I will get in touch with the field of pure potentiality by taking time each day to be silent, to just Be. I will also sit alone in silent meditation at least twice a day for approximately thirty minutes in the morning and thirty minutes in the evening.
I will take time each day to commune with nature and to silently witness the intelligence within every living thing. I will sit silently and watch a sunset, or listen to the sound of the ocean or a stream, or simply smell the scent of a flower. In the ecstasy of my own silence, and by communing with nature, I will enjoy the life throb of ages, the field of pure potentiality and unbounded creativity.
I will practice non-judgment. I will begin my day with the statement, “Today, I shall judge nothing that occurs,” and throughout the day I will remind myself not to judge.
2. The Law of Giving
Wherever I go, and whoever I encounter, I will bring them a gift. The gift may be a compliment, a flower, or a prayer. Today, I will give something to everyone I come into contact with, and so I will begin the process of circulating joy, wealth and affluence in my life and in the lives of others.
Today I will gratefully receive all the gifts that life has to offer me. I will receive the gifts of nature: sunlight and the sound of birds singing, or spring showers or the first snow of winter. I will also be open to receiving from others, whether it be in the form of a material gift, money, a compliment, or a prayer.
I will make a commitment to keep wealth circulating in my life by giving and receiving life’s most precious gifts: the gifts of caring, affection, appreciation, and love. Each time I meet someone, I will silently wish them happiness, joy, and laughter.
3. The Law of Cause and Effect
Today I will witness the choices I make in each moment. And in the mere witnessing of these choices, I will bring them to my conscious awareness. I will know that the best way to prepare for any moment in the future is to be fully conscious in the present.
Whenever I make a choice, I will ask myself two questions: “What are the consequences of this choice that I’m making?” and “Will this choice bring fulfillment and happiness to me and also to those who are affected by this choice?”
I will then ask my heart for guidance and be guided by its message of comfort or discomfort. If the choice feels comfortable, I will plunge ahead with abandon. If the choice feels uncomfortable, I will pause and see the consequences of my action with my inner vision. This guidance will enable me to make spontaneously correct choices for myself and for all those around me.
4. The Law of Least Effort
I will practice Acceptance. Today I will accept people, situations, circumstances, and events as they occur. I will know that this moment is as it should be, because the whole universe is as it should be. I will not struggle against the whole universe by struggling against this moment. My acceptance is total and complete. I accept things as they are this moment, not as I wish they were.
Having accepted things as they are, I will take Responsibility for my situation and for all those events I see as problems. I know that taking responsibility means not blaming anyone or anything for my situation (and this includes myself). I also know that every problem is an opportunity in disguise, and this alertness to opportunities allows me to take this moment and transform it into a greater benefit.
Today my awareness will remain established in Defenselessness. I will relinquish the need to defend my point of view. I will feel no need to convince or persuade others to accept my point of view. I will remain open to all points of view and not be rigidly attached to any one of them.
5. The Law of Intention and Desire
I will make a list of all my desires. I will carry this list with me wherever I go. I will look at this list before I go into my silence and meditation. I will look at it before I go to sleep at night. I will look at it when I wake up in the morning.
I will release this list of my desires and surrender it to the womb of creation, trusting that when things don’t seem to go my way, there is a reason, and that the cosmic plan has designs for me much grander than even those that I have conceived.
I will remind myself to practice present-moment awareness in all my actions. I will refuse to allow obstacles to consume and dissipate the quality of my attention in the present moment. I will accept the present as it is, and manifest the future through my deepest, most cherished intentions and desires.
6. The Law of Detachment
Today I will commit myself to detachment. I will allow myself and those around me the freedom to be as they are. I will not rigidly impose my idea of how things should be. I will not force solutions on problems, thereby creating new problems. I will participate in everything with detached involvement.
Today I will factor in uncertainty as an essential ingredient of my experience. In my willingness to accept uncertainty, solutions will spontaneously emerge out of the problem, out of the confusion, disorder, and chaos. The more uncertain things seem to be, the more secure I will feel, because uncertainty is my path to freedom. Through the wisdom of uncertainty, I will find my security.
I will step into the field of all possibilities and anticipate the excitement that can occur when I remain open to an infinity of choices. When I step into the field of all possibilities, I will experience all the fun, adventure, magic, and mystery of life.
7. The Law of Purpose in Life
Today I will lovingly nurture the god or goddess in embryo that lies deep within my soul. I will pay attention to the spirit within me that animates both my body and my mind. I will awaken myself to this deep stillness within my heart. I will carry the consciousness of timeless, eternal Being in the midst of time-bound experience.
I will make a list of my unique talents. Then I will list all the things that I love to do while expressing my unique talents. When I express my unique talents and use them in the service of humanity, I lose track of time and create abundance in my life as well as in the lives of others.
I will ask myself daily, “How can I serve?” and “How can I help?” The answers to these questions will allow me to help and serve my fellow human beings with love.
It’s easy, sometimes, to forget that Alura’s life on Krypton was, for her, not so long ago.
It’s easy to forget that for her, her planet’s destruction was not decades ago, but so recent, so, so recent, because she’s adapted to life here to quickly, and she’s built a life in the place of her sorrow. She’s happy, too, Lucy knows that, she can see it, she sees it when Alura laughs with her sister and embraces her daughter, sees it when she watches Astra and Alex lean together like they have no troubles in the world. She sees it in Alura’s eyes when the woman kisses her. She knows that Alura is happy, because the woman spent enough of her life pretending, and hiding, and she leads this new life with an open honesty that is more refreshing than Lucy can describe.
But its the little things, really, that remind Lucy that Krypton’s influence is still very much present and alive within Alura. Things like this; the way Alura glances away when Lucy cups her face and tells her she’s beautiful, the faint crease that furrows her brow, the dusky flush high on her cheekbones.
Lucy frowns slightly in response, running her thumbs over Alura’s cheeks, and leans forward to nudge her nose against her jaw. ‘Hey’, she murmurs, kissing the defined edge, ‘you okay?’
Alura nods, her lips curving, her fingers carding through her hair. ‘Of course. Why wouldn’t I be?’
Lucy purses her lips slightly, considering her words, running her hands up and down the woman’s back. Alura’s weight is warm and familiar in her lap, their hips pressed together, and Lucy reaches for the remote to mute the television, silencing their marathon of Brooklyn Nine Nine, before she settles her hands on her hips. ‘No reason, really, just…’ she cups her face again, fingertips curling at the hinge of her jaw, ‘you sometimes look… so surprised when I say that’.
Alura blinks. Her brow furrows slightly, and she murmurs, ‘I suppose… I suppose I am’.
Lucy’s frown deepens, and she loops her arms around Alura’s neck, twisting locks of her hair around her fingers. ‘You don’t think you’re beautiful?’
Robb Stark and Lady Stark survive the Red Wedding. Talisa/Jeyne died and Robb gets his sisters back, there is a new and better King in Kings landing. The North is independent and the Starks killed everyone that betrayed them. Now you are the gem of the North, your father a great general that promised Catelyn Stark to marry you to Robb Stark so he is to remain King in the North.
“But the Lord said to Gideon, ‘There are still too many men. Take them down to the water, and I will thin them out for you there. If I say, 'This one shall go with you,’ he shall go; but if I say, ‘This one shall not go with you,’ he shall not go.” - Judges 7:4
God wanted Gideon to trust Him. He did this by instructing him to take his army of over 30,000 and downsize it to 300…even though they were about to face an army of 100,000! In this situation, Gideon could have easily doubted God. In the eyes of man, it didn’t make sense to downsize an army before a battle; however, Gideon chose to listen, and he chose to obey. Gideon would come to find God had a much bigger plan for how the battle would be won. As a result, it wasn’t the might of the 300 men that won the battle, it was God performing a miracle that made the victory possible. Even though God’s instruction left him with much less than he originally had, Gideon’s immediate obedience to God led to a miraculous victory.
God wants you to be obedient with the little you have too. Just because the number in your bank account is trickling downward, or you barely have enough energy or patience to get through the day, it doesn’t mean God in His awesome might can’t perform miraculous victories in your daily life. God wants to take your small amount and do more with it, but you have to be willing to be obedient first. Don’t turn away from Him when you’re having to downsize or wait to see how things are going to work out. Continue to be obedient to Him, and trust He is capable of far more than you could ever imagine.

NOTE: THE ABOVE 3 CONDITIONS MUST BE FULFILLED NO MORE THAN 2 OR 3 DAYS BEFORE OR AFTER THE FOLLOWING:
1. PARTICIPATE IN SOME CELEBRATION OR PRAYER IN HONOR OF THE VIRGIN MARY. THIS CAN TAKE PLACE IN A CHURCH, ORATORY (CHAPEL), OR IN FRONT OF A PUBLIC STATUE IN HONOR OF OUR LADY OF FATIMA. (ONE SHOULD ASK OTHERS TO JOIN IN THE CELEBRATION. EVEN IF NO ONE ATTENDS YOU ALONE CAN PRAY IN FRONT OF THE STATUE AND THIS WILL STILL QUALIFY FOR THE INDULGENCE).
A. BEST PRAYER BEFORE THE STATUE WOULD BE THE ROSARY IN HONOR OF THE VIRGIN MARY.

1. OUR FATHER
Our Father, Who art in heaven Hallowed be Thy Name; Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen.
2. APOSTLES CREED
I believe in God, the Father Almighty, Creator of heaven and earth; and in Jesus Christ, His only Son, our Lord: Who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary; suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died and was buried. He descended into hell; the third day He rose again from the dead; He ascended into heaven, is seated at the right hand of God the Father Almighty; from thence He shall come to judge the living and the dead. I believe in the Holy Spirit, the Holy Catholic Church, the communion of Saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and life everlasting. Amen.
3. INVOKE THE FOLLOWING: OUR LADY OF FATIMA, PRAY FOR US.
Dear god, is Zoro actually capable
of remembering anyone’s names but Luffy’s? Then again, it’s a blessing she hasn’t
got tagged with something as awful as ‘witch’ like Nami has.
“Don’t worry, Ri-flower! I
shall return victorious!”
Sanji’s off, leaping over the side of the Merry to
land upon the thick grass that covers the earth. He points one challenging
finger towards Zoro, announcing that their contest will be decided by whoever
brings back the most mass of meat and the two stalk off in different
Riskua watches them going,
her head already throbbing. Well at least she’ll be able to crack on with her own
research until they return.
“A-at least Riskua decided to
stay,” Usopp finally murmurs, legs wobbly before he decides to sit himself down,
“dependable, already been to the Grand Line, capable fighter Riskua.”
He nods firmly and the redhead
smiles slightly, having not expected that kind of endorsement from Usopp.
She’s aware they’ve not spent
too much time together, the other pirate a bit too engrossed in his weapon/ship
modifications and worrying about… well, everything, while she’d been training with
Zoro and Sanji and Luffy, most of the time. Hell, most of her socialising with
Nami was down when they were in the girl’s cabin. But really, she’s spent so
much time with boys while growing up, she’s just not as practiced while talking
to other girls. She’ll get over it though. Just, not today.
“Well, if you need me, I’ll
be writing up some of my notes in the kitchen,” ‘where the snacks are’, Riskua
finishes silently, smirking as she gets to her feet, waving goodbye to both
Usopp and Nami as she heads to the hatch.
“Go with solidarity, my brothers, and soon we will see all of Paris roused to our Cause and rallied to our Call!”
Enjolras’s words were met with a round of cheers, bringing the meeting to a close. Enjolras shared a smile with his closest lieutenants before sitting for the first time in over an hour. His break would be only temporary; time was a luxury only the bourgeois could afford and more preparation was needed. But even as Enjolras gratefully accepted a cup from Combeferre and took a sip, he scanned the room, something amiss even with his mind otherwise occupied.
It took him a long moment to realize that there was no glaring error present; rather, what struck him as wrong was the absence of a constant: Grantaire, the libertine and resident cynic who nonetheless was as consistent a presence as darkness to the night. It took him a moment longer to scan his memories and realize that he had not seen Grantaire some four meetings hence, an oddity that he felt remorse at not realizing earlier. “Where is Grantaire?” he asked Combeferre in an undertone, hoping not to draw attention to the question.
Combeferre shook his head, not looking up from the pamphlets spread in front of him. “He has not been here a few weeks, I don’t think,” he said, confirming Enjolras’s realization. “Surely you noticed? There is a reason our meetings have gone undisturbed of late by the fumes of wine and rants of nonbelievers.”
What does Islam think of Jesus as a prophet? I mean do Muslims also hold he was crucified? Also is Mary a prophet in Islam? It's great how an entire chapter in the qur'an is named after her & jesus is called jesus SON OF MARY
Yes - Jesus is known as Isa Ibn Maryam, or Jesus, Son of Mary, you’re right, and Arabic names don’t use matronymics (name reference to the mother) so it’s particularly important here.
And yes, Jesus (Isa in Arabic) is a prophet in Islam, with the Gospel named al-Injil. The major difference between Christian and Muslim view of Jesus is that Islam does not consider him to be a son of God or God incarnate.
Behold! Allah said: “O Jesus! I will take thee and raise thee to Myself and clear thee (of the falsehoods) of those who blaspheme; I will make those who follow thee superior to those who reject faith, to the Day of Resurrection: Then shall ye all return unto me, and I will judge between you of the matters wherein ye dispute.
“That they said (in boast), “We killed Christ Jesus the son of Mary, the Messenger of Allah”;- but they killed him not, nor crucified him, but so it was made to appear to them, and those who differ therein are full of doubts, with no (certain) knowledge, but only conjecture to follow, for of a surety they killed him not:-
Nay, Allah raised him up unto Himself; and Allah is Exalted in Power, Wise;-
And there is none of the People of the Book but must believe in him before his death; and on the Day of Judgment he will be a witness against them;-
