I Love You
Given that I’ve seen meta that suggests….
a) Eurus’ game was all about getting Sherlock to say I love you to Molly
b) Engravings on coffins are placed there by the loved one of the deceased
Wouldn’t it be interesting to imagine the whole “I love you” scene flipped on its head and it’s Sherlock who has to say it to Molly?
I’m guessing the beginning would go something like this:
John: So it’s for somebody who loves somebody.
Mycroft: It’s for someone who Sherlock loves. This is all about you. Everything here. So who do you love? I’m assuming it’s not a long list.
John: Irene Adler?
Sherlock (buffering, buffering, buffering): No. Unmarried, practical about death, alone.
Sherlock: Molly Hooper.
Eurus: blah blah blah about rigged flat. Say it to her. One important restriction: you can’t at any moment do anything to cause her to doubt your sincerity or suggest that her life is in danger.
Wouldn’t that be SO interesting?
