Daryl watched as you sadly waved goodbye to Luke. You guys you had been seeing each other since even before the world ended and was replaced with the dead. You had both been living in Alexandria since before the wall had went up, you saw all of it happen in the blink of an eye; the world ending, the dead walking, The Monroe’s quickly devising a plan to keep the town safe, and the arrival of Rick’s group followed by more heartache and hardship. You and Luke shared a small house in the town, sitting on the right-hand side of the development, next to the last house that was placed within the town, furthest away from the wall, which belonged to Daryl.

You and Luke moved to Alexandria, before losing your families to the dead, you were college sweethearts, and you just always assumed you would be together forever. But lately something had changed in Luke, he was more reckless, and every chance he got it seemed, he was offering to go on runs, especially with Rosita. In the pit of your stomach you knew something was wrong, very wrong. Luke waved back at you, with little to no emotion in his eyes, from the back of a truck they where using for their run. You saw him quickly turn his attention back to Rosita smiling at her the way he used to smile at you.

You sighed a little, looking down, kicking a rock with your feet. You heard the gate close and slam shut as Aaron harshly pushed the lock back in place. He walked over to you and placed his hand on your shoulder, forcing you to look up at him with sad eyes.

“They’ll be back before you know it.” He said re-assuringly. “Rick will make sure of that.” He finished seriously, rubbing his hand comfortingly across your shoulder, before breaking contact, nodding and heading off to his home down the road.

You stood there not really sure what to do with yourself, you always felt off when Luke was gone, but you had felt off for a few months now, even when he was with you, he wasn’t really with you. You stare off into space analyzing the past few months, the drop in conversation between you two, the lack of intimacy, you used to find any excuse to sneak away to be together but lately he didn’t even want to touch you. You self-consciously wrap your arms around yourself, not realizing you were being watched.

Suddenly, you hear a scoff and realize that Daryl was standing a few feet away from you, by the front of the gate. He glared at you until you made eye contact, and then his head snapped away to look at a fixed point on the wall ahead of him. He sighed, seemingly angrily, and began walking toward you. He stops when he gets within inches of you, and growls into your ear, as he faces toward the town, his back against the gate.

“Don’t worry I’m sure your boyfriend will be just fine.” He said lowly and slightly bumped your shoulder as he passed by you.

What the hell was his problem? You thought to yourself and turned around to follow the tall, muscular redneck.

You run a little to catch up to him, as he has already taken several long strides away from you and down the street. You tap him on the shoulder and continue to try and reach his speed.

“What the hell was that about, Daryl?” You ask a little angrily and follow him as he picks up his pace. He obviously had an issue with something.

He angrily huffs and grips the strap of his crossbow tighter in his hands, saying nothing and tightening his jaw, he continues to walk towards the back of the development. You followed him past yours and Luke’s house, to the last house on the right, that was Daryl’s. You stomp up the porch behind him, grabbing his shoulder forcing him to turn around. He swings around angrily and glares into your eyes.

“What do ya want Y/N?” He shouted.

You suddenly felt enraged at his random anger directed at you. Who the hell did he think he was, talking to you that way? You thought confused and a little angry. He has barely ever said more than two words to you before this.

“I want to know what the hell you meant back there?” You demanded and he staggered back pacing a little, his eyes angry.

“You know what I’m talkin about Y/N. You know he is fucking her. How can you stay with an asshole like that? The way he treats you-” He shouts in your face, fuming, and begins pacing back and forth on the wooden floor again.

Your eyes grow wide, and you feel your heart stop in its tracks, as it sinks into the pit of your stomach.

“What?” You ask softly. Daryl continues to pace around his porch, gripping his weapon tighter in his hands, gesturing to your house on the left-hand side of his.

“I’ve fucking seen them together, Y/N! I know you aren’t that stupid! You fucking know too. Don’t tell me you don’t.” He shouts out again.

You feel your face get hot as your eyes begin to well up with tears.

“I gotta- I gotta go.” You say softly and turn to run down his stairs, you hear Daryl call your name, but you don’t want him to see you cry, you didn’t want such a strong man to see you break. You run across the lawn and up the stairs to your house, slamming, and locking the door.

You drudge your feet up the stairs, through blurry and wet eyes, emerging at your bedroom. You look at the bed and memories of you and Luke wash over you, followed by an image of him with Rosita in your bed. You wondered if they had ever screwed in your bed and suddenly you felt nauseated. You turn back from your bedroom and head down stairs to the living room, you plop yourself down on the couch head in your hands and let yourself feel all the pain you were feeling, letting all the tears come pouring out of you. You hear yourself sobbing from a distance, feeling like it wasn’t real.

You sob for nearly a half hour straight, until you feel like you are completely drained of everything inside of you. You peer over to the table on the side of the couch where you sit and see a picture of you and Luke sitting in a frame, a picture taken back before the world had ended, back before he was a cheater. Your eyes narrowed in anger as you stared at the man you thought would never hurt you. You pick up the frame angrily and throw it at the wall, making the glass shatter and the picture fall to the floor. Broken. Just like us. You thought to yourself with a scoff.

Anger takes over your body, washing over you and replacing the sadness. You dry your eyes, that have now started seething, and begin to rip down every picture frame and throw anything that reminded you of the two of you. That painting on the wall he had bought you for your 1-year anniversary – the year before the world went to shit, the necklace on the table he had found for you after you lost your parents, the promise ring on your finger that he had given you when you had first started dating. You throw it all to the ground, hearing wood and metal clashing and clanging against the hard wood floor of your living room.

You ran back up the stairs to your bedroom and pulled the blankets and sheets off the bed, throwing another picture of you and him on the nightstand down to the ground, as your boots walked over the glass, chomping on it without care. You pulled out a small duffle bag from your closet and began throwing your clothes into it, you didn’t care if you had to sleep on someone’s floor, you would not be here when Luke returned home. You grab as many clothes as would fit, and went to the bathroom to grab your toothbrush and a couple of bars of soap you had managed to find.

You grab the overly full duffle bag and sling it over your shoulder, heaving a little at how heavy it was, and walked determinedly down the stairs and out the door slamming it shut. You walk onto the porch and angrily begin toward the stairs. You hear Daryl again, to your right, calling your name from his porch.

“Y/N! Please, hold up for a minute!” Daryl’s voice had softened and showed signs of worry.

Daryl had not moved from this spot since he had blurted out Luke’s secret. He was sure you knew, but your reaction proved to him otherwise. He paced back and forth, angry at himself and his big mouth, that had caused you so much pain. He listened to you cry and throw things, watching you intently through your living room window, that just happened to face his own. So many nights he had watched you, not intending to get drawn in, but not being able to help himself. The way you would set up dinner night after night for you and Luke, and seeing that most nights he didn’t even bother to show up home until after you had given up and fallen asleep.

He watched as you paced your house lonely as can be whenever he was gone and lately you did the same even when he was there, both of you sitting in silence and not saying a word. He watched as you tried to kiss on Luke and make him feel your skin, but he would always pull away. Daryl guessed saying he was not in the mood. Bullshit. Daryl would think to himself, he knew the truth. Besides who would not be in the mood for Y/N, she was amazingly gorgeous and just as sweet as could be, Daryl would think to himself.

One night he watched as Y/N walked up the stairs and disappeared into her bedroom, after another failed attempt to get Luke to want her. Daryl saw how sad and tired her eyes were, tired of this same routine and tired of not being loved like she should be. Daryl saw Y/N’s bedroom light go out and watched Luke as his fingers began to twitch and he nervously looked up the stairs. Daryl watched from the dark of his living room in curiosity, watching as the man got more nervous by the minute. About 20 minutes went by and the man suddenly stood up, walking to the stairs and looking up at the bedroom door, which was shut. He listened for a moment and smiled to himself. He walked across the living room floor, down the hallway, and out the door.

Daryl put out his cigarette in the dark and stared curiously for a moment before getting up and walking out to his porch quietly closing his door behind him. He watched as Luke walked speedily down the road, looking like he had to be somewhere in a hurry. Daryl frowned and decided to follow him. He took long, quite strides down the side of the road, staying on the grass and in the shadows as much as he could. He followed the man to a house he knew well, Rosita and Abraham’s. He watched as Luke darted quickly to the side of the house, Daryl ducked behind the trees that separated Rosita and Abe’s house from Carol’s place. The town was dark, but the moon was full and brightened up the sky and the ground around it that night.

Daryl peered through the bushes to see Luke running to someone, the other person ran to him and wrapped their arms around him. Luke pulled this person into his arms, twirling them around, the moonlight illuminated their face, it was Rosita was a huge smile on her face. Daryl stood there shocked, feeling the seething anger build up inside of him. He watched as Luke pressed her up against the side of the wall and began to kiss her passionately. Daryl felt sick, watching as they became closer and closer to fucking right then and there. He hears them both begin to moan and tug at each other’s pants. Daryl turned away and made his way back down the street, stopping to stare up at Y/N’s dark bedroom window for a moment in silent sadness. What an asshole. Who could do that to her? He thought and again the anger returned to his being.

It had been two months since Daryl saw them together that first time and every time he saw Luke touch Rosita on the arm or whisper into her ear suggestively, when Y/N wasn’t looking, every single time it took all Daryl had not to walk right over and kick his ass. But, Y/N was always there, looking at Luke, still in love with him, still wanting him. Daryl thought eventually she would figure it out on her own, but here they were two months later and somehow he was still the asshole who had to break the news to her. And he didn’t do it well at all, talking wasn’t one of his strong points and he kicked himself for hurting her, just like that asshole she called hers.

“Y/N! Please, stop!” Daryl pleaded as he watched Y/N continue to storm down the pavement with a duffle bag in her hands.

You stopped but do not turn around, hearing Daryl’s footsteps come running up behind you. You feel nothing but rage and adrenaline coursing through your body. Suddenly, you feel Daryl’s big hand on your shoulder, nudging you around to face him. You turn toward him and see that he is breathing heavy from running to catch up to you. You look into his eyes and see regret in them, you scoff.

“What?!” You cry out angrily and glare at him.

Daryl takes his hand off your shoulder and steps back with his hands in the arm, realizing that your anger is directed toward him.

“I just, I just… I wanted to say sorry. I didn’t mean for it to come out like that.” He said lowly and looks at the ground ashamed of himself.

You smirk a little in your rage, feeling heated tears again come to the surface.

“You’re sorry? You’re sorry?!” You scream a little and drop your duffle bag on the ground, charging your small frame into him and start hitting his chest with your fists as hard as you can, crying and punching.

“You are an asshole, you know that?!” You continue to cry and punch at him. And Daryl lets you do so, without wincing, he takes in all your pain.

You punch and punch until you your hands are sore and you are exhausted, you begin to sob into his chest, dropping your fists as they did no good against Daryl’s muscular physique. You sob tiredly into him and you suddenly feel his big arms wrap around your body, pulling you tightly into him, as you cry.

“Shhh… Shhh…” Daryl comforts you, rocking you back and forth in his arms.

You hear the sound of footsteps tapping down the concrete behind you, in between your sobbing tears, and hear Aaron’s voice.

“Is everything okay?!?” Aaron asked Daryl, breathless. He had heard Y/N screaming, as he was walking to the gate for guard duty, and turned around to see her hitting Daryl. He ran as fast as he could down the long pavement, watching as Daryl wrapped her in his arms.

Aaron tried to catch his breath, while looking concernedly into Daryl’s eyes, and down to your sobbing face that was hidden from him.

You buried your face deeper into Daryl’s chest, trying to escape the embarrassment of facing Aaron this way. You feel Daryl nod his head, as his chin moves up and down above your head.

“Ya. She’s okay. I’ll take care of her.” Daryl said in a soft, low tone.

Aaron stands there for a moment, looking at Daryl, and back down at you, remaining hidden. He nods sadly at Daryl and then gently puts his hand on your back, massaging it a little.

“You know where to find me, if you need anything Y/N.” He says to you and you nod into Daryl’s chest, to answer him, still not wanting him to see you hurting. Daryl’s arms wrap tighter around you, as your tears begin to subside.

Aaron looks at Daryl, “Take care of her,” he says and Daryl again nods, onto the top of your head.

You hear Aaron walk away in the other direction. Daryl holds you for another moment in the street. You turn your head to the side, never breaking contact with his body, your tears had retreated once again, and you took a few deep breaths into him.

Daryl notices your body’s ceasefire, and slowly loosens his arms, keeping them on your shoulders, but breaking your head’s contact with his chest, to force you to look up at him. He sees your eyes are red and your face is drenched, he looks down at you in agony. I would give anything to take this pain away from her. He thought sadly. He looks at you and lowly speaks, “Come on,” is all he says before pulling his arms away from you to lift the duffle bag, with one hand, over his shoulder.

You stay there, too tired to fight it and watch as he lugs your heavy bag over his shoulder effortlessly and comes back up to pull you to his other shoulder, wrapping his free arm around your neck. You lean your head onto his shoulder as you both slowly make your way back down the street.

You pass the place you used to call home and Daryl leads you up the stairs, back onto his porch, where the whole thing had begun, at least for you. He slowly opens the door to his house and walks you both into his living room, where he throws your bag onto the floor, and leads you to the couch. You plop down and begin to dry your eyes, a little embarrassed now at the scene you had just caused.

Daryl walks over to the living room window, that faced the place you used to call home, and quickly drew the long, dark red curtains. You sigh a little relieved you didn’t have to look into the house you used to call home. The room darkens and Daryl uses his lighter to light small and big candles alike, that were scattered around the living room. Suddenly, the glow of the candlelight illuminated the space, making it feel more homey than you were used to. You lay back into the couch and continue to steady your breathing, looking at Daryl as he sits on the couch beside you, looking straight ahead, trying not to be intrusive. He sits with his hands nervously wrapping around each other and his one leg twitching. You also see him nervously biting his lip as he stared straight ahead.

“I’m sorry I hit you.” You say quietly, looking at your own hands.

“That’s alright. I deserved it.” He said, still twitching.

“No, you didn’t. That anger wasn’t meant for you.” You say to him.

He turns to look at you, as he nervously bites his lip, “I’m sorry too. I should have never told ya. At least not like that.” He said sincerely apologetic for his slip up.

“I knew. I knew something was… off.” You admit, again playing absentmindedly with your fingers as you spoke. “I just didn’t want to admit it to myself. I didn’t want to lose him too.” You quietly say.

Daryl nods a little in understanding and looks down at his hands again. A few minutes pass and neither of you speak, just sitting in each other’s company.

“You’re welcome to stay here.” Daryl says quietly, not looking at you.

You smile your first small smile since this afternoon, you reach over and touch his arm lightly.

“Thanks.” You say, he tenses a little at your touch. You notice, but shrug it off as Daryl being Daryl. You drop your hand back into your lap.

“Ugh. I can’t believe this.” You lean forward, running your hands through your hair, stressed. You two are now shoulder to should on the couch. You let your hands run up and down your face, rubbing your skin.

“I probably look like shit.” You say to yourself, trying to rub the feeling of betrayal off you.

Daryl scoffs a little, “I don’t think that’s possible.” He says quietly, rubbing his knuckles harder.

“Yeah, right.” You say self-deprecatingly, letting your hands rest over your mouth as today’s memories run through your brain, over and over again.

“You’re beautiful, Y/N.” He says, still not looking at you.

Your head snaps over to look at him, in response.

“What?” You ask, taken aback.

He nervously bites his lip some more before slowly turning his head to meet your eyes, his eyes softly looking into yours, the candlelight flickering in them.

“You’re beautiful.” He says again, softly, and matter-of-factly.

“You could have anyone you wanted. I just never knew why you wanted him.” He says dropping his head sadly.

“When I found out, I wanted to tell you. But I didn’t know how to, I didn’t want you to hurt… I shoulda told you…” He trailed off looking at the closed curtains ahead of you two.

“I shoulda told you that I couldn’t stand you being with him… and that I wanted to be with you…” He trails of nervously.

You watch the man in awe, his strong, muscular arms flexed onto his knees, taking in his large, beautiful frame. You look at his sideways face, taking in his nervous lips and worried eyes, as if he had said something extremely dangerous. His leg twitched and he waited for a response. Daryl expected anger or laughter, he had never been a hit with women, didn’t know how to talk to them. What he got surprised him as you gently put your hand on his twitching leg next to you. The leg froze in place and he again forced himself to look into your eyes, confused this time.

You sat there looking at him, in shock. “I had no idea, Daryl….” You trail off, not sure what to say.

“You don’t have to say anything, it’s okay…” He says dropping his head, to look at the couch space in-between you two awkwardly.

“I know I’m not much… I just… thought you should know.” He forced the words out of his mouth, immediately wishing he had stayed quiet.

You remain silent for a moment, before moving your other hand up to his downward facing chin, before gently lifting it so that you can peer into his eyes.

You look at him softly, “I just didn’t know… You are amazing Daryl, you are one of the best men here, hell you may even be the best man here. I just had no idea.” You say, to reassure him.

He nods, looking down as he takes in your words, before looking back into your eyes.

“I’m not good with the words.” He says sheepishly.

You smirk a little, “Really? I couldn’t tell.” You laugh a little, making him smirk just a little.

“How long… How long have you felt this way?” You ask, still in shock that this beautiful man would ever look at you that way.

“Awhile. Since before I found out… Maybe since the first time I saw you.” He admitted, avoiding your gaze again.

Your face went flush, feeling embarrassed and excited all at once.

“Wow.” You say simply and remove your hands from him, to rub them on your face again, concentrating on everything he had just revealed.

He clears his throat nervously a few minutes later and you realize you still haven’t said anything.

“Forget it. I shouldn’t have said anything.” He says, suddenly trying to get up from the couch. You instinctually grab his knee before he has a chance to get up and push down on it, hard. He looks at you and sits back down.

You slowly look back over at his terrified face, you take your other hand and gently place it on the side of his right cheek, stroking it gently a few times, and looking at him softly.

“No. I’m glad you did. I’m just… I’m just trying to wrap my head around this all… that’s all. I never would have guessed that you would think of me that way, of all the people you could have…” You trail off, looking down and biting your lip.

“I’m glad you told me, Daryl. I think it is really sweet.” You say and lean in to place an innocent kiss on his cheek, rubbing your thumb on his cheek as you do. You slowly retract your lips and he stares at you with something that looked a whole lot like love and admiration.

“I only want you. I can treat you better than he ever did…” Daryl stares at you, feeling more brave after feeling your lips on his face.

You smile and pull his face back toward you, this time aiming for his lips. You slowly pressed your lips on top of his, gently sucking his top lip into yours, before sliding your tongue along his bottom lip. You feel him moan a little and his lips part slightly. You look at him and he has his eyes closed, in pure bliss.

You press your lips into his again, this time sliding your tongue into his mouth slightly licking his tongue, you feel his tongue dart out at yours in response, you go in again, swirling around his tongue as he does the same to yours. He is a great kisser for someone so shy. You thought to yourself and you swirled your tongues around each other, more passionately with every pass. You suddenly felt electricity run through your body, as your kisses deepened, something you had not felt for a long time. You moan a little into him as you harshly suck on his tongue before beginning to swirl around it again. He growls a little, causing vibration to run through your mouth and all through your body. You felt yourself getting hot and bothered, in the best way.

Daryl begins to take charge and puts both hands onto the sides of your face as you continue to kiss each other passionately. His body begins to lean into yours and your body slowly lies back on the couch in response. He adjusts with you and suddenly you are lying on your back with your head on the arm rest of the couch, you slowly try and begin to stretch your legs out to lay them flush with the couch. He notices and stands up a little, never breaking his lips away from yours. Once you have your legs in place, he positions on of his knees on the inside of the couch, against the back of it and the other on the other side of your legs, he is straddling you, but not touching, except for your mouths as they devour each other.

He moans into you again as you swirl your tongues around each other, sucking and licking faster and faster. He breaks his lips away from you and uses one hand to slightly turn your head to the side, exposing your neck. You bury your face into the side of the couch, with your eyes closed in ecstasy. Daryl’s lips land softly on the side of your neck, slowly beginning to suck and swirl his tongue up and down your skin.

“Mmmm.” You moan softly to yourself, loving the feeling of his tongue on your body. He licks his way up to the spot behind your ear and sucking on it lightly, before beginning to swirl his tongue faster and harder into your skin. He takes your earlobe into his mouth, grazing his tongue across it, flicking it from side to side.

“Oh God, Daryl!” You cry out and he smirks a little into your ear. He breathes heavily into your ear and moves back down your neck, to your collarbone, he harshly takes it in as the begin to writhe under him in response.

You grab his sides and tug on his vest a little, before moving your hands underneath the open fabric and resting your hands on either side of him, loving the feel of his bare skin on your fingertips. You begin to rub him up and down, feverishly, as he sucks on your neck, moving from one side to the other. You move your head in compliance, to allow his tongue to travel wherever it wanted. It felt so damn good on your skin.

Your hands grow more anxious and you move them from his sides, up his bare, muscular chest, and up to his shoulders, where they are forced to stop because of the shoulders of his vest. You open your eyes and look up with a whimper. You use your hands, under the shoulders of his vest and gently begin to push it upward, pushing it over his shoulders and down his huge arms. He slowly lifts one arm off the couch to allow you to pull the vest out of it, followed by the other, never removing his lips for your body. You sigh in relief as you throw the vest to the ground, caressing his bare, broad shoulders and up and down his back.

He groans at your touch and breaks contact with you, raising his head back up to look you in the eyes, he smiles and crashes his lips back onto yours, you moan in pleasure at how hard he kissed you now. You passionately respond, grabbing his face harshly, trying to pull him into your mouth even harder.

You feel his body lower and press against yours, feeling how hard he was as his cock rubbed slightly into the bottom of your stomach. You felt yourself get wet the moment you felt his cock press against you. Your hand reaches down, on its own accord, and slightly begins rubbing his dick, from outside his jeans.

“Fuck!” He breaks contact with your lips and cries out as your hand rubs his cock, with just enough pressure to make him almost come undone right there. You try to open your legs to him, which was futile as he had you pinned on the small couch.

He noticed you trying to lift your legs to him and stares down at you with low, lustful eyes.

He stands up, shirtless, his bare chest glowing in the candlelight. You look up at him with a whimper of sadness, making him smirk and his eyes dance with excitement.

“Come on.” He says, holding his hand out to you. You take it breathlessly as he pulls you up off of the couch. He walks around the living room, with your hand in his, blowing out candles as he does. He takes one of the bigger candles that is still lit and hands it to you, he takes another that is still lit, glancing around the room making sure he had blown out all of the others. He holds the candle in one hand and your hand in the other. He strides out of the living room, pulling you behind him. You hold onto his hand and smile as he pulls you down the hallway and up the stairs to his bedroom, the candlelight illuminating your path.

Once in his room, he shuts and locks the door, dropping your hand for a moment and taking the candle that you held from you. He walks over to the right side of his room where his bed is, along with a night side table on both sides. He walks to one side of the bed and places one candle in the middle, walks over to the other side and places the other candle on the opposite stand. He walks over to the window facing the bed and draws the dark curtains into place, completely covering the window.

He strides back over to you, who stands with your back against the door, watching his gorgeous figure in the flickering light. You bite your lip a little in anticipation, you had no idea how this happened, but you couldn’t deny that you were so ready for him to be all over you again. Luke had never made you feel half this good.

He wraps his arms around you, crashing his lips back into yours, and slamming you into the door behind you. You moan out in pleasure. You feel his arms move down your back, to your ass, as he grabs both cheeks with this big, rough hands, and pulls you into him. His lips move back down to your neck as he pulls your ass into him, suddenly he lifts you up and pulls you away from the door. You wrap your legs around his waist in response. He moves his lips back onto yours and you rest your hands on the sides of his hair, massaging his hair as you shove your tongue around his over and over.

He keeps his hands on your ass, firmly massaging it, as he twirls you both around and starts to walk you over to the bed. You feel yourself fall over into the soft mattress, as his body pushes you both down. He presses his body into you harder now, with his lips on yours. His hands begin to move from your ass, to up your back, dipping his rough hands under the fabric of your shirt, you lift your body into his in response. His hands roughly massage your lower back before making their way up to your bra clasp, he opens his eyes while still devouring your mouth, seeing you smile in reaction. You feel his thumbs play with the tiny pieces of metal, as he finally unclips them and your bra springs apart under your shirt. He gently massages your back where the clasp used to be, and slowly begins to trace on of his hands from your back, to your side, before venturing to the front of your stomach, slowly making their way up and underneath your loosened bra. His finger traces the bottom of your left breast ever so slightly a few times, causing goosebumps and your nipples to hard.

You break contact with his mouth, shooting your head back, ”Touch me!” You cry out and he obliges, roughly taking the breast into his big hand, cupping and massaging it in a deep circular motion. You continue to cry out to him, your body writhing up into his hand. You feel his hand begin to flick your nipple in between his fingers and you cry out again, “Oh God, Yes!” Causing him to growl like an animal into your mouth, looking at you with pure desire.

You feel his other hand come around your other side and dip under your other bra cup and begin to massage your right breasts, flipping your nipples around, and roughly massaging them over and over as you cried out for more.

He slowly moved both hands down your stomach, removing his hands from you and breaking his kiss. You snap your head up to him, looking at him with questioning eyes.

His eyes peered down at you, still lustfully, but you now see a hint of concern in them. You stare at him awaiting whatever was next. He breathes heavily over you and looks into your eyes, softly.

“I really want you, YN.” He says and you nod, trying to pull him back into your lips, he uses his hand to push you back down again, softly. You look into his eyes again, your whole body aching for every part of him.

“But, I don’t want you to do this just because you are upset. So if that is all this is, then-“ Before he can finish his thought, you reach your hand up and push the wild hair away from his eyes, looking into them seriously.

“That is not what this is, Daryl. I want you. I’ve never felt this good, ever! Please don’t stop.” You say, lovingly looking into his eyes. He stares down at you, still a little unsure. You arch up into him involuntarily, all the while staring at him with pleading eyes. He nods and smiles down at you, you smile in response. He dips down toward you again, crashing his lips onto yours again.

You smile into his lips and pull his shoulders toward you with all your might, pulling him so close your teeth clink together with the sudden motion. You moan and he chuckles at the sensation. You harshly swirl your tongue around him over and over again, and his hands return to the bottom of your shirt. His fingers trace your bare stomach underneath it a few times, and you feel his hands begin to pull the fabric up, over your stomach, he breaks away from your lips, sitting up, straddling you, and gently pulls up the fabric, all the while his fingers tracing up your body. You lean up and help him by raising your arms over your head, he slowly pulls the shirt off of you and throws it to the ground. You pull your arms out of your bra straps and throw it to the floor, mimicking his actions. You stare at him as he takes your naked breasts in, he licks his lips and moans lowly as he slides his hips down a little and slowly moves his chest up your core, to your stomach, where he lays on you, putting pressure on all the right places, his stomach breathes into your pussy, which you were pretty sure was soaked through and through already.

He breathes heavily into you as he slowly descends his mouth onto your right breast, licking and swirling around it, using his other hand to massage your left breast, flicking and twirling your nipple with his tongue on one side and with his fingers on the other. Your legs open wider as your head shoots back in pleasure.

“Yes! Oh God, Yes!” You cried out massaging his hair pushing his head into your skin deeper, he slowly bites down on it and your cry out again, arching your hips into him. He kisses his way across your sternum and reaches the other breasts and begins to suck and swirl on that one, massaging your other one with his other hand.

“Oh my god, Daryl, I am so wet. I need you!” You cry out, massaging his hair and pulling it a little, from above.

He breaks his kiss from your skin and props up on both of his elbows, his lips still inches from your skin. You look down at him pleading with your eyes and he smirks a little, licking his lips. He turns his attention back to your skin, kissing your breast a few more times roughly, before licking and sucking his way down your stomach, across your belly button, until he is sucking on the soft skin that is touching the waistline of your pants. He looks up and sees your shaking your head back and forth in pleasure, eyes closed and biting your lip. He smiles to himself, he loved the way he made you lose control. He took his tongue, moving it over to the side of your hip, and slid it down slightly underneath your pants, dragging it slowly from your hip, across your stomach, to your other hip. He kissed and sucked the side of your hip when he was done with the trek.

“Oh Fuck!” You moan in pleasure and the sensation of his tongue so close to your core

He moves his fingers over to the middle of your waistline, and plays with the button as you writhe underneath him in anticipation.

“Hold still.” He says in a low chuckle, kissing you under your belly button again.

He breaks the button loose and slowly undoes your zipper. He sits back up and scoots off the bed and pulls your legs down and closed. He pulls your boots off, along with your socks, and then begins to tug at your pant legs, ripping them off of you and throwing them behind him. He pushes both legs back up, using your feet and pushes them apart again. He stares down in disbelief at your white panties that are completely soaked and dripping wet.

“Fuck.” He says to himself and licks his lips. He kneels back onto the bed, positioning himself between your inviting legs, and puts on leg on his shoulder, he kisses and sucks his way down your leg, to your thigh, and over to your pussy, he lightly sucks just above your clit, making you moan out in failed anticipation. He crosses your core and begins to kiss and suck up your other thigh, and down your other leg. He grabs both your legs by your ankles, putting them both in this left hand and raising them straight into the air. His right hands grazes down your right leg, softly, landing on your right ass cheek. He grabs your ass a little over your panties and then roughly begins to tug at the fabric. He pulls it free from your right ass cheek. You lift yourself up with your hands, pushing your ass of the bed as he slides over and pulls the fabric roughly off the other cheek, sliding them up and over both your legs and ankles, throwing them behind him. He looks again at your ass and grabs it, hard.

“Fuck, Yes!” You cry out at the sensation. He grabs it harshly again, smacking it a little. You cry out again in response.

He smiles to himself before pulling your leg apart again, pulling one back over his hand to rest on his shoulder again. You lower your ass back to the bed, allowing him to part your legs.

He looks down at your wet pussy and growls like an animal, liking his lips.

“I’m going to make you cum so hard, baby.” He says, not able to break his eyes away from your pussy. He crashes his lips down onto your core, this time aiming directly onto your clit, swirling and sucking gently at first, before picking up his pace.

“Fuck. Daryl! Yes!” You cry out, reaching down to push his head harder into you as he sucks on your clit feverishly. He moans at your reaction, “Mmmm…” causing vibration through your pussy making your almost cum right there. His lips escape your clit and begin to rapidly move up and down your folds, at first teasingly, and then plunging into you wildly. His tongue swirled and darted in and out of you, while you push his head into you, forcing his tongue to fuck you as hard as it could. He moved back up to your clit and began swirling around it again. You feel his hand graze down the backside of your thigh, squeeze your ass again, before making its way to the inside of your leg and to your pussy.

He shoves two fingers into you, hard. You arch up, pressing his head to your clit harder. “Yes!” You cry out again to him, as he hits your clit just right. He pumps into you over and over with his fingers as your hips arch up to match his rhythm, only to be met with even more intense pressure from his mouth on your clit, as you continue to push down on him. You arch up and down as he pumps into you, he pushes three fingers inside of you and continues to thrust them into your pussy.

“Oh my God, Yes! Right there! Just like that!” You cry out, pushing his head so hard into you, you thought you may be hurting him, but it felt so good. He pumps harder and harder, as you push his swirling tongue into you, he flicks your clit and pumps his fingers in and out rougher and shorter. You feel him flick your clit over and over, again and again and can’t take it anymore. You press him into you a few more times, as he pumps his fingers into you, and cum all over his fingers.

“Fuuuucckk…. Yessss!” You cry out as you climax, long and hard, still pressing him into you as you hit your high.

You drop your hand, once your senses return. He removes his fingers and lowers his tongue, sticking it inside your pussy, taking long deep strides up it several times, lapping your cum into his mouth. You groan I pleasure, as your legs playfully move from side to side, around his head. You bring your hands up to your breasts and massage them a little, feeling the last bit of your orgasm prolonged.

“Oh God, Daryl! That felt so damn good!” You cry out in happiness as he laps the last of your cum up.

His lips retreat your pussy and he looks up at you playing with your breasts, eyes closed.

“Mm!” He says aroused, placing a long hard kiss under your navel again, smacking the side of your ass.

“Damn Y/N! You like that?” He asks and you look down at him playfully nodding and biting your lip.

You slowly graze the leg that is over his shoulder, down to his back, rubbing your heel up and down it suggestively. He looks at you with dark eyes and groans a little.

“I want you… inside of me.” You say in a commanding voice, startling even yourself. He smirks a little in surprise and smacks the side of your ass again, grabbing it for a moment, before smiling up at you and scooting off the bed. He stares into your eyes, never taking his off of yours as he stands up at the foot of the bed. You watch as he quickly undoes his belt, snapping it a little as he slaps it to the floor, fucking you with his eyes. He kicks off his boots, pulls off his socks, and begins to unbutton his black denim jeans. You see him unzip his pants and roughly tug at the fabric as it falls quickly to the floor. As his pants fall his hard, glistening cock pops out and you moan to yourself in pleasure, taking your breast in your hand again. Fuck. He was so big and so ready to fuck. You thought as you saw his cock was wet around the tip already. You lick your lips and stare at his hard cock. He notices and smirks down at you.

“Hey.” He said quickly, causing you to look up into his eyes again. “My eyes are up here.” He said laughing a little before beginning to crawl up the bed, toward you, his big, strong arms climbing up you, in between your legs, up past your already aching pussy. He climbed up you until his arms were resting on either side of your head, he slowly, pushed his body down onto you, looking in your eyes, first his cock pressed against your leg, his hips grinding into yours deeply, then his stomach on yours, followed by his chest pressing down onto your breasts, he crashed his tongue into your mouth to devour it again.

He pulled you by the back of your hair slightly, to gain deeper access into your mouth and your moaned into him, your tongues fighting for dominance. He kissed you for a minute, pushing his hip into yours deep and long, you could feel his cock throbbing on your leg, you could feel his juice run slightly down your leg, after each thrust.

You break your kiss and pull his head back by his hair, staring at him.

“Please. I want you to fuck me!” You cry out and he smirks.

Suddenly, he kneels up reaches behind him grabbing your legs and wrapping them around his waist, he quickly grabs his cock, moaning at his own touch, he was so fucking turned on. And begins to bring his wet tip to your pussy, slightly running it up and down against your folds a few times before pushing himself into you with one long thrust. As does this the entire bed moves up and slams against the wall, your bodies following the motion. He groans and thrusts heavily again, noticing that every time he does this your breasts jump up and down with the motion. He thrusts into you again, long and hard, the bed bumping again.

“Fuck! Yes! Harder!” You cry out in pleasure.

He thrusts into you again and begins to slowly pick up his pace, watching was your breasts bounce up and down and the bed bouncing against the wall.

“Fuck!” He says to himself as he watches himself fuck you.

You writhe up into him, slamming your hips against him, trying to find his rhythm. He grabs your ass on both sides and guides you along with him, slamming into your harder and harder, finding a rhythm that you both enjoyed. You slammed into him and he slammed down at the same time, putting  more pressure on your clit with every deep thrust.

“Faster, Baby!” You cry out and he complies, thrusting faster into you, guiding your hips along with his. You can hear the head board slam into the wall over and over, faster and faster, as he thrusts into your harshly, you feel him pick up his pace and grab your hips harder as he licks his lips and pumps into you more and more, hitting your clit hard with every thrust.

“Yes! Right there! Harder baby!” He sees that you are so close to cumming, to he cuts loose and just starts fucking the shit out of you, the hardest you have ever been fucked. He pounds into you, hitting your clit harder and harder and filling your deeper and deeper, as he speeds his pace up. The bed sounds like it is going to break.

“Oh fuck, baby! I’m going to come.” You hear him say as he fucks you fast and hard.

He pumps into you short and hard a few more times and you feel yourself explode.

“Oh…My… God!!! Fuck! Oh Yes!” You cry out, grinding your hips deeply into his as you climax so hard, you grind up into him putting as much pressure on your clit with his hip as you can, cumming for what seemed like minutes. “Yes!!” You scream out.

“Fuck!” He cries out feeling you cum, he thrusts shorter and faster over and over into you, slamming into you the hardest he has yet, and you feel him explode inside of you.

“Fuck! Yeah!!” He cries out as he cums inside of you, thrusting a few more times to get all the pleasure he can out of you. You moan in pleasure as you feel him pump into you harshly as he cums and rides his climax out. You reach down and massage your clit, doing the same. Both of you moan out at each other and the bed continues to squeak.

He thrusts into you shortly a few more times, “Damn, Girl…” He growls as he exists you and falls exhaustedly onto your body, resting his head on the side of your neck, you move your head to allow him to do so. You are both sticky with sweat and your hearts are pounding with adrenaline. You stroke his back with your fingertip, feeling nothing but blissful pleasure. He lifts his head up to slowly kiss your neck once more before snuggling into it again, trying to regain his breath.

You couldn’t believe the amount of pleasure you had just felt, you had never experienced anything like it before. You sigh happily and kiss him on the top of his head slowly.

Once his heart beat steadied, he looks into your eyes, slightly tracing your arm with his fingertips, causing goosebumps again. “You are amazing, Y/N. If you want me to, I’ll treat you like that every day of your life.” He said, smiling contently at you.

You look down at him happily and grin. “I definitely want you… and only you to.” You say and he brings his mouth up to kiss you passionately once more, pulling you deeply into his mouth. You moan at the feeling of him, at everything about him.

He lets you go and rolls over onto his back beside you on the bed, outstretching his arm to you. You smile and turn over to lay on his shoulder, wrapping one of your arms over his chest, and one of your legs over his thigh. He tugs a blanket that was haphazardly push to the side, beside you and pulls on it, lifting it over the two of you. He sighs happily at the feel of you laying there next to him.

“I’ve wanted you for so long Y/N, I’m not ever going to let anything bad happen to you again.” He says softly.

You smile and kiss his chest softly, before laying your head back down onto him. You fell asleep smiling that night. And every night after that…

NEWT SCAMANDER X READER

HEARTBEAT

desc: Newt is unable to grasp why you would ever find fascination in observing him, which is followed by a heartfelt moment, and admittance of love.

Kisses and lots of FLUFF! <3 (gif not mine, creds to owner)

Newt Scamander was an absolute work of art, and simply studying his features helped you relax, so you did. He sat at the polished oak table, his right leg shaking as he focused, his honey colored locks sprawled across his forehead. When he focused, these little crinkles appeared from the furrow of his eyebrows, and he would chew his lower lip whilst deep in thought. A golden beam of sunlight twinkled across his button nose, rosy cheeks, and brilliant blue-green eyes. He reached for his steaming mug of tea, letting the curls of steam crawl over his face before taking a careful sip. Then his lips twitched ever so noticeably, and you could make out the little dimples of his curious smile.

“Why are you staring at me?” he asked, his head still bent into his leather notebook, his white feather quill tight in his hand.

You sat across the table from him, head in palm as you examined him, “because you’re very nice to stare at, Newt.”

This split his lips into a wide grin, and he gently set his quill down before giving his full attention to you. “I can’t focus when you’re devouring me with those eyes.”

You shrugged, giving a small grin, “you’re always staring at me, too.”

Newt’s glimmering eyes crinkled, “well, that’s different.”

“Oh yeah?” you teased, “how so?”

“Well, you see, with you - okay, but - you’re very, well-” New continuously tripped over his words as he fumbled to piece together his thoughts.

“Go on,” you encouraged, stretching your hand across the table.

Newt brought his eyes down, his hand coming up gently to rest in yours, his fingers intertwining with the most cautious ease. He strung his fingers between yours, his eyes looking over your hands for a good while.

“Newt, you’re doing it again,” you giggled, when he’d gotten distracted and removed his hand to draw patterns all over your palms.

“What? Oh, oh, yes, right,” he sighed, putting his hand back in yours. He looked back up, his cheeks flushing a soft pink. “Erm, well, you are the most fascinatingly charming girl I h-have ever had the pleasure of coming upon,” he began, his cheeks reddening at once. “So y-you see, when I study my creatures, I am always discovering more of their hidden wonders, as I am with you. Sometimes the sunlight will cross different crevices of your face, sometimes your eyes are darker than usual, sometimes a strand of hair falls loose, a-and sometimes you’re smile is so wonderfully mesmerizing that I must always…watch. I can’t miss a moment, you see, I have to study you until I know all you’re little quirks like the back of my hand.” Newts eyes had drifted onto a patch of table around halfway through, unable to hold your gaze.

You squeezed his hand really lightly to get his focus, “Newt.”

He released your hand and brought his own back down into his lap, shifting in his chair and looking very flustered when he looked back up at you.

“Newt, you’re too good to me,” you whispered, feeling ridiculous for wanting to cry.

“I’m just so lucky to have you, please know this,” he mumbled hurriedly.

You shook your head with a faint laugh, “what makes you think I have no reason to admire you?”

His jaw clenched a little, and you saw his face droop, “my love, there is nothing special to see.”

That physically pained you to hear.

“Newt!” you gasped, “Please, never say that again.”

He grew instantly worried, “Oh-I’m so sorry, please forgive me, I-”

“Shh,” you cut him off and stood up, heading around the table and taking a seat right beside him, turning your chair toward Newt. He half-heartedly turned to face you as well.

“Newt,” you smiled sadly, raising your palm up to graze his cheek. He twitched nervously under your touch, but you reassured him and rested your hand against his freckle dotted skin.

“Newt, you are the kindest and most amazing person ever, and I hate to see you doubting yourself like this. You are so special Newt, and I wish you could see yourself the way I do; as a sweet, loving, and most definitely heart stoppingly beautiful human being. Yes there are kind folks out there, yes there are gorgeous folks out there, but never have I found someone who is both as gorgeous and compassionate to the extent that you are, which is why I am so deeply in lo-”

You stopped short, realizing you had spoken too much and instantly freezing over. You had never exchanged the three magic words with Newt before, and suddenly it seemed nothing but terrifying.

Newts mouth opened, his skin warming beneath your fingertips, “What?”

“N-nothing,” you mumbled, dropping your hand nervously.

Newt grabbed your hand gently before it could fall, and took it in his own, bringing it right up to his chest. You could feel his steady heartbeat rapidly quickening beneath the fabric of his soft clothes.

“Do you feel that?” he gulped.

You nodded shyly, “Yeah?”

“That, (Y/N), is what one who is madly in love feels,” he smiled nervously. “This here, i-is physical proof of how I feel when I’m with you, and how it feels to be head over heels for y-you, my darling.”

You felt your own heartbeat falter before quickening, and Newt asked, “Do you love me too?”

He had said it so quietly that you almost missed it. His lips quivered, his slender fingers trembling as his face sunk into a state of absolute sadness and worry. You couldn’t even speak at the sight, so instead you brought his hand up to your own chest, and lay it against your heart. Newt stretched his fingers slowly across your front, his palm taking in the rapid and intense thrum of your heartbeat.

“You tell me,” you breathed quietly.

He brought his eyes from your heart to your painfully nervous gaze. Once again, his lips twitched and broke into that familiar smile. The sun sent flares across his warm features and illuminated his overjoyed expression.

“I would very much like to kiss you right now, if you would allow me,” he proposed shyly.

You couldn’t help but laugh, your smile stretching wide as you gave him a nod.

Newt pulled a stray hair of yours affectionately behind your ear before tracing down to your jawline and resting his hand beneath your chin. He gave you one last look before tilting his head in with a flutter of his eyelids. Your eyes closed at the moment where your lips made contact. It was only for the briefest of moments, but was plenty enough for you to feel intoxicated by the taste you were given. He was soft and gentle with you, as if you were a fragile piece, and his lips were full, warm, and tasted of delightful sugar sweet joy. You could feel his hand quivering beneath your chin, but you pushed your lips in a little deeper to show you were at ease with him. You felt a rolling crystal droplet trickle down from his eyes and down onto your lips, but the taste of salt in the kiss was one that you knew was from tears of joy. Newt’s timid lips twitched upwards against yours, and he pulled back a second later, forgetting to breathe for a moment. He gulped down the lump in his throat and took a deep breath in whilst opening his bluish green eyes again.

“T-that was-” he stuttered.

“Wonderful,” you smiled and bent forward, dropping a light peck against Newt’s nose. You brought your own head down to Newt’s chest, and burrowed into the crevice of his neck, where you breathed in the scent of flowers and, possibly, niffler. He brought his hand up to hold your head, his free arm coming around your waist and giving you a squeeze. You smiled against his skin and let your eyes come to a close.

Newt sat quietly, formulating sentences but only coming up with one, “I’m just… so lucky to have you,” he whispered again.

Imagine dealing with drunk Chris.

A/N: Man, oh man. I just can’t stay away from writing, can I? Well, at least majority of my holiday stuff’s packed. This is another fic inspired by a conversation with the lovely @chrisevans-imagines We have some very weird, but oddly inspiring conversations. Don’t we, Ava? 😂

You pushed your way through the crowd as you searched the overly packed party for your best friend, Chris, who had drunkenly called you ten times in the last hour; it was 2:19AM. He could count himself incredibly lucky that you were finishing up some paperwork at the hospital otherwise you would’ve killed him for interrupting your much needed beauty sleep. You’d been pulling quite a few late nights over the past week as you were about to take leave and go on your holiday, so things hadn’t been particularly easy on you. But you knew before you went into med-school that being a doctor wasn’t going to be easy, what you didn’t know was how much harder it was being a doctor who was best friends with Chris Evans; a man who had the equivalent energy of his puppy, Dodger. If you weren’t so in-love with him, he wouldn’t get away with half the things he put you through. But you were, so here you were at the party.

“Hello beautiful.” An arm hooked around your waist and pulled you into him; you groaned and pushed the drunken stranger off you. “Geez, lighten up!” He called after you as you disappeared further into the room. If you didn’t find Chris in the next five minutes, you were outta there.

“Hell yeah I’ll get it in!” You heard Chris’ voice and you followed it, chuckling when you found him by the ping pong table. “Don’t you worry, I'mma get it into that cup.” He bounced the ball off the table and balanced it on the back of his hand as he swallowed another gulp of his beer. “Watch me nail this th-” He spotted you and his smile tenfold. “Y/N, you came!” He downed his drink and tossed both ball and red solo cup aside before making his way to you, waving off the protests that came from the other players. “Sorry guys, I’m done. My girl’s here,” he draped an arm around you and pulled you closer to him.

“I’m not your girl, Evans.” You reminded him, but made no effort to push him away from you like you had with the other guy; you were very glad that the dim lights hid your deeply flushed cheeks. “I’m just here to make sure you don’t drink and drive, the last thing I need is to be called back in because someone got into a car accident.”

“Awww,” he cooed, squeezing you tightly against him. “Was someone worried about little old me?” You rolled your eyes, but failed to hide your smile. “Don’t be, my best friend’s a very good doctor. She’s very pretty too, like- she could be on Grey’s Anatomy.” He slurred then grinned when he heard you chuckle. “And that’s you,” he booped your nose, “I’m talking about you.”

“I know, and I’m talking about me too when I say I’ve had a very long night and I’m ready to go home.” He nodded with furrowed brows, really trying to process your words. “C'mon,” you wrapped an arm around his waist and directed him towards the exit, “you’re crashing at my place tonight. I’m not leaving you here when someone could literally tap beer out of you.”

“Yes!” He cheered. “I love your apartment, it smells like Christmas because of all the candles you have.” You hummed in acknowledgement at his drunk thoughts. “Hey, you know what’s really funny?” He didn’t wait for a response. “When I read your texts, I read it in an Australian accent because you’re from Australia. I do the same with Chris Hemsworth’s,” he told you then laughed to himself. “G'day mate,” he mimicked a tradition Australia greeting then laughed again.

“I’ve never once texted that to you, nor have I said that to you,” you chuckled. “And since when do I have an Australian accent? I’ve been living in America since I was eighteen, and you know I watch too much American television and too many Hollywood films to have an Australian accent.” The two of you found your way out of the party and into the much emptier parking lot where you car waited patiently. “But then again,” you glanced at him, “you are very wasted, so I won’t hold that against you.”

“Chuck a shrimp on the barbie,” he continued mocking the Australia accent and laughed when you did. “You’re right,” he returned to his normal accent as he pulled away from you, “you don’t sound like that.” He moved in front of you and took your hands in his, smiling like a love sick idiot which made your heart flutter despite knowing it didn’t mean what you wanted it to. “You sound perfect because you are perfect and I love you.”

“I love you too,” you responded with a chuckle, ignoring that ache in your heart. This wasn’t the first time he’d told you he loved you while he was drunk, in fact- he said it all the time when he was sober too. But it wasn’t the confession you longed for, it was just another platonic expression of affection that you shoved aside with your true feelings. “Let’s get you in bed, shall we?” You tried to pull your hands away only to have him tightened his grip.

“No,” he shook his head, furrowing his eyebrows. “You don’t understand, Y/N. I love you,” he said again in a more serious tone that made you sigh. As much as you wanted to reciprocate that feeling and kiss him, you couldn’t take anything he said seriously when he was drunk. Even if you did believe that drunk minds spoke for a sober heart, it was Chris; he was your best friend and you couldn’t ruin that friendship over a drunken slur of the moment. “I want to be with you,” he told you and pulled his hands away to cup your face.

“Chris, no,” you turned away when he started to lean in, taking a small step back. “We’re not going to do this.” You frowned when he did. “You’re drunk, I don’t want-” you cut yourself off before you said more than you should. “Let’s just go home, okay?” You brushed past him and headed for you car, stopping when he called out.

“I’m sober enough to have this conversation!” He walked in front of you with a frown on his face. “I’ve been trying to tell you I love you since the moment I met you, Y/N. But you keep brushing me off, like you think I’m not worth your time.”

“Chris-” you couldn’t believe you made him feel that way.

“Am I not good enough for you?” He asked then asked again before you could get a word in, “are you holding out for another doctor?” You opened your mouth to speak only to get cut off again, “what is it, Y/N? Why won’t you give me a chance?!” He growled and you flinched. “I don’t understand,” he shook his head, his pretty blues glistened with tears. “I’m not an idiot- I can see the way you look at me, so why won’t you be with me?”

“Chris,” you sighed as you took his hand in yours. “I didn’t know you felt that way about me, I honestly thought that you were fine with us just being friends.” He didn’t say anything, he just squeezed your hand ever so gently. “That’s why I didn’t say anything- that’s why I brushed you off. I figured you were joking, it’s not because I don’t think you’re worth my time.”

“Do you realize how long I’ve been waiting for you?” He asked with a breathless chuckle. “From the moment we met- I’ve wanted to be with you. I was just so terrified I wasn’t good enough, that you wouldn’t want to be with an actor so- I took it slow, I started out by being your friend. But God,” he started to cry and your heart ached, “it hurt seeing you with other people. It sucked saying I love you when you didn’t know how much,” his hand tightened around yours. “I’ve wasted so much of my life not being your other half and I hate it, Y/N.”

“You are my other half, Chris,” you caressed his face with your other hand and brushed the tears rolling down his cheek. “I love you too. I’m so in-love with you that it’s ridiculous,” you told him and he smiled. “There is no one I’d rather see at the end of the day than you. You are my person, you are all I see when I look towards the future,” you assured him. “I’m sorry I didn’t tell you sooner, I’m sorry-” He pulled you into his arms and kissed you, cutting you off in the best possible way.

“Wow,” you let out a breathless laugh when he broke the kiss, pressing his forehead against yours.

“Yeah,” he chuckled softly, rubbing small circles into your sides, “I should’ve done that years ago.”

Hey guys! I just wanted to put a disclaimer out here on this story, it is very angsty and deals with mature subject matter, it could possibly be a trigger warning. Thankyou so much!

It all started simple enough, it wasn’t supposed to end up like this. Hanging out with the gang, that was it. But then there was Betty Cooper

Kind, selfless, beautiful Betty Cooper who would rather die than see any living thing being tormented in any way. He should’ve noticed it, seen it in her eyes, the way her shoulders drew up and her breathing quickened. She was ready for a fight. And a fight she was going to get.

They had been eating, that’s all, just minding their own business, going over school work and laughing with their friends when all of a sudden the crash of a plate hitting the ground echoed through the barely full diner. Everyone’s eyes were drawn to Dilton Doiley now sitting on the ground covered in his own food, bleeding from his arm. He wasn’t alone. Surrounding him were the biggest high schoolers Jughead had ever seen, tattooed and muscled their faces so mean and rough, it was scary to even look. And then they kicked the poor boy laying on the ground.

They kicked Dilton so hard, he coughed himself into throwing up. Betty was up in a second flat, he never even had the chance to touch her, grab her arm. Keep her stuck in that seat. He would’ve done anything to keep her there.

“Stop! What’s wrong with you?! What are you doing?!” She shouted hysterically, moving to help Dilton but was quickly stopped by one of the bunch.

“Back off bitch, this isn’t your fight.” It was a group of six all equally staring Betty down with such venom Jughead thought me might throw up alongside Dilton. He saw her hands go up to her ponytail, tightening it.

Oh shit.

“It’s my fight now, this is my town, my diner, my friends.” She stood tall , not a shake to her body. Suddenly without any warning she was slapped across the face, completely knocking her to the ground. “I said mind your own business bitch.” The tallest one spoke spitting on the ground near Betty’s face.

He had hopped over the booth in a second flat, Archie and Kevin following close behind

As soon as he reached for the monster who had slapped Betty he was being pulled down by another two of the gang. Pinning him to the ground and using the heel of his boot, the one to his left kicked him hard in the cheek, splitting his lip. He vaguely heard the screams of Veronica and Cheryl and saw Archie and Kevin being held back.

“This your girlfriend?” The tallest one said shoving Betty’s face into the ground by jugheads head keeping his foot on her head, he couldn’t help but think that this asshole was getting dirt in her hair. He tried to catch her eyes, tried to tell her it was gonna be okay, he was here, they were gonna get out of this but he couldn’t find her eyes, he could only make out the light pink cardigan, they weren’t letting him move, suddenly he heard her yelp and the sound of skin hitting skin caused him to push up in the force holding him back. He caught a glimpse of the scene.

The man had Betty’s shirt almost all the way over her head and had punched her directly in her side. “You’ve gotta learn” he was saying, “you can come with us, pretty young thing like you, we’ve got space in our trailer, we could make good use of you.” The rest of the group laughed and jughead growled

“Oh your boyfriend looks jealous, why don’t we let him see a little more, hell who knows it might be the last time he gets to see this tight little body.” The man was trying to unbutton her jeans but she was wiggling too much. He gripped her face so tight, Jughead was sure he was gonna leave bruises “stop fucking around”

She looked the man dead in the eye and spit right in his face “fuck you.” He couldn’t help the swell of pride in his chest, she wasn’t going down without a fight. The mans face contorted into something Jughead had never seen before, he was so angry he was physically red

“You dumb..” his hands were around her neck squeezing and jughead thrashed, pushing against the men holding, “Betty! Get the hell off of her!” He was crying now he could see her choking.

It was all over before it began, the sound of police cars blared through the windows and he was released, watching Betty slip to the ground he breathed a sigh of relief, the gang tried to run but as soon as they made it to the door, pops was there, rifle in his hands and cellphone held up. The cops rammed through the door taking down each and everyone of the monsters. He looked up to see a flash of black and red fly past him.

“Betty! Somebody help! Please” Veronica was crying, thick streaks of black mascara running down her face and Cheryl was on her cellphone with who he presumed was a lawyer based on her declaration of “you’ll be representing Betty Cooper and I want you hereNOW!”

He looked up and saw Archie, holding his arm and helping a shaking Kevin up.

Suddenly snapping out of his daze he got up running to where Betty was laying. Shoving both Cheryl and Veronica out of the way he dropped to his knees. Betty’s eyes were open, tears streaming out, her eye completely swollen and the harsh red fingerprints sticking out on her smooth skin, she had her fingers on her throat,

“I can’t Breathe” she choked out her voice raspy and weak.

Jughead was crying now, she should never look this, ever. but here she was , broken and hurt. And he couldn’t stop it, he didn’t do anything to help her, he couldn’t.

She was reaching for him

“My side juggie, its…I can’t..” his hands instantly went to the lift her t shirt, her ribs were bruised beyond belief and that brought on a fresh round of tears. Suddenly she was being ushered away by a group of emts a man gently lifting her onto a stretcher. Veronica looked at Jughead, “I’m gonna go to the hospital with her okay, you stay here and answer the questions they have, but if I don’t see you by Betty’s side in an hour, I’ll lose it.”

Archie gripped his shoulder
“This was not your fault man, they were going to kill Dilton, Betty did what she does best, help people. you couldn’t have stopped it. You know that”

Shaking his head he went over to the officer to describe the attack, apparently these men have been on a rampage, they had put six students in critical care, ones still fighting for his life. They were going away for a long time.

And Betty did that.

She stuck up to those monsters and she got them put away. But how could he face her? He looked her in the eyes as they beat her. He couldn’t do anything, just watch. The voice of Kevin Keller broke him out of his thoughts.

“She needs you, I know you’re blaming yourself but Betty would kill you if she knew you were doing that, you jumped in, you put yourself at risk for her, she knows that, she’s probably feeling just as guilty as you are, so go to her. Now. before she overthinks herself into a coma.” Sheriff Keller came and quickly took his son away. He was a good dad.

Shit, Betty’s parents were away on a week long cruise for a journalism retreat. Betty literally was on her own.

Hopping into Archie’s car, he smiled weakly at his best friend, he was waiting for him, he knew he would come to his senses, turning the key Archie turned to Jughead , a huge smile on his face
“Alright jug, lets go get you your girl.”

He rolled his eyes. Alright then, let’s go get the girl.

***

Pulling into the hospital parking lot, Jughead ran out of the car, sliding into the waiting room, “Betty Cooper” he yelled to the general public
“I need to see Betty cooper.” Suddenly a nurse in light blue scrubs approached him “Betty Cooper is in recovery, from her chart I can see she’s fine , no internal bleeding. Just some fractured ribs and a whole lot of bruising. Unfortunately only family can see her right now, ms.lodge is the exception.”

Jughead shook his head
“No. no I have to see her, her family is all away, I’m what she has right now. I’m … I’m her boyfriend.”

The nurse looked at the panicked boy and felt herself smile, he clearly cared about the beautiful blonde. She could bend the rules just once.
“First door on your right.”

He started to run before turning back quickly “Thankyou, Thankyou so much”

Standing outside the door, he took a deep breathe, okay he was ready. Slamming open the door he felt like all the wind had been knocked out of him.
She looked so small in the huge white hospital bed, tubes sticking out of her arms, the purple Bruises marring her perfect face. He wanted to cry, but he wouldn’t she needed him to be strong.

“Well I’m going to get pudding, vanilla or chocolate b?” Veronica said gathering her wallet.

Betty’s eyes never left jugheads “chocolate” she smiled, she knew that was his favorite.

Eyeing Jughead with cautious eyes, Veronica walked out the door. As soon as the handles clicked shut he was by her side

“I’m sorry” they both said at the same time.

It was almost comical how similar their faces were in that moment.

“For what” they both said again almost synchronized.

Jughead finally took her hand cautious of the tubes “I let them do this to you, I couldn’t get away I tried so hard, I watched everything they did, everything they tried to do. I couldn’t even protect you.” She shook her head quickly,

“This is my fault I should have left it alone, I saw how they were acting, but.. they were gonna kill him. He’s so small, he couldn’t take much more” she choked out through watery eyes “and then you jumped in and they hit you. That’s my fault” her fingers went to touch his bloody lip. But he grabbed her hand pressing it into his chest, right over his heart.
“I would go through this a hundred times over to spare even one of those bruises on your face.”

She sniffled, smiling at him

“Were quite the pair aren’t we?”

He laughed softly, rubbing the soft skin of her cheek, careful of any bruises.

“I’m not letting you out of my sight now, I hope you know that.” Betty nodded
“I don’t wanna be anywhere but with you.” She whispered
“Good, because I’m not going anywhere.” He dropped his forehead to hers and closed his eyes.

Imagine Chris admitting he’s still in-love with you.

A/N: Lol, what’s a hiatus? This is based on Ed Sheeran’s ‘Happier’ in his new album ‘Divide’. First of all, I’m in-love with that album. If you haven’t heard it, go listen to it right now. Actually, listen to the song while you’re reading this. I promise that it’ll trigger all the feels in the world. I know I usually write happy stuff, but this song is too good not to write to so- here’s a little bit of angst for y'all. (Relax, it ends sweet.) Grab some tissues. X

“Why are you doing this to yourself, man?”

“I just have to see her, Scott,” Chris mumbled into the phone; his brother sighed on the other end. “This month has been terrible and-” he cut himself off with a shake of his head. “I just have to see her,” he repeated. “She’s the one person I want to see right now.”

“And she’s the one person that doesn’t want to see you right now, Chris,” he painfully reminded Chris; this time is was Chris’ turn to sigh. “You broke her heart, the least you can do is let her move on in peace. Don’t go to that bar, turn around and go home. You’re not going to feel better seeing her happy with someone else, just go home.”

There was a short moment of silence where Chris stopped and thought about what Scott was telling him. He knew himself and he knew was going to the bar anyway, but he thought about it. “Do you think I’m ever going to happy again?” He heard himself ask; he was doubtful without you in his life, but he could use a lie.

“Yes,” Scott answered. “Now go home, Chris.”

Chris hung up and continued down 29th and Park, ignoring both Scott’s advice and the better part of him. He made his way towards Carlson’s Bar where he knew you’d be supporting your best friend’s band, just like any other typical Friday night. His heart ached when he remembered that just a month ago, he was the one you took with you to Spencer’s show and now it was Nick; a co-worker that’d wasted no time to claim the opportunity of a lifetime that Chris so carelessly tossed aside. It was his fault, Chris knew that. He’d done quite a bit to hurt you in the three years you were together, he had thought he’d a lifetime to make it up to you; he didn’t. As much as you loved him, you couldn’t spend your entire life waiting on him to commit.

Chris turned the corner and stopped dead in his tracks; his blue eyes well with tears when he saw you in another’s arms. He was expecting it, but nothing could have braced his heart for what he laid eyes on. You were smiling, brighter than he’d seen in a while. Nick tightened his grip on you, whispering sweet nothings in your ear to make you laugh because there was no sound better than your laughter. Chris remembered when he used to do that, he used to be able to make you happy. He didn’t know when or why he stopped, he just knew it was the biggest mistake of his life. If he could go back, he would change everything so you’d be with him looking as happy- if not, happier than you were right now with Nick.

“Stop,” you laughed, squirming away from Nick’s clean shaven nuzzles. You tried not to let your smile falter when your heart reminded you of how Chris’ beard felt against your skin when he playfully nuzzled you. “Let’s go inside, it’s freezing out here.”

“Okay,” Nick smiled and pulled away from you to take your gloved hand.

You smiled as Nick held the door open for you. He was perfect, but it didn’t stop your mind from thinking of your Friday nights with Chris. It was never that simple with him, he always found a way to postpone joining the crowd because he preferred one on one time with you. He’d purposely walk slower or pretended he left something in his car so you’d have to turn back, only to find out that what he left was a kiss. As you walked inside, you found yourself remembering the way Chris would counter your “let’s go inside, it’s freezing out here” with a tighter hug that would “keep you warm, sweetheart.”

The more you thought about Chris, the worst you felt about being with Nick. It’d only been a month since you broke things off with him, how could be with someone else already? You spent three years with the man, the least you could’ve done was wait a little longer before you started to move on. Though it wasn’t likely that you were ever going to move on with anyone; Chris had ruined you for other men. If he had just shut up and committed, instead of making excuses and stalling- you’d be with him right now. You liked Nick, but your feelings for him were never going to compare with what you felt- still felt, despite how broken he left you- for Chris. He was the one for you, just as you were for him; the sad thing was he didn’t realize it until you walked out the door.

“I’m going to go grab a drink,” Nick told you and you nodded. “Do you want anything?” You shook your head; the last thing you needed was alcohol in your system. “Okay, I’ll be right back.” He gently squeezed your arm then disappeared into the crowd.

You scanned the room for familiar faces; it was the same group every Friday night. Spencer’s and yours mutual friends, as well as his other group of friends and his co-workers. It was always a good night, but it wasn’t until the first Friday night without Chris that you realized it was only always a good night because of him. You felt your vision blur as your heart wrenched in your chest; you really needed to get out of there.

The cold outside felt more inviting than the warm, slightly easing the emotional grief you’d been carrying on your shoulders since you broke up with Chris. The past month had been incredibly difficult for the both of you. The experience was about the same, neither of you liked living by yourself after living with each other for the past two years. It felt like a punch to your gut when you’d wake up without him by your side; the apartment you were now living in felt like it was constantly trying to suffocate you with isolation and loneliness. Every day, you’d wake up wondering if leaving him was the right thing to do. A month had passed and you still didn’t know if you were happier now, or happier with him.

“Y/N,” you heard Chris’ voice and you flinched. You shook your head, not wanting to turn around because there was no- “Y/N,” his hand wrapped around your wrist and he turned you around; you swallowed the urge to start crying.

“What are you doing here?” You asked, yanking your wrist out of his grip. You knew you’d break if he continued to touch you, you’d just melt right back into his arms despite everything he’d put you through. “We said clean break,” you reminded him.

“No.” He shook his head, his pretty blues glistened under the flickering street lights. “You said clean break, I told you I didn’t want to break up.” You turned away from him, taking slow, deep breaths; he didn’t need to see you cry.

“You didn’t want to commit either,” you bit as you turned back to him. “We were together for three years, Chris. We lived together for two. But still, whenever you were asked- you couldn’t admit you were in a relationship. You went out and partied like a bachelor, traveling the world like you had no one waiting on you at home.”

“Y/N, it was part-”

“It’s part of your job,” you cut him off. “Yeah, I know. That was always the excuse, wasn’t it?” Tears rolled down your cheeks and you quickly wiped them away. “I didn’t know being an actor meant you couldn’t be a boyfriend- that you couldn’t be a husband. But I do now, so- thank you, I’ll know better next time than to fall in-love with an actor.”

“I was just trying to protect you-”

“From what?” You scoffed. “From the media, from your fans? Newsflash, Chris- I knew what I was getting into when Captain freakin’ America asked me out. I didn’t need protection, I needed you to be proud to be in a relationship. I stood by you through everything; your work schedule, the distance, the tabloids and the rumors because- I loved and trusted you. But I guess all that wasn’t enough to be able to be Chris Evans’ girlfriend. You say you were protecting me, but you were just protecting yourself from commitment.”

“I know,” he nodded, agreeing with you for the first time. “I was stupid,” he said, taking your hands in his. “I wasn’t ready to settle down. I thought if I kept it from the media then- it wouldn’t be real and if we ever broke up- I wouldn’t have to deal with it. I thought if I could just get through my Marvel contract then- I don’t know, Y/N! I don’t know what I was thinking, I just-” He started to cry, making you cry. “I made a mistake, I was an idiot who didn’t know any better. But I do now, I am so in-love with you and I can’t- I can’t do this without you.”

“Am I meant to just forgive you?” You didn’t pull your hands away because you’d missed his touch. “You broke my heart, Chris,” you told him and he nodded in acknowledgment. “Do you know how much it sucked hearing people talk about how I was in a relationship with a man who couldn’t even admit he was taken? Do you know how much it hurt to see you with a fan who thinks it’s okay to get touchy because you’re apparently single? Do you realize how many of my friends’ weddings we’ve attended in our three years together? I can’t keep waiting for you to commit, Chris. I don’t want to,” you shook your head.

“I know, I’m sorry- I’m so sorry, Y/N. I just- I know how much I’ve hurt you, but I also know that no one is going to love you as much as I do. I made a mistake, that’s all- and I’m going to spend the rest of my life making it up to you. Just-” he pulled you into a tight hug, burying his face into the crook of your neck. “Please,” he begged, crying. “Please let me.”

“I’m with Nick,” you cried softly, fighting the urge to just hug him back. It broke your heart to see him like this, and God- you just wanted to kiss his sorrows away. “I’m with someone else, Chris.” You repeated and he started crying harder, clutching onto you like you were his oxygen. “I can’t-” you gently pushed Chris away, “it’s not fair on him.”

“I know,” he whispered, wiping his tears away with the back of his hand. “And it’s not fair on you either, you deserve better than me.” You tried not to cry at that. “Are you happier with him?” He asked and cupped your face in his hands, gently brushing your tears away.

“Yes,” you lied with a nod.

“Okay,” he managed a smile. “Just know that- If he breaks your heart, I’m going to be waiting right here for you.” You nodded, crying softly as Chris pressed a kiss against your forehead. “I’ll see you, Y/N.” He said as he reluctantly pulled his hands away.

You closed your eyes as he walked off into the night because you knew you’d run after him if you watched him leave. You’d rather be with Chris, everyone- including Nick, who had watched the whole thing go down from the inside- knew that. So why didn’t you go with him? Why were you so stubborn? Why didn’t Chris stay and fight for you? Nick didn’t get it, none of your friends watching did. Then, it was as though a jolt of lightning went off in both yours and Chris’ brains. You opened your eyes and started towards his direction, just as he turned around and ran back towards you. You met halfway and shared an embrace that ended in a kiss so passionate and deep that on lookers blushed.

“I’m happier with you,” you whispered when Chris broke the kiss, pressing his forehead against yours.

“And I’m only happy with you,” he responded then kissed you again, smiling. “Come with me to the premiere of Gifted,” he told you. “We’ll walk the carpet together, we’ll announce our engagement.” You felt your eyes narrow at that, but you couldn’t wipe the smile off your face; it was finally happening. “Just let me show you off to the world, let me tell everyone I’m taken.”

“But we’re not engaged,” you chuckled softly.

“Not yet,” he smiled. “The ring’s at home so I can’t-”

“Yes,” you nodded and his smile widened. “Yes, I’ll marry you.” You told him and he hugged you tightly, breathing you in. The engagement was long overdue, he wished he’d done it earlier so he didn’t cause you as much grief as he did but- he was happy things ended the way it did.

“I’m never letting you go again.”

“Me neither,” you agreed, smiling.

Tom Holland Imagine: Jealousy

Summary: You and Tom have a fight over his relationship with Zendaya

A/N: Hi bbies I wrote this with no prior plan and in one sitting so I’m very sorry if you don’t like it cause I was literally making up everything as I wrote it O.O

Warnings: fighting, harmful words

•••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••

I stared at my phone as yet another photo of Tom and Zendaya sitting awfully close appeared in my tagged photos on Instagram. The caption didn’t help how I felt.

“Tom and Z have been spending so much time together lately… does anyone know if he’s even still dating Y/N? She’s seems kind of irrelevant to him now… can’t blame him though lol”

I threw my phone on my bed and stormed out of the house. I needed air.

Tom stared at me in shock from the couch as he saw me storm past him.

“Y/N? Where are you going?”

“Out.”

“That’s not very specific… and it could be dangerous. Why don’t I go with you-”

“NO.”

Tom was caught off guard by my aggressive tone. He had never really seen me angry before. Our whole relationship was built off of trust so we were always honest with each other which lead to very few disagreements.

“Y/N, love, is everything alright?”

Tom’s sweet tone was all I needed to begin crying.

“No, nothing is alright. But it’s not like you care or notice. You spend all your time with fucking Zendaya.”

“Zendaya? Is that what this is about? You’re jealous? Love, she’s just a friend and a cast mate.”

“Don’t bullshit me, Tom. I’m not crazy and I’m certainly not stupid or blind. I’ve been in this situation before.”

“Y/N, nothing is going on with me and Zendaya! Don’t you trust me!?”

“I thought I did, Tom! But every single picture I see of you two, you’re basically on top of each other and you two spend an awful amount of alone time together. And don’t you think it’s a little bit odd that she takes you to meet all of her friends but doesn’t take Harrison, Jacob or Laura?”

“Harrison was sick and Jacob and Laura’s families were in town! That’s the only reason I was alone with Zendaya that day!”

“That still doesn’t explain why you two ALWAYS have to be next to each other in pictures and why she flew you and Harrison out to New York the other day!”

“Y/N, you’re overreacting. Please stop before this gets blown out of proportion.”

“Yeah, well, too late for that.”

And with that I was gone.

————

It had been days since I last spoke to Tom. I was staying at my friend Adam’s house. I knew this would probably come back to bite me considering Adam and I used to date, but Tom and everyone else knew we were strictly friends now.

“Y/N, I made some pancakes!”

“Alright, coming! You better have bacon as well!”

“Well of course!”

I giggled and opened Instagram. I noticed tons of Tom’s fans commenting on my pictures calling my things like “whore”, “slut” and and saying “kill yourself”.

I furrowed my eyebrows in confusion and saw I had been tagged in several pictures.

I opened them and saw pictures of Adam and I.

“Oh shit…”

There were pictures of me coming out of his apartment looking rather messy… but it was because I had just woken up!

And then there was a picture of us laughing and eating ice cream, and me with my head on his shoulder while we were sitting on a park bench and even one of him kissing my forehead while we were hugging…

I ran down the stairs and grabbed my purse.

“Adam, I have to go do something. I’ll be back.”

And with that, I was running down the street to Tom and I’s house.

I managed to cut the time it would normally take in half by running fast.

I knocked on the door and Harrison opened up.

“What the hell do you want?” He asked coldly.

“Look, it’s not what you think!”

“Oh isn’t it? Because it looks like you went out and cheated on my fucking best friend all because of some stupid idea you had running around in your goddamn mind!”

“I didn’t cheat on him! Can you please let me in? I need to talk to him!”

Harrison didn’t move so I pushed him out of the way.

“Y/N, stop!”

“No!”

I stormed through the house until I found Tom.

Oh god, I’m the worst person in the world…

The poor boy was curled up laying on the floor of our room. He was dressed in sweats and looked like he hadn’t slept in days. He was curled up in a blanket with disheveled hair and tissues laying around him from where he had been crying. He was staring at the wall with a blank expression.

“Tom? Sweetheart? Are you okay?”

“Why the hell are you here? To pack your things? Fine. Go ahead.”

I sighed and sat down next to Tom’s body. I pulled his head into my lap and began to run my fingers through his curls. Tom curled into me and began to sob hysterically.

“Why? Why would you do that to me? I never cheated on you with Zendaya. Never. She was helping me, okay? I-I wanted to give you a promise ring. I know we’re too young to get married, but I wanted you to know how much I love you. That’s why I was in New York. She was helping me pick out a ring, and she’s been helping me figure out how I was gonna ask you. And now you’ve gone and ruined everything we had.”

“Tom, I didn’t cheat on you. I know the pictures look that way, but I didn’t. Adam is the only person here I know. He was trying to make me feel better. You know Adam is one of my best friends. The kiss on the head was because I had just explained to him what had happened with us. Coming out of his apartment looking awful was because I hadn’t left the couch in 2 days, and the ice cream was because you of all people should know that nothing makes me feel better than a scoop of cookies and cream ice cream. I would never do that to you, Tom. I love you.”

Tom sniffled and pulled away to look up at me. I ran my hand down the side of his cheek and he pressed his face into it.

“I love you, too. I’m so sorry I abandoned you so much for Zendaya. And I’m sorry I assumed you would cheat on me without hearing you out. I should’ve put everything together…”

“You’re not wrong here at all, Tom. I am. I shouldn’t have stormed out like that but you know how I am. I always need time to cool off or I end up saying really harmful things that I don’t mean. And all your fans were saying you two were together and I just, I got paranoid because I’m terrified of losing you.”

“I’m terrified of losing you, too. God, when I saw those picture of you and Adam…”

“I know, baby. But I’m here. I want you. Not Adam. Now… what was that about a ring?”

Tom smiles and gets up from the floor. He walks over to our dresser and pulls out a box from one of his jean pockets.

“This wasn’t how we had planned it…”

“How did you plan it then? I’ll close my eyes and pretend I’m there.”

Tom walks back over to me and sits across from me. He takes my hands in his larger ones and I close my eyes as he begins.

“Bella Notte playing in the background, because I know how much you love Lady and the Tramp, we’re walking across your favorite bridge in the park after we’ve just watched the sun go down and had a picnic of pizza and chocolate covered strawberries because they’re your favorite… we’re standing on the bridge that Harrison and I covered in fairy lights… we’re standing under the stars… I get down on one knee in front of you and hold your hand… I say to you, ‘Y/F/N, you are the best thing that’s ever happened to me. I have loved you since I first laid my eyes on you in that coffee shop. I still remember hearing All of the Stars by Ed Sheeran playing in the background. Everything felt like slow motion and I knew in that moment that you were the love of my life. And then you fell in love with me. And I intend on working everyday to be worthy of your love. We’re only 20, so this isn’t a proposal… entirely. But I want you to know that my love for you is real. So I bought you this promise ring, so that you know that one day I’m going to come home and tell you that it’s time. And then I’ll have the greatest honor of all time by making you Mrs. Y/N Holland. Will you accept my promise?”

I was crying my eyes out at Tom’s speech that I could barely squeak out a yes before I jumped into his arms and peppered his face with kisses. Tom smiled and kissed me. When he pulled away he opened the box the reveal the most beautiful diamond ring I had ever seen. Tom slid the ring in to my finger and kissed me lovingly again.

“Well, wasn’t that lovely!”

Tom and I turned to see Harrison standing in the doorway holding up his phone, filming us.

“I can’t wait to send this to Zendaya!”

“Harrison! Why do you always have to ruin the best moments in my life!”

Dean pushed the motel room door open to find you exactly where he left you. You had refused to participate in the hunt the boys were currently working because it hit too close to home. You also had no fucking desire to talk about it with either of the Winchesters but especially Dean.

“There are locks on motel room doors for a reason, asshats,” you grumbled, turning over in the bed and facing away from the brothers. You caught a glimpse of Sam’s face, and he looked guilty, like he actually felt bad for breaking into your room.

Dean on the other hand just looked angry. You didn’t owe him any kind of an explanation. If you wanted to sit out a hunt, it was your damn prerogative.

“Sammy, I got this,” Dean said through clenched teeth. You could briefly hear Sam protest, but you were sure Dean had given him a look that could kill because you heard the younger Winchester’s response.

“Fine,” he huffed stepping away and heading back to the room the boys were sharing.

Dean closed the door with a thud.

“Y/N,” he began, his voice low and irritated.

“I swear to god, Dean, I don’t want to talk about it. Especially not with you. You push this, and I might literally rip your nut sack off. Right off,” you motioned with your hand without turning to look at him. You felt a tear escape your eye, and you hurried to wipe it away.

“First off all, rude. Second of all, I know you,” he growled low in his throat. “Hunts don’t bother you. Even the awful ones that remind you of how you lost your family. You’re tough as nails. You push everything down and power on. You’re a pro. I’d almost say you’re better at pushing away emotions than I am, and we both know that’s saying something.”

“You got that fucking right,” you huffed as you turned away from him again, tears steadily streaming down your face now. “Did you at least finish off the fucker?” you asked, hoping this hunt was over so that you could move on and get back to yourself without having to talk about it.

He sat down on the bed next to yours and watched you carefully.

“The Djinn is dead,” he stated. “Now are you gonna talk about this or what? You never refuse to go on a hunt. Ever. What the hell is going on?”

You sat up then, throwing your legs over the bed, the tear stains on your face evident. Dean was clearly taken aback. He rubbed his neck and looked away briefly before locking eyes with yours and pushing forward.

“Let’s talk about it. Clearly you need to, sweetheart,” he said, his voice suddenly softer now.

You scoffed and rolled your eyes. “Don’t placate me Dean. And don’t call me sweetheart,” you growled, finally meeting his eyes.

“What’s going on?” he pleaded, leaning forward, his forearms on his knees. “Is this about when you were captured by a Djinn, and we couldn’t find you for a few days? You never talked about that, but I had never seen you so scared,” Dean commented. “But you never let a monster getting a hold of you phase you. Ever,” Dean said dismissively.

You swallowed thickly and locked eyes with him. “When that monster takes away the person you love over and over again, you aren’t too keen on facing one of its kind again.” The words stumbled out of your mouth.

“Djinn don’t work like that. I remember. You get your wildest dreams,” Dean stated, confused.

“Not the one that had me. Fear. It fed on fear. And apparently my biggest fear is losing you. I watched you die over and over again those few days I was alone, waiting,” tears fell down your cheeks in earnest.

“Wait. What?” Dean asked, confused. “I don’t understand,” he mumbled, fidgeting with his pants because he didn’t know what else to do.

“I fucking love you, Dean, but don’t figure it out from the context clues or anything,” you huffed, pulling your knees up to your chest and sobbing. “I couldn’t risk getting taken again. Fears or the best dream ever, it would have involved you,” you admitted, looking into his eyes. “I couldn’t lose you over and over again,” you powered on. “And I couldn’t have you in the best way possible only to have it ripped away when you came to my rescue,” you sobbed.

Dean’s legs moved quickly, and he sat down beside you. He wrapped his arms around you tightly, and you fell into him. You cried. You cried for what felt like hours while Dean ran his fingers through your hair and rubbed your back soothingly.

“I didn’t know,” he mumbled. It was then that you realized Dean had been crying too. “I had no fucking clue,” he whispered as you pulled away to look into his eyes. Your eyes met for a brief second before his lips crashed to yours. You clung to him, the kiss desperate and deep, your tears mixing with his. He pulled away finally and whispered, “I’m so, so sorry.”

His hand cupped your face and you didn’t jerk away from his touch.

“I’ve always loved you, but you deserve better than me,” he said.

You laughed as you sobbed. “I may ‘deserve’ better, Dean, but you’re what I want. Obviously. Dreams and fears don’t lie,” you whispered as you looked into his eyes.

His eyes darted back and forth as he searched yours. His lips found yours again, this kiss tender and full of promise. “I love you,” he whispered against your lips. “And I’m going to my best to make sure your dreams aren’t torn away from you again and that your fears are never realized,” he promised, his forehead falling against yours.

“Dean, don’t make promises you can’t keep,” you answered, your hand moving to his neck and pulling him into a kiss. You felt him start to protest, but he melted into your touch.

You didn’t doubt he could make your dreams come true, but staying alive wasn’t exactly Dean Winchester’s forte.

And he had the Mark of Cain.

You knew that couldn’t end well for either of you.

That Drink

He slowly reached out and touched the hair framing her face.

“It suits you.”

Clarke smiled a little at his awed tone and lightly touched the frame of his glasses.

“It suits you, too.”

Bellamy Blake x Reader

Prompt: “Just smile. I really need to see you smile right now.”

Warnings: none; just some Bellamy fluff

It had been a long and stressful day for everyone. The impending fear of the Grounder army attacking lingered in everyone’s minds. Building the wall took a lot more work than everyone thought. Everyday they added more security and built secret tunnels.

Everyone had jobs to do. Hunting, collecting food like fruits and vegetables, collecting clean water to drink, creating rations. You were in charge of portioning food into rations for the hundred delinquents you were forced to live amongst.

Two of the idiot teenagers got into a fight and ended up knocking the whole table over you were bagging the food on, more than half of it going to waste.

“You fucking idiots, now you get to work overtime collecting food for the percent of us that don’t get to fucking eat!” John Murphy had screamed at them and sent them out the gates.

You sighed loudly and spent the next hour picking up the mess and washing off the food that could be salvaged. By that time it was Monty and Jasper’s turn to take your place.

You walked over to where laundry was done, your clothes hanging in sight that you couldn’t wait to change into. When you walked over, you noticed your clothes were still dripping wet. “Sorry, (Y/N). Water was low today and I just got to it,” Monroe gave you an apologetic smile. Even though you felt annoyance burning in your chest, you gave Monroe a tight smile and thanked her anyway.

You decided you needed a nice walk away from the people getting under your skin the most. You walked out the gates, ignoring Murphy who was calling for you to stay at camp. He wasn’t the boss of you. You felt into your holster on your thigh and made sure your knives were secure before venturing off father into the forest.

It was probably a bad idea for you to go on your own after all of the drama with the Grounders but you had no desire to be around anyone in that moment. At one point, while you were distracted looking up at the changing leaves on the trees, you stepped on a root. Your ankle rolled painfully under your weight and you cried out as you fell to the ground, your elbows skinning along the dirt as you went down.

Cursing yourself, you rolled over and grabbed onto your throbbing ankle. Angry and frustrated tears built in your eyes as you pulled yourself on the tree that sent you into the dirt. You started limping your way back to camp, gingerly rubbing your bleeding forearms to try and get the mud off.

The sound of someone clearing their throat caused you to stop short and look up, keeping your weight off your injured ankle. Standing before you was your boyfriend, Bellamy, an unamused look painted on his face. He wanted to scold you for coming out alone so bad but when he saw you limping and bleeding he couldn’t find the words. He simply sighed.

“Just smile,” you blurted out, the tears you’d wanted to let out all day finally escaping your eyes. “I really need to see you smile right now.”

Bellamy instantly stepped forward and enveloped you into his arms. Allowing you to cry on his shoulder and rant about the misfortunes of the day. He kissed your forehead and when you were finally done crying, he gave you a loving kiss on the lips.

“Lets go get you cleaned up then we can curl up for a nap, yeah?” Bellamy whispered and brushed the stray hairs that had slipped from your ponytail away from your face.

You sniffled and leaned into the older male’s rough yet soft touch, nodding your head slightly. Before you knew it, Bellamy was swooping you off of your feet and carrying you bridal style back to camp. The brunette whispered compliments into your ear, some of them inappropriate that made you giggle. You couldn’t wait to be curled up in bed, falling asleep to the sound of Bellamy’s heartbeat in your ears.

Imagine breaking up with Chris.

A/N: Just wanted to test my limits as a writer and write some angst.

You sat outside Chris’ house in a cab, terrified to go inside. The air inside had been thick with an impending tragedy since the morning; though the inhabitants could sense it, neither were ready to face it. Up until a few days ago, you’d never imagine you’d associate the feelings of fear and angst with Chris. It was unbeknownst to you, how a man you swore you saw the rest of your life with could bring forth such unwanted emotions. He was a good man, one of the best people you’d ever encounter in your lifetime. What you felt had nothing to do with him as a person; it wasn’t a reflection of your time together; and it didn’t tarnish the good feelings and wonderful memories you’d procured over three years. There was no explanation as to why a relationship everyone had expected to make all the way to a pretty white chapel was coming to an end. Sometimes things just didn’t work out, sometimes two people weren’t meant to be together despite how perfect they seemed for each other. It was unfair, but that was the odious reality.

Earlier, at 7:48PM, when Chris returned home from the gym to find his house without your presence, he knew you were attempting to prolong your workday in order to avoid the confrontation. He, too, wanted to avoid it; of all the things he’d give to be as far from it, his privacy was one of them. As he waited for your inevitable return, he’d found himself wishing he was on a press tour because he’d rather be with invasive journalists than in the same house with the girl he loved but had no future with. He felt terrible when he realized it was relief surging through him when he walked in to see you hadn’t returned from work yet. He didn’t understand what went wrong, he was so sure you’d been on the same path as him. And why wouldn’t he have been? You’d always been adamant about what you wanted in a relationship; how marriage and kids were part of your eventual plan. You told him when you first met him at twenty-three that twenty-six was the golden age for all of that. So why was it that when he asked you to marry him three days ago, you hesitated.

The diamond ring felt heavy on your finger as you lifted your left hand to grab your change from the cab driver. You got out of the cab and watched it drive away before you took carefully measured steps towards the front door. You felt like a soldier cautiously approaching the enemy’s base. Even with your guard up, you weren’t ready for the battle awaiting you. Your hands were as cold as the metal key you pulled out from your bag; your stomach twisted and turned like the mechanisms in the lock; and your heart skipped a beat that would’ve been as loud as the click when you successfully unlocked the front door. With a deep breath, you quietly pushed open the door and walked into the house.

Like every other night when you returned home from work, Dodger was waiting for you. However, tonight, his tail wasn’t wagging. It was almost as though he knew this was the last time he was going to get to welcome you home and it broke your heart to see his furry face so heavy with sadness. You slipped off your heels, scanning the vicinity for Chris as you gave Dodger’s head a quick pat. The house was unusually quiet, for you to come home to silence when Chris wasn’t working wasn’t something you were used to. He always had something going, whether it was the TV or music. He was definitely home because his car was in the driveway, so where was he? You wandered further into the house, turning to look down the hallway where the master bedroom waited at the end.

“Hey.”

Your whole body flinched when you heard his voice. You turned and found him sitting in the dimly lit kitchen with a beer in his hand. He managed a small smile which you mirrored before dropping your gaze to the ground. You felt numb as your heart ached in your chest. You didn’t want to do this, you didn’t want to lose him. What was your life going to be like without him in it? What kind of misery were you going to suffer if you saw him with someone else? You didn’t want to think about it, but you had to. You were being selfish if you didn’t. You weren’t ready to live the life he wanted and if you forced yourself into it, it would only end in divorce. Right now, you weren’t married and you didn’t have kids; the collateral damage would be less if you left now.

“We need to talk, don’t we?” You asked in a voice so soft and feeble neither recognized it.

Chris’ heart ached hearing how the relationship had reduced you. Did he do that? Did he turn the strongest person he knew weak? He could feel how lost you were when he asked you to marry him. That pause you took before you utter the word “yes,” told him everything he needed to know. You didn’t say yes for yourself, you said it because of him. You loved him enough to help move his plans forward, even if that meant derailing your own. But that kind of love wasn’t going to last forever, he couldn’t have you resent him in the future because you didn’t do what was right for yourself. You were going to be better off with someone else, someone who had a plan similar to yours. The timing wasn’t right, and that was the awful thing about love- it was all about the timing. He loved you deeply and if it were his choice, he’d spend the rest of his life with you. But it wasn’t, so if you wanted to go- he was going to let you go.

“Yeah,” he felt himself nod.

There was a long, painfully deafening pause. You looked up from your feet and met his gaze; both simultaneously teared up. “Can we not?” You asked, trying your utmost best not to break down and cry. He didn’t need to see you cry; likewise, you didn’t need to see him cry.

“Yeah,” he felt himself nod again. “Have you had dinner?” He asked and you shook your head. “You good with spaghetti?” He asked and you nodded. It was like you couldn’t speak because you knew if you did, your voice would shake and you’d break down crying. “I made it while I was waiting for you, I was hoping we could have dinner together.” It was unsaid: “for the last time,” but it was there.

You sat in the bar stool adjacent to his and brushed your thumb over the diamond ring that wouldn’t be there in the morning while he plated. Neither really saw the point of pretending like you had an appetite, but it was a charade that helped slow the painful realization that it was over from reaching your hearts. “Thanks,” you mumbled when Chris placed a plate of spaghetti down in front of you. He placed his down in front of him then grabbed cutlery to distribute between the two of you before taking his seat.

The two of you managed a few mouthfuls- Chris one more than you, before reducing to just poking at the food. Chris didn’t know what to say. This was easily one of the hardest breakups he’d ever endured, mainly because he was so sure about you being the one. What if he offered to wait? Would you stay if he took back his proposal until you were ready? He couldn’t lose you, just the idea of waking up tomorrow to find that ring on your bedside table and his house emptied of your things stopped him from breathing.

“If I take it back,” Chris began and you looked up from your plate, “will you stay?” Your eyes quickly filled with tears, falling over the edge and rolling down your cheeks. Chris started to weep himself, “if you’re not ready to get married, I can take it back.” His tone was started to get frantic because he was afraid he’d never see you again after tonight. “We don’t have to get married, okay? I don’t need to have kids right now, I can wait. Please just-” He reached across and caressed your face in his hand. “Don’t quit me, Y/N.”

“I don’t want to,” you admitted as you started to cry. “I don’t want to, Chris.” You wrapped your hand around his wrist and he got off his chair to wrap you into a tight hug. He could tell from your tone that you’d made a decision he couldn’t sway you from. “But I might never be ready.” He closed his eyes, squeezing the tears from his corners as he pressed his lips to the top of your head. “I’m so sorry.” It was over, there was nothing up for negotiation; what was shattered was unfixable. You weren’t the girl for him, the run was over.

“Me too,” he whispered into your hair then drew back, brushing your tears with the back of his hand. “Will you at least stay the night? I don’t want to sleep alone tonight,” he admitted, earning a nod from you. “No,” he shook his head when he saw you’d started to take off the engagement ring he’d bought for you. “That’s- I got it because I believed it belonged on your finger.” You left it, getting to your feet and wrapping both arms tight around his neck. You started to sob the second he hugged you back. “It’s okay, we’re going to be okay.”

“I love you so much, Chris,” you choked out, cupping his face in your hands.

“I love you too, Y/N,” he managed a smile through his tears. “I just wish that wasn’t the only thing we had in common.” You buried your face back in his chest, hugging him tightly. “Promise me something,” he began then continued when he felt you nod, “don’t settle for less than you deserve.”

“Only if you promise me the same thing.”

That night, you slept in Chris’ arms for the last time. And in the morning, before the sun reached its peak, you pressed a soft goodbye kiss on his lips. You slipped downstairs and kissed Dodger goodbye too before leaving the house you’d called a home for two years. Your things would be retrieved later, on a day he’d promised he wouldn’t be home for. You hoped he’d keep to his promise after he woke and saw what you’d left on his bedside table.

Chris woke a few minutes after your cab pulled out of his driveway. “Y/N?” He rubbed his bleary eyes as he propped himself up on his elbows. “Y/N, are you-” He was cut off by the glistened of your diamond ring, sitting on top of a small notecard; they patiently waited for his attention. He had expected this, but he was still unprepared. His tired, puffy eyes started to weep again when he saw that one simple word in your handwriting: “Goodbye.”

She knew.

She sat in front of him, holding her fingers and staring down at them with furrowed brows as if they might give her the words she needed to say.

He knew she saw the gashes this morning on his shoulder, on his side. Not the kind of thing you acquire when working as a lawyer. He should have been more careful.

She sat in the chair opposite his desk as if she were a client. As if she were trying to distance herself from him. The thought made Matt start to panic, he swallowed and shifted his feet. She wasn’t saying anything. All Matt wanted was for her to talk. He didn’t know what he wanted or needed her to say, but just something would be better than the suffocating silence they currently sat in. Anything to make him feel like he wasn’t going watch her walk out the door and never come back.

Anything to make him feel like she didn’t… hate him. For what he hid from her. For what he does. For who he is.

.

“I-” you paused. It was one word but it didn’t feel right. This whole situation didn’t feel right. You glanced up at Matt, you knew he was anxious. You could hear his shoes shifting, his throat bobbed as he tried to calm himself. His hands sat in his lap, one thumb brushing quickly over the other in nervous rhythm. You hadn’t told him why you wanted to talk with him alone in his office, but you guessed from the tension in his face that he had a pretty good idea.

.

Matt was getting dressed for work when you saw the gash on his shoulder. He faced away from you as he took off a black short sleeved tee. Obviously your eyes drifted up from your book to watch the lean muscles of his back ripple with movement. He winced as he turned to slip on a sky blue shirt, dropping his shoulder slightly put the wound in clear view, another one creeping around the side of his torso. They looked to be a week old at most. Your heart sped up, your eyes widened. Your mind was bombarded with a stream of questions. How did he even get that? Who did this to him? How was he even in a position to- what was he doing- where was he- How could he- what was he thinking he-

And then it dawned on you.

You’d seen the newspapers, the tv spots, you remember feeling a sense of familiarity staring at you in the face as you watched the footage.

You had been following the articles and even talking with Matt over breakfast about how the impact of having a vigilante in Hell’s Kitchen would have a serious effect on the crime rate, hopefully a good effect. Matt never had much to say. More than once he had changed the subject to something more lighthearted. You just let it go, thinking that it probably didn’t sit right with him that someone was taking the law and justice into their own hands…

But…

The roughness of his hands… the strength in them. The nights where you would wake up reaching for him only to see the other side of the bed empty and cold. The little bruises and cuts where he ‘walked into things’.

It was a big jump to make. Massive in fact. You backtracked for a second, you needed proof before you could even consider listening to your minds paranoid ramblings. But that didn’t stop your breathing from picking up. That didn’t stop the ‘what ifs’ from plaguing your thoughts. They piled up on top of each other so fast that you felt like you might not be able to take another breath.

Matt’s head turned as he buttoned up his shirt.

“Are you okay? You seem awfully quiet this morning.”

“Fine!” you chirped. A little too quick to be genuine. Too quick for Matt to ignore. Matt paused in reaching for his tie.

“You sure?”

“Absolutely. Just excited to start the day!” You flung the sheets off of you exposing your bare legs. Wearing only a large grey tee you jumped out of bed and swung around to throw your arms over his shoulders, narrowly avoiding the wound.

Running your fingers through the tiny hairs at the nape of his neck, he slid his hands up under your tee, lifting it high enough for you to feel a light breeze on your backside. He wrapped his hands around either side of your waist and began running his thumbs up and down the small of your back. “I’m excited for every day that I get to start with you.”

Whatever tension there was in Matt’s frame dissipated. He smiled wide, leaning his head slightly to the side. “You’re full of cheese.”

You shrugged. “What can I say? It’s a talent. Maybe I should start classes. Could save up some money and get myself a plaque. ‘Y/N, Master of Cheesery’”

Matt snorted and slid his arms all the way around you, pulling you as close as he could. You had to rise to your tiptoes to fold your arms behind his neck, leaning your cheek against his. Your bodies molded together and he hummed once in content as he swayed the two of you from side to side. Dancing to no music. “I wish I didn’t have to go in today. Foggy needs me to go over this case one more time before tomorrow. I can think of a few things we could do right here that would be much more fun.” He sighed out his nose. You held on a little tighter, you didn’t know if you wanted to uncork this bottle. But you knew that you needed to.

“I’m gonna drop by at lunchtime.”

Matt nodded and turned to kiss your cheek twice. He pulled away reluctantly and let your arms drop to your side. Picking up his jacket from the bed he made his way through the living room and towards the front door. You trailed behind him, gripping your fingers tight behind you. Matt opened the door and turned around to you leaning against the doorframe. “We can talk about some stuff.” he raised his eyebrows.

“Stuff?”

“You focus on your case for now. I don’t want to distract you. We’ll talk when I come in.” You leaned in and pressed a kiss to his lips. He left with a small frown on his face.

.

It had taken a lot of digging. A lot of thinking like someone who wanted to desperately hide something. Finally you found your proof, tucked away in his father’s box. The mask that he wore to his nightly endeavours. The Devil of Hell’s Kitchen’s mask.

After giving yourself some time to cry, to scream, to punish yourself for not seeing it sooner, you got up, got dressed, put the red mask in your bag and left the apartment to meet Matt. To have a conversation you weren’t sure you were prepared for.

.

And here you are. Sitting in his office trying to find the right words to begin with. None of them seemed to suffice. This was Matt, why couldn’t you just talk to him?

You stood up suddenly and turned towards the door to close the blackout blind that hung from it. Then you walked behind Matt to close the blinds on the windows. It left the room dark so you switched on his desk lamp and instead of sitting down on the chair you perched on his desk next to where he sat so you were facing the wall to his back. Instead of looking at him, you stared unseeingly at the strings on the blinds.

You took a deep breath. You reached into your bag and held the mask just behind him.

“Matt, I know about your night job.” You said firmly and put the mask on the desk in front of him. He reached out and ran his fingertips over one of the pointed tips for a mere second before pulling his hands back to his lap.

He remained silent.

“I’m not mad. I just- I’m.. worried.” your breath hitched, “I’m scared, Matt.” your bottom lip trembled making you reach up with both hands to cover your face.

Matt’s hands stopped twitching and instead gripped tight, his shoulders tensed and his face screamed how much he didn’t want to have this discussion.

“You don’t need to be scared of me.” He muttered in a low but steady voice. Dropping your hands and swinging your head round to him, you scooched up along his desk to sit in front of him, your legs hanging down either side of his. You brought your hands to his cheeks. Cradling the hurt you saw on his face. The disappointment, not at you but in himself. You could feel the muscles in his jaw tense.

“Matty-” your voice caught, and Matt almost flinched at the noise. Clearing your throat you tried again. “Matty, I’m not scared of you. I’m scared for you.” Matt’s eyebrows twitched together, so you slid your hand down to just above his shoulder, where you both knew the tightly stitched wound sat. “This, is a big deal. Did you think I would be okay with you coming home with giant cuts on your body? God forbid I wake up in the morning to see you bleeding out on the couch-” you bit your lip and looked away, trying to pull yourself together. You needed to be a little bit stronger, just enough to deal with this.

Matt tentatively put his hand on your knee.

“Y/N, I’ve trained for this. I was trained from a young age to fight like this and it’s something I’ve known how to do for a long time. I’m not just some billionaire thinking he can make a suit, fight crime and take on the world all in the same day. I’m going to do better. I’m making this city a safe place. My city. Ours.” He took your hands in both of his and rested them on your knees.

He licked his lips and shifted in his chair, you could see he wanted you to believe him, to trust him, to.. accept him. “I’m sorry I kept this from you. Part of me is saying I should let you go to protect you from this, from the people who might want to use you against me if they found out what you mean to me. I couldn’t-” he swallowed, “I won’t let that happen. I can’t lose you. You’re the reason I can do this and still smile everyday, not hate myself for keeping this a secret from almost everyone I know. I love you.” he paused, gripping your hands slightly tighter for a second before leaning back in his chair a little. “But I understand if you can’t cope with this. You don’t have to say anything if you don’t want to, you can walk out that door and I won’t stop you.”

You were quiet. You just looked at his face and all it’s features as your hands warmed between his. You could see how much he didn’t want you to leave, but you knew that he would let you go if you wanted to. You knew he was genuinely sorry, but he had reason to keep it all from you. He was trying to do the right thing. Not just for him or you but for the whole city.

Make a decision. A little voice in the back of your mind prompted you. And you did.

You slid off the desk and into his lap, he pulled your joined hands up to give you room, but didn’t let go. Not quite ready to release you just yet. His face remained set. You smiled at him, just a small slightly wobbly curve of your lips.

“I love you too, Matt. But-” you could see his brows wobble a touch. You squeezed his hands before releasing them then took off his glasses and put them behind you on the desk. You wanted to see his eyes. You slid your hands back over his, threading your fingers together.

“I’m not leaving you.” You had to reassure him first. His shoulders dropped the heavy weight on them and he leaned his forehead against yours. His breath hitched slightly as he tried not to cry in relief. You almost burst into tears at the sound, instead a few dripped down your cheeks and hit your joined hands.

“You need to tell me everything. And I mean every little minute detail that occurs, I don’t want the highlights.” He nodded lightly. “and you’re gonna teach me how to fight.” His head shot up. “You’re not coming with me. It’s too dangerous.”

You snorted. “of course not, but if you’re worried about me being a target then I need to learn how to defend myself. I need to show these guys that my badass boyfriend isn’t the only one who can handle himself. The Master of Cheesery can pack a punch too.” You held up an arm to flex your muscles and pulled a strained face.

Matt grinned as he brushed away the fallen tears and pinched your flexing ‘muscles’, “That means you’re gonna have to actually get out of bed in the morning and you know, exercise.”

Your pursed your lips and rolled your eyes. “The things I do for you, Matt.”

He swallowed. “I know. Thank you.” He leaned in to kiss you, but you pulled back and put a finger on his lips. “Uh-uh. You’ve got some serious ass-kissing to do Matt-Matt.”

“What?” came his muffled reply, his lips squished behind your finger.

“You’ve been keeping something from me for God knows how long. You’re gonna have to make it up to me, your loyal and forgiving girlfriend. Starting with dinner and later listening to Stephen Fry read Sherlock Holmes on audiobook. With blankets. And malteasers. And kitkats.” Matt kissed your finger twice in quick succession.

“Anything.” He said sincerely. He would do anything for you. You smiled as you replaced your finger with your lips, brushing them over his in a soft kiss.

You made your way to your desk and threw your jacket over the back of your chair.  You had a rough night last night with your boyfriend, Alex.  You had been together for almost two years.  At first he was loving, kind, and caring, but as the months went on he became more aggressive and more hurtful.  Instead of kissing you and taking you on dates, he would insult you and belittle anything you did.  These past few weeks he’d been more physical and you weren’t sure what to do about it.  You knew if your team found out, things would only become more of a hassle for you.  You didn’t want to answer questions and have them pester you on the matter.  You were going to think of a way out, even if it was on your own.  You didn’t want your team to think that you couldn’t handle it.  You fought off bad guys all the time, so this should be no different, right?

Your team was on a case where a Petty Officer was found dead on his ex-wife’s kitchen floor.  The husband and wife had been married for 10 years and he just got back from his last tour.  He was a respectable man and he seemed to be loved, except for the fact that one person didn’t love him enough to not kill him; his wife.  You were the one with the lead, but ultimately Abby pulled through and proved your hunch.  However, you still had to get her confession, so you weren’t done just yet.

BTS - Reaction to You Crying After They Surprise You

Seokjin:
Jin was his normal handsome and smiley self when you first walked into your shared apartment and saw him sitting on the couch. However, when you started sobbing after seeing him he rushed forward to comfort you.
“It is okay Jagi, I missed you too.” He said wrapping his arms around you while you cried into his chest.

Yoongi:
When Yoongi texted you and asked you to make sure that he didn’t leave his favorite hoodie at the studio, you did not expect him to be standing outside. You saw his gummy smile as you pulled up and ran into his arms when you got out of the car. It had only been three weeks but you missed him so much. “Did I surprise you Jagi?” he said softly into your ear. You responded by nodding since you couldn’t say anything due to the fact that you broke out in tears.
“I love you Min Yoongi!” You mumbled.
He pulled back and kissed your forehead softly. “I love you too Y/N.”

Hoseok:
When you woke up, the smell of food greeted your nose. That is odd. You walked out into the kitchen and saw Hobi standing over the stove. “Jagi!” You said excitedly and ran over to hug him as he was turning to respond to you. “Ta da!” He said wrapping his arms around you. “I had the chance to visit for a few days so I thought that I would make you breakfast in bed to wake you up, it looks like you beat me to it though.” You were so overwhelmed that you started crying “Hobi.. this is too sweet.” He giggled and tightened his hold on you as he stroked your head. “Don’t cry Y/N, we have to eat.”

Namjoon:
You returned home from a long day of work earlier than usual. You planned on eating dinner by yourself and watching a few episodes of a drama before going to bed at a decent time. That all changed when you notice Namjoon’s shoes to the side of the front door. Excitement filled your chest as you looked around the house for him. You finally made your way to your bedroom and found him unpacking some things. “Joonie!” You exclaimed as you hugged him from behind. “I’m home for a bit baby,” he said moving so that he could hug you from the front. As you looked up to meet his eyes you noticed that you were crying. He wiped the tears from your cheeks as he kissed you softly. “Don’t cry Y/N,” he said as he pulled you into his chest. “I got you.”

Jimin:
It was the middle of the night when you were woken up by being spooned in Jimin’s arms. “Hi Jagi, do you mind?” You turned so you could face his smiling face. Still not fully awake you asked, “Are you really here? I’m not dreaming.” He gave you a sweet kiss and then said, “did that feel real.” As he noticed that you were crying he pulled you closer. “Awe Y/N, don’t cry. I’ll sing you back to sleep.”

Taehyung:
You were sitting in your desk at work waiting for your coworker to bring you coffee from their daily coffee run. Someone placed a cup of coffee on your desk and you heard a familiar voice saying, “Delivery for a miss Y/L/N.” You immediately looked up and were greeted by your boyfriend Taehyung’s dorky smirk. “Tae! What are you doing here?” You exclaimed as you got up and hugged him tightly. “I got a few days off and I wanted to surprise my lovely Jagi at work and join her for lunch.” You tried to talk through the tears that were now streaming down your face. “I love you Taehyung.” He pulled your chin up so he could wipe the tears off your face. “Awe babe, I love me too.” You gave him a small punch and he pulled you closer as he laughed. “I just wanted to lighten the mood. I love you too. Now you need to stop crying and smile.”

Jungkook:
As you walked into the little café that your best friend and you were supposed to grab lunch at you noticed she wasn’t there. Instead you saw your boyfriend Jeon Jungkook sitting at a table smiling at you. Him trying to be his ‘cool’ self nonchalantly waved, “Hey Jagi, funny seeing you here.” You just stood there looking at him as you began to get emotional. He noticed that you were crying and immediately stood up and beckoned you into his arms. “I’m sorry that I made you cry Y/N.” You let him hold you till you calmed down.

Imagine Chris sending you off at the airport.

A/N: You could read this as a one shot, or as a sequel to the ‘Imagine face masks and pillow talk with Chris’. I just thought I’d write one final fluff piece before I venture to Japan myself and disappear from your dashes for a while. I’ll be back, so stay with me. ❤️

You and Chris walked hand in hand as you made your way to the departure hall. You’d checked in and spent the last two hours hanging out at Starbucks with Chris, just talking about small nothings as you savored your last moments with your ever loving boyfriend. You looked over at him as he quietly walked beside you, deep in his own thoughts, and smiled. The next nine months weren’t going to be easy, but hey, at least you knew Chris wasn’t going anywhere.

“Are you okay?” You squeezed his hand to get his attention and he turned to you with a nod, smiling. “Are you sure?” You chuckled softly. “Because you look a million miles away. What’s wrong?” You asked, gently brushing your thumb up and down his hand.

“Other than the fact that the love of my life is leaving me today?” He quizzed rhetorically and you chuckled when he did. “Nothing,” he shook his head. “I’m just- I’m thinking about work, Infinity War is approaching and- that’s my last ride as Captain America. Saying goodbye to him will be as hard as saying goodbye to you today,” he joked with a chuckle filled with limited humor.

“You know Marvel’s going to offer you another contract if you want one,” you told him and he pressed his lips together, nodding. “But you don’t, you want to pursue something beyond that and that’s okay. You don’t have to feel pressured by anyone to do anything,” you assured him with a light squeeze of his hand. “Yes, saying goodbye will be hard, but- sometimes saying goodbye is the best thing you can do.”

“Whoa,” he chuckled. “Are you trying to break up with me?” He joked and you laughed, rolling your eyes. “Yeah, I know what you mean.” He took his hand out of yours and wrapped an arm around you instead. “We’ll see when the time comes. Thank you for always being so supportive,” he kissed your hair and you smiled. “You really are my rock, aren’t you?”

“I’d like to think so,” you grinned at him and he chuckled. “Let’s hope you don’t crash and burn without me,” you teased him then kissed his jawline as a laugh erupted from his throat. “And vice versa, because we all know I’m not very good at surviving without oh Evans, my Captain.”

“You’ll be fine,” he planted another kiss in your hair.

“As will you,” you smiled and wrapped an arm around his waist.

The gate was now in sight and you knew it was time to say your goodbyes, which neither of you wanted to; it was evident from the way the two of you slowed your paces. You tightened your grip on his waist, as he tightened his around you. There was nothing else to be said, you both knew you loved each other and were going to miss each other like crazy; your phones were always going to be on so the other could call, text, or FaceTime at any point in time; Chris was going to use both the Snapchat and Instagram accounts you got him to keep you up to date and to keep up to date with you; and he’d get you a plane ticket if ever you needed to see him in person, and vice versa. Everything had been planned and talked about, now you just had to let go of each other.

“You sure you have everything?” Chris asked as he passed you your handbag; you nodded and pulled your arm away from him as he took his off you. “Okay, if anything goes wrong- I want you to call me immediately. I don’t care what time it is, where I am, or what I’m doing- I’ll find someway to get out of work to fly to you and bring you home safely,” he told you and you chuckled at his protective nature. “I mean it, Y/N. Do not hesitate to call, okay?”

“Okay,” you smiled.

“Please be safe,” he cupped your face in his hands and rubbed small circles into your cheeks. “I know you’re well-traveled, but still.” You chuckled and nodded in response. “Take lots of photos, okay? I want to see what you’re up to, and I’ll do the same so you can see what I’m up to.” You nodded again, knowing if you spoke- you’d somehow break down crying. “God, I love you.” He said as he pulled you into his arms for a warm hug.

“I love you too,” you fought the urge to cry as you hugged him back as tightly as you could. You felt him plant a kiss on the top of your head, squeeze you tightly one last time before he pulled away. “Good luck with Infinity War, Captain.” You placed a hand on his face, brushing his cheek with your thumb. “I’m sure you’re going to nail it as always.”

“Thanks, baby.” He placed a hand over yours then dipped his head to meet your lips for a tender, yet incredibly passionate kiss. It was such a pure moment of utter affection that you wished there were paparazzi lurking around to capture it, so you could have it with you while being away from him. “I’m going to miss you,” he whispered as he broke the kiss, resting his forehead against yours.

“I’m going to miss you too.”

He pecked your lips the pulled away, adjusting your scarf for you before beckoning his head at the departure hall gates. You took a deep breath and nodded with a smile as you turned away from him and walked towards it. When you glanced back, you saw Chris hold up a hand and smile. You noticed that his eyes were watery, like yours were; both your hearts ached simultaneously.

“I love you,” he mouthed.

“I love you too,” you mouthed back.

Kai gets hurt in a fight

Another fight went by. Another tough fight for what’s right and for safety for all the people in Mystic Falls and for your and all of your friends’ safety, but nost importantly, for Kai. He was the love of your life, your soulmate and you couldn’t imagine your life without him. You were a witch that helped him with his powers and vice versa. He was always there for you, when you were sad, he would cheer you up in a goofy way, but you loved it. He was the only one who could make you smile again after everything you’ve been through and maybe that’s why you trusted him so much.

Everyone wss celebrating and agreed to go to the Mystic Grill to celebrate with a couple of drinks and you couldn’t hide a huge smile from your face, because that seemed like a wonderful idea. You hugged Bonnie and chuckled, but you kept looking around, wanting to hug Kai and celebrate with him. Every second that passed and you couldn’t find him, a smile was fading away slowly.

‘Where’s Kai?’ You asked and kept looking around, Kai nowhere to be seen. Your breathing became shallow and faster, you heart beating so fast as if it was ready to jump out of your chest

'I’m sure he’s around somewhere. Maybe he’s already at the Grill waiting for us.’ Stefan said and chuckled, putting his arm around Caroline as they all walked towards the Grill. Maybe Stefan was right. Maybe Kai was already there and wanted to surprise you. Damon placed his arm around you, his hand hanging from your shoulder and something inside you told you to look behind. You removed Damon’s arm from your shoulder and turned around, your eyes finding someone laying on the street. Your heart stopped at the sight, as you were standing frozen. The only thing you could see was a black sillhouette but you immediately knew it was Kai.

'Kai!’ You screamed out as loud as you could and started running towards him, making everyone around you turn around and follow you. Once you came closer, he was covered in blood, a stake shoved deeply into his chest, a small pool of blood around him becoming bigger with each second.

'Kai! Kai’ you cried out his name, tears forming in your eyes as you placed your hands around the stake and put a pressure on it, trying to stop him from bleeding out even more. 'You’re going to be fine, ok? You’ll be just fine! You’re not going to die!’ Tears kept falling down your cheeks an onto the cold street, blood around Kai staining your jeans. Your hands were covered in his blood, but you refused to move or let go.

'I’m- I’m sorry.’ He stuttered and looked at you, his hand grabbing onto your hand tightly.

'Shh, don’t talk, ok?’ You muttered and looked at Kai, blood covering your hands, making you cry even more. You couldn’t stop the tears from falling down. You’ve never been that scared in your life and your biggest fear was losing Kai and seeing him like that made has awoken your biggest fear.

'I’m not going to make it. You need to know something.’ He whispered, his hand still placed on your arm, his grip a lot lighter than before. You closed your eyes for a few second and took a deep breath, trying to suppress your cryind and trying to be strong, but on the inside, you were falling spart.

'I can use my magic to heal you, I can do it, just let me-’

'Don’t do it. You have to let me go. We had a great time together, but I have to go.’ He showed you a weak smile and closed his eyes for a brief second, your crying becoming clearer to the sight.

'No, no! I won’t let you go. You can’t leave now, do you understand? You can’t leave me- I- I need you, Kai. You’re everything to me.’ You cried out and leaned down, your forehead pressed on his, your eyes closed as you felt his hot breath on your lips.

'He doesn’t have much time! Let me take him to the hospital with Damon where they can help him!’ Caroline ordered.

'We’ll see eachother again. You’ll be ok, I know that.’ You kissed his lips gently and stood up as Caroline and Damon ran quickly towards the hospital. You stood there frozen in one place, holding your hands out in front of your body. You looked down and saw them completely covered in Kai’ s blood, dripping down on the street.

'Hey, I know that he’ll be fine. He always makes it so you have nothing to worry abou, ok?’ Bonnie told you, standing in front of you, her hands firmly pressing your shoulders, but you didn’t hear a thing. You kept looking into one direction, thinking of Kai’s body laying helplessly on the cold street. 'Do you hear me? Hey!’ You finally snapped out of it and wiped your hands as much as you could on your already blood stained jeans, a single tear streaming down your face.

'We have to- we have to go! I- I have to go!’ You stated and started running towards the hospital, warm breeze gently caressing your cheeks, your hands now stained with a dried up blood. You ran into the hospital swiftly, walking fast and looking for Kai. You walked into a narrow, well lit up hallway and saw Damon pacing around it with his arms crossed and Caroline sitting on one of the chairs, leaned down, her hands covering her face.

'Damon!’ You said and ran towards him, his arms wrapping around you for a quicky hug.

'Where is he? Is he- Is he ok?’ You asked, your voice cracking on the last word.

'He’s in surgery now. We don’t know anything, except that he’s lost a lot of blood.’ Damon trailed off as you ran you fingers through your hair and took a deep breath, your heart still beating faster than usual.

'But, he’s going to make it, right? He has to, I-’ you swallowed hard, Damon’s arms wrapping around you as you sobbed into his chest, his hand caressing the back of your head gently.

'Of course he will. He’s strong and you know it. I just don’t understand why didn’t he want me to help him. I could’ve given him some of my blood and by now he would be healed.’ Damon muttered as you pulled away, wiping your tears with the back of your hand. You sighed deeply and sat down, your fingers running through your hair.

'You know how stubborn he is. He’s always like that and it’s driving me crazy.’ You trailed off and looked down at your feet.

'Good evening. Are you Malachai Parker’s family?’ You heard a male voice and lifted your head up, doctor standing in front of you. You quickly stood up and took a few steps closer.

'I’m his girlfriend. Is he alright?’ You asked, fear in your voice.

'He’s stable. He’s lost a lot of blood and if he was stabbed only a few more inches to the left, he would be dead, but we managed to save him. He needs a lot of rest and nurses will be monitoring him 24/7. He’s in good hands.’ Doctor stated, a touch of relief traveling through your body as you took a deep breath and sighed, a smile appearing on your face, knowing that Kai was ok.

'Can I- can I see him?’ You asked, your voice quiet and weak.

'You can but not for long. He-’

'Please. I need to see him. I need to see that he’s ok. Please.’

Doctor sighed and after a few moments he agreed to it and led you to the room Kai was in. You quietly walked in and closed the door behind you, a single light burning slightly in the room. As soon as you walked in, your eyes were glue to Kai, laying on that bed, with monitor beeping next to him. You placed a hand on your mouth, trying to suppress your crying as you sat down on the chair that was placed next to the bed, your hand placing gently on top of Kai’s. A single tear rolled down your cheek but you quickly wiped it away.

'Hey’ you whispered, your voice cracking. 'Just come back to me, ok? That’s everything I want.’ You leaned down and gave a gentle kiss on the back of his hand, your thumb gently caressing it.

You spent hours sitting next to him, watching his breathing and watching his heartbeat on the monitor.
Three days went by and you were still next to him. Damon, Caroline, Bonnie, all of them tried to persuade you to go home, get some rest, but you refused. You wanted to be next to him when he wakes up. You slept on the couch that was in the room, covering yourself with a small blanket that only covered half of your body, but you didn’t mind. As long as it meant that you were next to Kai, you were fine.

Your fingers were intertwined with his fingers as you ran your fingers through his hair and gently kissed his forehead when you felt a slight grip on your hand. You instantly looked down and then looked at Kai who was slowly opening his eyes. Your eyes went wide and a huge smile flashed across your face. You quickly ran out of the room and called the doctor to check on him. He was stable and he wasn’t in life danger anymore. Doctor informed you about everything and left you alone with him again as you couldn’t let his hand go.

'Hey.’ You said gently and sat on the chair next to his bed.

'Hey.’ He murmured.

'How are you feeling?’

'Like I was hit by a bus. Everything hurts.’ Kai whispered and showed you a weak smile that made your heart skip a beat. You couldn’t contain the happiness that was traveling through your body. Out of nowhere, a few tears rolled down your cheeks and fell down on the bed, Kai’s gaze locked on you.

'Hey, don’t cry. I’ll be alright.’ He said and caressed your hand with his thumb.

'I know, I’m just- happy to see those beautiful eyes of yours and your smile again. I thought I had lost you.’ you stuttered and wiped your tears away.

'You know I’ll always come back to you. Remember that. I wouldn’t leave you just like that.’

'Why didn’t you want Damon’s blood to heal you?’ You asked him, worry obvious on your face.

'Because I love when you take care of me.’ He winked at you, making you chuckle. Even in his state, he was still making jokes.

'You could have died.’

'But I didn’t. I’m still here and if it would make you feel better, I will let Damon feed me his blood so we can be crazy like before.’ He said jokingly as you playfully slapped his hand. He winced and muttered a quiet ’ow’ making your eyes wide.

'Omg I’m so sorry, I-’

'I’m kidding.’ He laughed lightly, but stopped because of the awful pain in his chest.

'You idiot. You scared the hell out of me.’

'I know, but you know I have to tease you a little bit.’

'I know.’

'Come here.’ He muttered as you stood up and leaned down, your faces only inches apart.

'I love you, you crazy idiot.’ You said and laughed.

'I love you too. Forever.’ You pressed your lips on his gently, feeling his lips again that you thought you would never feel again. You pulled away and then pecked his lips one more time before getting on the bed next to him and covering yourself with a blanket, placing your head on Kai’s shoulder carefully, your fingers intertwined with his.

Tension and fear in your body was gone and you felt relieved knowing that Kai wasn’t going anywhere and that he was going to be fine, because you were by his side, ready to help him through everything and anything.

Prologue (X) Chapter 1 (X) Chapter 2 (X) Chapter 3 (X)

Chapter 4

As soon as you exited The Garrison you knew you should have walked away from the place as quickly as possible. Yet the thought of going home didn’t seem really appealing to you and because of that you decided to take as much time as possible till going home. You walked away from door, allowing the drunken people to enter the building. The first thing you did after stopping was pulling a pack of cigarettes from your purse, lighting it and taking a deep inhale of the cigarette. You weren’t a huge smoker, finding yourself grabbing a pack of cigarettes every once in a while, especially when you were nervous or angry. And angry you were.

You walked over to a chair that you spotted a little further from The Garrison, sitting on it as you crossed your legs. Your eyes wandered around your surroundings, seeing quite many people walking in and out of the pub. It seemed to be a quite popular place, yet everyone was scared of the Shelby’s. Why in the name of God did they visit the place if they were afraid of its owners?

You were deep in thought and due to that you didn’t even notice one of the Shelby’s spotting you and making their way towards you. As soon as Michael walked out of the pub he saw you sitting alone, deciding to have a chat with you, maybe even a glass of whiskey or two since it seemed that you needed it even more than he did. He stopped in front of you, and that was the moment you noticed him, silently cursing yourself for not leaving the place.

“You mind if I sit?” He asked, pointing towards another empty chair that was placed opposite of yours. You rolled your eyes at his question. He basically owned the chair, if anything you should have asked him whether it was okay for you to sit there, not the other way around.

“Go ahead.” You simply replied, continuing to smoke your cigarette as you looked away from him. You felt him stare at you, but continued to look at the passing people. A part of you wanted to say something, but the other part of you told you to remain silent. Besides, what would you say to him? You didn’t know who he was besides the fact that he was Polly’s son and the Shelby’s cousin. Other than that you didn’t know anything about the man, nor did you really care. Your head was filled with different thoughts, not one of them featuring the man who was currently sitting in front of you.

“Are you always this silent?” He asked you, forcing you to look at him. There was a certain handsomeness in the man, but what strike out were his eyes. You were sure that if you were to look into his eyes you would simply drown in them.

Clearing your throat you decided not to answer to his question. Instead you pointed at his bottle, a smirk on your face.

“Mind if I drink a little? I didn’t get my American whiskey after all.” You asked and with a chuckle Michael passed the bottle to you. You took a large sip from it before placing the bottle onto the table between the two of you.

“I’m sorry you know. About the whole situation you are in.” He said, causing you to look at him. He apologizing for something he wasn’t guilty of caught you off guard. You gave him a small smile before finishing your cigarette and extinguishing it. A chuckle escaped your lips as you turned yourself towards Michael, a smile on your face.

“So, who’s the lucky guy I’m marrying?” You found yourself asking. Surely he was aware of who the person was since you weren’t. You weren’t speaking to your father, and even if you were you were more than sure that he wouldn’t tell you the person’s name.

“Me.” He simply replied, downing the whiskey down from his throat. Your mouth fell open as you stared at him. Gaining your composure you muttered ‘bloody hell’ to yourself, but still loud enough for him to hear you. He looked at you with a raised eyebrow as you realized that you came off very rudely due to your response.

“I didn’t mean it like that. I’m sure you’re a nice guy, it’s just-” You stopped midway, not bothering to finish your sentence. He seemed to understand what you meant as he let out a deep sigh.

“Believe me, I know.”

Your father’s men rushing past you was the first sight you saw when you entered your house. They simply glanced at you as they left the house, not even bothering to say anything to you. You were confused, thinking that something serious had happened while you were away. You saw Lucas standing near you as you decided to ask him what was happening. When he spotted you he let out a deep sigh, clearly relived to see you.

“Bloody hell Y/N, where were you? Your father was worried sick.” Lucas explained as you stood dumb-folded, unsure of what the problem was. You had stayed out maximum three hours, and it wasn’t like you hadn’t been out without guards before.

When your father saw you standing there safely he exhaled deeply. He knew he had to try to talk to you, had to try to explain you why he had done what he had done. It wasn’t because he didn’t love you - he did, he just didn’t show it. He was harsh on you because he at some point he would disappear from this world and leave you alone. He wanted you to be ready for when the moment came; he wanted you to be ready to lead the Pierce gang.

“Y/N? Come to my cabinet please.” Raimond Pierce said, his voice sounding a lot softer than it usually was. You looked over to him, sending a glance at Lucas before you walked into the cabinet, your father closing the doors after you.

You stood still, your arms crossed in front of your chest, waiting for him to say whatever he wanted to say. He silently sat into his chair, his eyes landing on you. For a second he thought about what to say, realizing that whatever he said would not be okay.

“I’m sorry.” And that was it. You couldn’t believe that those were the only words your father said to you after sending you basically off to marry someone you didn’t even know. You knew that even saying those words took a lot from him since he was never a person who apologized for anything really.

“You’re sorry? That really eases the situation that you are forcing me into. That’s nice that you’re sorry, but what about me? Did you ever think about what I wanted? Marrying someone I don’t know isn’t what I bloody want.” You yelled as a tear rolled down your cheek. Never in the past had you cried in front of your father. ‘We’re gangsters Y/N, we don’t have any emotions.’ that’s what your father would say to you. Yet the tear escaped from your eye, but you wiped it quickly away. You would not cry in front of Raimond Pierce.

With a deep breath you calmed yourself down as you looked at your father who looked at you with a stunned expression on his face.

“I will marry a Shelby on one condition: you will teach me everything there is to know about races, about how to lead a gang. And I will marry one month from this date. Do we have a deal?” You asked your father. Raimond looked at you, finding it surprising that you would dare to blackmail something out of him. But he needed a way so that you would forgive him, and that was it.

“Deal.”

You and me

Sequel to You make everything better, but can be read as a stand-alone.

Word Count: 1.3K
Pairing: Peter Parker x Reader (No gender specified)
Summary:  After Peter recounts the events of his fight with Captain America and his team, confessions are made.
Warnings: None.
A/N: I wrote this today because I wanted to take my mind off of the other things I’m writing that have backstories and more complicated plots– which means that this is fluff and a lil angst and then fluff again.

You’re sitting cross-legged on Peter’s bed, running your fingers through his hair while he rests his head on your lap. He’s talking animatedly, and from the faraway look in his eyes you can see that he’s lost in his own memories.

“And Bucky Barnes had this super cool metal arm and I touched it! And the Falcon had this awesome drone that threw me out the window and there was this man that Mr. Stark said was called Ant-Man who was like, super tiny.”

“Like an ant?” You ask, straining your face muscles to stop yourself from smiling. He stops talking and gives you an unamused look.

“Yes, obviously. Anyway–” He moves to sit up and you take your hands off his hair. “Spread your legs.” Your eyes widen in surprise and you laugh out loud.

Damn, chivalry sure is dead.” You say in amusement– but the joke takes a couple of seconds to land on Peter. Once it does, his eyes widen and he blushes furiously– jerking back and lifting his hands up, shaking his head.

“I didn’t mean it like that! I– I just wanted to sit between your legs!” You fall back against his pillow, laughing heartily.

I know, babe. Come here.” You manage to say once you’ve controlled yourself. You sit back and spread your legs, opening your arms for him. He covers his face and sighs exaggeratedly before moving at a snail’s pace towards you until he’s finally sitting in front of you, leaning back against your chest.

Pt. 1: http://sexy-stan.tumblr.com/post/157170782434/tom-holland-imagine-beautiful

Summary: After months of you and Tom denying the connection you felt after he spent the night cuddled up next to you in bed, you began tired of feeling lonely and agreed to go on a date with Harrison. Little did either you or Tom know, the date was all part of Harrison’s plan…

A/N: I didn’t really think about writing a part two until I got this idea so here ya go

Warnings: None

Why am I doing this? He’s not the one I want.

I stared at my reflection in the mirror as I finished getting ready for my date with Harrison. I only agreed since Tom never made a move after the night we spent together.

I looked over at my bed and remembered how amazing it felt to be wrapped up in his strong arms.

Yes, Harrison was an amazing catch, but he would never be Tom.

There was a pit in the bottom of my stomach once I realized that me agreeing to go on this date ended all chances I had of being with Tom. And I also knew Harrison and I would never be able to make it work.

I heard the doorbell ring and felt sick to my stomach as I heard my mom greeting Harrison at the door.

“Y/N! Harrison’s here.” My mom called up.

I wiped the tear that fell from my eye and grabbed my purse before going down the stairs.

Harrison was waiting patiently with a bouquet of flowers in his hand.

“Uh, these are for you…” He awkwardly said as he handed me the flowers.

I thanked him and took them to the kitchen to put them in a vase.

And after that, we were off.

The car ride was filled with an awkward silence.

I hated this.

Harrison was my best friend and now I felt sick just from looking at him.

“Stop the car!” I yelled.

Harrison slammed the breaks and looked over at me with wide eyes.

“Y/N, what’s wrong?”

“I-I think I’m gonna be sick.”

I jumped out of the car and ran to the side of the road and began to breathe heavily.

“Jesus, Y/N!” Harrison said as he held my hair out of my face even though I hadn’t actually thrown up.

“What are we doing, Harrison?” I asked.

He looked at me with confused eyes.

“What do you mean?”

“Why did you ask me out? I know you don’t like me that way.”

“I– I was trying to get Tom to make a move…”

“What?”

“Ever since that night you two spent together, he hasn’t stopped talking about how in love he is with you. And I kept telling him to ask you out but he would make some excuse like that you would never say yes to him or that he wouldn’t want to put you through dating a celebrity or some other bullshit excuse.”

“Where is he now?”

“He’s at his house… or at the cafe I told him we were going to.”

“Take me to him. Please.”

“Of course.”

Harrison helped me back into the car. In a matter of minutes, we were parked outside an unfamiliar house.

I had never actually been to Tom’s house. We were always at either Harrison or I’s considering we lived next door to each other.

“Go on, Y/N. I know you love him too.”

I smiled at my best friend and got out of the car.

I walked up to the door and knocked. A few moments later a smaller version of Tom opened the door.

“Hello, can I help you?”

“I need to see Tom.”

“Oh… wait, how did you get this address? If you’re some crazy fan, I’ll call the police!”

“I’m Y/N, his friend and Harrison’s neighbor.” I said as I gestured to Harrison who was still waiting in his car.

“Oh… OH! You’re the girl Tom never shuts up about! Wait, aren’t you supposed to be dating Harrison? Isn’t that why Tom hasn’t left his room all day?”

“Alright, move.” I said as I pushed the boy out of the way.

“Second door to the right once you get upstairs! I’m Harry by the way!” He called after me.

I paused when I reached Tom’s door. I could hear sniffling coming from the other side which only made my heart break more. I lightly knocked.

“Harry, I said I want to be left alone today!” Tom’s voiced called.

I felt my heart crush as I could hear the sadness in his voice. I opened the door and saw him curled up on his bed staring at the wall.

“Harry! I sai- oh…”

I smiled softly at Tom as he realized I was not his younger brother.

“Hey, can I sit down?”

Tom nodded. I crossed the room and sat down in front of him on the bed. His eyes were red from crying and his curls were all over the place.

“C'mere.” I said as I pulled him to where his head was in my lap.

I ran my fingers through his soft curls as his hands held my other one.

“Aren’t you supposed to be with Harrison right now?”

“And why would I want to be with him when I could be with you?”

“D-Don’t you like him? I can see it on your face. He makes you laugh harder than I ever could. And you guys always cuddle on the couch and hang out like everyday…”

“Harrison is like my brother! I only said yes to him cause you wouldn’t ask me out, Tom. I’ve wanted to be with you since the second I laid my eyes on you. You were so… beautiful.”

By now, Tom was sitting up in front of me.

“I love you.” He blurted out.

His eyes went wide as he realized what he said.

“I-I’m so sorry, Y/N! Shit, I just ruined everything didn’t I… Jesus Christ, I’m such an id-”

I cut him off by crashing his lips onto mine.

“I love you, too you idiot.”

Tom smiled and pulled me back into him and began to kiss me again.

“Bout damn time.” We heard someone mumble.

Tom and I broke apart to see Harry and Harrison standing in the doorway. Harrison with a cocky smirk on his face.

“Yes, it is about damn time. And Harrison, you have 5 seconds to run for going after my girl.” Tom said.

Harrison’s smirk faded as his eyes went wide and he took off down the hallways, Tom hot on his heels.

“My boys.” I said as Harry and I laughed at Harrison’s pleas to get Tom to stop.
