ok but at the start, they seriously told us with visuals who would pilot the lions, other than their designated pilots………………….
pidge and hunk are the only ones for green and yellow….
we don’t see a mini blue lion or learn anything about what it looks for in a paladin because lance interrupts, but we only get shots of allura and lance while the blue lion is being discussed….. allura goes on to pilot blue.
the red lion is in between keith and lance…. lance pilots red at the current time. this makes the shot of the black lion and who is shown with it very intriguing….
shiro is there, of course… then keith, his head completely in the frame. he’s now piloting black.then — barely there but there, nonetheless — there’s lance.
Can we appreciate the fact Hades offered Nico a room at his palace in the Underworld in case his son dies in battle, because he doesn’t want Nico to feel like he’s got nobody and that he’s got his Dad no matter what? That’s some special treatment there. Nico doesn’t even need to be judged or whatever to be placed in Elysium or any fields in the Underworld–he’ll go straight to the palace.
Can we appreciate the fact that Hades’ gift to Nico’s birthday was a French zombie–who was a professional racer–to be his son’s chauffeur that Nico can summon anytime and anywhere to take him literally any destination in the world?
Can we appreciate the fact that Hades protected and saved Nico (and Bianca) when Zeus wanted to kill his Italian children, because Zeus didn’t want any child of Hades to be the child of the prophecy (and lost his beloved Maria di Angelo in the process)?
Can we appreciate the fact that Hades wanted Nico to be an exception from all his children in the past, and wants Nico to be genuinely happy despite fate’s cruelty to any child of the Underworld?
Can we just appreciate this one last fact that Hades loves Nico so much and obviously his favourite child because he knows his son suffered the most than any demigod simply because Nico is his father’s son?
For some convoluted reason, everyone suddenly starts involuntarily bursting into song “Buffy: Once More with Feeling"-style.
Everyone in the crew has their own musical number revolving around their current thoughts and issues. Donut takes care of belting out the opening number, since he has such great range. Sarge sings about building robots with Lopez. Simmons sings about his dreams and ambitions.
Grif can feel it coming but has no power to stop it and starts singing a soulful love ballad to Simmons.
For anyone confused as to why I put Miguel and Tulio: In the original script, Miguel and Tulio were a legitimate couple, with pet-names and everything. Their relationship was cut out of the final movie, but the pet-names are still in the subtitles of some DVDs. (XXX)
And I put Keith and Lance because they’re an extremely popular ship from a Dreamworks series with loads of chemistry and the audience’s interest has even been acknowledged by the creators (who also happen to have a history of lgbt rep in the things they’ve worked on).
