AN: My contribution for Sakura’s birthday. Quickly jotted down on my extra long lunch break ^_^ Enjoy!

“This,” Sakura Uchiha grumbles as she drives her fist into the face of a particularly grimy bandit, “is not how I expected to spend my birthday.”

Sasuke makes a vaguely inquiring noise as he carries out a variation of his Shishi Rendan, sending his opponent flying through the air with several cracked bones.

“Never mind,” she mutters, ducking a clumsy kunai strike and using her attacker’s momentum to throw him over her shoulder.

The large band she and Sasuke have stumbled upon have been plaguing the nearby village for months, according to the inhabitants. They’ve take up residence on the only bridge in the area and have been charging travellers a toll to get by. Those who refuse have been violently robbed and left for dead, according to the warnings of several survivors.

It should have been the work of ten minutes to neutralise them and tie them up, but neither she nor Sasuke expected the majority of them to be former Kusa-nin. Even in this time of peace, missing-nin present a constant problem – especially those who made their livelihood pursuing war.

At least the Akatsuki had an actual purpose – these creeps just want to bleed people dry for their own benefit!

In the end, in the name of expedience rather than anything else, Sasuke traps them all in a genjutsu and Sakura rounds them all up. She’s kept the use of her strength to a minimum, not wanting to accidentally destroy the bridge they are trying to liberate.

As Long As You’re Happy

A/N: Hey guys, here’s a random short fic from my old writing blog. I just changed some details and names, but here ya go. And as of right now, I’m in the process of writing another part to this story but it will likely take me some time; please be patient as I try to flesh everything out. Thanks. -Admin Kiwi🍬

Mark had finally gotten a break from tour to relax back in Seoul where he can bask in relaxation with friends (who had the time) and spend time with himself. But due to his own private schedules, that time was cut short with him running back and forth from one place to another. He would come back to the dorms late and tired from days filled with them and I would feel bad for him, but kind of feel neglected a bit–considering I’m his best friend and we haven’t been able to hang out or let alone speak for a while. Mark picked up on this a couple days ago when I had visited the dorms and had planned a day where he would be free the entire day to hang out for once in a long time. The only downside – for me that is – is that he didn’t tell me someone else would tag along.

Preference #7 You overhear him talking about you

Your and Calum’s relationship had been better in the past; you guys were fighting a lot and went to bed at separate times. You guys hadn’t had sex in a month and it was taking its toll. Calum was cranky all day because he couldn’t get off which only resulted in you fighting some more. There wasn’t a day that went by without one of you yelling at the other. In spite of that your relationship was still strong and steady or so you thought.

Calum had the boys over one day when you came home late from work. ‘’Hi guys are you staying for dinner?’’ You ask as you walked into the living room. ‘’Yeah sure if you don’t mind having us.’’ Luke responded. ‘’The more the merrier right?’’ you said as you walked to the kitchen to get dinner started.

After putting your casserole in the oven you wanted to ask the boys if they wanted a beer or something. Right before you walked into the living room you heard Michael saying your name.

‘’So how are things going with [Y/N]?’’ He asked. ‘’Ah I don’t know men. Lately it’s been terrible! She always yells at me and we haven’t had sex in a month! My balls are so close to exploding. If this goes on any longer I’m afraid I have to break up with her!’’ Calum answered. ‘’Why don’t I spare you the trouble.’’ You said as you walked in. ‘’[Y/N]! I didn’t mean that!’’ Calum protested. ‘’Casserole is done in half an hour don’t forget to take it out.’’ You said as you grabbed your coat and walked out needing some time to be alone and process what just happened.

You and Ashton were about to celebrate your 5 year anniversary and a little birdy called Lauren may or may not have mentioned something big was about to happen. If tonight was really the night of your engagement you wanted everything to be perfect so you started planning your outfit 3 weeks in advance. You had bought the most beautiful dress and spent hours on YouTube watching hair and make-up tutorials.

You just stepped out of the shower when you heard someone talking in the bedroom. Since you could only hear one part of the conversation you figured Ashton was talking on the phone. Something about the way he was talking worried you. His voice was hushed and he talked very fast. Maybe he was talking about how he would propose and didn’t want you to hear. You were about to walk into the bedroom saying you were ready to leave when you heard him say your name. ‘’I just don’t feel that spark anymore! [Y/N] and I used to be prefect together but now I just don’t know anymore. I mean I still love her but she has changed so much! A couple of weeks ago she started talking about marriage and children and I’m not ready for that yet! I think we need to take a breather or something.’’ He said to the person on the phone, probably one of the boys.

‘’Maybe you should’ve told me since I’m the one you’re in this relationship with.’’ You said as you walked out of the bathroom. ‘’[Y/N] wow you look incredible!’’ Ashton said pretending you didn’t just say what you said. ‘’Don’t change the subject Ash! If you’re not feeling it anymore you should’ve told me instead of talking behind my back.’’ You said leaving the room.

Luke was at the studio today and wouldn’t be home until late so you decided to have a lazy day in. You grabbed some DVD’s and some food and started your movie marathon. Around 4 o’clock you ran out of food so you decided to run to the groceries and buy some more. You called Luke to find out if there was anything he needed and what he wanted for dinner tonight.

He answered on the third ring ‘’Hey what’s up?’’ He said. ‘’Hi, nothing much how are you?’’ you replied. ‘’Fine.’’ ‘’I was doing groceries and was wondering what you wanted to have for dinner tonight.’’ You said. ‘’ Oh I think me and the boys are just going to order take out cause we’ll be here for a while.’’ He responded. ‘’Ok that’s cool anything else you need?’’ you asked. ‘’No, gotta go bye.’’ Before you could respond you heard Luke say something again thinking he was still talking to you. ‘’She’s so annoying! Can’t she just decide what we have for dinner I’m the one working all day while she is doing nothing!’’ he said. Is that what he really thinks about me? That I do nothing. You asked yourself. ‘’I just wish she was more like my ex. Everything was easier with her.’’ He sight. ‘’Luke there is a reason your ex is your ex so maybe the fact that she is nothing like her is a good thing.’’ Michael said. ‘’Doesn’t feel like it. I just wish she became a little bit more independent.’’ Luke explained. ‘’Tell her that!’’ Ashton said. ‘’Actually I think you already did.’’ Calum said probably pointing to the phone.

‘’Babe I’m…’’ ‘’Save it.’’ You interrupted him and hung up.

It was a tradition that you, Michael and the boys always went to the beach the day after they came back for tour. You loved going to the beach because you associated it with Michael being home.

You were upstairs getting ready to go to the beach whilst the boys were waiting for you downstairs. You put on your new bikini and you thought you looked amazing. You covered it up with high-waist shorts and a hippie crop top. You were walking downstairs when you overheard Michael talking about you. ‘’She gained weight, like a lot!’’ He said to the boys. ‘’Michael it’s not that bad I’m sure she can get it off real quick.’’ Calum said. ‘’That’s not it! I mean she completely loses herself when I’m not here! At first she just didn’t clean the house and she neglected the way she looked but now I guess she gains weight as well! I just hope she doesn’t wear a bikini so I don’t have to look at her body.’’ ‘’You’re being rude Michael she is not a whale! She gained a few pounds so what? As long as she is happy with the way she looks!’’ Ashton defended you. You figured you heard enough and went back upstairs to change into sweatpants and an oversized sweater.

‘’Hey guys, I’m so sorry but I’m feeling terrible. I’ve got tunnel vision so I’ll probably have a migraine pretty soon. I’m staying in and avoiding sunlight so you guys have fun for me ok?’’ you said trying to hide the fact you were so close to crying.

‘’I think she heard you mate.’’ You heard Luke say as you walked back upstairs.

[A/N] Hi guys, hope you liked it :) please give me feedback. Requests are open as always and you are still more than welcome to talk to me about anything. I will always be there for you and I do not judge :)

Pompeii 18

hey everyone! it’s the winter equinox and @vesperlionheart‘s birthday! wish her well and enjoy the longest evening of the year!

Sakura examined the sample read-out with a frown, still at a loss for most of the chemical composition. The only one she recognized was chlorine. She even pulled out a few of her old textbooks but none covered most of these items.

“Is it code?” Sakura muttered, nibbling thoughtfully at her pen.

The people at the lab had been reticent about procuring the results…they could have changed the names in the computer to mess with the read-out. To go that far…something dangerous was happening at the lake.

Sakura furrowed her brows, glaring down at the innocuous sheet of paper.

“Should I come back another time?” someone asked in an amused tone.

Sakura glanced up, blinking at the expanse of vivid green before her. Then her eyes focused in on the speaker. “Wasn’t your appointment at 9 this morning?”

Kakashi shrugged.

“It’s 2 in the afternoon,” Sakura said, unimpressed.

Jungkook ran into his dormitory and quickly shut the door as if there was an angry mob following him. It was a quiet day, most of the other Bangtan members had gone out and there was hardly anyone in the streets, yet Jungkook was being followed. Followed by a mob of his guilt, regret, self-hatred. Followed by the image of a broken-hearted you standing in the middle of the local park. It’s like the image had anchored itself in his brain and gotten wedged into the tight and complex crevices that made up his mind. Maybe if I’d told her the truth, he thought to himself, yet quickly shook away his doubts as he was far too hurt to fully process what had just happened. When Jungkook was upset, he found the best way to deal with the pain was to close off and provide himself with distractions. How the hell am I going to distract myself from her?

Pulling his phone out of his pocket and crashing on the cheap Ikea sofa he proceeded to delete every picture that had even the slightest association to you. He thought that it would help him think about you less, however it just made him feel sadder look through all of his happier moments only to realise that they would never come again. Looking at his photo gallery that was now empty of joy, a lump arose in his throat. And possibly a few tears formed at his eyes, however he would never admit to it.

“It’s done?” A sleepy-eyed Namjoon emerged from his room and sat on the adjacent sofa.

“Yeah. It’s over.”

Namjoon remained silent. He felt that his roommate needed a moment to himself. He understood Jungkook’s feelings the best, as he was the only one out of them all who was aware of Jungkook’s immense love and adoration towards you. The rest, especially Yoongi, only saw the relationship between you as something immature and lust-driven.

With an exhausted sigh Jungkook shoved the phone back into his pocket and forced himself to stand. Picking up his keys and wallet, he headed back towards the door he’d come in.

“Where are you going?” Namjoon curiously shouted, unmoved from his reclined position on the sofa.

“To find a distraction.”

“Chan is so amazing- and sweet!” Your friend Emma’s overenthusiastic voice rang through your ears like a fire alarm. She smiled cutely whilst standing in front of the bench you were sat on, holding up her couple’s t-shirt like a small child doing show and tell.

“Don’t be fooled. Boys are evil.”

“Oh come on, Y/N, it’s been two months since you and Jung-” you stopped her sentence with a hostile glare.

“Actually, I agree. Chan is so sweet and amazing.” You purposefully cleared your throat, “Especially when he did that really sweet thing where he settled for you after getting rejected by me,” you sarcastically added.

Another friend, Jenny, slapped your arm. “Y/N what’s wrong with you?”

“I’m sorry, I’m sorry,” you apologised after realising how harsh you had sounded, “seriously though, you guys are cute together.”

Emma accepted your apology as she knew how much the breakup had actually affected you. Still, even after two months, you hated hearing his name. It created an unpleasant taste in your mouth and made you wince automatically. A week of non-stop crying and not leaving your bed left you feeling numb to all affectionate sentiments you had once possessed. Even when such sentiments were expressed through other people, you couldn’t help but recoil in horror and retaliate with pessimism.

“You know what guys,” Jenny changed the topic as all three of you were getting up off of the bench, “we haven’t had a girl’s night in for a while. I think we should have a sleepover this Saturday.”

“Ooh, yes!” Emma responded with her trademark puppy dog-like excitement. All three of you walked leisurely along the gravel pathway which flowed like a river through the grassy area that existed between two tall apartment buildings in your neighbourhood.

“I’m actually going out on Saturday.” You replied in a surprised tone, as if shocked that you had any plans that didn’t involve staying at home and binge-watching a television series.

“Really?” Jenny was equally as surprised, “Where to?”

“My brother is having a party for his solo debut and we’re having drinks to celebrate out near where he works.”

“Ah,” Jenny replied.

“Is, um, you-know-who going to be there?” Emma softly half-whispered.

“I don’t think so,” you confidently answered, “He has a show he’s doing so I probably won’t be seeing him there- not that I know his schedules or anything, I just wanted to make sure he wasn’t going.” Jenny and Emma were both amused by your attempts to justify that you only knew about what he was doing so that you could avoid him.

“Well, then it’s just you and me,” Jenny said to Emma, “Have fun tomorrow, Y/N.”

And the three of you parted ways. Emma probably to go see her beloved Chan, Jenny to the library to get some studying done and you back home, not aware of the troubles that awaited you in the near future.

Cutely dressed in a crop top and skirt, you met Yoongi in the lobby of the BigHit building. After not seeing your brother for a few months, you shared a quick hug and were immediately off to the club at which he had arranged his rather informal solo debut celebration to take part in.

“Wow,” you remarked whilst sitting in the taxi next to your brother, “Min Yoongi has finally released his mixtape.”

Your brother smiled at you, “I know. Now the world will know my musical genius.”

“Calm down, Kanye West,” you joked. It felt good to get along with your brother again. After the whole kissing Jungkook thing your relationship with your older brother seemed to become strained, he hardly talked to you and you didn’t feel right speaking to him while you were having your fling with one of his best friends. Even when the two of you did talk, you’d unintentionally start an argument about trivial subject matters and there was always some sort of feeling of mutual hostility. After Jungkook broke up with you, you felt like you no longer had something to hide from your brother and so could rekindle the close bond the two of you had shared before he’d joined Bangtan.

The two of you got to the club and at the entrance Yoongi was reunited with Jimin and a few other BigHit employees, whilst you politely greeted some acquaintances.

“Yoongi never told me how pretty his sister was,” said a friend of your brother’s after you cordially introduced yourself as ‘Yoongi’s bratty little sister’.  You laughed at his comment and humbly denied as you started to become more settled into the celebratory atmosphere.

“Hey, Y/N,” Jimin shouted from right in front of the entrance as he clung to your brother’s arm, “We’re going inside now!”

You and your newly established friend walked into the club together, ready for a party. Once inside, it took a while for your eyes to adjust to the darkness, and once they did, they were immediately drawn to a woman aggressively making out with a seemingly attractive man, surrounded by a sea of dancing bodies. You couldn’t quite see their faces, you could only see the man’s messed up hair poking out from behind the woman’s desperate cling.

“Ugh,” you instinctively reacted in disgust.

“I know right,” Yoongi’s friend shouted over the loud music, “Jungkook and his girlfriend need to calm it down with the PDA.”

Your whole body grew stiff. You finally realised the messy hair was that of your ex-boyfriend, Jungkook. The very bulging biceps that had once embraced and sheltered you where now snaked around another girl. You felt like your heart had broken for a second time and you thought that if the music wasn’t so loud everyone else in the room would be able to hear the shattering.

“Are you okay?” Yoongi’s friend questioned, although you were too numb to answer. Your fight or flight response was beginning to kick in and your mouth grew dry. All you could think in that moment was: I have to leave, I have to go.  And so, without a word to your new friend you turned around to go through the club’s exit.

“Y/N! Y/N!” You could hear faint calls from your brother, although you pretended not to hear them and kept walking. You finally got out into the crisp night air and forced yourself to lean onto the brick wall of the club in order to catch your breath. You couldn’t cry, you couldn’t move, you couldn’t do anything except stare up into the night sky.

Yoongi barged through the door that you had just come out of and gave a sigh of relief once he saw you. “Y/N,” he moved closer to you, “Are you alright?”

You finally moved your gaze from the sky to him and quietly replied, “Yeah I just- I have a headache. I want to go home.”

“Is it not because of Jungkook?”

“No I-”

“Just tell me, I already know that you two dated.” His tone seemed to have a touch of sincerity to it, although his words were more stark and unfeeling.

“Well it’s been over for a while now, so you don’t have to worry.”

“But I do.” He seemed more serious this time. “Namjoon told me Jungkook was in love with you. At the time I didn’t want to believe him, but seeing your face now-”

You laughed cynically, “In love with me? Yeah right. That asshole was never in love with me.” A couple of tears finally pushed themselves out of your tear ducts. After that, a solid stream of salty tears was able to flow down the curvature of your cheeks.

“Y/N, I’m sorry, he told me he wasn’t going to be here.” Yoongi tried to console you, but you felt too uncomfortable to accept your brother’s sincerity.

“You knew me and him dated?” You choked out.

“How long have you known?”

“Since the day before you two broke up.” Now it was Yoongi’s turn to awkwardly ignore your gaze. Your brother looked suspiciously guilty, so you leaned in to further examine his expression. He scratched at his hair, “Um, actually, I need to confess something- I am the reason Jungkook broke up with you.”

“You WHAT?!” Your sadness turned into anger as you tried to wipe away the wetness from your face.

“I forced him to tell you he wanted to end it. But I did it for the general safety of Bang-”

“So he lied to me about the reason he was breaking up with me?”

“I guess so.”

“You made him tell me that he wanted to stop seeing me because you wanted to protect your own image.” You were growing more angry by the minute.

You were not giving him any more chances to speak. “So Jungkook did actually love me?”

“Probably,” he confessed.

A new set of tears began rolling down your face and you had to support your weakened body on the dirty brick wall of the club once again.

“Yoongi, you’re a dick.” You tearfully concluded.

He looked down. “I know.”

“So is Jungkook. You both lied to me.”

“Y/N-” He began when suddenly the back door of the club was thrust open yet again. Jungkook and his stunning girlfriend were joyously holding hands and laughing to themselves when they had stumbled upon a teary-eyed you and a regretful-looking Yoongi.

“Holy shit,” Jungkook gasped under his breath. His girlfriend looked over us with a confused expression. “Y/N,” Jungkook said your name to himself, as if he could not believe you were standing there. It was a really awkward situation for you to be in: your brother, your ex-boyfriend and his new girlfriend all standing together in silence and confusion.

“Kookie,” you winced at the nickname his girlfriend used, “who is Y/N?”

Yoongi had finally broken his surprised silence, “Suzy, this is Y/N, my sister,” he delicately introduced. You looked at him with annoyed eyes. She didn’t have to know who you were and you certainly didn’t want to know who she was. Jungkook grew quiet upon observing your irritated expression and avoided your gaze. Everyone was weirdly quiet except for Suzy.

“Oh. Is she okay?” She annoyingly inquired.

“I’m fine, I was just about to go home,” you snapped. You didn’t mean to be rude to her, it was just because of circumstance that you reacted in a bitchy way. “Bye,” you coldly said to your brother, ignoring Jungkook and his tall, beautiful girlfriend.

“What’s up with her?” You heard Suzy whisper to Jungkook, although Jungkook paid very little attention to her. You turned around and started to walk away.

“Wait!” Jungkook called and you foolishly turned back to see him look towards your brother, “Can I escort Y/N home?” Shockingly, Yoongi nodded back.

“What?!” Suzy confusedly whined. “What about me?”

But Jungkook carried on without acknowledging his girlfriend’s high-pitched moans. The two of you started walking. Suzy shouted some profanity at him, but Yoongi had pulled her back inside the club. You quickened your pace to avoid walking right next to Jungkook. He just sped up.

“What the hell are you doing?” You burst out at him, causing him to stop.

“It’s not safe to walk on your own in these parts. But I’d feel bad if your brother had to take you back and miss his party.”

You rolled your eyes. “Well don’t walk next to me. I don’t want to see your face. It  makes me want to punch you.”

“Punch me then,” he responded nonchalantly.

His defiance angered you, so you continued walking and pushed yourself so that you could maintain the lead. This would’ve worked, if you knew your way to the train station you were looking for, but you didn’t, so it didn’t. Instead you took wrong turn after wrong turn, trying to navigate yourself through gut feeling rather than actual knowledge.

“You’re going the wrong way.” He uttered from behind you.

There was no response, instead your anger caused you to speed up some more.

“Hey!” He grabbed your upper arm. You turned around to reveal that you had began to tear up and that you were in some weird hurricane of emotion: anger, sadness and frustration was building up inside of you like some unruly storm over the Pacific ocean. He looked at you with his sensitive eyes for the first time in months. You missed the softness of his gaze and the familiar furrow of his brow which had melted your heart many times before. Your two faces were so close to each other that you could almost feel the warmth emanating from his soft skin.

“You know, Jungkook, I really hate you,” you spat out, breaking the prolonged eye contact.

“No you don’t.”

You paused for a bit and reflected on his abrupt response. “I want to.” Your face angled itself up so that your eyes were connected again.

“But you don’t.”

“Your girlfriend probably does.”

“I don’t care,” he retorted.

Yet another tear escaped from your eye and you softened into a whisper, “What do you want from me?”

He let go of you and put his hands into his coat pockets. “I don’t know. I just want to see you.”

“Jungkook, you broke up with me, remember? For fuck’s sake, you have a  girlfriend.”

“She’s not you.” His eyes seemed watery, but he didn’t look like he was going to cry.

“You broke my heart.”

“You broke mine as well.”

He moved closer to you. “By just existing. If I never met you, I wouldn’t have been forced to break up with the only girl I’ve ever been in love with.”

You moved closer to him. “Jungkook,” you tearfully voiced.

His hands were finally freed from his pockets as they rested on both of your cheeks, wiping away the glistening trails of mascara and tears. The night was cold, but his hands made your whole body feel some sort of warmth. “Please don’t cry.”

“It’s too late for that. I cried for a whole sea after you broke up with me,” you weakly hit his chest, “And now you think this makes up for it, don’t you?”

He didn’t say anything.

“I see you making out with some other girl and an hour later you’re holding me like you used to when we were together. I don’t know how to feel about this, Jungkook.”

He still did not say a word, his expression was stone cold. You punched his chest again, tears still falling down your face. He tightly pulled you into a hug and you cried into his coat, feeling the sturdiness of his abdomen against your soft chest. He gently stroked your head with one hand, whilst securing your waist with the other. “I don’t know how to feel either,” he softly spoke, his musical voice making you melt deeper into his body, his chin resting on the top of your head. “All I know is that I love you.”

And with that you found yourself first tenderly kissing his cheek- him sweetly closing his eyes. You moved your lips so that they hovered over his, however you found yourself stopping there. He then slowly pushed himself forward, his mouth grazing onto yours, causing a tingling sensation. It quickly turned into a full on kiss, with his tongue dancing delicately with yours. Everything in that moment felt soothing. And when he finally pulled away to allow himself  to catch his breath, you finally replied, “I love you too.”

Ashton Irwin Fanfic - Cam Girl - Part 3

Part 2

Summary: You’re a cam girl who’s regular customer suggests something a little out of the ordinary

Word count: 1.8K

I looked down to see that I still only had my underwear on. Fuck! What’s wrong with me?!?

I felt my cheeks blush immediately as I pulled the phone away from my ear and stood back from the doorway. I felt strangely exposed for some reason, even though he has seen me in a lot less than this.

“Hi. Uh.. yeah. So … Why don’t you come in. Sorry, I-uhm, forgot I had no clothes on.” Well that didn’t sound stupid at all, well done Y/N!

“Well don’t feel the need to change on my behalf.” He grinned at me with those adorable dimples showing in his cheeks.

I stepped back and let him in. He brushed past me and sat his bag down near the door. I swiftly closed the door behind him and turned around to find him standing right in front of me. He was taller than I thought he was and even more beautiful in person. The camera really done him no justice.

“It’s good to finally see you.” He brushed the hair back from my face and took my face in his hands.

“It’s good to see you too.” I placed my hand over his and rested into his touch. This felt nice, it felt safe.

I was suddenly brought back down to reality, remembering that I only had my underwear on. “But I really should get changed.” I broke away from his touch slightly and he pulled his hands away and stuck them in his jean pockets as he leaned back on his heels. I instantly regretted doing it. I wanted his touch, I’d thought about how his touch would feel for so long and now I’m ruining it.

“Sure, go ahead.”

“Please, make yourself comfortable. I won’t be long.” I pointed around to the living room as I headed through to the bedroom. I quickly put on my skater skirt and crop top that I had laid out. I then slipped on my pumps and checked myself out in the mirror one last time. I looked okay, my outfit showed off my curves well and my skin looked soft and smooth from my body butter earlier. I sprayed a little perfume on my neck and wrists and went back through to the living room.

Ashton was wandering around looking at my stuff. He was looking at my pictures on the wall near my desk and the few drawings that I had scattered over it, he looked so at ease just running his fingers along my desk.

“Hey, so I thought that I could make us something to eat. I thought that maybe you’d be hungry after the drive and everything.”

Ashton stopped looking around and turned around to look at me when I spoke. He really was breathtaking, the need to touch him was becoming unbearable. “Actually, I was wondering if I could take you out for dinner.”

How sweet of him but I couldn’t let him. “Why don’t I take you out since you drove all the way here? It’s my treat.” He smiled at me and licked his bottom lip. “As long as I get to go out to dinner with you, then I’m not arguing.” He walked towards me slowly still taking in the room around him, all I done was stare at him. I couldn’t help but stare, he almost demands the attention of a room. He’s so poised and confident in every movement that you can’t seem to look away.

“You’ve got a nice place, it’s homey.” he lifted his shoulder as he looked around briefly.

“Thank you. It’s a bit small but it’s all I need really.”I was try to look at my apartment but my eyes kept lingering on him. I just couldn’t help it. He was here. In front of me. Unbelievable.

“I like it.” he concluded

He wandered over and stood right in front of me. With anyone else I wouldn’t be comfortable, I like my own space but he was looking at me with his bright hazel eyes, the kind that makes you forget your own name. He placed his finger under my chin and tilted my head up so that my gaze met his.

“Y/N, I’ve waited so long to see you. In a funny way you almost don’t seem real. But if you are then I can’t let this opportunity slip past me, can I kiss you?”

I’d wanted this for a long time, I wanted to know his lips, to feel his body pressed against mines that I didn’t need to think about my answer, it just fell from my lips.

I’d never wanted anyone to kiss me more than I did with him right now. He gently cupped my face with his hands and slowly brought his lips to mines. The anticipation of it all sent sparks shooting through my body. I gave in to his touch, his lips were soft but yet filled with passion. The taste of him against my lips only left me wanting more, I slid my hands up his chest, feeling his broad shoulders and then tangled my fingers in his hair. Ashton slid his tounge along my lips asking for permission and I gladly gave it to him. His tounge worked against mines, exploring my mouth as I moaned into the kiss and tugged on his hair.

We gently broke apart eventually, even though I felt like I could have stood there forever. Ashton still held his hand to my cheek as we pressed our foreheads together.

“You have no idea how long I’ve wanted to do that for.” He breathed out, a smile spread across his face.

I quickly pecked him on the lips again, lingering near his lips.

“I think I do.” I whispered back to him.

After a few more long, heated kisses we eventually made the choice to leave the apartment. Ashton seemed appalled that I’d only had coffee and that I needed to eat a proper meal, he practically dragged me from the house and we walked down to the main part of town. As soon as I had locked my door his hand found mines and he held on tight as we walked together. I could feel my smile grow on my face as we walked hand in hand through town, I felt so at ease with him, like I’d known him for a long time. We were just speaking about light topics at first, what his drive was like, how school is going and what we plan on doing after school. Then he started to dive in a little deeper.

“So, where does your family live?”

I didn’t want to get too deep about family, that was a part of my life that I wanted to keep separate. I didn’t want Ashton to know any part of that. I tried to just be nonchalant with him as I answered him.

“They live like a days drive away.”

“That must be a bitch of a drive on the holidays by yourself.”

“I actually don’t spend the holidays with them.” I could her my voice change, it sounded colder, not like my own and I think Ashton could tell too because he dropped the subject and started talking about the food places which we were walking by.

I gave a sigh of relief internally, I really wasn’t up for telling him my past. That’s enough to scare anyone away.

“So, where are we eating?” He asked me looking around at all the places there were.

“I’m not sure, I don’t go out too much.” I admitted, kind of embarrassed by it. Mostly because if I wasn’t studying then I was on the webcam which doesn’t leave much room for friends and webcam girl isn’t really much of a hobbie. Well, not one that you tell people about anyway.

“How about there?”

Ashton stopped and pointed to the little restaurant across the street, it looked nice. I nodded my head and we made our way over the street. Once inside we were greeted by a friendly waitress with her blonde hair tucked away in a neat ponytail and her little apron at the front holding her order pad and pen.

“Hey, I’m Stacey. Table for two is it?”

“Yes please.”

Ashton spoke for us since I was too busy being nosey and poking my head around the place. It was quite busy, filled with couples and a few families, all out for dinner. Judging by the sheer volume of people, this place must be quite popular around town and I’ve never even heard of it. The restaurant had a rustic feel to it, kind of homey which reminded me of my place a lot. All of the pictures on the wall were kind of odd and didn’t match but all together it looked great.

Ashton stood behind me with his head towering over my frame, he held both my hands as he gently kissed the top of my head. He was so different to any man I’d been out with before, he was so loving and looked at me with .. I don’t know what, I’ve never seen anyone look at me like he does. Ashton gently kissed the side of my head and rested his face against my cheek just as Stacey came back with our menu’s.

“Follow me and I’ll show you to your table.”

Stacey lead us past tables of people chatting and enjoying their meals as we headed further into the back of the restaurant. She sat us down at a small booth for two with hardly anyone else back here. We sat across from each other and Stacey placed the menu’s on the table.

“Its a little more private back here, nice for couples. I’ll let you have a look over the menu, would you like a drink just now?” That was nice, at least we can have a little bit of space back here.

“Yes, could I have a glass of white wine please?” She wrote it down on her pad and turned to Ashton.

“Could I also have a glass of white wine, please.”

“Sure thing.”

She popped her pad back into her apron and walked back the way we came. Me and Ashton picked up the menu’s and started reading over them, although I was too distracted by him to actually read the menu.

“So, I didn’t peg you for a wine drinker.” I looked over my menu to meet his eyes.

“Well, there’s a lot you don’t know about me Y/N.” He stared into my gaze with those piercing hazel eyes, I feel like I could spot them in a room filled with a thousand people.

“Hmmmm, well I think I’d like to find out more.” I winked at him.

“Is that a promise?”

“You can bet your ass it is. Do you think I’m going to let some strange man stay in my house?” I feigned to be appalled by the thought as I widened my eyes at him.

“I think not. So, you have some explaining to do Mr Irwin.” I put my menu down and crossed my arms over my chest as I leaned into the table. Ashton put his menu to the side and copied my posture so that our faces were almost touching. He was trying to hold back his smile and pretend to be serious but failed as he burst out laughing. His laugh was incredible, his laugh makes you laugh and love him even more. It’s my new favourite thing about him.

“You already know a lot about me!” He managed to say once he stopped laughing.

“Why don’t we start with how you found my page? I’ve never asked you that before.”

The Heart Wants What It Wants (Requested)

We decided to visit my uncle tonight and stay at his place so I’m using his internet to post this! I still plan to write this weekend & post at least one more request when I get home next week. :)

Also, I may or may not have been watching “Grease” when I was writing this… which is why Y/N may pull a bit of a “Sandy” moment… ;)

Brett Talbot. What could you really say about Brett… There were the obvious things. He was extremely tall. That was actually an understatement. Brett towered over every other student at Devenford Prep. He was also charming and one of the most popular people in school, boy or girl – why wouldn’t he be? He’s good looking, funny, and he’s a kickass lacrosse player to boot.

But you also knew some of the not-so-obvious things about Brett, the real Brett. You saw the real man behind the mask. The biggest surprise about Brett wasn’t that he was a teenage shape shifter, a werewolf. No, the biggest surprise about Brett was that Brett had one of the kindest hearts of anyone you’d ever met before in your entire life. He didn’t show that side of himself to many people, but you got to see it – at least when you two were alone…

The truth was simple yet complicated all at the same time. You were the Brett Talbot’s girlfriend, but nobody at Devenford Prep actually knew that. For some reason, completely unknown to you, Brett kept requesting, no insisting, that you two keep everything between you two a totally and complete secret from everyone else.

At first, sneaking around had been kind of fun. There had been a somewhat exciting element to it all, or maybe it was just the thrill of knowing that you could be caught and exposed anytime. Now though, after almost a year, well you found yourself hoping that someone would catch you and Brett together. Then, you could just tell everyone the truth.

At this point, all you really wanted was to be able to hold your boyfriend’s hand in public or kiss him hello when you first saw him at school in the morning. You wanted to go on an actual, real date with Brett – one where you nervously got ready and tried on four different outfits before he picked you up at your front door. You wanted to tell all of your friends about Brett. He was special to you, and it killed you to keep him, and those feelings, a secret from mostly everyone you cared about.

Unfortunately, Brett wasn’t ready to take that step yet. The two of you had taken plenty of other steps together in your relationship, but for whatever reason, this is the line that Brett wouldn’t cross. That’s why, currently, the two of you are in a heated discussion about the subject…

“I don’t understand why we have to keep talking about this?” Brett asks you in a weird way, that familiar frustrated and annoyed, yet confused as all hell, look on his face.

You scoff under your breath while rolling your eyes. “And, I don’t understand why we can’t just go public.” You quickly retort. “I mean, really, what is the problem, Brett?” You ask him, your eyes going wide.

“There is no problem, Y/N. I just like things the way that they are, and I really love having you all to myself.” Brett tries to sweet talk you as he steps around you and wraps his arms around your waist from behind, nuzzling his face down into your neck in the process.

“Brett, stop!” You step away from Brett after swatting his face away from you.

“Y/N…” Brett whines while dragging out the sound of your name.

“No!” You interrupt Brett. “I’m done being your dirty little secret, Brett.” You cross your arms over your chest and stare into your boyfriend’s blue eyes.

Brett looks taken aback now. “You’re not my dirty little secret, Y/N.” Brett tells you.

“It sure feels like it.” You whisper under your breath, knowing Brett will hear you, before grabbing your bag from the floor beside your feet, and then storm out of Brett’s house, leaving him both stunned and worried.

Later that night, you and Lydia Martin are sitting in your bedroom. She was a part of a different pack, separate from Brett’s as well as a student at another school, but you were still good friends with her. You’d met last year during the deadpool mess, and the two of you had just bonded. She was also the only person who knew about you and Brett. “If he doesn’t respect you enough to acknowledge you in public, I say you throw him to the wolves…” You give Lydia a weird look after hearing her reference. “Figuratively.” Lydia reassures you. “What I mean is, if he’s not man enough to act like your boyfriend in public, let him go and find someone who will!”

“I can’t do that though.” You pout while throwing your body back onto your bed.

“And why not?” Lydia asks you, her eyes staring straight into yours and her lips pursed.

“Because I’m in love with him.” When Lydia gives you an incredulous look, you just shrug your shoulders at her with a silly smile on your face. “I can’t help it. The heart wants what it wants, Lydia.” You do your best to explain it to your friend.

Lydia lets out a groan, knowing that you’re a goner. “Well, you’ve got to do something. You can’t keep letting him have all of the power in your relationship.” She tells you matter-of-factly, and you actually agreed with her. Then again, you knew that Lydia was the one to always wear the pants in her relationships, so to speak. She never let a boy push her around or make decisions about her life.

“Okay, so what am I supposed to do?” You ask Lydia. She was the boy expert after all.

All of the sudden, Lydia’s mouth slowly starts lifting into a mischievous smile. “Devenford Prep is playing Beacon Hills tonight, right?” Lydia asks you in that all-too-sweet tone of hers that told you she had a plan.

“Yes…” You reply warily.

Only a couple hours later, you’re sitting in the passenger seat of Lydia’s car with her as she drives towards her own high school. You look down at yourself, and immediately start shaking your head. “This is a bad idea. I don’t think I can do this!” You look up at Lydia with a terrified look in your eyes.

“Y/N, stop it!” Lydia waves her right hand at you as she turns into the Beacon Hills parking lot. “You look amazing. Brett isn’t going to be able to keep his hands off you, let alone his eyes.”

“You’re only saying that because you’re fulfilling your lifelong dream of giving someone the “Sandy” makeover from Grease.” You side-eye your friend accusingly.

“Maybe so.” Lydia shrugs her shoulders. “But, I also know that this is totally going to work.”

Lydia’s plan was simple. She made you over from your “plain Jane” everyday style, and she turned you into a mega-foxy badass leather-wearing babe. Not only would Brett notice the drastic measures you were taking to prove your point, but he’d also see that tons of other guys would be willing to acknowledge you in public. In Lydia’s words, Brett needed to know just how lucky he was to have been chosen by you over every other deserving guy.

After Lydia parks the car, the both of you get out. Once you’ve shut the passenger door behind you, you look down at yourself again. Lydia had somehow convinced you to wear a black skater skirt with a black crop top and leather jacket. You had put your foot down when she tried to make you wear a pair of her heels. Instead, you had chosen to wear your own black motorcycle boots. There were some things that would never change after all…

“Come on!” Lydia grabs your hand and starts dragging you towards the lacrosse field. Lydia had it all planned out, not that she’d told you about anything else. Lydia keeps ahold of your hand as she drags you over towards Scott, Stiles, Liam, and Jackson, who is visiting from London. “Hello Boys.” Lydia smiles at them, dropping your hand. But, when Lydia looks over and sees you trying to adjust your top, she bumps your hip with her own and gives you a stern look.

“Who is this?” Jackson smiles over at you, his dimples out in full force, thinking you’re more than gorgeous.

“This is my friend, Y/N.” Lydia starts the introductions. “Y/N, this is Jackson Whittemore.” When your mouth drops open slightly, remembering the stories you’d heard about Jackson, Lydia lets out a chuckle. “Yes, that Jackson.”

“You’ve heard about me, huh?” Jackson asks, that cocky grin on his face. When you notice Jackson looking you up, down, and back up again, it somehow gives you a confidence boost.

You shrug your shoulders. “Just tales of the homicidal lizard.” You tease Jackson.

Jackson lets out a little laugh. “Nothing like the good ol’ days, right?” He jokes back with you.

You look behind Jackson to see Scott, Stiles, and Liam looking at your funny. “Hey guys…” You greet them nervously.

“What happened to you, Y/N?” Liam asks before he can think about it. “You look…”

“Beautiful.” Jackson finishes for the beta, thinking he better say something before Liam put his foot in his mouth and offended you.

“Thank you.” You smile up at Jackson before biting your lip. Were you flirting? You couldn’t believe it. Your heart totally belonged to Brett, but you couldn’t deny how nice it was to get this sort of attention from an attractive boy out in the open, for everyone to see.

As Lydia talks with Scott and Stiles, who are still looking over at you every so often, she looks across the lacrosse field to see Brett glaring at Jackson. She grins to herself, knowing that her plan is working.

When Coach Finstock yells at Scott, Stiles, and Liam to get back to the bench, Lydia turns towards you and Jackson. “So, you’re going to sit with us, right Y/N?” Lydia questions you, knowing that you usually sat on the Devenford Prep side.

“Um, don’t you think I should support my school?” You ask Lydia, your eyes going a little wide, letting her know that you really meant support Brett, not Devenford Prep.

“It’s not like anyone is expecting you, right?” Lydia starts smirking.

You take a deep breath, knowing you can’t say that Brett would be annoyed to see you sitting on the Beacon Hills side. Then again, you were annoyed with him right now. “Yeah, I guess so.” You nod your head at Lydia.

As you sit and watch the lacrosse game, sitting between Lydia and Jackson, you and Jackson trade quips back and forth about the game or the players. You had always been a fan of sports, and when you started dating Brett, you had made sure that you learned more about lacrosse. Now, you were a true fan of the sport in general.

Down on the field, Brett makes sure to keep an eye on you. When you’d walked into the game earlier and he’d first seen you, his mouth had almost dropped open. Seeing you, dressed so bold and sexy, was a shock for him – a good one, of course. But, Brett also just liked the girl he’d gotten to know over the past year, the girl who didn’t care about clothes or makeup. He thought you never looked more beautiful than when your hair was up in a messy bun and you wore your glasses instead of contacts.

But, the more Brett saw you interact with that guy in the stands, the angrier and more jealous he became. And, the more jealous that Brett became, the more he wanted to run up there and rip that guy’s jugular out with his claws. Every time Jackson would casually place his hand on your arm or bump his leg against yours, Brett’s yellow eyes flared up towards the two of you.

Back up in the stands, you inwardly cringe as Brett completely misses a goal he’d just shot. “Come on, Brett…” You whisper underneath your breath, not even loud enough for Lydia to hear next to you. You were sure your boyfriend could hear you with his werewolf hearing though. And, you’re right. Just after saying his name, you notice Brett’s eyes move up to look at you. You give him the most optimistic smile that you can, hoping to encourage him and lift Brett’s spirits.

You knew that this was not the real Brett. You didn’t care how he played one way or the other, but it was clear as day that Brett was distracted. You bite your bottom lip, realizing that it’s probably all your fault. “I’m sorry.” You mouth towards Brett, locking eyes with him. When Brett shakes his head once and goes back to playing, your shoulders slump down.

“Hey, are you alright?” Jackson asks you, noticing your change in demeanor, bumping your shoulder to boost you up.

You lean forward and rest your hands against your knees. Then, you look over your shoulder at Jackson. “I don’t know.” You tell him quietly.

After that, the game seems to go in super speed. Luckily, Brett seemed to snap out of whatever was going on, and he started playing like you knew he could. Right when everyone thought it was all over, Brett brought Devenford Prep back from the brink. He was stealing the ball and scoring on the Beacon Hills players right and left.

The score was currently tied, and there was only enough time left for a single play. One of the other players on the Devenford team passes to Brett, and you watch with bated breath as your boyfriend runs towards the goal, swings his lacrosse stick, and wait. Once you see the ball hit the back of the goal net, you can’t help but cheer for him.

Lydia glances over at you and grins. “What?” You ask her.

“Look who wants to celebrate with you.” She turns her eyes over towards the front of the bleachers where you see Brett parting the crowds in front of you and sprinting his way up to you.

“Brett?” You question him once the freakishly tall boy is standing in front of you.

“I’m sorry.” He tells you. Then, Brett surprises you by stepping down one bleacher, leaning down, and connecting his lips to yours in the most intense kiss you’d ever experienced.

When you realize what is happening, you pull back. “But, we’re in public…” You say the first thing that comes to your mind.

“I know.” Brett laughs a little bit at you before leaning down and kissing you again. When he pulls away just a few seconds later, Brett reaches forward and holds your hands in his, lacing his fingers through yours. “And, I’m sorry. I just… I wanted to keep you all to myself…”

From behind you, Lydia clears her throat, completely ruining the moment. Brett looks over your head at her while rolling his blue eyes. “I was also a little scared. People around me tend to get hurt, and I didn’t want that to happen to you.”

You lean forward and kiss Brett again. “You know, now that we’re public and everything… You can always be by my side and protect me.”

“That sounds perfect.” Brett smiles down at you, squeezing your hands in his. Then, Brett remembers that Jackson is still standing nearby. He turns his head and glares at the other boy. “By the way, don’t ever touch my girlfriend again.” He growls out at Jackson.

“I don’t have to.” Jackson starts chuckling underneath his breath. “Lydia’s plan worked perfectly!” He taunts Brett.

“Lydia’s plan, huh?” You turn on your heel to look at your friend.

Lydia just shrugs her shoulders. “I know, I’m a genius.” Lydia flips her hair over her shoulder while bouncing down the bleachers and joining the rest of her pack by the sidelines. Jackson soon follows after giving you a friendly wink.

Then, you turn your attention back towards your boyfriend. “I love you, you know that?” You stare into Brett’s eyes from under your eyelashes.

“I love you, too. I’m sorry it took so long for me to really show it though.” Brett leans over and rests his forehead against yours.

“Late is better than never, Babe.” You whisper to Brett before unclasping your hands from Brett’s and then wrapping them around his neck while you stand on your tip toes and kiss Brett’s lips again. He just wraps his arms around your waist and holds you close in return.

(If you can signal boost this, I’d greatly appreciate it! Thank you.)

I’m opening headshot, bust, and ACEO commissions, cause my current monitor’s starting to crud out on me, I also need money badly for college, and a few other necessary things. I’m hoping to make at least $100-200 per month. This will cover a few necessary things, such as paying my dad back for classes- I’m in debt right now and it really stinks. It’s also about $100 per month for me to get to and from school riding the bus. I really need to be making money right now, else I’ll be in deep trouble, especially if I can’t pay my dad back how much I owe him (Which is a fair bit. D:)

I use Copic Multiliners and Prismacolor colored pencils on Strathmore 9x12 sketchbook paper for my inked and colored work, these materials are expensive and high quality. The prices you see account for cost of materials and my time. In case of artist trading cards (ACEOs), I use the same materials, just drawn on a smaller scale (2.5x3.5in cardstock). In the case of digitally colored sketches, the prices count for cost of materials + time.

What I’ll draw:

Original Characters

Fan Characters

Fan Art (If I’m not familiar with the series, I’ll need references!)

What I won’t draw:

Anything that’s NSFW (Not Safe for Work)

Furry (If the character(s) have cat ears, horns, wolf ears, or anything like that, that’s totally fine. I can’t draw full on furries though, or animals yet)

MLP/My Little Pony (Since I’m not too good at drawing animals yet)

I’m not as good at drawing characters with male features yet, but I’ll do my best.

Days that I’ll be working on and scanning commissions are Mondays-Saturdays. Sundays, I’m a bit busy to work on commissions and scan them. I’ll do my best to inform you all if something happens suddenly or in advance (Ex. I’m going out of town or am too sick to work on commissions, that sort of thing).

As the artist, I have the right to use the commission(s) I draw for you as examples for future commissions and to post to my DeviantART, Tumblr, and forums I’m a member of (For reference, the forums I’m currently somewhat or mostly active on are Zelda Universe and Sycra.net). I also have the right to refuse a commission for whatever reason. If you don’t want your commissions posted online, please let me know!

As the commissioner, you have the right to use the work for noncommercial purposes (Such as printing out the drawing(s) and hanging them on your wall. That’s fine! What’s not fine is taking my hard work and selling prints of it, for example, or cropping out my signature and/or watermark).

Please DON’T remove my watermark and/or signature, or post the commission(s) anywhere without my written permission. I used my spare time and resources to draw something for you, don’t be a butt and not give credit and/or do those things mentioned above.

anonymous asked:

Has your opinion on Bronies or MLP in general changed at all since you first started watching the show or being active in the fandom? Also, how did you react to all the attention "Discord" was getting at first?

I can answer that second one first, simply because it’s quicker. I appreciated it, because it meant people really enjoyed an original tune I had made, and that it was getting so popular! I was thrilled.

The next one isn’t as easy to discuss, so I’ll try to parse out what I’m getting at after the break. I should confess… this is going to be long.

Chapter V // Inevitable Love

“Why do you keep making me go to parties I obviously do not want to go to?” I groaned, throwing my head back against the headrest of the seat.

“Because I know you’ll spend your night eating junk food and watching movies. I’m not gonna let you waste your life away.” Alexis explained, her voice raising slightly as she spoke.

“So you’d rather me get wasted then waste my life away?” I questioned in an “are you stupid” tone. “No, but I want you to have fun!” She swatted my leg, “Besides, Jack will be there.” She singsonged.

I rolled my eyes at her, she’s been teasing me about him since last week when I went out on that date with him. We’ve kept in contact but we haven’t actually seen each other since then. I’ve been busy at home and trying to juggle work so I haven’t had any time to spare besides on the weekend where I slept all day.

“Okay, and? I still don’t wanna go.” I shrugged, leaning my head against the window. Alexis sucked her teeth at me, “Well I’m pretty sure you won’t be saying that once you see Jack. I bet he misses you.” She smirked.

We arrived to the party, tons of cars lined up along the street and music blasting from inside the house. I didn’t understand how the neighbors or how the street even put up with that and accepted it. Unless this street was filled with teenagers. We hoped out the car and made our way by the front of the house. I smoothed out my slightly cropped top with “Parental Advisory Explicit” on it in white bold letters and my ripped light denim jeans. I wiggled my feet in my black vans and ran my hair through my naturally curly hair.

There were red solo cups all over the front porch and I expected to see a lot more throughout the night. As we made our way inside their were people grinding on each other against the wall, people socializing and laughing, people making out and a fair share of people just observing everyone else. I pursed my lips to the side as I followed behind Alexis who made her way over to the drinks.

“Do you want anything?” She yelled over the loud music, pointing to the drinks.

I shook my head, “No I’ll be the designated driver for the night.” I dismissed her offer, my eyes looking around the room.

“Looking for Jack?” She asked with a smirk on her face as she sipped her concoction of different drinks, moving closer to me so she didn’t have to yell.

“No, I’m just looking.” I lied.

I would be lying to myself if I said I didn’t wanna see him. We’ve been getting slightly closer and he was just a really nice guy to chill with. In other words, I appreciated his presence around me. Our conversations were forced and our personalities were shown, we could be ourselves around each other and that’s what I appreciated the most.

“Oh!” Alexis took me out my trance, “There he is!” She pointed over towards the door.

Sure enough, Jack had just walked in with a few other friends I’m guessing, all guys. He looked good; a black v-neck, khaki shorts, calf high socks and his black and white vans. It’s simple but simple is nice I guess. I didn’t wanna seem like I was looking for him so I turned around, facing the drinks. Alexis chuckled at me before patting my shoulder and muttering something before walking off. Like usual, she leaves me alone.

“Getting started without me?” Jack breathed down my neck, his hands resting on my hips making me tense up a little and jump in shock.

I spun around to face him, “Jack, hey! I didn’t see you come in.” I lied, “and no, I’m not drinking tonight."

"Designated driver?” He asked and I nodded, rubbing my palms on my jeans. I felt his eyes examining my body, “You look good.” He complimented me.

I furrowed my eyebrows at him and frowned a little. He rolled his eyes, “Look, you gotta get use to me complimenting you when you look the way you do.” He chuckled, moving to the other side of me and pouring himself a drink.

“And how is that?” I asked, tilting my head to the side.

“Sexy, beautiful, cute. The list goes on, Skylar.” He smirked, sipping his drink. I shook my head laughing, “Smooth.” I joked.

He shrugged, “Yeah, I mean it happens.” He played along. I chuckled and looked out on the dance floor once I heard  Came To Do by Chris Brown come on, automatically making me move my hips a little.

“You wanna dance?” He asked me, moving closer to me, almost closing the gap between us. I looked up at him and shrugged, “Only if you want to."

He gulped his drink and grabbed my hand, pulling me towards the center of the room. He spun me around so my back was against his chest and I began to dance to the beat, my eyes closed as I sang along. I unintentionally began to grind on him a little. I always been one to dance with my hips, body rolling, winding and just moving my ass in general. Jack held onto my hips and moved along, his breath tickling my neck every so often.

Once the song finished, I turned around to face him with a smile. Jack looked down at me, his hands still on my hips, returning the smile. "I need some air.” I told him, fanning myself with my hand.

He grabbed my hand and nodded his head towards the back door. I nodded and followed behind him, pushing past some fairly drunk people before getting to the back door and opening it. We both stepped out and closed it behind us. I let out a loud sigh once I felt the warm air slam against my skin, cooling me off instantly.

“You can dance.” Jack said with raised eyebrows and a grin on his face.

I opened my eyes and shrugged, “I’ve always loved to dance and music. Once I hear music I like, I can’t not dance to it."

"I saw, ” He chuckled, “you were really feeling the music.”  I rolled my eyes and hit him on the arm playfully, “Shut up.” I chortled.

He held up his hands in defense and chuckled, “That’s not a bad thing. It was cute.” He assured me.

I looked down and bit my lip, “So, who’d you come here with?” I asked, changing the subject.

“My best friend Jack, Sam and Mike.” He told me. I nodded, “No girls?” I teased him.

He shook his head, “Nah” He smirked. “Why not?"

"I’ve kinda got my eye on a girl right now.” He licked his lips, pulling them into his mouth subsequently. I raised my eyebrows, “Oh really?” I said in a different octave. He nodded, “Yep. Who’d you come with?"

"Alexis of course, always dragging me to parties against my will.” I sighed, shaking my head faintly. “Against your will?” He chuckled, “She’s like so little, I’m pretty sure you could take her.”

I raised my eyebrows and sighed, “She’s stronger than you think, trust me I’ve tried.” I laughed. “Well it can’t be that bad, I mean you did meet me.” He joked, putting his hands on his chest.

I laughed, rolling my eyes playfully, ‘Yeah, okay" I raised my eyebrows.

Jack chortled and placed his hands on my waist, “No but really. Are you happy you met me?” He asked, looking into my eyes, giving me a weird feeling inside. I nodded and licked my lips, “Yeah, I am"

"Good, 'cause I’m happy I met you.”
