And I love being a hero because it means I get to spend every single day by your side. And I love the way that you’re honest to a fault. And the way that you fight for those you care for. And I love you.
Elara’s dress was a drag, but it was worth it. While colouring, I’ve noticed that the boy on the second pic is probably not supposed to be Maven (his clothes are ragged), but he looks neither like Kilorn or Tristan in the other pics, and I launch into every Maven pic where he doesn’t look like old Brad Pitt.
I paid a lot of attention to Farley’s scarf. Unfortunately, the colours aren’t so intense here -.-
(I try to show Mare’s earrings, but they’re difficult to see on a photo)
The casting agent had seen me open up as a duo with my drummer, Zeke Hutchins, supporting Nick Cave in 2013. Somehow, the mental Rolodex of this guy—I don’t know what
phrases came to mind when they were talking about the casting for
Rachel, but somehow I was somebody that they wanted to audition. It was
because of the show that he saw me open up for Nick Cave. […] I picked “I Wish I Knew” for the audition. I felt like I could sing that naturally as opposed to
somebody else’s song in an audition. I didn’t really know the context at
the time. When I showed up on set later, we had talked about doing
other songs, but that one ended up being the one we circled back to.
