i started to like her

Ok, wait, people hate on TINA? I don't understand. WHY? She wasn't written horribly (at least, I personally don't think she was), and she's interesting as far as her job, her attitude, her relationship with her sister, etc. What is there to hate?

I can understand that some can dislike her (like me at the beginning, I really couldn’t like her much, I don’t know… she was kinda irritating at the beginning of the movie), but seriously… to HATE her like… HATE with all this passion that some people have? It’s so stupid… at least for me… and for some…
I agree that she wasn’t written horrible! To be honest she is written very well, if I may say that (since I really don’t know how to write, like at all ahaha). I think the moment when she said she love Swooping Evil, was the moment when I started liking her? She opened a bit and she started acting more naturally around Newt, and THE MOMENT WHEN SHE WAS DUELING GRINDELWALD?! FFFF ThIS IS LIKE MY MOST FAVORITE MOMENT OF HER.
And her bond with Queenie, oh maaan…. I just love them together. I love seeing sibling relationships like that. It’s a bit similar to this I have with my own younger sister, she is prettier and have some skills that I’m jealous of, she is way more popular than me also… on the other side is me, this career girl (like yeah… working working working, I f***ed up my relationship a bit lately because of it, and I’m very tired, and I’m in similar age). We had to take care of ourselves too, because our mother “left” us, my dad is living in other town with his new family, my younger brother has problematic life too, and two year old son… So just seeing those two sisters who love each other, and care for each other is just nice. Fills my heart with warm and fuzzy feelings. There is really no place for hate.
It’s so amazing that… those characters are constructed like that… With Queenie I fell in love in the moment I saw her, but with Tina… you need to know her a bit more to see her other, more gently, and fun side.

I just don’t understand the hate, when I just see those amazingly horrible comments about her. Or those crazy comments like “I HATE HER BECAUSE NEWT IS MINE” - it’s kinda disturbing how many comments like that I’ve seen so far, and the movie is not even half a year old, like… go see a specialist or something, because that’s… really crazy.

hopefully this doesn't start a fire, but I wanted to know how you imagine Inej? Like, I'm Indian (ok actually Bangladeshi but that's not important here) so the moment I started reading I read her as brown-like-me, but I've definitely seen plenty of Latinx and black fancasts for her as well and I was wondering if you had any thoughts on the subject? I'm curious to know how others read her really so yeah

man oh man this is a good question because when i started reading soc i, too, started envisioning her brown like me. but the more i went on, the more i realized the implications of suli being inspired by indian culture, so then i thought okay well we’re both brown, but we’re not the same race. and i discovered leigh herself mentioned neelam gill being very close to how she pictured inej. to me that counts as confirmation she’s indian. and since poc aren’t interchangeable…… idk for a while now i’ve been wondering if it’s appropriate to use different poc as a fancast?

sometimes i reblog imaan hammam as a fancast for her and i still don’t know if it’s offensive since she’s not indian??? people seem to use whoever’s brown to represent inej and while it’s positive representation for brown girls everywhere, is it erasing who inej is??? idk this is something i’m genuinely stumped by.

i had a discussion on this blog before where people told me how much they identified with inej and how little representation indian people get and i personally don’t want to take away from that.

Pyrrha being really bad at throwing non-metal things. Like she turn around and throw a wrench into a basket on a moving target. She can flip a ring with two fingers while blindfolded onto the bottle tops to win the grand prize at the fair. She throw a dart under one arm and make a perfectly good bullseye six times in a row. Team JNPR has a vine account dedicated for this reason only.
But she cannot coordinate non-metal things. It’s like a bad infomercial. She’ll toss the pancake mix to Ren and it’ll explode all over him. She’ll pass Nora her scroll charger and it’ll land five feet away from her. She’ll toss Jaune a snack after training and it’ll land on the roof. Team JNPR has dedicated a vine account for this reason only also.

This took forever  (ʘ‿ʘ✿)

But it was worth it! She’s finished and ready to shine in the spotlight!

Hope you like it.

In this silly swap au, Taako would take Ren’s place (since she took his).

After the events of Glamorsprings, Taako was disgraced and attempted to hide himself from the world. He settled in Refuge and when the bubble went up, he was more than relieved to finally be free of consequence. He started up a little bar, only serving drinks and, still incredibly traumatized by what happened, he vowed off magic.

To him, it’s only been months since Glamorsprings, when it’s actually been 6 years.

Ren adores Taako; he’s the sole reason that she finally left the Underdark to live her own life. She considers him her greatest inspiration. You can imagine her shock when she sees him running a bar in a bubbled city.

Legend says that Night and Day were once great rulers of men, a king and queen whose love for each other and majesty could not be compared, and who sacrificed themselves to save the Earth from a great threat, forever to guard the world in the form of the Sun and Moon.

Celestial Beings AU. Unfortunately, said sun and moon have no memories of their past mortal lives… not knowing each other except in fleeting passings at dusk and dawn, where they think, momentarily, they might have glimpsed someone special to them once.
