i think it's rough

@dreamy-94 my imagination is limited

Cinky is cute but i still can’t forgive them

to all the people who have been feeling like shit today (especialy @potterhead2468 and @studiokillersareamazing101) have a quick jeffmads sketch to brighten you day.

I haven’t finished the game yet but since Alisha’s a princess, I really wanted to see her dressed as one so tadah!

Also it’s been a while since I designed anything so I really wanted to do something fancy!

and this,
how you see yourself,
how you stare at your own face
in the mirror,
is a different kind of violence.
not bloody but still brutal,
still choking, in it’s own way.

Happy 100th Once Upon a Time!!

Okay.

*coughs a little - maybe in commemoration*

*breathes again*

Okay.

It’s okay that he’s dead.

It is - it really, really is.

It’s just - it’s not okay that there was no closure.

It’s not okay that the whole thing was presented this way.

Thing is, he didn’t have to die, y’know? I’m happy that Rukia is a Captain now. That’s well-deserved, and that makes sense, and that’s very, very good - but he didn’t have to die for that to have happened. He could have retired permanently to Ugendō, or he could have taken up a non-combat, advisory position at the First, or he could have opened a teahouse in the Seireitei - anything, really, as long as the way was clear for Rukia to wear that haori.

His death was a choice.

And we didn’t even get to see the man’s face again.

No parting words. No last, little smile. No reassurance to the Captain-Commander that everything will be all right - nothing.

We got… nothing.

And I know he’s a secondary character, and I know I’m biased because he’s my favorite, and I know that we can’t expect Kubo to treat all of his beautiful, beautiful creations with the same exact amount of respect and panel time, but… this…

This wasn’t quite the way to do it.

It came close. It wasn’t going to be easy, no matter what. And the moment we did get with Kyouraku was nice enough. (But I sort of think that moment was about Kyouraku. Not about - about - his friend.) But I wish we’d gotten something more.

I wish that I felt sad, but satisfied.

As it is, I… just feel sad.

Well.

Rest in the greatest and most extraordinary peace possible, Juu-chan. Breathe easy, for the first time in two thousand years. Watch over those you love, and those who love you.

You weren’t even real, and you changed my life.

And I’m gonna miss you.

I don't get your drinking laws. You can drive at the age of 16, your age of consent is 18 at the most, age of majority is 18 in most states. Why are you not allowed to drink? I mean people drink what they want anyway.

well if you want a real answer, it’s a relic of the prohibition era that ended in the early 1930s (and prohibition was a time in which protestants and other supposedly morally virtuous and pious groups led an enormous grassroots uprising against alcohol until it was literally banned by a constitutional amendment for over a decade.) even though the amendment banning alcohol was overturned, the higher drinking age remained, until people started to realize its inconsistencies with other rights given to adults (like the ones you mention in your message! as well as the common argument that, at that time, men age 18 were drafted to serve in the military, but …… couldn’t drink.) so then states started changing their drinking age to be lower until a big push of questionable “scientific evidence” about how a higher drinking age would cause fewer traffic accidents became super popular, and protective mothers (i’m not even joking) banded together to lobby for a new law that would punish states for lowering their drinking age below 21. and we’re still stuck w that law today :-) fun facts yo

Psiiiiiiii!  I’ve drawn him before as he is during current story events, but before he was the Condesce’s private trophy he was a skinny, fighty little asshole from the the distant hot reaches of the empire. UwU

i think its interesting that the way meiko wants people to deal w/ her problems at the end of confession is the same way yamato tries to deal with taichi’s problems during reunion.

I've never seen Leverage but I'm starting to think I should should?

I think it’s a great show! It has its rough parts but it’s overall pretty enjoyable, and has a great quasi-canonical OT3 (it would have been canon but the showrunner couldn’t convince the network to go for it).
