Another Darkiplier theory? HELL YEAH another Darkiplier theory!…well, sort of another Darkiplier theory. More like an extra addition on a previous theory I came up with. Basically this one in particular. TL;DR: Darkiplier doesn’t run on what we know as physics, but more akin to something we’d consider as “video physics”, ie. traveling via jump cuts, realm is only as big as we see, ability to rewind time like a video.
So let’s go back to the quote that I used to start that theory.
“Darkiplier is an entirely different person from me. But, much like Warfstache, doesn’t obey the laws of physics. He exists in another world entirely and bleeds through into this one. ”
Today, we’re going to look into the other statement: existing in another world that bleeds into ours. I believe that with the recent video that Markiplier released, Don’t Play This Game, we have a pretty good visualization on just HOW his realm bleeds into ours, in terms of video visualization~
So this is the official “beginning” of the Darkiplier cameo.
Have we seen something like this before?
They’re very much the same from each other. One reality suddenly zooming out, revealing thousands of other versions of that realm, all while under the sound of high pitched ringing and what I could only consider to be the sound of something going UP. Like an elevator or something.
But…you know…this visualization reminds me of those collages of a huge picture made out of all those small little pictures related to that big picture. You know, something like this:
(I kind of wanted a smaller picture, but this big picture is a good way to show what I’m talking about, I guess?)
Couple that with the first GIF that showed Dark with his separation of colors as they zoom farther and farther away from us, and it only confirmed one big thing for me: this is definitely something video related.
Darkiplier can totally observe our world no matter where he is. This is why Markiplier is so powerless against him, because Dark is at a realm even higher than we are. So high that we technically would not be able to process it. Because, to him, our realm is literally a pixel on a TV screen.
But then, why is his realm so dark and black and hard to see anything in it, when our realm seems to be so bright and colorful? Honestly, I think it’s just for a visual aesthetic aiming toward something a bit more horror related than something tied to Darkiplier’s lore himself. Because what do you get when you have a completely dark room with the only thing lighting it up is a few thousand pixels?
Ladies and gentlemen, I propose that this is how Darkiplier sees our world.
