i want you studio

katsu--done  asked:

i currently use medibang for digital art and was thinking about buying a new art program. do you recommend sai, or clip studio paint? i mainly want a larger range of brushes and better tools for watercolour like shading

I’ve only used Sai a couple of times in school since I personally have a Mac (doesn’t support the program) so I can’t fully compare the two but I really like and recommend Clip Studio Paint~

The layout is nice and it has a ton of tools, here’s a forum that compares the two if you’d like to check it out; http://forum.deviantart.com/art/digital/2263338/

Clip Studio definitely has a good variety of brushes (watercolor too since you mentioned) and you can also either create custom brushes or download new ones as well if you want, just like Sai

apparently studio bones thought that manga Lovecraft wasn’t creepy enough so they essentially turned the body horror dial up to 1000%, a fact I am very much celebrating because LOOK AT HIM

Dang….Jay Park certainly seems to fit in well with the 1 Million Dance Studio crew doesn’t it? Hehe...first the MV Collab, then Making of vid and now Dance Class. This 30 yr old CEO just keeps on churnin’ out dance vids and music and video contents non stop! Where’d he get all the stamina haha….amazing.

…in the way the flame on his forehead flickers. Still pulsing, earnest and yearning. Still sending out that staccato message, like an SOS in Morse code. I’m here. I’m here.

Come home, come home.

no halo hat, because that’s post-canon. just koi patterned battle gear P:

the gif shows basically tsuna’s Default Dying Will State. it’s always flickering like that, hint nudge. reborn is just the only one presently who would recognize it for what it is and describe it properly, but 1) the first time he saw tsuna’s flame was during the harmonization process where he probably passed off the wild flickering as just Normal Harmony Procedure, and 2) the second time is in ch14 in which i kind of glossed over it because he had maybe 1.5 seconds before he was socked in the face.

but ye. whenever tsuna’s forehead goes on fire it flickers like this because he’s basically in constant full body Zero Point Breakthrough Revised mode. very unstable flame.

I really wish I could move into a cute little studio apartment with the person I love.

Back from my tattoo!

It was great. Ended up being a full 2 hours, and ended up costing me $350, which funnily enough is close to what I made from writing Sans Days.

It didn’t hurt nearly as much as I thought it was going to, in fact I almost fell asleep twice on the table. Apparently I have a higher pain tolerance than I thought cause the artist was really impressed that I took it so well for being my first tattoo, and the fact it was in a “super painful” area.

……… it was actually a really relaxing time and I think I want another one. I’ll show you guys Reader’s Soul once it heals up a little bit.

Aeon Dream Studios Facts, Pt 1

I have no idea why, but as I was working on Hikaru’s route, I suddenly had the thought that you guys don’t know a lot about our processes or anything. And hey, you may not care! But I had the urge to write down some facts about us as we come to a conclusion after a very long year of development on our first game. Some facts are general, some are personal but for some reason, I just wanted to share it with you all.

  • Aeon Dream Studios is one year old, in our second year. It’ll be two years this August.
  • We all worked without a single drop of pay for a year.
  • Aeon Dream Studios consists of a creative core of three women from different countries: Vietnam, Lithuania and the US.
  • Of these three, two are people of color and one from a country with a long history of oppression.
  • All three have struggled with depression and other similar issues throughout their lives, but have struggled and grown as people through ADS.
  • All three had significant life struggles and changes during our development of MDSOA, but thus far have been able to overcome them all.
  • All three are responsible for the entirety of the writing, world, and art, though we do contract a small portion of the art out, even that is directed under the artist.
  • We work regularly with three other contractors for the Backgrounds, Programming and CG Art.
  • Our Lead Artist and Art Director Gess, is responsible for drawing all the sprites from concept to the final version you see in the game. She is also responsible for the direction of the CGs and the final version you see in game. Gess also oversees all visuals, including BG, modifications, and GUI. She even oversees promotional materials and screenshots.
