i need a new printer

I received a single line e-mail.

Client: I need this building 3D printed. File is attached.

The attached file was a screenshot saved in MS Word of an artistic rendering of a new building.

Now I need to break it to her that 3D printers need a little more to go on than a screenshot.

Make no mistake, it’s going to be painful.

ART COMMISSIONS: OPEN

Well, we finally got a new printer/scanner after mine broke, and I need some spending money this summer, so here we are! I am offering black and white sketch portrait commissions! Traditional art all hand drawn with some minimal digital polishing up!

Pricing:

Single character - $15 USD
Couple - $25 USD

I take payment via PayPal. If that doesn’t work for you, we can potentially work out something else (Amazon wishlist, MogStation items, in game gil and items on Balmung server, etc.) as long as the value at least meets my stated prices.

I am primarily interested in XIV/MMO characters because screenshots are super easy to work with. Please contact me for details!

Reblogs and sigboosts appreciated!

Sunday • 22.02.2015 • 12:50 Spending my day looking for printers to get for my birthday. No uni and no exams is seriously relaxing, plus work is super interesting right now. Kinda sad to go on vacation in a week, haha. In other news, does anybody have printer recommendations?
I really need one for the new semester, didn’t have one for the last 3 and reading assignments and notes off of my phone is becoming too much of a hassle.

Hopeless (Olicity future fic)

(The amazing andcreation suggested this dress for Felicity at her and Oliver’s engagement party.)

“And where is your bride-to-be?” Thea asked, sidling up next to Oliver where he stood at the bar. She already had a glass of champagne in hand, and the sparkling liquid perfectly complimented the soft gold floor-length dress she wore. She cocked her head. “You do know that the whole ‘wait to see each other’ thing only applies to the actual wedding, right?”

“Ha ha, Speedy,” Oliver replied, nodding his thanks when the bartender set his glass of scotch before him. He took a sip and turned back to face the ballroom.

It was already starting to fill up, he realized with a sinking stomach.

When Felicity had first mentioned an engagement party, this hadn’t been what he’d envisioned. He’d thought a simple party with friends and family, something where the main drink being passed around was beer and the only food was Diggle’s killer BBQ ribs.

Not this.
