Heyyyy so um I'm leaving for vacation tomorrow and I haven't packed anything yet so.... how much sense do you think Harry would talk into me because I just procrastinate BUT I GET IT DONE EVENTUALLY

HE’S KNOCK YOU STRAIGHT DUDE

I feel like Harry’s so organized with his packing. Like, he does the thing where you wrap an outfit into a little ball so it’s compact and lots of them fit. He has a system for everything, like where all his toiletries go and where to put his toothbrush specifically and his laptop goes in the pocket on the inside because the outside one is too dangerous. He’s just very organized rather than throwing everything in there.

And then he’d look over at you with your suitcase open and empty as you lay on the bed on your phone and give you a little scowl.

“Get to it, pet.” He tries to snatch your phone a couple of times, but you dodge him easily.

“In a minute,” You respond all distracted, not even glancing at him.

“Yeah, that’s what I’ll say when you’re wired up and need me t'help you. ‘In a minute.’”

Summary: You were just a pre-school teacher, a simple dream that came true as you always adored children. But what you didn’t know, was how one child and her very special father would change you dream forever.

“Jieun-ah, please.” Jimin sighed, as he tried putting her arms through the sleeves of her baby pink coat, which she shrugged back off again for the nth time making Jimin let out a soft groan in exasperation.

“Jieun-ah…” Jimin pleaded.

“I don’t want to go to school daddy.” Jieun said softly, pouting as she looked at her dad with round eyes, the corners watering slightly as Jimin felt his resolve weaken at the sight of his little girl before him.

Sighing, he grabbed her hands and put on a large grin, “Jieun-ah, It’ll be fun!” he tried cheering, “Daddy had loved going to school all his life (what a lie) and really wished he could go again.”

“Then why don’t you come with me?” Jieun asked, tugging at the ends of her little pale blue sundress, the color contrasting strongly against her raven blank hair that tumbled around her shoulders in soft curls.

Cradling her face in his hands, her cheeks squishing up together making Jimin chuckle slightly, he said, “Daddy’s too old now, but if anything happens I’ll be there for you, alright? Do you wanna go now? I promise it’ll be great.”

“Pinky promise?” Jieun asked, holding out her pinky to Jimin’s face as he laughed a little, hooking her tiny pinky within his and bringing them together before pressing a small kiss to her hands, “I promise baby.”

“Hi guys!! Welcome! Hello!” you smiled happily as the kids walked one by one into your class, all their faces with expressions that varied, some happy, some mad, some scared and some with tears and snot dripping from their little noses.

Oh children.

“There you go Jieun-ah, I’ll pick you up in a couple hours okay?”

Tony Stark was a lot of things to a lot of people. He was the billionaire, he was the genius, the philanthropist, and the notorious playboy in his younger years. Most notably, however, was that he was Iron Man. He was marveled at by the entire world, him and the group of heroes that stood beside him; the Avengers, as they called themselves. To you, however, he was your father.

A terribly overprotective one, at that.

Of course, this was only to be expected of a father, even a foster one, but the lengths the man went to in order to keep his only daughter out of whatever he deemed trouble were rather extensive. You rarely ever left the Avengers tower, and if you did you were accompanied by a team of people you could only describe as rip off Secret Service men. Sometimes, Natasha would replace them, or Steve, but that was a rare occurrence. You were homeschooled by the best tutors his money could pay for- this particular move was less about refining your education and more about keeping you away from any boy in the five boroughs.

You chose to spend majority of your time reading in your room and training, always wary of anyone who approached you about being a friend. Your surname meant everything to people, especially the girls that wandered around Manhattan desperate to become the bestie of the daughter of the richest man in New York. You loved your dad with all your heart, but the stigma that ran with the Stark name would never stop irritating you.

That, and the impromptu plans he threw at you on a regular basis.

“Miss Stark, your father is requesting access to your room. He knows you hate it when he barges in.” Vision drifted into your room without warning, making you jump. You yanked your earbuds out of your ears, giving him a look.

“I hate when anyone barges in, Vision. That includes you, too.” You pushed your chair away from your desk, placing your pen on the desk and shutting your notebook. “Tell him he can come in if he lets me become an Avenger.” You raised your voice at this, knowing he would hear you.

“He says that he’ll consider it if you let him in.”

You raised your eyebrows. “Touché.” You motioned for the door to open, and your father walked into the room, immediately taking his pristinely polished shoes off and lying down on your bed. You stared at him.“Dad, it’s not cool to wear sunglasses inside. You look lame.”

Tony Stark rolled his eyes at you. “It’s called a look, sweetheart.” You laughed, pretending to nod in agreement. He placed his hands behind his head as you spun your chair back around to your desk. “What are you working on?”

“Something for Bruce,” you muttered, pen cap between your teeth as you continued to jot down important points from his numerous lab reports. You were going to have to hand in a full analysis of his findings for your end of term science paper, and he was more than willing to aid you. “Science report.”

“My daughter, beautiful and intelligent, my flesh and blood,” Tony declared proudly.

“Dad, I love you to the death, but I’m still not your biological kid,” you smiled all the same, though, and he knew behind the tough exterior you were happy to hear his expressions of admiration.

“Who needs a biological kid when I’ve got this great, wonderful adopted one right in front of me.”

Not looking up from your notebook, you said, “You’re really laying it on thick today. I’m all of those things, obviously, but I know you want something. So, what is it?” You paused, then said, “Thank you, by the way.”

“You sure we’re not related?” He sat back up, clasping his hands together. “What do you say about Germany?”

“Nice enough place I guess, interesting history, why?”

“I kind of need you to go there for two weeks with me.”

With a groan, you dropped your pen and held your face in your hands. “Another surprise trip? Dad, I have school. I have homework! Do you see this?” You held up the thick stack of reports from Banner’s lab, waving them around. “This is gonna be, like, my life’s work.”

Tony shook his head. “Kids these days and their homework. Seriously. When I was at school I would have taken any opportunity to shirk my responsibilities.”

  “You did do that.”

He waved his hand. “Technicalities. Anyway, as you know the Avengers have been disassembled. Sokovia Accords and all that bullshit. I assume you’ve been keeping up?”

“Hard not to.” It was true. Anything in the news was about the great split of the infamous team, Captain America vs Iron Man. It was impossible to turn on the television without hearing about it. And, considering you lived underneath the same roof as half of them, it was quite literally not an option to be ignorant to what was going on.

“Good,” he grinned proudly again. If there was one emotion that the man felt whenever he was around, it was proud. Nearly everything you did made him beam with pride, and if you had been placed into an actual high school, there was no doubt in his mind that the person at the top of every single class would be you. You excelled no matter the circumstances. “So, to sum up, there’s gonna be a big showdown in Germany. Western style, naturally. Guns blazing and everything.”

Your eyes lit up and you nearly flew out of your chair, rushing over to him. “Oh my god, are you finally gonna let me fight? You’ve seen my training, right? I’m getting so good. I’m like, practically Natasha level good. She’s been showing me that move where I can snap people’s necks with my thighs and-”

“First of all, your thighs are not going around anyone’s neck, so jot that down,” he interrupted. Your enthusiasm visibly deflated. “I need you to kind of watch over this kid who’s coming with us. He’s from Queens. You love Queens.”

“You’re making me babysit?” You flopped down on your bed, staring up at the ceiling. “C’mon, dad, I’m sixteen. That’s practically an adult. I think I should be allowed to fight this time. I’m Avenger worthy.”

“Practically an adult is not the same as literally an adult, as in over eighteen.” You groaned again. “Don’t call it babysitting, anyway. He’s your age. Well, he’s a few months younger, but that doesn’t matter. Just call it… hanging out with a good kid that’s fighting for your dear old dad and making sure he doesn’t get into trouble in Germany or annoy Happy too much.” He patted your knee, standing up. “We leave in the morning, kiddo, so pack up.”

“How come he gets to fight if he’s younger than I am?”

“’Cause he’s not my daughter. Goodnight, light of my life.” He kissed your forehead before leaving, giving you another encouraging smile.

“Goodnight, pain my ass,” you grumbled as he left. He popped back in, a stern expression on his face. “If I watch your new protégée can I become an Avenger?” Tony rubbed a hand over his eyes. Teenage girls were exhausting.

   “We’ll talk about it.”

You’re sitting at your breakfast table with suitcases piled next to you when Peter Parker strolls into your life with happiness in his every footstep because he is just so, so glad to be there. You’re spooning cereal into your mouth when he sits down directly across from you, a video camera cupped in his soft looking hands and the little red button clicked on, meaning that he is recording you. You place your spoon back into the bowl of milk that is dusted with cinnamon sugar from the Cinnamon Toast Crunch you’ve been eating for the past ten minutes.

   “Do you mind?”

“Mind what?” He asked, peeking up from behind his camera. You gestured toward it, wiping your mouth with your sleeve.

“The camera. I’m kind of still in the middle of eating breakfast in my pajamas,” you leaned forward, switching it off. “You must be the Spider-Boy.” The chestnut haired boy feels a blush creeping up his neck and settling along his cheekbones when you say that.

“Oh, did Mr. Stark tell you that?” He rubbed the back of his neck, laughing awkwardly. “Um, it’s Spider-Man, actually.” He mumbled the man part, knowing fully well that he didn’t look like much of a man in the eyes of anyone, his eyes casting down as he fidgeted with the strap on his camera.

“Oh good,” you nodded. You took another spoonful of cereal. “I like that better. Nicer ring to it.” You grabbed your box of sugary breakfast and pushed it toward him, an offering.

“Huh?” He was a bit dazed. He stared at the box in front of him and then realized he had been doing that for far too long of a time to be considered normal. “Oh, right, um, sure, thanks!” He opened the box and took a handful, shoving it in his mouth. You kept eating your cereal, silently staring at the bowl and willing yourself not to laugh at the boy in front of you. With all his nerves, he was still a bundle of energy and cheerfulness, and, well, let’s face it, he was sort of adorable. “So, you think my name’s cool?” He tried to sound suave, charming, as he said it, tried to smirk at you, but he stopped when he realized that he looked stupid.

You gave him a half smile. “It’s pretty good.” His face positively lit up with happiness to be taken seriously, and you knew the feeling too well. You stuck out your hand. “Oh, forgot to introduce myself-”

“Y/N Stark, adopted daughter of Mr. Stark, probably the smartest girl in all of New York and, uh, correct if I’m wrong but… Black Widow’s best student as well as Bruce Banner’s apprentice.”

You gaped at him. The blush he had been sporting crept up to his ears and made his nose turn the shade of a strawberry. “Well, uh, yeah,” you said, flustered. “Should I creeped out or flattered?”

“Flattered, please.” The genuine worry in his eyes as he leaned forward made you laugh. He had an endearing personality.

“Flattered it is.” You watched the slow sigh of relief leave his mouth, his hands flying up the mess of hair atop his head and fixing it distractedly. Your dad walked into the room, and Peter practically fell out of his chair trying to stand up and seem presentable. Your slouch was indicative that you didn’t care much. He was just your dad. “Morning, pops,” you slid the box over his way.

He frowned at it.” Y/N, that stuff is crap. I don’t know why you eat it.”

“Wanda and I like it,” you said defensively, a slip of the tongue. You knew your dad was going to get annoyed at the mention of the Scarlet Witch, who had evaded and ignored his attempts at keeping her powers under control. “It’s good. High quality. Right, Peter?” You whipped your head toward him.

He felt his heart give a little tug. He grabbed the box out of your hand and shoved more cereal in his mouth, the cinnamon sugar sticking to his lips. “Yeah, Mr. Stark. Best stuff ever,” he said through a mouthful of it. Tony gave them an amused glance, picking up your two heaviest suitcases and beckoning you both to the landing strip. Peter swallowed his food.

He didn’t even like Cinnamon Toast Crunch that much. He was just thrilled that you knew his real name.

Everything about this kid was infuriatingly dorky in the cutest way possible. You came to this conclusion as you boarded the jet with ease, sitting in your usual spot by the window and greeting Happy with your typical friendly smile and idle chitchat. Peter stumbled onto it with awe written across his features as he stared around the place, touching nearly everything much to Happy’s dismay.

“Haven’t you been on a plane before?” The man asked, growing irritated with the way the kid was filming everything. You saw Peter zoom in on Happy’s face and grinned out your window.

“Nope, never!” Peter exclaimed, his video camera still in front of him as he captured every detail of his trip.

“Well, sit down so we can take off,” Happy said gruffly, grabbing Peter’s shoulders and forcefully placing him into a seat.

Peter sat still for a moment, then hopped over to the seat next to you. He placed his camera in front of him on the tray table. “Y/N, smile for the camera. I’m recording.” You looked at him, then turned to the camera and gave it a deadpan stare. You even threw in a slow blink. “Good enough,” he shrugged. He kept it recording as he shifted in his seat so that his entire body was facing you, his chin resting in his hand and his elbow on your armrest. His gaze was sort of nice. “So, Miss Stark, I have a few questions.”

“Um, okay, shoot,” you closed your book that you had open on your lap. “I’m not that interesting, just so you know.”

“I think you’re interesting,” he assured you. You heard Happy let out a choked laugh at Peter’s flirting attempt, but it was just another thing you found sort of lovely. It was a genuine compliment. “What’s your favorite subject in school?”

You’d been expecting the typical what’s it like being Tony’s daughter spiel, and you were pleased to get an actual question about yourself for once. “I like everything, I guess. I kind of love school, but I don’t go to a conventional school, so. Training is cool, I like that a lot.”

“You train with Black Widow, I have to ask- can you show me some moves? I need to refine my technique before the fight,” he explained.

“Do you wanna learn how to crush people with your thighs?”

“Wow! Do you think I could? Could you teach me? That’s so cool,” he beamed, turning to the camera for a split second with an overexcited look.

You pursed your lips, staring out your window for a minute. You were up in the air by now, and there was long flight ahead of you. “Maybe. If my dad is okay with it. I have to check.” Peter looked confused,

   “Why wouldn’t he be?”

“He’s, you know, really overprotective.” You put your first against the cheek, leaning the same way that Peter was. You sighed. “I don’t have a lot of friends. Which is fine, but I can’t even attempt to go make any because I have a whole freaking SWAT team on my ass the minute I step out of the tower because he’s so worried about my safety.” You let your head hit the window, your eyes rolling skyward. “And that makes no sense because-”

“You’re really strong and stuff. You can protect yourself,” Peter finished.

“I think you know me a little too well, Peter,” you said, poking him lightly in the arm. “But… yeah, exactly. I don’t really get to do anything fun. I don’t have adventures. Sure, reading is fun and studying is fun for me and training is great and I love hanging out with everyone in the tower but I’m still a teenager. No fun for me, though. My life is pretty boring, sorry if that makes your little video diary suck.” You stuck your tongue out at his camera.

“No worries,” he said, taking it off the tray table and turning it toward you. “Tell me every boring detail, Miss Stark.”

“As long as you stop calling me Miss Stark.”

   “You’ve got a deal.”

It was a seven hour trip, and you both passed out by the three hour mark after Peter had pried every excruciating detail from your life out of you. You hated sleeping on airplanes, but your head was slumped against his shoulder and his arm was knocking against your own and his sweatshirt was as soft as pillow. You remembered the shy glance he had given you just before you knocked out on his shoulder for the remainder of the flight. He had a sweet smile.

Peter filmed absolutely everything. He filmed himself getting off the plane and then filmed you getting off the plane and nearly shoved the camera in Happy’s face until he threatened to break it and Peter backed off. He radiated enthusiasm. “Look at this, and this, and this, oh shit wow that’s so cool look at this! Oh man this is good stuff!”

“Peter this is literally just the airport how am I supposed to take you around the actual city?!”

“OH WOW Y/N have you seen this!”

    “Yes, Peter!”

He zoomed in on your face, your devoid of emotion look appearing again. “Are you ever gonna smile for the camera?” He gave you a pout, doe eyes and all. You turned away.

“No. I’m supposed to be babysitting you, please be behave.” You touched your fingers to the bridge of your nose, dragging Peter to a couch. “Please sit. We’re getting the hotel reservations checked.”

“Do they juice boxes? I’m really thirsty.” He was just trying to make you laugh at this point, and annoying you was kind of funny for him. You let out an involuntary chuckle when he pretended to claw at his throat, throwing himself on the ground.

“I’ll make sure they have juice boxes for you, Petey. You’re such a seven year old, geez.” You pretended to gag.

Looking offended, Peter replied, “I’m actually twelve.”

Jokingly, you said, “You’re a twelve year old that’s going to get a punch in the face if you don’t settle down right now.” He stood up, directly in front of you with his light eyes and little grin, another feverish looking heat burning at his face. Nevertheless, he still said, “It’d be an honor to get beaten up by you.”

His voice, the sincerity he carried within it despite the ludicrous statement, made you feel those famed butterflies fluttering inside you. Maybe it was the way he looked into your eyes as he said it. Maybe it wasn’t. But something within you was starting to like Peter Parker, and you’d barely known him for twenty four hours.

Then again, it was hard to not like Peter. The kid was just so damn likable.

He had known it from the moment he first set his eyes upon you that day in the tower that he was a goner. If he had known it then, just from sitting down across from you with nothing to him but his lanky figure and a suit that resembled a onesie more than it did a costume fit for a hero such as he, he was sure of it now, a week and a half later.

Every day had been the same routine. He’d be up bright and early in the morning so you could help with him his training, teaching him how to utilize the suit your father had given him with ease rather than his usual tactic of jumping into everything blind. You’d been the one to help come up with nearly all of the web shooter combinations. He didn’t know all of them yet, or close to half of them, but he was progressing wonderfully.

After training, you’d give him the tour of your favorite places around Germany, close enough to where you’d both be able to get back to the hotel before dark. He filmed the both of you constantly, but you shied away from the cameras every time without fail. He couldn’t understand why, but he didn’t push. He just liked filming in general, and would accept you not smiling in any of his clips as long as you were still in there.

There was a beautiful sense of normalcy that came with hanging around Peter. You reveled in it. No one had ever made you laugh so hard with his ridiculous attempts at jokes or made you smile so much at his shy flirting skills that clearly needed to be revisited.

It was okay. You didn’t mind. And the fact that you didn’t tease him for it made him so, so happy.

Then, came the day of the fight. Peter had his camera out, he was dressed in his spidey suit, and you were standing there next to him dictating who he should and shouldn’t go after.

“Don’t go after Wanda ‘cause she could obliterate you in two seconds and Cap could crush you, too, but he won’t ‘cause he’s really nice like that. Bucky won’t care as much, though, so don’t do that- Ant-Man seems pretty cool and harmless but I don’t have as much intel on him and Peter if you get hurt you have to go hide somewhere-”

“I’m not gonna get hurt,” he said confidently.

You ignored him. “I’m gonna be in your earpiece, figuratively speaking, so I’ll hear everything you do and if you talk I’ll be able to hear you and you can hear me. So, just… keep me updated.” Peter took off his mask for a second, hair sticking up everywhere from the static. You leaned up, smoothing it back into place. Everything about him was soft. You wanted to curl up in it and stay there for as long as you could.

“I’ll be fine, Y/N, don’t worry,” Peter placed his hand on your shoulder. You felt your face heat up.

“I- I’m not worried.” You totally were. “I know you’ll be fine.” You didn’t want him getting hurt. “I just want you to be careful.” You didn’t want him to fight.

You could’ve sworn his face fell a  bit when you said you weren’t worried, but he squeezed your shoulder anyway. Without a moment’s hesitation, you threw your arms around him, your nose pressing against his neck as you took a deep breath. He stood there for a second without doing anything until he realized that if he didn’t hug you back, he’d be the dumbest person on the face of the Earth. You felt his surprisingly defined arms hug you back.

You didn’t look at him when you pulled away. You stared at the spider emblazoned on his chest, gave him a quick good luck, then departed from the room. You sat on your own hotel bed with a rapidly beating heart.

The nerves were killing you. Ten more minutes. You opened your laptop and pulled up the system that would allow you to communicate across Team Stark. You were more focused on your dad and Peter. You tapped into your dad’s earpiece after placing the headset on. “Dad?” You spoke into the microphone.

   “Hey, kiddo, everything okay?”

“Y-Yeah I just-” you took another breath. “Be safe. I love you.”

“I love you too, Y/N. Are you sure everything is okay over there?”

“Can you just make sure Peter gets out okay? If he gets hurt, bring him right back, please. That’s it.” Maybe it was a stupid request in someone else’s eyes, but you needed Peter to make it back in one piece. Tony Stark looked over at Peter Parker, crouching in his hiding spot and fumbling around with the gloves of his suit and gave the kid a knowing smile. Of course that was the one his  daughter fell for in the end. Perfectly fitting.

“I’ll make sure.” You knew your father couldn’t see the grateful smile on your face, the sigh of relief that fell past your lips when he spoke these words.

Peter Parker, I swear if you make it out of this, I will smile like an idiot in every single one of your stupidly adorable video diary things. I swear. Just be safe.

“Your black eye is awful,” you told him, dabbing at it with more cream. “Totally ruins your face.”

   “I think I look manly.”

“You think incorrectly.” You stepped back, your fingertips tilting his chin up so you could examine it further. “I think I got the worst of it. You did really well, Peter. Exceptionally well.” His face was glowing from your compliment.

“Can I get on that tape?” He asked excitedly, ducking under his hotel bed for his camera. You nodded, and he switched the camera on. He held out his arm so that you were both in frame. And you smiled. He forgot all about what you were supposed to say the moment that beautiful smile appeared there. “I- wow, Y/N.”

   “What?’

His stare was kind as it usually was. “You just-” he paused. “Your smile is really, really beautiful.” There was no way for you to turn away from the camera this time and you were left grinning like a lovestruck idiot at the boy in front of you, leaning up on your toes to press a kiss to his cheek.

  “Thank you.”

You slept the entire plane ride the way you had the last time, curled up against Peter. This time, it was intentional. One of your arms was flung across his waist and his was wrapped around your shoulders, the sweatshirt he had came in now swaddling you cozily. There were two separate cars waiting for you. You stood in between them when the flight got off, the sleeves of his sweater hanging off your hands as you reached out to grab his. He felt you push a piece of paper into his hand. “You better call me, Peter Parker. I’ll be really upset if you don’t.”

He wrapped you suddenly in an embrace that lifted you off your feet just a little bit, his lips pressing against your temple. “I’ll call you every day.”

He kept true to his word. Every day without fail, your phone rang with a call from Peter, and you fell asleep on the phone with him more often than not. If you weren’t on the phone with him, you were texting him, and if you weren’t doing that, you wished that you were. The consistent communication was better than nothing, but regardless, you missed his presence. You missed the way you felt walking next to him as he explained why chocolate ice cream was so clearly better than vanilla. You just missed him.

“Peter?” You held the phone to your ear, nestled in your blankets already even though it was barely nine o'clock. His sleepy voice mumbled out a yes? “Would it be stupid if I said that I missed you?”

She could practically hear his wide smile through the phone. “Of course not. I miss you, too. So much. Probably more than you miss me.”

“That’s so not true!” She scoffed.

“Wanna bet?” His tone was mischievous, no longer the hoarse, pretty voice of a boy just waking up from his nap. “Open your bedroom door.”

    “Are you joking?”

You hung up the phone, throwing back your covers and not caring one bit that your hair was a dripping mess from your shower or that you were wearing  a terrible set of hello kitty pajamas that weren’t meant for anyone over the age of ten based on the size of the top. You nearly tackled him to the ground when you saw him standing in your doorway, a happy squeal escaping your lips. You were surprised he even got in, considering your dad wasn’t home, but you figured Vision had let him in. Vision always had a way of knowing.

“Have I ever told you that you have a really pretty smile?” Peter’s lips hovered over yours, almost hesitant. You took the initiative to kiss first, your hands delving into his silk-like hair. There was no point in waiting anymore. Your noses bumped together clumsily when he tilted his head back, admiring. You could feel your whole being light up when he gazed at you the way that he did, in that admiring, careful, Peter way of his.

“Careful, Spidey,” You warned, hands on his chest as you stared right back up at him.

“Careful of what?” He quirked an eyebrow.

“You’re going to make me fall in love with you one of these days if you keep looking at me like that.” It was only the truth, and you were a honest person.

“That’s sort of the plan,” he shrugged in a seemingly careless way, but he couldn’t hide it. He was an open book. An open book who loved you, and the way that you smiled at him when he pulled back his sleeve to reveal a web shooter, a strange glint in those brown eyes of his as he said, “You up for an adventure?”

Tell me where to package
Your mouth and your teeth
your eyes and your heart and
your god damn collarbones

They’re not sure where to go anymore

And the smile I had just for you?
The one I kept for 2 am
With the lights off
in your bed
Where do I put that?
Do I tuck it under my bed in a box
Labeled do not touch for fear
of lighting a match
I won’t be able to put out again?

Or do I rip it into pieces like paper
And let it fly out the window

And the “I love you”
The “I can’t believe I get to wake up
next to you”
The “I missed you today did you miss me too?”
Do I tuck them under my lashes
For when the pain becomes
too much to bear
And shed them out with the tears?

Tell me where you put the love so quickly
Give me somewhere to put everything
you gave up on
So that I can look like I’m good
at living without you,
too.

anonymous asked:

Hey! I have a kind of random question: what korean beauty products do u use?? I am really curious bc I need recommendations? Sorry; it's a weird question.

It’s a great question, don’t worry! I can understand that, I love finding something new (and if that something new fits me perfectly then I’m super happy so!)

Sweats, I have a lot of stuff though so it might be a bit long-ish…

I’ll just start with skincare because it’s always what I’m looking for first:

The Face Shop Rice water bright rich cleansing oil (from normal to dry skin). The first cleansing oil I actually tried. It’s a pleasure using it, the smell is amazing, I will definitely buy it again. Removes make-up well for me, but I’ve read people saying it has a bit of a trouble re-moving very strong make-up, but since I don’t use it I’ll give it an A+.

• I have a few foams; one from The Face Shop as well - Rice water bright cleansing foam. Smells amazing as well, I nearly finished it. I have one stored I want to try, so not yet sure if I buy it again, but I love this one too. Also I have one from Skinfood Egg white pore foam - I think I’ll buy this one. These two might be a bit drying to your skin if using without a uh..bubble maker? Not sure how that thing called in english. It dried me out, I made that thing that helps making richer foam, now I don’t have any dryness so! Skinfood will probably be great for oilier skin.

• Theeen I have The Secret key’s Milk brightening toner. Still not sure about it, I broke out a lot when I was using it, but I am not sure if it was from it or from..period, I’m sorry, Still haven’t retried it, so don’t have an opinion except that I think the smell is pretty good.

• UUH i bought a lot of creams in the search for the perfect one. I have Tony Moly Pure eco snail moisture gel (smells fantastic, used it for the face a lot, didn’t break out, nothing really changed nor for the worst nor for the better, now use it mostly on my hands); I also recently bought Mizon’s All in one Snail repair cream (because I REALLY REALLY want a few marks to fade); comparing to Tony Moly’s it does make skin very soft to the touch. But I’ve been using it for like, six days, so other than that I can’t say how effective it’s going to be. Doesn’t quite smell, pleasant to use. Depending on how it goes next, I think I’ll re-buy it. I also use Aloe Soothing Gel by Nature Republic. used it all the time before i bought Mizon’s, never broke out. for now uh.. I kind of use it after shaving. HUGE container. I wonder if I will be able to finish it before it expires. Next (GOd, there are so many) Skinfood Fresh Apple sparkling water cream. Use it before make-up. It’s supposed to keep your skin matte, I love the smell of it, nice to use. My skin is pretty normal, so I don’t know how much it actually does what it’s supposed to. I’ll try it in summer and find out:”D

• nooow MASKS. oh, my love. sweet, sweet masks. I think my AAABsolute favourite is Skinfood’s Black sugar wash off mask. A present from my friend. Basically a scrub that you let to stay on your skin after you scrubbed. Smells amazing, leaves skin suuuper soft afterwards, will definitely 100% buy it again. Theeen I have Volcanic ash pore pack by secret nature. After using it the skin seems a bit brighter, a bit softer. Nothing too outstanding, but it’s fairly pleasant overall. I wanted to try Holika Holika’s Soda Pore Cleansing Bubble mask BECAUSE O MY GOD. BUBBLES. ON. MY FACE. BUBBLES. I swear I’m a child. I WAS REALLY CURIOUS OKAY. Pretty much the same effect as with Volcanic ash pore. Probably one time fun for me. (I mean. one bottle time, ahah). Theeen I wanted to try Elizavecca’s Hell Pore Clay mask, I think it was the first mask I bought. Wasn’t painful for me, skin is pretty soft afterwards, but I don’t think it does much for my skin? Probably because I don’t quite have that much to push out. It doesn’t quite catch it. Can remove dead skincells though, I’m sure. God. IS this all? No. I recently bought Holika Holika Honey Sleeping pack (I have canola); I’m still not sure, I had quite a big zit when I went to bed with it, in the morning it was, like, much paler and didn’t feel on my skin. Was it the mask’s doing? was the zit supposed to fade away? Not yet sure, since I bought it very recently with mizon. For masks I think that’s all. Kinda sticky because of the honey, but smells nice.

• I have one emulsion by The Saem Urban Eco Harakeke. Moisturising, smells good, make-up goes smoothly on it.

• the last for skincare: Ciracle pore control blackhead off sheet. I only used it twice, and it’s quite tricky and I guess takes some used to. basically does the job of steaming the face without steam and probably works a bit better. Pushes out everything from your nose, you just have to remove it. Didn’t push out as much as I’ve seen on pictures and in reviews for me, but it does it’s job. Nose is as smooth as a jellyfish. SO SMOOTH afterwards.

FINALLY I THINK WE ARE DONE WITH SKINCARE. OH DEAR GOD, not a million of products have passed.

Nooooow up to Make-uuuup~~

• BB CREAMS. I swear on those. I. am. a nerd. Before I tried any bb or cc creams that are sold in our stores they never fit me ever. They always felt so greasy and dark for me. I don’t know, I had the curse of bb creams and now i think it’s finally gone. The first korean one I tried was Aritaum Full Cover. The coverage IS nice, can be a bit shiny in a certain lighting, and feels pretty heavy on the skin. I think my problem with it was mostly my dislike for powders, so it felt sticky, but I think with people who DO use powders it’s going to work better. After that I tried Holika Holika Petit BB (Moisturizing). MY LOVE STARTED. I love how it feels, in certain lighting it makes the skin seem absolutely perfect, pleasant on daylight, doesn’t fell like a mask on a skin. Has universal tone. The Last one is CC, actually, but not less amazing. I’ve been using mostly it recently, CC Color change blemish balm. This one is MAAGIC because it’s like greenish-white, and then you put it on the face, and it turns into your face and it’s MAGIC i swear I love how it feels(doesn’t) on the skin, the coverage is decent for me, Baaaarely noticeable on the skin. I’ll definitely buy holika holika and this one again.

• as for concealers I have Aritaum Full cover liquid concealer for undereye (the tube is huge for concealer, I’m not sure if I will ever finish it since it takes such a minimum for me); and Facetone Creamy Tip concealer for any spots. Good coverage, most likely I’ll buy it as well.

• I have Sweet Cotton pore cover base by Holika Holika, still not sure about it, doesn’t quite hide pores much, at least for me, but the make up does seem to stay longer with it. I’ve read the reviews for people to whom it really worked in regard of hiding pores, so! Might just be me, striving for absolute perfection.

• I have A’pieu Cheek Chok blush. Overall nice, but I think it’s a bit too pigmented for me and it seems to be a bit hard to blend. Creamy texture, but not quite as creamy as I wanted.

• last but not least… tints. Fresh cherry tint, pleasant texture, but I think I picked a bit of a wrong shade for me, though if I use it with The Saem’s Saemmul Real Tint (it’s orangish) it gives a fantastic effect. I also have the latter in dark purple. Love those tints, stay forever (especially the dark one - which is also quite hard to wash off) surprise, tint leaves a tint! :”D Love these, gotta buy again most likely. If I ever finish those, ahah.

I’ve been writing this message for so long. I’m sorry it’s huge. I’m sorry I’m a nerd when it comes to makeup and skincare. Goodbye, money, GOODBUY. ;)

Note: thank you so much for the request, darlin! it took me a while to write this because every time I’d finish it and read it, I didn’t like how it turned out. I’m sorry if it’s too short, but I hope you enjoy it! feedback is always welcome! I love reading comments! .c

Request:  I was thinking something along the lines that the reader and Seb had been dating for ages but she struggles with her self esteem, he goes to the gym to work out and it gets posted on his friend Instagram account of him working out with all the other women as well she see it and gets really down and tries to end things with him cause she doesn’t think she’s good enough and he comes home to her packing and tells her how much he loves her and how pretty she is and it’s really fluffy if that makes any sense - @melconnor2007

You woke up to your phone vibrating on the bedside table in your shared bedroom, the sun shining through your closed curtains. You groaned and turned on your other side, letting your eyes open as you grabbed your phone. It was a notification from Don Saladino, Sebastian’s gym trainer.

You turned onto your back and went to the live video, smiling as some people noticed you were watching. Greeting comments poured in, and so did the perverted ones. Though as your eyes left the comments and landed on a girl doing squats and Sebastian watching, your stomach sank.

Notice how she’s not bending forward too much, Seb.” Don said behind the camera. So, he’s only watching to get tips. You sighed and shrugged it off but you couldn’t ignore the comments that were now scrolling up the screen. Well, you could simply swipe the comment section away, but you were hooked.

Everyone was either commenting about your figure or how great you’d look if you toned up. Suddenly, it felt wrong to be lying in bed at 9am, no matter how late you were at work last night. You felt sluggish and lazy, uncomfortable in the little clothing you had on.

You’ve always had self esteem issues, but this tops it off. Tears formed in your eyes as you watched Sebastian continue watching the girl, and you quickly left the live video. You sat for a moment, thinking about how Sebastian would love it if he had a relationship where he could go to the gym together. Another sort of bonding tradition perhaps.

The longer you thought about it, the harsher the thoughts became. Getting out of bed, you made your way to your dresser to grab a change of clothes and went to the bathroom. You felt odd in your own skin, more so now than ever. Every flaw screamed at you as your feet carried you.

The brush of your thighs, your stomach against the soft material of Sebastian’s shirt, your arms holding your clothes against you.

You caught a glimpse of yourself in the mirror and turned to face it. You lifted the shirt up, revealing your tummy. Your hands pinched at the skin one time and you had to look away. Your lip trembled as you took the shirt off and stepped into the shower, hoping it’ll help.

Dating someone like Sebastian for so long, it wasn’t easy. When he was in the spotlight, so were you. He took you to events with him, he’d bring you to movie sets, and would introduce to his friends and coworkers. You loved that, you really did. It was nice to see the positive comments, but you still felt bad about yourself, and the negative comments that you’d see just made it worse.

You got out of the shower as quickly as you got in, and took your time getting ready. You dried your hair and slid on a new pair of clothes, all the while trying to keep your tears in. But you couldn’t. It was impossible at this point. It was silly, almost.

Before too long, you were questioning if you should stay here. It was wrong to think like that, but you felt as though Sebastian would be happier with someone who shared everything with him.

A sob fell from your lips and you inhaled unsteadily; you were really doing this. You grabbed your phone and saw you had a few texts from Sebastian. He was on his way home and you knew you needed to leave before he arrived. He didn’t need someone like you dragging him down with their insecurities.

Grabbing your suitcase out of your walk-in closet, you cried as you packed your things. You stuffed your clothes in and fumbled with the zipper, finally zipping it up. Your thoughts were so loud, you couldn’t hear the door open and the footsteps climbing up the staircase.

Just as you picked your suitcase off the bed, you turned to see Sebastian walk into the door, his eyes on his phone.

“Babe? I was thinking we could go out to-” His eyes lifted and his smile faded as he took in your appearance. Your eyes were watery, cheeks wet, and your shoulders were slumped. His heart sank at the sight of your suitcase in your hand. His breathing picked up and he tried to make sense of what was happening.

“Y/N.” He gulped, feeling a lump form in his throat. He rushed over to you and dropped his phone on the bed before grasping your face in his large hands. “What’s wrong? Wh-why are you holding your suitcase?” He asked with furrowed eyebrows, his blue eyes forming their own worried tears.

You could feel his fingertips tremble against your skin as you pulled out of his hold. “I need to go.” You managed to choke out, brushing past him. “No! Please, Y/N, tell me!” He desperately grabbed onto your wrist and pulled your suitcase out of your hand.

You crossed your arms over your chest, sinking into yourself, avoiding his heartbroken stare. “Sebastian, I’m not…I don’t feel good enough for you. I’m sorry, I-I can’t look how you want me to.” You whispered, keeping your eyes on his shoes. He set the suitcase down and walked over to you, brushing your hair behind your ear.

Your eyes closed at the movement and you sighed. “It’s stupid, I just..” Sebastian lightly shushed you, caressing your cheeks with his thumbs. “Y/N, you have no idea how beautiful you are. I love everything about you, don’t you know that?” He questioned, a small tear falling from his eye.

He pulled you in for a hug as soon as he saw your face contort with emotions. He walked you over to the mirror standing up near the window and turned you around to face it. You felt his hands rest on your hips and you looked away, not wanting to look at yourself.

“Y/N, please.” He urged quietly, letting his hands move underneath your shirt. You kept your arms at your sides while you watched the material lift upward, resting just underneath the band of your bra. Sebastian’s left hand rubbed against your skin and goosebumps rose instantly.

“I love your tummy. One day, it’ll hold a precious child-our child.” A small smile formed on his lips as you looked up at his reflection. You felt your tummy flip from butterflies breaking out of their cage, fluttering their wings and floating around.

You let him pull your shirt over your head and he grasped your wrists when you held your arms over your chest. “Don’t hide from me, beautiful.” His breath was warm against your ear and you nodded gently, allowing him to pull your arms away.

Sebastian’s hands followed your figure against your sides, his hands coming up to your breasts, ghosting his fingertips along the plump flesh. “I don’t even need to say anything.” He smirked, pulling a small watery laugh from you, causing some of the heaviness in the air to disappear.

His eyes met yours in the mirror as his hands traveled to the button of your jeans. He slowly pulled them down after unzipping them, and you looked at your thighs with disgust. Sebastian noticed but continued.

A nervous sigh fell from your lips, scared that he’d suddenly see the horrible flaws you’ve always seen, but it never came. He pressed loving kisses down your back, letting his tongue poke out every so often. His hands rubbed up and down your thighs, then all the way down to your ankles, helping you step out of your pants.

Your cheeks burned red as you felt him press kisses all along your panty clothed ass, the stubble of his beard scratching you lightly. “Everything,” you felt his hand slip between your thighs, just barely ghosting against your private area-nearly pulling a gasp from you, “absolutely everything,” he rose to his feet slowly, dragging his hands upward as he went, “I mean, everything about you is absolutely beautiful.” His lips kissed along your shoulder.

The sun peeked in through the curtains, casting a gorgeous glow on your skin. It caught you by surprise as you saw yourself in an almost new light. “Look at how radiant you are, princess.” Sebastian mumbled, not even believing his eyes as he looked at his girl glowing like an angel right before him.

Your emotions got the better of you as you turned in his hold, resting your head on his chest. “I’m sorry.” You whispered, wrapping your arms around him. He let his eyes travel along your body from behind, blown away at just how amazing you were inside and out; he knew he found his soulmate.

“Y/N, don’t apologize. Just remember that you’re more than enough for me. Hell, I’m in love with you, baby doll.” He said, holding you even tighter. Your heart swelled in your chest and you pressed kisses against his shirt. “I love you so much.” Sebastian smiled and lifted your head up by your chin with his finger, his blue eyes staring into yours.

“And I love you.”

Part 2https://thatsadbreakfastclub.tumblr.com/post/158505761114/rip-to-my-youth-pt-2

It was getting to the point where I was having internal battles with myself every night. ‘Y/N he’s working on the novel and the newspaper, of course, it’s going to be harder for him to spend time with you’ versus ‘he’s moved on, he’s closer with Betty now, he and Archie are closer too, you’ve lost him, you’re irrelevant’. These were the thoughts that had been consuming my brain for the past couple of weeks. Jug was my best friend, right? Maybe I should text him? Maybe not. I started playing with my pale grey cap, my nervous tick of sorts. Jug could always tell when I was nervous because I would fiddle with the cap “Y/N” he’d say “spill it, you can’t hide anything from me, I can read you like an open book”. Thinking about this little memory was bittersweet. How can someone who’s practically by your side every day suddenly just have no real interest in talking to you? Ever since the murder of Jason Blossom, it really feels like everything in Riverdale has changed.

I glanced at my clock perched on my bedside table, 7:45 pm sigh. Maybe doing some homework will take my mind off all this bullshit, who’s idea was it to put me in advanced algebra anyway? Oh, that’s right my father, who I really wish was here right now and not away on some business trip. Tonight would have to be a lonely one. That’s when I remembered I had Jug’s math textbook, there it was sitting on my desk. I flipped it open and sure enough on the bottom left-hand corner was a small ‘property of Jughead Jones’. Perfect I could use this as an excuse to text him.

Hey Jug, I forgot I had your math textbook? Want me to come drop it over? The two-hour wait to get a reply just built up more and more anger inside of me Hey Y/N, I’m working on an article with Betty right now, could you drop it off to me in the newsroom in free period tomorrow? This was it, this was fucking it, oh I would take his textbook to him tomorrow and I would also confront him about this whole thing, that’s what I’d do straight up ask him why I was suddenly dead weight, I’ve had his guys back for so many years and now I’m just nothing, I won’t have it. Will do I sent back, cool calm and collected and then I was going to give him a piece of my mind tomorrow.

Getting ready for school was never a difficult task for me, I pretty much did the same thing everyday. My Y/H/C was tied into a ponytail with the front strands falling onto my face framing it. I put on my classic ripped boyfriend jeans and a black t-shirt, accompanied by my army jacket. To finish off my classic look I added my signature grey cap and put on my favourite dark grey lipstick. I wasn’t the girliest of girls, that was for sure, but everyone seemed to identify me by my style and in this I found comfort. After giving myself the once over in the mirror I grabbed Jug’s textbook from my desk, shoving it into my bag and I set off for school.

The day dragged on and on, I had a tonne of classes with Kevin and Ronnie today so it was nice to hang out with them for a change. This was of course until Kevin pulled the “I haven’t seen you and Jughead together in a while, what happened you two are usually joined at the hip?” line “You guys are my otp, I hope there’s no trouble in paradise” Veronica added. “Ronnie we’re not dating, why does everyone always think that and honestly, I don’t know, I guess he’s been too busy with this whole novel and newspaper thing to remember me as well” I replied giving my best interpretation of a fake smile. Veronica and Kevin gave me sympathetic looks.

As the bell rang, signaling our release I was packing my things together when Veronica grabbed my arm. “Y/N you need to tell Jug how you feel, I don’t know if you’ve even admitted it to yourself yet but it’s pretty obvious you’re in love with him, I can see how much not seeing him is hurting you and I think it’s best if you face this head on” I was so taken aback by this, I mean for years I’ve always had people ask if Jug and I were dating but no one had been this blatant with me. Was she right?, No he’s my best friend, I couldn’t be in love with him no way. I let out an awkward laugh “I don’t love Jughead, we’re just friends” It came out so defensive that Veronica raised both her eyebrows and folded her arms “the fact that you’re being so defensive about this just further proves my point” She said in a sing-song voice. “I gotta go Ronnie” I replied standing up from my seat and walking out the classroom “I only say this cause’ I care” she yelled after me.

Making my way towards the newsroom, I’d never felt so nervous in my life, like get a grip girlie it was just your friend, surely this whole not speaking to me thing was just, not even a big deal and I was hyping it all up. I was still going to have a go at him though because he was angry when Archie ditched him and now he’s okay with doing it to me? Not on my watch.

I had the math book in my hand as I was walking up to the door of the newsroom, I had my best ‘pissed off face’ going on I was ready.

I had my hand almost on the doorknob when I took a quick glance through the doors glass window. That was when my stomach fell, my jaw dropped and my heart involuntarily shattered. It was just a glimpse that’s all I could allow myself to watch, but inside that dusty old newsroom was one Jughead Jones kissing Elizabeth Cooper. The feelings hit me like a truck, and then everything went numb.

I didn’t know what to do so without giving any sign I was there I dropped the math book and ran, I ran out of the school I ran past pops and all the way home. By this time the tears were free falling, I couldn’t stop it and I didn’t care. Once I was in the safety of being inside my house with the door locked I gave in to my emotions and just slid down to the floor.

Wow, I felt so stupid and so naive, why didn’t I see this coming, it all made perfect sense now. I guess this was me also coming to terms with the fact that as usual Ronnie was right, I was painfully in love with Jug and now I was too late to ever do anything about it.

The more I sat there and thought about it the more I came to realise that this was my fault. I held Jug up to this crazy high standard and just assumed it would always be him and me at the end of the day. I had sacrificed so much to hang out with him, to keep my “image”, I avoided making too many other friends, I avoided parties, extracurricular activities you name it I wasn’t a part of it. Now it was all going to change, it had to change. Maybe this was the wake-up call I needed. I had to work on myself, be better, be stronger. Most of all this needed to happen because this meant I could quite literally not be around Jughead anymore, I think seeing or talking to him would make me cry, something the new me will NOT be doing.

I picked myself up off the floor and headed to the bathroom to wash my face. “Get a grip Y/N, ” I told myself staring into the mirror. It’s like as soon as I come to terms with the feelings I think I may have had for years, I have to immediately try to get rid of them. I think this was a coping mechanism for me, and I think the reason I’ve never let myself admit that I had feelings for him before was because I fear rejection so much so very much, and I had to do what I knew would keep him around and that was to continue to be his friend. Well, little girl it’s time to grow up.

And what’s the best way to look more mature and confident, change your style. From what I’ve witnessed from the media, what you wear can have a profound impact on how people view you. This is what I had to do first, get rid of the “old me” look. This meant bye grey cap, bye dark lipstick ( I mean what was I even trying to do with that? Look like a corpse?) (oh wow corpse jokes really funny, maybe a bit too real in light of recent circumstances.) And also a very big goodbye to my jeans and army jacket, that would have to go too.

Looking through my closet it was apparent I didn’t have much to work with, I would definitely have to go shopping this weekend, I’ll bring Ronnie and Kevin along, they know fashion and are probably more than willing to help me out. AH HUH eureka! The dress I’ve been looking for! About two months ago I bought this really nice burgundy skater dress that I was planning to wear on a summer trip away, but when that got cancelled I never really had an excuse to wear it, until now. It showed a lot of leg, which I was surprisingly pretty comfortable with. The thought of people seeing me in this tomorrow made me feel a mixture of excitement and nausea.

The next thing that would change was the hair; no more would it be hidden by a cap and just randomly pulled back behind my face. I would wear it down and give it a curl. I think that would give me a nice elegant edge. God, I really don’t think anyone’s even going to recognise me tomorrow, kinda funny really. The next thing I had to do was go on to the school website and look for an extracurricular I would be willing to do. Hopefully, this would be a good way to make new friends and keep me busy.

I went and grabbed my laptop from my desk, as I did this I heard my phone vibrate, which meant I had a message. The name that made the screen light up made my heart skip a few beats, it was from Jug Hey, I just found my math book outside the newsroom? Why did you leave it there and not come inside? SIGH, reading that was like a knife to my chest, I immediately deleted the message, this may be immature but I needed time, I can’t bring myself to talk to him and if he can do it to me I can sure as hell do it to him.

Shaking those thoughts away I was brought back to the task at hand. Logging onto the schools web page I found the list of extracurricular activities going on at Riverdale high. Chess club? Pass. Girl’s soccer? Hard pass.  Mathletes? No way in hell. Come on there has to be something here. After fifteen minutes of looking to no avail I scrolled past the extracurricular activities. Eventually I saw an ad posted by the she-devil herself Cheryl Blossom, apparently, one of the river vixens had broken her ankle and a new vixen was needed immediately, auditions were tomorrow after school. Hmm, could I do this? Maybe I could? The old me would never dream of being a cheerleader but the new me, maybe she could. You know what, fuck it. It was decided, I caught myself slightly smiling as I clicked ‘attend’ on the event. It felt like a breath of fresh air, tomorrow I would walk into school confident and new. I was going to cure my own broken heart. I just hoped a run in with Jughead wouldn’t make it all come crashing down.

The Types as Things I have Done with My Summer So Far

First of all, I’m sorry about the hella title

ENTP: left the house until 9 pm (which is hella late for me) for the first time and had dinner with 2 friends while being glared at by a 3rd

ENTJ: started learning a new language while barely being able to speak my first two and studying my third at school

ENFP: got out of a friendship that got really toxic hell yeah haha fuck

ENFJ: learned how to use a sewing machine and sewed my brother’s name on his little napkin thingy for his flute and it’s looking good

ESTP: crawled under a tiny tiny bridge trying to get an aesthetic photo but instead soaked my foot in mud water

ESTJ: got angry at flies for not letting me rest in peace at night that I’ve picked up a habit of catching and suffocating them in jars. i use science as an excuse

ESFP: realised how picky i am with fanfics?? like idk what you guy’s’ve been reading but it’s like the same plot written by different people over and over again. i would write fanfics if i had the energy and motivation to ever continue them smh

ESFJ: betted 25 gems that i’d be able to keep a 7 day streak on duolingo and that i’d get twice the amount (i think) if i was able to. i lost it at day 4

INTP: wore the same outfit every time i had to leave the house the past five times because i simply dont care anymore

INTJ: so fucking relieved that i dont have to act like i like certain people every day anymore thank god

INFP: also worried about how getting out of that toxic friendship is gonna go because that person is friends with every single one of my other friends is this how i die

INFJ: thinking of every possible way to hang out with my crush without making it too obvious (I’m genuinely trying to get a summer job as a dog walker so he can help me walk dogs because i have no experience with dogs lmao)

ISTP: accidentally woke up at 2 am and had a conversation with a friend who goes to sleep at 8 am and wakes up at 5 pm (summer sleeping schedule guys)

ISTJ: bought my first pack of Cards Against Humanity cards + the first card i read was ‘penis breath’

ISFP: got into another fandom and announced my obsession with collecting things, much to my mother’s dismay and my father’s confusion

ISFJ: genuinely felt blessed for having a firefly stuck in my room. i love fireflies. i named it mason and im watching in fly around my room right now

For @whumpdump (AKA a super awesome friendo!)

“I’m dying,” Lance moans, draping one arm across his eyes while the other rests tightly around his stomach.

He had woken up that morning to a twisting stomach that left him stumbling into the bathroom of his small apartment, but after twenty uneventful minutes of kneeling in front of the toilet, he slipped shoes on, not caring that the two didn’t match, and started toward Keith’s apartment on the floor above his.

“What are you doing here?” you asked him as he stood on the doorstep of the house the two of you had bought together five years ago; the house you had made a home together, filling it with happy memories which you’d hung in mismatched picture frames on the walls over the years - these picture frames were now shattered in tiny pieces across the wooden floors of the house after your fit of rage the night he left; the house which was now filled with an eerie silence and the ghosts of your once perfect relationship; the house he’d abandoned you in five nights ago after giving up on your relationship.

“I’m sorry,” he said, his eyes tearful. “I didn’t… I never meant for it to be this bad. Please let me in, I just want to talk about it.” You were close to slamming the door in his face, but you resisted. The temptation of welcoming him back home was too strong. The hope of him changing his mind, going back on his word, was still there.

“I have questions for you,” you said, finally opening the door enough for him to enter. “Is it my fault?” you asked sitting on the coffee table in the lounge as Tom sat on the sofa he’d picked out eight months ago after he redecorated the lounge as a surprise while you were away working.
“No,” his face softened slightly. “No of course not. It’s not you, it’s-”
“It’s not you, it’s me,” you finished for him. “Really? You’re gonna use that bullshit?” Tom hung his head, almost in shame, realising how pathetic his clichéd excuse was. “Why, Tom? Do you even care about any of this? Do you care?” you gestured to the house around you, tears pricking at your eyes. “Why don’t you care about this life we’ve been building together over the past decade? Why don’t you care?”

Almost ten years ago, you had met Tom at a mutual friend’s birthday party and the two of you were smitten with one another instantly. You’d fallen in love with him fast. He’d seen you at your worst, and you’d seen him at his; when things didn’t seem to go the way either of you had planned in terms of your careers, or sour friendships, or just life in general, you always had each other to come home to. He was the only constant in your life, even if he was travelling throughout most of the year for his job. You had had rocky patches in your relationship in the past, of course, but neither of you had ever walked out before, never even threatening to do so.

“You took your ring off,” his breath hitched in his throat as he noticed the engagement ring he’d given you three years ago wasn’t in its usual spot on the fourth finger of your left hand. You nodded as you bit down on the inside of your cheeks to stop the tears from spilling. Tom rubbed his hands over his face, the skin of his hands catching on the stubble he hadn’t managed to shave.

“I couldn’t look at it anymore,” you said quietly. It was upstairs, in the drawer of his bedside cabinet, in the box it had came in when he bought it. You’d only brought yourself to take it off last night. Keeping it on had only reminded you of what you once had, and it kept a niggling thought in the back of your mind that he might come home and tell you it was only a joke, that he wasn’t really leaving you.

“Is there someone else?” you finally asked the question you didn’t have the courage to ask him the other day. It had been your first thought when he announced he was ending the relationship. He didn’t flinch at your question, not bothering to even lift his head up to look at you. “Oh God,” you exhaled shakily. Your chest felt heavy, knowing his answer without him having to say a word.
“It’s not what you think,” he said bluntly.
“Yeah, well, it never is, is it?”
“Let me explain, y/n, please.”
“I should’ve never ever trusted you,” you thought aloud. “Ten years, Tom. Ten years we’ve been together. Why don’t you care?”
“I do care.”
“No you don-”
“Yes, y/n. Yes I fucking do care. Why do you think I came back here, huh? Why do you think I’m talking to you in here rather than upstairs packing my stuff?” Tom sounded angry, his voice raised. His jaw was tense, and the vein in his temple was slowly becoming more prominent. His fists were balled in his lap, his knuckles turning an ice white. “I care. I care too fucking much,” he spat. “It’s killing me.”

“How long have you been cheating on me?” You asked after a long, uncomfortable silence.
“It’s not… I wasn’t… I’m not..” he stumbled over his words.
“Answer the damn question, Tom!”
“Four months,” he whispered. He lifted his head to look at you through teary eyes. “I’m sorry.” His voice sounded desperate. “Babe. Baby, please!” he called after you as you stood from you seat on the coffee table and left the lounge.

He followed you into the kitchen as you hurriedly tried to escape him. As he grabbed your wrist you turned to face him, brushing him off of you. He was crying now, sobbing even. Whenever you had seen Tom like this, you’d kissed him and held him in your arms, comforting him until he calmed down. But you couldn’t do that now, as much as you wanted to, you couldn’t wipe away his tears.

“After everything Harrison went through when Rachel cheated on him. You know how much that ripped him apart.” Six years ago, Harrison’s ex-girlfriend, Rachel, was sleeping with another man, and it had been Tom that had walked in on them. Of course, he’d told Harrison straight away, and he and Rachel had broken up, leaving you and Tom to pick up the pieces of Harrison’s broken heart. You’d both cried with Harrison, his misfortune paining you and Tom equally. You’d promised neither of you were ever to go through anything like that again. “Please, Tom. I’m waiting for an explanation.”

Tom took a deep breath to try and steady his racing heartbeat. His left hand rubbed at the skin of his right arm fiercely, a nervous habit he had picked up. With shaky hands, you wiped the tears from your cheeks, watching as he fidgeted under your gaze.

“I stopped seeing her,” he told you. “I know that doesn’t make it any better. I know. And I thought it would be okay, I thought I could just forget about it, like it was just a blip in our relationship. We’ve been together for almost eleven years, y/n. That’s a long time.”

“It’s not an excuse.”
“I know that,” Tom was sombre, his heart was heavy with sadness. “It was last year, the end of July. I… I ended it just before Christmas. I thought that if you never found out it would all be okay. And it was. We were so fucking good right after it, don’t you remember, baby? It made me realise how much I love you. I’m so fucking in love with you, babe. The, uhm, the affair just proved that to me. But then I kept having dreams of you finding out, and it made me feel so guilty and it was eating away at me. I just couldn’t put you through that. I thought that maybe if I ended it, with no explanation, I thought it would save you from heartbreak.”
“I gave you all of me, Tom. My blood, my sweat, my heart, and my tears. Everything. You know everything about me. I thought I knew everything about you too.”

“It’s been killing me,” he continued. “It’s killed me thinking of you alone in this house. I thought I at least owed you explanation.” His eyes followed you as you took a seat at the dining table, both of you unsure of what to say. “I love you,” Tom concluded. “I love you so much. I still want to marry you, babe. I still want to live in this house with you. I still want to start a family with you. I still want all of the future we planned together. If you’ll let me?”

“No,” you said, shaking your head.

“No?” Tom questioned, his voice wobbling. “I’m your soulmate, y/n. Don’t you remember what we used to say? We’re so lucky we found our soulmates so young because we have so much more time to spend together. Don’t you remember? You’re my soulmate. My fucking soulmate. I don’t want this to end. I can’t leave you. The other day, it was just the guilt, I know I needed to tell you. I needed to come clean. But we can try again, right?” He was almost begging you now. “We can forget about all of this. It’s just a bump in the road. You’re still my soulmate. This doesn’t change the fact you’re my soulmate.”

“Maybe I don’t believe in soulmates anymore, Tom.”

“Once More” Dean x Reader

Dean x Reader

Summary: Reader is Castiel’s daughter and is sneaking around with Dean.

Being Jimmy’s oldest daughter wasn’t easy. I had to accept at a young age that I would never see my father again, but in his place was this… Being. Castiel. At first he scared me, and I refused to be around him. “You’re not my dad…” I remember telling him the first time I met him. But as I continued to get older, I started to value him more, and I consider him to be my father now.

Today, I’m in college, still living with Jody. Even though Alex and Claire might not appreciate her, I do. After my little sister and I were left with no one, she was nice enough to let the two of us stay with her. Even now, when she’s technically not responsible for me anymore since I’m almost twenty-two, she lets me stay here instead of forcing me to live in a dorm. I will be eternally grateful, and Claire’s actions just pissed me off sometimes.

“Y/N, dinner time! And while you’re up there, tell Claire to get out of her room and join us!” Jody yelled from the kitchen downstairs. I picked my head up from my lore book, marking my place and setting it down gently on my bed. The one, and probably only, thing that my sister and I did have in common was our eagerness to hunt. Even then, that’s a long shot. She’s irresponsible, and half the time she’s wrong. I’m surprised she’s not in jail yet, even with Jody being the sheriff.

I close my door on my way out of my room, and pop my head into Claire’s room.

“Time to eat.” I tell her, watching her writing in a notebook.

“I’m busy.”

“And I don’t care. Come downstairs.” I roll my eyes. She huffs and rolls her eyes, but ultimately gets up and following me to the kitchen. God, her food smells so good.

“Where’s Alex?” I ask.

“Out with friends, I guess. She was vague on details.” Jodi tells me, setting my plate on lasagna on the table.

“She’s probably out having sex with that new boyfriend of hers.” Claire snickered.

“Her boyfriend’s an asshole, I don’t know why she’s with him.” I respond.

“Oh, you’re one to talk. You’re the one who screws-“ She started, but cut herself off when she realized she was going too far. A look of panic crosses my face, and Jody looks at me quizzically. Thankfully, she doesn’t push it any further.

“Hey, Y/N, I was going to tell you earlier but I forgot. Dean called me earlier, said they need extra help on a hunting trip.  Asked if you wanted to go along.”

“What? Of course I want to!” I practically yelled.

“I figured. They’ll be here tomorrow morning. After dinner, go pack.”

“That’s so not fair!” Claire whined. “They never invite me to go hunting with them.”

“I’m older than you, and quite frankly, a better hunter. So, quit.” I say, trying to stop the conversation before it happened. She has no filter.

I finish my dinner quickly, and excuse myself to my room to pack, only thinking about Dean. There had always been chemistry between the two of us, but he didn’t ever act on it until about a year ago. There was a case in the next town over, so Sam and Dean stayed at our house. One night, we were drinking a little, one thing led to another and we slept together.

We both felt extremely guilty about it. Not only was I only 20 years old, meaning he’s almost double my age, but because I’m his best friend’s daughter. Castiel cared about me and treated me like a daughter to the best of his ability, and if he found out that Dean had just screwed his daughter silly… I didn’t even want to think about it.

For a while, we avoided each other. When we did see each other after that, we never talked about that night. It was strictly business, or him asking how I have been. But I could see the way he looked at me. I could feel his staring at me when he doesn’t think I notice. I see the way he always seems to want to tell me something, but never does.

Claire noticed, too. “What’s going on between you and Dean? He’s looks at you like a man looks at his fiancé on their wedding day.” She finally asked one day, as we were sitting in her room together watching TV.

I made the mistake of hesitating to answer. She threatened to tell Jody, or worse, Castiel, if I didn’t tell her what happened. She promised not to tell anybody, but oh man, did she hold that over my head anytime she wanted something.

The second time we did it, it was in his impala. Castiel had called me, asking if I could accompany him in a hunt. I obliged, thinking it would only be us two. I showed up and got the surprise of my life when I saw the boys there, too. I don’t remember exactly how we ended up together in the car, but there had been so much sexual tension between us, going unspoken. We just started ripping each other’s clothes off, and had some really great sex in the backseat.

Ever since then, Dean and I had been finding every excuse to be together. The hard part was keeping it a secret and making sure no one was suspicious.

I finish packing, excited to see him tomorrow. I shouldn’t be this excited. He doesn’t want a relationship, I know that. I know it’s strictly sex. But a part of me wants more. I want to be able to call Dean my boyfriend, to able to not sneak around with him. I want to be able to tell him how much I love him, to feel happy with him. To have that “apple pie life.” But I know he couldn’t give me that even if he wanted to. His life was too fucked up for that. He was too fucked up for that.

I sigh, climbing into bed, and try to shut out my feelings.

-

“Rise and shine, Y/N.” I hear a man’s voicing saying from the doorway, a voice I immediately recognize. I groan, pulling the covers over my face.

“God, Dean, what time is it?” I croak out.

“Early. We gotta get out of here now if we want to be there by tonight.” He says, pulling the covers off my bed. I glare at him, looking at the clock on my nightstand.

“It’s four a.m. I want sleep.”

“Sleep in the car. You already know its comfortable back there.” He smirks, making me throw a pillow at him.

“I’ll be there in five minutes.”

I hurriedly get myself somewhat presentable, brushing my hair and teeth, and changing into regular clothes before grabbing my backpack and walking out the door. I walk past Claire’s room on the way, stopping and hugging her before I leave. I do this every time I leave for a hunt. I never know what could happen, and regardless of how annoyed she gets me, I love her.

I get to the impala, and notice that Sam isn’t there. I look at Dean, confused, but get into the passenger side of the car.

“Where’s Sam?”

“He’s meeting us there.” Dean replies, pulling out of the driveway and taking off. I felt my phone buzz, and see a text from Claire.

‘Should I start sucking Sam’s dick so I can get invited on hunts, too?’

I ignore the text, shutting it off and putting it in my bag. I don’t get to see Dean often- I’m not letting her ruin it.

The road trip was quiet and uneventful. I slept almost the entire time, and when I wasn’t sleeping, I was reading, which made Dean laugh.

“Maybe you should be with Sammy instead, you nerd.” He would joke. Every few minutes, he would look over at me and smile, not thinking that I could see him.

Before I knew it, it was already almost ten at night and we still had another three hours left of driving. I thought that Dean would just keep driving it, seeing that it was only three hours and he did this for a living, but after a few minutes he pulls into some sketchy looking motel.

“Motel, huh?” I tease.

“Shut up,” He laughs. He goes inside to get a room key while I start getting stuff out of the impala. I giggle slightly when I see that he still has my socks sitting in the floor board of his car. When we had sex in his car that one time, I accidentally left my socks after I left. He tried to return them to me, but I told him to keep them as a good luck charm, completely joking. But he never got rid of them.

It’s something stupid to be all giggly about.

“Room six.” Dean comes up to me, helping grab stuff. I lay down on the bed, enjoying the feeling of comfort after a long day of being cooped up in a car.

“You comfortable?” He looks at me, smiling.

“I am, but I need a shower. I’m just trying to gather the energy to get up and walk there.” I groan, not wanting to have to get up. Dean chuckled, and walked over to the bed, picking me up like I was a feather.

“You’re light.” He comments.

“You’re just strong.” I tell him, and he sets me down in front of the bathroom. “You know, I might need help taking my clothes off, too.”

“I’m happy to help.” His eyes sparkle, his face filling with lust. He leans in, slowly kissing me at first. I pick up the pace, opening the door to the bathroom and taking us both in there. Dean slams the door shut, and hurriedly takes my shirt off, not breaking the kiss. His hands roam all over my back, until finally unhooking my bra and taking my breasts into his mouth. I moan at the sensation, leaning against the wall in delight. He stops to take off his clothes, and I begin taking off my jeans and thong.

“Y/N, you’re beautiful. I don’t know how I got you.” Dean says, turning on the shower.

“I could say the same to you, daddy.”

His eyes got darker. He pulls me hungrily into him, kissing me hard and pumping two fingers in and out of my clit, making me moan. We step into the shower, both of us almost gasping at how good the warm water felt.

“What do you want, babygirl?”

“I want you to fuck me, daddy. Fuck me hard.” I beg. He enters me slowly from behind before going at it hard and fast.

“Fuck, Y/N” Dean hisses, hearing me moan like that was driving him over the edge. I knew he had a slight daddy kink, but not like this.

“Oh, yes, daddy, I’m close.” I barely get out, panting. He speeds up, his breath ragged at well.

“Y/N?” I hear a voice outside of shower. I jumped away from Dean.

“Hello?” The same voice says again.

Oh. My. God.

My face drops as I recognize the voice. I poke my head out of the shower just to make sure.

“Uh, hi, Castiel.” I say guilty, hiding my body behind the curtain. Dean stays silent.

“I heard you calling out for your dad. Are you ok?”

“I’m, uh, I’m fine. Sorry. You can leave now.” I choke out. I don’t think he knows Dean is in here.

“Are you sure? I can stay-“

“Castiel, I am in the shower. Please leave.” I rush him. He looks at me oddly, but eventually poofs out of the room.

“Shit, that was close.” I let out a breath.

“I can’t believe he actually did that, oh my GOD. That’s hilarious.” Dean is cracking up.

“You wouldn’t be laughing so hard if he had actually caught us.” I shot at him.

“Yeah, yeah, you’re right. But he didn’t, that’s all that matters.” He pulls me towards him, kissing me.

“So, should we continue? This is our only night alone together, you know.” Dean makes a good point.

“Definitely.”

hello friends!!

This list is more so about things that I didn’t realize I needed for college, and what I realized I didn’t need once I was already at college, rather than a wholistic list of what you’re going to need. If you google your generic “college essentials” list, they more or less are truly what you’re going to need. I’m simply trying to share my experience after my first year of college. here we go kids

Things you might not have thought of:

wedge pillow/husband pillow: you know when you wanna do work in bed and sit up against the wall, and you try and use your pillows for back support but you can never get them in a comfortable position???? yeah. fear not!! there are wedge pillows and/or husband pillows for this!!! personally, I didn’t realize how much work I would do in bed prior to college. If you’re someone who does this, I HIGHLY recommend getting one of these pillows. it’ll just make your life a lot easier.

clipboard: you know when you wanna do work in bed, but when you’re trying to take notes and be studious your notebook is too floppy and it’s an immense struggle to take notes???? yeah. GET YOU A CLIPBOARD. my god. you could also get a lap desk thing, but tbh a clipboard should suffice.

clip-on lamp: if you’re like me, you might hate artificial lighting and hate having all of the lights on. you might prefer a nice lil lamp. every college list tells you to get a desk lamp. BUT YOU SHOULD GET A CLIP ON LAMP. as i’ve said twice now, i love doing work in bed. but sometimes it just gets dark!! and while your lamp lights up the room well enough, you might strain to see what you’re reading and/or writing. so, get a clip on lamp!! you can clip it literally anywhere it can clamp on to. so much freedom. so beautiful. 10/10 would recommend.

a robe: i went into college thinking i could just wrap myself in a towel and flee to my dorm from the bathroom. However, you’re gonna dry your hair, and then your body. and then you’ll go on your journey to your dorm. but, you’re hair is still gonna be wet, and then get you wet, and get the floor wet, and it’s just not a good time. (also sorry for the comma splices rn lmao) please make your life easier and get yourself a robe. then you can wrap the towel around your hair and keep it dry, while not having to run to your dorm hoping that your towel doesn’t fall! it’s a good time.

stand up hamper: i got a laundry bag and thought that would be a fun way to store my gross clothing. false information my friends. you know when you’re trying to put something in a bag, but the bag just keeps closing on it’s own bc of gravity, and then you’re trying to open the bag with the object you’re trying to put IN the bag–you know what i’m talking about. that’s what will happen with a laundry bag for a hamper. just get a stand up one friends.

NAPKINS: it’s the things that you always have around that you don’t realize you need. just have napkins. too many reasons to explain why they’re necessary.

a step stool!!!: this is college. your bed is going to be high up. that’s just how it is. you CAN rely on the lil ladder to get onto your bed, but that’s always a bit of an awkward climb. i highly recommend a step stool. it helped my tiny lil self out every single day.

mattress pad: this one isn’t necessary. I didn’t have one when I first got to college. but then my mom forced one upon me, and it honestly changed my whole life. do it. you don’t need a full on foam top mattress (unless you want one that’s cool too), but anything helps. college beds feel like dried up sponges.

Things you probably don’t need

clothes: no matter what, you are not going to have the amount of clothes that you need your first year of college. you will either over pack or under pack. there is absolutely no in between. try not to bring too many clothes. you will truly thank yourself.

extra storage bins: if you think you might need extra storage bins to put all of your stuff in, then you’re bringing too much stuff to your dorm. trust me. the storage that your school provides will be enough. don’t bring too much to school. you’ll have many breakdowns where you get so overwhelmed by all of the unnecessary crap that you own. i know i did

too many pillows: y’all, this is college. no one has time for five decorative pillows. the bed is just big enough to fit one human being. don’t bring all of those pillows. you will have no where to put them. your dorm will be cute without the pillows.

shower shoes??????: idk. this, in my opinion, is optional. i feel like everyone stresses how disgusting college showers are and how if you don’t have shower shoes you’re bound to get foot fungus. i personally think this is exaggerated and emphasized by germaphobes. shower shoes are a nice precaution, but your showers aren’t going to be completely horrible. However, I go to a tiny liberal arts school, and shared a bathroom with 4 other girls. If you’re going to a larger school with community bathrooms, then please disregard this suggestion. protect ur toes.

i hope this helps some people out!! freshman year of college is going to be a great learning experience!!!!!

Peter Parker taking care of you while you're on your period

Hey guys. So it’s been a while since I’ve posted.

I’m in a double degree of nursing and business (and I really hate business) and trying to drop the business part has been taking up some time and also I had no fucking wifi for a month now because let’s just add that into my life (wifi is back though) Also starting a new semester at uni and bio seems really full on so I may post less because I really need to pass bio and have been throwing myself into studying for it for the past few weeks so I’m not lost in class (it was just our first week)

So busy busy for me But other than that, I love Peter Parker and Tom Holland but don’t see as much written about him so I’m gonna try change that by contributing some work. I hope you all enjoy

Peter Parker taking care of you on your period would include

  •  him coming to your room
  •  "Hey baby, are you feeling okay?“
  •  "No. It is a bad, bad week for me"
  • "I know. I’ve got it marked on my calendar"
  •  * Him getting in bed with you and your electric blanket AND heat pad/pack
  • Cuddles
  •  Drawing patterns softly on your back and tummy, knowing it distracts you from any discomfort
  •  Pulling out chocolate for you from his bag pack
  • Letting you move about however you want and not complaining once even if it makes him uncomfortable
  • Him calling Aunt May when he thinks you’re asleep "May, what else do I do? Can she lose too much blood? Do I get her stronger pain killers? Will she cry if I show her the teddy bear I bought her”. Something which made you smile immediately
  • Butterfly kisses all over your face
  •  After he does it a few times and you’re not so uncomfortable around him on your period he notices the way you heatedly stare at him
  • “Babe, you know how you said periods are all hormones and more hormones? Does that mean you get, uh, y'know, horny?"
  •  "Well I don’t stare you like you’re James Dean because I’m not horny"
  •  Him understanding the limits to fun time on your period but making it all about you. Neck kisses. Gentle worshipping of your chest. Grinding when you really need it.
  •  "Cmon, I ran you a bath"
  •  Babying you unlike anything you’ve ever seen. Including from your parents.
  • Telling you stories about the avengers and his crime fighting adventures
  •  Playing with your hair, even when you tell him you hate it when anyone plays with your hair, although you secretly make an excepting for him
  •  "I know it hurts. Come on, use my hands, squeeze em. There you go.” He soothes while rubbing your back
  •  Him not being grossed out when the nausea hits. Because of course you get cramps, bloating AND nausea
  •  "I’m not leaving. It’s not gross, it’s normal"
  •  Him making you drink extra water and bringing your fruits because you love fruits
  • “I don’t care, I don’t believe in blowjob week"
  •  Half sitting with you in between his legs, sleeping while he looks at you and wonders how he was lucky enough to have stumbled into your life
