‘Why do you love me? What is there to love in someone like me? Please, tell me why you’re so fond of me because honestly? I don’t get it.’
I was perplexed how could he not see why?
‘I love you because you’re you.
I love you because when you smile, your lips always tilt slightly to the left. When you smile your amazingly sharp canines peek through giving you a juvenile look. When you smile, your ever present dimples show more — if that’s even possible —. When you smile, your eyes crease at the edges and your beautiful eyes become slits of pure joy.
I love you because when you laugh, you tilt your head backwards. When you laugh, you always close your eyes. When you laugh, you grasp your stomach and bend over. When you laugh, you always end in a deep sigh and smile after wards, you grasp my face in yours and kiss me as if we’ll never kiss again.
I love you because when I do something you like, you giggle. When I do something you like, you’ll caress my hair and pat my cheeks. When I do something you like, you look at my lips and say, “I fucking love you”. When I do something you like, your eyes bore into mine and I see a flame ignite in them.
I love you because when you’re concentrated you furrow your eyebrows. When you’re concentrated you tongue pokes out of your delicious lips and glides over them. When you’re concentrated, you tend to break out of it for a slight second and do that 'hmmph’ sound you know I like just to give yourself a small break. When you’re concentrated, you grab something to eat with your left hand and bring it to the right side of your mouth and proceed to take a bite.
I love you because when you kiss me, you grab my face with both hands. When you kiss me, one hand pulls on my hair, while the other runs its thumb across my cheek. When you kiss me, you always do a series of multiple pecks after we end making out. When you kiss me, I can feel you smile and let out small giggles of content. When you kiss me, you hold my face in your palms and look at me for a good while then you tell me I’m beautiful.
I love you because when you hug me, you hold me for a long time. When you hug me, you grasp me firmly with both of your strong arms. When you hug me, you use one hand to rub my back. When you hug me, you put your face in the crook of my neck and breathe in my scent. When you hug me, you won’t let me go until we’ve embraced each other tightly.
I love you because when you talk about something you love you smile the whole time. When you talk about something you love, you tend to look down at your hands. When you talk about something you love, you furrow your eyebrows and smirk a little. When you talk about something you love, you let out small sighs of happiness. When you talk about something you love, you always tilt your head to side and shrug your shoulders at the end because you get embarrassed at your enthusiasm.
I love you because when you make me blush, you tease me about it. When you make me blush you put your hands on my cheeks and remark, 'baby your cheeks are hot’ at which point I reply, 'no they’re not, I don’t know what you’re talking about’. When you make me blush you look at my cheeks and smile and say 'baby you’re blushing’. When you make me blush you hold me down and ask me why knowing damn well that makes me blush more.
I love you because when you tell me stories about your past, you say them in a low voice as if speaking louder will make them come back. When you tell me stories about your past, you always hug me and won’t let me go. When you tell me stories about your past, you run your hands through your hair because you know you might cry. When you tell me stories about your past you always mutter the phrase, 'why am I even telling you this?’ And we both know it’s because you love me, and you want me to know what I’m getting into.
I love you because when you notice I’m sad, you’ll look at me and poke my cheeks until I smile. When you notice I’m sad you tell me 'stop being a taco without the shell’ because you know I’ll laugh. When you notice I’m sad, you’ll hug me and tell me you love me. When you notice I’m sad, you’ll ruffle my hair and whisper in my ear, 'Tina eat your goddamn food’, because that llama is our spirit animal.’
I love you for so many reasons, if I listed them all, this poem would never end.
The best way to put it is, I love you because you’re you.
To the children who loved Harry Potter, I want to say your enthusiasm was the real magic. I so enjoyed being on the journey with you. And to the adults who bought the Harry Potter books and devoured them, I just want to say, those books were for children.
The Christmas Invasion - Behind the Scenes [Part 13]
Excerpt from Benjamin Cook’s articles in Doctor Who Magazine #365
How is David enjoying himself, now that he’s had a couple of weeks to settle into the role of the Doctor?
“It’s been great fun so far,” he tells me after the take. “Very exciting.”
Has he slipped into it effortlessly? Or is he still getting used to being Doctor Who?
“It’s in between the two at the moment,” David admits. “You turn up every day and you get on with it - there’s a schedule and you’ve got a job to do - but, every now and again, standing in these caves in my pyjamas, with a broadsword, I look around and there’s Sean dressed up as a huge alien, and down the other end of the cave is the TARDIS blinking away, and I do have a moment of going, ‘This is just unreal! This is impossible!’ I think this episode is particularly good fun, because there’s the sword fight, and the Doctor waking up, and there’s some really great, juicy stuff, so it’s a lovely one to start with.”
It’s just like an Andrew Pixley Archive come to life, isn’t it? [Andrew Pixley wrote behind-the-scenes “Archive” features for Doctor Who Magazine]
“It is!” says David, roaring with laughter. “I mean, it really is! It’s got all the same kind of ridiculousness, and compromises, and highs, and lows, and madness that I suppose this show has always had. It’s very quick, very fast - there’s an awful lot to do. We’ve got a schedule like all TV dramas have a schedule, but also we’ve got special effects, and CGI, and prosthetics, and all that stuff just takes so much time. The attention to detail is amazing.”

Please don’t send me your Infinity Train ideas. I can’t accept them.
Let me run you through a scenario (pretending that the show exists):
1) I come up with an idea for the show.
2) I start implementing the idea.
3) Someone else comes up with a similar idea and sends it to me.
4) The idea that I had ends up in the show.
5) The person who sent me the idea says “hey, that was basically MY idea! You owe me money now!”
6) Some sort of legal battle ensues.
I can’t accept ideas, stories, new characters, new cars, or anything like that for the show because it opens me up to legal ramifications down the line. I don’t seek out fan fiction, as much as I love it, specifically because that’s a legit possibility. I don’t wanna get sued.
So please don’t send me your ideas. I appreciate your enthusiasm, I love how excited everyone is, but we have to have some limits and this is one of them. If I ever read something in a message from you and it has even a whiff of “I had an idea for the show…” I am closing that tab and never looking at the rest of your message because I don’t want to jeopardize anything.
Also, please don’t contact me on Facebook. For me, Facebook is for friends and family only. There are plenty of other ways to get in contact with me online, it’s just facebook that is off limits.
Again, thanks so much for liking and sharing the pilot! I hope to one day have the chance to make you even happier with more Infinity Train!
Behind the Scenes of Army of Ghosts/Doomsday (Part 5) Excerpts from Benjamin Cook’s article in DWM #372
Are Daleks difficult to work with?
“Not at all,” insists the Doctor himself, David Tennant. “The guys who operate them are so good at it, they whizz around, and there’s a beautiful bit - I don’t know if it’ll make the final cut - where they do a little… it’s almost like a dance, when they go around the Genesis Ark, in perfect harmony. They seemed to have total control. It’s fantastic, especially when you get Nick Briggs [who voices both the Daleks and the Cybermen] barking at you, and it’s all happening live. The great thing about working with the Daleks is that it’s all created in the studio - the monsters, and the monster voices, aren’t added in afterwards - so you’re not having to make any imaginative leaps, and you really can sort of face them off. I only had, really, one scene with them, but I did feel finally kind of blooded. You’re not the Doctor until you’ve faced the Dakels.”
“It’s probably a boy thing,” chips in Sophia Myles, who played Madame de Pompadour in The Girl in the Fireplace. She’s visiting David on set, and she’s not all that impressed by Daleks. “I can’t see why the boys get so excited,” she admits.
Author’s notes: Anyone want some fake relationship fluff? I got u, fam. I hope you are feeling much better, anon!! I really wanted a fluff fic done by Valentine’s pero candy is half off today so I mean, technically the 15th is better than Valentine’s Day.
Reconnaissance missions suck.
You run on a gamble of either getting what you need or leaving the planet empty handed. The mission called for gathering intel on the possible Imperial occupation of an Outer Rim planet.
“In and out,” Cassian tells you once you enter the city.
**DISCLAIMER: I will be speaking about OQ in general terms but please note that I do not mean “ALL” Outlaw Queen shippers. If this post does not apply to you, take no offense to it. If you feel offended by it, my mama always told me “a hit dog will holler” and “if the shoe fits…”**
So, I’m in an anxiety ridden mood and I’ve been passive aggressively sitting on my thoughts/feelings about this issue for a while and I’m at a point now where I just HAVE to say something:
Outlaw Queen shippers don’t give two flying fucks about Regina.
We have become almost as bad as Captain Swan shippers with our obsession over Robin/Sean. Lana has become our pretty prop, much like JMo did in the end for CS.
Robin has been dead for nearly two seasons and we’re still trying to get him back, refusing to watch because he’s gone…as if Outlaw Queen was solely about Robin.
I get being mad about how the writers screwed us over. Hell, I’m the same girl who was/is/will probably forever be bitter about Mark Sloan being killed off in Season 9 of Grey’s Anatomy, which is now in its 14th season.
I was a SUPER hard Addison/Sam shipper on Private Practice. I felt like Shonda screwed Addison and Sam over . When Jake came into the picture, I didn’t like him but y'know what happened? I realized that Jake made Addison happy and being an Addison fan, I was all for her finding happiness even if it wasn’t with who I wanted.
When the new characters were announced, 3 of which were WOC, I saw a LOT of Outlaw Queen shippers bitching in Adam’s twitter mentions about how “we don’t care about these new people because it’s not Robin/Sean”
I’m sorry but no, matter of fact HELL NO.
It’s upsetting to me that OQ shippers don’t wanna see Regina happy because she’s not with Robin.
If you think Regina’s happiness can only be found in Robin then a) you don’t respect Regina’s autonomy, and b) you CLEARLY missed what Regina stated her happiness to be in 4x20:
“My ending isn’t with Robin. My happy ending is finally feeling at home in the world…Robin is just part of that world,”
And he was part of that world and unfortunately, that world was turned upside down and Robin is sadly no longer part of it.
Just because Robin died doesn’t mean Regina’s whole world stops.
If you claim to love Outlaw Queen, you would know and respect that Robin would want Regina to be happy, and he wouldn’t want her doing that alone. In fact, I’m pretty sure Robin would say something very similar to Daniel,
I won’t even begin to touch on the grossness that was/is reversing Regina’s infertility curse/wishing that baby Peanut was dead while actively harassing people who learned to love baby Peanut, being mad about the Marian/Zelena thing because it stood in the way of an OQ baby.
I am sad about the way OQ played out on screen, but I didn’t start watching this show solely for Robin/Sean, I was here for Regina first and foremost and if you claim to love Regina like you say, her happiness shouldn’t be determined on whether or not she ends up with Robin.
I would address how it makes me feel as a WOC OQ fan to see y'all defending, protecting, and demanding Sean come back to the show but from what I’ve seen, dead ass silent about the way that Regina/Roni could and has been seen as a stereotypical Latina caricature by many WOC, some of whom are OQ fans. In fact, some of y'all LOVE that shit where Regina is all curly haired and wearing jeans and whatnot; you’re probably working on fics where Roni is sassy and probably has an accent and she meets Robin the bar…
How many of you have actually bothered to read through posts about the concerns from POC fans in terms of the treatment of the new WOC? How many of we’re upset that someone literally erased Gabrielle Anwar and replaced her with JMo for a manip? The bigger question is do y'all care that we’re getting 3 new WOC?
My guess would be no, since a lot of y'all dismissed them while you were begging for Robin/Sean to come back…
It’s gross and bordering on racist; it’s privileged at the very least. So that being said, I’m done actively shipping OQ in canon, because my fellow/former shipmates don’t give a damn about Regina. She’s just a pretty prop so that y'all can write cute domestic fanfics where Robin has his beautiful wife and they have their beautiful little naturally convinced princess…possibly with Henry and Roland (who is more than likely Regina’s bio son) as supporting/background characters.
This question should be illegal. I’m only taking the students because that would be too hard I love Yoshitori and Aizawa too much and dhojdfkhfjds.
[WARNING MANGA SPOILERS!]
1. Kirishima Eijirou
Cinnamon roll. Deserves everything. I’m not gonna be great at explaining why I love him - or just everyone in this list - because it’s just this feeling of overwhelming love when you see a character you like fhjdkfsd.
He’s talented, strong in his determination and in his power, and his kindness doesn’t have limits. Sunshine.
Even though he has self-confidence issues, he’s always here to help people. He does realize he has flaws but is working on it the best he can. I admire the fact that he overcomes his fears but you can still clearly see the internal struggling. (This is a great character development we got here if you check his past.)
Also, Bakugou respects him. And if you gain Bakugou’s respect, you must REALLY have something because Bakugou’s not the easiest person to please. He didn’t even try to it just happened
Kirishima Eijirou is the best friend everyone would dream of.
2. Midoriya Izuku
He was my first favorite before Kirishima’s story came out
Who the heck is even this boy? How pure is he? How stupid was this reaction of his to save Bakugou in the very beginning when even the heroes - even All Might - didn’t move? Also, the fight against Todoroki? The boy BROKE HIS BONES, and SEVERAL TIMES for his friend to move on. That’s- I have no words.
Midoriya Izuku is the perfect next symbol of Peace: his selfness and need to help people wasn’t made by his quirk but by his soul and that’s what pleased most people, and his dream won’t be stopped no matter what. All Might chose well.
3. Uraraka Ochako
Look at her. She’s shivering and yet smiling and explicitely showing to her friends “I’m good, don’t worry.”
THIS GIRL ROCKS. She’s so clever. She’s talented. She fought against Katsuki Fucking Bakugou and could have won. I was in awe when I realised what was her plan all along during the fight. I’m still not over it.
And her motivation? No, not money, not really. Money is a mean to a goal. Her goal is to help her parents who she loves dearly and it’s one of the most adorable things. She wants to become her parents’ hero because they were the heroes of her childhood - look back when she was a kid how she admired their work and how frustrated she was not to be able to help.
I’m so excited about her she has so much potential.
4. Tamaki Amajiki
I honestly don’t know much about him - like everyone else I guess? But from what I’ve seen, this character is… different. I can’t really explain. Actually, all the characters are really different, the author is doing a great job for so many characters.
I was surprised to hear about a group of three amazing future heroes, and see this guy, so shy, so awkward, with a real anxiety towards people - this is not comic relief to me. And this is important. Tamaki is going in front of a class, with two of his best friends/team-mates, and tries to stand up for what he believes in.
And since the last chapters I’m really worried about him I need new content pls help
5. Todoroki Shouto
Very complexed character. His past makes who he is now. He is physically marked by the disfunctional family father he’s living with, and mentally too. You can’t make me believe seeing his mother in such a state, hurt him, and losing her for the rest of his childhood isn’t a great impact on his personality. You can’t tell me, having a “dad” who forbid you to play with your siblings to train for his own selfishness didn’t touch him.
This is a terrible past, and I realize how Todoroki actually easily confessed it to someone in his class - to Midoriya. But doing this is the first step of the development of his character which made me love him, oh so much.
I liked the grudge he’s holding against his father, and the fact that he still does, but put it apart in order to follow is own ideals, his own project. I was so proud of him when he chose to work with Endeavor because he figured it was the best for his powers.
This kid is so young but so mature already. He faced his father, and then came to see his mother on his own, to face her too. That’s amazingly brave.
And finally, in the scans for the “Bakugou Arc” Todoroki more and more cares about not just his own motivations, but also his classmates. LOOK AT HIS FACE WHEN THEY TAKE AWAY HIS FRIEND. You can definitely see it before tho, when he’s teaming up with Momo and listens to her after realizing he might have been too focused on himself and not on sharing ideas.
Also did I tell you how incredible and badass his power is?
6. Kaminari Denki
Another precious boy. But who isn’t? Mine-who? Don’t know this guy.
Let’s just appreciate this pic of our Human Pikachu.
I don’t feel like he got a lot of moments yet, so I’m really excited about knowing more about him, but I liked him right from the beginning - I actually liked him more than Kirishima at first. He’s motivated to do his best, but knows his limits. Even though he still acts without thinking sometimes and that’s killing me xD
He rocks. That’s all I can say. In this arc, he nailed it, and-
He got his bff’s support, which is BIG. (Also, again, Bakugou). He improved a lot and I’m so proud of him.
Despite what a lot of people think, my son is clever. Just remember he’s a 15 yo guy and teens do mistakes and stupid things all the time.
I remember reading somewhere he’s always showing his thumbs up to let everyone know he’s alright once he’s off. This is incridibly touching. I don’t know about you, but if even when his brain turns off, his last will or his subconscious is yelling at him to let everyone know he’s good and that they can go on, I think already a little part of his job, as a future hero, is completed.
You go, Denki.
7. Mirio Togata (also known as Tintin)
I didn’t know I would love him. I thought I would like him, but I didn’t know my heart would just go down and drown with the last chapters. I hate this manga sometimes.
He looks so nice. So at ease. All the time. He trained so hard, I understand Izuku’s expression in this panel. This guy is impressive and you don’t realize it right away but when you do- oh damn. I mean. He was supposed to be the next Hero of Peace.
D E T E R M I N A T I O N in everything he does, in his beliefs. I also believe - and I’m pretty sure - he’s helping Tamaki with his social issues and awkwardness.
Listen to him he knows what he’s talking about everything’s okay*sobs*
8. Katsuki Bakugou
Alright what about Bakugou. I like his character. He’s unstable, and that makes my feelings also unstables. His agressivity is the reason why I’m a bit indicisive, but he does have great moments which explain why he’s in this top 10.
Believe it or not, despite ALL OF HIS FLAWS, Bakugou is a human being. A shitty human being yes - I’m referring to the very first episodes (I can’t forgive him to, basically, tell Izuku to kill himself, ‘who cares’) - but still human. I LOVE his character development. He’s being forced to consider his classmates and - hey everyone knows that, this guy is pretty clever.
One of the many reasons I love Bakugou: his fight with Uraraka. She fought with everything she could give, and he NEVER once underestimated her. Here’s something I need to see more: don’t judge the oponent by the way they look, and please especially not if they happen to be a woman. The whole croud yelled at him for “torturing” and “hurting” a girl, but that’d be okay with a guy? C’mon. I’m proud of you, Bakugou.
He also notices more than he seems to, like in this panel, for Izuku’s power. ‘
I’m really glad we got this moment of pure angst - I’m sorry I hated it but it also made Bakugou so much more human? He’s a kid. A kid with issues. And he lived traumatising things.
But he doesn’t talk about those events. Because he’s too proud. But in the end? He’s just holding those regrets, those feelings of guilt, and cries them out. He’s a mess and he is lost.
Plus great bonus: friendship. Bakugou never seemed to develop strong relationships before, his only one with someone of his age is with Deku and that’s not one of the healthiest. But then you get Kirishima. And later on, a bit Kaminari, and more. He’s trusting Kirishima with his life (cf. first panels in Kirishima’s examples), and cares about him. THAT IS IMPORTANT.
Let us see how GREAT Bakugou is going to become and let me grab some pop-corn before I die in the process because it’s not gonna happen with some angst
9. Ashido Mina
Actually I loved the Alien Queen, I’m sad she didn’t get to keep the name.
I can’t really tell much. She’s extraordinary.
I love her enthusiasm and ‘joie de vivre’. She’s giving the class a great atmosphere of friendship etc. And she kinda rocks her abilities. Also, pays attention to her classmates’ powers and takes advantage out of it (cf. Battle against the Laser French Guy).
Plus: she inspired Kirishima, somehow? HORN BUDDIES? Oh dang, I loved this so much. I want them to be partners as heroes now.
10. Yaoyorozu Momo
The Precious Princess.
I didn’t pay much attention to her at first but her power is really nice. She’s in charge of the class with Iida, and I’m proud of her.
She is always willing to help and contribute, but since she was admitted by recommendation, I guess this is why she started losing the confidence she started with - but she also compared herself to Todoroki which wasn’t a good idea, the guy has TWO abilities.
In this arc where she’s in team with Todoroki, I liked her more and more. Thanks to Aizawa the communication and exchanges get better and she gains more confidence after they win thanks to HER plan after Todoroki’s failed - that means a lot to her.
AND HERE IT’S DONE. I have so many things to say honestly I spent too many times on it already damn.
I can’t believe I didn’t put Tsuyu or Fumikage please end me. This list is absolutely unstable and could easily change how can I do a top seriously?
[PS: It’s almost 3am sorry for the bad English hrm]
There are so many, MANY scenes from the finale that I would want to redraw (and might still do sometime), but time was short, and I wanted to mark the anniversary of the finale in some way. So I settled on pretty much my favorite moment from the end-credits sequence. I LOVE EVERYTHING ABOUT THIS. I love how symbolic it is of Stan and Ford’s mended relationship, I love Stan’s enthusiasm and playfulness, and his physicality, and I will always love it when Ford looks startled (but I also love that he’s relaxed enough to take off his trench-coat and gun-belt, and to allow his brother to surprise him).
Thank you, Alex Hirsch and the entire Gravity Falls team, for such a wonderful show that captured my heart. And thank you for making this past year a better one than it would have been without Gravity Falls in my life.
(My own 1-year anniversary of starting to watch the show comes up next week; maybe I can get something done for that too.)
(i just used a show screenshot for the background here, just to be clear)
