“Pretty Boy” : Extension of a Headcanon

Before I start, this is going to be more disturbed than my regular headcanon stuff. Someone requested I write a fic about Vic getting bullied and aftercare, here you are. I’m not the best at fic writing as I get lost in my own head and easily distracted, but I tried my best! <3

I came out to my gf while ago as nb. And I guess she talked about me to her dad as my chosen name? Which is close enough to my birthname that I can pass it off as a nickname, but it makes me feel really vulnerable when she calls me that to her dad. And I don't know if it's a name thing- that I maybe don't like my name, or maybe I'm not really nb. And it just kind of worries me. Should I tell her not to call me that? She's tried so hard to learn it and I'd feel really bad if I asked her to stop.

Ohhh boy do I ever feel this.

My best friend calls me Ellis to his mom. Which, I mean, whatever, thanks for respecting my name. However, his mom is transphobic, and is also friends with my family - who I’m not out to. Very scary.

I don’t think your response to this situation is an accurate representation of how you feel in relation to being nb. It’s natural to feel vulnerable in this kind of situation. I really don’t think these feelings alone mean you aren’t nb - it just means maybe you need to get more comfortable with the name, and/or with other people using it. It’s a process.

Ultimately, if you really don’t want her to use it, ask her not to. Yes, she tried hard to learn it, but you still have the right to change it. It just means she might have to learn a new name for you, and there’s nothing wrong with that.

Harrison had been gone for almost two months now with Tom, filming yet another movie. He’d decided to come home for the week and surprise you. You two talked every day, including facetime, but it just wasn’t the same as being with you. He missed feeling your touch, the smell of your hair when you two were lying in bed, just the comfort of having you there with him. Obviously the talk came up of you going with the two boys while Tom filmed but you couldn’t leave your studio at home just like that.

It was almost 1:00 in the morning when Harrison was arriving at your guys’ shared apartment. He immediately dropped his bag and quietly headed for your bedroom hoping not to wake you. He was surprised to not see you in bed considering the early hour of the morning, he called out for you.

“Y/N?”

With no answer, harrison started out the front door, to the only other place he thought you would be. Harrison made his way to your art studio, his heartbeat speeding up with excitement when he saw the light on in there. He parked his car and walked quickly to your studio’s door, using his spare key to unlock it.

“Sweets?” Harrison softly called out, slowly opening the door hoping not to scare you in case you were in the middle of something. At first, he peaked his head in, noticing a few of the pieces you worked on while he was away. Not seeing you right away, Harrison stepped inside, closing the door behind him gently.  He walked further into the studio, rounding a corner before noticing you with paint littered all over you. His face lit up with a smile at the sight of you peacefully sleeping on the couch you put in there when you first bought the studio. He was in such awe of you, even in just a simple sweatshirt and paint-splattered jeans, you were the perfect sight in his eyes.

“Sweets?” Harrison repeated as he got closer to your sleeping figure.

“Hey my love,” he continued with a soft smile settling over his lips as you were waking up with wide eyes, clearly surprised to see him there.

“Haz what are you doing here?” you lazily asked, sitting up and letting your eyes adjust to the light.

“I missed you so I had to come see you,” both of you smiled sweetly, you pulled him in for a kiss.

“Come on, Sweets, let’s get you home so we can go to bed,” he helped you up off the couch, waiting for you to grab your stuff.

Once home, Harrison helped you wash the paint off your skin before waiting for you to change and get into bed with him.

“I’m really glad you’re back,” you whispered softly into his chest.

“I wouldn’t have it any other way.” he whispered back, kissing the top of your head before you both fall asleep for the night.

Elise: We’re best friends so-

Giu: -it’d be totally weird if we-

Elise: -did it again?

They looked at each other, the connection between them still there, the realisation of what they had done starting to sink in.

Giu: You’re right, never again. Best friends don’t-

Elise: -do that at all. I don’t even like you like that.

Giu awkwardly chuckled, nodding. He tried to keep a neutral expression on his face.

Giu: Yeah, totally. You’re just my best mate, El.

how important is it to share your sexuality with a psychologist/therapist/psychiatrist? I know there are a lot of statistics that say that bisexual people are more likely than other groups to have mental problems or be mistreated because of it. Do you know the best way to kinda find the correlation between my bisexuality and me having anxiety/depression?

You don’t have to share your sexuality with your therapist. But if you want to discuss it with someone then I think it’d be a good idea. If your therapist turns out to be biphobic though then dump them. A biphobic therapist will only make you feel worse.

I wouldn’t recommend trying to figure out if your depression and anxiety is related to your bisexuality. It’s not like you can stop being bisexual, or even if you tried to it’s not like it would help your depression and anxiety.

@ Apple podcast app users:

Does anyone know how to do continuous play on iOS 11.0.3? I’d like to listen to old episodes of a podcast with a huge archive, and so far the only options I can figure are:

  1. Scroll down over like 100 episodes each time an episode ends to select the next one
  2. Manually add every episode to “Play Next” (and hope that I don’t feel like listening to multiple episodes of another podcast because my Play Next would become a mess real quick)
  3. Manually add every episode to a Station, so I can at least separate by show (the best option as far as I can tell, even if it’s very fiddly and cumbersome)

From what I’ve read and tried, there are no Autoplay options for the Episodes tab, the Listen Now tab, or each Show’s tab—you can only autoplay through manually adding episodes to a Station or Play Next.

That doesn’t seem right, so I’m wondering if I’m missing something?

Dear Overwatch Fanbase,

I love Overwatch, and it has become one of my favourite first-person shooters out of the many I’ve played. But, I couldn’t help but notice, how FUCKING TOXIC YOU CAN BE, especially with gate keeping (fuck all of you that do this), and most recently, the constant discourse, recently with Pharah’s nationality and Mercy’s concept art. I kinda wanted to ignore it, since this fanbase can suck sometimes and you guys are sometimes way too rude to one another (have you tried positively? You should), but it’s pushed me to the brink where I’m going to share my 2¢ about it.

First of all, let’s start with Pharah’s discourse about her nationality.

Pharah, is a pretty great character. She’s fun to play, and all though we don’t know a lot about her, she’s kinda interesting because we want to know more. But, sometimes knowing more isn’t always the best. Recently, if you haven’t heard, she was confirmed to be part native from her father. Her father has not proved important to the story yet, so I’m not complaining, but if he becomes more important, sure, go on ahead and tell us the nationality. This, is something that should not have caused a big uproar like it has. I don’t know if you’ve forgotten, but this is a made up game with 20+ heroes, and they have to make sure to develop each of them individually. I’m not saying her character and nationality is not important, but it should only be mentioned if it becomes a big point of interest for Pharah.

Guess what? The creators don’t owe you ANYTHING. They gave you a great game with NO PAID DLC, and ever increasing cast of characters, maps, events, all for $60. Blizz could have easily just did paid DLC for everything… but they didn’t. Shouldn’t that be enough?

But wait, it’s never enough, is it? You guys bitch and whine when you’re favourite character isn’t confirmed gay, trans, etc., or when a character design used to be black. The whole point of designing a character is to look at a lot of potential concepts, each very different from one another. They got a bunch of artists together and told them to draw a character based on this kit, and they did. They chose Mercy’s design because it fit her kit, and even though she’s not the most developed character, they most likely have plans for her.

Don’t go and attack the artists for something they did. They were doing their job, and designs get rejected, that’s part of designing. It doesn’t mean Blizz is racist, it just means that they found a design more suitable to what they’re looking for. They can’t do every design after all.

I have nothing against the LGBT community, after all, I am a bisexual person, but just because you’re Character is not Canon [insert LGBT label here], doesn’t mean you need to get upset at creators and push your agenda. Go ahead, ship your characters, that’s fine, but don’t try to force it. You’re not the creators, so just let them do their own thing. I don’t care if we get a new characters that’s trans or whatever, all that matters to me is that their character is awesome and that their kit is fun.

Also: the ship fighting. I hate to break it to you, but news flash! Ships are made up guys, let people ship what they want. If they don’t ship what you ship, that’s fine. We all have different opinions, and if everyone shared the same opinion, the world would be dull and uninteresting. Just, leave people alone.

I’m not even going to touch the toxic players when you’re in game…please, just try to be nice? It’s not that hard…

You catch more flies with honey then you do vinegar after all.

In a game that pushes acceptance of others, regardless of ethnicity, background, sexuality, age, race, etc., you’d think that the fanbase would reflect that… but like fanbases such as Steven Universe, the fandom actually becomes a toxic cesspool. Instead of accepting, you push people away. Why push potential friends or people who want to be an avid member of the community away? Isn’t the whole point of a community is to welcome people in with open arms?

Apparently not.

I know there are plenty of good people here in the OW fandom… but I just feel like there has been a lot of negativity as of late that needs to be dispersed. And although I know this won’t matter to many, I just had to put it out there. And I’m sorry I came off so negative in the beginning, I’m just kinda frustrated right now.

I bid all of you a good day.

I….I finally did it after a along ass time scrapping scenes

The lyric comic is based on a comment in the music video which was this: “This version sounds like she’s mourning the potential.”

The idea began from that, where a different color on your skin represents the love and affection you have for the person. If you don’t see your color on them, then your love is unrequited.

There is some elements of my GTA 5 AU in this comic hence the guns and stuff. Also fun fact: Wildcat’s convo with Vanoss hints to my Minicat comic that I made before. Wildcat knows what Vanoss is going through and he didn’t want his friend to suffer the same heartbreak like he did.

Anyway hope you enjoy it!

In these series I tried to condense all the things I love/appreciate about Yoongi but somehow…I think it wasn’t enough lol it was quite difficult to express what I really wanted but I did my best! ♥ I’m really grateful to him and BTS, I found them at a difficult time and I don’t think I would be here if it weren’t for them.
Thank you so much for existing! ❤💕

I’m sorry, mom. I tried.

@fandomloverforshit

I don’t know if I’m qualified to answer this at all, but I’ll do my best! Before I start, this is how I draw Sans, how you choose to draw him entirely depends on what feels more comfortable to you and your style. (I tried drawing Sans a bunch of different ways until I found a style that suits me.)

FIRST!! Start off with a ‘t’ shape (we all know the drill but its super important to help figure out where his face goes and how to shape his face)

After all that noise, you can shape his face around the ‘t’. It helps a lot when you’re figuring out his jaw situation.

Again! Use the lines to figure out where to add his face! (*gasp*! he’s already cute af)

:O

Sans is all curves. (one of the reasons drawing him is so therapeutic for me)

Make him round! Add some poofy clothes! Tell him he’s pretty!

Basically my tips are don’t underestimate the ‘t’ and Sans is at his most powerful the rounder he is.

I know you don't take request but Please Please Please Please!!!!!! Make A Scarf Tutorial! Please! Pretty please! The way you draw them is so awesome and I ve tried to draw them on my own looking at references and other tutorials but they never look cool. I m sorry to ask. Don't answer this if you don't want to. Ill understand.

I am not really fluent at drawing clothes in a realistic way, so the best I can do is to share you some personally tips I do when drawing scarfs.

Observe how clothes and fabrics works first, it takes certain time to study.
