A/N: so we hit 300 followers today?? This is insane, thank you guys so much for the support, you are all incredible!! Enjoy!

The heels of my boots clicked against the floor as I walked down the school hallway.  I scanned everyone’s faces, searching for my boyfriend. An arm grabbed me and pulled me into an empty classroom.  I looked up and saw my boyfriend.

“Jug!” I giggled as he wrapped his arms around my waist.  “You know I have to get to French class in a few minutes.”

“I know,” he smirked, “which means we have a few minutes.”  I laughed and wrapped my arms around his neck.

“The bell’s gonna ring any second,” I whispered, my face inching closer to his.  Jughead’s smirk faded into a smile as he leaned in.

“Better make every second count then,” he replied.  Our lips were millimeters apart when the bell rang, causing me to jump out of his arms. When I saw him pouting, I winked before exiting the room.

“Au revoir, Jughead,” I called over my shoulder.  He rolled his eyes, but there was a smile etched on his face.

Later that day, I was sitting with Betty and Veronica at lunch.

“So you’re still coming to Pop’s tonight, right (Y/N)?” Betty asked.  I smiled and nodded.

“Of course!” I replied.

“And will Jughead be joining us tonight?” Veronica asked, her lips curving upwards in a smirk.  I rolled my eyes but nodded.

“Yes he is,” I responded. Betty and Veronica shared a smirk, causing me to shake my head.  “Oh my god, guys, I know what you’re thinking.”

“Yeah, yeah,” Veronica waved her hand, dismissing me.  “I know what you’re gonna say.  You and Jughead have been BFFs since day one and blah blah blah ruin friendship and so on so forth.”  She shook her head.  “Whatever. You know what we have to say, and it’s your choice.”  I laughed to myself, amused by Veronica and Betty’s lack of knowledge about mine and Jughead’s relationship.  For a second, I considered telling them the truth.  Instead, I just smiled and shrugged nonchalantly.

Jughead was the first person to arrive at Pop’s that evening.  Once I arrived, he perked up and waved me over to the booth.  When I sat down, he pecked me on the lips.  I playfully pushed him away.

“Our friends are going to be here any second,” I scolded him with a smile.  He laughed and rolled his eyes.

“We have to tell them eventually,” he reminded me, and I nodded.

“I know.”  The jingle of the bell signaled someone new entered Pop’s, and we turned around to see Veronica walk in.  I waved at her and she quickly caught sight of us, striding over to our booth.  She slid into the seat across from us.

“Hey lovebirds,” she greeted with a smirk.  I smiled back at her, unbothered.

“Hey, V,” I said. Kevin, Betty, and Archie arrived soon after, and we ordered our food and fell into a playful conversation. Occasionally, Jughead would steal some fries from my basket.  In retaliation, I would take his onion rings.  Our other four friends noticed these playful exchanges.  At first they said nothing, but when Jughead and I started to lightly shove each other, Kevin stopped us.

“Oh my god, just date already!” he shouted, slamming his fists on the table.  Jughead and I shared a glance, then burst out into laughter.

“What?” Archie questioned, all four of our friends looking back and forth between me and Jughead.  I bit my lip and smiled up at Jughead, ignoring our friends surrounding us.

“Oh my god,” Betty muttered, her eyes widening.  “You guys are…”  She couldn’t finish her sentence, her train of thought lost in shock.  Veronica and Kevin gasped.

“Are what?” Archie asked, still not getting it.  Veronica rolled her eyes.

“Dating, Archiekins,” she explained.  “(Y/N) and Jughead are dating.”  His eyes widened.

“You guys are dating?” he gasped.  “Since when?” I shrugged, not making eye contact with any of them.

“About a month?” I said, looking at Jughead for confirmation.  He nodded.

“Sounds about right.”

“And you didn’t tell us?” Kevin demanded.  I bit my lip guiltily and shrugged.

“We were waiting for a good time to tell you guys,” I explained, but it came out more like a question.  The whole table groaned at us, but everyone wore smiles.

“Well,” smiled Betty, “it’s about time.”

episode two :: Yuri realizes, suddenly and terribly, he might be a little bit in love.

Victor doesn’t even try to go to sleep.  He just lays in bed with his laptop, watching the thirty-seven takes of Yuuri trying to get “hi, I’m Yuuri Katsuki, and I’m the Bachelor” out of his mouth.

Don’t they know who I am?” Yuuri slurs on screen.

Yuuri, you have to put the champagne bottle down, you have to pretend to be sober,” Phichit says off camera, all authority gone from his voice.  He’s trying not to laugh.

Phichit,” Yuuri says, and he takes a big swig from the bottle, bubbles pouring down both sides of his lips. “You can’t tell me what to do.  I’m Yuuri Katsuki, and I’m the motherfucking Bachelor.

Description: You decide to runaway from your heart break, evacuating to your hometown. You’re reunited with your strawberry loving childhood friend who’s determined to fix you up.

A/N: HOLY FUCK, first ever BTS smut here it comes! FUCKING SHIT WAS HARD TO WRITE!

Word count: A soul sucking 20+k

“Y/N, I’m sorry.“

You felt your heart shatter to millions of tiny pieces as you stared at your boyfriend of four years. The man looked down at his hand in shame, silently waiting for you to react.

"You’re lying, Jungkook, please tell me you’re lying,” you choked out, your eyes tearing as you faced the man who you have loved from the bottom of your heart throughout the relationship you had with him.

Jungkook gulped as he looked up, his round eyes seeming to fill with pain as he looked at your expression. He slowly reached out to you, his fingers hovering over your cheek, wanting to wipe the tears that began to fall, “Y/N babe, please, I love you. I didn’t mean for it to happen I-”

“Jungkook, don’t call me that. You just told me you fucking cheated on me and the girl is carrying your child!” You cried, shrinking away from his touch as you heaved, your chest feeling extremely heavy.

A look of hurt entered Jungkook’s eyes as you denied his touch. He pulled his bottom lip that you have kissed over a thousand times between his teeth, gnawing at it nervously.

“Y/N, please. You gotta listen to me, it’s always been you, I’ve always loved you. Can’t you see that? She doesn’t mean anything, you’re the one that I-”

“How many times, Jungkook,” you whispered calmly, your eyes that were blurry stared at Jungkook, watching his reaction.

The man stammered, his gaze wavering.

With a deep breath, you closed your eyes. Jungkook didn’t have to tell you the answer, his reaction already let you know. It wasn’t once, it was multiple times.

“Get out.”

Jungkook’s head snapped up, his eyes widening as he stared at you, “W-What…?”

You gulped, your eyes finally meeting Jungkook’s eyes as you tried to stop your lips from trembling. “I didn’t stutter, Jungkook. I said get out,” your voice was stronger this time.

Jungkook felt like someone had stabbed him in the heart with a dagger, slowly twisting the blade to make the pain feel even greater. He felt his heart drop down to his stomach as he quickly realized he was the reason why you looked like how you were right there.

Your eyes held no emotion, the smile he loved seeing on missing from your lips. Your nose was red, and he would have found it adorable any other moment and teased you about it like he used to when you cried over a sappy movie but he couldn’t.

Because he was the reason why you were crying.

“GET OUT!” This time you screamed, your hands shaking as you pointed to the door, “Jeon Jungkook, we are over.” This time, it was Jungkook’s turn to feel his heart shatter at your words. He stiffly got up to his feet, slowly picking up his keys and wallet as he walked to the door.

You avoided looking at him, staring down at your hands as tears dripped down your eyes, leaving wet stains on your jeans.

Jungkook slowly turned around as he opened the door, his eyes filling with hurt as he stared at your small form that sat on the floor in the middle of the apartment the two of you have been sharing for the past three years.

“Y/N, I love you…” He muttered before stepping out into the night, closing the door softly behind him.

As the door closed, you felt the sob rake through your body, “If you really loved me, you wouldn’t have cheated, you fucking asshole…” you cried into your hand, finally allowing yourself to lose to your emotions. You felt like a massive boulder of weight was crushing you, your shoulders shaking as you hiccupped.

He had cheated on you…. The man who had asked you to spend the rest of his life with him had betrayed you.

After what seemed like hours, you finally moved to your feet, dragging yourself like a corpse to the kitchen to hydrate yourself after losing all of the liquid in your body from crying. You winced as the cold water went down your throat, your body also becoming cold along with your broken heart.

It didn’t help to see the small silver promise ring on your finger, gleaming under the soft kitchen light as if to taunt you.

You harshly tugged it off your hand, moving to throw it across the room. However, you shakily stopped yourself, feeling another tear run down your cheek as you slumped to the floor, your shoulders drooping tiredly as you clutched the small ring.

At that moment, you jumped in fright as a loud crash echoed through the quiet room. With your eyes widened in surprise, you looked at the photo frame that was the cause of the sound.

You tiredly got up to your feet, gently picking up the frame that laid face down on the table. Slowly, your finger ran over the cold glass, your eyes softening as you eyed your younger self; beaming into the camera with your grandmother and a boy who had an equally as big grin as yours, only being boxier than yours.

You sucked in a breath as you returned the frame back to where it was on the table before walking to the kitchen phone, dialing the familiar number.

It rang three times before a familiar voice picked it up.

“Hello, Grandma? It’s me, yeah I’m doing good. Actually, I was wondering if what you were offering a couple weeks ago is still up. I changed my mind.”

The corner of your lips tugged up, “Yeah, I’ll see you soon. I love you too.” The call ended, leaving you alone in the silent apartment filled with memories of three years.

It was time for you to say goodbye.

A Single Voice Above The Noise

Anyone ask for another soulmate AU? No? Well, have one anyway. In this one soulmates share a telepathic link.

Summary: Stan doesn’t have a soulmate. That is fine. He doesn’t need one. Or so he thought until he suddenly hears a voice in his head that is not his own

Meanwhile Richie and Eddie can’t wait to meet each other and just have to make do with what they’ve got

Word Count: 17692 (I know it got long)

Pairing: Stan/Bill & Richie/Eddie

Some people heard voices in their head and Stan had a hard time understanding how these people were not on medication or in therapy. No… hearing voices was considered a good thing, desirable. Well, voices, plural, might not be. But hearing your soulmate talking to you was normal. At least that’s what people said, Stan had never experience it and he was honestly pretty glad about that. Sometimes he wondered if he should try it, but the day he gave in and tried to communicate telepathically with someone who probably wasn’t even real, he’d lose all self-respect. It’s not that Stan didn’t believe in soulmates, and he somehow also believed in the voices thing, because his friend Eddie heard a voice, and he didn’t think Eddie was crazy. But Stan didn’t believe that hearing a voice would be good for him and he didn’t believe there was a soulmate for him. That’s normal too, not everyone had one.

He was in his mid-twenties, if he had a soulmate, he’d have heard him by now, right? Eddie said, he’s heard the voice for years now. Stan didn’t know how he dealt with it, because there’s no rules to the voices and everything needed to have rules, everything needed to follow a certain path. So no, Stan was not envious of the people hearing voices. He was quite happy that he didn’t, but if everyone could stop pitying him every time he said so, that would be great.

I’ve told you not to call me that.

You never like any of my names for you.

Because they’re awful!

If I knew your name, I could personalize them for you.

Richie immediately regretted saying that, he knew what was going to happen next and sure…

My name is… And then silence.

Richie groaned. He had wanted to tell him about band practice, but now his soulmate was gone. This always happened when either of them tried to be a bit more specific. At first, he had thought his soulmate was a fucking tease, always shutting up when they tried to arrange a meeting or whatever.

"I'm not your blind date but you came over and I was eating alone so I went with it and now you're calling me by a different name" AU

I found this prompt on a Tumblr blog but I accidentally deleted the post and now I can’t find the prompt anymore

Lena was sitting alone. She twirled the neck of the wine glass in her left hand, her phone in her right as she responded to work emails. Jess kicked her out of the office almost an hour ago, going on about how she shouldn’t be working on her birthday and she deserved one day off for herself. Problem is Lena always had days to herself. Her days were always “her” days if she didn’t have anyone to share them with. She looked down at the red rose on the table before her, Jess’ gift to her, and let herself smile slightly. Jess was a good assistant, she meant well, and she seemed to care when no one else did.

So that’s why she listened and came here to this restaurant when she really wanted to finish responding to her emails and get a head start on tomorrow’s project. The place wasn’t the fanciest she’s been, but she wasn’t about to go to one of the high-class places she frequented when she didn’t have a date. It was nice enough: low lighting, decent wine selection, and she got a small booth in the back so no one would bother her. Her plan was to come out, grab a quick bite, and then finish work at home.

She was so focused on her phone that she hadn’t noticed the woman walk up to her booth. There was a small tap on her shoulder then, and she was slightly annoyed that anyone would interrupt her when she purposely picked this booth to avoid being bothered. She turned to look up quickly, an annoyed “Can I help you?” on the tip of her tongue, when she came face-to-face with a literal angel, the words dying before they formed. Her jaw went slack as she took in the stunning being before her.

The woman had the bluest eyes Lena had ever seen, even under the minimal lighting of the place and the black rimmed glasses she wore. Her hair fell in soft golden waves, across the shoulders of her beige jacket and blue top. She had a pair of black pants that hugged her hips and a nice pair of boots to match. She looked dressed up, yet still casual, and it suddenly made Lena feel self-conscious about the tight fitting black dress and tight ponytail she wore.

“It was supposed to be yellow,” the woman said, pointing at the flower on the table.

Star (Poly!Hamilsquad x Reader)

Words: 4000+

Warnings: Cursing, mentions of sex, ?

A/N: an anon requested a poly!hamilsquad x reader soulmate au and i had no idea how to do it so it’s been in my inbox for like a month. im so sorry i took so long ;-; i never posted this late (or early before so enjoy!)

“Y/N, for crying out loud, aren’t you the tiniest bit curious as to who it might be? I mean, come on, you have an incomplete triangle on your wrist!” Angelica said, trying to pull up your sleeve. You swatted her hand away, pushing it back down. She always pestered you about the mark on your wrist. Since she does not have one of her own, she tells you that she lives vicariously through you.

There were only a handful of people in the world that had markings on their skin. It was what scientists called soulmate links, people you were meant to be with. Unfortunately for you, and this was your opinion, you hated being one of the few to have it. You didn’t believe in people “meant to be together”, and would rather just find someone that you loved for who they are, not what your skin says.

And the mark on your wrist was so small, it could just be a birthmark.

Summary:   Jack hates conventions – the crowds, the noise, the forced socialization, but it’s a work thing that must be done. Enter Samwell Hockey Player, Eric Bittle, who attends the convention with a group of friends. Suddenly things begin to look up. Jack and Bitty meet at Falcs Fest. Flirting, shenanigans, and love ensue.

“Jack, I realize it’s not how you want to spend your weekend,” George said then paused to take a long sip of coffee. “But it is what it is, and everyone has to do it.” She smiled and added, “So suck it up, mister.”

Jack frowned, “Fine. Fine. Everyone else has to attend, too, right? Everyone?”

George leaned back in her chair and nodded, “Yes. Tater, Thirdy, Guy, Marty, Snowy, Poots – everyone. Misery loves company, after all.”

Jack huffed petulantly.

“I’m kidding!” George said with a laugh, “Come on. The Hawks are always bragging about their convention, so we have to make our inaugural one fantastic and have everyone there.”

Jack shrugged and took a pen from George’s desk, he twirled it absentmindedly in his fingers.

“Jack, it’ll be fine, and guess what? You might actually enjoy it. An entire weekend surrounded by adoring fans, eating anything you want, being handed people’s babies, dancing and whatnot?”

Jack got up and pushed his chair in. “Thanks, George.”

George smiled, then took her attention back to her computer, as Jack loomed in her office doorway.

“Yes, Jack?” She asked as she wrote something in an appointment book.

“Do we have to stay at the hotel, too?”

“Up to you, Jack. Do you feel like driving home back and forth early in the morning and late at night? Most of the guys are making a weekend of it and staying there. There’ll be team brunches every morning. We still have a couple rooms available in the block we reserved, so you can stay there if you want.”

Jack frowned again.

George paused and looked at him, “A little fun won’t kill you, Zimmermann.”

Jack nodded, attempted a meager smile and exited George’s office.

“Oh, and Jack?”

"Can I have my pen back?”

Chapter 5: https://welldamnshawn.tumblr.com/post/166248497496/chapter-5-were-a-perfect-match-shawn-mendes

Author’s note: HERES THE LONG AWAITED CHAPTER 6! There wont be an update for a while as it was quite a long chapter. Shawn’s background is explained a lot here and I hope you guys like it :)

Recap: “Got it.” He rolls his eyes, allowing me to push his towards the door.

I pause, watching his features turn into a small smile as I reach to close the door, I meet his gaze one last time.

“I’ll show you Shawn. We’re a perfect match.”

My soulmate was good at many things. One of them was looking ruggedly handsome in an all-black suit. The other was sneaking into my room when I least expect it.

There he was, 5 minutes to 10:00 am, just like I told him, head to toe in the finest suit he owned.

“You clean up nicely.” I smile warmly at him and he glares at me, scratching the back of his neck awkwardly.

“I look like an arrogant ass.” He mumbles, taking a seat on the edge of my bed as I grab some earrings off my dresser.

“Aren’t you always?” I tease, allowing him to complain.

“Very funny.” He scorns me, tugging at his collar again.

“I think you’re really going to enjoy what we’re doing today.” I grin at him and he blanches, a thin sheen of sweat might even be visible on his forehead if you look close enough. “Did you bring your car?”

He gives me a strange look. “Yeah I parked around the back.”

“Lets go then.” I grab my purse off my bed and open my patio door, waiting for him to lead me to his car- a black chevrolet Camaro. It was one of the oldest model’s I’d ever seen but looked surprisingly well kept.

“Bet you’re not used to roughing it out in an old piece of metal like this?” Shawn humour’s, unlocking the car.

“Actually my Grandpa likes to collect old cars, he has around maybe 5 of these but they’re all in different colours.” I try not to laugh too loud at the shocked and mildly annoyed look upon Shawn’s face. I buckle in and Shawn turns on the ignition, pulling onto the road.

“So where are we going?” He breaks the silence.

“Park out front the Dee Gardens and then we’re on foot from there.”

“You made me wear a suit to go to the park?” he asks, looking at me like I had asked him to do the most ridiculous thing.

“Maybe.” I giggle, winding the window down to allow the cool spring breeze into the car. The sun was beating down through the windows and I already knew it was going to be a good day. Perfect for a wedding.

“Okay, there, park there.” The Dee Gardens were a short 5 minute drive from our house and as soon as I saw a free parking space, we took it.

The gravel crunches under my heels as I get out, shutting the door and walking over to the grass. Excitement bubbles in my stomach and I feel a shoulder brush mine, turning to see Shawn standing right beside me.

“Lets go.” I grab his hand, entwining my fingers with his.

“Is this really necessary?” He holds our joined hands up as he falls into step with me and I raise an eyebrow.

“4 weeks, remember?”

He sighs, the sound drawing my attention to the faint hum of voices. We round the corner and ahead is a small clearing, surrounded by tall red woods. There’s maybe 40 chairs either side, an aisle running through the middle. At the end there’s a stand with a small archway made of flowers that have been threaded through the wire. Fairy lights were strung around the trunk of the trees, light green ribbon bows stuck on the back of nearly every chair. It looked beautiful.

I eye the nervous groom standing under the arch, talking to his groomsmen. He looked like he was going to be sick.

“We’re late.” I don’t give Shawn a chance to speak as I rush to our seats, two spares at the back as we weren’t on time. We sit down and I notice Shawn’s gaping expression, his eyes wide.

“You took me to a fucking wedding?” He hisses in my ear, and I elbow him in the stomach to stop his complaining.

“Shut up, Becky is about to walk down the aisle.” I snap back, rising with the rest of the family. I look down to see Shawn still sitting there and I grab his collar, tugging him up so he’s standing next to me.

A flower girl begins her descent down the aisle and I try to ignore seeing Shawn pinching the bridge of his nose out of the corner of my eye. Bridesmaids wearing beautiful jade dresses come next, their hair up in elaborate braided buns.

Then came the bride. Becky looked stunning, her white dress was studded with tiny diamonds and when they caught the light, they shined. The silk hugged her figure and fell away into a train.

“You sneaky little thing.” I hear Shawn whisper in my ear, we were lucky to be at the back where no one could hear us and anyone who could was more preoccupied with the bride.

“Excuse you?” I don’t tear my eyes away from my cousin, her dress was causing me serious envy.

“You take me to a wedding, get me all loved up and then you’re going to strike. You’ve probably arranged our wedding, haven’t you?”

“I don’t know what you’re talking about.” I smile innocently at him and he huffs, falling silent as the ceremony begins.

I didn’t stop smiling.

As soon as the ceremony had finished, Shawn dragged me away before anyone had noticed we were there. In silence, we trek back to his car.

“You know we have to go to the reception right?”

“You do. I don’t.” He laughs at my disgruntled expression. The car comes into sight and we head towards it.

“But what if I get approached?” I ask him, giving him my daintiest smile.

“Approached? By who, your Grandpa?” Shawn snorts and unlocks the car.

“No.” I drag the sound out. “By an eligible bachelor who seeks my hand in marriage.”

I feel shocked at the sound of Shawn laughing, his head tilted back and eyes crinkled.

“Sorry princess but the government would never let you get married while your soulmate is living and breathing just across town from you.” The engine rumbles, and Shawn changes the gear into reverse.

“Then why don’t you come along just to make sure that it doesn’t happen.” I rest my hand on his forearm softly. He looks over at me quickly before sighing.

“You’re going to black mail me if I don’t say yes aren’t you?”

Three seconds of silence. He gives in.

“Where am I driving to?”

The reception was located in a pretty fancy restaurant and had a similar decorative touch to the wedding. There were already so many people here and I feel Shawn’s front press into my back so he doesn’t loose me in the crowded room. Leading the way I take him to our seats. My Mother looks up at the sound of chairs scraping against the wood flooring. Her mouth falls open.

“Who’s this Sweetie?” She prod’s, smiling at Shawn whose head whips to face me, disbelief clouding his eyes. We stay standing.

“Mum this is Shawn, Shawn this is… my Mother.” I watch as Shawn’s eyebrows raise, biting his lip to stop himself from saying something offensive to me in front of my mother.

“Nice to meet you Mam.” Shawn says formally, offering his hand for my Mother to shake.

“Likewise.” She shakes it, turning to face me.

“Shawn is my boyfriend.” I quickly tell her, yet my Mum’s face forms an expression of curiosity.

“I thought you were only going to date your soulmate Y/n.” Shawn audibly gulps. His arm snakes around my waist, pulling me into his side.

“We both have many years on our timer’s. We like each other so we thought why not get to know each other.” He tells my Mother, a frown etched onto his face. A relationship during the youthful years with someone who wasn’t your soulmate wasn’t illegal, although it was frowned upon by many people.

“Oh.” My Mother gasps while my mouth opens and closes, no words forming.

“You just lied to my Mother.” I whisper in his ear, Mum still staring at us.

“Would you rather me tell her we’re soulmates?” He rebuts, pulling out my seat and letting me sit down.

“She could easily check my arm and see my timer has gone.” My eyes flick to my sleeve covered arm, right where my timer would have been if it was still ticking.

“Then you will just have to cross that bridge when you come to it.” He frowns at me, resting a hand on my knee under the table. “Now I believe we are at a wedding and you wanted us to act like soulmates, care to dance?”

Somehow, from the time we got here and when we sat down, music had begun to play, a soft beat filling the room.

“I can’t believe you told her.” I mumble to him as he pulls me to the centre of the room where other dancing couples were located.

“I’m just trying to be what you expect me to be. You only have four weeks of this treatment so enjoy it while it lasts.” Shawn snaps and my face flushes in anger.

“I don’t expect you to be an ass Shawn, I don’t know what you want from this ‘trial’.” He rests a hand on my waist and the other holds my left hand.

“Most soulmates act irrationally, right? So that’s what I’m trying to do.” There’s a hint of sarcasm and I ignore it.

“When I asked you to give me a chance I didn’t mean change your entire personality.” I mutter, letting him sway us to the beat.

“I don’t do relationships Y/n, I’m sorry that I said the wrong thing to your Mum. Next time I just won’t say anything” He growls at me and I fall silent.

The music was classical; the instruments filling the dining hall, giving the atmosphere an old fashion feel.

“If you weren’t a member of the libertas would you still have treated me the same?” I ask him softly, meeting his hazel eyes.

“Even if I wasn’t I still have the same belief in soulmates Y/n.” He tells me, his eyes scanning my face.

“If soulmate’s didn’t exist would you want me?” I hold my breath, the question out in the open air.

“If you weren’t my soulmate I think I would have actually wanted to be with you- out of my own choice.” He lets my arm falls and I can’t speak, can’t move. I’m lost in the depth of his eyes. Even after everything he has said to me I want to pull him closer to me, into my embrace.

“Why tell me that? Why not just be with me because you like me?” He lets me rest a hand on his chest, right over his heart and the steady thump has me feeling giddy.

“All my life I’ve told myself that I’m not going to let the soulmate program dictate my life like it did for my Mum.” He whispers softly and we’re dancing again, his left hand glued to my right and his other hand on my waist. We’re chest to chest as we sway to the soft beat from the band.

“What happened with your Mum, Shawn?” I ask boldly, knowing he would either answer me or retreat away from me.

He takes a deep breath. “She was abused… by her soulmate, my Dad.” I let him talk, feeling a weight settle in my stomach. No one ever deserves to be treated the way I can only imagine Shawn’s Mum would have been treated.

“The one person the Government told her that was supposed to treasure her and take care of her was the one that haunted her nightmares and caused black and blue bruises to appear on her skin.” Shawn looks angry now, his hand tightening its grip on my own hand.

“What did she do?” My face is so close to his that I can see the faint flecks of gold in his hazel eyes.

“She put in a request form to the Government to leave her soulmate, so she could find someone else.” In society, when a person’s match dies, we can request to form a relationship with another single match.

“But because my Dad was still alive they forced her to stay with him.” He snarls, his frustration rolling off him. “She couldn’t find happiness with another person because they told her that she could only be happy with him. They partnered my Mother with a monster.”

He twirls me, my dress fanning out and I crash back into his chest ungracefully. Shawn doesn’t seem to care.

“I joined the libertas when my mother couldn’t take the violence any more and committed suicide.” He’s calm again. A sadness welling in his eyes. “I was only 13 and my Dad was the one who found her. He didn’t care that he did that to her. He just packed up his things and left.”

“Shawn.” I try to comfort him but I don’t think there was any measure of comfort I could offer considering what he’d been through. “I vowed that night when both my parents left me that I would never let my life be controlled by the Government the way my Mother’s life had been. Its been 8 years since then and not once have I ever broken that vow. Not until I met you.” His eyes hold my gaze and I feel a heat creep up over my cheeks.

“And that’s why you don’t want a soulmate.” I finish for him and he his hand moves further up my back so his palm is splayed firmly between my shoulder blades.

“That’s not all.” He mutters and I feel a chill creep up my spine. “I’m my father’s son, Y/n.”

“That doesn’t mean-”

“If I gave into this soulmate thing, gave into you,” He pauses to let his words settle and I feel my heart flutter at them. “Whose to say that I won’t turn into what my father was. Hurt my own soulmate who I was meant to look out for and take care of.”

“You’re not your father Shawn.” I tell him and he lets my hands go to cup his cheeks, stopping our dancing. “You’re not going to hurt me.”

“I already have.” He bites his lip and I scrunch my eyebrows in confusion. “When we first met at your school, Jeremy wanted me to take care of the witnesses, I said I would. You were one of them and I hurt you.”

“I don’t remember..?” I trail off, confused with where this was going. I remember having a lump on my head but I thought it was because I had fallen during the attack.

“I smashed your head against the wall and you blacked out.” He spits out and I feel a sick feeling rise in my belly.

“Shawn.” He can tell that I’m beginning to feel the effects of fear, fear of him.

“I watched as your eyes rolled to the back of your head and you passed out in my arms.” He’s put up his walls again. The shields that stop me from getting close. “And when I picked you up I remember how light and fragile you felt. I thought, how could I have done this to my soulmate?” He laughs, the sound harsh against my ears.

“You were just following what Jeremy said-” I try to excuse his actions but Shawn isn’t having it.

“There is no excuse for what I did. I hurt you before I even got to know you and I never want to put you in a situation like that again. If we’re together, you’re only going to be in danger.”

“I can handle it.” I beg him, pulling him to me as he tries to get out of my grip.

“There’s so many people who could hurt you for being with someone like me. It could be the libertas, Jeremy, the Government or what about your soulmate, huh? I could just as easily break you.” His words are sharp yet I don’t let them cut me.

“I trust you Shawn!” I say desperately and he stops struggling against my hold, stops talking, just stares at me. I wrap my arms back around him, over his shoulders and winding my fingers through his hair. Gripping the back of his head I push him forward until his lips touch mine.

I couldn’t breathe. His lips pressed feverishly onto mine and within a second he’s kissing me back. He leans closer to me and his hands are everywhere. On my hips, sliding up and over onto my back, the heat of his fingertips alighting a fire on my skin that made me dizzy.

He doesn’t part from me, instead kisses me harder, sending tremors along every nerve and evoking feelings I had tried to hide from him. I knew it now though. My arrogant, wilful soulmate had stolen a part of my heart, and I didn’t know if I would get it back.

Summary: After three months of loneliness and insecurities while on tour, Jungkook comes home to you.

Part 2

This is just pure fluff tbh. But Part 2 will much more explicit (and will be posted within the next two or three days at most). Enjoy!

You weren’t sure exactly how long you’d been sitting on the window seat with your knees pulled into your chest, the cool wall leaching all the warmth from your spine through the thick material of your hoodie. All day you’d been lounging in the comfort of your apartment, basking in the calming serenity of the pouring rain pattering against the wide window. The view of the Seoul skyline piercing the gray swirling clouds above was beautiful in the most hazy and sleepy way, almost as if the entirety of South Korea had just woken up from a Saturday-afternoon nap and hadn’t yet wiped the sleep from its eyes.

Saturdays were one of your favorite days, mainly because you didn’t have to worry about your usual responsibilities of college and work. You preferred to spend most of your Saturdays at home to recharge before having to finish up any assignments you’d been procrastinating over on Sunday, and you often found yourself devoting Saturdays to pampering yourself. Eating whatever you wanted, messily slathering on a face mask, taking a long steaming bath to relax your tense muscles, the works. At that point in the day, you’d already cooked yourself chocolate chip pancakes (You woke up around 11:30am, but who’s to say pancakes have to be reserved solely for breakfast time?) while your favorite moisturizing mask was caked on your skin. You stuffed the fluffy, sweet deliciousness in your face ravenously as you binge-watched YouTube videos, the only worry you had being that you may not have enough syrup.

Now you sat, four hours later, curled up by the window, still sucked into the void that is YouTube and enjoying the melancholy rainfall that was baptizing the streets of Seoul.

As much as you loved Saturdays, you couldn’t help but feel sad that you’d spent so many without your boyfriend around to participate in the self-care. The two of you had made it a tradition to spend Saturdays together and bond over cartoons and unhealthy snacks. Even though he basically lived with you when he wasn’t forced to stay at the dorms or travel for a tour, Jungkook was insistent on coming over and talking about each of your weeks through mouthfuls of pizza.

Lost Souls

Summary: You’ve been able to see them for as long as you could remember. Ghosts. Spirits. Souls. It didn’t matter what you called them, they plagued you day and night. Reapers couldn’t always convince them to pass on to the other side, which meant you saw them all the time. You’d stopped trying to help after a vengeful spirit had tried to kill you ten years ago.

That all changes when you see a handsome ghost protect someone from… other ghosts?

AU where Bucky dies in 1945 and never becomes the Winter Soldier.

Pairing: Ghost!Bucky x Reader, Steve x Reader (platonic)

Warnings: Language (as always), mentions of death/violence

Word Count: ~4,419 (why am I like this)

A/N: Third one shot in the monster series. One more left (four total for my 400 follower celebration).

This makes me sad to write just on principle… But stick with it, folks, and I promise an incubus Bucky for the last part.

You didn’t look at them. The ghosts. In fact, you avoided eye contact with almost everyone. If people died in recent years it was almost impossible to tell them apart from the living. Sometimes it was obvious; people wore clothing from two hundred years ago, or used slang you didn’t understand.

The wicked scar that stretched from your left shoulder to the left side of your stomach was enough of a reminder of why you avoided them.

You’d tried to help them, once. The dead, that is. You’d tried to help them finish whatever business they had and get them to move on, but when a vengeful spirit took its anger out on you and nearly killed you, you’d promised yourself you wouldn’t interfere with their world again.

You’d gotten pretty good at spotting ghosts without them spotting you over the years; you’d had to. Though you still flinched a little every time you walked through one, trying to blend in with the people around you.

You were walking home, sipping your coffee on a chilly October afternoon when you spotted him for the first time.

He was following a tall, muscular blond man closely. Even from far away you could see his steel blue eyes scanning his surroundings carefully, his posture tense. If you had to guess by the clothing and rifle strapped to his back, you’d guess he’d died in the 1940′s; you’d seen enough World War II ghosts to recognize their weapons by now. His dark brown hair was also in a style indicative of the late 30′s and early 40′s.

What surprised you, though, was the fact that he wasn’t wearing a uniform. It was also surprising that he was sticking so closely to the blond man, but didn’t seem to be trying to talk to him. Usually when ghosts fixated on a person they were yelling bloody murder trying to get the person’s attention (not that it ever did them any good).

Yeah, Pass The Salt, Stiles

Here’s my latest entry for @sterek-bingo! I’ve never tried writing a soulmate AU before, so this was a ton of fun. Enjoy!

This story was written for the Soulmates square on my BINGO card. (AO3 link here).

Yeah, Pass The Salt, Stiles

Stiles has always maintained that if Scott weren’t quite so slow on the uptake, they could totally be soulmates.

When they were kids, this thought depressed him; now, he has to admit, he’s more relieved than anything else. He loves Scotty to pieces, but jeez, does Allison have to put up with a lot. Besides, although platonic soulmates do exist, very occasionally, Stiles is a romantic at heart, and he definitely, definitely doesn’t see Scott that way.

It happened when they were four years old, and they met at the playgroup both their moms sent them to. They’d been doing that thing kids do when they play alongside each other but not actually together, and as a consequence they’d spent the entire morning together without actually talking. That was enough for Stiles to decide that he wanted Scott as his soulmate.

The one where it was time to move on.

The second addition to the Divorce Series AU. Let me know if you guys are enjoying it, if I should continue writing it. ENJOY! :)

When the divorce was finalized, it was everywhere. It was the cover story on every newspaper and magazine. Questions were thrown left and right, but the two of you made sure that the kids were kept out of this. You had majority custody of you’re the kids, not because Harry was a bad father, but since he was the busy one out of the two of you, the kids were at a tender age, and they needed to be taken care of. You were the right choice for now.

Words: 3,507

Warnings: High school au + fluff

Description: You’ve always been the thought girl in school, but there was one person who always made you soft—Kim Taehyung, your crush.

How stupid can someone be when it comes to love?

The answer is: not as stupid as you.

When it came to love, you were a complete idiot.

You haven’t really been in love so many times, but the times that you were, it was a disaster. You always ended up with your heart broken or getting your feelings hurt.

After your heart was broken for the last time, you told yourself that you wouldn’t fall in love again until you were older and had your shit together.

That was a big, big lie.

Because sadly, you can’t really control whether you fall in love or not. So as a result, you did end up falling in love again.

You fell in love with a close friend—well—he was more of your brother’s close friend, but he was also your friend.

Kim Taehyung.

He was so amazing. Whenever you spoke to him, you felt like you could listen to his voice for hours.

You fell in love with everything about him. His smile. His chuckle. His laugh. His eyes. The way his eyes look when he’s standing out in the sun. He was beautiful.

You just wished that he saw you the same way.

He didn’t know that you were madly in love with him. No one knew except for you. You were good at hiding your feelings, but also terrible at it.

Whenever you saw Taehyung, you were like a deer in headlights. You froze. You don’t know why he had this sort of affect on you.

When you saw him, you just stopped everything and started blushing like crazy. Whenever he walked into a room that you were in, you couldn’t help but stare. He was just so good looking. How could you not?

You’ve been in love with him for the past year and a half. Surely he should’ve known by now, but you’re way too afraid to admit your feelings. You’re scared that he’ll reject you and you’d get your heart broken once again, since that’s what always seems to happen.

Maybe if you had a bit more courage, you could admit it to him, but sadly, all the courage you normally had disappeared when it came to Taehyung. You could barely think straight when he was around.

And that’s what made you such an idiot.

“Skipping classes again? Are you actually trying to get in trouble with mom and dad again?” Your brother asked you as he started driving his car.

You sat in the passengers seat, playing on your phone and not really paying attention to your brother who was trying to scold you. “They won’t find out.” You say.

“If you keep doing it then they will. Why do you keep skipping important classes? You know you need to pass History to graduate right?”

“That’s stupid. Why do I need to learn about most of that stuff? Maybe if they taught us how to get a job and how to pay taxes in school, then I’d actually consider going.” You explained. “And don’t act like you’ve never skipped a class, Jin.”

“I don’t skip as much as you do. And don’t try to turn this on me. Do I have to remind you that I graduate in four months? I already have all my shit together.” Your brother says.

You rolled your eyes.

“Jin, don’t be so hard on her. I’m sure that last year we all skipped just as much classes as she did.” A voice came from the backseat, reminding you that there was another person in the car.

Hearing his voice sent butterflies to your stomach. You just kept looking at your phone, trying your hardest not to turn around and look at the beauty that was sat one row behind you.

“Sure, we skipped. But that’s not the only bad thing y/n has done. She’s always getting into fights and getting in trouble. Y/n, I wish you weren’t such a rebel all the time.” Your brother tells you.

“What can I say? I hate listening to other people.” You commented.

“Everyone gets into a little trouble during high school.” Taehyung says. “Besides, I think that y/n being a rebel is really cool.”

You almost forgot how to breathe after he let out that last sentence. He complimented you! Sure, this wasn’t a new thing, but whenever he did it, it made you feel like you were an angel.

“All I’m saying is that maybe y/n should at least try to focus on school. How are you supposed to graduate next year if you’re always in trouble and barely in class?” Jin asks.

“Don’t worry about me. I’ll be fine.” You said. You were never worried about graduating. You knew that it would happen eventually.

Yeah, you skipped class a lot, but you were actually really smart. You’ve failed some classes, but you’ve always gotten your grades back up. You weren’t a straight A student, but you weren’t failing every class and that’s what matters.

“You need to be more like y/n, Jin. She’s so cool and laid back. You’re always worried about something. Y/n is always relaxed and calm about everything.” Taehyung complimented you yet again.

You smiled and blushed, but tried your best to hide it.

Why did he have such an affect on you by barely doing anything?

Your phone fell out of your hands and dropped to your lap as a volleyball suddenly hit your hand.

You were sitting on the bleachers outside of school, bored, while some girls on the volleyball team were practicing.

“Watch out!” And annoying voice calls. “Emma.” You groaned. You absolutely despised her. She always did anything she could to piss you off.

“Why would you say ‘watch out’ after the ball hit me, idiot?” You asked, grabbing the ball that had previously hit you.

“Oops. My bad.” Emma says, giggling.

“You’re such a bitch, you know that?” You asked, standing up from where you were seated on the bleachers and walking down to the ground.

“Whatever, just give the ball back so we can finish our game.” She rolled her eyes.

“Of course, Emma.” You put on the fakest smile you could before tossing the ball at her, “accidentally” hitting her in the face.

The ball fell to the ground and the look on Emma’s face was hilarious. She looked so pissed off. Payback, bitch.

“Y/n, you’re gonna get it!” Emma yells, running to you and slapping you.

She shouldn’t have done that.

Your parents always said “don’t start a fight with anyone unless they hit you first. If they’re the first one to make a move, then you have our permission to send them back to whatever hell they came from.”

“You don’t know what you just started.” Was all you said before pushing her to the ground.

Emma grabbed you, pulling you to the ground with her, sending punches and kicks your way.

“Let go of me!” You tell her as she grabbed a fist full of your hair.

“Bitch!” Emma yelled, not letting go.

You two fought. You were at an advance, getting on top of her and trying to get her to stop hitting you. You’re pretty sure she even tried to bite you.

“Calm down, crazy.” You said, hitting her after she had hit you.

By now, a crowd had gathered around the two of you, enjoying the “entertainment”.

“Y/n!” You heard someone call.

You held down Emma’s arms and turned your head to see who the person was.

Taehyung. Of course, it was Taehyung.

Your eyes widened and you lost your train of thought for a second. What were you doing again?

Oh right, fighting.

Just as you were about to turn back to face Emma, who was still underneath you, she freed her arm from your grasp and punched you, in the face.

You yelled, letting go of her and holding your nose, which was now bleeding.

You held your nose with one hand, and almost punched her with the other, but then you were pulled away by someone.

“Y/n, stop!” You hear your brother yell as he pulled you away from the girl. “The fuck is wrong with you?” Jin asked, turning to Emma, who was being checked on by her friends.

Jin turned you around to face him and his eyes widened. “Jesus Christ, y/n. Why are you always getting yourself in trouble?” He asked, taking a tissue out of his book bag and handing it to you.

“She started it.” You said, placing the tissue on your nose.

Taehyung stood beside Jin, watching you. “Y/n, are you okay? Does it hurt?” He asks.

“I’m fine. Don’t worry.”

“Good. Even though you’re bleeding, you still beat her ass.” Taehyung says, putting his fist out for you to bump it with your fist. “She deserved everything she got.”

You smiled and put your fist out when Jin pushed your hand away and sighed. “Taehyung! Stop encouraging her!” Jin hit Taehyung on the back of his head.

Taehyung just laughed and looked at you, winking.

You tried to hold back your blushing. He had such an impact on you. How could he make you blush in just a matter of seconds?

“Y/n, I️ think you need a big ice pack. Your whole face is turning red. And—gross! I think your nose is throbbing!” Your brother tells you.

Your nose wasn’t the only thing throbbing, but also your heart. Maybe you needed a big ice pack for your heart too.

“So your making dinner tonight?” You asked your brother as you two walked down the hallways of your high school.

“Yep. Mom put me in charge of making dinner. I️ know I️ won’t disappoint.” Your brother smiles, feeling a little too confident in himself.

You laughed. “You better not.”

“I️ won’t. You know how well I️ cook. You love it when I️ cook.”

“You’re cooking?” You hear a voice.

He approached the two of you and began walking with you.

“Yeah. Y/n, tell Tae how good of a cook I️ am.” Jin says.

“He—Jin—he makes—y-yeah. He’s a good cook.” You stuttered, mentally facepalming yourself.

“Aw yeah! I’m definitely coming over tonight.” Tae announced as you three approached your locker.

Looking at your locker, you saw that there was a piece of paper on it. Written on the piece of paper, in big red letters: “you got beat up by Emma. Guess you’re not so tough after all?”

Your jaw dropped and Jin and Taehyung read the paper also, wanting to know what had you so shocked.

People who passed by your locker saw the note and laughed. They laughed at you.

Your brother ripped the note off of your locker. “Who the hell wrote this?” He asked, yelling in the hallway. No one answered. Who would? “Who did it?”

“Jin. Just forget it.” You sighed, taking the note from his hands and crumpling it up. You placed it in the nearby trash can and opened your locker.

As soon as you opened your locker, another note caught your eye.

“You’re weak. Y/n y/l/n is weak. Emma beat you up.”

“What the fuck.” Jin says. “Who the fuck is doing this?”

You just grabbed the note and threw it in the trash, just like you had done with the other one.

You got your books and closed your locker, turning to face the two boys that stood in front of you.

“Is that y/n?” You hear some girl ask her friend. The girl stood on the other side of the hallway. “I’m surprised she came to school today. I️ would be embarrassed to show my face in school if I️ got beat up by Emma.”

“I️ know right.” The girl’s friend replied. “I️ would call it bravery, but let’s be honest, y/n is a coward.”

“I️ heard she started yelling at Emma and then hit her. That’s why Emma started fighting her. Well, she got beat up. It serves her right for hitting Emma first.”

You felt tears build up in your eyes. Why were they talking about you so openly like this?

You quickly wiped your eyes, hoping no one would see.

“Y/n…” Your brother trailed off. As he was about to speak again, the bell rung, signaling that class was starting soon.

“I️ have to get to class. I’ll see you later, okay?”

You rushed to your class, not waiting for your brother or his friend to say anything else.

You were so embarrassed.

“Y/n.” You hear someone call. You were walking in the hallway in between classes because you had to get something from your locker.

You turned to see who the voice was coming from. It was a girl. Her name was Melanie. She wasn’t a friend of yours, mainly because the way she treated people was terrible. You always decided to just stay away from her.

“I️ can’t really talk right now. I️ have to hurry and get back to class.” You say, reaching your locker.

“I’ll make it short then.” She says, catching up to you. Melanie stood in front of you. She was taller than you, so she towered above you, looking down at you.

“I️ heard from someone that you wanted to fight me. Is that true? Because we could fight right now if you really want to.” She says.

“What? I️ never said that.” You tell her.

“Are you sure? The person that told me this wouldn’t lie to me. I️ know that. Why won’t you just admit that you want to fight me? You scared?” Melanie asked.

“No. I️ don’t want to fight you. Look, I️ really need to get back to—”

Before you could finish your sentence, you felt a sharp smack on your left cheek.

“What the hell?” You asked.

“That’s for telling people you want to fight me. You act so tough with other people, but your not so tough now, are you?” She asks.

You put your hand on your cheek. “I️ never said I️ wanted to fight you. This is stupid.”

“So now you’re calling me stupid?”

“I️ didn’t say that.” You sighed. “Can you just leave? I️ need to get back to class.” You started to walk away, not bothering to get anything out of your locker anymore.

“Hey!” Melanie called after you. “Don’t walk away. I’m talking to you.” She says, grabbing a fistful of your shirt and slamming you against a nearby set of lockers.

“Let go of me.” You tell her.

“Or else what? What are you gonna do about it? Fight me?” She asks, laughing.

“Just leave me alone.” You say.

“What? You gonna cry? I️ heard that’s what you did when you fought Emma.” Melanie chuckles.

“I️ didn’t cry when I️ fought her. I’m not gonna cry now. Now let me go and leave me alone.” You tried to walk away again but Melanie slammed you against the lockers again. This time, you hit your head on one of the lockers.

You held your head in pain and yelled. You weren’t that loud, so you’re sure that no one in any classroom heard you.

“Let go of her!” You heard a voice shout. A familiar voice.

As if this day couldn’t get worse, Taehyung ran over to where Melanie had you pinned to a locker.

“Let her go, Melanie.” He says.

“Whatever.” Melanie rolled her eyes, letting go of you and walking away. “This isn’t over, y/n.” She called.

“Yes, it is over.” Tae said to her. Melanie stopped walking and turned to face the two of you.

“Wow, y/n. You need someone to stand up for you? Is it because you’re too weak to stand up for yourself? How pathetic. I️ thought you were better than that, y/n.” She laughed before waking away saying, “wait til’ the rest of the school hears about this.”

Taehyung turned to face you. He saw you holding your head and moved closer to you, inspecting your head. He must’ve seen nothing there because you just looked back at you, sighing.

“Y/n, are you okay?” He asks, looking you in your eyes.

“Why did you do that?” You asked. “Why did you come over here?”

“She was hurting you.” He says.

“You made it worse. Now she’s just gonna tell the whole school that I’m too much of a loser to stand up for myself.” You tell him.

“How were you even supposed to stand up for yourself if she had you pinned against a locker?” Tae asked. “It doesn’t matter. You shouldn’t have come.” You sighed.

“Y/n. She was hurting you. What was I️ supposed to do? Just stand there and watch you get hurt?”

“Why do you care? Why can you just leave it alone, Taehyung?”

“Because I️ don’t like to see you like this. People are picking on you, and you’re letting them. You’ve changed, y/n. Ever since you got into that fight with Emma. People are calling you weak and you’re starting to believe them.” He explained.

“Maybe I️ am weak. Maybe everything they say about me is true.” You said, looking down at the floor.

“Are you stupid? Y/n, you’re not weak. You’re one of the strongest girls I️ know.”

“You’re just saying that because you don’t want me to feel bad.”

“No. I’m saying it because it’s true.” He says. “I️ need you to stop letting people walk all over you. This isn’t you, y/n. The real you would curse someone out before they even try to bully you. The real y/n is not weak.”

You turned around, not wanting him to see you. You didn’t want him to see the tears that poured down your face right now.

“You’re not weak, y/n. I️ know you’re not. Your brother knows your not.”

“But the whole school thinks I️ am.” You wiped your tears with the sleeves of the shirt you wore.

“Since when do you care what the people in school think?” He asked.

He was right. You never cared about what the rest of the school thought until recently.

Taehyung was right. You are changing.

You tried to wipe the rest of your tears away but they kept coming.

“Y/n, look at me.” Tae says.

You shook your head. “I️ don’t want you to see me cry.”

“You think I️ care?” Tae asks, placing his hands on your shoulders and turning you around to face him.

Taehyung used both of this thumbs to wipe away your tears as he looked you in your eyes.

“I️ know who you are, y/n. I️ know you’re strong. You’re not weak, no matter what anyone says.” He says.

You just looked up at him, not knowing what to say.

“You know,” Tae starts, looking at the floor before looking back up at you. “even when you’re crying, you’re still so pretty.”

His words caught you off guard. Did he just—?

“I'm—what?” You asked.

Taehyung smiles at your cluelessness. “You’re pretty. Do I️ have to say it again? Because I️ will if I️ have to.”

You looked up at him, blinking several times just to make sure you weren’t dreaming.

“You’re so cute.” He smiles after seconds of you just looking up at him with doe eyes. “Come here.” He says, pulling you in for a hug. He hugged you tight. You didn’t know what to do. You wrapped your arms loosely around him, still shocked at what was happening.

“You think that I️ don’t know about your little crush on me, right?” He whispered in your ears.

You gasped, eyes widening and Taehyung chuckled.

“You know?” You asked, quietly.

“Yes I️ know.” He says, looking at you. “I’ve always known.” He smiles.

“So what now? You’re going to tease me forever for having a crush on you?” You ask.

Taehyung chuckles once again. “If people get teased for having crushes then I️ think I️ should get teased as well because I️ have this huge crush on the girl standing in front of me.”

Your eyes widened once again. “What?”

“You’re so adorable. How about we go get some ice cream or something after school? I’m sure Jin won’t mind.” Taehyung suggested.

You nodded, not trusting your voice to speak.

Taehyung smiles and placed a quick peck on your nose, sending butterflies down your stomach.

“Great! Then I’ll see you after last period.” He says, taking his hands off of you and starting to walk away, leaving you by the lockers, a shocked mess.

“Wait.” He says, stopping and turning back around. “I️ think I’m forgetting something.” He says, walking back towards you.

Before you could even process what was going on, soft lips had attached themselves to yours. Soft, warm lips. They felt amazing.

Taehyung pulled away and smiled.

“Okay. Now I’m ready to go back to class. See you later, babe.”

A Home, For The Holidays

For:  @palmettofoxden from @onlycareaboutexy
Title: A Home, For The Holidays
Pairing: Kandreil
Theme: Soulmate AU
Rating: M
Warnings: None

Notes: My @aftgexchange entry! This is just pure Christmas fluff, which was not the fic I intended on writing— In the last week and a half, I wrote somewhere in the region of 13k of “prequel” to this verse focusing on the boys navigating the early phases of their relationship, but then I realised that:

1) I was never gonna get that finished on time and still do justice to the themes I wanted to cover, and

2) it really didn’t focus on the holidays the way the spirit of the Exchange intends it should, so I just skipped straight to the good stuff and wrote this.

I’ll be posting the rest of the story eventually when I get it a bit more hammered out, but for now, please enjoy these little post-graduation snapshots. I tried to adhere to the guidelines given and include as many of them as possible; it’s a Soulmate AU with hints of Hurt/Comfort, and it’s very heavily Kandreil.
