i think it turned out pretty cool

Inktober #19: THIS TOOK A LOT LONGER THAN I THOUGHT!

I did have a couple backup drawings after all, but I couldn’t resist sharing this one. As I said before, this game finally got to me. It seems like the story is actually taking really interesting twists and turns now.

I was really worried about how “real Alice” would come out. If it isn’t obvious I’ve always been really lazy about making myself draw realistic humans. I’m more of a “critter toon” person. While Alice isn’t the most realistic of humans, she’s the most realistic character we’ve come across so far in the game. So hey, I think I did a pretty good job! I probably messed up the sizing of different characters. I thought it would be cool if “real Bendy” was the tallest while cartoon Bendy is the shortest (though the latter seems to be correct).

Captain Cool returns!

Finally finished with this one, I think it turned out pretty good! I was gonna blend the colors together, but I think it looks cool unblended. :D

I modeled this photo after the one on Sean’s insta btw

A dump of some sketches I’ve done based around a self indulgent little idea I had.

One of the previous incarnations of Voltron (it could’ve been in the original 84 version, but I don’t know as much about the past versions as I do the current show) I believe had introduced the concept of cadet squads for the team. I liked this idea even when season 1 of Voltron: Legendary Defender came out and was first learning about the original and older reboots from my older brother (who did grow up watching the 84 version). After seeing season 3, though, the idea has even more merit with how the team was struggling and juggling finding new paladins.

Something that I think would be cool is if - after the war against the Galra Empire is over  - the team starts up cadet squads to train future pilots of Voltron, and possibly just have a backup team or two in the wings just in case of emergency. Perhaps something akin to how Power Rangers S.P.D. handled the concept of training future rangers with a B-Squad, C-Squad and etc. So I thought of a few characters who might be possible candidates for it and ended up drawing these.

Prince Lotor and his generals I decided on for two reasons: one being they pretty much have the perfect dynamic and team already built for something like Voltron (whether we get to see an evil version of Voltron in the show is up for debate but I think it’d be cool) and second being that, for personal theory reasons I may make a post about at a later point, I think there’s a possibility for Lotor and his generals to turn good and join Voltron.

Nyma was based on her previous encounter with Lance, Shay is pretty obvious, and Klaizap is because of his interactions with Keith, and how Keith himself was quick to point out how he was Arus’s strongest warrior.

Request: anonymous asked:
Ooh I love angst!! Can you do something where the reader has a huge crush on peter but he likes Liz and he asks her out on date and he asks the reader for help with everything so she basically plans the whole thing for him and he keeps saying things like “wow ur such a good friend” and out of jealousy she asks Flash on a date and they start to go out and Peter says he’s not good enough for her and they get into a huge argument and deicde it’s better if they stop being friends…

Part 1   Part 3

You tucked your hands under your arms as you anxiously waited by the curb. The crisp night air was brushing against your face. You checked your watch for probably the thousandth time. Even though there were still a good five minutes until seven, a different kind of cold began to grow in your stomach. The confidence you had when you started this mess was nowhere to be found.

What if he didn’t show up? You must look like such a hopeful idiot, waiting here on the curb in the nicest shit you could dig up from your mediocre closet. Maybe you overstepped yourself. What if you were seen as desperate? So desperate that you asked out the biggest ass in school?

This was a mistake you thought. I should just go back upstairs. He’s probably not even gonna show up anyway. But what if he does? Better I reject him rather than the other way around I guess? He does need a bit of rejection in his life.

You glanced down at your watch again. Two minutes. You’d wait here two minutes more. Give Flash at least one minute past seven, then that’s it. If he wasn’t here, you were going back up. You’d have to find some other way to distract yourself.

Just as you thought this, a flash of silver zoomed into your vision, screeching to a halt right in front of you. Flash leaned his arm over to the passengers seat, nonchalantly tilting his head toward you.

“Someone ask for a hot date?” he smirked, one eyebrow raised.

“I asked to be wowed,” you scoffed, reaching for the car door. Still unsure if you were going to regret this or not, you fastened your seatbelt. You didn’t hear Flash’s reply as an odd feeling washed over you, like you were being watched. You glanced around uneasily, but passed it off as maybe you were just really really nervous. “Let’s just get this show on the road, shall we?”

Unbeknownst to you, as the convertible peeled away, a figure leapt from a roof, swinging a safe distance behind it.

Peter watched grimly from the rooftop across the street as you turned back to smile and wave. He was relieved that there no sincerity in it at all. However, even with that comfort, he still couldn’t believe you had actually gone through with it. You had actually gone on a date with Flash. Goddamn fucking Flash.

He waited a little while after he saw the light turn on in your bedroom window. He did feel a little guilty for ‘tagging along’ the whole night. But it was for your safety, because he still cared, that’s all. Well maybe it was a little more than ‘just caring’, but he refused to acknowledge any more than that as he fired a web, headed home.

Those good ol’ crappy Monday blues washed over you as you yawned, lazily shutting your locker. Trudging to the cafeteria, you met Ned along the way.

“So,” he prodded, “how was it?”

You shrugged, “It was distracting.”

“Like actually? Like you didn’t think about you-know-who at all?”

“No, keep your voice down!” you hissed. “But yeah it surprisingly was really distracting, acting interested in his lavish, spoiled-brat life. The food helped too; it was all soooooo good.”

“Damn. Expensive though?”

“Hoooo yeah.”

“So, what? Are you gonna do it again since it worked? Is it even worth it?”

“Probably,” you replied. You felt a little guilty, using someone like this (even if it was Flash). As soon as you both had sat down at your usual spot, that raspy voice plopped down next you.

“Hey there, beautiful,” Flash leaned his elbow on the table, trying to appear cool.

You had to keep from laughing. “Hey, Flash,” you dragged out each vowel, hoping you didn’t sound too annoyed.

“So… Friday… I’d say you were pretty wowed, weren’t you?” Pausing from pulling out your lunch, you dramatically cocked your head, thinking. You could feel Peter’s eyes on you from two tables away.

“A little,” you sighed, turning to face Flash. “Your choice in venue was the only thing that really wowed me. That and the food.” He raised an eyebrow. “I dunno, I guess I just expected a little more, considering how much you boast about you being such a ‘great date’—”

“Hm, not easily impressed I see,” he squinted at you. “Wouldn’t have pegged you for the picky type, (Y/N).”

You chuckled, smirking, “You’d be surprised, Flash.” You met his eyes, silently challenging him. Knowing there was no way your confession of ‘not being wowed’ didn’t offend him, you waited for his offer.

“Well, I got a sort of reputation to uphold, and I can’t have anyone less than impressed at my… wooing skills,” he began. Ned had to stifle a snort, averting his eyes from Flash’s glare. It was painfully obvious how suave he trying to appear. “How’s about same time this Friday?”

You raised your eyebrows, borderline flirtatiously (gasp! something you never did unless it was unconsciously to Peter), “I expect to be wowed.”

Flash swung his legs from under the table, spinning up, “Oh, and uh, don’t worry about what to wear; I’ll send you something nice,” he called back as he strolled away.

Eyebrows raised, impressed and somewhat uneasy, you turned back to Ned. He had the same expression on his face. You both exhaled, laughing in shock.

“Damn, (Y/N), I didn’t know you had game!” Ned snickered. “Got Flash frickin Thompson wrapped around your finger!”

A heat crept to your cheeks as you slapped his arm, hissing, “Dude!”

As you giggled, you caught a quick sight of those warm doe eyes out of the corner of your own. Instantly your cheeks fell and your lips pursed into a grimace. That blunt stabbing gnawed your gut. In that one short millisecond, you both connected for the first time in months through the same unacknowledged agony and heartache. Peter had quickly averted his gaze but you had already seen it. That sadness, that anger, and was that… regret? Everything you saw in him, you were all too familiar with.

Peter turned to Liz with a small grin that didn’t reach his eyes. He wasn’t just jealous; he was hurting. Just like you were. But you realized you didn’t feel the satisfaction you were craving. Peter was wearing that face that so often would cause you to immediately be ready to fight whoever/whatever made him like that. And now it was because of you. Hanging your head down, you felt the guilt settle in your stomach, wishing you hadn’t brought that upon him.

If Peter had laser vision, Flash head would have two eye-sized holes in them.  “I’ll send you something nice.” That phrase echoed in Peter’s mind. Flash couldn’t do that. He couldn’t expect to just win you over by ‘sending something nice’. He looked back at you expecting to see that classic eye roll you reserved just for that asshat. Instead you laughed. You blushed. He could only register his clenched fists; the rest of his body had gone numb. His face dropped, weighed down by what felt like betrayal and sadness.

“So I guess they’re dating now?” Liz murmured, confused. “Huh. I would’ve never seen that coming.”

Peter turned to face her, trying to focus on the amazing human sat next to him. His girlfriend. Girlfriend. Odd. That word didn’t have the same ring to it as it did a few weeks ago. He was scared to realize that Liz didn’t have the same glow, either. Not like she had before. Not that she wasn’t any less beautiful, oh God no. Peter just couldn’t see her in the same light as he had when he’d so boldly and anxiously approached her that Tuesday so seemingly long ago.

Stop thinking like that, Peter told himself. None of this should be happening. He shouldn’t be experiencing what he was when he saw you. He shouldn’t be wanting to throttle Flash anymore than usual. He shouldn’t be thinking of Liz as any less than he had before. That word should have the same magical feeling to it. You and him should still be friends. Things should have never changed. There were all these things should be. But they weren’t.

WHAT AN ENTP WANTS TO SAY TO ALL OF THE TYPES.

RATIONALS (NT)

ENTJ-  You scare me. You are such and incredible leader, how do you do that?? But also I hate authority and feel a need to disagree with you at every turn because you’re so bossy. You’re not as cool as you think you are, but you’re almost as cool as you think you are and that’s pretty damn cool. Be my friend.

ENTP- Fuckin’ chill out you memelord. You’re either coasting through life or putting WAY to much effort into shit. You’re a bit of a narcissistic fuck but you’re still my favourite type (*coughs*). You’re too excitable and too much of a dick and you’re personality doesn’t make sense. Stop being mean to you’re friends. Learn to be more comfortable with emotions, it’ll be important later on in life. Be the friend that can cheer others up with jokes when they don’t really wanna talk about what’s wrong.

INTJ- You’re cool, you get shit done and you’re a bit of a supervillian. What’s not to love? You’re a rare bird. There aren’t many of you out there, but you are important. If you weren’t here, who else would the ENFP’s annoy? You’re a behind the scenes leader most of the time, pulling the strings from a safe (and smart distance) but you aren’t afraid to get you’re hands dirty. You’re good at shit. But don’t forget, you’re not superhuman. Remember other people have these pesky things called emotions, be wary of them STILL i want you to be proud of you’re inherent assholeness.

INTP-  Mad scientist. I’m constantly searching for your approval because of my unresolved daddy issues and it freaks me out. Yes, you are a daddy. Some of you have your heads shoved up a little too far in you’re own arse. Just because you’re introverted and intuitive and darn cold, does not make you better than others honey. Basically, you’re a condescending shit. But hey I still put you on this weird pedestal, so we’re both guilty. You’re the genius on tv shows that isn’t diagnosed but falls on the aspergers spectrum somewhere.

IDEALISTS (NF)

ENFJ-  Baby, I worship the ground you walk on. You are so cool, calm and controlled while still being awesome, enthusiastic and excitable. Don’t be my friend, date me. But stop trying to fix everything. Think about yourself a lil okay buddy, and use logic sometimes too. Actually scratch all that, you’re perfect, I love you.

ENFP-  You are a beautiful, annoying bastard. You’re too nice and I don’t feel comfortable making mean jokes at your expense (because you’d probably take it seriously and cry yourself to sleep), but you have effortless charm. Stop thinking about the individual and start thinking about the bigger picture, you’re not realistic. Be my friend, but not like close friend, y'know.

INFP-  Hello, the human equivalent of tumblr. Fuck. People either love you or hate you. I don’t know where I fall on that scale tbh. Sometimes you’re just a little too much honey, I’m not sensitive enough for you. Other times you are too precious for this world and I just wanna wrap you up in a blanket and protect you. I am strangely attracted to you despite how awkward you probably think you are. You have a lot of knowledge in that head of yours. Be that person I have a weird co-dependant relationship with, that really isn’t healthy but I can’t exactly live without you and I’m not sure why.

INFJ- Ah INFJ, I haven’t met many of you but BOY, are the ones I know pretentious. You’re one of the least common MBTI type, and you probably know and take pride in this. You’re good at reading people, I know, but you can just talk to me instead of analyse from a distance bud. You’re ultimately very cool and creative, a little bit of a know it all but it’s justified. You’re a sweet bundle of joy and I love you. Be my best friend. You’re good at being a friend. Really good.

GAURDIANS (SP)

ESFP-  I like you a lot kid, you remind me of a younger me. We shouldn’t get along but I love/envy you. You’re caring and you have a great childlike spirit. Make some art and ramble to me some more. I seriously appreciate you so much. You bring me back down to  the ‘now’ with you’re crazy impulsive attitude and caring demeanour. Just learn to listen to me a lil more when I tell you you’re thinking with you’re heart instead of you’re brain again. You do it a lot, buddy. Be my lover.

ESTP-  You’re cool man. You’re Ferris Bueler. You’re a salesman that’s constantly selling me on your personality. Look we get it, you’re good with one liners and you’re athletic and everyone loves you, but also hey, think about others you little sociopathic flirt. Also, sometimes people really DO know more than you, I know! Crazy. Be my Idol.

ISFP-  You probably reaallly like music. Chill out buddy, I don’t know much about you but you seem stressed and too fierce for ur adorable demeanour. I know you are your own individual beautiful creative person, you don’t need to tell me. People DO care about you, i know sometimes you doubt that, but you got this life in the bad. You’ll probably never grow out of your angsty teen years tbh but it’s okay, find yourself an ISFJ and you’ll be okay.

ISTP-  So you’re just as cool but less attainable, loner ESTP. You’re in control of your own everything but also out of control and mildly self destructive? Be the mysterious kid I rarely talk to, but everytime I do I fall in love with you a little bit.

ARTISANS (SJ)

ESFJ-  Hey there soldier. In the best case scenario, you’re cutie Monica Geller, that’s a lil anal and mildly manipulative but really! very! sweet!. In the worst case scenario you are literally my worst nightmare. Your the squad’s glue tho. Sometimes you offer a cool third perspective, but you over simplify things and don’t try to understand my crazy theories and that’s annoying. Learn to get over yourself a lil, stop playing the victim buddy and compromise. Be my friend in a few years when you learn to self reflect better.

ESTJ-  You’re a manipulative bitch. You’re so judgemental, you’re Rachel McAdams in Mean Girls. You’re pretty cool. Even more of a rampant psycho than ENTJ. I don’t like you all that much (and something tells me you don’t really care) but I respect you a LOT. Stay a safe distance away from me and please don’t judge me. You’re too savage.

ISFJ-  Hey my emo saviour. You understand everybody and nobody truly understands you. You’re the reliable Colin Firth that the world of Bridget Jones’s run to after their crazy escapades with Hugh Grant. Just remember to have standards baby, and don’t accept everyone that runs into you’re arms. You’re worth more than what most people are willing to give. Be my favourite sweet emotional little kid brother (even if you are female.)

ISTJ-  You say 'interesting’ a lot. If life were a tv show, you’d be a sassy little hate muffin that tumblr idolised that everyone would remark didnt get enough screen time. You’re all business and sometimes you should let down that gaurd fam :) Think about people a little bit more bud. I respect you. I’ll be your friend! But it will probably take three years to build up our relationship and it will probably be accidental, but im here for u anyway.

Car Radio Drive
Halsey / Twenty One Pilots
Car Radio Drive

I discovered these two artists within a week of each other and I thought these songs might be soul mates. So I smushed them together like pb&j.

This is my original mashup but the songs I used are by Halsey and Twenty One Pilots. You know that. I know you know that. But I don’t want to get in trouble.

Enjoy! This was fun to make and I think it turned out pretty cool.

@p0sterboy made this album artwork for the mashup and it is AWESOME.

No Regrets

An Adrienette one-shot

“Girl, why are you in such a rush?” Alya asked, watching her best friend gather her things in a hurry.

“I forgot about something!” Marinette fretted, dropping her bag in the process. Which caused all the things she’d gathered to spill out.  “Shoot,” she muttered under her breath, “I’m such a klutz!”

“Whoa, girl, relax.  What could you have forgotten about that can cause this much panic?  I haven’t seen you this scatter-brained since high school!” Alya astonished, joining Marinette on the ground to help her clean up.

Marinette sighed, putting the final piece in her bag again and looked at Alya.  They were both knelt down on the floor and Marinette blew a piece of hair from her face.  “I—Well… I’m meeting Adrien.”

Alya gave her a deadpanned look.  “With whom you’re married to… what’s the big deal about meeting with your husband?” she asked.

“It’s not the meeting with him part, it’s just—ya know.  We’re looking for a house… and… I dunno,” Marinette dug through her bag for her keys, mumbling something about needing a brighter keychain.

Alya looked at the table they had been sitting at to see her friend’s keys lying there.  She picked them up and jingled them in front of Marinette’s distracted face.  “Here,” she said, hearing Marinette utter out a “Thank you.”  Alya crossed her arms and stared curiously at her friend.  “What’s the big deal?  You’re looking for a house.  Something every married couple does… Haven’t you dreamed about this for like, your whole life, or something?” Alya asked.

Marinette shrugged and looked away from her friend, “Well, I mean, yeah.  But, like, it’s still a little soon, isn’t it?”

Alya furrowed her brows, “You’ve been married for 3 months.  So no, it’s not ‘too soon.’  Getting a house is good.  You’ve been crashing in his mouse-sized apartment, which, if I do recall, doesn’t allow for a roommate.”

Marinette bit her fingers, “Yeah, we’ve been ignoring the calls about that…”

“What’s the real issue here?” Alya asked, reaching out for Marinette’s shoulder, “Are you alright?”

Marinette slid from her grasp, looking worriedly at her phone.  “Y-you’re probably right!  I’m just crazy.  This is Adrien,” she said as she lifted her phone, “Gotta take it!”

Alya watched her friend go with a wild expression, “Oh…kay… see ya later, then?”

Marinette pushed the coffee shop door open with her shoulder, holding her phone in one hand and her drink in the other.  “Hey, hon,” she said, “Yeah, I’m on my way.  No, I didn’t forget, I’m just running a bit late.  Yeah, bad traffic.  Uh huh.  Okay.  Yup, see you in a few.  I love you too.  Bye.”  She hung up and stuffed her phone in her purse, grabbing her keys and hopping into her car.

“Alya’s right,” she told herself, “This is good.”

-o-o-o-o-

“Okay, on to house number three!” Adrien said enthusiastically, buckling up his seat-belt.  “That last one was cool, though, huh?  What did you think, Mari?  You were pretty quiet in there…”  He looked over at his wife to see her staring numbly out the window.  “Marinette?”

She blinked and turned to him, looking dazed, “I’m sorry, I was zoned out.  What?” She asked.

Adrien frowned, “I asked if you were okay,” he said, reaching out to touch her forehead.  “Are you sick?  Do you have a fever?  Maybe we should go home…”

“Oh no, I’m not sick,” Marinette brushed him off.  “Tired is all.”

“You sure?” he asked.

“Positive,” she smiled at him.

“Alright.  So, what’d you think of the house?” he asked.

“It was okay,” she said.  “It’s expensive, though.”

Adrien shrugged, “Well, money’s not an issue, so don’t pay attention to the price tag, okay?  We’ll get whatever we need and whatever works.”

Marinette looked at her husband with a clumsy smile, “The money you got from your father is suppose to be for retirement, isn’t it?  That was your plan, right?”

Adrien looked at her with a gentle smile before looking back at the road, “Plans can change.”

Anxiety squeezed Marinette’s chest, “You should save it.”

“Mari, don’t worry.  Even if we went all in and bought the whole house now, I’d still have plenty left over.  Besides, I’m gonna put what we don’t spend in a retirement plan.”  He reached out to touch her knee gently, “Your worried, and it isn’t about the money…”

“I’m not worried, it’s just an expensive house—“

“Marinette, what’s wrong?” he came to a stop at a street light.

“Nothing,” she said, crossing her arms stubbornly.

“Come on, Mari, what’s eating at you?” He pushed.

She nodded towards the windshield of the car, “The light’s green.”

He huffed, “I’m not going until you tell me what’s wrong.”

“Adrien you can’t—there’s people behind us,” she turned around in her seat to see a frustrated wave from the car behind them followed by a honk.  “Adrien, seriously!  Go!”

“Not until you tell me what’s wrong.  Normally I wouldn’t push because I don’t need to know sometimes, but this is clearly about us, and that I should know.  So what’s wrong?” He pushed the car into park to prove his point.

“Adrien, we don’t have time—“

“Are you having regrets?” he blurted out, his voice calm.  Marinette knew this voice, but she’d never personally experienced it.  It was his business voice.  The voice he used at professional parties, or conversations with co-workers.  It was his father’s voice.

“…Regrets?” She repeated numbly, looking him in the eye.  The angry honks and yells began to fade out.

He nodded, “Yeah, regrets.  About us,” his eyes and face stoic; he was like a wall.  But Marinette could see clearly behind it.  He was hurt.

“N-no!  No, of course not!  I could never regret this,” she gestured between them.  “It’s just…”

“What?”

“Will you?” she ask carefully.  Looking away from him.

“Will I what?” He asked, tilting his head.  His once calm voice became lathered in frustrated confusion.  A car swerved around them, giving them a pleasant curse and honk as he passed, followed by more cars.

“Will you regret this?” she asked.  He didn’t respond.  “Maybe not now, and maybe not next year or the year after that, but… maybe in ten years.  When I’m older, and less exciting.  Maybe you’ll look back at it all and realize that it was when you decided to marry me that things started to go wrong.  That, in ten years you’ll regret loving me and how you bought a fancy house and used up your money,” she hadn’t noticed until now, but she was crying.  She could tell because a tear had fallen onto her hand.  “After all, you said it yourself!  Plans change, and I don’t want you to regret this—“

She felt large hands envelop her own small ones.  She didn’t dare look up to see the man who was holding them though.  She couldn’t.

“Hey,” he said gently, leaning over to kiss her wet cheek.  “I could never regret this,” he said, but she looked unconvinced, offering him a lazy shrug and a mumbled, “Maybe.”

“I love you,” he said, baffled.  She didn’t move.  He huffed, thinking of what to say.  “Now, if I remember correctly,” he began, “I had a crush on you first,” he said.

“You had a crush on Ladybug, not Marinette,” she pointed out.

“And you had a crush on a model, not Chat Noir,” he countered.  “I agree, things can change.  We changed, but it was for the better, right?”

“But—“

“For better or worse,” he repeated their wedding vows.  “Now, I take that seriously.  Even if there comes a ‘worse,’ I’ll never regret it.  Because I love you.  We chose each other.”  He gently pulled her chin to look her in the eyes.  “The only thing I could ever regret would be not marrying you.  To not share a life with you.  To have kids and grow old with you.”

She blinked and smiled at him, “Kids?” she asked.

“Kids,” he nodded, glad she was smiling.  “I’m serious, Mari.  About you.  About this.”

She leaned in to kiss him.  Soft and sweet, short and simple.  “Thank you,” she mumbled.

He kissed her nose and leaned back.  “But,” he said, putting their car back in drive and looking to see the light had turned red again.  “If Nino confesses his love to me, I may just run into the sunset with him,” he said, acting serious.

“Oh my gosh,” Marinette shoved him with a laugh, “You’re a dork.”

“But you love me,” he winked at her.

“Maybe…” she rolled her eyes playfully.

“And I love you.”

“Yeah,” she smiled.

A/N: THIS IS SO BAD PLS DONT FIGHT ME I’ve been so busy and nothing was coming to me so I tried my best :’)

This is just kinda something to break up my mini hiatus so I’m not going to add the tags to this one !! (p.s 70 days until Halloween)

“Peter, would you stop spacing out and pay attention to me for a second?” Ned’s voice snapped Peter out of his daydream and he quickly looked up to see he best friend waving at him. Ned had been going on and on about his project for Robotics Lab so eventually Peter had just tuned him out.

“Yeah, yeah,” he said. “I am paying attention. What’s up?” Ned let out a long sigh and pointed over to the group of girls standing in the lunch line. Peter noticed almost immediately that you were one of the members of the group and averted his eyes. You looked really nice today with your hair pulled back and he felt his face begin to heat up.

“I heard that there’s going to be an awesome Halloween party at Bethany’s house tonight. Y/N is friends with her so I was thinking we could ask her to score us some invites?” Ned explained. You, Ned, and Peter had American Literature together and all got along really well. You had your other friends, of course, but you also liked to hang out with the two of them whenever you could. You had a lot of things in common with them surprisingly, and Peter felt a connection with you right away. He had developed quite the crush on you, although you were oblivious to it.

“I don’t know, Ned,” he said, pushing the thoughts out of his mind. “Parties aren’t really our thing.”

“But Y/N will be there!” he exclaimed. “We haven’t seen her outside of school in so long. Besides, it’s a costume party. You know how much I love those!”

“Fine,” Peter finally gave in, “but you have to be the one to ask her.” Ned beamed and waited until you looked in their direction before flailing his arms around to get your attention. You laughed, quickly excusing yourself to go and talk to him.

“Hey guys,” you said with a grin. “What’s going on? If you’re gonna ask to copy my English homework you’re out of luck because I didn’t do it either.” Peter’s heart rate was doubling as each moment passed, and he tried his best not to stare.

“Actually, it’s about Bethany’s party!” Ned piped up. “Are you going to be there?”

“I sure am!” you replied. “My friends and I are all coordinating our costumes, it’s gonna be fun. Are you two going? It would be so great to see you there.”

“W-we don’t have an official invite,” Peter stammered. Your smile grew even wider, making his stomach flip.

“Well then, consider this it,” you laughed. “You have to go in costume though. It’s a tradition and, as weird as it seems, you’d stick out more if you weren’t wearing something dumb.” The bell rang as you finished, cutting your conversation short. You waved goodbye to them, leaving Peter staring after you in awe. He couldn’t believe that he was actually going through with this. He could vaguely hear Ned babbling endlessly about last minute costume ideas, but he was only half listening since you were occupying all of his thoughts.

Peter had no idea how he found himself standing at the front door of some random girl’s house wearing a Luke Skywalker costume later that night, but for some reason he did. He turned to Ned, who was dressed as a very unconvincing Yoda. He was a jumble of nerves, feeling extremely self conscious, meanwhile Ned was having the time of his life. It was finally an excuse for him to whip out his Star Wars merchandise and he couldn’t have been more excited. Peter reached out and hesitantly rang the doorbell, already regretting every decision he had made thus far. His breath caught in his throat when you were the one to answer the door.

“Peter! Ned! I’m so glad you guys made it!” you exclaimed happily. Peter couldn’t help but stare, his jaw dropping. You were wearing a skin tight Spider-Man body suit with thigh-high boots, showing off every single one of your assets. Your eyes gleamed from behind your small mask and Peter noticed the slight tinge of pink on your cheeks. He suddenly realized that he had been staring shamelessly and tore his eyes away, embarrassed.

“H-hi Y/N,” he said, trying to keep things casual. “Nice costume. I uh… I didn’t know you liked Spider-Man. That’s cool, he seems like a good guy.” Ned nudged him a little, and Peter quickly stopped talking.

“Oh, yeah,” you laughed. “My idea was that my friends and I should go as the Avengers, but as you can see they took it a little differently. Technically I don’t think Spider-Man counts, but I really like him so that’s who I picked. I think it turned out pretty cute, you like it?”

“Y-yeah I think it’s… nice,” Peter squeaked. He cleared his throat, cringing at his own awkwardness. You giggled and let them inside, leading them into the kitchen. You were talking with Ned about something relating to The Force Awakens, but Peter couldn’t focus. He was totally distracted by the way you walked, the way your outfit accentuated your curves, and just generally how fantastic you looked in the Spider-Man suit. His suit. Well, something similar to it at least.

“What do you think Peter?” you asked, looking at him expectantly. He froze, not having any idea what you had been talking about. His mind went blank and he started to panic a little.

“Sorry, could you excuse me for a second?” he said breathlessly, turning and rushing past you.

“I should probably go after him,” Ned said to you as you watched him leave. “Parties aren’t really his thing. We’ll be back in a little bit.” He went off in pursuit of his friend, already knowing exactly what was going on. Peter found an unoccupied room and ducked inside, running his hands through his hair. He jumped when the door opened, but relaxed when he saw it was Ned. They stood in silence for a moment, just sort of letting him cool down.

“Peter, you have to tell her you’re Spider-Man!” Ned blurted out.

“Shh!” Peter gave him a severe look and looked around nervously. “What if somebody hears you?”

“But this is the perfect time!” he whined. “You heard her, she really likes you! Besides, you haven’t taken your eyes off of her ass since we got here. You have to make a move.”

“You’re crazy,” Peter said, although he had to admit he was considering it. Ned noticed this and his face lit up.

“I’ll tell her to meet you outside down the road in 5 minutes. Now’s your chance, Parker! Don’t blow it.” He ran out of the room, leaving Peter there with really no other options. He fumbled with his costume, pulling the suit out from his backpack that he never left home without. With the suit on he felt a lot more sure of himself and carefully climbed out the window quietly. From up on the roof he could see you walking outside, shivering a little in the cold October air. You stumbled a bit, still not used to walking in your heels. Peter smiled as he watched you go. He slowly followed, careful not to make his presence known.

“Hello?” you called, a little on edge since it had already gotten pretty dark. You tugged nervously on your costume, the tight fabric starting to chafe a little. Peter took a deep breath and built up the confidence to say something.

“Uh… hi,” he said, trying to pose in a non-creepy way as if he hadn’t been following her.

“Oh, you’re here!” you exclaimed as you whirled around but stopped dead when you saw it was Spider-Man. It wasn’t even one of those cheap costumes, it was the actual Spider-Man. You recognized all of the details of the suit, details that couldn’t be replicated. Your eyes widened and you quickly pulled the mask that you wore off.

“I-I think that’s one hell of a costume,” he said. “I’m not sure if I’d wear it, but the effort was there.”

“Sorry, is this weird for you? I mean, I bet it is. I didn’t mean for it to be offensive but I also wasn’t really expecting to see Spider-Man out here, you know? I can take it off. No, actually I can’t that would make it so much worse.” you rambled nervously. Behind his mask Peter couldn’t have been smiling any wider. Seeing you so flustered and shocked was really cute and he was loving it.

“I’m not offended at all, it’s the opposite really,” he laughed. “Why are you out here all by yourself without a jacket?”

“I’m actually waiting for someone,” you told him. “He’s great. He’s in my class and we’re friends but I want to ask him if he wants to go out- Oh wait, sorry you probably don’t care about that part. Forget I said that.” Now it was Peter’s turn to be flustered.

“No, no it’s fine! Do you… Do you like him?”

“I mean, a little,” you admitted. “Don’t tell him, okay? Not that you would, you’re Spider-Man, but still.” Peter nodded slowly, taking a step back.

“Your secret is safe with me,” he said. “I have to go, I think I hear someone calling for help…” He looked behind his shoulder, pretending to pick up on something.

“I don’t hear anything,” you said curiously.

“No, trust me. Someone’s having a bad night, I should go help. Good luck with that Peter guy, I’m sure he’s nice. Hope things work out.” With that, he shot off into the trees leaving you there alone. You flipped your mask over in your hands, trying to ignore the fact that you had never mentioned Peter’s name to him and that Spider-Man had a very similar voice.

Regarding the Skinks

The skinks are doing fine! They have learned to hunt and hide. They come out a lot to bask on the rock on the warm side of the tank. None of them have dropped their tails yet and none of them have gotten hurt. We did have to release most of them because it was getting crowded and the bigger ones were starting to get a little nippy with the others over food. Out of the 11 skinks we let 7 of them go close to where we found them. Luckily there is a lot of water, bugs, and shelter for them so they will be okay. One of them even came back and started living in our garage :) We kept the sweetest 4 out of the bunch to watch grow a little longer. I watch them bask and climb the plants everyday. So I’m glad to report that they are doing well!

Are they blue tailed skinks? Yes and no.

I actually had a few people ( @craigsdicks, @ionlylooklikeahipster, @blueelectricangels ) tell me that these are actually five-lined skinks, not blue tailed skinks. I found out that five-lined skinks are a genus of the blue tailed skink and are more plentiful in North America. Blue tailed skinks are found on Christmas Island in Australia. So people (like me) tend to get the two confused when trying to identify them because the baby five-lines look like the blue tails. Turns out that the five-lined skinks will lose their blue color as they grow older and turn more brown with orange.

Thank you for telling me this! I really appreciate your concern for them. One of the people mentioned earlier brought this up as well.

While I live in America, I wanted to share this anyway because I think it is important and this person worded it better than I could. These cute little guys are at risk in Canada, so if you see one in the wild leave it be. If you see one out of the wild contact your local wildlife rescue.

(Side note on this particular reblog, reptiles are pretty cool. And if you are a person who thinks they are icky, that’s no reason to destroy the eggs. You would be personally killing babies who haven’t even had a chance, and depending on what stage the eggs are in, they definitely are aware and moving. With the eggs I took in, they would react to being picked up or having light shone through the egg by wiggling. So if you come across eggs of a wild animal you don’t absolutely love, don’t be a jerk. They have as much right to live as you do.)

Thank you all for checking up on the babies!

Is That My Shirt? (E.D) Part 1

Summary: You’re the twins assistant, and while they were in Jersey visiting their family and friends, you were back in LA handling all the business stuff. What you didn’t know was they were coming home earlier than planned, so maybe dancing around half naked in their apartment wasn’t such a great idea. Or was it?

Warnings: None.

A/N: This was all @ddolanss idea, I’m just writing it lol. Hopefully I did it justice! Lemme know what you guys think! <3

There will be a part 2 to this ;) …

* * The twins are 19 in this. * *

Reader’s POV

I was just a normal girl attending college here in LA at UCLA. Struggling to balance keeping up with my classes, and a shitty full time job as a waitress. It was stressful, but I needed to pay for tuition somehow. I was on Facetime with my parents one day, and they ended up telling me about this pretty cool job that they’ve heard about through one of their friends. Turns out their friend was a cousin of some guy who happens to be a security guard for some twins called The Dolan Twins, and apparently they were pretty big YouTubers. My parents told me their manager was looking for a personal assistant for them, and I guess my parents friend must’ve put in a few good words, because next thing I knew I was contacted by the boys manager.

Now here I am!

A year later, and I was finishing up my last year in college. I was no longer a waitress. Instead I was a personal assistant to two of the coolest dudes ever! Not to mention the hottest guys I’ve ever met! Ethan and Grayson Dolan, also known as The Dolan Twins. I remember when I first met them, I had a hard time believing they were only 19. They looked like they were around my age, either 23 or somewhere in their early 20s. They were the hottest and fittest 19 year olds I’ve ever met. Especially Ethan. But I knew that I needed to keep things professional, so I immediately pushed all the dirty, kinky thoughts right out of my head.

“Dude, no, I’m not doing that stupid shit.” Shawn shrugs the paper off, rejecting the idea.

Brian looks at him confused, but retracts the paper nonetheless.

“Shawn, you’ve done it every year. Why would this year be any different?” Ian asks, almost just as confused as Brian, if not more.

Shawn bites his lip and pushes a hand through his hair.

“No reason, just don’t feel like it.”

However, there was a reason, and that reason was you. Shawn has had a crush on you since he was ten, literally; you were invited to his tenth birthday party (he had invited the entire class), and the second you walked through the door, he was absolutely convinced that he was in love with you.

Churro-Boy

Pairing: Peter Parker x Reader

Warnings: Besides a curse word here and there and some awkward fluff, nothing much

A/N: I don’t know where this idea came from but I definitely took some inspiration from a churro I ate earlier

word count: 1.8k

“Mom,” I said banging my hand against the trunk of our parked car, “MOM!”

After school, my mother and I went grocery shopping, and I was currently trying to get her attention from the back of the car to the front seat where she was happily chatting away to god knows who on the phone. When my mom talks on the phone, it seems as though she never stops talking, and it’s almost impossible for me to get her attention.

My mother huffed from the front seat and pulled the switch that opened the trunk.

“Thank you,” I muttered to myself.

I pulled the trunk all the way up and began to formulate a plan to get most -if not all- of the bags out of the car. Ya girl is not taking more than one trip to the eighth floor of this apartment building.

As I started loading multiple bags on each arm, my mom finally decided to step out of the car and help me.

“Ok. Uh huh,” my mother laughed, “Yeah, okay, bye now! Mmhm, of course! Bye bye now, bye.”

“I lost count of how many times you said ‘bye’,” I joked to my mom as she helped with the rest of the bags.

“So now my kid thinks she’s a comedian huh,” she teased playfully, closing the trunk in the process.

“I’m no Kevin Hart, but I try,” I shrugged.

My mom rolled her eyes and led us to the apartment.

“Can you wake me up when dinner is ready? I’m gunna take a nap,” I told my mom after I helped unload some of the groceries.

“A nap? It’s 4 in the afternoon,” my mom questioned me as she started taking pans out to cook with.

“Yeah, well all that exercise today really tired me out,” I said.

“Are you talking about school or taking up the groceries just now?” she said while quirking an eyebrow.

“Both,” I smiled.

“Don’t you have homework to do?” she further prodded.

Mother,” I sighed dramatically and placed my hand on my chest, “you know I am most productive when the sun goes down.”

I call my mom “Mother” when I want to be dramatic -which is quite often if I’m being honest. But it seemed to work because she laughed and finally gave in.

“Alright, but I’m not letting you take those four-hour-long naps, just until dinner is ready, okay?” she scolded me.

“If dinner happens to take you four hours to make then..” I said walking away to my room down the hall.

“I heard that young lady!” my mom called from back in the kitchen.

I grinned to myself and dropped my backpack at the foot of my bed. I took my shoes off and sighed contently.

Finally, I thought to myself, I can nap my problems away. Said problems being a test I have on Friday -two days from now.

My window blinds were still open from this morning, so I decided to shut them; however, it felt real stuffy in here so I opened the window to let that New York breeze in.

“That’s better,” I said out loud to myself.

I suddenly became conscious when I heard talking. Grumbling into my pillow, I was hoping that whoever was talking would, I don’t know, stop.

I am too comfy to move, I thought sadly to myself.

I turned over and hoped that I could fall back asleep, but god damn, this person would not. stop. talking. I grabbed my phone from my night stand and saw that I only slept about 50 minutes.

Not even an hour, I sighed.

Furrowing my brows, I realized that the talking was coming from outside my window. My window? Who the hell is on my fire escape? My eyes widened at the thought of a potential burglar. I did the first thing that came to mind and grabbed my baseball bat that I kept under my bed. If there is anything I can learn from Stiles Stilinski, it’s that a baseball bat always comes in handy. I also had 911 dialed on my phone -just in case. I didn’t want to call the cops until I knew for sure. I mean, It could be my down stairs neighbor talking loudly on their fire escape, right?

I crept to my window slowly and quietly across the carpet. The talking got louder and my anxiety got stronger. I tightened my grip on the bat in one hand and shoved my phone into my back pocket once I got to my window sill. I decided to rip the band-aid and just pulled my blinds up really fast. I heard a yelp immediately and stared in shock at the sight in front of me.

“What the fuck,” I whispered, my heart hammering in my chest.

Sitting on the rail of my fire escape was some dude in red and blue tights. He looked like he dropped something and reached for it. I gasped in shock because this guy is seriously about to fall to his death because of a-

“My churro!” he cried as he reached for it with one hand.

He grabbed his churro and shoved his phone into his belt? What in god’s name is he wearing? And how did he do that?

My brain finally caught up and I realized that he practically stuck to the side of my fire escape. He fumbled with his mask and tugged it down. Then he climbed over the railing -as if he’s done this several times- and gave me a wave.

“Uhh hel-,” he cleared his throat and tried to sound deeper, “hello there mam, how ya doin’?”

I waved my bat at him and said, “How did you do that, how- how did you get up here and why are you wearing a- what are you wearing?”

He shuffled on his feet and raised his arms at me, “Whoah whoah whoah, okay there Babe Ruth, let’s take it easy, yeah?”

I raised my brow at him skeptically and mumbled, “You don’t look like a burglar.”

“A burglar? What? I’m, I’m not a burglar, I’m Spider-Man!” he said, almost sounding offended.

Spider-Man? Oh my god, I know this dude! How could I forget that video of him stopping that bus? It was all over school the next day.

“Wait, you’re the guy from Youtube? You look different. And you sound more like a Spider-Boy. Spider-Kid? Spider-Guy?” I rambled stupidly. I was starting to calm down. This guy didn’t seem like a threat to me; especially when he was waving that churro around at me as he talked.

Man, okay? Spider-Man. With a hyphen,” he said, trying to use that deep voice again.

I set my bat down and propped my elbows against the sill, resting one of my hands under my chin, “Yeah. Okay, Churro Boy. Oh, I mean Churro-Boy with a hyphen.”

“Churro- you know what, I don’t have time for this,” he mumbled in his regular voice, starting to leap over my rail.

“Wait!” I called out to him.

Why did I do that?

He turned to me, waiting for me to say something.

“Is that a new,” I paused thinking of the right word, “suit?”

“Yeah!” he said, perking up and stepping back down, “It’s sort of a new upgrade, it’s pretty cool. Way cooler compared to my old one at least”

Must’ve said the right thing. I almost said costume. Maybe that would have offended him..

Well, it definitely seems cooler,” I smiled slightly, “anyway, next time you wanna talk to your -whoever- on my balcony, can you warn me? I was trying to nap and you talk…a lot.”

If I wasn’t mistaken, it seemed like he was blushing under that mask; he stumbled over his next words.

“Oh, uh, god I’m sorry, I didn’t realize that someone was in there -I mean usually I just go unnoticed when I do stuff like this, which is pretty often. Surprisingly. The crime rate seems to be low in Queens, and it’s Queens! You’d expect a little more action around here, don’t ya think? I gave an old lady directions today and she gave me a churro,” he laughed lightly, scratching the back of his neck when he realized he was rambling, “oh wow I do talk a lot don’t I? Sorry…again.”

He is so cute. What? No, what am I thinking? Stop it Y/N. His voice isn’t nice or cute and the rambling is annoying! Definitely NOT adorable!

You’re fine, it’s fine. I tend to ramble a lot too when I’m nervous,” my eyes widened as I lost my cool demeanor. “I’m not saying you’re nervous though. Maybe you are? I mean, you almost dropped your churro and that was…scary,” I laughed awkwardly. “I’m Y/N by the way,”

I stuck my hand out through the window and he clasped it with his own, shaking it back. “Yeah, I know,” he said letting go.

My face contorted into one of confusion, “You know my name? Do we know each other?”

He stumbled once again, “Huh? No! I meant I- I know that…it was scary! The churro thing. Almost dropping it. Yup. Terrifying, even!” He sighed to himself after seeing my expression and then said in a softer voice, “I’m sorry, I’m just nervous.”

“Oh, okay,” I said unsure.

That voice…

Just as I was about to reply, I was cut off by my mom.

“Y/N! Dinner is ready!”, my mom called from afar.

I turned back and yelled a reply, “Okay! I’m up!”

When I turned to apologize to Churro-Boy for the interruption, he was standing on the railing again.

“I uh, gotta go,” he said, pointing over his shoulder towards the city.

“Oh,” I said suddenly disappointed, “no yeah I totally get it. Gotta go give old ladies directions and collect those churros right?” I tried joking.

“Obviously, I want my churro collection to grow so,” he joked back. “Do you- do you want the rest of it? I’m kinda full anyway”

He offered the churro to me and I took it, “Eh, why not. If Spider-Man offers you a churro, one cannot deny it, right?” I smiled softly.

“Right,” he confirmed. “Churro-Boy out,” he saluted as he shot a web and swung away.

I mock-saluted him even though he didn’t see it as I bit into the churro. I closed my window and took out my phone to get rid of the 911 dial; I didn’t wanna risk butt dialing the cops. I could only imagine how that conversation would go. After I put my phone away, I made my way into the kitchen and greeted my mom.

“Morning Mom,” I mumbled, taking a bite.

“Where did you get that churro from?”

I smiled knowingly and said, “Your friendly neighborhood Churro-Boy gave it to me”

“I don’t even wanna know,” she muttered. “But that better not be code for drugs.”

Mother!” I exclaimed with my posh voice, “I would never!”

Sorry - Archie Andrews

Imagine request: you and Archie get into a huge fight and your best friends. And you go to the diner to pick up an order and Archie happens to be there. And he tries to talk to you but your to mad. And your order is ready and you walk out and Archie chases after you. And you finally let him speak. And he confesses his love for you while apologizing. And he kisses you. Your shocked just as much as he is for doing that to his best friend for so many years. But it feels right. :))))) thanks

I feel pretty damn good about this one, if I do say so myself!!!

You don’t really even remember why you were pissed off at Archie, but all you felt was anger towards him. It might’ve been how he hadn’t hung out with you over the summer like you planned or the way he treated Betty during and after the dance. Your heart still ached for your friend, knowing what it was like to carry an affection for Archie Andrews. Your feelings for him were perhaps deeper than Betty’s, but you remained silent about them for her sake and your own sanity. Admitting that you like your best friends was not on of your priorities, especially after blowing up in his face. The fight was hardly one sided though, he had said some things and you left before he could make anything worse. The fight occurred around a three days ago now, but it stung not having your friend around you now.
Like normally, Archie would walk with you to pick up food from the diner, but you were currently walking down the road alone. It wasn’t dark out quite yet, but your hunger and the fear of being out too late made you walk a bit faster. You soon got to the diner, walking through the door and being hit in the face by the wonderful smell of food. Walking up to the counter, you recited your order number to Pop who went into the kitchen to fetch your meal. Soft music played through the diner and you looked over at the old jukebox to see Archie making his way towards you. You looked down at your hands and groan internally. You weren’t ready to talk to him just yet, you were still angry. He was about a foot away from you and he leaned against the countertop. “Y/N, can we,” you looked up at him and he stumbled over his words, “can we talk, please?” You swallowed hard, his tone sounded remorseful but his body language made it seem like he was on edge. “No, not right now,” you murmured, looking towards the kitchen door, silently begging for Pop to come back soon.  “Y/N I need to tell you,” you shot him a glance, your gaze meeting with his. “Here’s your order Y/N! Enjoy!” You turned to Pop, handing him the money and grabbing your bag. “Thanks Pop,” you giving him a smile and you turned to walk out of the diner. “Bye, Archie,” you muttered, pushing the door open. The cool late afternoon air hits your face and you start walking home. As you were walking, your heard the door open once more and the pattering a feet running towards you. You didn’t even have to turn around to know that it was Archie.

“Y/N please!” You halted, spinning around to face him. “Please what, Archie?! Listen to you, I think I heard you pretty well last time.” You met his gaze and you could see the hurt on his face. A part of you felt sorry, but the other overpowered you with anger. “Yeah, but last time you walked away before I could apologize,” his voice wasn’t loud or harsh as you expected. It was soft, as if hoping you’d forgive him. “I’m sorry, for everything,” he said taking a step towards you. “I’m sorry that I wasn’t around over summer and I’m sorry I never called. I’m so sorry that I hurt Betty, but I couldn’t just lie to make her happy.” There was little space separating you now, but you didn’t notice, you were too caught up in his apology. “I’m sorry I couldn’t tell Betty that I love her like that, because I love you too much to lie to myself, let alone her.” Your heart beat faster at his words and the feeling of his hand holding yours didn’t help that.
He took a breath, looking into your eyes, “But I’m not sorry about telling you that.” You were entranced by his brown eyes and despite the shock, you accepted each word. With his free hand, he cups your cheeks, pulling your lips to his. All of your pent up thoughts and feelings for and about Archie poured out into that kiss, so when your lips parted, a weight was off your shoulders.

“Don’t be sorry about that,” you whispered and Archie chuckled. “I couldn’t be even if I tried.” You grabbed his hand, intertwining your fingers now and he walked you the rest of the way home. You didn’t live that far from Pop’s, but you and Archie seemed to talk for hours. At least it felt that way, but before you realized it, you were back home. “I’ll see you tomorrow, Archie,” you said as you let go of his hand reluctantly. He gave you a boyish smile and grabbed your hand again, pulling you to him one last time. “I love you,” he said again and you smiled. “I love you too.” he let you go then, watching as you disappeared in your house. He didn’t feel too sorry anymore.

The Breakdown.

Wayhaught AU where Waverly’s car breaks down, and Nicole happens to know just how to fix it. Warning: Smut ahead.

Summers in Purgatory got surprisingly hot.

Waverly was about five miles away from town when her old jeep started to stall. “No. No no. Not now.” She sighed as she felt it get slower and slower until it came to a complete stop. “Shitstrumpets!” She yelled as she pounded her hands against the wheel.

She got out of the car and walked her way to the front where smoke was starting to puff out slowly from under the hood. She sighed. She knew nothing about cars. God, she wasn’t even sure if she knew how to open the hood.

Waverly pulled her phone out of the pocket of her jean shorts. She hated doing it but…he was the only person that knew how to fix this stuff.

“Champ…hey babe.” She smiled. “Can you come help me? My car broke down, I’m not that far out of town. Champ come on what could you possibly be doing?! I don’t know what a carburetor is! Champ. Champ? Hello! Fuck!” He hung up. She grunted as threw her phone into the desert land beside her.

“Damn, what’d that phone do to you?” A voice behind her asked. “You okay?” She asked with a hint of laughter in her voice.
