Going to make you do another list- favorite scenes in Critical Role?

Oh, this is just cruel, especially since I’ve gone and decided I was gonna do timestamps. These are just a few that popped into my head and I’m sure I’ll remember thirty as soon as I post it. Enjoy the complete emotional whiplash of this random assortment of moments.

Tried to keep the descriptions as spoiler-free as possible so people can just jump in wherever, but I’d skip this if you’re really worried. Every link leads to the exact timestamp, some of which are obviously very spoilery. Here we go!

Episode 3: Vex and Keyleth say “fuck it”. (Note: early episode means v. loud at times and sound quality is pretty rough.)

Episode 4: Laura gets to the episode a bit late, just in time for an elaborate and extremely well-thought-out plan to go into play.

Episode 17: Grog mopes after a rough fight.

Episode 35: Scanlan casts a spell on Percy.

I see you blogging all this MP100 stuff, what's it about?? It seems kinda interesting

GJGHDKFJ i really have been blogging about it A Lot over the past, month or so??? geez.

quick synopsis: mob psycho 100 is about a child named kageyama shigeo (nicknamed ‘mob’) with ridiculously strong psychic powers. the series follows his middle school years and his struggles to live through it while trying to find a purpose in life to follow. other main characters include:

- reigen, a conman psychic who exploits mob for his powers but also cares for the boy in his own way
- ritsu, mob’s younger brother with a bit of an inferiority complex over his sibling
- teru, an esper of the same age who fights mob in a clash of ideals
- dimple, a cult leader who wants to become god

mob psycho 100 seamlessly blends kickass action scenes with poignant character development moments. mob is a very likeable and relatable protagonist as someone who sees himself as unextraordinary and ‘gifted’ in all the wrong ways, and as the series progresses we really see how he grows and matures as a person. the side characters all get their moment in the spotlight as they come to realize their flaws, deconstruct their personalities/motivations, and eventually come out of it all as better people.

overall mp100 is a very unique experience that managed to touch my heart. i highly recommend reading the webcomic or checking out the anime, if you wanna get eased into the artstyle! the adaptation is absolutely fantastic and has enough beautiful animation scenes in just one episode to make any other series jealous. (for a taste check out the opening and ending sequences.) the manga itself doesnt have, uh, the best grip on human anatomy, but the art really is a treat. ONE is very good at paneling, composition, facial expressions, clarity, and character designs! and his art really improves a lot during the course of the webcomic.

also the humor. pretty great humor
