Jimin Imagine: The Vow
“To those who continue to love without conditions.”
The doors opened with a swish and everyone stood up and turned around. You looked like an angel, from the way your white dress floated around you. Underneath your veil. Your hair was curled, and the smile that graced your painted lips made you look radiant. The bouquet in your hands had your favorite flowers in them.
Jimin looked at you, a series of flashbacks with thoughts about you began to replace his reality.
I will never forget your smile when I laid my eyes on you. His thoughts started, I told myself, ‘she’s the one’.
From that day onwards, I already know that you’re the one I want to spend the rest of my life with.
So to you, I make this promise that I will be the man for you.
You walked down the aisle slowly, each guest and family member looking at you and murmuring how you look good, and so on. If he could, he would go down the aisle and kiss you right there or sweep you out of the church without the vows and everything else.
I promise to make you laugh. I’ll be there whenever you need me. I’ll be patient with you at all times.
I love you very much, and I wanted you to be the happiest person in the world.
He stares at you, his heart beating wildly in his chest. You stared back. Jimin watched as you gave him a half-smile, and slowly pass him by to the groom.
Even if we didn’t end up together.
The groom’s face glowed with a smile, he takes your arm and you both walked in front of the altar. You mouthed a ‘thank you’ at him before facing the priest, excited for what the rest of your life would be like.
He smiled, holding back the tears that we’re beginning form. “After all, I always did want to see you walk down the aisle with a white dress on.”
