Imagine Castiel outing your secret relationship with him

Gif submitted by the beautiful @sortaathief

“So I had her legs wrapped around my head,” Dean’s eyes widen in delight as he recounted last night’s venture. You half listened, eyes glanced over at Castiel; who was standing over Sam as he researched on his laptop. The angel looked at you and smiled softly; you looked down to your lap, trying to hide a smirk.

“And then she did this one thing with her tongue,” Dean groaned in remembrance. You laughed and playfully shoved the hunter.

“Yeah, I heard you,” you smirked.

You starred blankly at the computer screen sat in front of you while tapping your finger on the large oak desk trying to find some inspiration for your next article. Anything would do just to get your creativity flowing but nothing. not even a single word.

You slowly scanned the room hoping to derive something from the extravagant objects strung around your office. A single orchid on a small hall table against a bare wall, a Greek goddess statue in one corner, some kind of leafy indoor plant in the other corner, that you weren’t even sure if it was real as you had never seen anybody water it and a large painting hung from another wall.

Your eyes stopped on the painting and you tilted your head as you examined it. You loved art but you could never understand what the painting was trying to convey, you much preferred fine art to contemporary. To you it was just a bunch of parallel lines with a few colourful squares, nothing more. But you kept it across from your desk because Seung hyun had given it to you for your birthday.

You had met him and the other members of big bang when you had to interview them for the magazine you worked for, you and Seung hyun hit it off almost right away and over time you had become good friends. Your personalities fit perfectly, you were childish and loved to make others laugh, no matter what you looked like in the process. But you also had a darker side, a side you never liked to show anyone, instead opting to shut yourself away and Seung hyun understood that perfectly. He never pushed you into anything you didn’t want to do or make you talk about how you felt, he would just be there when you needed someone beside you, as you did with him. You smiled to yourself as your thoughts got lost in the memories of his bingu moments, trying to make you smile at the most inappropriate times.

You were snapped out of your trance by a knock on the door.

“Come in”

The door opened and in walked your boss. A balding man with a comb over, approaching his 50’s who always wore a suit and drove the most ridiculously expensive sports car you had ever seen, apart from Jiyongs. You were convinced that he was having a mid-life crisis but then again almost all of the business men you knew in Seoul were the same way.

“Ahh Miss _____ you look stunning as always”

He was always like this and it made you uncomfortable. Even though he had never actually done anything to be deemed inappropriate you couldn’t help but feel weary in his presence.

“Thank you. what can I do for you Mr Lee?”

“I wanted to talk about the last article you sent me”

“Is there a problem sir?”

He stepped closer towards your desk.

“The subject matter is fine, as a modern day magazine I don’t mind exploring new pathways but I feel..”

He paused as he slowly made his way around the room and sat on your desk, his body facing you, his knee brushed against your own and you shifted in your chair at the sudden contact.

“I feel like the quality of your writing was not as good. You see Miss _____ we need to engage our readers by telling them a story. We need to be as enthralled about the subject as if it were our own passion.”

“I’m sorry sir. I will rewrite the article and send it back to you right away”

A smirk formed across his lips.

“It’s ok _____-ssi but I think it’s best if we go over it together….just to make sure”

He lent forward placing his hand on your exposed knee. You stared at his hand for a while before looking back up at him wide eyed.

“O-of course Mr Lee”

He gave your knee a little rub before removing his hand. he stood from the desk and made his way to the door.

“I will have my secretary call to book a time around your schedule” he said before leaving.

You opened the front door to your studio apartment and threw your keys and handbag on the corner lounge as you gazed out your balcony doors at the glittering city lights adorning the night sky and sighed.

“I had better get some work done”

You sat down at the dinner table and opened your laptop. you flicked through the files looking for the last article you had submitted when you heard a knock at the door.

You opened the door to find the members of Bigbang grinning back at you. Seungri and Daesung with arms full of food, Seung hyun clutching at a box full of what you could only assume was wine, while Jiyong and Taeyang stood empty handed.

“What are you guys doing here?” you asked as you furrowed your brow at them.

“Don’t tell me you forgot our date noona” asked Seungri with a cheeky grin

“Shut up Seungri. Are you going to let us in or would you like us to take our party else where?” Seung hyun asked while he pretended to walk away.

“Is it Friday already? Aish I’m so sorry, I completely spaced. I’ve just been so busy with work I totally forgot” you apologised as you opened the door wider allowing them to come inside.

“It’s ok noona, we can relate” Jiyong reassured you as he kissed you on the cheek and then entered the apartment.

“I can’t, how could you forget about us?” Seungri pouted at you.

“Seungri cut it out, she doesn’t need you bothering her with your horrible attempts at flirting” Seung hyun scolded as he pushed him out of the way and into the apartment. “But he is right” Seung hyun whispered to you with a grin as he went passed.

You closed the door behind them and began to clean up the table, removing your things so you could all sit down and eat.

“What are you working on?” Seung hyun asked pointing at your laptop while opening one of the many bottles of wine that he brought.

“Oh it’s nothing, I just have to redo one of my articles. Mr Lee thought it lacked passion” you said rolling your eyes and you heard Seung hyun tisk. He never liked your boss and told you on many occasions.

“What’s it about?” Daesung asked genuinely interested.

“The modern art scene in Seoul and some up and coming artists” you replied.

“Oh why don’t you get hyung to help you?” Jiyong asked.

“I personally know he would love to help you” Seungri said with a cheeky grin, Seung hyun hit him across the back of the head as he placed the wine bottle on the table and went to the kitchen bringing back some wine glasses.

“It’s ok, Mr Lee wants to work on it with me”

“I don’t think that’s a good idea” Seung hyun said through gritted teeth as he focused on pouring the wine into the glasses.

“And why not?” you asked raising your eye brows.

“Because he’s a creep and he has a major thing for you” Seung hyun said with a tightly clenched jaw.

“Ah, you’re over reacting. He’s my boss, it’s not like that” You said shaking your head.

“I’ve seen the way he looks at you and I don’t like it, this is a bad idea” Seung hyun said in a stern voice.

“Well I’m a big girl and I can take care of myself, besides he’s my boss, it’s not like I can just say no. It’s fine, really” you said assuringly.

“Just promise me you wont be alone with him, I don’t trust him” Seung hyun sighed as he slid one of the glasses towards you.

“I think that’s just the comb over hyung” Jiyong joked causing everyone to laugh.

“Shall we eat?” you said trying to change the subject, you couldn’t promise him something you knew you would have to break. He was your boss and you had your own office, you were bound to be alone with him, in fact you were this afternoon and nothing happened, not really.

The six of you sat around for what seemed like hours eating, drinking and laughing at the guys tour stories, which mostly consisted of Seungri making a fool out of himself some way or another.

“Noona, you should take some time off and come with us one time” Taeyang suggested.

“It would be fun but, I don’t want to deal with all those crazy girls that follow you around all the time” you laughed.

“Well how about a weekend away at Jeju?” Jiyong asked with his famous gummy smile.

“Great idea hyung, how about this weekend?” Seungri chimed.

“But I have so much to do, I have to finish my next article plus, go back and fix the other one” you said biting your lip, you couldn’t deny you were tempted. You had been working a lot lately and had barely had any time to have fun and be you.

“I thought you said Mr Lee was going to help you with that” Daesung asked.

“Well yes but, I wanted to have it done before hand, to show him that I’m capable of handling it. It’s hard being a foreign woman in Seoul, I have to prove myself more then anyone else”.

“Ok well how about you come with us tomorrow, we will give you some time to work on whatever you need to work on and we can hang out in between and just to sweeten the pot, we will even pay for the whole weekend” Jiyong said fluttering his eyes at you.

“Ah, ok. But, you have to promise to let me work when I need to” you said pointing a finger at him and he gasped.

“Of course” Jiyong said with a over the top shocked look like he was offended.

“Well it’s a deal then, I guess we should head home and get some rest for the big weekend” Taeyang said as he got out of his chair, the others followed one by one heading to the door, Seung hyun last with you trailing behind him. When you got to the door Seung hyun stopped and turned to face you.

“Don’t work late tonight, we’ll come by to pick you up at seven” he smiled at you as he placed his hand on your arm.

“I promise I wont work late, see you tomorrow” you smiled back at him.

“So we doubt he’ll ask you to do much, if anything at the beginning, to be honest with you, Y/N.” Sam Wilson said as he showed you to the Captain’s office with Natasha Romanoff.
“Right okay, I can deal with that.” I nodded confidently.
“He will be an ass in the morning until he gets coffee.” Natasha added.
“Can’t be more of an ass than me.” Sam laughed at that.
“We’ll see. Here’s his office but I’ve got to fly, see ya around, Y/N.”
Natasha shook her head slightly. “That man. Let’s introduce you to the Captain.” She knocked on the door before walking in.
“The point of knocking is so the other person can let you in, Romanoff.” Captain America sat at a desk, still in uniform looking every part America’s idol.
“I avoid the traditional, Rogers. Meet Y/N L/N, your new assistant.” Natasha stated as the Captain quickly stood from his seat. He brushed his hands off on his legs and walked around to greet us.
“Hi, call me Steve.” We briefly shook hands.
“Y/N.” I smiled at him as we stepped back.
“Romanoff, a word.” Steve stepped out into the hall way with Natasha and I could barely make out what they were saying.
“You didn’t tell me she was going to be like that!”
“Like what? An assistant?” Natasha’s blunt tone brought a slight smile to my face as I awkwardly stood in Steve’s office. “As in stunning, Romanoff!” I blushed furiously as I scuffed my toe across the carpet. I couldn’t hear the rest of their conversation as I hurried to get the blush off my cheeks and look half professional. I brushed my self off and stood up straight just as Steve walked back in, a faint rosy tint to his cheeks.
“In here is your office, you’re free to do what you like with it.” Steve led me into a medium sized office which was connected to his, with just glass panelling to separate us. He stood in the doorway as I wandered in a placed my bag down on the desk and placed my jacket on the back of the chair.
“What can I do for you first?” I asked politely.
“Anything you want. I don’t really see why I need an assistant.” Steve shrugged and plopped himself back down at his desk.
“Well considering your paperwork is over lapping on your desk you have no organisation method there and you look hanging so you need coffee. So, Milk or sugar?” I had a hand on my hip which was cocked to the side.
“I…err…um… milk no sugar please.” Steve stuttered through his words.
“See? That wasn’t so hard was it?” I turned and walked out the office back to the common room that Sam had pointed out on the way there. I busied myself with rummaging through the cupboards, looking for everything I needed.
“So you’re the one looking after Capsicle now then?” A voice appeared next to me making me jump slightly.
“I’m Steve’s new assistant yes.” I nodded and leant on the counter to look at the one and only Tony Stark. “Now let me guess. You’re Tony Stark and before you give me a lecture about your precious tower, you can get over yourself. I’ll treat you and your things with respect if you do the same for me. Kapish?”
“I like you kiddo, what’s your name?”
“Y/N L/N.”
Tony gave me a long look and sipped his whiskey. “I prefer Lieutenant. You know, like Captain and Lieutenant.”
“Whatever you say, Stark.”
I grabbed the now made coffee and disappeared back to the office where Steve was still doing paperwork, occasionally tapping on his computer.
“Coffee for the Captain.” I winked as I placed it on his desk before scooping up the papers he wasn’t using.
Steve took a long sip of the hit drink. “I needed that.”
“I know. Y/N always knows. Now, chronological order is fine right? Of course it is.” I moved away with the papers and already started to organise the paperwork on the shelving system.
“Right.” Steve muttered but I didn’t think I was supposed to hear it.

… … …

The next day I was in bright and early, Steve’s coffee already made for when he came in as I colour coded the files he had been working on last night since I didn’t get a chance to. I was organising my desk with my personal things when he walked in. I ran a hand through my H/C hair and waited for him to notice. I had left a small note on the screen of his laptop.
“She’s good.” Natasha’s voice filled the office space as her form leant against the doorframe. “She’s already colour coded and chronologically ordered your files.”
“Gosh, that’s a lot for a few hours.”
I quietly sipped my frappucino from Starbucks. Good stuff. They continued their conversation but I figured it would have been rude to interrupt. I typed away on my laptop, setting up my settings.
“Thank you, Y/N.” Steve was stood in front of my desk
“For what?” I leant forward on my arms to speaks to him.
“For the coffees. The coding. The organisation. Just everything you’ve done so far.” Steve awkwardly smiled and put a hand on my shoulder.
“It’s nothing, Steve. Don’t worry about it.”

My air conditioning has been broken this whole weekend and while I was a good sport about it on Friday, yesterday was ROUGH. But today it’s back down to the 60s outside and we have a new person booked to come fix it (maybe this one will actually….. show up!) and I am going to try to update the Hunger Games AU by this evening! Now that I can think straight (I couldn’t even use my laptop yesterday, its presence on my lap made me too hot ;__;), the odds are more in my favor. WISH ME LUCK

Also last night I had multiple TLJ dreams, one was a new preview featuring a POV of a mad dash through some First Order base that was under attack. I was looking everywhere for Hux but couldn’t spot him, also the characters were all LEGO people (but I was still excited/concerned about finding LEGO Hux)

Today, I fucked up... by changing my husband's desktop photo

This happened last night, not today, but still less than 24 hours ago.

So my husband LOVES birds, all kinds of birds. He thinks they are great. He is especially fond of ducks. Last night while he was in the kitchen prepping a snack, I thought it would be fun to change the desktop photo on his laptop (he had left it open on the couch). I found a cute duck picture, made it his desktop background, set the laptop back on the couch, and made my way innocently back to the kitchen table where I had also been having a snack.

My husband finishes his snack a little while later and heads back to the couch while I remain at the table. He pulls his computer towards him and goes, “OMG honey look! Ducks!” As he stands up holding his laptop and tries to come to me, he trips and falls over the glass end table we have, shattering it. If that wasn’t bad enough, he fell onto his macbook, smashing it completely open and crushing it. If that also wasn’t bad enough, he also broke his wrist because of how he fell on it since he was holding the laptop.

I feel like a terrible person, but my husband still loves ducks.

TL;DR: My husband got so overexcited over a picture of ducks I procured that he broke himself, a table, and his macbook.

And this is why you never threaten someone permanently stuck in survival mode.

(warning: long story)

Been enjoying this blog, and thought I’d post my own story here. While not as epic as some of these or as clever as nobody ended up in jail or out thousands of dollars, for me it was a pretty important victory.

Regarding the survival mode thing - years ago I was living with a couple of friends and lost both my job and my place to live within the same 24 hours when the economy shit itself and the bank foreclosed on the owner where we were staying. Had about two weeks to get out, and I ended up homeless and living in my car for two years. That’s another story entirely. The point, however, is when living in a large city in a vehicle, your survival mode kicks in constantly. You’re always worried, you’re always cautious, and in the event something happens that’s a threat, you usually think of the most effective, brutal, and quickest way to remove it as a threat.

As a result, even years later now that I’m stable, I don’t really have the ability to gauge an appropriate response to a threat. Maybe that’s why I went overboard here, but I’ll share the story and let others be amused or pass judgement as the case may be.

I made myself eat some food and didn’t actually throw it up. *\o/*

Dunno whether or not I’ll be able to sleep. Last night when Ducky was here with me was hard enough, I had Bad Dreams and came gasping awake at every sound.

I did pack my backpack with Emergency Work-Appropriate Clothes and toothbrush and stuff, though, and when I am done I’m gonna put my laptop in it, so that if I do have to leave in a hurry again, I can just grab the backpack and be set for a day or two.

I put away the mess in the house and did dishes and I feel a little more settled, until I hear his footsteps above my head and have to fight the urge to turn off all the lights and hide in the corner like a cricket.

More Observations from the Interrogation Scene

Last night, I stumbled across the HD version of the interrogation scene while browsing through the Reylo tag. Some people claimed to have issues viewing the video (I guess the audio was not synced to the actions of the characters), but I had no trouble viewing the clip on my laptop. The HD quality of the clip made it easier to pick up on a few details that I’d never noticed before. Now, to get started…

1. When Kylo Ren removes his mask and approaches Rey and, even when he stands before her, he wears a small smile. It’s not big enough to really be considered a full-fledged smile, but thee definitely is a softness and eagerness to his expression that I, personally, haven’t noticed before. I remembered him looking more intense, intimidating, and arrogant, though I did not get that impression as much with the higher-quality video.

2. Now this, I thought, was really significant and had me fan girling like crazy. This, here, is the big observation I really wanted to talk about and see if anyone else had. So… Kylo Ren has removed his mask and approached Rey. Standing beside her and looking at her intently, he says, “Tell me about the droid.” The moment she speaks, he makes an odd movement and then twitches his head. i noticed this right off the bat and rewound to get a better look. I did the whole pause, play, pause, play thing to slow it down (a sure-fire sign of a hardcore fan girl). What I saw: The moment Rey speaks, he inhales sharply (the movement is mostly in his torso), as though he experiences a physical reaction to hearing Rey’s voice. He then does the little head twitch and then glances down before cutting her off.

My Interpretation: At first, I thought, “Why would he have a reaction to her voice? He’s heard her speak before.” And then I realized… this is the first time she has spoken to him as Ben Solo and not Kylo Ren, the first time she has addressed him as a man and not a creature. How strange and unnerving it must be, on some level, to reveal his true appearance and voice to another human being. In some ways, this makes him appear more vulnerable and demonstrates that he cares what Rey thinks about him. He wants her to view him as a man. And think about it: How often does he have this opportunity to drop his guard and be Ben?

Has anyone else noticed this? What are your thoughts?

I noticed a few other minute things, but I don’t want to make mountains out of molehills. These two, especially the second one, were the main things I noticed that caught me off guard. I would love to hear your perspective.

Oh, and if you’re interested in accessing the video, I can try to include a link to it or reblog it so that you can access it easily on my page. I just tried watching the video on my phone and noticed the dialogue was not synced with the actions, but I was able to play it with no issue on my laptop. Either way, the movie will be out in a week.

“Ball and chain” - [Sebastian S./Tom H. - Multi-chapter ].

Chapter 4.

Summary: Things get out of control after Sebastian receives Tom’s texts.

Written by: A.Wölf.

Song referenced in title“Be free” by Papa Roach.

Previous chapters:  1: “One million bullets”  2: “The fruit of all my grief”  3: “Gimme all your love”

Notes: This chapter is too intense. Let’s just not forget it’s a work of fiction and Tom and Sebastian are just playing this crazy characters. <3

One for anger, one for the man, one for the girl… The third strike completely destroyed the windshield, and it felt cathartic.

Sebastian walked in circles.

He was 98 percent sure Tom had sent the text, certain that he was just sleeping with her to get back at him, and he just kept on walking around the block as he debated whether or not to go back and break his nose in front of her. It wasn’t until he realized he was trembling with anger that he decided to get away from there.

“I need a drink” he thought.

One for anger, one for the man, one for the girl… three shots of the strongest drink the nearest bar could offer entered his bloodstream. Sebastian kept glancing at his phone, reading the texts over and over again. The alcohol’s tingling and warm sensation was calming him, mostly because it was dulling his senses. He was entering another phase, a sadder one; he thought of her, the way she smiled at him, the way he held her naked in his arms. But soon, it wasn’t him anymore and his image was replaced by Tom’s, which made her wear an even bigger smile.

It was then that tears threatened to come out but he clenched his jaw and held them back. A new message popped on the bright screen.

‘Unknown’ had a name, and this confirmed his suspicions. Tom was guilty.

Sebastian’s blood boiled, he put the phone away, and ordered a cheap bottle, one of those that would get him drunk fast and make him forget, before exiting the bar to walk the streets drinking straight from it, not caring if anyone saw him. He had lost himself.

Coming Up For Air - Part 1

Request: Can you make a story where the reader is a person that got pulled out of hell by Castiel and Cas has to “purify ” the reader. And they get a thing for each other and all that fuzzy stuffz

Words: 1533

Author’s Note:  It took me a bit to wrap my head around the story line on this one but I think I’ve got it now :) You’ll have to excuse me since this is my fist Cas fic and I haven’t written him very much.  Let me know if you think it should be different or if I have the characterization wrong!

Thick black chains wrapped around my arms, heating up slowly as they pulled me in opposite directions.  They began to glow. First a subtle red hue, then a bright and molten crimson that seemed to sear itself into my eyes just as it did my skin.  I screamed out in pain, but no sounds came out.  There were large hooks embedded in my ribs, gnawing deeper into my flesh with each movement and each breath.

The chains around my arms wound the way down until they met my shoulders.  Then, snaking their way down my back, they wove together, scorching my skin as they did.  I felt myself melting.  The heat. The anguish. The torment.  And yet, no sounds escaped my lips.  The tears I was desperate to unleash never fell from my eyes.  The sweat that I knew should be beading at my brow was absent.

Suddenly, my eyes jolted open.  A warm hand gently grasped my shoulder, and I shrieked. The contact didn’t seem to burn as I expected it to.  My skin wasn’t melting.  But my breath was ragged and I could feel my chest heaving as I brought my hands to my sides.  I found no hooks. No chains, no burning hell fire.  Just skin.  And sweat. And a crumpled up blanket at my feet.

“Y/N,” a deep voice said.  Another hand grasped my shoulder and the two brought me to face him.  The owner of the dulcet tones.  “Y/N, you’re having a nightmare again,” he said with an air of disappointment.  Or was it concern?  I slowly began to nod my head as my eyes focused and his steely blue eyes rekindled my memory.

“Castiel,” I whimpered, my voice hoarse. The angel’s short black hair was tousled and his khaki trench coat was laying crumpled on the floor.   The stiff but recognizable bed beneath me gave just a little as I set my hands down on it and pushed myself to the edge.  Swinging my legs over and facing the angel, I buried my head in my hands.  I felt the sweat dripping from my forehead and wiped it away with the back of my hands.

“It was so real, Cas,” I confessed. “When are they going to stop?” I pleaded with him, wrapping my fingers around my arms, still convinced I’d find the chains there. I looked up at Castiel’s face, his eyes were squinted and his lips were tightly closed.

The tears that I’d been so desperate to shed just moments ago now fell down my cheeks unhindered.  I watched Castiel’s face drop from his normal stoic expression to a soft and endearing one.  His hand came up to my cheek as he pressed his thumb gently against it, wiping away my tear as he did.

“If I could heal you, I would.”  His face seemed sincere, almost desperate.  I smiled at him, as much as I could.

“I know,” I murmured.  “I’m just so tired.”  I hung my head, closing my eyes and wishing I could get a decent night’s sleep.

“Rest,” he whispered.  “I’ll stay with you.”

I looked back up at him, meeting his gaze and knowing that he would.  I dropped my hands back down to the bed and shook my head, pushing myself up to standing.  “We both know that they’ll just be worse, Cas.  But thank you,” I reached out, grabbing his hand and entwining our fingers.  “For everything.”  He nodded, and within a moment, he was gone.

Walking out into the library, I saw Sam sitting at the table with his laptop and Dean hovering over him, looking at the screen intently.  I hadn’t gotten to know the brothers very well since being back among the living. Most of my time had been spent in the bathroom at first, hunkered in the corner, under one of the sinks, in the fetal position as I rocked back and forth.  Once Castiel convinced me that I was back, that I was no longer in that place, a room was made available to me.  Or at least, that’s what I had assumed in the last few weeks.

Each night, I would lay in bed and attempt to sleep.  Every now and again, I would drift off and find myself dozing.  Only to be interrupted by torturous nightmares.  Flashbacks really. And each always ended the same way.  Cast would gently rouse me, and after a few moments, I would remember him.  Castiel.  The angel who saved me. The one who had removed the hooks from my ribs and the chains from my arms.  The one who had saved me from the fire and the blood and the endless beatings I had been enduring for decades.

I had died so long ago, I couldn’t even remember how it had happened.  Time had passed that had felt like eons.  Castiel had explained that I had been a hunter.  That my name was Y/N.  And that, to the best of his knowledge, a deal had been made for my soul.  He wasn’t sure what the terms were or why I had agreed to them; only that I had been bound to go to hell since the day I said yes.  And that I had only really been dead for eight years.

Walking into the kitchen, I opened the fridge and grabbed a soda.  Cracking the top, I quickly set my lips against the cold can, drawing the refreshing liquid to my lips.  My throat was scratchy and painful.   As though I had actually been screaming in my sleep when I hadn’t been able to do so in my nightmares.

“You doing alright?” Dean asked me as he peered up at me over the computer screen.  I nodded slowly, walking over to them and taking a seat at the table.  I ran a hand through my hair, which was evidently badly in need of washing.

“Hungry?” Sam asked, eager to help me in any way he could.  I shook my head. My stomach lurched at the thought of eating.  Of chewing.  I had heard the sounds of teeth gnashing at my skin for so many years.  I couldn’t imagine listening to my own mastication.

“It’s been over a week since you ate,” Dean observed.  “You’re wasting away here. You need to eat something.”

I looked up at the brothers, unsure what to say.  “Cas,” Dean called out. He looked around the room as if he would see him any moment.  “He left,” I informed him.

“Cas, it’s about Y/N,” Sam spoke up.  There was a rustle of wind and Castiel stood beside me.  He knelt down quickly, bringing himself to eye level as his eyes squinted and he seemed to examine me as if he were a doctor.

  “I’m fine,” I told him.

“Yeah, you’re fine,” Dean quipped sarcastically.  “Cas, she hasn’t eaten in days.”

Castiel looked down at me as if to confirm Deans accusation.  I held his gaze, knowing that he had seen the tortures I had been through.  Hoping he had at least an idea of it all.  His eyes gave nothing away, but he stood quickly, disappearing yet again.

“Somebody’s in trouble,” Dean sang out as he took his place again by his brother at the computer.  Sam smiled, shaking his head as he went back to furiously typing on the keyboard.  Less than fifteen seconds passed and I sat sipping my Sprite happily as it soothed my throat.  Without warning, a bowl of creamy chicken noodle soup was placed in front of me.

“Eat,” Castiel’s commanding voice rang out, catching me off guard.

“What is this?” I asked him skeptically.

“Soup,” he answered pointedly.  “From China.  The woman said it cures all ails.  Eat.”  He thrust the spoon that he had held in his hand towards me.

I looked down at the creamy substance and, grabbing the spoon from Castiel, stirred it.  A chunk of chicken rose to the surface.  I sneered at it, as the meat swiftly changed in my site.  All I saw were dozens of floating bodies where there were previously vegetables and chicken.  The cream had converted to a lake of boiling blood and I could feel the heat from the flames surrounding it licking my cheeks.  The bodies floating in the lake were writhing, screaming in pain as the monsters just below the surface devoured their flesh.  I watched as each bite, each attack ended, and the bodies regrew their lost limbs and appendages.  Just in time for the vile creatures living below them resurfaced and clenched their jaws into them once more.  Over, and over again.

Shouts, screams and cries permeated my ears and I felt myself fall backwards, pushing the chair that I had been sitting on out from under me as I crab crawled away from the table.  The screams echoed through the room as they poured out of my mouth.  My eyes were clenched shut as I tried in vain to remove the visions from my mind.

“Shhhh, Y/N.” Castiel’s calm voice enveloped me as his arms pulled my in towards his chest.  My shrieks turned to sobs as my eyes opened and focused on the unassuming and perfectly innocent bowl of soup.

hi so i just woke up whoops because i hadn’t slept at all since yesterday night / the day before something like that bUT THAT ISN’T IMPORTANT.

MY LITTLE SISTER IS ABSOLUTELY STELLAR. She’s only 9 years old, but last night we were supposed to hang out a bit before she went to bed for school, and like, take a super nice hot relaxing epsom salt bath together. Welp, unfortunately for me I blacked out cold like a rock somehow before I could even get in (and enjoy a delicious dessert I had made for the both of us).

I woke up just now with a blanket over me and a note left on my laptop screen. She wrote it because she knew that I would be wondering what the heckie happened last night, and she hoped I read the letter. She had already been in the tub and when she got out, she saw that I was sleeping. She put all the candles and stuff BACK in it’s rightful places, took all the things like food and water and brought that downstairs, charged my laptop because I forgot I disconnected it, and covered me with a blanket because I looked cold. I just. I am BLOWN AWAY by her absolute kindness and intelligence.

Sam, you are hands down, one of the most amazing baby sisters in the universe and gosh, I am so blessed and fortunate to have you as my sister. <3

Rule 34

My entry for @destieldrabblesdaily‘s 30k fic contest, now up on ao3 for your convenience.

2k of ridiculous cracky canon-adjacent fluff.

There was no getting around it. This was rapidly becoming the most awkward conversation Dean’s ever had, and he blamed the entire thing on the Princess Bride.

Or really, it was that damn flirty waiter’s fault.

Well, Dean supposes he could’ve been a little more clear when he’d explained that reference to Cas, but how the hell was he supposed to know there were that many different porn versions of one of the most innocent movies ever made? I mean, who even thought this shit up?

“Dude, that’s Rule 34 of the internet,” Sam gasped out between bouts of hysterical laughter when Dean finally figured out what had been going on. “And probably rule number one if you let him search for it on your laptop.”

Meanwhile Cas was trying to decide if it would be prudent to run away and never return, or if he could get away with merely hiding in one of the farthest reaches of the bunker for a few days until the whole thing blew over, and then hope nobody ever mentioned it again.

Can you do an Angsty kinda one shot where the reader and Dan had gotten into a fight and the reader is having a hard time coping. He had been the reason things were getting better but now everything is falling to shreds without him. A few weeks later Dan comes back after having some time to himself only to find out the reader was admitted into the hospital for suicide attempt and he blames himself for it all. It could end happy or sad, your choice! :3 (love your writing by the way!! <3)

Trigger warning!!: Depression, self-harm.

Dan has been your boyfriend for the last two years right after your fall into depression. He had helped you when he found out you had been cutting and abusing yourself by giving you notes every day, being there for you always, and always reminding you how much he loved you. You had felt for the two years nothing bad could happen anymore with your prince by your side, but even some fairy tales have bad endings.

It was a week before your second anniversary and you had an amazing night planned for you both. You wanted to take him out to a special dinner at one of the higher class restaurants, and then go to the park where you two actually had met. Dan had something else planned, Phil and himself had to go to the BBC Studio to plan their next show. When Dan had told you, it had seemed he had forgotten entirely about the anniversary, forgotten entirely that you had made these plans weeks in advanced. This lead to the downfall.

You both were in the flat you Dan and Phil shared together for the last six months when you brought It up. “I cancelled the dinner reservations.” You had said with a bit of anger behind your voice, you had every right to be angry though, it was a special night for you after all. Dan turned to look at you and raised an eyebrow.

“You did what? Y/n, why would you do that?!” He asked confused shaking his head a bit as he set his laptop down. You had tried to stop yourself from replying snarky, but it didn’t end well.
“I don’t know, maybe because my boyfriend made plans on our anniversary so I had to?” you had replied crossing your arms over your chest. You didn’t think Dan would be upset, it was his fault that the plans had crashed and burned, but Dan’s eyes narrowed as he looked towards you.

“Oh so it is my fault that MY JOB needed me? You could have rescheduled the reservation for the next day it isn’t that hard of a task!” He replied snapping back at you. Your mind was screaming at you to calm down, to relax and think things through, but you fought back. “Well neither is saying to the BBC ‘sorry can we do it the next day, my girlfriend and I have plans already’!”

All hell broke loose after that, and you couldn’t remember much of anything that happened. There was a lot of screaming from both your ends. You had thrown a potted plant as Dan screamed at you, you felt bad for throwing it after since it was your best friend Phil’s. The one thing you remember vividly though is the two words Dan said to you that brought you back to your senses.

“Get out.”

It felt as if all of time froze right then and there as those two words echoed from Dan. You stood there frozen as Dan stared at you his right hand pointing to the Lounge door indicating for your exit. He repeated the words again with more annoyance behind them.

“I said. Get. Out.”

Wanting to keep the small amount of pride you had left you stood up straight and walked out without saying another word, leaving behind the man who you thought was your savior, the one who was always there for you with open arms. Your heart beat increased with every step as you thought Dan was about to jump into the hallway and stop you. Apologize and beg for you to come back, but it didn’t happen.

He didn’t come running down the stairs either as you walked out of the apartment complex. He didn’t come to your flat when you arrived home. There was no call begging for forgiveness. All there was, was silence as you stayed at home waiting for the call, waiting that he would come apologizing for kicking you out.

Days passed by, and still no contact with Dan. Phil had called to see if you were okay, but you ignored his calls since it even hurt to hear your best friend’s voice. He reminded you to much of what you had with Dan, and how you screwed it up.

Days turned into weeks without any sign of Dan, and you thought it was time to get things into action again. You wanted to go outside, go to the shops or just leave your flat. Instead though after having no will to get out of bed, you turned on your radio next to you, hoping the music would give you any bit of energy you could. You hummed along to the music, before it ended and a voice you thought you’d never hear again began speaking.

been trying to write this for awhile, but got stuck here. If you guys like it i’ll post a part two.

It Only Takes One Time (Part 39)

Part 38

Warnings: I’m not even sure I swore

I had managed to fall asleep that night at ease, not letting myself cry a single tear after I instructed Dan to leave me be and handle myself. I wanted to try and work in some hours of sleep before waking up the next day and wanting to crawl back in bed.

Luckily, our flight was in the evening to fly which meant I had the day to finalize my packing and get Liam ready. Having a new baby go on an international trip was already going to be a pain in the ass, but there really wasn’t much else I could say. This would be nice for Liam to look back on in the future as whatever happens between Dan and I may be something completely different. He could at least see that at some point, we tried to give him something the represented family.

I woke up early and made myself some toast and coffee and warmed up Liam’s milk. Everyone including Dan’s mother had gone home.It was just me, awake and by myself organizing everything.

For the next few hours, I stayed on my laptop reviewing apartments that were for sale. I needed something that was actually in my budget or else I would have to resort to getting help from Waverly.

“You’re already awake?” Dan yawned, tying his sweatpants as he approached the table where I sat.

“Yeah, there’s a lot to be done so I figured I should get a head start and wake up early. Especially after last nights fiasco.” He sat across from me and tapped his fingers against the wooden table, making a rhythmic pattern. “You sound like a rockstar.”

“What?” He chuckled, cocking up one of his brows. I gestured my head over to his fingers and looked back at my computer, opening up my email. “Oh,” he stopped, “I used to play drums when I was younger. Haven’t in awhile though, so I guess my hands still feel the beats. Or maybe thats the pianist in me, who knows.”

“You make it seem like you’re a retired musician who suffered a horrible accident and had to put his career on hold.” I clicked on the email from my doctor last night that. I needed to keep staring at the sentence where it stated I wasn’t pregnant to continue and further relax myself. I would be receiving a call from the offices nurse any minute to explain to me why I wasn’t pregnant and why my drugstore test came out positive.

“More like a failed law student drop out who creates videos online about anything and everything.” Dan shrugged, leaning back in his chair.

“That reminds me, I should check out your channel. I used to be so on top of watching YouTube in my spare time, but ever since I got pregnant it’s been like I have no spare time.” I grabbed a spare orange that I brought out with my breakfast and threw it at Dan, who fumbled a bit but grabbed it.

“Maybe you shouldn’t. That would embarrass me a lot.” Dan gulped, slowly digging his nails into the orange but failing to peel it. I laughed to myself and walked over to him, standing beside where he sat. He was so tall that when I stood by him whilst sitting, he still wasn’t too far below my head.

“Let me help you with this,” I took the orange and jabbed my thumb in the dip at the top. I then removed my thumb and started taking off the peel by the little lip I created with my thumb. “Would you ever let Liam watch your videos?” I smiled, watching the peel come off in one piece. I was never proud of many things I did, but peeling an orange correctly? Give me a fucking award because I was a professional.

“I mean-I suppose that I would. I don’t create content that’s useless. I simply post about opinions and I guess some of my videos can be informational? It’s weird. We’ve never really talked about that part of my life.” Dan used his free hand to rub at his eyes. I gave him the perfectly naked orange and now instead took a seat that was right next to him.

“To be fair, we’ve been busy taking care of a tiny human and having humiliating fights. In all seriousness I feel as if… I haven’t really gotten to know much about you individually that much. It’s all been about me or about Liam. I can’t speak for Liam but it gets exhausting being the centre of attention.”

“So, you want to start getting to know me?” Dan did a cheeky little side smile, really only showing off one of his dimples.

“I actually think I do.” I watched him take a bite off of the orange. He looked so adorable when he chewed.

“Seriously? I thought you resented me.”

“I don’t think I could ever resent you.” I quickly responded, closing my eyes. This conversation was completely civil and relaxed but now it was going to turn into me crying again if I didn’t find a nice solution. “I’m usually really, really, really mad at you but I could never resent you. My feelings towards you are indescribable. I just feel that right now, before I officially move completely out of here and out of the apartment with Catherine that I should get to know you better. You are the man who’s going to be in charge of my son for a specific amount of time so any information about you can become useful, alright? Great.” I meekly smiled and sucked in a deep breath.

“Great.” He replied, affirming that he understood.

“Let’s start with your YouTube videos.” I proclaimed. I had follow up questions but suddenly my phone rung and I knew that it was the nurse. I picked up my phone and stood up. “Load up a video, I just need to answer this.” Dan nodded and moved to my computer as I stepped back into the bedroom. “Hello?”

“Hi! Alright, I need to do this quickly but I understand you’re confused as to why the test was negative with us and positive with a drugstore test?” The nurse spoke into the phone. I started pacing around the room, trying my hardest to keep my voice down.

“Uh yes. I understand that the drugstore can scan incorrectly and that can lead to a faulty test but I simply just want to know? My period was late and I guess I just wasn’t feeling my best. A lot of the symptoms were similar to my first pregnancy.” I explained.

“You recently had a baby, correct?”

“I did, yes.” I confirmed, walking around the room and simply studying everything extra carefully.

“Alright well… According to this you’re around 13 weeks postpartum. Your period takes time to regulate once more after you have gone through the process of pregnancy. It seems that right after you had sex for the first time and you weren’t back to the cycle you’re used to, you took the test. The test as you said didn’t scan correctly either. However, for the other symptoms? You might be close to starting and are ovulating or thats just your mind tricking you.” She finished.

The nurse and I didn’t talk for much longer before she hung up. I then walked back out to the dining room and saw Dan sitting at my computer.

“I got a video loaded.”

Before desperately packing last minute, Dan and I spent a good hour an a half watching his most recent and older videos together. I couldn’t bring myself to stop laughing at whatever he said or did.

Once we were dressed and ready to go, I picked up Liam from his play pen and looked up at Dan who was waiting in the doorway. Phil had gone out with friends and said a blunt goodbye to us. I felt bad for being so destructive in his life but it was out of my control.

“Hey, quick thing.” Dan mumbled. “Like seriously so quick, I don’t want to make this a big thing or ruin anything before we set foot in France-shit. That was a surprise but whatever.” He shook his head. “I just wanted to ask you something.”

“Go for it.” I put my purse overly shoulder and grabbed the handle of my suitcase.

“Why did you never tell me you were pregnant?” Dan looked up at me worriedly and I immediately shook my head.

“No, no, no. I thought I was pregnant but I’m not. I never told you because… I wanted to make sure if I actually had anything to tell you about.”

“Did you think it was mine?” He sighed, taking over my suitcase. I replied with a slow nod, turning my gaze to Liam. “Alrighty then.”

“I’m sorry.” I groaned. “I didn’t know what to do, I was panicked.”

“It’s fine. Lets go. Paris awaits.

Could you pleeaasseeee squeeze this one in for tonight I would love you forever if u could do an imagine where you and Harry had jus recently had a baby and you were looking everywhere for her but only to find that Harry was playing with her in the basement. OMG tysm ilysm

A/N: I’m sorry that I couldn’t squeeze this one in last night I had no more battery left on my laptop and I didn’t want to rush it! I love you :-))

Your heart pounded a million miles a minute as you frantically searched your apartment for your daughter. She was in her crib twenty minutes ago when you checked on her last and when you went to look at her again she was gone. You ran your fingers through your hair as panic fueled your every action.

Harry was no where in sight either which made you believe that perhaps your daughter was with him, but Harry was not answering his phone which was not like him. After your second try of calling him you heard the faint buzzing of his phone come from his jacket pocket which alerted you that something was wrong.

Left to your own devices, you frantically searched every inch of your house calling your daughter’s name and praying that she was somewhere.

Your heart pounded faster with every passing minute as you searched the bedrooms, bathrooms and finally the basement.

Sitting on the carpet and wearing tiaras on their heads, Harry was sitting with your daughter playing dress up/princesses. You took deep breaths to control your breathing as you headed down the stairs to your basement.

Harry peered up at you with fake clip on earrings on and a million necklaces around his neck and he could tell that you were stressed out.

“Are you alright babe?” Harry asked and your daughter turned around to see you standing at the bottom of the steps.

“I went in Y/D/N’s room to check on her after her nap and she wasn’t there and I had major heart attack thinking she was missing or something but yeah I’m fine,” you said snappily. It wasn’t Harry’s fault but you were angered that he took her out of her room without you knowing.

“You were in the shower when I took her out of her room. I’m sorry that you didn’t know and that I scared you.” He said in a soft tone while your daughter grabbed beaded necklaces and headed over to you.

“Put these on mommy,” she said and you leaned down so she could place the rainbow colored necklaces around your neck. Another sigh left your lips and you sat down on the floor between Harry and Y/D/N.

“It’s not your fault I just was scared s-h-i-t-l-e-s-s,” you said and spelled the last word out so your daughter wouldn’t know what you were saying. Harry placed his hand on your knee and rubbed a small circle in it and you soon relaxed completely.
