If you have a lucid dream, do not commit any acts of violence against the things you meet

by reddit user professionalsuccubus

I had my first lucid dream at age nine.

I was in a decrepit neighborhood – rotting porches, peeling paint, Spanish moss hanging off dormers, the works. Mist swirled around my ankles as I walked slowly through the streets. Like an old video game, the horizon was both unchanging and unreachable.

I wandered around, in and out of the cobwebby houses. Although the streets were empty, the houses usually had a few ghosts floating around. There were a few children, but they were mostly old people, in various stages of decay. They never hurt me, nor did they speak. They just floated. Sometimes they’d follow me, but I never felt threatened.

the-queen-sees-all  asked:

I was wondering, what if Harry and Hermione had met before Hogwarts?

The first time Harry Potter met Hermione Granger, she was standing with her chin up and her hands on her hips a few paces from the old olive tree in the schoolyard, glaring into the far distance. The wind was trying to twist and buffet her hair into her face, but mostly it was just tangling cheerfully with itself.

Dudley and Piers were busy kicking all the other kids off the play structure, so Harry had retreated out into the grass. He stood a safe distance from the weird girl who was pretending to be a statue and thought wistfully of lunch.

“There’s a fallen bird’s nest,” the girl said in a rapid and certain tumble of syllables. “The boys knocked it out of the tree, but I chased them off and I’m hoping the mama bird comes back. I’m Hermione Granger. We just moved here.”

“Harry,” he said.

“How’d you get that scar?” she said.

“Car accident.”

“That’s a weird scar for a car accident.”

Harry shrugged. “It killed my parents.”

She blinked quickly at him and even at that distance he wished vaguely that she wore glasses, too, because her gaze was something that really felt like it should have some built-in bluntedness. “Mine are dentists. Mum’s taking me to the library after school, want to come?”

-

Before they went into Diagon Alley, Harry asked Hagrid if they could find a payphone. Hermione picked up on the first ring.

“Harry! Where have you been? I’ve been trying and trying to call–”

“Sorry, yeah. Um, so, I’m not coming back to school next year, I…” Harry drifted off, staring at Hagrid’s massive moleskin shoulders. The giant man saw him looking and gave him a tentatively cheerful little wave. “It’s been weird, Herm.” He pressed his forehead into the phone stand, but not too hard. “I think you’re the only thing I’m really going to miss.”

“Harry,” Hermione said and Harry started to frown, because that wasn’t her stern and startled voice. That was the voice that meant she was off down a charging war path of other thought and might not have heard him at all. “I’ve been reading.”

“Of course you’ve been reading,” he said. “I’ve been being forcibly hidden from a swarm of post office owls–”

“You’re in books,” she said in breathless delight, squeaking over the telephone line. “First thing we did, of course, after the professor explained, was get her to escort us to a bookstore– a whole bibliography, Harry, a whole world’s bibliography I haven’t even touched– how am I ever going to–” She took in a little calming breath, and murmured, “Different infinities, it’s okay, Hermione, okay.” A sharp exhale and then she tumbled right back into her rushing rivelet of a sentence. “And I picked up a good dozen, besides the school books, of course, and Harry, you’re in books, in Dark Wizardwork of This Century and A Modern Wizards’ History and October’s End: A Biography–”

“Hermione,” said Harry with slow enunciation. “Are you a wizard, too?”

“A witch, I think,” she said. “But I’m still reading up on the sociology of it all.”

-

Hagrid wouldn’t say Voldemort’s name, but Hermione would. She came over with a stack of books up to her chin, gave the Dursleys her normal pointed little stare that said she’d like to set them a little on fire, and curled up in his cupboard with him.

He supposed she probably could learn how to set them on fire, now, if she really wanted to.

She gave him passages and excerpts with his name in them, with his parents’ names, a home he hadn’t known. There were pictures of a ruined house with the smoke drifting in little curls of ink. There was his mother, smiling and waving in black and white. There was his mother, laid out on the floor, with a sober little caption below it. That picture was still, except for curtains fluttering in the window.

Hermione finally dragged her face far enough up from the pages to see Harry holding his own hand very tightly, and then she closed the book and reached for one about which magical creatures you should pet and which you shouldn’t.

“Sorry,” she said.

“I wanted to know.”

“I’m still sorry.”

The Grangers drove Harry, Hermione, Hedwig, and their trunks to King’s Cross Station. Mrs. Granger kissed the top of Hermione’s head while Mr. Granger mussed Harry’s mop of dark hair affectionately, and then they swapped children and repeated the treatment. Hermione pushed her hair back out of her face and marched them all to Platform 9 ¾, the entrance mechanism of which she had read all about.

“Before you go,” Mrs. Granger said, “let’s buy you some sandwiches? I don’t know what sort of food they’ll have past that–”

“There’s a trolley,” Hermione said, but her parents dragged them off to a snack kiosk anyway, Harry happily in tow.

As they were on Hermione’s tight schedule, there were plenty of compartments open, and they took one all to themselves– well, to themselves, Hedwig, and Hermione’s books, which took up two seats. (Harry would wheedle Hagrid into taking him to Diagon Alley for Christmas shopping that year, where he would get Hermione a carry-all bag for her small personal library.)

Hermione took a long preparatory breath while Harry unwrapped his sandwich. “Harry? What if I go and sit down under the Hat and I just sit and sit there, and then it says I’m not a witch at all?” Hermione said, the words getting more squashed together and higher-pitched as she went. “I’m not magic, it just got confused, and they send me home? Harry, I don’t want to be a dentist. Other people’s mouths are disgusting–”

“You’re not going to get kicked out,” Harry said, chewing amiably on his sandwich. It was not good, but the Dursleys hadn’t bothered with any breakfast for him and he hadn’t wanted to bother the Grangers about it either. It was a bit dry on the way down, but it settled warmly in his belly.

“But what if I do?”

“I’ll stage a protest,” said Harry. “Refuse to do my homework til they reinstate you.”

“You’re not going to do your homework anyway.”

“See how dedicated I am to you.”

She made a dismissive little noise at him, wringing her hands in her lap.

“Hermione,” he said, and she lifted her bush of hair to look at him. “You’re the most magical person I know. It’s gonna be alright.”

She gave a long slow blink but whatever she might have said was interrupted by an uneven knock at the door. “Um,” said the pudgy boy standing there. “I’ve lost my toad.”

Hermione leapt to her feet. “Where did you see him last?”

Harry followed in the wake of her forward charge, but he brought the rest of his sandwich with him.

-

(Harry did not know this and would not know this until Mrs. Granger mentioned it casually over a Christmas dinner years and years later– but she and Mr. Granger reported the Dursleys for child abuse and neglect, over and over.

The reports got lost– minds scrubbed down, papers vanished– but they kept calling in reports. They considered kidnapping. They couldn’t imagine why the wizarding world might want to keep their chosen one somewhere so toxic, why they might want to keep this underfed child and his messy hair with those people.

“My mother left me a blood protection spell,” said Harry, whose scar had not ached in years. He poked at his mashed potatoes under the focused attention of Mrs. Granger’s stern little forehead wrinkle. “I had to live with family, blood family.”

“Then they should have made them treat you right,” Mrs. Granger said, as though it was that simple.

Mr. Granger gave Harry another helping of peas.)

On the steps of Hogwarts, Draco Malfoy thrust out his hand to the Boy Who Lived, who surveyed the open palm with amusement. “Thanks,” said Harry. “But I think I can tell the wrong sort for myself.”

The redheaded, freckly, hand-me-down clothes boy Malfoy had been bothering snorted. Harry slipped his hands into his pockets.

“You’re the kid with the rat from the train,” Hermione said. “And the spell that didn’t work.”

“It was a cool rhyme anyway, though,” Harry said. “Hi, I’m Harry, this is Hermione.”

“Yeah, she said, then. I’m Ron– uh, Ron Weasley.”

“Yeah, he said,” Harry said, rolling his eyes Malfoy’s direction. “Come on, you wanna stand with us? Hermione will tell you about the ceiling.”

“It’s enchanted!” said Hermione.

-

When Hermione founded SPHEW, Harry was not surprised. He had spent too many schoolyard days escorting spiders to safe spaces, keeping vigil over fallen bird’s nests, and watching Hermione stand up on her desk chair in heated pitched verbal battles with teachers. She’d driven at least two teachers to tears and taught most of them at least a few new vocabulary words.

-

Over summers and holidays, Harry and Hermione took Ron to the movies, to the seashore, to Hermione’s top three favorite libraries. Hermione’s Aunt Meg taught them how to whittle under a cloud of cigarette smoke that clung to Harry’s hair until he washed it out.

In this life, there were things in the Muggle world that Harry missed, that he wanted to see again. He loved Hogwarts, and he nominally went home to the Dursleys each summer, but he knew he always had a bed at the Grangers’. He knew the weird system they used to organize the books on their shelves. He’d pass Mrs. Granger the marmalade in mornings before she had to ask. He got free dental check-ups all his life, which was good because the Dursleys rarely bothered taking him into the dentist.

The whole Granger family tore apart newspapers every morning, calling article excerpts across the table and pointing each other to their favorite journalists. Before Hermione even first stepped onto Hogwarts grounds she got a subscription to the Daily Prophet. During Harry’s fourth year, Mr. and Mrs. Granger got Arthur Weasley to buy them an owl and then began an unending campaign of furious letters to the editor that never got published.

In a crumbling boat shed, Severus Snape died, but first he pressed a shining bundle of memory into Harry’s hands.

The fight was still going– Neville newly broad and certain; Luna whipping out quiet, barbed little curses; Ginny charging like an army in and of herself. Hermione had her arms full of basilisk fangs. Ron was moving people like bishops and knights. But Harry had a long damp walk before him, so he had time to wade through that life not his own.

Severus had been a lot of things– one of them was in love. Harry dragged his feet through forest mulch, seeing a little redheaded girl in sunlight, hands not his own offering her transformed flowers. It had been just them for so long. For Severus, for so long, there had been no one but him and Lily.

Even in Hogwarts, Severus had drifted through the classrooms and common room and library. He had believed in magic, in the cool slide of good knives through dried roots, and in Lily– always, always in Lily– Lily in sunlight, Lily chewing on her thumbnail over Transfiguration homework, Lily flicking soapsuds at him in her kitchen at home over summer, Lily pig-tailed and seven, wide-eyed as he showed her the first magic she’d ever seen, a leaf to a flower, a bit of sunlight to a bit of fire.

He had loved, and it had been a real thing. He had fucked up, and it had been a real thing, that heartbreak, that regret.

When Harry turned the Stone in his hand and saw his mother step into pseudo-life in that forest clearing, he thought I wish I’d known you. He thought about how she was in sepia and gray, here, just like in the pictures in the pages of Hermione’s books.

But he was also thinking about Severus. He was remembering Lily in sunlight, remembering her walking away, remembering her in that same cold photographed sprawl but in color–in grief–in bruised knees and heaving gasps.

Severus had been the first to find Lily’s body and it had felt like someone had cut the sunlight out of him. Harry was living through that grief, but he was also living through the wail of the child crying unacknowledged. His tiny pudgy hands were wrapped around the guardrail of his crib.

Harry was thinking about a girl standing in a field like a statue, hands on hips. He was thinking about Hermione’s raised hand ignored in Potions, or the way Snape had sneered that he didn’t see a difference in her cursed teeth. Love had made him brave, perhaps. It had killed him, but it had not made Severus good.

Harry wondered if his mother would have escorted spiders to safe places, if she would have stood guard over fallen bird’s nests, if she had worried herself to pieces that first time on the Hogwarts Express about the Hat telling her she didn’t really belong.

“I wish I’d known you,” he told the specter of Lily Potter. He held his own hands tight.

For Harry, for so long, there had been no one but him and Hermione. Even in Hogwarts, there were things only she would understand– parking meters, the cobweb ceiling of his cupboard, the silence of marmalade at breakfast. Harry believed in magic and he believed Hermione Granger was the most magical thing he knew.

“They’ll be alright,” he said. “I’ll be alright. I was alright, mum. I wish I’d known you– but I wasn’t alone.” He squeezed his hands tighter– Hermione showing him her favorite spots in her favorite libraries; Ron shyly showing them the Burrow like it was anything less than a magnificent masterpiece of warm rooms and patchwork architecture; Hermione standing in the field like a statue, bushy-haired and seven years old, jaw set. “She wasn’t alone, either,” he said. “And she’ll be alright. Ron will be alright. I have to do this, don’t I?”

“We are so proud of you,” Lily said.

“Thanks,” said Harry. “Sorry,” said Harry, and wondered if Hermione was going to be able to read the little passages and excerpts with his name in them, with those un-moving pictures and the sober captions underneath.

He dropped the Stone.

When Harry Potter died for the first time, crumpled in forest mulch, he didn’t go to a squeaky clean King’s Cross Station. There were no crescent moon glasses to twinkle kindly at him.

He stood under an old olive tree and a little girl looked up at him with those eyes that needed shielding, needed blunting, needed a manufacturer’s warning. “A wind’s coming,” she said. “You can just go. It will be easy.”

He stood outside Diagon Alley, a Muggle payphone tucked between his shoulder and ear. “You’re in books,” she said, with a breathlessness he’d barely heard for years. There had been too much weight on his shoulders, on hers. “You’re done,” she said. “You’ve done enough. Go on, tap three bricks up and two to the left.”

He stood in Godric’s Hollow, in the snow, holding her hand, looking at the ruined house. “You should have had this,” she said. She was seven and small, not nineteen and weary like she had been in life. The sky was overcast but there was sunlight glinting in her hair. “You can still have this. You can have everything.”

“You’re not real,” Harry said.

“But you are,” she said. “There’s a wind coming. It will be easy.”

“You’ve never done anything easy in your life,” he said.

She took both his hands– hers were so small against his grown fingers, his broad palms, and how had they done everything with hands that small? Basilisks and werewolves; shouting down teachers from atop desk chairs.

Harry was sitting in his cupboard in the light of its single bulb and he was too big for this space, his shoulders curling forward, his head bowing. She was standing there with sunlight still in her hair and her arms piled high with books. “You don’t belong here,” she said. “It will hurt. You won’t fit, if you go back. Everything can be easy. Everything can be fine. It doesn’t have to hurt, ever again.”

“Hermione,” he said and leaned forward, put his hands on her hands where they were gripping her books. “It’ll be alright.” He smiled and she was staring at him with those eyes, those goddamn eyes. “We never fit, remember?”

“We tried,” she said and Harry squeezed her small hands gently.

“Send me back,” he said. “I want to go home.”

-

After the battle, as Hogwarts rang with frantic healing, crushing grief, and raging celebration, the three of them retreated to the library. Hermione hauled them down narrow aisles until she found her favorite tucked-away nook and they all collapsed on sagging sofas that seemed to not have been touched at all by the war.

“Well,” said Hermione. “What now?”

Ron let his head flop back against the seat, hair tumbling all over his pale forehead. “I’m going to nap,” he said. “For a month.”

“That’s not physiologically possible,” said Hermione. “Or if it is, then it’d be a coma.”

“It’s a metaphor,” Ron said, then: “no, wait, a hyperbole.” Hermione beamed at him. He blushed a little and elbowed her gently.

“After this, you’ll be in books, you know,” Harry told her.

“Not– I mean–” Hermione rubbed at her nose furiously. Ron laughed enough to wake up and sit up, throwing an arm around her shoulders.

While Ron came up with outlandish titles for Hermione’s eventual many biographies, Harry pulled his feet up onto the sofa. He watched the candles float quietly between the shelves.

my college dorm packing list:

the school year’s winding down here, and I know a lot of you are about to start your first year of college. sometimes, this involves moving into a dorm, and there are so many dorm packing lists out there that tell you about so many “”necessities.”” this really easily gets overwhelming, so here’s the list of things that I have in my dorm right now that I really appreciate having!

bedding:

  • two sets of sheets - make sure they’re the right size for the bed (often dorm beds are twin xl). i got two sets which included a pillow case, fitted sheet, and regular sheet. sometimes, the ‘college’ sets have pockets on the sides of the fitted sheets which can be super useful, esp if you decide to loft your bed!
  • pillows - when I was buying dorm stuff, i had the designer dorm room in mind (which is the goal for a lot of people when shopping, but it’s not super easy to attain. just stick to what works for u!). this, for me, involved pillows. i have 2 normal pillows (either i sleep on both or i alternate them out so no one of them gets too flat), and a smaller, soft decor pillow (i use this mostly to block up the space between the bed and the wall so my other pillows don’t fall off when i use them as a backrest haha), and a fourth, white fluffy square pillow (this one just looked cute, but i ended up using it as a desk chair cushion bc my chair didn’t come with one, it’s been a lifesaver!!)
  • comforter (tbh it’s always so hot in my dorm room that i hardly use this, and mostly just stick to the sheets haha, but it’s definitely important in winter)
  • extra blankets - just a couple lighter ones i use when i just wanna curl up or when i don’t need something as heavy as a comforter
  • foam mattress pad - !!!!! cannot stress this one enough. it makes my bed so comfortable. my dorm bed is now nicer than my home bed. i 100% recommend getting one of these (and make sure its the thick sheet of foam, not those weird cloth ones that make you feel weird when you touch it haha)

desk:

  • desk chair cushion (mentioned above) - wait until you see your room for this one, your desk chair might already have a cushion. if it doesn’t, get something to use as one. your butt will thank you, and it’ll make it so much easier to study. (also some people i know wanted to get their own desk chair - the rolly cushy kind - so if that’s what you want, go for it!)
  • desk lamp! - if you’re like me, you’ll stay up hours later than your roommate, and you need to be able to see. the kind i got was actually given away free from my uni, but it has usb ports and 3 different levels of intensity for the light itself, so it’s really nice!
  • cups/pen holders - stay organized. i brought a mug for this and ended up getting a few free cups at giveaways, and vases from flowers and things like that that I use to hold the pens on my desk.
  • misc desk organizers - to keep your study space put together and to keep all your stuff in a decent place (it’s so easy to lose things, even in such a small space)

closet/clothes storage:

  • hangers - i just got a couple packages (about 24 total i think?) which ended up being the perfect amount for me
  • sweater organizer shelves thing - these are everywhere at stores for dorm shopping. it’s basically a stack of box shelves. they also have drawers you can get for them, but i don’t have any of those. i just stuff my sweaters/cardigans/sweatshirts/extra sheets in there, it’s nice and saves a lot of closet space!

shower/hygiene supplies:

  • towels - i got 4 towels, just so i don’t have to do laundry as often. it ended up being a good amount for me. also a lot of people i know have washcloths, which wasn’t something i thought about but is a good idea if you use them!
  • shower caddy - a necessity! i use one of the bag ones, instead of the plastic ones, and i’ve heard a lot of people with the hard plastic ones wishing they had the mesh bag type (but obvs u do u)
  • dry shampoo - super useful for when you didn’t get a chance to shower and want to at least try to look a bit more cleaned up
  • laundry detergent - pretty straightforward. also hamper/laundry bag/dryer sheets/whatever else you need to get ur clothes clean (also stock up on quarters if you have to pay per load)

misc:

  • hobby supplies - i do a lot of crocheting/brush lettering/reading, whatever your hobbies are, you’ll wanna do them, so keep stuff in your room for it
  • wall calendar/white board calendar - useful for planning and remembering important dates (also i use this to keep up w what my roomie has going on bc we don’t talk about that sorta thing a whole lot but it’s nice to know when she’ll be back/out of the room/whatever)
  • whiteboard - i have a bigger wall mounted one, but i use it for assignment/meeting reminders and also as a study tool for before exams. plus it’s fun to doodle on when i really don’t feel like doing anything  haha
  • string lights - sure, they’re a classic dorm cute thing, but they’re also useful when you want just enough light to see, but not enough to keep your roommate up or be distracting. i use mine all the time, plus it makes the room feel more warm and homey!
  • i also have a 10 foot long phone charger which is my heart and soul i love it sm it’s so useful bc i plug it in under my bed in the corner and not only reaches up to my bed, but also over to my desk. 10/10 would recommend.

andreil in a hospital?

One of the things Andrew has recently grown more comfortable with is touch. He still doesn’t love it, won’t accept it from most people, but thanks to the cats he’s less likely to jump or default to his knives if something brushes against his legs.

Which is good, because even though the apartment is empty other than them and King definitely prefers Neil, she’s snaking between Andrew’s legs anyway. He stoops slightly to brush her back with one hand—he doesn’t indulge them the way Neil does, but Neil isn’t here to see it, and the cats can’t talk, so ultimately, no harm done.

He needs to stop thinking about Neil so much when Neil isn’t here. It’s a normal occurrence—they both live in Chicago, but they play for rival teams, so their schedules aren’t perfectly lined up. Neil is in Washington this weekend for a game, and Andrew has a home game against Kansas City.

Andrew’s phone vibrates—undoubtedly a text from Neil. He opens it immediately and thinks about how unlikely he is to ever admit to anyone how much he misses Neil. Except for maybe Neil himself, and only if he was on his deathbed or something.

Neil’s text reads, good luck tonight! and is accompanied by a selfie of him and Dan. Cute.

*

The game is a brutal one, even from between the goalposts. Andrew takes a nasty hit during a brawl early on but doesn’t get benched until the second half, when a fourth ball clatters hard enough against his helmet to leave his vision swimming.

He resolutely does not check the score for Neil’s game—he’ll find out via phone call as soon as it ends anyway, or else a reporter will ask him about it as they leave or someone will announce it to the entire court (crosstown rivals and all that)—and so it’s not until his phone suddenly explodes with messages and tweets that he knows something has happened.

A call breaks through it—from one Dan Wilds, who is currently with Neil, which must have something to do with his phone being swamped with notifications—and he manages to answer it before it, too, disappears into the mess.

“What is it?” he says.

“Andrew? You good?”

He hates niceties and small talk, especially when they get in the way of his finding out necessary information. “Where is Neil?”

Being Harry Potter’s girlfriend had it advantages and disadvantages. The good part was the loyal friends you got by your side and the bad…well the bad are the slytherins always trying to offend you somehow. Well, they were mostly hostage toward Harry not me but the fact I was ready to kill everybody who had said something bad about him was enough for a way the others to mockery him.

But besides the bad attitude we got in fifth year, I was more than happy to be with him. Half of the school thought he was a liar, a boy wanting an attention and I were just a chick using him to become famous and so on. However, Harry never paid so much attention to those words but I did. I tried not to but it was hurting to hear such lies. Harry was so nice to stay hours after curfew to calm me down, to say he loved me and that’s all that mattered. He even said that if I wanted we would break up so he could see my smile again. I, of course, punched him slightly always exclaiming that he was much more important than some stupid students.

We were going to Hogsmeade on dates, drinking butterbeers, shopping at Zonko’s, we basically tried everything there for such a short period. I did my best to stay focused when helping him with his homework but usually ended making out on the sofa in the common room. That led to an angry Hermione who didn’t skip an opportunity to remind us we were falling behind with it. But let’s come to the present where the interesting part is.

Today was just an ordinary Saturday. We had finally finished another rough week. Early in the morning I woke up and after dressing up, I headed towards the library. There was an hour till breakfast so I decided to spend it while searching information for Snape’s essay.

“Hey (Y/N)! Why are you awake so early?”, Hermione’s voice ranged through the empty library.

“I just want to get something done. I don’t want to fall and spending time with Harry isn’t helping me.”, smiling I sat down next to her.

“You managed to find the truth! Only for that I will lend you my notes, but don’t tell the boys.”, we both laughed and after promising I would not each one of us continued her work.

“If we don’t hurry we will miss the breakfast. Come on.”, I packed my things and with my friend we exited the room going straight to the Great Hall.

There weren’t a lot of people but our boys were already on the Gryffindor table. Harry was reading something while Ron was eating…a lot, as usual. A smirked appeared on my face as I went to my boyfriend as quiet as I could. He was facing me with his back so I used this opportunity to cover his eyes, well specifically his glasses. The boy jumped due to being surprised. His hands left the newspaper and touched mine trying to identify the person messing with him.

“(Y/n)!”, my boyfriend exclaimed seconds later and turned around to face me. There was a smile on his face which caused me to smile, too. I sat down next to him placing a kiss on his cheek.

“Don’t tell me you are still reading those lies.”, I took the newspaper from his hands but Hermione did the same to me, making the research instead of us.

“Well, you were late, so we had to take it.”

“You two are disgusting.”, Ron noted as he continued to eat.

“You will be too when you find a girl, oh my pardon, if you find a girl.”, Hermione retorted as she closed the paper and put it in her back.

We all laughed while Ron gave Granger a dead look.

“What are we doing tonight?”, although it seemed as an ordinary question, it wasn’t. Since some weeks, we were training spells in out secret group, or so called D.A.

“We have a studying session at 8 pm. as always (Y/n), how can you forget about it?”

“Oh, sorry Harry but when I see you I forget everything.”, we usually played this game of being so in love only to make no suspicions but we did enjoyed it, it always amused us.

After we finished our lunch we went to the lake. The weather was fantastic and neither one of us wanted to spend the whole day locked in the castle. We sat down next to a tree trying to stay in its shadow and began doing our homework. I can’t say we desired to do it but there was a trip to Hogsmeade tomorrow and I didn’t want to miss it because of stupid two meters long essays. Harry and Ron were complaining instead of working, Hermione used her energy to quarrel with Ron while I and Harry laughed at their ‘family problems’. The time was passing by and soon dinner came. After we were done, we agreed to go to the Required room separated so Umbridge won’t be able to catch us.

“What are you going to teach me today, Mr. Potter?”, I teased my boyfriend as we were heading towards our wanted direction.

“Someone is eager for knowledge? You should spend less time with Hermione.”

“Oh, shut up!”, I punched him slightly and laughed, “You are just jealous that I’m coping with school, while you might be failing.”

“That huts. That’s it! You made me cry, what kind of a girlfriend are you?”

“Come here and let me kiss you, you’ll feel better.”, leaning closer we shared a kiss that would had definitely turned out in a heated one if it wasn’t somebody’s cough to make us separate.

“Hey there lovebirds! You can continue that later, we have a work now.”, Fred Weasley smirked and entered the Required room. We followed his actions.

This time Harry showed us some others spells. I was with Neville who surprisingly was doing much better than me. I was doing well to be honest, practicing with Ginny, Ron, Harry, but maybe like 30 minutes later I didn’t fail to notice something. Cho Chang, a ravenclaw girl Harry used to like in his fourth year, was now watching my boyfriend carefully, trying to get his attention. That made me mad and that’s why I got hit my Neville’s spell that paralyzed me for a moment.

“I hit her, I did it!”, Neville screamed at top of his lungs happily, “Sorry (Y/n).” He then came closer and helped me stand.

“No problems. I am happy you did it, Neville.”, he was so happy that I couldn’t tell him I wasn’t paying enough attention to block the spell.

No matter what I did afterwards was, to put it mildly, horrible. I tried to practice but my eyes were glancing and Cho and Harry. I knew he was helping her but I didn’t like she was doing poor just for his attention. Harry was observing everybody and when he saw my actions he came closer and gave Neville time for a rest.

“What’s going on? Are you okay?”, I could read the care in his eyes and it made me feel a little better. Besides everything Harry was with me, not with her.

“I’m fine now.”

“If you wanted to train with me you could have just asked.”

Till the end of the lesson I was actually getting more and more capable of using the new spells. Deep inside me I felt pleasure to show Cho I was better that her. When the ‘class’ was over we were heading out by three. I wanted to stay and help Harry to clean but he refused, telling I’d better go and rest. I listened to him and left the room with Hermione and a tall Hufflepuff boy. We were already on the stairs when I realized I had forgotten my barrette.

“Wait for me, I’ll be back in a minute.”, after notifying Hermione I ran upstairs.

The door was slightly open. Cursing the stupid people who left it that way I entered the room but stopped where I was. My eyes widen when I saw Harry and Cho kissing in front of me. She had put one of her hands on his face, while Harry had placed his hands on her both sides. My eyes were filled with tears by now.

“How could you?”, was the only thing my mouth let out. I felt a strange feeling in my throat, not letting me to breathe or talk anymore. Harry and Cho jumped away from each other, both looking at me as a deer looking at the headlights coming towards her.

“(Y/n), I-”

“Don’t!”

I exited the room and ran in some direction not caring where I was going. Suddenly I felt somebody grabbing my hand and spinning me around. It was Harry with his messy hair and sad face.

“Stop.”, he said softly.

“Let me go, please. Let me go!”, I managed to find my voice again and screamed at him.

“It’s not what it seems.”

“Oh, really? Because it seems you still love Cho and was messing with me the whole time!”, he didn’t know what to say, he did try but nothing came out, “Have you ever loved me, Harry? Have you?”

“Of course I have, I still do.”

“Do not lie to me! Do not!”, licking his lips, the boy was about to talk but I interrupted him, “I cannot believe you used me like this.”

“I-I didn’t, I-”

“Are you sure because stuttering like this now shows me I am right.”, I bit my lips trying to prevent the others tears to roll down my face, “Look at me, look at my eyes and say you did not use me to forget Cho or to fucking make her jealous! Look at me for god’s sake and say it!”

But the boy was still looking at his feet ashamed.

“I loved you, Harry. Everything I have ever said was true. I showed you my feelings, I gave you my heart…and for what? To be your little toy!? To be the girl you would go to if Cho didn’t like you back?! To be the second option?! Fuck you Harry!”, I screamed at his face, spun around on my heels and attempted to get away from him.

“No, (Y/n), wait!”

“Don’t you dare touch me again or call me, Potter. Don’t you dare!”, this time my voice was low, almost calmly but I felt how he trembled from it. I didn’t mean to threaten him but his presence was no longer wanted around me.

After minutes of walking I ended in the Astronomy tower. I sat down and let myself cry out all the pain inside me. How could he do this to me? I believed him when everybody thought he was a liar, I was beside him every time he was bullied…and what did I get? A knife in the back! As I was sobbing a voice spoke beside me.

“I see there are troubles in heaven, huh?”

“What do you want Draco? I am not in the mood for your stupid jokes”, but as soon as I turned to face him, his expression changed. With some steps he came next to me and kneeled down.

“Hey, hey. I’m sorry, I didn’t think it was that serious.”, he spoke with a soft and caring voice, something I’d never thought I would hear from him.

“Don’t act as you care.”

“I do care if you haven’t noticed, darling.”

Looking at him, especially at his eyes, some moments ran through my mind. He had always been good to me, never saying bad about me, helping me in Potions, not gloating when I fail… For the first time I felt I could tell him what happened, what I was feeling and he would care about it. All those small details were showing something deeper and complicated to be explained.

“I-Ha-Harry cheated on m-me.”, saying those words out made me sob again. Draco wrapped his hand around me, getting me closer for a hug.

“Hey, look at me.”, with his forefinger he lifted my chin up so now I was facing him, “He doesn’t deserve your tears.” He remover some of them, “He doesn’t deserve your love. You have to stand up, smile and show him what he has missed. Show him you are happier without him. You are the one who deserves better – somebody who would do anything for you, and by anything I really mean anything. You are so kind, funny, just amazing. I cannot explain it but each time I see you, my mood changes. I become more gleeful just because of hearing your voice, laugh or seeing the spark of joy in your eyes. You deserve somebody that can make you feel the same way you make me feel… ”

Without thinking I leaned closer and connected our lips. The kiss was salty due to my tears but was enough to make me feel butterflies in my stomach. I didn’t feel it only with my body; I felt it with my soul. It warmed me up, made me feel loved. That kiss wasn’t like the kisses I’d shared with Harry. It was kind of passionate but showing things that could hardly be explained even from the hand of a skillful poet. It was something not to read about but to feel it.

“I’ve never thought you could be showing such emotions.”

“Love makes miracles with everybody, darling.”, he smiled and leaned for another kiss.

Dracoxreader smut Summary: You two are from different houses (i used ravenclaw here, but any other will do) and dont particularly like each other or get along at all. things get steamy one drunk night when all word filters are out of the picture. Warnings: biting kink (and smut, duh). Enjoy ;)

The unbearably long day was slowly nearing to an end with only one class left. Naturally, it was one with the Slytherins. It was agonizing. You couldn’t avoid exchanging a few offensive swear words every time you ran into any of them in the halls. The worst was with Malfoy, the vain boy, proud of his heritage to an extent. It wasn’t until the fourth year that we had actually spoken a word to each other. Before that, it was only brisk eye contacts, his orbs sparkling with disgust. Then, one day I decided to let my mouth outrun my brain as I sad to him: “You don’t have to act like an arsehole if you don’t really want to, you know? Nobody is going to think less of you if you skip voicing your rather unnecessary opinion once in a while.” It was on a Wednesday like this one, the Charms class we had together had just ended. Draco had made a snarky remark on one of my housemate’s ‘ridiculous performance in the simplest charms’. The whole room was dead silent as i finished my sentence. He directed me a glare filled with wrath and said something that would’ve got me detention for a week hadn’t my friends held me back. “Why don’t YOU do everyone a favor and take your ugly presence elsewhere? I would suggest the sewers, where you’d fit in nicely,” that disgusting smirk of victory dancing on his too pale face.

"Stiff wiseacre.“ Draco’s voice rang through my ears as he pushed me away to enter the classroom first. My response rolled off my tongue immediately. “Bleached arsehole.” He turned around, staring at me intensely and would have surely directed me a couple more swear words before Flitwick entered the room and asked us to take our seats. “Why don’t you two just snog already,” my friend whispered as we sat down. “Excuse me?” My eyebrows furrowed and the corners of my mouth turned downwards in distress. “Oh please, Y/N. The sex tension between you two is flaming.” “I fucking hate him.” “You might as well hold a giant banner saying ‘sex tension’ the second you two as much as look at each other.” “You’re gonna make me vomit, will you, for the love of God, just stop?” And she did, snickering to herself when the professor started talking.

Later that week, I sat in the Great Hall eating dinner. Much to my dismay, I couldn’t help but let my mind slip into thoughts about Draco. Ever since Jean had drawn my attention to the apparent sexual tension going on, I wouldn’t stop thinking about it. In class my eyes would linger a bit too long on his neck, tracing his smooth skin before I shake my head, snapping out of my bubble. My cheeks would heat up and my palms would get sweaty if he caught me gazing at his lips. “I hate him, what the hell is going on,” I murmured to myself, my words getting lost into the noise of the room. As I lifted my stare I saw Draco strutting to the Slytherin table. My insides twitched when he ran his hand through his sleek hair and connected our gazes. I quickly looked away, a little less discreetly than I wanted to. “I’m finished. You going,”I asked Jean standing up from my chair. “Yeah, I’m coming.”

Before I was ready, another Wednesday rolled around. I caught myself anxiously excited to be able to stare at the young Malfoy from the back of the room. I was standing in front of the classroom with my friends as his voice rang through my ears: “Geek fest, is it?” I felt intense heat rise in me, travelling all the way to my face. I turned to him, opening my mouth to direct him a couple of insults, but my words got stuck in my throat and all I managed to do is cough. The smirk he had playing on his lips disappeared for a second, expressing his confusion, but returned soon enough. Draco walked backwards to the classroom, his eyes piercing through me. All I could do was stare at him and his perfect blue orbs as well. “What the hell was that?” I turned to my friends, every single one of them giving me confused looks.

“Are you going to that party,” Jean asked me about a week later. We were sitting in the Ravenclaw common room, my nose buried in a Potions book. “What party,” I replied without so much as lifting my gaze. “The one that seventh-year girl invited us to. Remember?” “Yeah, I’m not going.”

“Seriously? Why not?” She sounded irritated.

“I don’t know. This whole house unity people are trying to achieve sounds too good to be true. Plus, what if somebody catches us?”

“Oh come on, you are being paranoid, Y/N. You’re going. There will be alcohol.” She ended the last sentence in a sing-song voice.

“Even worse. I don’t want to go, Jean. Will the Slytherins be there?”

“I don’t know. Why?”

The way my cheeks started burning every time there was even an insinuation Draco was going to come up in a conversation started to annoy me. “I’m just trying to avoid unnecessary contact with them.”

Her eyes narrowed. “Is this about Malfoy?”

“What? What about him.” My words were shaky and too rushed.

“Oh Merlin, it is! When did this start? This is so exciting. It’s like in the books! Worst enemies fall for each-”

Stop,” I yelled standing up, “you’re making this up, just like you made up the ‘sexual tension’.” I air quoted the last words.

“That is easily the biggest lie I’ve ever heard. You are totally whipped.”

“Shut up. Are you hearing yourself?! This is Malfoy we’re talking about!”

“Okay, so prove it. Come to the party.”

“Bet your ass I’m going to.”

***

The hall echoed as my shoes hit the stone floor. I reached the Room of Requirement and joined the group of fellow Ravenclaws standing in front of it, elicting a couple of whistles from my friends. “Wow, Y/N. Who’s this all for?” “Hmm, I don’t know,” I said in a playful voice,”certainly not for you Theo.” I avoided Jean’s gaze as people laughed at my remark.

We entered the party, the Room of Requirement now spacious, decorated and already crowded. Sofas and chairs were scattered all over. “Welcome guys,” a seventh-year Griffindor yelled over the music,”make yourselves at home!” I grabbed myself a glass of Firewhiskey  and searched the room as I took a swig. My heart jumped when I saw Malfoy standing against a wall with a drink in his hand. My eyes then fell on a girl he was talking to. She was beautiful and obviously  very interested in him. “Stop,” I mumbled into my chin, trying to get rid of the undeniable feeling of jealousy growing inside. “Hey, Y/N! We’re starting a game of spin the bottle. Wanna join?” “No thanks. Maybe later.” “I’m sure your Slytherin prince will be playing,” Jean whispered, making sure nobody else heard. “And I’m sure I do not care,” I said through gritted teeth,”see you later Jean. Have fun.” “Okay. Right back at you.” She winked at me. I hated how right she was, how much I wished he would ditch that Slytherin girl and got his ass over here and pinned me to the cold wall. How much I wanted his hands everywhere… ‘Oh God, please stop,’ I thought rubbing my temple. ‘You don’t have a chance anyway.’

My gaze was fixed on him. No matter how hard I tried, my stares, my thoughts, everything kept going back to him, as I went to get another drink, as I talked to other people, as I tried to dance. Finally, Theo came up to me, offering me a cigarette. “One of the Muggle-borns smuggled some for us.” I gladly took one. Lighting it quickly with his lighter. It was a guilty pleasure. My eyes shot in Malfoy’s direction once again. Theo turned. “Who are you eyeing tonight?” “No one,” I said quickly.

I leaned against a wall, blowing smoke through my lips slowly. I didn’t even try to break my habit of glancing at the alluring blond boy across the room, only this time finding his stare on me. I quickly shifted, trying to look everywhere except in his direction, taking another drag. “Here, take the whole pack. We have more over there. Now, if you’ll excuse me, some fine birds are waiting to be caged by this beauty.” “Mhmm,” I barely listened to him, snatching the cigarettes from his hand.

I couldn’t shake the magnetic need to eye Draco. I took an upset smoke when I saw him pushing himself of the wall and leaning to the girl’s ear to whisper something, touching her shoulder in the process. Then everything felt frozen, slow and cold when Draco’s darkened blue orbs pierced through me, his tall figure making his way over. My fingertips tingled, adrenaline shooting through my body. He took his time, walking slowly and arrogantly and I almost forgot how to stand and what to do with my hands. After what felt like an eternity, Malfoy lessened the distance and leaned next to me against the wall. We didn’t say anything as I took a drag and blew it out tediously slowly.

“You know,” he started, looking straight ahead,”people say it’s rude to stare.” My heart raced out of my chest, I cleared my throat soundlessly in a poor attempt to keep my composure. “Really?” He finally turned his head to me, but I stood still, desperately trying to look cool smoking my cigarette. “Yeah. But sometimes,” Draco leaned forward, letting his breath skim over my skin,”it can be quite flattering.” For a few seconds I allowed myself to be frozen, a breath stuck in my throat, before I snapped out of it. “That’s really great for you, Malfoy.” He chuckled, sending shivers down my spine. “That’s the first time I ever heard you say my name.” I could practically feel the stupid grin on his face. I rolled my eyes, taking another drag.

He leaned in even more, his lips now dangerously close to my ear. “Are we going pretend I didn’t just catch you staring at me 20 times in the past 5 minutes?” His voice came out as a whisper. With sudden courage exploding in me, I looked him in the eyes, an orgasmic feeling buzzing in my head. ‘He totally wants this too.

“So what are you going to do about it, Malfoy?” “I love the way you say that.” Draco’s hand touched my hip, then slid to rest on the small of my back. I took in a loud shaky breath, dropping what little was left of my cigarette to the floor. “I don’t know,” he came back to answering my question,”I might ask you to join me outside so we can talk about this.” I  peered into his eyes again, quickly dropping my gaze to his lips. “Talk?” My voice was slow and hoarse and I could swear I saw a flash of satisfaction explode in his blue orbs.

Draco’s cold hand found my wrist and he pulled me towards the door. There wasn’t a speck of me that tried or wanted to protest. We were out of the room in a matter of seconds and, before I was ready, his hands were on my hips, pinning me hard to the wall. I let out a quiet squeal, closing my eyes. Draco leaned in, me expecting him to kiss me, but instead started tracing my jawline with his scorching lips. He reached my neck and kissed it with pressure, earning an ‘oh God’ from me. I could feel him smile into my skin before he continued. It was so slow and bursting with lust. My everything was burning and I tangled my hands into Draco’s hair and tugged, adding a small hip roll over him. The Slytherin released a loud moan into my neck, finally pulling back to connect our lips.

The kiss was filled with need and passion and I surprised myself when I broke it to ask:”Is your dorm empty?” His eyes searched my face for a second, before adding a smirk. “We’ll find out.”

The trip to the Slytherin dorms was brisk, with a few short kisses shared along the way. He made me block my ears as he said the password and we were up the stairs is seconds. Draco smiled when we discovered the dorm was, in fact, empty. He pulled out his wand and murmured a couple of spells. “What are you doing?” “I’m locking the door,” he said too harshly,”I thought you Ravenclaws were supposed to be smart.” “Shut up,” I replied, holding back a smile. “I also cast a silencing spell for you.”

A jolt of heat shot through me, going straight to my pussy. His hands slid from my back to my ass as he pushed me towards his bed, my shirt and tie lost in the process. My knees hit the edge of the bed and I grabbed his own tie pulling him into a wet, hot kiss. I fell onto the bed, followed with Draco landing on top of me, a bulge very apparent in his pants. I used this opportunity to grind up on him, enticing another throaty moan, him following my actions and rolling his hips creating friction. My hands worked on his tie and shirt before discarding them and tracing his chest and abs, finding their way to his belt. I went a little lower, stroking him over the fabric.

“Oh God, what you do to me,” he whispered after a loud shaky breath, making me shudder. I was gone in the moment. I wanted to let go and simply let Draco take care of me. “Bite me.” My voice was barely audible, whispered into his warm lips. He froze his actions. “Excuse me?” I bit his lip slowly and tenderly. Draco’s eyes  were fixed on mine as he got the memo. He smiled slightly and compiled, starting first on my own lips, then transitioning to my neck. I barely noticed when the Slytherin’s hand started sneaking down my side, finding its way to the button of my pants. It slid over my underwear with ease, applying little pressure. I exhaled harshly and screamed his last name. My back arched as Draco applied more pressure, rubbing up and down.

His bites became more intense and sloppier and I swear I almost came two minutes into our make out. My fingers tangled into his hair and pulled a little, earning a small moan from the blond. I didn’t stop crying out his name, the last cry followed by:”Oh my God, I’m close.”

Draco slowed down his actions and pulled back to look at me. “Enjoying yourself?” His long fingers rubbed my clit painfully slow and I let out a stressed moan. “What was that?” His voice was smug and sweet. “Malfoy, please.” He was incredibly amused as he observed the way I melted under the slightest touch of his.

“Please what?” I cried out in annoyance. “Hmm?” He hummed right into my ear. “Please go down on me.” “As you wish.”

I wasn’t prepared when Draco pulled my pants down abruptly and planted small kisses on the inside of my thigh, before pulling down my underwear as well and I certainly wasn’t prepared when he lifted me up with ease and flipped me. He placed me to sit on his face. Draco took his time actually getting to the task, kissing and licking everywhere but where I needed him. He finally licked up my slit and I cried out his name. His skilled tongue worked me like a drug as I quickly became a moaning mess trapped under his control.

“Fuck, Malfoy. Fuckfuckfuck.” One of his cold, eager hands held my hip as the other slowly slithered in my folds. I lost all power and began shaking, feeling my orgasm creeping up.

Draco stopped and slid under me. “What are you doing,” I asked turning my head to look at him. The blond took of his pants, leaving him only in his boxers. I felt his hands skim over my skin and then rest on my stomach as he hugged me from behind. “Tell me how much you want me right now.” “Overmuch.” He shot shivers down my spine when he chuckled. “Only after you tell me how good I make you feel.” I groaned and leaned my head back on his shoulder. Draco’s hands unhurriedly slid down to my core, rubbing grievously slow circles on my clit.

“So?” “I have never been turned on like this in my life.” “And?” “And you drive me crazy.” He surprised me by kissing my cheek before sliding his boxers down and started slowly pushing into me. The both of us cried out. “Faster,” I said eagerly and he pushed into me the rest of the way vigorously. “Oh my God, Draco!” He sped up his actions, pumping me as I followed grinding my hips.

I struggled with my breath and screamed and moaned, slipping in quite a few curse words. “Thank Merlin for that silencing spell, huh,” he whispered to me and I felt I was close.

Draco’s fingers started working on my clit again and I couldn’t take it anymore. “Fuck, I’m coming,” I cried as I leaned back into him. After a couple of pumps Draco came as well, biting into my shoulder.

We fell onto his bed exhausted and I slid under the covers, laying on my back. “Wow. Who would’ve thought..,” Draco said. He was laying on his side, propped up on his elbow. I turned my head to him. “What?” “I really didn’t think you’d be so good at this,” he said in his usual Malfoy manner, sounding kinda vain. “Oh yeah? I didn’t think it was that special,” I teased. “Oh please. I destroyed you,” he chuckled.

***

I opened my sore eyes, blinking a few times to get used to the harsh light in the room. I shot up as I remembered last night’s events and realized that it’s already morning. “Shitshitshit.” I got up, still completely naked and started putting on my clothes. “Mmm I could get used to seeing this in the morning,” I heard Draco’s voice behind me. “Shut the hell up, Malfoy! We’re going to be late for class!” He groaned and rubbed his face.

I made sure I picked up all my things and stormed out the door. Halfway down the stairs I stopped and ran back upstairs. I found Draco already putting on his shirt. “Hey arsehole,” I said,”see you later.” He smiled and before he got to say anything, I was already running down the stairs again.

I stormed into the dark Potions classroom and mumbled an apology. When I sat down next to Jean and looked up, I could see everybody glancing at me. “Y/N,” Jean whisper-shouted. “What?”

“You’re wearing a Slytherin tie.”

#SherlockLives: The Resurrection

The day is April 23rd, 2017.  It’s an ordinary Sunday afternoon in London.

The crowd bustles, trains whirr, birds chirp.

Life in the city is business as usual.

Three teenage girls take photographs outside 187 North Gower Street, soaking in the ambiance of the Sherlock set.  They step into Speedy’s for a cup of coffee.

The women lament over the loss of their favorite show. On March 8th, the BBC announced Sherlock would not be returning for a fifth series, and cowriters Steven Moffat and Mark Gatiss were quick to assure their fans that it was time to lay the beloved program to rest.

But what the women saw next changed their lives forever.

{Playlist} Parts: one | two | three | four | five | six | seven |eight | nine | ten | eleven | twelve

It was August 20th, the first day of senior year. You were pretty excited, you honestly felt this was going to be a great year. You guess you were also happy this was the last year of high school. You got up and turned off your alarm. Your phone read, 7:15. You’d only lived a couple of  minutes away from school, so you could afford to sleep in a little more.

You got up and grabbed your uniform out of your closet. Yet another reason to be excited about this school year, you only had to wear this god awful thing one more year. You got dressed and went to the bathroom, going through your morning routine. Once you were done and ready you grabbed your backpack and headed downstairs. You went into the kitchen and saw your mom and dad eating breakfast.

Your dad looked up from the paper, “Y/N, look at you. You’re up before noon, how does that feel,” his smile was contagious.

“Forced,” You smiled.

He laughed and went back to his paper. “Y/N,” your mom spoke.

“Yes ma'am?”

She walked over to the table handing you two paper sacks. “Your and Yoongi’s lunch for today.”

You smiled and looked up at her, “Thanks Mom.”

“Sure,” she spoke as she sat down at the table. You’d started to eat some toast that was on the table when Yoogi rushed in.

“Sorry I’m late,” Yoongi shouted from the hallway as he came into the kitchen.

I remember their second hug.

I remember Rachel making a room full of her closest friends and family wait because she didn’t want to get married without Quinn.

I remember ON MY WAY.

I remember Rachel not being able to stop thinking about Quinn.

I remember Rachel breaking down in front of everyone else and interrupting to tell Quinn she was so sorry.

I remember their third hug.

I remember do you not understand what you mean to me?

I remember Quinn being everything that Rachel wanted to be.

I remember that Rachel sees the new Quinn, the still-beautiful, but humbled and inspiring Quinn.

I remember when Rachel looks back on her high school career the one thing, the one accomplishment that she’s going to be so proud of is that she found a way to be Quinn’s friend.

I remember that Quinn first started talking about being prom queen in episode 2 of Glee, and that it’s all she ever wanted.

I remember that Quinn won.

I remember that Quinn rigged the votes.

I remember that Quinn chose Rachel as prom queen.

I remember the smile on Quinn’s face when it was announced that Rachel won.

I remember Quinn talking about change being so good because if they hadn’t changed they would’ve never been friends.

I remember Quinn bought Rachel a Metro North Pass from New York to New Haven, and one for herself, so she could make sure they stay in touch.

I remember their fourth hug.

I remember Quinn’s smile as Rachel arrived at the station to leave for New York, being so proud that Rachel finally got it right.

I remember the hundreds of gifs I’ve made.

I remember the thousands of words I’ve written.

I remember Rachel and Quinn as being the love story of Glee.

Now, in the 713 years he has spent as a vampire, he’s been with numerous men and women; tried the strangest positions, spent hours indulging his deepest and darkest desires, dipped his toes into the pool of strange kinks and methods. And nothing — nothing — will ever come close to pleasing him as much as filling you up with his cum did.

Maybe the mate bond enhanced every touch and sensation, maybe the sight of him trickling out of you made him lightheaded, maybe the thought of you practically glowing with a bulging stomach lit the possessive fire within him — gods, he didn’t know. Maybe all three were the truth (they probably were), but there was one thing he was certain of and that was that the feeling of your walls squeezing around him and welcoming his seed with open arms drove him to madness — and pregnancy was only a plus.

Even now, years later from the first time he had taken you, he couldn’t tire from the feeling, or the mental image he had created of you, his child in your stomach. He loved it. He loved you

“T-Taehyung!”

You were a sight. Your hair plastered to your forehead and bite marks carved into your neck, your breasts bouncing with each rough thrust and mouth fighting to form words. He could taste your blood on his tongue, could almost taste your arousal in the air, and he was sure that his eyes had turned completely pitch black from the sheer overdrive of his senses.

Every time he bottomed out in you, your pussy would suck him back in, pulling a groan from his lips at the mere thought of what was to come. Your hips in his hands, his knees pressing to the bed and the slap of his pelvis against your skin had him panting — as he had said, nothing better.

How many times had you came? He had lost count, but from the sight of the fatigue that was most definitely taking control of your body or how your eyes fluttered shut every few seconds from overstimulation, he guessed you were on number four.

“Tae!” You gasped wetly again, your head hitting the disheveled pillow beneath you with a dull thud and your neck stretching long and smooth. His eyes zero in on the bite marks he had reopened just minutes ago, then the trickle of blood that seeps from it. That’s his mark — because you’re his, his, his. Each thought is punctuated with a hard thrust that has you struggling for breath and Taehyung grunting into the hot air. “Ngh – I can’t – can’t take another one—!”

“I’m sure you can, my love,” he coos, breathless yet still mischievous enough to grin dangerously. He licks his lips, the faint taste of your blood sending a shiver up his spine. He meets your unfocused eyes, holding your gaze as he fakes innocence. “What’s wrong, huh? Does it feel good? You say you can’t take anymore but you want to, don’t you? Because you like not being able to take it—”

You keen in approval. Taehyung clenches his jaw, fighting to keep himself in control, and his eyebrows knit together in concentration as he hears your heart rate accelerate suddenly, your breathing speeding up and up and up and your pussy clenching around him so hard that he sees stars — then, your eyes roll to the back of your head and your back arches and you can’t even muster a scream. You lock around his cock so tightly that he fears moving will hurt you, but he knows you’re able to take it so his hips continue their plight to ride you through your fourth orgasm.

When you come down, falling limp to the bed with a tired moan, Taehyung can only grin. He’s still painfully hard inside you and his fangs are cutting into his bottom lip with the effort of not taking another drink of you, but again, Taehyung has had years of practice to control himself.

“Fuck,” you sigh, rubbing your eyes tiredly. Everywhere aches and you feel weak but not satisfied, and it’s all because Taehyung hasn’t let himself go yet. You had an inkling of suspicion that it had something to do with the mate bond and the need to… well, mate, but you knew this burning in your lower stomach wouldn’t stop until he was fucking his cum into you—

Taehyung watches in amusement as you whimpered weakly and began to raise your hips against his.

“Look at you,” he whispered, bending and licking the line of blood that had stained your neck. His hips began moving slowly again, strong yet languid movements that made him sigh. “You’ve came so many times and yet you’re still begging for me.”

You moaned fruitlessly, eyes fluttering shut as you basked in the movement of his hips — but he couldn’t have that, no, he needed you receptive to every movement and every touch, and so his gentle thrusts became rough rams into you, giving you just seconds to catch your breath before he repeated.

“I could make you cum so much that you’d cry,” Taehyung grunted, breathing heavily, “And you’d continue, wouldn’t you? Wouldn’t stop until I came inside you — until I filled you up, huh? Got you pregnant?”

You answer with a loud gasp, and Taehyung grins, filled with adrenaline. “You’d like that, wouldn’t you? Be – be  pregnant with my child? Fuck, you would, of course you would, you’re my girl, my mate—”

Taehyung breaks off in a silent grunt, his eyebrows tilting low and his eyes narrowing in on yours as ecstasy courses through his body — at the last second, he bends and breaks the skin on your neck like he had earlier, the taste of your blood only heightening his senses and the pleasure running through his veins.

Fuck, this is what he meant. Your walls massaging and clenching around him like they depended on it, pulling his cum deeper and deeper and into your awaiting womb. There was honestly and truly nothing better than this, and that was including all 710 years of Taehyung being a bachelor and able to fuck around like he was king of the world.

He coos gently even minutes later when his orgasm has faded away, rocking his hips gently as if it was going to push his cum deeper into you. It’s only when you murmur something unintelligible and wind your arms around his shoulders that he collapses on top of you, licking at your neck.

“You’re horrible,” you whine, still panting. Your limbs tremble at the mere idea of moving and you feel as if you’re pulsating with the aftershocks of your lovemaking. Taehyung only chuckles deeply, nuzzling his nose against your cheeks affectionately. It’s all so sweet and intimate, despite the fact that he was still buried inside of you and would occasionally rock his hips. “Why do you always do this?”

He shrugs, but you have a feeling that he knows exactly why. “Just because,” he murmurs, kissing along your jaw. “You’re mine. I want everyone to know… Whether that’s from your bite marks, or from…”

He drifts off, but the hand gently massaging your stomach says much more than whatever he could have. “When the time comes, I’ll only be happy to raise a child with you. Or more than one.”

“Might not be that far off,” you tease sleepily, “With how you’re going.”

And who knows? Maybe there was already a vampire bun in your oven…

Team Angry Cat

Last year, I went to a con in Chicago. On Saturday morning, I took the elevator from my room (fourth floor) to the con suite (second floor). Also on that elevator: a dude taking it to the first floor. As soon as I pressed the button, he said chidingly, “Two floors! Should’ve walked it.” And then he literally, actually tutted at me. “Tut tut tut” went the arbiter of everyone else’s body and abilities. Just so I’d know for sure that I’d been bad and been judged for it.

Now. There were a couple of conversations we could have had at this point. I could have told elevator dude the truth: that I have lupus (please please don’t make the House joke; you have no idea how many times I’ve heard the House joke, and I promise you that sometimes it is in fact lupus), so I keep an eye on my energy and pain levels and try to save some of whatever ability I have for later. That I’m especially careful to do that when I’m at an event or traveling, because I don’t want to be in my room exhausted or in pain when a thing I really wanted to do is happening two floors away, and I really don’t want to be in pain and out of energy while traveling in modern American airports (apparent motto: “If you can’t stand for four hours and run two miles full-tilt while carrying two weeks’ supplies, lol no go fuck yourself”). So I’m careful. I don’t push it. In the mornings, I might take the elevator, which the hotel did, after all, install for people to use.

I could also have told elevator dude to go fuck himself, which is the other honest conversation we could have had at that point. It is seriously none of his business whether I use the stairs, or the elevator, or rappel down the outside of the building, or maybe just dissolve into primordial ooze and drip down the walls.

But, you know, confrontation is another energy burner. I wanted to save my energy for having fun with my friends, the people I came to see. So I said something non-committal. Elevator dude wasn’t done, though. “You should always find the stairs, first thing when you check into a hotel,” this dude who was maybe ten years older than me and in no way my father said. “Did you know you’re not allowed to use the elevator during a fire? Whenever you check into a hotel, you should think: what if there’s a fire?”

Indeed, elevator dude. What if? What if, in my second decade of staying alone in hotels, you had not come along to tell me how to do it? I might have done it wrong, and then I would surely have burned to death in a fiery inferno, just as I have at least once a year throughout my adulthood, despite my mother giving me pretty much exactly those instructions back when I was seven and actually needed them.

Fortunately, at that point, we arrived at the second floor. I headed to the con suite and settled in. Some minutes later, I mentioned the mansplainer in the elevator and his profound concern for my well-being in case of fire. I didn’t complain about the “should’ve walked” comment, largely because I didn’t expect any support for it; I know an apparently able-bodied (and fat!) woman taking the elevator is cause for judgment in this world. (In some places, going by the general response, it’s borderline actionable.) And most people at that particular table didn’t know the details of my medical status, since in general, when given the choice between talking with my friends about lupus or talking with them about people banging, or being unicorn space eagles, or both, I tend to choose the pointy space birds and their sexytimes.

“Why would anyone say that to you?” one of the women at the table asked, in that mystified dudes-why-are-you? tone. “How does that even come up?”

So I explained about how we got on the topic of elevators. As soon as I said, “He said I should’ve taken the stairs,” ten women around the table looked up and angry cat hissed in unison. It was like they’d rehearsed it for weeks after months of watching angry cats and studying their motivations. Truly a beautiful moment.

From this experience I learned some things:

  1. Support matters. Those women and their instinctive and audible anger didn’t just make me feel better; they actually changed the way I remember the event. They became what was important about it rather than elevator dude. His judgment has become small and insignificant to me, and in fact I smile when I think about him, because he’s inextricably linked to that moment ten people became Team Angry Cat for me.

  2. A lot of times, I don’t reach for support because I don’t expect it. I don’t talk about the random elevator dude type aggravations of life, because I assume there’s a good chance most people will side with the elevator dudes of the world. It’s worth it to find the places where that isn’t true. And it’s worth it to reach for support when I can.

  3. I need to look for more chances to be on other people’s Team Angry Cat. I don’t need to know about that person’s life or judge their worthiness; if they’ve experienced harassment or microaggressions, I’m gonna try to support them.

  4. I’d pay significant money for a YouTube series that was just ten women angry cat hissing at ability enforcers and mansplainers and dudes shouting “smile, baby!” at random ladies and so on.

Oh, yeah, and to the ten members of that particular Team Angry Cat: thank you. You’re the best, and I will hiss for you anytime.

HI, can I request one with RFA+Saeran+V, like moments that they would have with their kid/kids? Maybe taking their kid/kids to work, coming home after a long day but even though they're tired, they still play with their kid/kids. These are just some examples and the kid/kids could be any age(as long as they count as a kids.) Thank you for all the Headcanons, some of these have helped me got through my depression and I am way better now because of you guys. *BIG HUGS FROM MY SIDE OF THE WORLD!*

So glad we could make you a little happier! *GIVES BIGGER HUG FROM OUR SIDE OF THE WORLD* Hope you enjoy these~

Zen:

  • His daughter had been spending way too much time with Jumin’s son
  • So, Zen wanted some quality time with her, at least for one day
  • He wakes her up one morning and takes her out for breakfast at a little coffee shop
  • They have a cute little breakfast while they talk about life and school
  • Zen pulls out his phone and takes a bunch of selfies
  • His daughter may have picked up some traits from him and joined into his selfie shenanigans
  • They use so many filters, and her favorite one is the wolf one, since Zen makes so many jokes about him being one
  • It’s all going great until her friends from school happen to pass by
  • “You didn’t tell me your dad was so…hot.”
  • Thankfully, Zen had been paying for the  meal, so he didn’t hear, but his daughter was mortified
  • She hurried Zen out of there when he was done
  • For most of the day, they visited different shops and walked around town together
  • When they got home at night, they put on masks together and put on a movie–that Zen wasn’t in
  • Zen fell asleep in the middle of it, and his daughter took the advantage and took a bunch of pictures and selfies
  • Zen looked ridiculous with the mask on and his mouth hanging open
  • She sent several to her mother for both of their amusement

Yoosung:

  • He had a day off and it was a rainy day
  • Thankfully, he had an entire playroom for his little boy
  • Yoosung had recently bought this huge foam blogs and several packs of them
  • So the two of them spent the entire afternoon transforming the room into the boy’s little house
  • There were walls that separated off a tiny living room, dining room, kitchen, and bedroom
  • He dragged Yoosung along in all the rooms
  • The first stop was the kitchen, complete with fake food and fake pots and pans
  • He made Yoosung a plastic omurice before serving him in the dining room
  • Yoosung plays along for the whole hour, even though his knees are killing him from being on the floor the whole time
  • The kid gets really excited and tries to run into another room
  • Unfortunately, his excitement causes him to run into one of the foam walls
  • A domino effect later, the whole foam house is on the ground and the kid is crying because he messed everything up
  • Yoosung tries to calm him down, “No, no! You’re just super strong. Like Spiderman!”
  • To cheer him up, Yoosung changes his son into a spiderman onesie
  • He then lifts him up in the air and lets his son pretend he’s flying
  • The kid is doing the spiderman thing with his fingers while Yoosung jumps from place to place around the house, the kid in his arms
  • Eventually, the kid gets tired and so does Yoosung, so they just take a nap together

Jaehee:

  • It was bring your kid to work day at C&R
  • Jaehee really didn’t want to bring her seven year old daughter, but there was no school that day and she couldn’t find a babysitter
  • So she brought her along
  • Her daughter was in awe by the place and kept asking Jaehee questions about what she did
  • Jaehee didn’t want her to get bored while she was doing paperwork, so she gave her little tasks of her own
  • She took a big pile of junk paper and set beside the shredder, teaching her daughter how to use it
  • The girl was fascinated with watching the paper shred into little tiny pieces
  • “Mom, this is so cool!”
  • “Yeah, honey, it is–No! Not that paper!”
  • After that, Jaehee gives her the job of putting stamps on envelopes to be mailed
  • It killed her pride, but Jaehee wanted to do something special for her daughter
  • So she asked Jumin to award the little girl with a certificate
  • She didn’t expect Jumin to give an entire speech in the conference room about how there has never been a better paper shredder in the company
  • What made it worse is that her daughter has this huge admiration for Jumin now

Jumin:

  • One of his business deals went through and the client gifted Jumin with this huge Lego Star Wars ship
  • It was an odd gift, but Jumin thought his ten year old would like it
  • So, he gave it to him that night and promised to build it with him as soon as he got home from work the next day
  • The son was so excited
  • He opened the set and separated the legos by color and type and waited patiently for Jumin by the coffee table
  • As soon as the keys jingle from the door, the son is darting forward to greet his dad
  • Jumin keeps his word and they get to work
  • He didn’t expect it to be so complicated…
  • Jumin is so confused by all the instructions…and why they are pictures instead of written words
  • “Hey, Dad! Look!”
  • Jumin slowly lowers the huge paper and sees his son one-fourth of the way done
  • Eventually, Jumin tries actual building, but his long fingers make it difficult to put the tiny pieces together
  • The kid crawls in his lap and helps his dad as they build certain parts together
  • Hours later and they finally finish
  • Jumin is so proud, since his son managed to figure out the foreign language of instructions and finish
  • He wants to take a picture, so his son stands on the couch and does a little peace sign next to their creation
  • Jumin goes out with his son and buys some more smaller lego sets
  • MC comes home with her living room full of Star Wars spaceships…

Seven:

  • His eight year old daughter came home from school a little pouty
  • She tells him that she has a science fair soon and she needs to build something for it
  • He suggests a solar system, and she responds by pulling a disgusted face
  • “Space is boring though!”
  • Seven gasps loudly and promises to show her she’s wrong
  • Knowing he can get a little extra when it comes to projects, so she emphasizes that she only needs the simplest thing
  • He tells her to go draw a picture of the solar system and he would help with coloring or something
  • She brings it back to him and he just spreads it across the table, “Great! This is the blueprint.”
  • Knowing she can’t stop him, she just goes along with whatever he has planned
  • They spend the day building with whatever equipment he has in his house
  • He gives her a bunch of space facts as they’re building the planets together and putting together the rods
  • When it comes time to a snack break, he takes her out to the store and buys some HBC and Dr. Pepper
  • “I use to live on this when I was younger,” he told her.
  • He sees sparkles in her eyes when she first tries them together and he’s so proud
  • They finish the project together throughout the week, and both end up really liking spending the quality time together
  • And she doesn’t hate space anymore, which was a plus
  • But then he gets a call from a teacher the next day voicing their concerns
  • Apparently, a solar system complete with lights, moon phases, and a robotic orbit implied that she might have cheated
  • Seven didn’t care that she got disqualified, and he took her out for ice cream to celebrate anyway

Saeran:

  • Unfortunately, Saeran’s six year old son had the same health tendencies as his father
  • That meant he got sick pretty often and had to stay home from school
  • Saeran saw he was getting pretty bummed out about it
  • So he decides to make that sick day as fun as possible
  • He brings a bunch of books to the bed and lets his son pick one out
  • He reads as many as he can, but in the middle of one, his son requests a puppet show
  • Saeran is hesitant, but he can’t resist his son when he looks so pale and tired
  • So he builds a little theatre and draws faces on some old socks
  • He begins reading from the book again, this time with the puppets talking
  • “And then the king said–”
  • “No, Daddy, you have to do the voices!”
  • “Oh…sorry…Ahem.” He proceeds in a higher pitched voice
  • He actually does finish the story–voices and all–and the kid is laughing by the time he’s done
  • Saeran will put on his son’s favorite movies and move him over to the couch
  • He melts a little when his son snuggles up to him for warmth

V:

  • He takes his daughter to the playground since it’s a nice day
  • But she’s very shy so she ends up being alone on a swing at one end of the park
  • He feels bad, but he doesn’t want to make her uncomfortable and push her at the other kids
  • So he joins her
  • First he takes to slides, but she’s too scared to go down the really long slides
  • So he sets her on his lap and goes down with her–even if he hits his head a few times
  • He plays that game where he pretends he’s in trouble as he’s lying backwards on the slide and holding out his hand while she pulls him up
  • After awhile, she’s not scared anymore so she tries to impress him by walking up the slide
  • But she ends up slipping and going straight to the ground, and he has to get wood chips out of her hair
  • The other kids are attracted to the fun the two seem to be having
  • V somehow ends up as a jungle gym with children climbing him and asking to play with them
  • By the time they leave, his daughter has made quite a few friends, but she looks up at V and grabs his hand, “I had the most fun with you, Daddy!”

Shattered glass

Read the prequel here (not necessary to understand the fic)

Draco opened his eyes.

He immediately wished he hadn’t.

Merlin, we’re all gonna die .

He shared a dorm with Pansy, Millicent, Daphne, Theo and Blaise. A dorm that was supposed to have seven windows. A dorm that currently had five, as well as two gaping holes and a fuckton of water. The first window must have been the snap he’d heard in his dream, the second must have woken him up. But the others were all still sleeping soundly, including Millicent whose bed was closest to the third window that already showed a growing crack.

The Slytherin dungeons hadn’t been maintained as they should, after all if you had a limited budget and needed to choose between fixing the heroic Gryffindor tower or the Slytherin dungeons only an idiot would pick the snakes. They were all death eaters in the eye of the public anyway. Which is why Draco’s second thought was shit this is all my fault.

“They can’t swim!” Draco yelled as he jumped out of bed, the line now finally making sense. His bare feet splashed into the cold water that came rushing into their dorm at a frightening pace. The raging februari storm had made the water levels rise to extremes, and now what appeared to be the entire content of the lake, mud included, came rushing into the dungeons. Already it was impossible to see where you placed your feet and the sound of the rushing water was deafening. Draco could barely hear his own panicked thoughts above the noise.

“Merlin’s beard.” Blaise stammered, paling visibly. He quickly jumped out of bed, yelping when the cold water touched his skin, and waded over to Daphne who always slept with insanely strong silencing charms around her bed. The others were waking up too, most of them too shocked to say anything at first.

“This is bad. This is really really bad.” Pansy was shivering all over and she hadn’t even touched the water yet. Her breath made tiny fog clouds in the freezing air and the messy bun on top of her head shivered alongside the rest of her body. Draco quickly pulled her off the bed and into the water, handing over her wand in the proces. They had no time to deal with her hydrophobia now.

“We have to get everyone out, our windows might not be the only ones that broke!” Draco yelled. He took a deep breath and pulled up his occlumency wards, shielding himself from the panic that was threatening to destroy his ability to think. Then he waded towards Millicent’s bed to make sure she got out of it before window number three shattered. He cursed as his foot caught onto something underneath the surface of the muddy water. He was nearly knocked off his feet by Pansy’s now floating trunk, and had barely taken another step when he was stopped again, this time by the loud snap of breaking glass.

Shouting out Millicent’s name was all he could do before the rush of water from the third window knocked him off his feet. A shard of glass pierced the skin underneath his foot as he struggled to get up again, coughing like his life depended on it. The current was stronger than expected and the temperature of the water nearly completely paralyzed his muscles.

“Everybody out of the dorm!” Boomed Millicent’s voice through the room. Though her bed had been crushed against the wall she was still alive and kicking, or rather wading towards Draco. He strongly suspected she could out-speed and out-calm anyone during panic situations.

Her strong hands tugged on his elbow and soon he was back on his feet again. His whole body was shaking from the cold and if it hadn’t been for milly’s strong grip he would not have made it out of the dorm. By Hades’ blue balls, they were in trouble.

Peteo auxilio!” A large blue jet of light sprouted from the tip of Draco’s wand and it quickly disappeared into the hallway, illuminating the four inch layer of water already standing in it.

Videntur vitae! ” Pansy’s wand lit up, then extinguished, and suddenly there were numbers on every door. Seven third year girls. Four third year boys. Six fourth year girls. It went on like that for eleven more dorms.

“Pansy, you take the first six dorms with Blaise, Daphne and Theo you do the four after. Millicent and I do the last ones.” Draco had to yell in order to be heard above the tumult of the water. As the others took off and Millicent dragged him along to the far end of the corridor he quickly whispered a sonorus .

“EVERYONE WAKE UP NOW! THE WINDOWS ARE BREAKING. LEAVE ALL YOUR BELONGINGS AND GET TO THE GREAT HALL.” He managed to shout before his voice gave out. His vocal cords had never been a great fan of the cold and at the moment even dementors could not chill the place down further. Moments later the first panicked screams met their ears and soon after several doors flew open. The water level in the corridor rose several more inches before he and Milly had come halfway.

“Make sure everyone stays in the great hall when they get upstairs, we need to do a headcount.” He told Emily, a passing by third year. He knew all of his fellow snakes by heart and she was one of the few with enough leader qualities to make people listen. ”And make sure the house elves are safe, they sleep in the dungeons too.”

“Will do!” She answered before disappearing with a group of fourth years. Then he turned back to where he was headed; The end of the hallway that was as far from the common room door as you could get on this level of the Slytherin dungeons. It was a proper titanic like scene now, though the water was much muddier. For a second he froze, tempted by the idea to just run out of there as quick as he could, living up to his reputation as selfish, spineless dickhead.

“Well let’s get on with it Draco!” Yelled Millicent as she pulled him further towards what looked like their doom. “We’re not letting those students drown now are we?”

“Of course not.” Draco told her firmly, replacing the idea of running away with the image of Harry. “They can’t swim!”

“What do you mean, you don’t understand why I’m upset?” Auston asks running his hands through his hair. “I’m upset, no I’m pissed- furious, actually because there are random guys liking your photos on Instagram.”

“It’s public, Auston. Loads of random girls like your photos and you don’t see me getting all bent out of shape about it.” You sigh. Auston is only getting more upset, nothing you say is helping. All because some random guy liked a couple of your photos this morning. One of which was the sunrise and another was the ice before anyone skated on it. “You’re overreacting.”

Step 1) Pay attention to first impressions*

After a little…thinking time, I have decided to write this last volume in sight of the fact that there is something we failed to discuss earlier.

In the words of the great poet William Shakespeare, “Some are born as a fuckboy, some achieve fuckboy-hood, and some have fuckboy-hood thrust upon them.” Okay, yes, I changed it a LITTLE. But that’s beside the point. In this volume, we will be addressing the third version, those that have “fuckboy-hood thrust upon them” which I will henceforth reference as a “convert.” Often times, these are guys who have experienced emotional trauma in a romantic relationship, but instead of working toward a healing resolution, they will compensate by seeking comfort in… something else.

Jung Hoseok, a name that anyone- nay, EVERYONE in the Middle Earth dormitory has heard.

Jung Hoseok, the dancer, the straight A student, the part time waiter in the university’s only sit-down restaurant.

Jung Hoseok, the most notorious fuckboy on campus.

See, rumor has it, he keeps this list, a LITERAL list. It has no title and no explanation, but neither is ever really necessary. It only consists of names…about three hundred of them, though the general consensus stands that slightly more than half are crossed out. And let’s just say it’s not because he’s handing out party invitations.

So obviously, when you moved into your Middle Earth apartment, having transferred over from another university, within the first two days you knew who he was and that you should stay the hell away from him at all costs.

You want NOTHING to do with Jung Hoseok.

It’s not that he’s trouble, because let’s face it, you are NO stranger that word in any sense, but rather your avoidance of him has everything to do with how you first met and what he said to you. Or maybe what he didn’t say.

The empty carton of cigarettes stares back at you with a vengeance, the last one poised between your fingers.

By now, one would think you’d learn to keep a reserve, but NO. You let your vices eat you alive and then cyclically get angry when you neglect them out of laziness. You shrug, skillfully flicking on your lighter before letting the tip of the flame kiss the edge of the cigarette.

Fine. Whatever. Learn nothing, that’s okay too.

Taking a thoughtful drag, shifting your position at the base of the tree, you pull out this quarter’s class schedule and the campus map to look them over one last time instead of watching students pass between small dormitory buildings, meeting neighbors, greeting friends.

As you have or desire neither, you devote your attention to the paper, pretending to be thoroughly interested in wherever the hell “Science Lecture Hall B” is located- especially as some boy decides that out of ALL the decorative trees to sit under, he’ll be occupying the space under YOURS.

“You know this is a smoke free campus, right?” he deposits his book bag beside the trunk, looking at you like you just killed a man.

You arch an eyebrow, unsure whether to be irritated or curious, “You know I don’t actually care, right?”

“Great, because I don’t either,” he laughs at his own bad joke, taking a seat and stretching out his legs. You’ve got to admit (or I’ll force you to), he’s a little attractive with his bright smile, tanned skin, lean frame, and dark, feathery hair- but oh GOD is that a choker?

“Fantastic,” you smirk before taking a long drag and blowing the smoke right into his face, hating the burning, but loving the coughing fit your new companion bends into.

“Was that…really necessary?” he bats at the air, action so (possibly unintentionally) comical that it makes you laugh. The boy seems to take this as the go-ahead to continue, “You got a name?”

“Would you believe me if I said no?” you’re more amused than anything at this point, ego being stroked fervently by his insistence on finding everything you say hilarious. You want to believe your interactions are reluctant, but the smile on your face as you tell him your name says otherwise.

He extends his hand for a shake and you’re one hundred percent ready to accept the greeting until he says, “I’m Hoseok. Jung Hoseok.”

“Oh.”

You immediately retract, having skimmed the skin of his palm, watching him now with a look of disgust. His smile falls.

“Did I do something wrong?”

You stand, shoving your schedule into your bag so haphazardly that it audibly crumples, “Don’t think I haven’t heard your name before. I know what you are.”

“What I am…?”

You decide to not grace him with an answer, opting instead to walk away. But the persistent boy follows.

“Wait, what do you mean? I don’t understand.”

If your roommate hadn’t warned you about him, you might think Hoseok is actually upset by your leaving, rather than simply pining for attention. If your name is on that notorious list of his, you want absolutely nothing to do with him- a thought that I encourage enthusiastically.

You drop the cigarette, stomping on the smoldering end until satisfied, words gruff, “You don’t NEED to understand. Now, unless you have a pack of smokes that you want to share, we’re done here.”

My Saviour - Part One

A/N: I finally have enough chapters of this finished so that I can start posting. I will be posting once a week and I’ll try and stick to mondays, but I can’t guarantee anything. I need to thank my beta @thorne93 for still keeping up with me, you are awesome and I would be thoroughly lost without you. Feedback is highly appreciated since I practically live for the stuff.

This story is going to be a very bumpy ride, with a lot of angst, pretty much in most chapters. The reader is in an abusive relationship. I will warn properly for each chapter, and do my best to tag it properly as well. But if you are easily triggered, this might not be a series for you.

This is also an AU. Dean is a doctor, Sam is a lawyer.

Characters: Dean Winchester, Reader, Alex (OMC mentioned)

Wanings: Mentions of abuse, low self esteem, language, Dean being a doctor (yes that’s a warning)

Wordcount: 2170

MASTERPOST

You were sitting in the emergency room, one arm carefully cradled in the other, wondering if it was the third or fourth time you had broken that same arm. You could hardly feel the physical pain of it anymore, and on the inside… you were just numb.

You sat there and looked around the near empty room, some informative posters on the walls, some pamphlets on a stand in the corner, several year old magazine littering the few tables, and a half dead plant near the entrance. You had gotten pretty familiar with this room over the past few years, and you imagined that at some point you would get immune to the smell of disinfectant, and the deafening quiet in the room… but no. The smell still made you queasy, and you had read through all of the magazines at least twice.

As you sat there and waited, like you had done so many times before, you wondered how your life had come to this. After you graduated high school, you had decided to take a year off before you started college so that your boyfriend, Alexander, could move with you to wherever you wanted to study. He had gotten an internship at his dad’s construction company that was set to start right after graduation, but he promised that after that year, he would come with you wherever you wanted to go. You made your peace with that and started your own job hunt.

There were three constants in you life; your love for your family, space, and music.

Growing up, the relationship between you, your parents, and your sibling was tight. No matter the situation, the love shared between yourselves was constant.

Space was also consistent. To anyone else, space is just something out of their reach; a beautiful sight to behold, but no one bothers to look because they are busy sleeping. Not you, though. Although space had always fascinated you (let’s be real; NASA was the goal), space was just a way to show that there was so much you didn’t know, and that you curiosity was always overpowering.

Music, however, was not an art. To you, it was a religion. From as long as you could remember, music had been incorporated into your life. In the fourth grade, you joined an Honours Choir, signing in competitions all across New York City. In the seventh grade, you joined the middle school band. You picked up the clarinet and played well enough to have been invited to join the New York City Honour Band less than a year after you started to play.

Even if the last vestiges of winter are faintly gracing the outside, the day feels colder than it has ever been.

The timing is painfully amusing, you think. Winter has always been a part of you and Taehyung — you first laid your eyes on him through a thick veil of twinkling snowflakes, the first words you exchanged were over a cup of hot chocolate, and the first kiss he gave you was under the umbrella that protected you from a gentle blizzard. You love him just like you love winter, with its stinging cold and achingly dry wind; and even if it burns you sometimes, you can’t help but long for the signs of sunlight, so graceful above the snow coated ground. So unearthly and exquisite, just like him.
