love that all this gay shit was filmed exactly 8 years after the "i wonder how biology can explain the physical pain you feel in your chest when all you want to do is be with someone" tweet. feels good. feels organic.

I love death and dying

I love your blog and all your thoughts a bout call me by your name. I want to know what you thought of the movie ending ? And can you describe it ?

hey friend thank you for the nice words! so the film ends the winter of the year that elio and oliver spend the summer together, so about 6 months after they see each other for the last time. it’s hanukkah and the perlmans are back at the villa for the holidays, there’s snow on the ground, they’re getting ready for dinner. elio comes inside from a walk and sits down in the living room to read when oliver calls. at first, elio just answers, and says hello, i miss you, etc. oliver says he has good news, elio chidingly says “what, you’re getting married?” and oliver, with like, HUGE sadness in his voice says yes. elio’s voice cracks, he says “you never said anything about it” and oliver says it was off and on for a while. elio’s parents pick up the phone from the other room to say hello and offer congratulations but they exchange a look that says EVERYTHING about how sad they are for elio, and i think for themselves, too, because i think the entire family had such a deep connection with him. they hang up and let elio and oliver talk, elio says his parents know about their affair and asks how, oliver says the entire time he was there they treated him like a son-in-law. elio calls oliver by his name a few times and vis-versa, and it cuts to elio, now off the phone, wandering into the dining room and sitting cross-legged in front of the fireplace - this is that shot that everyone has been pining about, because it’s about 5-7 minutes, a tight shot of elio crying, going through a trillion different emotions: there are times when he sobs harder, times when he smiles to himself, times when he grows visibly angry at oliver or at himself or at the horrors of the universe, who knows? the entirety of the credits roll and only at the end does his mother interrupt him and call him to the table for dinner.

as for what i THOUGHT of it, i loved it. i’m in the camp that is 100% supportive of the idea of sequels, etc. because i found the end of the book to be really… i don’t know, it was moving and wonderful in how moving it was but it was really a story about loss and the temporality of life and while i think that’s why the book impacted me the most, i’m excited to see it take on a new life. the phone call was heartbreaking, the shot of timmy is incredible, he’s wearing this TURTLENECK under a BUTTON DOWN with a little walkman and it’s just…. oh…. so precious. there’s a bit when he first walks in the house where he goes to the kitchen, mafalda (who is, we can safely assume, catholic) is cooking latkes, elio sneaks a bite and she says felice hanukkah! and it’s just such a beautiful portrait of the family and i just love them!! and i loved it!

Hello Jenny, first of all I would like to say thank you for writing Experimentation and offer you a warm congrats on its success and your talent. Second of all, I know some bechloe fans are annoyed at the recent queer baiting involved with the clips recently released. But I would like to say, no matter what happens in the film, we have bechloe kept alive by writers with amazing talents like yours and I would like to say thank you so much for your care and consideration of our favourite ladies

Well, aren’t you lovely! Thank you for your kind words, nonnie. They mean a great deal.

And you’re right, no matter what happens, it’s fans that keep fandom alive. People should try and remember that.

That being said, I’m so definitely not on the queerbaiting train and can, thankfully, just enjoy recent events. :)

what ur favourite ghibli film says about you

the tale of princess kaguya: me too also given that literally no one has seen this beautiful masterpiece i Trust u and love u

howls moving castle: you give off really pretty vibes… all the hmc stans i know have been pretty girls with good taste in books strangely enough

kiki’s delivery service: your sense of aesthetic is really good and you probably are charismatic enough to have a lot of friends though you dont realise it

princess mononoke: you have this beautiful spirit that’s always been highly aware of the ugliness in the world but goddam you make it a better place just by existing. and your mind is So intelligent and your heart… is so in the right place

my neighbour totoro: you’re playful and curious and bright. a small, ever-powerful star in the darkness

whisper of the heart: you’re so compassionate. you live life slightly differently from others. as though in your own bubble, as though everything happening to you is happening very quietly. and you treasure the moments- how magical existing can be. you’re probably so so good and precious to those you care about

spirited away: you’re very classically somehow this blend of a hero and a creator. you give off vibes of being the hero of the tale, the noble knight adventuring, but at the same time youre so infinitely creative. something ancient and wise deep inside u

Me some days ago: Jimin does all the effort. He filmed, edited and shared the video alone.

Havana music video : finding the gay 🌈

Alright! Let’s get this show started! I’d like to begin by saying that this music video had me watching it with a smile from ear to ear, from beginning to end - first because, hello, my wife is on the screen, and second because finally we get a music video with a concept, a story, and it feels so fucking good!!

Apart from being well thought, well acted, sassy, and funny, this music video is also very gay. Obviously since our baby gaymila isn’t out and still needs to cultivate her straight image, the gay is very subtly put in the video and you need to put your detective googles on ( material sponsored by Camren™) to see it.

Disclaimer : this post is full of extremely delusional theories

p.s : sorry in advance for clotting your dashboard, this is gonna be one ass long post.

So let’s dive in with the very first scene, which to me is simply the most revealing one, and the gayest - also it speaks to my Camren delusional soul like no other event has in the past few months.

The scene is set in a telenovela where Camila is playing a role, the young beautiful latina who, scandal!, gets cheated on by her boyfriend with her best friend and the maid (I need a fanfic about those two ladies, I ship it.), we discover that it’s not actually her boyfriend but his twin when the boyfriend in question appears, he was in the closet, yes, those exact words. And even more than that, he’s coming out, for her.

Now, obviously this whole scene is a big parody of telenovelas, even though she barely exaggerated 😅 , and the idea that her boyfriend in another turn of event or the continuation of the story would be gay, could totally be part of the insinuation that telenovelas plots are very often completely absurd, but I personally found a much deeper meaning to that scene…

As you may know, telenovelas are supposed to show the pure essence of romance, the most cliché love declarations and basically what everyone would want to see happen but never does because we live in the real world. With that is mind, would the most romantic thing for Camila be to come out of the closet for her??

Well that rang a fucking gigantic bell in my Camren heart.
I know I might be reaching but for her to choose that particular setting and those particular words is no coincidence. Is that a true story? 🌚

(also I can’t help thinking about little gaymila watching telenovelas and thinking about her love story with Lauren, but that just me 🌚✌️)

Just for that single scene, Havana is going in my Camren files.

Alright, next is one of the most beautiful thing I’ve ever witnessed in my life… little Camila watching tv, looking like the gorgeous baby lesbian that she is…

hum-hum, moving on.

Next stop: Abuelita!

This character is obviously intended to bring a comical aspect to the music video, and it works like a charm.

But if you put Abuelita through the gay filter, you get a transgender grandmother (that’s fucking brilliant) and a nice reference to the familiar word “beard”  - I’ve worked up an entire delusional theory in my head about the grandmother representing the beard, and that Camila is hiding behind her, staying at home (aka the closet), playing it safe with grandma, just like Camila would in real life with her straight “relationships” - anywhoo, it’s fucking crazy and my delusional mind has rarely reached that far, so I’ll spare you the details 😅

Anyways, 10/10 for Abuelita! 👏👏👏

Let’s take a little 10 mins break (or 30) to look at this smol bean…

MY PRINCESS!!!! #triggered #mypinkprincess

*pulling myself together*

Also :

Wrong, wrong, WRONG Abuelita!! That is obviously not Karla! That’s Camila with a touch of CamEEla.

Anywhoo! Let’s keep going!
Next we have a single line that stroke a deep chord in me…

Look, I’ve been called strange and antisocial, turns out it’s a few possible side effects of being a closeted gay 🙃

If I let my delusional mind analyze this a little bit deeper, my thoughts go to the cuban/mexican culture and the fact that usually homosexuality is a big taboo, especially in older generations (I get all my infos from Carmen De La Pica Morales and Santana Lopez), and that certain behaviors, like not being interested in boys or living in a fantasy world, can be seen as “strange” - or that maybe here Abuelita does know that Camila is “different” aka strange aka gay as fuck (but since it’s taboo she doesn’t say the words) and that she loves her anyways.

(at this point you must have understood that my mind is in constant fanfic writing session 😅 )

Before diving into the big Havana feature film, let’s take another 50 mins to just look at her…

So, back in Cuba. Karla is just being one of the boys, as usual. Letting her butch side run free for a few precious moments…

Then she’s dancing with a dude next to a lesbian couple on a date, like “bitch, let me entertain my people!”

Tbh I think this is the least realistic part of the music video, YOU DO NOT LOOK AWAY FROM KARLA CAMILA CABELLO DANCING! WHAT KIND OF LESBIANS ARE YOU?

Alright, the one on the right looks shook, BUT YOU ON THE LEFT GET OUT!

Then Karla plays cupid…

CCGMA, Camila Cabello Gay Matchmaking Agency™, how may I help you?

Then she’s straight dancing some more…

Then she meets Michael Jackson…

Then she slaps a dude (very satisfying)

Then just as the straight kiss is supposed to happen it cuts to princess peachmuffin Gaymila eating popcorn 😂😂😂 #savedbythegay

Then Karla dumps the dude…

In all seriousness if you take that very small dialogue “You love me.” “I do love you, but I love me more.” and put it in a Camren or 5H context… it hurts like a bitch.

Little 90 mins break to just look at her :

(also from now on those are my gifs for any drama ever happening in this fandom 😂 )

Then Karla basically tells Camila to fuck off and get out of the closet…

Now let’s take a break to watch Camila’s booty, let’s meet in the afterlife! See you there!

ALL HAIL TO THE BOOTY 🙌  🙌  🙌  🙌 🙌

Look at that smol gay peachmuffin bean :

You can put two people between them 😂😂😂

So basically, this music video is everything I hoped it would be, I mean, not everything, because Camila isn’t kissing, marrying and having cuban babies with Lauren in it, but still it’s pretty damn good! It has a great concept, it’s funny, it’s sassy, and most of all it’s refreshing to finally see some good production!

I also think she did a great job at keeping up the straight image while not explicitly doing anything straight and creating a gay matchmaking agency - she could’ve easily included a kiss with that boy, but she didn’t. You can tell she’s still being cautious and only hints at gay males, and not lesbians, but who knows what the next step will be… And I do truly believe in some of the theories I put in this post, especially the very first one 🌚

So I will end this endless post with this gif of Camila putting her glasses back up because SHE FUCKS ME UP.

Harry + 2017:

  • Performed on the Today Show, where he requested that the stage be lowered so he could create an intimate show for the fans
  • Was the musical guest on the first episode of SNL that was broadcast live from coast-to-coast in the U.S.
  • Sold out his first solo worldwide tour in a record-breaking 29 seconds
  • Released a documentary, ‘Behind the Album’ on Apple Music, which shows him playing some of his songs at Abbey Road Studios. Full-length performances of all his songs would later be released on ‘Behind the Album: The Performances’
  • Released his debut self-titled album, which was well received by critics and was #1 in 87 counties. It is the highest first week sales for a British male’s debut album since 1991 and has been certified gold in six countries.
  • Did a week-long stint on ‘The Late Late Show with James Corden,’ where he participated in Carpool Karaoke and other skits, delivered one of the opening monologues, and performed a different song every night
  • Covered The Sunday Times Magazine, where he personally reached out to the writer to arrange the interview
  • Announced a second tour in stadium venues for 2018
  • Held secret shows in London, LA, and Mexico and donated all the proceeds to charity
  • During the LA show at the Troubadour, he performed with Stevie Nicks and they sang Two Ghosts, Landslide, and Leather and Lace together
  • Dedicated his show in Mexico to the victims of the Manchester attacks by doing an intimate acoustic set
  • Performed ‘Two Ghosts’ on ‘The Late Late Show with James Corden in London’ on a rooftop overlooking the city

  • Returned to his roots, the X-Factor stage, to perform Kiwi
  • Opened the Victoria Secret Fashion Show and performed twice
  • Was nominated for two MTV VMAs

  • Is in conversation for multiple Grammy Awards (among other music awards), while Dunkirk is in contention for Best Picture at the Oscars and other film awards

Most importantly, he achieved all of this while promoting kindness (and being kind himself), embracing love in all forms, encouraging originality, being authentic and unapologetic with his music and stage presence, pushing the boundaries of pop music, never ceasing to show love to his fans, working extremely hard and making no excuses, and having a bit of fun.

You’ve got a bright future ahead, kid, and I can’t wait to see what you accomplish next

Oh, 2008 Iron Man movie, how I love thee. Let me count the ways:

  • Tony Stark’s ridiculously floppy hair he has to slick back for work, because like any good comics hero, he always has That One Rakish Lock Of Hair ™. Whoever styled Downey obviously knew what they were doing.
  • Relatedly, Paltrow actually ginger as Pepper. I love the strawberry-blonde look from later movies, too, but it’s so bright and pretty here.
  • The soundtrack. It’s one of the most distinctive and enjoyably electric-guitar-heavy soundtracks I’ve heard. I love how it mostly goes for modern-ish synths and ambient stuff, and also nods to classic rock, classic metal in particular. (The drums are incredibly John Bonham, and one of the main refrains is so close to “Kashmir” by Led Zeppelin that I’m pleasantly surprised someone didn’t try to sue Ramin Djawadi.) Makes perfect sense for a futurist who works in tech at the cutting edge, but does it listening to stuff like 90s metal and AC/DC and wearing Black Sabbath shirts. Also, it means that when the full orchestral pomp kicks in, it’s even more affecting for how unusual it is.
  • “The bad guys won’t even want to come out of their caves.” Sure, it’s an offhand joke, but there’s a kernel of truth to it. It shows how damnably naive he is about some things, even as he pretends not to be. (”There’s a line, we don’t cross it.”)
  • The fact that he tells Yinsen, “Thank you for saving me.” A little thing, but important, especially contrasted to “What have you done to me?” at the start of their acquaintanceship.
  • The American Cheeseburger
  • The way it shows that good is something you have to do, not just something you are. We get to see pretty much every step of him becoming Iron Man, and it’s shown to be damn hard work. We get to see him exhausted and scruffy and injured, and his test flight nearly kills him, but he keeps going.
  • And we see the intricacies of what he’s doing. God, I love how much attention has been paid to the tech. The sequences when you get to see all the hydraulics and the soldering, so on… That’s just lovely prop and animation work. (Yes, I’m just here for the tech porn. How did you know?)
  • “I shouldn’t be alive, unless it was for a reason.”
  • A lovely Pepper/Tony dynamic that’s so different from the comics in all the best ways. “You’re the most qualified, capable person I know” is said with earnest admiration.
  • Though “Proof That Tony Stark Has A Heart” could be straight from the comics - again, in all the best ways.
  • How quiet Tony is. It’s more pronounced after Afghanistan, but even before, when he’s not playing up the snark, he’s soft-spoken, introspective and receptive, constantly trying to put people at ease. Sure, he can be arrogant and do dumb things (keeping Rhodey waiting three damn hours? Really, Stark?) and he’s obviously very used to his privilege, but it’s an interesting contrast and a nice piece of characterisation that’s very in line with 616. We get to see that less in other movies, but it’s always there.
  • The arc reactor. A beautiful piece of in-universe engineering and prop design, and a really lovely poetic device that makes perfect sense with the arcs and motifs from the comics even though it was an MCU invention.
  • The fact that someone clearly went, “The workshop is important to him and probably where he spends most of his time” and worked to add little touches: the coffee machine, the models, the spare parts, the bits and pieces of a life dotted around. It feels very lived-in and like they actually thought about his character, rather than like they went for generic “harsh and futuristic = cool”.
  • Oh and: Tony Stark rides bikes, apparently. I needed to know that.
  • That Audi.
  • And that damn water feature. Apparently the epitome of cool is having your own little waterfall. I miss that waterfall; I’m so sad we lost it when the mansion got trashed.
  • How easy an entry point it is, and how it stands perfectly well on its own as just… a really good movie, regardless of the rest of the MCU or the comics. I’d never picked up an Iron Man comic before I saw this, and I fell utterly in love with the universe, the characters and the themes anyway.
  • The little, realistic touches like the goatee starting to grow out and the motor oil marks.
  • “The truth is… I am Iron Man.”

reminder that beverly literally had no positive platonic interactions in the movie.

reminder that richie, stan, and eddie hated her because of those bullshit sleeping around rumours gretta spread (@ screenwriters people were still bullied in the 80s for being poor, you assholes), henry & her father & mr keene sexualised her, mike didn’t really feel anything towards her (r.i.p screentime) and she was only there really to play the love interest for bill and ben.

reminder that in the book she was not The Girl of the group, she was the best friend of all the losers. stan saying “none of your business” when she asks about the items in the pharmacy isn’t funny or cute, it’s extremely ooc when compared with even the miniseries interactions.

reminder that sophia lillis was 14 during the filming of IT.

reminder that they showed her opening her dress in a michael-bay style slow-mo shot that was highkey not needed because SHE IS 14, shot her from the back in close fitting pedal pushers, and showed her in the bath during the ‘dear god’ montage (also not needed since she’d already been shown playing the keyboard, and there are other things to do in a bathroom that don’t seem jarring in comparison to boys doing Stoic Male™️ things, such as washing your hands or brushing your teeth, but i guess the male screenwriters didn’t care about that.)

reminder that one of only scenes in the movie where she’s not being abused or assaulted or stared at or having some boy’s desires projected onto her is the scene where she finds the poem and reads it. that’s it in the whole movie.

reminder that “the movie was condeming the treatment of beverly!” is not a solid excuse for this crap. it condems her father assaulting her, but it does not condemn her own friends ogling and slut-shaming her, or condemn her putting herself in the position to let an old man lech on her so some boys she barely knows can steal things.

reminder that the treatment and language used towards her in the movie was actually a better version of the original scripts, which is pretty harrowing when considering the above points.

reminder that im tired!!!!! im tired

Do you love period dramas? Do you want to support gay-centered media?

The Burying Party, written and directed by Richard Weston, is a film that follows the last year in the life of Wilfred Owen, a gay man whose poetry about World War I changed the landscape of war poetry and landed Owen a much deserved standing as one of the most renowned poets in all of English history.

As of right now, the film is only halfway to completion. Weston and co. are relying on crowd funding in order to get the film done, and they need to raise £5,000 ($6,585) total in order to ensure that the film is finished in time to be released on the 100th anniversary of Wilfred Owen’s death in November of next year. The campaign closes on Nov. 27, 2017. That’s where you come in.

Here is a link to their KICKSTARTER CAMPAIGN, where you can read more about the project, as well as watch the trailer.

Please share the word about this project and consider supporting it if you can! Wilfred Owen was an amazing historical figure, and there isn’t nearly enough media out there actively honoring not just his poetic accomplishments but also his sexual orientation!

Why the Jungkook GCF Tokyo video is important !

🔹 The fact that Junkook used this Troye Sivan song. It’s no secret Kook loves Troye, but he loves this song SO MUCH that he used it despite copyright claims. He could have chosen any song, any of their own songs for no copyright, but he chose this song and as a result, the video is not monetized. Meaning they’re not making money from it. Jungkook uploaded the vid solely because HE wanted to, not to get money at all

🔹 He filmed, directed, and edited this amazing video because he just loves Jimin so much. He spent all that time for Jimin alone when he didn’t even give the other members birthday presents. He treats JM differently, he clearly cares a lot for JM whether as just friends or lovers.

🔹 The video is all Jimin from Jungkooks perspective. Every scene had something to do with Jimin, he barely even showed himself. It was the literal definition of “he thought the view was pretty but I thought he was prETTIER” jk is whipped. When you love someone, it doesn’t matter where you are as long as you’re with them. This was JM through JK’s eyes.

🔹 The fact that SO MANY comments were saying they feel like they’re on a date with Jimin.

What does that make Jungkook then??? All these fans who can see the romance in the air but like to put it on themselves since they wanna be with Jimin is fine, but it showed the video was extremely date-like, as if Jungkook himself was on a date with Jimin. If jungkook treated a girl like that, everyone would lose their minds. But since it’s a guy, it’s just a friendship.

🔹 People even have the audacity to say JK made the vid so army could have a dating sim with JM??? Are you fucking kidding me? JK made the vid for HIMSELF. That’s why he used copyright music. If he was doing it for fans, he would have used their own music to make profit and he would have told Jimin about it

🔹 Since Jimin DID NOT KNOW JK was gonna post the video. He said he would have acted differently. If the video were a “dating simulator” Jimin would have been his stage persona but he was real, raw, and as pure as we will ever see him. It was the real JM that only JK gets to see. And he was so happy. He was truly happy with JK at his side.

🔹 Dreams do come true, kids. JM since 2013 wanted to go on a vacation with JK, just by themselves if they ever had time and they finally were able to, in the happiest place on earth. I don’t care if jikook is real and I don’t know but it’s obvious that they definitely love each other, romantically or platonically.

Hey everyone!
Have you already seen coco??? I love it. It’s such a beautiful film, I was amazed by the music, the animation, every single detail, the way they represented the mexican culture and the story, god, the story is marvelous. I am proudly mexican and this movie truthly shows how we celebrate Día de Muertos, the importance of our family, mariachi music, even food and clothes!!! Don’t stop seeing it!!!
🎶 Tú me traes un poco loco, un poquititito loco, estoy adivinando que quieres y pa’ cuando, y así estoy celebrando que me he vuelto ¡un poco loco!🎶

1) Taako pulls off some sweet flips with Carey and Killian, so much so it becomes a regular thing, one day it's going great but Taako ends up with a super broken arm (like breaks in three different places) he's not in pain but he's on enough painkillers to make an elephant high. Kravitz of course comes to the hospital after Killian calls apologizing. Taako looks at Kravitz, sniffling and just asks "are you my husband????? These nice ladies said he was coming." Kravitz just smiles and corrects

2) him. “I’m your fiancé love.” Taako just smiles and spends probably twenty minutes just holding Kravitz’s hand while asking Kravitz if he likes ferrets and Mongeese. Killian is apologizing so much “he’s on the really REALLY good shit, he’s gonna be like this for at least the rest of the day. It was the only way they could get him to hold still for the stitches and X-rays and shit.” Taako tries to shush everyone when they try to curse “there’s a little tiny baby human nearby, I know it.”

3) of corse that baby is Angus, who brought some crackers from the cafeteria. “See! It’s the tiny human who likes to read!!!!” Killian has to direct Taako’s hug to Kravitz. Taako doesn’t mind, he’s hugging a handsome guy, a handsome guy who’s apparently his husband to be!!!!! Taako just kinda doesn’t stop hugging Kravitz, mostly because he’s tired and mostly because Kravitz is holding his arm so it doesn’t hurt. “I love you, you know that?” Taako just tells everyone how much he loves Kravitz.

4) Taako finally sleeps and he can go home when he’s not loopy anymore. Lup films all of it. -Bunny

Suho Hyung, thank you for always receiving the jokes pulled by the members.

D.O. is a friend of strong principles. He’s a friend that has strong conviction in his own beliefs - it’s great to see. In the future too, I hope you live without forgetting your heart’s center, just like now. D.O.-ya, it would be great if you live believing in yourself. Regardless what the others say, what you believe in will be the right answer.

EXO mood maker Baekhyun, thank you for encouraging the members and making them laugh.

D.O. is really a trustworthy friend. Whenever I am having a hard time, if D.O. says a word, I feel better. And so, even without realising myself, I end up relying on him a lot.

Chen, whom I really loved, thank you for always showing a bright image and sharing good energy with the members.

D.O. and I found a common interest. We game together, and recently we went golfing together too. I don’t expect anything more from D.O. Even now, he’s a reliable friend too. D.O.-ya, it’ll be great if we can continue to get along well just like we do now.

Chanyeol, thank you for always playing the guitar by my side.

D.O. hyung, while preparing for the concert, you’re also working on filming, it must be tough. However, you still always find time for the members and do your best, it’s really amazing. No matter what, I’ll always love you, hyung. You know that I love you the most right?

The leader of the practice room Kai, thank you for putting on with the member’s laziness. Kai is usually the laziest of us all but when practicing you’re the most diligent.

And there’s D.O. hyung. Although D.O. hyung has a cold personality, if you approach him first, he’s not one to shun away from you. I approached hyung first, and hyung let me. Recently, D.O. hyung has even joked with me.

And lastly for our loyalty man, Sehun ah thank you for uniting the members solidly, just like an elder brother.
