You know for that whole take two Nordics and they'll have something in common thingy? What would you say for DenDen and Sw'd'n? (I had an urge and ran with it... Sorry for the mispelled names...)
Well, for starters, I think Denmark and Sweden look a lot alike! I personally headcanon them as biological brothers like ice and nor, so i think that if Denmark was to smooth down his hair and cover up his freckles, he could easily be mistaken for Sweden.
As far as personality goes, when the aren’t butting heads, I think Denmark and Sweden work well together. They both enjoy building furniture and the like, and they’re both very family oriented people, so I see them having a very easy companionship. Of course, Sweden would be largely silent, which I think is for the best considering Denmark’s general enthusiasm and chattiness.
They could spend hours together, Denmark rambling on about the viking days, about anything and everything, while Sweden works silently beside him, interrupting with the occasional monosyllabic response, urging Denmark on.
Moreover, I think that Denmark and Sweden switch places when their really, properly drunk. Sweden lets go of his defences and, shall we say, embraces his wilder side. Denmark, despite being overly cheerful and loud after a few beers, can start to quieten down when he’s absolutely smashed. He can go silent, serious, even a little depressing.
Although the two of them seem to be on opposite sides of the personality spectrum, I think that, when it comes down to it, they have much more in common than it first appears. Their relationship is quite reminiscent of Prussia and Germany’s, in that respect. They may be pretty darn different, but they’re brothers, they care about each-other, and there’s lots more to their dynamics than what most people assume.
