i love this whole show

@rikkachloechan had to turn this into a screen shot so both the asks could be together since it’s more fun that way hehe! Ooooh boy, the end of s1 is a big one! How’s he doing with TGG so far?? And I bet his shipping is going to be big time amped up starting in s2! I was an instant shipper myself, but I know a lot of folks really got shipping starting in s2e1 or s2e3. In general s2 is just AMAZING anyway, so he’s in for a treat. Good times!!

Shadowhunters 2x14 Reaction/Review: The Episode that Saved it All!

For those of you that keep up with my reviews, It was clear that last week’s episode did nothing but disappoint. Thankfully, this episode came along and saved the whole show, for book fans at least. Finally, afters weeks of waiting, we’ve gotten back into the book stuff that we all love! The reason that last week’s episode didn’t boat well with me was because it was too different from the books. Fortunately, this episode came along and saved the whole show from self destruction.

  • Of course, the Seelie Kiss between Clace! Finally, the most anticipated moment of book two was put on screen! Too bad we had to wait 13 episodes for it…
  • JACE PLAYING THE PIANO! This is one of my favorite things about Jace and I loved how sad it sounded in the beginning of the episode. I think the audience should read into the type of song Jace plays because it really tells you what he’s feeling. :)
  • Magnus acting all diplomatic! He really felt like book Magnus in that scene…
  • Climon split! I liked them better as friends, anyway. I hope they can come back to being buddies!
  • Creepy Sebastian scene with the same song Jace played on the piano. It shows how much Sebastian wants to be like Jace, but can’t. Also, Will Tudor can is the perfect balance of charming and creepy.
  • Raphael and Izzy split. I, personally, didn’t like that ship.
  • Maryse and Izzy having a relationship like in the books…about time…

  • The scene they didn’t add that was in the promo! Where Jace says: “Is it a competition if I always win?” It looked like that was when they were traveling to the Seelie Court. Maybe it will show up in another episode, but who knows…
  • Luke acting reckless. Seemed a little un-Luke like.
  • I still don’t know how to feel about the Seelie Queen being played by a child, but she seemed to do a good job. I just think that a more experienced actor could’ve made her intriguing and creepy like she is in the books.

Overall, this episode was one of my favorite episodes from Shadowhunters. It really felt like it was from the books, mostly because of the institute scenes, Jace’s piano skills, and the Seelie Court Scene. I can’t believe we have to wait an extra week until episode 15!

Okay so apparently trending 27th this month is how we felt when the show (Wander Over Yonder) was canceled. Okay, so I only got into the show recently, so I wasn’t really that aware of the show when it was canceled. I vaguely remember people being really upset when it was canceled, and I felt bad for them. When I started watching the show, I knew it was already over, and as I very quickly started to love the show, it being canceled felt like a punch directly in the nose. This is honestly one of the best cartoons I’ve ever seen, and it’s UNBELIEVABLE to me that it didn’t get the recognition and love it so obviously deserves. It’s so great! I wholeheartedly believe that there’s a chance this show will be brought back, and I’m really proud that the fandom is so insistent on helping the DisneyXD execs understand why you love the show so much. I’ll be supportive the whole rest of the way!

Oh my god, in last night’s Bob’s Burgers, Bob takes Gene to a laser light rock show at the planetarium (super important to Bob, because it was his favorite when he was a teenager, and this is the last night before they’re closing the exhibit because it’s old and no one goes anymore, also it’s Bob’s birthday), and Gene has no idea what he’s in for, but he gets pumped for it anyway ‘cause Bob’s so excited about it, and finally they get in there and they’re watching it, and Gene has a sensory overload and kinda starts freaking out ‘cause he can’t handle it, so Bob takes him out and they sit in the car for a bit.  Gene’s angry because Bob didn’t tell him it would be so loud and scary, so Bob offers to play the album for Gene at a normal volume, and Gene starts to enjoy it, so he reclines the seats, takes out the cigarette lighter, tells Gene to pretend it’s a laser, and starts drawing in the air, explaining the plot to him (it’s like a full on Pink Floyd or Rush-esque rock opera about a bunch of robot overlords telling rockers that they can’t play music anymore, and one Rebel rising against them).  Gene gets really into it and decides he wants to see the finale of the laser show (which Bob regards as a life-changing experience), so they sneak back into the planetarium (there’s no re-entry allowed) with a few tricks that parallel the story from the album, and watch the climax of the show together (Bob fashions some earplugs for Gene out of a napkin).  On the way home, Bob’s asking Gene how he liked it, and Gene says “I loved it!”, Bob asks him to speak louder ‘cause his ear’s are shot, and Gene yells, “I LOVED IT, DAD”.  Bob yells back “I love you too, Gene”.

I FUCKING!!! CAN’T!!! DEAL!!!! WITH HOW GOOD THIS SHOW IS!!! I know i don’t talk about Bob’s Burgers a lot but this show is flawless and charming and gross and funny all at the same time, the characters are written like people with actual fears and anxieties, and unlike a lot of comparable shows, the comedy doesn’t come from the family being pitted against each other, it’s always the family against the world… I love it, I love it, it’s so pure and refreshing and still somehow manages to be funny without sacrificing it’s heart, and I fuckin’ love it, please watch Bob’s Burgers holy CRAP okay I’m done.

I watched Trollhunters a little while ago and it actually inspired me to doodle again soooo here’s some angry changelings not appreciating the whole “impure” thing

“I’m done fighting. I just want to go home.”

“You can’t go home, Julie. I’m sorry. We can go anywhere else in the whole universe, but we can’t go home. I need you to know, whatever happens, wherever you go, you’re not gonna do it alone.”
