i want that calendar!! *.*

I think this person is Sara

That one on the corner

With the blue bikini

I think it’s her because of the breasts and the blue bikini, the same one she’s using on this other photo

I think it’s safe to say she went on vacations with her girlfriend and the rest of the russian team, seeing as Yuri and Georgi are there as well as:

Lilia and Yakov!!!

An Idea...

So I was stalking Tumblr the other day and I noticed that other than the artists and writers, the MM fandom isn’t really well acquainted with one another… I also did a little search and I don’t think this is a thing yet so here we go.

I was planning to have a fandom meetup here on Tumblr, so that those in the Mystic Messenger fandom can get to know each other and have a fun time.

(I also got inspired by the phandom meetups as I used to be in the phandom for a few years)

Since National Potato Chip Day lands on March 14th in America, I thought to have the meetup then to celebrate 707′s love for Honey Buddha chips at the same time!

I will make a page about this, and put it in my calendar, but I want to see the reception to this idea first.

So please share this around so that more and more people would know about it!! Thank you guys so much for the support xx

So under the cut is some info about what a meetup actually is:

how to start your day out right
  • get up early. yes, it’s super hard. yes, it’s painful. but it will help you start your day with enough time to have breakfast and do your morning routine without being rushed.
  • eat breakfast!!! many experts agree that this is the most important meal of the day. it tells your body that it’s time to get up and start going. if you’re trying to lose weight, don’t skip breakfast. it’s actually beneficial to eat breakfast because your metabolism will be get going and be faster for the rest of the day! eat a healthy breakfast, though– you want to give your body good fuel. you wouldn’t try to make your car run on water or something, and the same principle applies to your body. try to eat some fruits or vegetables with your breakfast!
  • HYDRATE HYDRATE HYDRATE!!! I get that you might feel nauseous in the morning, but force yourself to drink a glass of water. headache? drink a glass of water and wait half an hour before you take an ibuprofen. a lot of the time, you’re actually just a little dehydrated. if you can’t eat and are going somewhere later, grab an apple or banana and put it in your bag for later. while you’re at it, fill up a refillable water bottle and put it in there, too. try to drink throughout the day!
  • look at your face in the mirror. is it greasy? does it have dried things around your eyes? does your skin feel gross? did you forget to take off your makeup last night? wash your face! even if none of the above are true! the water will wake you up and it will help clear your pores from all the stuff that built up overnight.
  • now look at your hair. greasy? clumping together? when was the last time you showered or took a bath? unless you showered last night, get in there and clean yourself off. work that shampoo into your hair, making sure the parts near your head get all soaped up, too. maybe even wash your hair twice, if you feel like it. (I like how it starts to make squeaky clean sounds after two washes!) when you’re done, get out of the shower, blow dry your hair, apply lotion to anywhere that needs it, put on some makeup/chapstick/etc, and feel ready to face the day!
  • well, sort of. time to get dressed, right? check the weather on your phone. what’s the highest temperature for the day? choose your clothing length accordingly. look at your calendar and check what you’re doing for the day to decide whether you want to dress formally or not. personally, I check the weather and calendar and set out clothes the night before so that I don’t have to do as much in the morning.
  • check what you have in your bullet journal or planner so far and make a mental plan for your priorities. (you can write it down if you’d like!) make sure you have an idea of how you’re going to manage your time.
  • go outside if you can! getting outside light in the morning helps reset your body’s clock and get you back on track for going to bed at night. also, vitamin D is really important! doctors recommend that we humans get at LEAST ten minutes of sunlight per day, at least where I live! check the stats for your local area and try to meet that goal every day. if you can’t, ask your doctor if you should take a vitamin D pill every morning.
  • take your meds! if you’re on a cumulative medication, such as antidepressants, it’s extremely important to try to take them at a similar time every day so that the levels in your body can stay regulated so that they can do their best to help you. if you haven’t, take a minute to look at your med’s requirements so that you know how you should take it. some say that you should take it with food, and others say to make sure you drink a full glass of water when you take it so that it can dissolve properly. whatever the requirements, try your best to meet them so that the meds can best help you!!!
  • another thing that can help you wake up is a little bit of exercise. you don’t have to run a marathon every morning– you can even just do a few simple stretches or yoga poses every morning. anything will help!

good luck!

Ah!  Here is another depiction of Nanny and Casanunda’s date!  But this time, the somewhat more romantic part (somewhat, ha, I mean, look at Greebo*).  Well, Casanunda did his best.

Happy Valentine’s Day!

*This Greebo definitely needs to be captioned “BODE”.

First skeleton treasure I want to share is a gift from the incredible @yesyooduck

This calendar was preorder only, but yoo (who didn’t even have a table at the show) was so kind to bring me one. I got to high five them!!! That was my #1 goal and I’m still reeling that it came true. I high fived @yesyooduck😭😭😭😭

The calendar itself is gorgeous, my favourite page is just the big blank that says “on vacation” ^____^ the months loosely follow the order of scenes from the game.

This is comin with me to the office tomorrowwww

so i made this post because even the laziest people in existence still have to study ha ha these are just some things i’ve been doing for my revision!

1. you don’t need to rewrite notes to memorise them

i know tons of people say that rewriting notes is a form of memory retention but honestly!!! i don’t have the energy/patience for that ha! for me, the best method to memorise things (especially content-heavy chapters/subjects) would be to record yourself talking. i don’t think this is especially catered to auditory learners, because i know for a fact that i’m not an auditory learner but this still works especially well for me so!!

i usually open up the voice recorder app and talk as if i’m teaching someone! i’d recommend you use a guidebook as reference and not the actual textbooks. guidebooks are more vague, so when you’re speaking about a particular point, you can sort of expand on the point given in the guidebook from your knowledge of the subject! this really helps for revision because you’re basically forced to remember things. you don’t necessarily need to replay your recordings. to me, the “recording” bit of this method is psychological, it makes me feel like i’m actually memorising and not just talking to myself haha.

this recording method is honestly one of the most helpful things i’ve ever started doing and i can do a more in-depth post on it if anyone asks haha

2. use different highlighters for different sections

i know literally everyone has been told this tip in their lifetime but honestly!!! it’s EXTREMELY helpful, especially if you want to do timelines for history! use different colours for things like dates, people, treaties, etc!
okay but one thing about this tip that’s sort of different from others is that when you highlight dates, highlight the entire event and not just the date! so for example, instead of highlighting “28 June 1919″, highlight “The Treaty of Versailles was signed on 28 June 1919.” that way, you know the WHOLE event and the date and you’ll be more likely to remember both!

i learnt this the hard way - i used to highlight dates by themselves (maybe i was just totally dumb) and i could NEVER remember what happened on the dates lmao

3. the internet is there for you

it’s a bad habit of mine, but being a very last-minute person, i ALWAYS have doubts even the night before exams. since it’s too late to actually contact anyone, i usually have to rely on the internet. the internet has a myriad of wonderful wonderful resources that are so incredibly useful!

some youtube channels that have helped me are khanacademy (literally anything), mathbff (math), keith hughes (history), j brierly (literature)

i also recommend watching documentaries (for history/social studies) because even though it’s a more in-depth version of what you have to learn, it’ll help you understand everything better + make your essay stand out :)

4. find a suitable study space

a good study space is probably the first thing you should ensure if you want to get anything done at all. i usually never study at home, simply because i’m always distracted by trivial things such as “i’m hungry, i’m gonna get food” or “i’m so tired i’m going to sleep for five minutes”.

when i started studying outside (usually at starbucks/the library), my productivity level increased so much it blew my mind a little. even though it’s a bit troublesome because you may not be completely sure what materials to bring, you’ll still get a lot done trust me on this lmao

5. always, always plan what you want to do

i find it really taxing to plan out my entire day down to the hour, so i usually just set a certain number of things i want to complete for that day, and just let things naturally flow from there.

for example, i write the things i want to do on my calendar (finish a set of math papers, read a chapter of lit, etc.) and then i just get everything done on that day w/o planning the exact time i’m going to do it! it makes things less stressful in my opinion :)

i’ve tried planning things by hour but it usually never works out so i just stopped doing it and honestly it’s not necessary! what’s important about planning is just knowing what you need to do and then getting it done.

6. handwrite your notes whenever you can

writing your notes by hand triggers your memory more effectively than typing them out. even though i’m tempted to type out notes since i’m the laziest person in existence, i still try (most of the time) to write notes because at the end of the day, you’ll be more proud of your handwritten notes than your boring typed out ones :)

7. study with people who usually do well

this is a rather…shady….method of learning but honestly!!! when you know how the top students function, you can learn from them as well!

i’ve discovered that top students usually perform so well because they review their content regularly, unlike people like me who wait three days before the exam to start cramming everything into my brain.

keep some pictures of your notes or some flashcards with you, so that when you have pockets of time (eg. waiting for a friend, waiting for the bus, etc), you can whip them out and start reviewing :)

these people also act as tutors, so you can clarify your doubts with them and it’ll be less awkward as compared to asking an actual teacher. i know i prefer asking classmates than teachers hahaha.

OKAY i hope this helped :-) please also reblog/like this if you’re a studyblr, i’m new to the community and i wanna follow more people!!

I really wanted someone to do this as a calendar prompt last year, but sadly it never happened, so this year I decided to roll up my sleeves and make one myself.

hey friends!

just so you know, it’s that time of year when the current batch of Llewellyn almanacs and annuals go on sale to make way for next year’s! And if you’re like me, this is when you go snatch them up.

the Llewellyn website is out of stock on most of the titles but Amazon is also reflecting the 75% off discount, and they have more stock, so !! get on it I guess??

I wish there were a color or symbol for FB statuses that meant “don’t make suggestions, I just want to vent”

Because sometimes the “helpful” suggestions of well meaning friends make me want to punch people.

Like, dude, I know I could use a calendar or my phone to remind me of dates, but that’s not the issue. I’m absolutely overwhelmed by trying to run a business and it makes me want to vomit as well as the litany of other responsibilities I have and my other job. I have no sense of structure or organization and your helpful suggestion is not going to suddenly fix the crushing levels of anxiety and fevered avoidance of my problems.

Just let me vent about the fact that I fucked up without trying to fix me.

these are the days,
i say, and you agree

days of running barefoot
through the fields of each other’s
hearts, leaving bowed and muddied
grass in our wakes, not caring

days of bathing in honey,
skin all golden and sticky with nostalgia
collecting dead dreams and sunlight

days of nails stained azure
from trying to grab the sky,
now embossed with millions of hairline
fractures because as often as not,
it is damage we leave behind

i do not want to forget these days,
i say, and you agree
