I love Diego. Diego is very funny. He’s a very cool guy, quite a smartass, and I really appreciate smartasses. He used to make fun of me for the stupid backpack I wore. There were a few situations where I couldn’t [wear the stilts]. [When] I was on a cliffside or running in water and stuff like that, I had to wear this backpack with a telescoping head that came off the top, and it was really stupid looking.
And the first time I wore it, it was like the first day we shot in Jordan. And he said [Puts on Diego Luna accent.], “Something terrible has happened. Ever since you put on that backpack, you have depressed the entire crew. It’s very sad.” He just went on about, “Please, for God’s sake, please take it off. For the love of God.” Anytime I put it on, “Everyone respected you just one moment ago. But now, it is evaporated.”
“I am Moana of Motunui. Aboard my boat, I will sail across the sea and restore the heart of Te Fiti.” -Moana (2016)
“I am Diana of Themyscira, daughter of Hippolyta. Your wrath upon this world is over.” -Wonder Woman (2017)
Female leads are so important.
I just want to take a moment and appreciate these two women in their movies. They are strong, courageous, defiant, and independent. When I first saw Moana, I cried about seven times. It was so refreshing to see a character that didn’t need to rely on anyone else to save the day besides themselves. And recently, when I watched Wonder Woman, I got emotional all over again because I noticed similar parallels between Diana and Moana.
They both are introduced in their youth. Moana wants to be out on the ocean, and Diana wants to train to be an Amazon warrior. But they have their parents that set them on different paths. Moana’s parents want her to be the chief, and Hippolyta doesn’t want Diana to train so that she can be protected. Upon reaching older age, both Moana and Diana set out on journey’s that they know they must embark on. Diana leaves Themyscira with Steve to defeat Ares and end the raging world war. Moana leaves Motunui to find Maui and restore the heart of Te Fiti to save her people and her island. Both women are so determined to complete what they set out to do, and when it comes a time for them to do it on their own, they completely kick ass. Even when they are set back by obstacles, they keep pushing on.They both defeat a god, (respectively to each cultures mythology). And in the end, they both understand that love is what can save the world. Diana learned that in her endeavors, and it was love that Moana showed that restored Te Ka into Te Fiti.
There is so much to love about these two, and I could go on about how many parallels there are. I really adore and appreciate these strong female icons. Both movies are definitely my top favorites of all time.
The wind is rising! … We must try to live! The huge air opens and shuts my book: the wave Dares to explode out of the rocks in reeking Spray. Fly away, my sun-bewildered pages! Break, waves! Break up with your rejoicing surges This quiet roof where sails like doves were pecking.
Levi has wrapped his keffiyeh around his head leaving nothing but his eyes showing, and settled back against the cab of the pickup. Erwin has nothing to keep the dust off his face, but he’s glad he has his shades to shield his eyes at least. The dark lenses also allow him to examine his new companion. Levi is short, there’s no other word for it, tiny really, but there’s nothing slight about him. He’s strong and wiry and Erwin can’t keep his eyes off the golden swell of his forearms folded across his chest. It’s his eyes that really captivate Erwin though, sharp and clear and grey. Erwin could drown in eyes like that.
No one can tell how much i love “Cardamom’s” @lostcauses-noregrets and @birbwin. My art earlier doesn’t represent decently i wish this one showing enough how i adore the writers and the story.
that I really have to point out – I adore
how the characters in the movie(s) have close to no hard feelings towards
each other over what happened between them in the past. Once the “guilty” one
strives to do better and make up for what they did wrong, the others accept it
and roll with it, not further prodding and reminding involved.
that everyone can fuck up and make mistakes, or even do bad things, not just mistakes, but that they also deserve a second
chance. I mean:
Rocket and Groot wanted to steal from or kidnap Peter. It may have been born
from practicality, but Peter later still endangers his own life to go save
Gamora from Drax and later escapes with them, and he counts on them to work
with him even after the fiasco with the Collector.

the whole galaxy in, he’s still ready to fight Ronan and a whole army.
them all by calling Ronan to Knowhere, but Groot still saved him, and Rocket chewed
him out before getting him to help them save Peter and Gamora.
from Yondu and the Ravagers, but they still help him fight Ronan, even though
it’s “only” for the money they could get from that. (Several of them lose their
lives in that battle, too.)
Guardians are all criminals, but the Novas evoke their criminal records and
acknowledge them as heroes instead of pretending that it was all the Nova Corps’

to help and Yondu accepts him back pretty much readily.
the reason Yondu sacrifices himself which Kraglin is absolutely broken about,
but even in his hurt Kraglin doesn’t say it was Peter’s fault, and instead gives him
the Zune and calls him his Captain.

it and has Rocket repair the arrow so Kraglin can have it.
they could have accused each other, they could have hold grudges, they could
still be angry at each other, but it’s not
that important to them. Because everyone fucks up once or twice or more,
but they try to do better, to make up
for it, and that’s all that counts for each of them.
I just love
that about these movies. I’m a bit tired of the whole trope where characters
have misunderstandings or long-ass grudges for each other even though each has
been trying to atone for what they did wrong.
And I really want to recommend it to anyone who reads this.
Please go see this movie and support it. Not only is it hilarious, but it also has an awesome female cast and a great lesbian romance between Zoë Kravitz’s character (Blair) and Ilana Glazer’s character (Frankie).
I was so happy and proud to see a lesbian relationship on the big screen. It was apart of the main cast, humorous, but not in a negative way, and overall, a positive representation that wasn’t over or under done. It was beautiful. Not to mention the kiss that they share. It was sweet and perfect, and totally adorable.
I loved the movie and really hope it does well. I feel like it’s a step in the right direction for LGBTQ representation in big time movies.
( get to know me ) favourite book & movie ⇨ the perks of being a wallflower
❝ There’s something about that tunnel that leads to downtown. It’s glorious at night. Just glorious. You start on one side of the mountain, and it’s dark, and the radio is loud. As you enter the tunnel, the wind gets sucked away, and you squint from the lights overhead. When you adjust to the lights, you can see the other side in the distance just as the sound of the radio fades because the waves just can’t reach. Then, you’re in the middle of the tunnel, and everything becomes a calm dream. As you see the opening get closer, you just can’t get there fast enough. And finally, just when you think you’ll never get there, you see the opening right in front of you. And the radio comes back even louder than you remember it. And the wind is waiting. And you fly out of the tunnel onto the bridge. And there it is. The city. A million lights and buildings and everything seems as exciting as the first time you saw it. It really is a grand entrance. ❞
Warnings; Mild spoilers towards the movie, but no biggie.

I really had trouble to finish anything, I have a lot ideas, but never know how to end them.
Anyway, I really adore Wonder Woman and I am still amazed by the movie. Gal Gadot is so stunning in that role! So therefore, I had to write something about our favorite precious Amazon Princess. <3 It’s like really cheesy, but I hope you enjoy it. (,:
When Steve Trevor died Diana was sure she would never fall in love again. For years she has been avoiding relationships which went beyond friendship and over all never felt the need to find a romantic partner.
That was until she walked into that sweet little flower store of yours.
She was lost in her thoughts and unconsciously stumbled through the pastel blue door.
She found herself in a vintage dream full of different flowers and in the middle of all that beauty, there was you over shining everything simply with your smile.
For the first time in years the Amazon princess felt something in her heart. The ice that formed over her heart was slowly starting to melt and since a long time Diana didn’t know how to act. She was totally mesmerized by your (e/c) eyes and how your (h/l) (h/c) hair perfectly framed your face.
She walked over to some white lilies.
“Lilies are a symbol of purity and the beauty of youth, but also known for passion and drive. ”
To the Amazon Princess your voice sounded like a choir of hundred angels. It made her feel warm around her chest and increased her heartbeat. For decades she was known as the confident warrior, always standing her ground and being steady when it comes to decisions, but right know she had trouble forming any words. She was speechless.
Diana studied dozens of books surrounding flowers, she knew they were also a symbol for motherhood and fertility, also of rebirth and renewal. She just couldn’t bring any words up.
The Amazon simply nodded and payed for the flowers only to give them to Superman, who was a bit surprised, but accepted the gift gladly.
Diana started to visit your shop regularly, only to listen to you talking about flowers. Everyday, you’d wear a flowerprinted Outfit, which fitted your (b/t) body perfectly, but more she loved how your eyes started glowing as you lost yourself in your rambling. Sometimes, you’d stop midsentence and apologize for talking too much, but she would always say, that she enjoys listening to you. Every time you finished talking, the Amazon would buy flowers, only to give them to her team members. She started placing new flowers on the league’s main table every week.
While some members teased her about turning from Wonder Woman to Flower Girl, she didn’t care. At least the Martian Manhunter would regularly express his appreciation for the lovely plants.
Like every other day Diana was heading to your store. It was a quite noon, not much traffic and the weather mildly warm.
The princess turned around the corner, when she sensed something was wrong.
Usually, you’d let your door open, especially when the weather was good. She also noticed some broken flower pots lying on the ground.
Diana rushed to your store, getting slower and quieter as she got near the front door.
Carefully and without making any sound she opened the door, only to find your store completely devastated. Than she noticed a person wearing all black pointing a gun at… you.
The Amazon’s heart dropped as she saw your (e/c) eyes wide open a pleading look gracing them.
“Oh, please don’t do this.” Your voice trembled with fear.
“Nobody will miss you. It’s not like you have any people who care about you.” A deep male responded mockingly.
“I disagree on that!”
Diana had enough and stormed through the door, right towards the robber. He fired the gun at her, but the Amazon simply dodged the bullets with her arms, leaving the man shocked, but only for a split of second. The Amazon already grabbed him and threw him into the next wall, his body falling unconscious onto some broken flower pots.
“Y-You are Wonder Woman?!”
Diana simply turned around and gave you a gentle smile,
“But this is a little secret between us.”
You nodded and started to fumble with your hands, still trying to proceed what just happened.
“You saved my life! I don’t know how to thank you.” You looked around your now ruined little store and hung your head.
“I’d like to give you some flowers, but they all have been destroyed. I am so sorry.”
You sighed with an apologetic look lingering in your (b/c) orbs.
Diana took your hand and gave you an reassuring smile.
“Don’t apologize, you are clearly the harmed one here. I should be apologizing for being too late.”
The Amazon princess took a look around and noticed an intact bundle of red roses. She picked them up and turned to you.
“I’d really like to take those. I want to give them to someone who means very much to me.”
Diana could have sworn your head dunked further down.
“Oh… They must be really lucky then. I hope they’ll appreciate them.”
When you lifted your head your (e/c) eyes met her deep blue ones.
“I hope so too. (Y/N), would you like to go on a date with me after we clean up your store? I know a wonderful place where we can get the best ice cream around here.”
Your eyes sparked up and that frown on your face turned into a bright smile.
“Yes I’d love to!”
