everybody lives AU | AKATSUKI
• setting — the Last

Akatsuki becomes a mercenary group for hire, as they did in Road to Ninja.
This is more appropriately named the “everybody comes back to life and somehow things work out AU”… but as promised, 10 Akatsuki members in the timeline of The Last! Designing is fun (esp the village flak jackets) (・∀・)

See more extensive character/AU details below the cut!:

Most designs are inspired by past outfits or early character sketches by Kishi (for example, Obito and Konan, respectively).

Qhat are your most FAVOURITE images of the Uchiha clan? Manga, anime or fanart. Because I am THIRSTY for the Uchihas~

She was an INCREDIBLE artist that left the fandom some time ago. Shame we lost her because she was just…phenomenonal. Loved every piece of work that she did. Every last one.

Is it okay to ask why you like Shino so much?

Mah boi Shino was so misunderstood in the beginning, and I related to him so hard when I was younger. In the Chuunin exams for him and his team, every action he did was so powerful, his words are powerful. “Never underestimate your enemy, no matter how small”. “Two aces are better than one” but then so is a royal flush

In Pre-Ship, he’s shown to be stoic, smart, and strong. He’s strategic, he knows what he’s doing, and he’ll keep his team safe at the same time. Also, cute.

In Shippuuden, he’s developed more of that edge, ‘edge’ meaning ‘wits’. In the beginning of Shippuuden, he’s forgotten. Naruto doesn’t know who he is, and, me being me, I instantly related. He’s still bitter about being left behind on retrieving Sasuke, yeah, but he still has that mentality of “If I were there, I could have tracked him”. He’s smarter, he’s got a keen sense of his surroundings, and he’s more in tune with his beetles. Now, hot.

During the war, Shino saved his team by using the signals he created years ago, telling Kiba to follow his lead in rock-paper-scissors. He had to kill his cousin who had been reanimated during the war. Without the collar? I wished he was real.

When Shino was still just a kid, like 7ish, he caught the eye of Danzo. Danzo asked his father if Shino could join Root. If it hadn’t been for Torune, Shino would have ended up even more closed off, having to kill his fellow comrades-in-arms to advance. It shows that he was still very strong as a child, able to keep that cool demeanour about him.

I guess, I just really like the underdog, another reason why I could pay Tenten to punch me. Shino’s character just reached out to me, telling me that the little things you do is the better option sometimes. You don’t need to be the loudest, or the most liked, or the best dressed, or whatever.

Shino’s character isn’t perfect, not by a long shot, but I love him to bits. I’ve been bullied my whole life, and while Shino really hasn’t, he still knows what it’s like to be alone in a crowded room. He’s comfortable with who he is, he’s smart, and he’s analytical.

Where it Happened - ItaSaku - Grey’s Anatomy AU

Where it Happened
Rated T-ish

Adrenaline was making the blood roar in Sakura’s ears. Her heart was pounding almost painfully against her ribs, but she ignored it in favor of focusing on the patient open on her table. It was a race against the clock, a fight to keep the tear in her patient’s aorta from rupturing and causing further, fatal damage.

“Dammit! Give me another clamp,” Sakura ordered.

She held her hand out for the tool but her emerald gaze never wavered from the tear she could see threatening to widen in the major artery. With practiced ease, she worked quickly to slow the bleeding before she held out her hand for the stitch that would hopefully keep the artery closed until the patient could receive a new valve.

The first suture was strong but the rest were refusing to hold and she cursed again as she did her best to keep herself and the bleeding under control. One slight mistake, one slight change in her patient’s current condition and they would end tonight in the morgue rather than the ICU.

“Will someone please explain to me what exactly my patient is doing on your table.”
