“(Y/N), can I please speak to you and Montgomery in the classroom?”
You, the sweet, introverted, band geek, were just finishing packing up everything from your locker for the long weekend, until you were interrupted by your teacher, who was busy talking to Montgomery De La Cruz, the cocky, extroverted, asshole jock.
Quickly bidding Alex Standall, your closest friend, goodbye, you picked up your bass and backpack, and made your way into the classroom with the teacher and Montgomery, who might I add, was staring holes into your back the entire time.
“Look, Montgomery. I’m going to make it very clear that you are on the rim of failing my class. You’re passing, currently, with a 53%. I’m also going to make it very clear that the likelihoods of you getting into any college with a mark below a 60% in English is very, very slim.”
You had a slight idea of where this conversation was going, and as much as you found Montgomery physically attractive, he had a personality that definitely did not match his looks.
“(Y/N), you may know where I’m heading with this topic, but I want you to tutor Montgomery in English, until he gets his marks up to at least a 70%. I’ve already talked to him briefly about having a peer tutor, and he specifically asked for you. Now, what’s in it for you, is that this could potentially be used as extra-credit. As well as volunteer hours which look stunning on university applications, especially UCDavis.”
Your eyes widened, stunned at the idea that Montgomery wanted you as his peer tutor.
What am I to him? Why would he want me as his peer tutor?
Sure, you could sometimes feel his eyes on you in class or in the cafeteria, but you only thought of it as him looking at you because your the shy, quiet girl who doesn’t talk at all to anyone except Alex Standall; who’s practically Montgomery’s worst enemy.
You looked over at him, and saw his hazel eyes boring straight into your (e/c) eyes with a smile gracing his face.
Not his usually cocky, or lusty, or arrogant smile.
But a genuine smile that seemed to convey so much more than what it held.
And it was at that moment you broke. “Yes, Ms. Clark, I would be more than willing to help Mr. De La Cruz with English.”
Montgomery seemed to release a breath that he was keeping in for the past minutes and the teacher clapped her hands happily. “Perfect, okay! You’ll start today, I’ve reserved a table for the two of you in the library, happy studying!” She ushered you out of the class and shut the door on you before you could object.
Her quick change in behaviour slightly startled you, but you took nothing important of it.
You shuffled from on your feet awkwardly, not knowing how to approach the situation of talking to an attractive boy that seemed to show some interest in you. “Should we… go to the library?”
Montgomery smiled at your awkwardness and let out a quiet laugh. “Yeah. Yeah, we should.” And with that the two of you began your silent trek to the place of quiet and learning.
You were quite comfortable with silence, Montgomery, however, was not.
“So, you play the bass? I used to play, when I was smaller.” You immediately piped up at his incorrect grammar and fixed him.
“Younger, actually. You used to play when you were younger, not smaller…” Trailing off, you realized what you had said and thought that you had ruined your chances of being able to befriend him.
“Right, right, see? I’m glad I have you now as a tutor. To fix all my mistakes.”
The two of you exchanged a smile and walked in silence to the library.
Can you do an imagine where Jughead loses his laptop and the reader and him split up to find it the reader finds it and finds out he’s been writing about the reader
I had a lot of fun writing this, hope you enjoy!

The school bell rung at the end of the lesson signalling the long awaited home-time for the students of Riverdale High. Your best friend - and partner in crime, Jughead Jones, was particularly eager to get out of school today so he could work on his novel, which by the way, was highly classified. Nobody, not even you were allowed to peak.
The two of you walked out of class together as always to head over to Pop’s Diner where he would type away endlessly and you’d occupy yourself with Homework or reading a book - secretly admiring the way Jughead’s concentrating face looked when every so often his brows would furrow in the cutest way when he got stuck. Yes, you were crushing on your best friend. You have been for a while, but you try to ignore it since you know Jughead wouldn’t feel the same.
“(Y/N)!” You were pulled from thought as you walked along side Jughead down the school hallway. “Hmm?” you turned to face your friend as he stopped dead in his tracks, searching through his backpack frantically. “My laptop! It’s gone!” he panicked. “What? Where did you last leave it?” you ask concerned. He looked at you as if he were about to say something snarky but decided against it. “It should be in here! I never leave it anywhere, it’s with me at all times.” Jughead was looking extremely worried now. “What if it’s been stolen? All my work is gone! wha-” You cut him off; “JUG! We’ll find it, okay? I’m sure you just left it lying around somewhere. We’ll split up and look for it. You check your place and Pop’s, and I’ll search the school.” Jughead glanced at me and paused for a second, worry etched on his face. “uhh.. Okay. Yeah, just.. Call me right away if you find it, yeah?” You simply nodded. “Thanks.” He said, and with that the two of you parted.
The first place you thought to check was the school paper room, where you know Jughead has been helping Betty out lately, and not to your surprise, Jughead’s laptop was safely sitting on the desk he’s been working on. You got out your phone to call Jughead but halted when you saw a familiar picture peeking from the half-open screen. It was a picture of you and Jughead when you were little, You both sat hugging each other and grinning widely in Jughead’s tree house. A small smile crept to your lips at the memory, curiosity got the better of you. Was this Jughead’s murder novel? Why was this picture in it? You couldn’t help but to peak. Filled with confusion and guilt, you slowly lift the screen up and scan your eyes across the page. Your heart drops and you feel a tight sensation in your stomach. This looks like some kind of love poem.
A tear escapes your eyes as you read it. Jughead has really put so much emotion into this. You had no idea your best friend felt this way. There was so much passion you didn’t even know Jughead had. He describes the way that he’s addicted to the way he feels when he thinks of you, The feeling of adoration every time he looks into your eyes and the world just stops. “(Y/N!?)” You jump back so fast that you almost fall over. Jughead had remembered where he left the laptop and came as quickly as he could. He stood at the door frame watching you. “What did I ask you about not reading what was on there!?” He snapped. “I’m so sorry Jug, I really am. I just saw that picture and I couldn’t help it. I shouldn’t have. I’m such a terrible human being!” You rushed your words out, distraught. You felt utterly terrible.
You didn’t realise until Jughead ran over and engulfed you in a tight hug that you were crying. Tears streamed down your face, whether it was from the poem or your guilt you couldn’t tell. “Hey, it’s ok.” Jughead shushed you. “It was a stupid mistake. I don’t know how I managed to leave that page open for you to see.” You both pulled back and Jughead went bright red, the realisation that he’s been busted finally hitting him. “uhh.. About that..” He trailed off, rubbing his hand behind his neck awkwardly. You reached up and crashed your lips onto his. He kissed back with almost desperation, a fire in the pit of your stomachs. The kiss died down into a more slow and passionate one until you pulled apart and stared into each others eyes. Jughead’s smile reached his ears. “The poem was beautiful, Jug.” You simply stated and he replied sarcastically of course; “Oh that thing? that was just about Pop’s.” You let out a laugh and lightly smacked his arm. “speaking of Pop’s..” He started, “I’m hungry.” He said “Let’s go eat then, Pendleton” You teased.
I saw a post going around suggesting Natalie Dormer for the upcoming Captain Marvel movie and I couldn’t get it out of my head!! So I drew ya’ll a fake poster to go along with my other fake Marvel poster.
lol i bought some of my own prints from society6 just to check their print quality ((because i’ve been getting so many requests about uploading my art so people could get them as prints but i wanted to make sure that the quality was nice)) – was a bit surprised at how the different the colors were – they were very faded and yellowish (so i pulled out the mini comic prints) ;; the magazine mockups were a bit dark but i think it’s okay *__* i still kinda liked the prints from the local shop better ((the family portrait prints are so smooth when printed large AAAA so happy)) :0 anyway i left the magazine mockups in society6 so idk
these are terrible phone photos im sorry i was in a rush hahaha
Prompt: Imagine being from the same Earth as Kara and Cisco and Barry instantly being attracted to you.
A/N: This was so rushed and so terrible I think I might throw up, but whatever! Hope you guys enjoy!
“Kara, I swear to god, what did you leave in your apartment now? We have to go! I can’t miss Chris Evans being hot!” I was whining like a child. Kara was dragging me down the hall, using her strength to pull me.
“We go up the stairs so much I might as well skip leg day at the gym.” I grumbled. I know it’s immature, but she needs to see just how displeased I am.
“I’m sorry, okay?! I just don’t want to have to pay for $3,000 popcorn when we have some at home!” Kara took her keys out of her pocket to unlock the door, only to drop them onto the ground. She sighed and quickly picked them back up.
“You are so clumsy, sometimes I wonder if it’s even you out there fighting bad guys!” I said pushing the door open. I quickly stopped in my tracks in the door frame when I saw two guys standing in the middle of Kara’s kitchen looking very lost.
“Um, Kara? Are there supposed to be two strange men standing in your kitchen?” I asked, not taking my eyes off of them. Kara was still rifling through her bag.
“No, why-” She was cut off by the sight of them. A huge smile spread over her face as she saw them and she dropped her bags.
“Barry! Hi! Why are you here?” Her face suddenly turned serious. “Is there something wrong in Central City?” He smiled and laughed, shaking his head.
“No, we just wanted to come visit again. We were travelling through the Earths, making sure everything was as it was before I, you know, changed the timeline…” He looked down at his feet awkwardly and scratched the back of his neck.
“But, ummmm who is this, lovely lady?” The shorter one said, attempting to lean back onto the kitchen island.
“I’m Y/N. Who are you guys?” I asked, still cautious. Listen, I don’t care if Supergirl thinks that these guys are swell, they just showed up in a locked apartment on the tenth story. That shit is not right.
“Right! Um, Y/N, this is Barry Allen, the Flash, and this is Cisco Ramon, also known as Vibe. I told you about them after I came back from fighting the Dominators. Barry, Cisco, this is Y/N, my best friend. She is also known as the Black Mamba.”
“Whoa, you have superpowers? What are they?” Cisco bounced up and down excitedly, waiting for my answer. I smiled at his childish attitude. It was like looking into a mirror. If that mirror made me a dude. And a geek. And nothing like me.
“I can borrow other people’s powers. I have no idea where a name like ‘The Black Mamba’ came from…” I cleared my throat before shooting a stern glance at Kara.
“But it seemed to stick with people.” Kara sighed loudly.
“Look! I just suggested the name in passing! Ms. Grant seemed to like it, and you know when she likes something, she does not change her mind.” I playfully rolled my eyes at her exasperation with me. This always happened.
“But we have to leave now if we’re going to have enough time to go see the movie and buy the tickets. You guys wanna come?” Kara offered to the two of them.
“Yeah! Sounds good. What movie are you guys going to see? It’s not a chick flick, is it?” Barry asked, whining a little at the end. Kara and I looked at each other before laughing loudly.
“Are you kidding me? I’m like the biggest geek in National City! We’re going to see Captain America: The Winter Soldier.” I said, throwing one of the bags Kara handed to me over my shoulder. Their faces lit up with smiles.
“You guys have Captain America here too?! Man, this day keeps getting better and better!” Cisco said.
“Well we have to go if we ever want to actually see the movie, let’s go!” Kara said, speed walking to the door.
I think I’m going to get along just fine with these guys.
