Pairing: Jensen x Reader

Word Count: 3,262

Summary: The reader catches Jensen snooping through her phone.

Part 1 Part 2

“What the hell was that, Jensen? Tell me now.” Danneel demands angrily narrowing her eyes.

“Um…she…well…I’ll be right back, ok?”

“Just give me a minute! I have to talk to Jared.” Jensen bolts to his costar’s trailer without waiting for a reply.

“What’s up?” Jared asks when Jensen bursts through his door like a mad man.

“What did Y/N say?”

“About what?”

“Don’t fuck with me right now, Padalecki.” Jensen growls surprising them both.

A/N: Hope you guys are liking these so far!

Request: Prompts 1, 9, and 19 from list 2! With Jason

Warnings: Blood, injury

There’s so much blood,” Jason whispered, wide eyed as he pressed a strip of his t-shirt to your temple. “Come on baby, stay with me,” he muttered, desperately trying to stop the bleeding. “Stay with me.”

You opened your eyes, squinting as white light penetrated your vision. You groaned at the splitting pain in the side of your head. You realized you were in a hospital bed.

“Babe!” you heard from your right side, and you slowly looked over. You were met with a blur that resembled Jason. You blinked a couple of times and your vision cleared.

Jason looked concerned, has brow was turned up and his eyes were wide. “Can you hear me?” he tried again, one of his hands moving to cradle your face.

You nodded. “Yeah,” you whispered hoarsely, your throat hurting slightly. “What happened?” you asked.

Jason looked confused, then worried again. “You don’t remember last night at all, do you?”

You shook your head, brow furrowing in curiosity. “Last thing I remember was getting ready for patrol with you.”

“You-” Jason stopped to take a breath. “You got attacked. I- I didn’t even see it coming before they were- they were gone and you were on the ground,” he continued, his voice beginning to crack.

You moved your hand to his, which was still cradling the side of your face.”It wasn’t your fault,” you whispered, stroking the back of his hand with your thumb.

“You don’t even remember what happened,” he replied, smiling halfheartedly.

“I know you, Jay. You have this habit of blaming yourself for things that aren’t your fault,” you said, smiling softly.

“I thought I was going to lose you,” he mumbled, moving his head to rest on your shoulder. “You weren’t responding to me,” he started, the helplessness returning to his voice. “You had this- this dazed look. Like-like you were already gone.”

“I’m right here, Jay,” you whispered soothingly.

“I know, baby,” Jason replied. “I know.”

“It’s about time you showed up sleepyhead!” said Jared. “We’ve been out there stalling and goofing around for ever.”

“Hey, it’s not my fault you guys decided to show up early the one time I’m running late,” you said. “Blame Jay. He’s the one that came down without me.”

“He said you were taking forever in the bathroom,” said Jared, obviously no longer in any rush when you saw you were still two minutes early.

“I was braiding my hair, again, after he went and messed it up, again. That man loves to play with it,” you said, cocking an eyebrow. “This isn’t the morning panel where I can show up looking like a zombie.”

“I hear Y/N back there. I guess someone decided to come to work today,” you heard Jensen tease from on stage. You grabbed a mic and hopped up the step to get up there, Jared right on your tail.

“Don’t even get me started mister,” you said, taking your normal seat next to him. Jared started laughing to himself as he walked past and you saw a few people start to snicker as well. “He did not mess up my hair again, did he?”

“Nope, but you two certainly are coordinated today,” said Jared, biting back a smile. You glanced down at your pretty light blue dress shirt with rolled up sleeves. You had a simple pair of dark skinny jeans on with some tall brown boots.

“Oh,” you heard Jensen say at the same time as you. He had on a light blue dress shirt, dark jeans and brown boots, albeit his were under his pant leg but still…you looked like twins.

“Did I miss the memo?” teased Jared, a small blush creeping over your face. But Jensen threw his arm around your shoulders, those damn long fingers playing with the ends of your hair again.

“We happen to have excellent taste,” said Jensen. “Right baby?”

“Obviously. We chose each other after all,” you said, Jared rolling his eyes as you heard an ‘aw’ rise up in the room.

“Alright, we got a whole hour for you two to be cute. Let’s get this thing started, shall we?”

5/23/17 pt 2

pairing: jason todd x reader

warnings: cursing, fluff, idk

prompt: the date lol
prompt list that i reblogged but don’t know how to insert soz

5: “ Why do you hate me? ”
17: “ Are you upset with me? ”
23: “ Why did you spare me? ”

or say other things like,
“Amazing, how you put up with her.”
Or once, when I was crying because my heel broke and it was raining and I lost the paperwork and it was a bad day and I had to be comforted by Trevor, as soon as he left Jason said,
“Had to call your boyfriend to come comfort you? Why’d he leave you here? Cant drive you home to watch cartoons?”

Let’s just say that we both said vile things to each other every time we had a short meeting.

Which brings me to today, where I have to go to a ball for the opening of another company’s new branch. I am here for diplomatic reasons and Bruce was gracious enough to give me a plus one. “Only two of my boys will be attending, feel free to bring someone along.”

I ask Trevor if he wants to come to a work event with me and he says no so I go it alone. When I call Bruce he says that it’s a shame but I am welcome to come over to the manor and carpool with them. He doesn’t say it like that but you get the gist.

It’s a winter ball and I’m wearing this navy/royal blue gown with long sleeves. My hair is that trendy “looks barely wet, out of the shower, but not ugly” kind of look and I pull a nude lip with a golden cut crease. I don’t plan on dancing so I wear one of my taller pairs of heels and drive over to the manor with some paperwork. Work doesn’t rest, does it?

When I get to the manor I have the joy of meeting Alfred again. He allows me inside and tells me that “everyone should be down in ten” and “oh, let me take those files for you, have fun tonight and blame the work papers on me!”
Mr. Wayne is in a tux already standing by the steps ordering Dick and Jason to hurry up and then I see them.

So handsome, Dick is wearing a black and white tux with accents the same colour as my dress and Jason, while I hate to admit it, looks dashing in his black but slightly maroon tinted tux.

“Where’s your date gone? Didn’t have work at the ball to help you with so he didn’t want to come?” (JT)

“Jason Peter, stop that at once.” (BW)

“It’s fine Mr. Wayne. Really, Jason doesn’t know how a proper boyfriend acts so he has to stalk mine.” (Y/n)

“Ooh, burn. Y/n, you look elegant tonight, I’d be happy to accompany you tonight.” (RG)

“Thank you Richard, it seems we make quite the pairing tonight.” (Y/n)

“The blue definitely makes your skin glow,” Dick says, “a dress fitting the woman wearing it.”

“It’s not the dress that makes my skin glow, thank you though. Your flattery is very well appreciated.” I giggle as we make our way into the car.

The drive is not too long, Bruce asked me about work and the recent activities in the work sphere and starts to talk to me about higher positions.

“Oh, Mr. Wayne, are you sure? I am quite young and would not want to upset the older offices that may want the opening.”

“Yeah, she actually just may upset herself, always stressed out enough as it is.” (JT)

“Jason, I think she can handle herself fine, she fits well with the family and there isn’t someone else I trust for this particular role.” (BW)

“I’ll definitely think about it and give you an answer tomorrow morning.”

We get to the ball and exit the car. As we waltz our way to our table I have this strange feeling and begin to worry.

“Hey, are you okay?” (RG)

“Oh, Dick, I am fine. I’m just a little queasy.”

“You’ll be fine, you’re probably just hungry. Let’s eat and we both can partner away for dances.” (RG)

“Of course, thanks Dick.” I nuzzle into his arm and let him lead me to the table.

Jason is glaring at Dick and I have no clue why. Does he hate me?

We sit at the table and begin our chat with some of the employees from the other company. They are so fruitful and lively. As we eat, I see something out of the corner of my eye.

“Is that Trevor?” I whisper. No one could hear except for Dick and maybe Jason if he was really listening.

“What?” Dick whispers back.

“Look,” I whisper even quieter than before, “he’s with anothe-”

And he kissed the girl he was with right then.

I gasp and immediately look down as if I was not supposed to see them. My eybrows furrow and I begin to pout.

I excuse my myself and run to the bathroom. I really didn’t want this to happen tonight, not with Jason here. This is embarrassing and making me angry. God, of all days?

“Of all days?” I yell into the bathroom mirror.

Luckily the bathroom was nearly empty and I swiftly left. I can’t stand Trevor. Gosh this is why we had to spend so much time at my work! All these nights he wasn’t spending with me he must have been spending with someone else!

I just entered the doors to the ballroom and quickly my left arm was being pulled and suddenly I was being pulled into an embrace. I am surrounded by the smell of Dicks cologne.

“Hey, how are you holding up?”
Dick smiles at me gently and guides me around the dance floor.

“Ugh, to be honest, not well but I’m going to get through it. I just don’t want to talk to him tonight.”

Dick dips me and we both rotate.

“Is this the first time something has happened like this?”

“Great detective, trying to solve another case?” I tease while swatting his bicep. “I mean, tonight was definitely a wake up moment but I guess I should have seen it all along.”

“Yeah? Jason tells me that you guys were real love birds in the office.”

“Jason talks about me? Haha, how sweet. You could say we were lovebirds, only in the office. I always wondered why he couldn’t stay the night or why we spent little time out of work hours. He was hanging around her during the hours without me. It makes sense now.”

“Don’t worry, you are a real catch, and if I could, I’d ask you out myself.”

“Oh, and why can’t you, billionaire bachelor?”

“Sweetheart, I already know someone who’s got eyes for you.”

The song is about to end,
“Really? Who?”

And Dick bows me goodbye and I’m standing alone on the floor. I see Trevor dancing nearby and I hope he doesn’t see me alone! Oh gosh! What can I do?

There! Is this my only option?
My way out? I can’t believe that this is how I have to do this…

I tug on Jason’s sleeve and quickly switch with the girl he’s dancing with.

“Rude much?”

“Okay I am so so sorry but it’s an emergency.”

Jason groans and looks away.

“Are you upset with me?” I ask.

“What? No.”

We are still dancing and Trevor is nowhere near paying attention to us. Still whispering sweet nothings to his other girlfriend.

I say nothing as we dance and soon Jason is pulling left and right and we sashay around.

“Woah! What are we doing?”

“Well, if you won’t tell me the emergency I am not going to stop having fun.”

I smile,
“Jason I hate to tell you this, but my boyfriend is over there and I am trying to avoid him, or at least not be seen without a partner while I figure out what to do.”

I start dancing more fearlessly as Jason’s hold on me becomes more secure.

“Why are you trying to avoid him?”
Jason begins to look around and sees how he is acting with that other girl.

“Hey dumbass, don’t make it obvious. He’s cheating on me alright! I thought he didn’t want hang out with me tonight but he already had plans.”
I start to tear up and I slow my dancing.

“Hey, hey. Don’t cry, you didn’t do anything wrong.”
Jason strokes the side of my face and lifts my chin.

“I did though, I wasn’t that good of a girlfriend and he needed another one.”
I attempt to look down but Jason doesn’t let me.

Jason guides me to the balcony outside and continues our slow dancing.

“All this attitude and you only show it towards me, why not show it towards him, huh? Does that make me special?”
He smirks and the corners of my lips begin to rise.

“Don’t think of yourself too highly, Todd.”

“Why do you hate me?” He asks with stern eyes.

I was taken aback by that sudden question.

“What? I don’t hate anyone–”

“So why are we like this?”

“Jason, I dislike a lot of aspects of you but-”

“What aspects?”

“Stop cutting me off and listen you bloke.”

His lips shut in two second and I smile.

“You really want to know the truth?”

He nods.

“I gotta tell you. The truth will hurt. Especially for a certain little daddy’s boy.”

He pouts and pretends to be upset.

“Okay, its honesty time. I don’t think we have each other a real chance. The first time we met was a disaster and I guess I still carry tensions because you wouldn’t apologize. You can blame my aggression on work or whatever, you were something to take it out on. I guess we were opposites and you know what they say about opposites.”

“That they attract?”

I laugh.
“They have more to fight about.”

We keep dancing in silence until he hand moves from my waist to my back.

“You look gorgeous tonight, just saying.”

“You look somewhat better than how I usually see you, thanks.”

He pretends to be hurt and I chuckle.

“Tell me Jay, why were you so mean to me?”

“Question of the century, why did you not spare me?”

I place me head on his chest and we continue to sway. I’ve almost forgotten what happened with my boyfriend.

“I like fighting with you. You are so cute when you’re mad. I also would like to take this opportunity to ask you out.”

He stares down at me as our dance paused.

I smirk and make my way to the bar, positive that he would follow me.

“Playboy, can’t you see I’m tired of having my heart broken.”

“Bubbling cider, make it two.” He orders the bartender and then looks me dead in the eye. “There is nothing I wouldn’t do to try and make you happy.” He proceeds to kiss my hand slowly.

“Cliche, much? Why me?”
I take a sip of my non alcoholic drink (a/n: soz I don’t drink and I don’t know anything about drinks sorry this is bland)

“You are a hard worker, brilliant, beautiful, why wouldn’t I?”

“Try harder.”

“Alright princess, ever since I met you, I’ve already known a little bit about Bruce’s little miracle worker. I caught you and tried to get you interested by making you a little jealous. It didn’t work, but at least we had a relationship that developed. I’ve been waiting too damn long to ask you this, so I’m asking you now. Will you go out with me?”

I grin, “ Of course, my hero for the night can get a dinner with yours truly.”

“You wanna break up with Trevor first.”
Jason smiles and tips his drink towards the happy couple.

“I forgot all about that, let me.”

I walk over to Trevor and right when he and his partner switch, I slide into his arms.

“Oh! Y/n, I can explain! I-”

“Yea whatever, we are over and I want all my stuff back by Thursday, you can bring them over to the office but be sure to leave it with the receptionist.”

I lean in close to his ear and continue, “Don’t be worried, no harsh feelings. Just don’t expect anything from me ever again. Like helping you explain what I’m about to tell your girl over there.”

His eyes widen and I leave him before he apologized. I then joined his girlfriend in a dance and explain everything. She storms mad at Trevor and leaves with out him, while I, leave with Jason.

“It was fun watching you dance kitten, you are so entertaining.”
He kisses my cheek as we head into the car.

Bruce and Dick are in the car, already sleeping while Jason and I spend the car ride cuddling and catching up on all we missed while we were spending months fighting each other.

It’s going to be a great relationship, sprouted from a coffee spill.

Jason Todd: Family and Fiancé

Imagine having a family dinner with the Batfam and they’re more than surprised to find out you’re Jason’s fiancé.

Warnings: Swearing

Prompt: “Where Jason shows up to the manor for family dinner with a girl and it’s the batfams first time meeting her and it turns out she’s Jason’s fiancé and they’d been dating for years but no one knew”

Today was the day, the night that could potentially scar you for life according to Jason Todd. Meeting his family for dinner was definitely a nerve wracking situation that you’d both avoided for as long as possible but Jason had decided seeing them was inevitable, so fully equipped with exciting news the two of you found yourselves standing in front of the exquisite entrance to Wayne Manor.
Seconds later, the door was opened and you were greeted by none other than Alfred.
“Ah Master Jason, Miss (y/n) I’m glad you could make it. Please come in.” The butler politely welcomed with a smile.
“Is that Jaybird?” An unfamiliar voice echoed from behind the butler.

“Jaybird?” You repeated to Jason, who stood beside you and he easily detected the mischief in your tone.
“Uh yeah, a nickname of mine around here.”
“Oh I’m definitely remembering that one!” Came your upbeat voice, clearly pleased with your new discovery.
The stranger that soon came in view turned out to be a raven haired male, slightly shorter than Jason but he wore a charming smile.
“Woah, I’m Dick Grayson - and you’re (y/n) was it? Such a beautiful name.” The stranger addressed cheerfully, he was good looking -you’d give him that.
With that he gently kissed your left hand, expression faltering for a second. Before you could even react Jason had basically tackled him, a string of curse words leaving his lips based on his brother’s previous action - of course they were only messing around. You didn’t question when Jason went chasing after his brother since he could get a little hot headed sometimes, this left you with none other than Damian Wayne and Alfred, the former you’d recognised from the newspapers.

“Are you Jason’s significant other?” The boy asked, straight to the point just as Jason had described.
“That I am, and you’re Damian Wayne if I’m not mistaken. Pleased to meet you, my name is (y/n) (l/n).” Was your casual response, offering a hand as a greeting.
Damian had a surprisingly firm handshake but you expected nothing less from the son of Bruce Wayne who you had yet to meet.
“Well I respect you for being able to put up with Todd for so long (l/n). Would you like me to show you to the lounge to meet the others whilst Pennyworth prepares our meal?” Damian asked, of course making sure to insult his brother in the process.
“Please, that’d be great considering Jason had just disappeared on me.” You replied gratefully, allowing the boy to lead you through his home.
“That’s a common trait in our family, trust me.” Damian muttered, his tone as emotionless as ever.

Meanwhile, Dick had managed to get Jason wrapped up in a family discussion concerning the ring you wore on you left hand, a ring that suggested you were either married or engaged. The family had seemed bewildered once Dick told them after bursting into the room, Jason following with a bored expression that only morphed into a glare once Dick opened his mouth. Unfortunately he was unable to get a word in once the whole Batfam had insinuated you were cheating on your partner because the idea of Jason proposing never once crossed their minds - this was the first time they’d even met you, Jason would introduce his partner to them beforehand. Jason and yourself obviously knew different.

“Jason! She’s a married woman, she’s cheating on someone - that’s not a good thing.” Bruce sternly voiced, deciding against beating around the bush.
“Ok, first off she’s not married - (y/n) is engaged and secondly -” Jason tried, a feeble attempt at explaining your situation before he was interrupted.
“Right because being engaged makes it that much better? Jason how could you bring (y/n) along knowing about this?” Bruce groaned, fully aware of how irrational his son could be at times.
“Wow Bruce. As funny as this is, I’m gonna have to put a stop to it. I know (y/n) is engaged since we’ve been together for years and I brought her along because I love her and wanted you to meet her.” Your fiancé began for a second time.
Years?! Oh boy, that’s great but I bet (y/n) says ‘I love you’ to her fiancé every night and look where we are now.” Tim concluded, gesturing with hands to emphasise his point.
“They’re right, I do say that actually.” Came your calm tone as you made your presence to the minor dispute well known, you came to a stop beside Jason. Damian letting out a sigh due to his families antics.

“(Y/n)…” Cassandra mindfully acknowledged in the midst of the chaos, holding out her hand as a from of greeting, she’d yet to meet you so why not now.
“Are you two sure about this? I get that you’re happy but it’s not fair on her fiancé.” The eldest brother, Dick, continued after your attention was momentarily distracted.
“I’m pretty sure he’s ok with it to be honest.” You grinned, a hint of sarcasm laced your voice as you looked to Jason for reassurance.
“What?! You’re engaged and he’s alright with this?” Tim practically squeaked whilst frantically gesturing between yourself and Jason.
“For fucks sake! (Y/n) is engaged to me.”

The whole room fell silent as they took in the new information in an awestruck fashion, it would be an understatement to say they were shocked - Jason was the last person they’d expect to get engaged.
Dick was the first to break the silence as he broke out into sparkling grin to engulf you both in an enthusiastic hug.
“Congratulations! That’s great Jay, I’m so happy for you both and sorry for uh - you know - jumping to conclusions but it’s really nice to meet you (y/n), good job at keeping Jaybird here in check!” Dick praised, excitement ringing through his voice after the genuine apology whilst the others still remained in a state of confusion.
“How come we’ve never met (y/n) before, you could’ve at least introduced us Jason.” Tim complained as he shook your hand, giving you a brief smile before turning his attention back to his brother.
“Can you blame me? I didn’t want to scare (y/n) away, especially with Demon Spawn over there.” Jason muttered, sending a glare to the youngest who was basically analysing you at this point until he heard the unoriginal insult thrown at him.

With a light nudge from yourself, you’d gained your fiancé’s attention as well as that of his family, you were new and none of them knew you as a person yet making everything you did stand out in some way.
“Back off Jay, Damian has been nothing but polite this evening and besides they couldn’t scare me away after all the shit you and I have been through.” You defended the youngest of the family with ease, despite knowing exactly what he was capable of.
“(Y/n) whose side are you on? Remember who you’re marrying here.” Your fiancé cut in, his tone holding a hint of amusement, Damian simply smirked.
“Well Jaybird, according to your family it’s not you.” Your response was half hearted, receiving a laugh from Jason and a few of the other family members but of course they felt a pang of guilt zip through them.

Though you were joking, the rest of the family had realised their mistake and started to feel responsible, except Damian who had miraculously taken a liking to you in recent minutes.
“I would like to apologise for jumping to conclusions (y/n), it’d be best to start afresh so it’s nice to finally meet you. And congratulations of course.” Bruce started, offering you his hand, his statement was soon followed by a string of apologies from your future in-laws.
“Don’t worry about it, I suppose it’ll be a great story to tell the kids -” You cheerfully responded, before you were cut off that is.
“Oh my god! Don’t tell me you guys have children - that’s so cute! I’m basically an auntie!” Came the joyful voice of Stephanie, Bruce’s face significantly paling whilst Dicks in contrast completely lit up at the news.
No, we don’t have children, (y/n) is not pregnant - it was just a figure of speech, now please can we go and eat?!” Jason exasperatedly groaned, putting an end to his family’s assumptions.

Soon you were all seated at the dinner table, a delicious looking meal prepared by Alfred set in front of you, casual conversation filled the air with members of the family shooting questions at both you and Jason every so often regarding your relationship.
“How has your fiancé, Master Jason been treating you Miss (y/n)?” The butler kindly inquired whilst pouring you a beverage.
“Eh, he’s actually amazing Alfred, you clearly rubbed off on him.” You replied, earning a smile from the elderly man as the table suddenly became silent.

“Wait - you told Alfred and not us?” Dick stammered, realising that Alfred wasn’t in the room previously where this matter was discussed so would of been oblivious to the situation plus he knew you by name before you’d even introduced yourself.
Duh.” Jason smugly answered, relishing in the families astonishment and displeasure.

Request from Anonymous: Hello i’ve seen that there’s only a few loco scenarios and recently i can’t get enough of his cuteness oh damn. So can i request a scenario where you and loco’s taste on things and flavors are so contrast that you always bicker with one another outdoors but at home both of you are so adorably dork

Lo. Co. Lo. Co. Lo. Co. Lemme see that body gaga ;) anyway i hope you enjoy this short scenario xx

“Can I please get one scoop of the cookies and cream and umm one scoop of the double choc chip. Oh and in a cup please.”

You gave the cashier the money and took your ice-cream. Loco and yourself were meeting up with Gray and Simon D for lunch but they haven’t turned up yet so you went and got ice-cream first.

“Ice-cream before lunch? You’re a funny one,” Loco teased you. You stuck your tongue out at him. “Let me eat in peace, babe. Want some?” You put a spoonful of the double choc chip in front of his mouth.

“Nah. I don’t like that flavour, it’s too sweet,” he said as he moved his head away from your offer.

“Hey love birds,” Simon called out. He and Gray had finally arrived. “Sorry, we’re late. Jay wouldn’t shut up about his dogs.”

“His dogs are adorable. Don’t blame him,” you beckoned back at Simon.

“What are you guys doing?” Gray asked as he sat down opposite you.

“Loco doesn’t like my taste in ice-cream. He thinks ice-cream is too sweet.”

“It is but I still eat ice-cream. Just not those favours you have in that cup,” Loco pointed to your ice-cream.

“Right. Because you like them weird flavours. Who likes mint choc chip? Seriously. It’s like eating toothpaste with chocolate. Ugh.”

Loco was about to make another comment when Simon stopped him.

“Ahh you two are so annoying when you talk about food. Why can’t you just accept that each of you have different taste buds. Now can we order lunch. I’m starving.”

“Mmm this caesar salad looks good. Guys wait! Let me take a photo of our lunch first,” You took out your phone and started taking different angles of the food. Gray also took out his phone and started to Snapchat.

“Are you done, [Y/N]? I’m want to eat my food,” Simon whined.

“Ok, I’m done. You now may eat, boys.”

You ordered a chicken burger with a side of fries and Loco ordered a beef burger and also a side of fries. You like to dip your fries in tomato sauce so you reached for the sauce and squirted it on the empty side of your plate. Loco saw what you did and he scoffed.

“What?” you asked him.

“Fries don’t need extra flavour, babe. And if you were to dip fries into a sauce it should be a spicy mayo.”

Both Gray and Simon looked at each other and sighed.

“I like it with tomato sauce so can you just shut up. Let me eat what I like.”

“It’s not right.”

“I wouldn’t be talking for someone who likes to eat steam vegetables with just salt sprinkle on top. Ugh.”

“Hey! You said they were nice when I made them the other night.”

“Well…. I didn’t want to hurt your feelings.”

Loco moved his plated further away from yours.

“Aw babe, I’m sorry. Here, have some of my drink. It’s a lemon iced tea.”

Loco turned to you in disgust.

“Iced tea with burgers. Ugh. Babe, you know my favourite drink is vanilla milkshake.”

“I think this is the last time we go out to lunch with the both of you,” Simon said. “Gray and I can’t even eat in peace.”

“Seriously, I wonder how the two of you act at home. I’d imagined you two constantly bickering about every little thing.” Gray said as he took a bite of his burger.

“Hey look babe. I have a beard and a monobrow,” you poked your head out of the bathroom and showed Loco your foam beard and monobrow that you made from your foam cleanser. “Do you still find me attractive?”

Loco let out a big smile. “More than ever.”

Loco was gathering the dirty dishes when he heard you call him from the bathroom.

“Babe!” you yelled out. “I need help…”

Loco immediately set down the dirty dishes and went to see you.

“What is it?”

He saw that your head was bent down in the sink.

“The cleanser went into my eyes and it is stinging my eyes. Can you get me my face towel? I can’t open my eyes.”

Loco laughed at you.

“It’s right next to you, babe,” he said as he took you hand and guided it to the towel. It was literally right next to the sink.

Once you dried your face you noticed your eyes were red. Loco was still standing there and he was smiling at you.

“You look like you took drugs.”

“Your love is my drug.”

“Oh god, that was so cheesy. Don’t make me throw up dinner.”

You raise your hand to smack Loco across the chest but his reflex was faster than yours. He stopped your smack and leaned in to give a kiss on the lips.

“Gray was dead wrong thinking we would bicker when we’re home,” you said.

“What do you want to do now? I don’t have any work to do.” Loco asked you as he finished washing the dishes.

“I’m about to watch this week’s ep of Game of Thrones. Come join me,” you replied from the living room.

“Nooo, I don’t want watch tv. Can we do something else?” he asked as he sat down next to you.

“Fine, I can watch this tomorrow night then. Wanna play some board games?”

“Hmm, let’s play Snap. It’s more fun.”

“Snap? I haven’t played that in a long time. Do you even have a deck of cards?”

Loco stood up and went to look in the drawers.

“I should…Ah, here it is!”

“Okay, best of three? The winner gets to slap the loser.”

First round: You won.

Second round: Loco won.

Final round: You won.

“Yes!! Now.. where should I slap you?”

“Not my hands. It’s all red now, thanks to you. If it is still red tomorrow morning, the boys are going to make fun of me. Especially Jay.”

You smiled at him and wondered where to slap him. His face? His arms? His butt?

But you thought you’d do something different. You didn’t slap him but you pinched his cheeks instead.

A hazard of the job

“Y/sh/n, get out of there it’s a trap!” Tim shouted through the comms. You and the family had gotten an alert that there were hostages at a warehouse near the docks. It had seemed simple at first. Get in, get the hostages safe, get out.

It was easier said than done.

Jason Todd Imagine

Pairing: Jason Todd x Reader

14. “Jason, you need to calm down okay!” + 29. “I just want to protect you!” + 23. “Are you scared of me?”

Requested by:

Warnings: Angst I hope.

“Hey, Jay, I’m going to meet with some friends,” you called already standing with your shoes on at the door.
He looked at you.
No nod, just tensed muscles.
“I’m back in three hours,” you blew him a kiss and left.

You had noticed his strange behaviour for a while now.
Jason was always at your place and every time you said you go out, even if it was just to the supermarket down the road he got stiff.
You didn’t mind him being around, heck, you loved this boy, plus you could guess why he was acting like this and how could you possibly blame him.

Joker broke out of Arkham Asylum. Again. And the moment Jason heard it… it was like a switch being pushed.

You hated to feel the way you did. This silent voice at the back of your head telling you to run as fast as you can.
Jason was not dangerous, well, he was, but not to you, you knew that.

Still, people did stupid things because of love, because of fear.

“Jay, I was not murdered, just robbed,” you said rolling your eyes.
It had to happen.
On your way back home this dude came up to you and held a gun at your face, asking for your money.
But who was there to ‘save’ you? Red Hood.

“The Wayne’s have just been robbed, too, (Y/N)!” He hissed, walking up and down in front of the tv. “You could be dead now if I wouldn’t have been around.”

“Around? You have been watching me the whole time and you realize, though, that you can not always watch me, right?”

“I can!” He snapped.

“I don’t want that! Jason, I’m not helpless!”

He didn’t say anything, leaving the room.
Jason was boiling inside.
His heart ached by the simple thought of you dying. He knew how it was to die.
He cringed thinking about the gun pointed at you.
Jason knew he had to protect you…  at all costs….

….A few hours later you woke up in a bed that wasn’t yours neither Jason’s. You didn’t even remember falling asleep.
Plus you were still wearing your street clothes.
You told yourself to stay calm.
Panic was not making anything better even though the voice at the back of your mind was screaming.
Your hands reached for the pockets of your jeans, searching for your phone, but what a surprise it was gone.
Your feet placed in front of each other as silently as possible as you walked to the window only to find out it was locked.
You took a deep breath, leaving the dark room and walking down a long hallway until you stood in the kitchen.
A bunch, like a lot of bags stood on the counter and ground and as you looked what was inside of them the voice screamed even louder.
It was all kinds of food you loved.
Your feet moved you out of the kitchen into the living room and as you saw a bunch of your clothes and the red helmet… you listened to the voice, running past the front door, but before you could check if it was locked, too, it was pushed open and Jason walked in.

Your chest was rising and falling rapidly as you looked at him, “what’s going on?”

He turned the lights on. “It’s saver here,” he said and took a step towards you and for his surprise you tumbled back, holding your arm out to keep him on distance.

“You,” your mind was racing now, your heart beating against your chest. “You will bring me home now, Jason.”

“No,” he tried to reach out for you, but you, as stupid as it may was, ran to the nearest window, checking if it was opened. “(Y/N)…”

“You kidnapped me, Jason!”

“It’s necessary. You’re only save with–”

“Are you insane?!”

“JOKER IS FUCKING OUT THERE, (Y/N)!! YOU DON’T KNOW THE THINGS I DO!” He yelled, making you flinch.

“You need to calm down, Jason… okay?” You tried to be calm hoping he’d be calm. “B-before we dated… I m-mean, I was– This is Gotham, Jason. Life g-goes on no matter if Joker is in or out of Arkham.
You cannot kidnap me,” you couldn’t make eye contact with him, thinking if you would he would jump at you like a predictor at his pray.

His heavy breathing was filling the room. “I JUST WANT TO PROTECT YOU!” Jason hissed at you, making you wish you would be able to sink into the wall behind you.

And that’s when he noticed. Your trembling bottom lip, your wide eyes, shaking knees and tensed muscles. He took a step back in shock. “Are… Are you scared of me?” His voice cracked.

“You are, you seem a little unpredictable right now,” you whispered, looking to the ground and nod.

There was silence laying over the room and you jumped at the dull noise that broke it.
Jason fell to his knees, hands pulling at his hair while tiny sobs in between of heavy breathing left his mouth.

You on the other hand stopped breathing completely for some second. You had never seen him like this before.
You knew he was haunted by nightmares and you knew he had demons to fight, you knew he felt a lot, but seeing it all spill out was another story.

You kneel down in front of him, wrapping your shaky arms around him carefully.

“I can’t help myself,” he sobbed. “His laugh… It’s everywhere, (Y/N).

“Shh,” you pulled him closer. Was there at all anything you could say? Anything that could soothe his pain?
He never showed you how bad it was. Never told you.
You could have predicted that something like this eventually would happen.
He buried his face into your shoulder. You felt his tears soak through your shirt.

I Don’t Blame You//A Jay Imagine

kianairwinhood said: Sorry to bother you but I wanted to know if you would do an imagine with Jay where he likes the reader buy finds out they’re Aladdin’s child but it doesn’t change his feelings for them. Again I’m sorry to bother you

Babe, none of y’all could ever bother me

Someone in the hall shoved past Jay. It was her again. He saw her all the time, but he wasn’t complaining. He thought she was beautiful. Yet he still didn’t know who your parents were.

“Hey buddy,” Carlos said, clapping a hand on his friend’s shoulder. “Staring at (Y/N) again?”

“Whaaaat? Pfft, no,” Jay said, taking a bite of his sandwich.

“Well, that’s good,” Carlos said. “Considering the fact that she’s Aladdin’s kid.”

Jay choked on his sandwich. “What?”

Carlos smirked. “Yup. So I guess it’s good that you don’t have a crush on her.”

Jay smacked his chest and coughed, his eyes watering. “Ahem. Yeah. Good…good thing.”

Dude ran by barking and Carlos took off after him, leaving Jay with a half-eaten sandwich and confusion fogging his mind.

He walked down the hall back to his room. (Y/N) was Aladdin’s kid? What was he gonna do? Because no matter how many times he reminded himself of that fact, every time he thought about her, butterflies erupted in his stomach.

That night, he tried to talk to Carlos about it.

“Man, what am I gonna do? She’s Aladdin’s kid, and after what my dad did to her’s, I don’t think she’s gonna want to talk to me, let alone go out with me.”

Carlos groaned. “Bro, if I hear the phrase “What am I gonna do about (Y/N)” one more time, I’m gonna smack you upside the head. Just talk to her. After Ben’s speech about how we aren’t our parents, I’m sure she won’t hold your dad’s actions against you.”

“I guess it can’t hurt.”

The next day, Jay and Carlos were walking from one class to the next when they saw (Y/N) in the hall. Carlos shoved his friend towards her and ran away.

“H-hey (Y/N),” he stuttered.

She smiled. “Hey Jay. D’you need something?”

“I was just wondering,” Jay swallowed and took a breath, trying to calm his nerves. “I was wondering if you wanted to go out some time? I mean, I totally understand if you don’t want to, considering the fact that my dad tried to ruin your dad’s life and enslaved your mom.”

She grinned. “I don’t blame you for what your dad did. I’d love to go out with you.”

Jay felt as though a huge weight had been lifted off of his chest. “Awesome.”

Tuesday, 14 June 2017

Your alarm went off at the usual time - 7am. You reach for your phone to stop the alarm then turn over to see if Jay was lying in bed with you. He wasn’t.

You closed to our eyes and put your hand on your forehead. Was Jay with her? Did he leave the office then went to visit her after? Or was he just stuck at work? Tears began forming in your eyes and you didn’t want to start the day in this mood. Not only that but you still felt sick. You still had a slight headache. You thought maybe you didn’t cook dinner properly last night but you brushed it off. Sick of staying in bed feeling like shit you got up and headed to the bathroom to take a shower.

As you walked to the bedroom, you saw Jay sleeping on the sofa. He was still wearing the same clothes as yesterday. You were glad he was here and you walked over to him. He always look so peaceful when he’s sleeping. He was snoring quietly so you took a blanket and put it on him. You bent down to his level, looked at him and stroke his hair. You thought to yourself: Why didn’t he come to bed last night?

Jay sat in silence for god knows how long. He couldn’t believe what he had just heard. She’s pregnant? How? Well he knew how a girl can fall pregnant but he was so careful. He used protection and she had told him that she was on the pill.

Her: “Erm I need you to say something, Jay.”

Jay: I-I-Are you sure?

Her: Jay, I’m definitely pregnant. I took the test yesterday and the results were positive.

Jay: And it’s mine?

Her: It?

Jay: I meant like am I the father of the baby?

Her: I’m sure that you’re the father since you were the last person I had sex with.

Jay began to walk around the room. He couldn’t process all his thoughts at once. How is he going to tell his family and friends? How can this be contained so that the paps can’t find about it? How is this going to affect his business and career? He was about to become a father to an unborn child. But the mother of that unborn child isn’t you.. Fuck. You. How will this affect the relationship? Will this be the end of his relationship with you?

Jay stopped walking around and went to the fridge to get a bottle of water and drank nearly all of it in one gulp. He then rested his arms on the kitchen bench.

Her: Jay…

Jay couldn’t contain his thoughts anymore. He threw the half empty bottle across the room. She was startled by it and stood up to come over to him.

Her: Jay.. what are we going to do? I’m really scared. I don’t know the first thing to being a mother.

Jay didn’t respond. He just started into space.

Her: I have a doctor’s appointment tomorrow and I would like for you to come with me. Please?

Jay finally broke his silence.

Jay: I don’t know… I’m not ready for this. How are we going to work this out? I have a business and a..relationship. How did you let it happen?! You said you were on the pill.

Her: Are you blaming me?! You do know that the pill isn’t 100% effective nor is using a condom. Don’t blame all of this on me. This is no one’s fault, it just happened and now we have to accept and deal with it!

Jay: I can’t-I need you to leave. Now.

Her: What the fuck, Jay. I came here wanting to talk to you and try to sort this out but nothing has been sorted. Jay.. I need your help. I can’t raise a baby on my own.

Jay: I. Need. You. To. Leave.

She didn’t need to be told once again so she took her bag from the chair.

Her: This isn’t over, Jay, we still need to work this out. I’ll be calling you tomorrow so you better answer. If not, I’ll be coming back here and I’ll let EVERYONE know about us, and that includes your girlfriend.

After changing into a new pair of sweatpants and your favourite hoodie you came out of the bedroom to find Jay awake. He was sitting up with the blanket wrapped around him and he was on his phone.

You: Good morning, sleepyhead.

Jay looked up to you and let out a small smile then put his phone down. You walked over to him and sat down. Jay then wrapped part of the blanket around you and kissed you on the head.

Jay: Mmmm I love the smell of your hair.

You: If you want the same smell, you should take a shower babe. I swear, your body odour is slowly creeping out.

Jay let out a small laugh.

You: Can I ask you something?

Jay half knew what you were going to ask and he wasn’t ready for an answer.

Jay: Ask me what?

You: What time did you come home last night?

Jay: Um just past midnight. I didn’t want to wake you up so I slept here instead.

You: I called you several times and you didn’t pick up nor return my calls and messages. Were you working or..?

Jay let out a sigh.

Jay: Yeah. There was an emergency meeting with the tour managers. And I’m sorry.

You: Must to be very important then but I thought you were um - anyway was everything sorted?

Jay shook his head.

You: Jay.. I know you’re busy with work but I need you to reply to my messages. I’m always calling you, leaving messages and voicemails and I never get a reply. I would then spend the day or night worrying about you. You know, just a simple message would be fine by me.

Jay: I’m sorry and I promise I will try to answer your calls and reply to you as soon as I can. Ok? Now breakfast?

Breakfast. You were usually always up for breakfast but today you felt different. You weren’t in the mood for breakfast.

You: I think I’m going to skip breakfast today. But I can make some for you, if you want.

Jay looked at you confused.

Jay: No breakfast? Are you feeling okay, babe?

Jay put his hand over your head. Your forehead was quite warm.

You: I don’t know. I still have a slight headache. I think it had something to do with dinner last night.

Jay: Stay here. I’m going to brush my teeth. After that, I’ll make you something drink.

You stayed put on the sofa and Jay got up. You turned on the tv and clicked through the channels. Whilst brushing his teeth, Jay received a message from her.

Are you meeting me at the doctor’s today? My appointment is at 11am.

Jay stared at the message and not knowing how to reply. Jay didn’t want to leave you alone today but if he doesn’t go to the appointment, she will probably come back to the office. He was typing and deleting his responses. Finally, he settled with a reply.

I’m busy with work. Maybe the next one.

He then blocked her number so that her messages or calls won’t go through.  After a while, Jay came back with some green tea and biscuits.

You: Thanks babe. I almost forgot! Our anniversary is tomorrow night. We haven’t actually planned anything.

Jay: I thought you said a home cooked dinner then just chill at home. I’m still down with that.

You: Yeah but… shouldn’t we something else more fun? Also, you’re leaving for the tour soon. I’m going to miss you.

Jay: Right the tour. You know, if I could go back in time I wouldn’t suggest it. I’m going to miss you so much. If only you could come with me. Maybe you’ll come to the next one?

You: Of course!

You took a sip of your tea and held onto the cup to allow your hands to warm up. You snuggled further into Jay and he held you tighter.

Jay: How are you feeling now? Better?

You: Yeah much better! I wish we could stay like this forever.

Jay: Me too, babe. Me too.

Wednesday, 15 June 2017

Gray: Hey man. Everything okay?

Jay was sitting in Gray’s recording studio. He hasn’t spoken to Gray about what about the other night and he wasn’t sure if he wanted Gray to know.

Jay: I’m fine.

Gray then stood up and went to close the door.

Gray: Tell me what happened between you and her. [Y/N] took you back but you still look like shit so tell me.

Jay sighed and buried his head in his hands.

Jay: Fine. But let me finish talking before you start lecturing me.

Gray nodded and sat back down on his chair facing Jay.

Jay: The reason she was here was um she came here because she needed to talk to me…about something. Fuck, okay… She was here to tell me she’s pregnant.

Gray: Are you serious? Oh my god, Jay! Shit…And you’re the dad?

Jay: Yes! If I wasn’t, I wouldn’t be feeling like shit.

Gray: You haven’t told [Y/N], have you?

Jay shook his head.

Jay: I haven’t told anyone about this so can we keep it that way? Please?

Gray: Yeah man, I won’t tell anyone. But what about [Y/N]? She deserves to know. You can’t keep this a secret from her.

Jay: I know, I know. But Gray if I tell her, I’m going to lose her and I don’t want that. She is everything to me.

Gray: She does bring out the best of you.. but Jay, [Y/N] going to find out sooner or later. And she’ll probably be more mad at you for lying to her than you telling her the truth now.

Jay: I don’t want to talk about this anymore. [Y/N] is waiting for me. It’s our anniversary dinner tonight.

An Incongruous of Jaysome

I walk down the street slowly, ignoring every tourist trap I pass. The city is lit up about me: people hurrying, laughing, the police a gentle watching presence protecting tourists from harm. The wards that hold the city together are older and deeper than anything I’ve ever tried:  at least four magicians have turned their own life energy into wards for this place. I don’t blame them.

Even here, I can’t sense Jay at all. He might be from far Outside the universe, but he is eleven still. All he has to do is offer up a huge, jaysome grin and people remember him even if he can hide his nature entirely. I ask, but no one has seen him. Sometimes I forget how good he is at that: we are bound together, from when he first entered the universe, and for the first time in ever I don’t sense those bindings at all. A part of me is missing that I didn’t even know what lost.

I find myself ashamed at how big that part was, how little I really sensed it. I give Jay space and privacy because I could use the bindings between us in terrible ways. I could draw on his power to do things even Jay has no idea he can do. Most of the time. So I keep a distance, and likely hurt him because Jay doesn’t see bindings like anyone else does. I pull out my phone, check it.

Jay hasn’t posted anything online in over 24 hours. Which is shocking given how often he posts to his tumblr, or sends messages to friends on it. Charlie had him see the Star Wars movies with her. I’ve seen them, though not near as often as Charlie has. She wanted Jay to have some more movies to watch instead of the various Jurassic ones over and over. Which I have no problem with, though I do suspect this entire issue is the universe punishing Charlie for starting Jay with the prequels instead of the original trilogy.

The fact that she agreed, seriously, when I brought that up is worrying.

I walk over one bridge, another. It’s almost half an hour before I find him sitting with his legs dangling over stone and staring at a bridge.

I walk over and just sit down beside him. He says nothing, focused on some inner space.

“The Bridge of Sighs, because you’ve been sighing a lot?” I say gently.

Jay’s head snaps toward me, eyes wide. “You found me?” he demands.

“Charlie helped, but yes. Venice is the only place we had a real vacation, so I figured you might be here. Also because of the lack of sand.”

“Oh,” he says, very softly.

“Talk to me, kiddo. Please.”

“Anakin was nice, Honcho. He was a friend to people, and then he fell in love but not and it got all weirdy and he went evil and did horrible bindings.”

I wait for Jay to add his ‘you know’. He doesn’t. “It’s just fiction, Jay. It’s not real.”

“Fiction is just a different kind of real. And sometimes it’s more real than real things cuz you can – you can say truths with fiction you can’t otherwise,” he says firmly.

He’s at least looking at me now. “But jaysome isn’t fiction.”

He sniffs. “Sometimes it feels like that. Like being too jaysome goes to the dark side! Anakin cared too much and that destroyed him!”

I reach for the bindings between us, still finding nothing. “Oh, Jay.” He goes still. “It’s an important lesson to know when to let go. This is as true for magicians as for Jay’s and everyone else. Sometimes it’s all you can do, no matter how good you are at bindings. But I think, even knowing that, that it’s better to care too much than not enough.”

“But but but I’m not jaysome when I get older and and and –.”

“Jay. Sith and jedi are invented terms. For a movie, to make money: they were short-hand terms, simplistic ideas never intended to bear the weight people put on them. Both jedi and sith are attempts to build houses on foundations that don’t exist at all. Which is one reason they are definitely very confusling I imagine.”

Jay giggles at that.

“Jedi are meant to be in harmony, perhaps, but you can’t do that and be in the world. The sith aren’t in harmony at all, as I understand it, even if they are. I don’t know Star Wars like Charlie does, or even you do, but I figure both jedi and sith are flawed expressions of a far more jaysome state.”

“Wait, wait, wait. If the sith aren’t in harmony, does that mean they’re incongruous?” Jay demands.

“I – okay, yes?”

“Then we also did a prompting, Honcho!”

I stare at Jay. “This was about a prompt?”

Jay’s eyes widen at my tone and he shakes his head quickly. “No, but I managed to do it? Like how the jedi do sith things and the sith do jedi things and –.” He pauses. “The sith use the force, but the jedi let the force use them? So so the fae are sith and magicians are jedi and a Jay is –.”

“Beyond both of those. It’s not just about being passive or active: it’s the intent more than outcomes, especially for a Jay who does many oopses and accidents and is very incongruous without ever trying.”

“I am?!”

“The hotel room was destroyed by you.” He wilts visibly. I move closes, wrap one arm about him and hug him lightly. “Everyone makes mistakes, Jay. What separates people is how they learn from that, if they do at all. Knowing you did something wrong is the first step to making it right.”

“But I haven’t done the wrong thing yet,” he whispers.

“You haven’t? How do you think Charlie is feeling right now?”

Jay stares at me in a shocked silence.

“Just because you might do some very not-jaysome things in the future doesn’t mean you don’t also do some now. It’s a difference of degree rather than kind, Jay. You can be incongruous without being incongruous because nothing emerges from a vacuum.”

“Oh. I gotta go back and say lots of apologies to Charlie!”

“And be very congruous with certain bindings?”

Jay grins, and the bindings between us exist again between moments. He lets out a huge, contented sigh and relaxes against me. “That was really hard, but I was all kinds of scared and afraid, Honcho.”

“I know. And that’s important. Bravery isn’t about not being afraid, Jay. Bravery is about being afraid and doing what is right anyway. Everyone has to take steps into the darkness sometimes, and then find it in themselves to take steps back out. Otherwise the fear of their own darkness becomes so great that they could fall into it without ever knowing they did so.”

“Oh!” And he grins hugely at that. “I never thought of it like that,” and he vanishes a moment later in a blur of energies.

I let out a sigh and stare at the bridge. I wait a minute, and then a second minute and Jay sits down beside me before the third minute elapses.

This Jay is fifteen. He doesn’t look at me, staring out at the bridge. “Venice survives far into the future because of this day, magician.”

“I was pulling a Lucas and making all that up as I went along. I have no idea if I made things worse or better.”

“Neither do I. You have some small idea of what happens to Jay; it is imperative that he – I – never knows.” He stands, swifter than Jay does, the movements eerily like my own. “And do not expect me here again, or any Jay from –.” He hesitates. “You have no concept of how much it hurts to be here. Do not expect this again.”

He is gone a moment later, faster than the Jay I know, using some method Jay has yet to discover.

I stare out at the bridge.

And I try, as hard as I can, not to think at all.

You know...

Now that I think about it, I guess I can’t really blame vendetta for how he feels about vangel. I mean sure, he crossed a bit of a line when he nearly hit him AND hit his father in front of him, but like think about it. Put yourself in vendettas shoes for a sec.

Vendetta had a twin named Vasati. Vasati gets killed by the OB mafia. Somewhere along the line after this, vendetta starts working for miss Mahogany. During his time away, Jay and Scarlet have another child named Vangel. Fast forward nearly a decade and Jay and Scarlet still havent told Vendetta that he has a younger brother.
Vendetta comes back, finds out and is understandably pissed.
I mean, I know Jay didnt mean to say it, but he does say “ Maybe we wanted a son who didnt act so much like a robot!” or somethimg similair or along the lines of that.
So 1, new brother thats like 8 or 9 years old, you never knew,2, father basically says that you weren’t good enough and 3….

Jay Had another child even after what happened to Vasati. What if that were to happen to vangel?
Vendetta is trained to fight not because he wants to but because he HAS to. In case the OB mafia comes back looking for the child that got away. What if they come back looking for him and find vangel?
So I think Vendetta is not only angry but worried and exasperated. Worried that this kid might get taken out like his sister did and exasperated that the parents would bring another child into the world despite that they might be targetted.
So yeah, I can understand where vendetta is coming from a bit.

Only three days left until deadline and I’m still stuck on this page. This is my first time having a hard time to write scenario. I love romance, comedy or fantasy the most but as a movie’s writer I need to prove my talent and decide to challenge myself to write other genre and now I’m stuck with this melodrama story. Write a melodrama story really drain up all my positive energy. My entire mind clouded by sadness thought and it’s still not enough to finish this story.

“Having a hard time babe?” someone sit across my seat while I’m staring into my laptop without type anything.

“You know I’m really sucked with melodrama.” I’m messing my already mess hair for nth times.

“It’s because you’re too happy with me.” He said while sending a wink and snatches my coffee.

“Lee Sunghwa!” I’m not in the mood to joke around and he seems understand that this is really serious.

“Okay, don’t glare like you want to eat me alive. That’s not pretty you know?” He pats my head to calm me down. He really has a power to control me. Some of my friends already point out that I’m too obedient to him. I never think it was a bad thing to listen what he was saying, it was true after all. When I wear a short tight dress to my friend birthday party he’ll call me out to come back and change my dress because he said I’ll catch flu if wearing that. When I hang out with some of my friend which is mostly boys, he’ll forbid me to apply any makeup because he said that my bare face is the prettiest. And when Dean wants to pick me up for our club reunion he’ll insist to take me there because he said it’s too burdensome for Dean. I always do what he said and it frustrated my friends the most.

@mountainvagabond (since it won’t let me tag your gop-tea-hub account)

Let’s check this piece by piece, shall we?

“She wants her fans to die.” Let’s see that source… first of all, that article is from 2014, 3 fuckin’ years ago, and two, it’s from an “anonymous insider.” So…

“She loves the Muslims who kill people.” Yeah no, except she’s been legitimately upset about this, has cancelled her tour out of fear it might happen again, and is even considering ending her career as a whole. If she loved these people, she wouldn’t be this traumatized by their actions.

“America, the country she hates.” Yeah, she did say she hated America once. And guess what else? She apologized for that statement, and clarified it was a poor choice of words. She said she’s extremely proud to be an American, and that the video, where she licked a doughnut and then said she hated America, was supposed to be her way of criticizing obesity rates in America.

So not only are you bringing up something she said almost two years ago, you’re also bringing up something she’s already apologized for and you’re trying to paint it as her being one of those “America is a horrible racist country” kinds of people when it was meant to be about obesity being bad and America having HORRIBLE obesity rates.

“If she really cared, she would not have run away, jumped in a private jet and left. If she cared, she would’ve stayed there to help.” Yeah, except she didn’t “run away.” She was taken away by her bodyguards, because making sure she’s safe is kinda their fuckin’ jobs, who reported she was having panic attacks and that they had an extremely hard removing her because of that. I imagine you can’t do much helping while having panic attacks, nonetheless trying to help while getting taken away by bodyguards. And even if she did? Yeah, running the fuck away from a terrorist attack is a reasonable reaction. I know I would. That doesn’t mean I wouldn’t care about anyone who didn’t escape.

And again, she’s taken preventative measures afterwards. She cancelled the tour, and is even considering ending her own career, all so she can avoid this happening again. She is heartbroken, she is having panic attacks, she is traumatized, blaming herself. She is not rejoicing in this in the slightest. If anything, she probably blames herself because she couldn’t help. Also, a relative of hers was helping people escape even when she couldn’t.

She fucking cares enough that she’s traumatized, loathing and blaming herself, and taking huge measures to keep it from happening again. Tell me again how she “doesn’t care.”

“Don’t give me that pathetic bleeding heart crap.” Basic human empathy makes you a liberal now, I guess. Yeah, I don’t like tragedies being used to push agendas, who fuckin’ knew? There’s a lot of people I don’t like, but if something truly awful happens, I still recognize it as awful instead of saying they deserved it because I don’t like them.

@lethal-cuddles @jay-sherman Look at this asswipe.

Jason Todd x Reader - Confessing

Jason confesses his love for the reader.

Why can’t he just tell you?
Why can’t he just walk up to you despite how perfect you look sitting on a rusty old cafeteria table with a book in your hands, hair flowing down your back that reminded him of glittering waters, and eyes that looked so focused yet full of hope he yearned for, and tell you just that?

He had enough of keeping it to himself for far too long. Nobody knew, and it hit him like a bullet through his chest when a hotter guy comes near you and he can’t do anything about it. Of course, you know better and gently turned them down. He’d smile because of that, but he’ll never let you know.

Until now.

He didn’t care if you didn’t feel the same. He didn’t care if he’ll be rejected and turned down after all those years of friendship, when you’ve been the only one who’s ever shown him any kindness no one thinks he deserved.

So, with a churning stomach and tightening throat, he found himself almost three feet away from you before you raised your head and smiled at him.

“Hi, Jay”

This was gonna be the death of him. You’re eyes were sparkling more than usual, and it always sent him weak to his knees whenever that happend.

He cleared his throbbing throat, “Hey.”
He took a seat beside you.

“So,” you started, “what’s up-”

“I gotta tell you something…”

Your eyes lit up, almost in shock since he never usually spoke in that tone.

“Sure. What is it?”

He didn’t want to waste any more time. This was it. This was now.

Fuck. He wished it wasn’t so hard.

He took too long to respond, still staring at the ground blankly while you looked around you out of confusion.

“What’s wrong?”

“I-” he sounded, “Promise me you won’t freak out and abandon me. But…” his voice was enough to break you in half “I won’t blame you if you do.”

You shook your head and gently took his hand. It was warm, and somehow, the touch of your palms made him want to feel more of your silky, perfectly soft skin.

“Jay, I’d never do that.” You tried catching his eyes but he won’t let you, “now tell me what’s wrong. You’re scaring me.”

He took a long deep breath.

His hands were shaking. His heart was beating out of his chest. His state wasn’t ideal for what he was doing but once he looked up and caught your eyes, it seemed like it was the one thing he should have done a long time ago.

To your surprise, his fingers came up to brush a strand of your hair across your cheek.

And that made you freeze this time.

“I love you.”

Your heart stopped.

Your jaw slightly dropped open and your eyes shot up just as he looked down.

“Not just as a friend. Though at this point, you’ve been my only friend. And I guess this was a huge gamble since losing you would mean eternal lonliness but I don’t care. That’s how I feel. And I wanted you to know that.”

You still couldn’t formulate any form of word in your head.

“I love you. I always have. And it’s okay if you don’t feel the same. I just-”

Then his whole world stopped spinning, the gears in his mind stopped working, everyone else around you stopped existing, when you grabbed his collar and pressed his lips hard against yours.

Now he was in a daze, and it took you long before you pulled away, smiled, and said, “I love you, too”

When Jay saw Gray’s message, he immediately called him. “What do you mean SHE’S there?!” Jay spat at Gray. “Was my message not clear? Your side piece is here in the office! She won’t leave until she sees you, man. When are you getting here?” Gray asked.

You: Hey, are you going back to the office? If you are, I think I’m going to go home and rest instead.

Jay couldn’t think properly. Why did she come to the office? What did she want? Jay had ended things with her during the nights when you were staying at Jasmine’s.

You: Jay…? Are you giving me the silent treatment because I beat you in putt putt golf?

Jay: Ohh sorry babe. I was just thinking about things - work things. What did you say?

You: I asked if you’re going back to the office?

Jay: Umm yeah. But you don’t need to come with me.

You thought it was strange that Jay had asked you not to come with him. He usually begs you to come the office with him, but you brushed it off thinking it’s nothing.

You: Ok, I’ll go home then.

The taxi dropped you off at the apartment first and Jay leaned in for a kiss but you turned away. You weren’t really sure why you did that. You gave him a second chance so you two were back together, but is everything back to normal so quickly?

You: So um I’ll see you later on? I’ll prepare dinner. Do you want anything in particular?

Jay: I’ll eat whatever you cook and I don’t think I’ll be long at the office anyway. Just gotta work out one thing.

When you got into your apartment, you immediately went to take a long bath and a long nap. Putt putt golf took nearly all of your energy. You were then awoken by the ringtone of your phone. It was Jasmine.

Jasmine: Hey you. How did everything go?

You: Yeah, we talked and um things are back to normal…I think.

Jasmine: Are you serious?

You: He deserves it, Jas. The man literally look like a zombie when I saw him this morning. And he was honest when I asked him about her.

Jasmine: If you say so then Jay is a very very lucky man. I can’t believe you forgave him but as long as you’re happy, I’m happy. Did you know who she was?

You: No, I don’t know her. He said they used to work together and met up with each in the last couple of months.

Jasmine: Ah mixing business with pleasure. What are you doing now? And if you say make up sex, I’ll hang up.

You: How can I do those two things at the same time?? I just woke up from a nap and probably heading out to the supermarket to do some grocery shopping.

Jasmine: So I guess no more being roomies?

You: If you’re having a sleepover soon then count me in!

You got ready and it felt so nice wearing your own clothes again. You slipped into a pair of sweatpants, basic t-shirt and sneakers. You weren’t really sure what you wanted to have for dinner so you wandered endlessly in the supermarket.

Grocery shopping took you about 3 hours and you were tired. You settled into making a beef stew tonight. It was the perfect meal for today’s gloomy weather. You got back to the apartment and quickly started to prepare and cook dinner. It was nearly 5pm so you hoped dinner would be ready by time Jay got back.

Jay got the office and there she stood with her back towards him. Jay never thought he would ever see again. A second look around and only Gray was in the room. Or at least that’s what Jay hoped for. He didn’t need more people to know about this. Both heads turned towards him when he walked in.

“Nice to see that you’re finally here, douche-bag,” she spat at him. “Why haven’t you been answering or replying to my texts? Jay stood directly opposite to her and said, “I told you, we are done. Why the fuck are you still annoying me? She opened her mouth but Gray intervened, “Hey Jay, can I talk to you in my recording studio first?” Jay nodded.

Gray: Where’s [Y/N]?

Jay: She’s at home. How can you let her in here? She doesn’t belong here.

Gray: Me? Are you blaming me for her being here? Seriously?

Jay sat down on the sofa. His head in his hands. All he wanted was for her to leave and to never see her again. Why can’t she just move on? Find another man to screw with?

Gray: Look man, I’m not comfortable being here so I’m going home. I’m sorry but if you need anything please call me. You better work out whatever it is with her tonight. Don’t leave things hanging, otherwise [Y/N] won’t be giving you another chance. You’re very lucky Jay to have [Y/N] by your side. Not all girlfriends take back their cheating boyfriends.

Jay: I know Gray, I know.

When Gray was gone, Jay walked out of the room to confront her. She was sitting of the sofa and on the phone. Probably going through her selfies.

Jay: Why the fuck are you here?

Her: I need to tell you something duh. I wouldn’t be bothering you if it wasn’t something important.

Jay: Tell me what?

Her: Okay, so when I tell you please don’t do anything rash. Ok?

Jay: Just tell me.

Her: I’m pregnant, Jay.

It was nearly 7pm and Jay isn’t home. Dinner was done in time. You were proud of yourself. Being able to make a stew within 2 hours is an accomplishment for you. You called Jay but it went straight to voicemail. You messaged him but he probably won’t reply since he doesn’t even answer his phone. Now you were feeling all sorts of mixed emotions.

Is he just caught up with work? Or is he with her? But how could he, you thought. You just gave him a second chance today and within a few hours, he goes back to his own way? Is he that selfish?

You tried not to think too much about it because the more you thought, you felt sick. Your head was starting to hurt. You called Jay once more but to no avail. Now your head was really hurting so you went to bed, hoping Jay would be next to you in the morning.

“Jay, it was at the time where I didn’t think I could trust you. I thought maybe you would stop chasing me if it wasn’t yours.” Tears kept running down my cheeks. Jay and I had made progress but what all of that was ruined by this? Would he hurt me again?

“That’s not what I asked, (Y/N).” I hugged my own body to try and comfort myself, but all I wanted was for Jay to understand and comfort me. “Answer me!” He screamed causing me to jump. He must hate me now. I couldn’t let him know I was afraid so I screamed back. I had a baby to protect and I’d be damned if he acted like this the first day Alex was born.

“Yes, he’s yours! He’s yours okay! He was always yours. I never thought about sleeping with anyone else.” Whimpers came out of my mouth as tears streamed faster down my cheeks.

“Why wouldn’t you tell me? Did you think I’d be angry? Or were you just planning on leaving and then maybe I’d never find you again? Were you going to leave?” I cried harder, squeezing my eyes shut. Jay had stood up and begun pacing around the room. The baby, thankfully, was still calm in Jonny’s arms.

“Jay, I already told you why. I thought you would leave me alone. If it wasn’t yours, why would you want it? Why would you want to take care of us? I thought it’d be better to not be with you or for him not to have you. I thought all you had to offer was pain because that was all you showed me or anyone for that matter. Was I supposed to believe I was special? All we did was fuck, Jay. But that was all before you changed. I’m sorry, Jay. After that, I forgot that I never told you the truth until now. I stopped telling you that Alex wasn’t yours after the car ride and it never came up again.”

“You just forgot to tell me he was actually mine?” Being pissed meant he couldn’t think straight. He was asking stupid questions at this point.

“Fuck, Jay. I get it. You hate me because I lied. Because I lied about one thing. Now you think you can never trust me again because you fucking hate liars. You need to understand I did because before all of this, before living with you, before you changed, I thought that was the best way to help my child. I had money so I could take care of him on my own. I thought being with you would just put him in danger. I didn’t want your business partners to harm him because your business is the most important thing to you.”

He sat back on the bed. He didn’t look at me. I could tell by his face that he was thinking about what I said. “You think I wouldn’t protect you or him enough? You think I’d put you in danger? My business isn’t what is most important to me when I have you and Alex. You should know that by now.”

I shook my head. “No, Jay. I thought. I thought you wouldn’t be enough. I thought you’d hurt me if you found out. I thought there would be more bad than good. I couldn’t risk that since I am his mother. He has always been dependent on me since day one. I know you care about us and that we’re really important to you. I should have said was.”

“You think I would hurt you?” He looked at me this time. He was looking into my eyes to see if I was telling the truth.

“I was afraid you would. Then when Jonny got shot, I was afraid of what you’d do. So I told him that I had a one night stand. Then you hurt me and you proved that you would.” I looked at Jonny and he just nodded. I couldn’t hurt Jay’s and Jonny’s trust. It meant to much to me and wouldn’t harm much.

“I didn’t mean to hurt you.” I reached over to him and held his hand.

“We’re passed that. I know we are. He’s ours, Jay. There was never anyone else just to let you know.” I leaned my head on his arm. “I’m sorry I lied.”

“You don’t have to be. You were just being his mom and you were afraid. Are you still?” He looked towards me.

“No, not anymore.” After shaking my head, I gave him a smile. “I’m happy with you, Jay. I have you and that beautiful baby boy. I get to see Jonny more. What more can I ask for?”

We laid down. My head was on his chest, while his arm circled around my back. “He was always mine.”

I looked at him curiously. “He is” My fingers intertwined with his hands as the room got quiet. I decided to ask Jay a question that needed an answer but could also make him push me out again. I believed in Jay and everything we had worked on together over these months so I asked anyways. “Why would you want him if he wasn’t yours? Just curious.”

Jay was quiet for a minute. He was debating on telling me. He opened his mouth as if he was going to speak but then closed it again. “That’s alright. You don’t have to answer.” I kissed his chest.

“Harley and I tried to have a kid once. We couldn’t. I blamed myself. I was and still am the reason she’ll never be normal. Then I met you for the first time, you were the one I wanted anything and everything with. I couldn’t do anything until I got so bad with Harley and she left. Otherwise, she’d probably kill ya and I couldn’t have that. I hurt her but never blamed her. It was me.” He looked down at me and saw I teared up. “Don’t you go crying again.”

I smiled at him. “I won’t. Continue, please.”

“When we slept together, I didn’t want you closer because I didn’t want to hurt you like I did with Harls. I never wanted to ruin you like I did her. When you left, it tore me up inside. Worst than I was. I thought it was my fault. I tore up the city looking for you. Killed a lot of my men when they came back and told me they couldn’t find you. Then you came back and were pregnant. I was hoping it was mine, and when I was told it wasn’t it didn’t matter. It was yours. I didn’t want you leaving again so even if the baby wasn’t mine I’d raise it as such. I didn’t want to admit I cared for you, so I hurt ya and you left. It wasn’t okay. You made things better when you were with me. So I had to find you. When I did, I went straight to you. No one can take you away from me.” He squeezed his hand that was on my hip but not enough to cause pain. “You’re mine. That’s never changing.”

I sat up a bit and gently placed my lips on his. “I don’t want it to. I love you, Jay.”

He kissed my forehead and sat up better. He looked towards Jonny, while Jonny was looking at Alex. “Give me my boy.” I rolled my eyes. That was him asking nicely. Jonny gently placed Alex in Jay’s arms. Seeing Jay hold him for the first time was beautiful, honestly. Jay smiled, and although it was strange, I’d never seen Jay so invested in someone. I cried a little at the sight and Jay just laughed. “Why you crying?”

I shook my head. “I just love you both.” I kissed Alex’s head and laid back seeing Jay and Alex together. Alex had smiled a couple times and stuck out his tongue while Jay made weird faces at him. I fell asleep seeing the best thing I could - my family.

Each and every day, Alex looked more like Jay. It bothered me. He had Jay’s hair, natural of course despite Jay constantly berating me to let him dye Alex’s hair when he got older. “Why don’t you look anything like me? I carry you for nine months and this is how you repay me?” Alex just made an almost laughing noise which made me smile. I held out my arms to him and he crawled towards me. “I love you still.” I kissed his head. He eventually pulled out of my arms and crawled to his toys.

Alex was nine months now. He was starting to try to talk more and stood up once in awhile to try to walk. Though, he’d just go back to crawling before taking a step. Jay would spend at least a couple hours with us each day then go deal with business. He tried to be with us as often as he could but he also took care of business. Jonny was always with me since Jay still didn’t trust anyone else to protect us. It was nice. Jonny always brought something to give to Alex every day which eventually stacked up into a massive amount of toys which Alex played with once or twice and neglected them afterward. Jay was dealing with some business with Jonny downstairs which left me to take care of the baby. I loved every second of it, though.

Alex stood up and I reached out my arms to him. “Come to mama. You can do it.” He took one step and I gasped. That was his first step. He slowly took more which made me smile. “Come on, baby. Mama is right here.” Once he reached me I scooped him up in arms and laughed loudly. My baby took his first steps. I looked at Alex and kissed him repeatedly which made him giggle.

“Dada.” Alex started trying to talk.

“Mama.” I said back to try to encourage him to speak.

“No, mama.”

“Dada.” I sighed but kissed his forehead.

“That’s alright. You’re still mama’s baby boy.” Jay came in looking at us.

“What’s going on?” I looked up at Jay with the biggest smile on my face.

“He took his first steps and tried calling for you. Watch.” I turned Alex towards his dad and pointed at Jay. “Dada.”

Alex tried to jump and smiled at Jay. “Dada”

“Hahaha, that’s my boy.” Jay came and picked Alex up. “I missed his first steps?”

Standing up, I placed a kiss on his cheek. “We got cameras, remember? We can always rewatch it.” Cameras were a safety precaution he added around the same time the room was finished. Jay wanted to have everything on camera so if he saw anything suspicious he could come straight over or send someone.

Jay looked at me. “Let’s go check it out.” As we went down to Jay’s office, Jonny was on his way towards us.

“Jonny! Alex spoke and took his first steps.” Jonny looked at Alex, and back towards me.

“I missed it?” I just chuckled while looking at Jonny’s face which if he did show emotions would be considered sad. It changed back to neutral expression quickly after.

“We were gonna go rewatch it since we have cameras. Come on.” We rewatched the video and Alex just tried to laugh which always made my heart melt. It was the cutest noise I have ever heard. Jay sniffed the air and I knew what that meant.

“What’s that smell?” Jay asked innocently which just made me laugh.

“Your son’s diaper. Not it!” Jonny looked at me.

“Not it!”

Jay was the last one to not say it and he just sighed. I laughed at his face expression. “(Y/N), change him.”

“Nah, it’s your turn. I’m gonna go see what’s for dinner.” As I walked out of the room, I heard Jay mumble something which you could definitely tell he was annoyed. I laughed even harder.

“Love ya too, Jay.”

Honestly I think more than anything, I am disappointed it didn't come from Sophia. I get that it could have been leaked, but there's been speculation for WEEKS and I'm sure she was aware of it. I wholeheartedly do not blame her for wanting to leave and still think she's awesome but I just think it could have been handled better. I also don't think it was a recent decision and so I'm angry they had Jay consider proposing because it's never gonna happen and that's even more cruel to the fans.

It was handled THE WORST. I think the worst way of letting the fans know somebody is leaving is by not announcing it and media gets on track and releases it. It’s messy. It’s unnecessary. I’m sorry to say, fans deserve better. They deserve somebody to step up, and fucking say she’s leaving. If she doesn’t want to/doesn’t care, then at least the showrunner or the network should.

That was so CHEAP?? Why would you even show us a glimpse of that future only to tear it all down?? CRUEL. UNNECESSARY. CHEAP.
