Just Tattoo of Us

A/N: Well, hello there. It’s been a while. This request has been sitting in my inbox for decades and I’ve only just found the motivation, inspiration, and dedication to write this up. What in damnation. This one… It’s not my favourite, let’s just put it that way. And also, I’ve made Harley seem like such a bimbo in this so I apologise, it was just a writing technique to create a contrast. But anyways, this was fun to write, taking some inspiration from my muse in my RP’s, thank you very much, @thekrazykeke and @i-got-that-smilex my darlings, I love you. So enjoy this one, my loves, and I’ll see you next time x.

Request: Hi! If you’re still doing requests could you do one where the reader is Mr. J’s tattoo artist, the only one he hasn’t killed. Maybe have a jealous Harley in it.

Warning(s): Swearing, slight (sexual) violence i.e. choking, sexual references, light dirty talk, Cheater!Joker, Jealous!Harley

The bell dinged, signifying yet another customer entering the already crowded tattoo studio. Mind you, it was a Saturday at 1:19pm in the middle of a busy city - Gotham; to be exact.

City of Crime.

Has a ring to it.

Even though the dangerous city had quite the crude reputation to be… crooked, let’s say, she loved living in it. It was just something about living life on the edge - never really knowing whether the next day would be her last - that excited her and she couldn’t get enough of the rush that came with it.

Though of course, the perks also came with a few disadvantages, that many would say would be a little too colossal of a problem and would turn them away from moving to the crime-ridden town.

You know, just a tad of a turn-off.

She had run into - well, saw at the corner of a street and then swivelled in the other direction as fast as she could - many a criminal during her occasional strolls through the underworld.

Don’t take a midnight stroll on the wrong side of town, I’m telling you. It’s not a good idea.

There was one special occasion, however.

Meeting the one, the only, the infamous, Joker: Clown Prince of Crime - the ‘Jester of Genocide’, if you will - under the pale moonlight oddly drew her being towards him in some sort of way. Which way that was, she didn’t know herself yet. Maybe curiosity, maybe incredulity, maybe attraction, but she was certainly intrigued by the acid-washed man.

Now, the woman wasn’t an idiot, nor ignorant, at that. She had acknowledged the presence of his partner in crime - his Harley Quinn - nevertheless, she persisted in trying to get into his circle of trust, to be his friend, in an obscure form.

You would think being his tattoo artist wouldn’t get her very far, huh?

She was the only tattoo artist within a 3 mile radius of his unknown location in which he and Harley lived.

I wasn’t kidding when I said the tattoo studio was crowded. How much do you wanna bet getting a micro-sized rose on your ankle is? Joker made sure she was earning as much as your standard lawyer or doctor in the city by taking the liberty to act on some pretty drastic measures.

Basically, he execute every other tattoo artist in the general area, to put it simply.

How sweet.

But as one can imagine, his significant other would be slightly suspicious, and that was to be expected when your man paid special and notable attention to another woman. Yes, jealously wasn’t exactly an aspired trait in a normal relationship. But anyone who knew about them and their past knew that Harley Quinn and her Joker were anything but ordinary.

Jumping into a VAT full of bubbling acid to prove your love for a psychopath who manipulated you?

No thank you.

Although, with saying that, the adrenaline-addicted tattoo artist from a family background was seemingly willing to do anything and everything but.

“I was thinking about a new lip tattoo, whaddya think?” A deep yet velvety voice broke her from her trance and snapped her back to reality where she noticed she had just been staring out of the recently cleaned, sparkling window, wielding a tattoo pen that was still whirring from inscribing her art onto her last customer - she had forgotten to turn the machine off before spacing out.

Quickly switching the it off, she swallowed before looking up at the blindingly green-haired man standing in front of the mirror and pulling at his bottom lip, inspecting.

“Well if you want it to say "P U S S Y”, count me out.“ She retorted with a quick wit, something she never really understood if it was a gift or a curse. Her sharp tongue usually got her into some hefty trouble more than a few times. But hey, she was comical.

Her comment earned a chuckle from him which in turn made her smile to herself. Making him laugh was always a daily mission for her. To see him smile because of what she did or said was always an achievement.

"That’s why I like you, doll. You always have some sarcastic remark. It’s refreshing. Hearing the words "yes, Daddy” and “play with me, Daddy” from Harls everyday gets repetitive over time.“ He sauntered over after checking himself once over in the mirror - vain bastard - and sat on the extended tattoo couch, now level with her, as she had been sitting in her spinny chair, whilst she discarded of her old rubber gloves and put on a new pair, the sound of the material smacking against her skin as she pulled on them.

"Oh, I’m sure it must be very tiring to have kinky sex on the daily, J.” She rolled her eyes as she used his nickname that only certain people were allowed to call him. He normally only allowed others to refer to him as “Joker” or “Mister J”. She snickered at the glare he gave her before continuing, not adhering the warning. “I’m serious! Ya gotta use the handcuffs, the ropes, the ice, the foreplay, the whips… I would imagine fucking your tailor-made girlfriend who obeys your every command would be absolutely tedious.”

His hands were around her throat and squeezing within seconds after she had finished her sentence, making her stand up with him and letting him push her back into the wall with a thump, a constricted grunt of slight pain resounding from her closed throat. Her doe eyes looked up and met his narrowed ones with only a few inches between them.

“I don’t think you want to know just how interesting I can really be with my toys, doll-face, so I suggest you shut up about my sex life unless you want me to prove to you that you’re wrong.” His threat was laced with a presence of sexual tension. The sensation of his fingers around her neck and his breath fanning her face with seducing threats that came with his body mere centimetres away from hers almost made her knees buckle from underneath her and she had to stop herself from releasing an audible moan of desperation and anticipation from thinking about what he could do to her right then and there.

The two of them must’ve stayed in that position - staring each other down with nothing but their laboured breaths filling the room - for a solid five or so minutes until the door to the room slammed wide open and a bustling bleached-blonde skipped in, the sound of her heels tapping against the floorboards jolting the woman held against the wall back to life and she tried pulling away, but to no avail. Keeping his grip tight, but not tight enough to cut off the airways, he continued to gaze intently into her eyes. His glazed over with a fire burning deep inside of him that he didn’t conjure with his girlfriend any longer.

“Puddin’?…” A mixed tone of anger, disappointment, and rejection was detectable from Harley as the nickname for her lover spewed from her red lips. Walking into a secluded room to see the man she loved with a woman she had already been jealous of, in a position she thought was only reserved for her in the bedroom, brung out the worst in her as she felt the rage bubbling up inside at an increasing rate. Ready to pounce at the bitch trying to steal her boyfriend, she was stopped by the voice she had fallen in love with.

“Harley, sweetums, I want you to go home and be ready for me for when I get back, okay? Daddy’s going to get a new tattoo and I was just in the middle of telling our artist here exactly what I want. Detail… by… detail.” The reply had a sickly sweet underlay to it which, to any typical person, could’ve been easily picked up on and scoffed at - something she almost did - but to Harley, blinded by her emotions towards the criminal, it was just another demand for sex which she gladly complied to every time. She looked past everything she had just witnessed only minutes ago after hearing the pet name she had been called, convincing herself that the man dangerously close to a woman that wasn’t her, still loved her in his own way.

“Alright, Daddy, but don’t be long. I’ll be waiting…” An exaggerated grin, accompanied by a giggle, was sent in his direction before she turned on her heel and walked through the doorway, shutting the door with a click after her.

Shoving his body off of her, the trained tattoo artist dramatically gagged and stuck her forefinger inside her mouth. She was amazed yet disgusted at the same time at how submissive a woman could be towards a man. Never in her life did she witness such obedience without question to someone who was clearly not right in the noggin’.

“You’ve messed her up, J. Like real bad. She worships the ground you walk on. She’s just your fucking sex toy and she doesn’t even realise it, thinking you "love” her and shit.“ A rant had been building up inside of her until finally it started to be projected. "I kinda feel sorry for the girl. She was a psychologist, a good one at that, with a Ph.D, and you’ve somehow manipulated her and worked your way into her mind so that now she’d do anything for you. She’d die for you.”

“And that’s how I like it. People in this city respect me, all becau-.”

“That’s not respect! That’s psychological torture and I’ll be damned if I end up like another one of your 'dolls’ you can have fun with one minute and couldn’t give a fuck about the next.” She didn’t notice but she had begun to yell with pent up anger flowing out of her, she didn’t even register entirely what she was saying.

She had wanted to be by his side for as long as she could remember after meeting him, as his companion, his partner, his lover. She had thought she could replace Harley and become his new Queen of Crime. However, after seeing what previous Dr. Harleen Quinzel had now become under his hands, she begun to have second thoughts.

“You think I would treat you just like some random woman I picked up from the club? Oh, no, no, no. You… are one of a kind. You’re unique… You’re mine.” As he spoke  these enticing words in a sultry manner, he came closer. Each step forward he made, resulted in one step backward for her until the back of her knees hit the chair and she fell back into it, now laying down. She watched as he placed his hands either side of her on the arm rests and wedged his knees beside her, crawling up her body until he was hovering above.

Her breath became uneven as she tried to stop herself from giving in and looking down at his crimson lips that looked o so kissable. “I want you. And the things I want, I get, no matter how. I know you’ve been wanting me since the first time you saw me. I know you touch yourself at night at the thought of me doing dirty things to you. When you’re alone in bed and your mind keeps drifting off to think about what I could do with your body. And I know how badly you want to feel full. You want me inside you. Isn’t that right?”

The way he spoke her thoughts aloud without caring who heard him made her cheeks turn a shade of red so deep she didn’t even think it possible and her core slick with want and need. The rough nature of his gravelly voice mixed with the undertones of lust and greed for her, visibly shook her as goosebumps appeared on her skin. Hearing all of these sinful words whispered from the mouth she had tried to resist earlier made her reach up to pull his head down as she just couldn’t take the teasing any longer, connecting their lips together in a heated, passionate kiss.

A growl was released from the depths of his throat as he shifted his body weight onto his elbows either side of her head and pressed his lower half into her, allowing her to feel what she did to him without touching him once. Hands moving to grip his shirt around his torso, she opened her mouth to grant him access to explore with his tongue before moaning gently.

Amongst all the fiery desire and passion the both of them were sharing, she had managed to remember a specific moment that had happened during his visit to the studio earlier before which made her pull away from his hungry lips to add her sarcastic rebuttal, as she always did,

Play with me, Daddy.”

Freddie Highmore tells #EntertainmentWeekly that the final episode is the saddest yet funniest episode ever.

“It will be interesting to see to what extent we’ll get to see Norman again — when or if we’ll get to see Norman again in the course of the last two episodes, now that Mother’s completely taken him over,” Freddie Highmore tells EW.

“I love the self-confidence that Mother has,” Highmore says. “She knows how to manipulate people. She can trick them into believing her story. I found it very funny the idea that she is going as far as she can in terms of telling the story and trying to push people’s buttons and feeling like she’s on top of it and then ultimately the rug’s pulled from beneath her feet She just keeps trying to box herself out of whatever corner she’s put in,” he adds. “She won’t go down without a good old fight.”

“The last episode could actually be my favorite episode that we’ve ever done,” he says. “Everything seemed to click. And it made me laugh out loud. It could be the funniest episode that we’ve ever done at the same time as being the saddest.”

A lot of these posts “””defending””” Molly Hooper after that last episode are really rubbing me up the wrong way, because I swear NONE of y’all have given a single shit about Molly until now. I’ve had to endure 3 years of people saying it’s “pathetic” that Molly slapped Sherlock because he “didn’t return her feelings” (WHICH IS NOT WHY SHE HIT HIM OH MY GOD), and I’ve had to listen to people say her silly crush on Sherlock is embarrassing or that she needs to grow up and move on. Even when she’s been praised, she hasn’t been praised as an engaging and interesting character, as the sweet, kind and intelligent young pathologist she is, she’s been praised because she allegedly serves as a prop to further a relationship between two gay men. Which - guess what guys, IS NOT PROGRESSIVE.

But oh, now that her feelings have finally been vindicated, now suddenly it’s poor Molly and Molly deserves better. But listen. I’m the first person to say that Sherlock’s got major problems with writing women. Ask me about Mary’s fridging sometime. And yes, I wish to God Molly had more screentime, but this idea that her final scene is about glamorising abusive relationships or that Molly was nothing but a prop is killing me.

Do you know what I saw when I watched that scene with Eurus and Molly?

I saw a character who had undergone tremendous growth over the past four seasons. Originally intended as a one-off, but so spellbindingly brought to life by Loo Brealey that she was made a non-canon recurring character, Molly has grown from timid, mousy and submissive to a woman more than willing to stand up for herself, whose kindness is her strength and whose love was the undoing of Moriarty. She’s smart - she’s the literal embodiment of medical and pathological knowledge in Sherlock’s mind palace. She proved you can be soft and strong, that vulnerability doesn’t have to mean weakness, and that you can stand up to someone and demand better treatment in a gentle voice.

And, God forbid, she’s also in love with a man. But she’s never been given the opportunity to say so. Her feelings, which have been a strength and a weakness, are visible enough to us and everyone in the show, but she’s never said it out loud.

Now, truth in fiction is a rare substance. It always takes a tremendous amount of pressure for two people to be completely honest with each other, especially if that truth concerns feelings of love. The question, “what will it take to make Molly tell Sherlock she loves him?” is answered in this scene. And the answer is: Sherlock needs to say I love you first.

And do you know who was in control in that scene? Molly. Every single step of the way. At any moment she could have told Sherlock to stick it up his arse and hung up. There would have been no repercussions for her. Sherlock tries in myriad ways to get an I love you and she blocks him every time, says “leave me alone,” tells him she won’t let him make fun of her, tells him she’s not an experiment. She hasn’t been treated well by Sherlock and John this season, is still grieving over Mary, is probably suffering depression, and she’s sick of Sherlock’s nonsense. She’s willing to help if it’s urgent, but she’s done playing games.

She tells him she can’t say it because it’s true. It’s always been true. She’s always loved him. Do you have any idea how long we’ve waited for her feelings to be validated? At last, no, it’s not a stupid girlish crush, it’s not infatuation, it’s a beautiful, selfless love that she cherishes for him. She loves this man. She saved his life. She stood up to him. She refused to tolerate shabby treatment from him. She was happy to be his friend. She moved on and found a new man, but when Sherlock came back, she had to be honest with herself, and she decided it would be better to be alone than marry a man she doesn’t really love. She is so brave, and so selfless, and she’s never once made her feelings his problem. That’s why she begs him - don’t make me say it because it’s true, it’s always been true.

And then, still feeling like this must be a game somehow, she challenges him to say it first. Go on. If you want me to make a fool of myself, then you have to go first. I’m not jumping until you do. Molly can see through him; he can’t manipulate her like he did in S1. She’s not that person anymore. And he’s not that person anymore, either. Eurus didn’t rig Molly’s flat with explosives, and Sherlock didn’t win when he supposedly saved her life, because it wasn’t about that. It was about torturing Sherlock emotionally, and where once he manipulated her without a second thought, hurting Molly now is like vivisection to him. Eurus - Molly - both get him to admit “I love you” - twice. Once, because he was trying to save her life - the second time because he realised it was true. As a friend, or something more, who even cares, he loves her and he realises just how much.

And still, Molly is in control. She can hang up, if she wants. She contemplates it. But then, almost kissing the phone, perhaps having recognised the note of sincerity in his voice, she whispers, I love you.

Too often an unrequited crush ends when a character suddenly finds a new man or woman, falls in love, and gets over their old feelings, and has a happily ever after with this random new person. But I’ve always found that maddeningly dissatisfying, and even though it comes from horrific circumstances, I’m so glad that Molly’s feelings were validated, not because Sherlock returned them, but simply because those feelings are hers, and they are real, they’ve always been real, and it hurts, god it hurts, but at least she was able to be honest. The cut has been made, the truth is revealed, and now she can begin to heal. She doesn’t have to keep those words festering inside her. Molly loves Sherlock, and it took him telling her he loved her to admit that.

And Sherlock’s a wreck afterwards. He caresses those words “I love you” and thinks about how he always believed caring was not an advantage. He thinks about selfless, kind Molly Hooper, who had always loved him, and saved him, whose love was her strength, whose love was doomed, who would not suppress or deny her feelings, but merely kept them to herself to spare him discomfort and then -

He thinks about Molly in that coffin. He thinks about losing her. He thinks about what he’s just said to her. He thinks of how he’s hurt her.

No.

He loses control. Always, he’s pretended to be pure intellect, has always clung to rationality, but in this moment he is nothing but emotion. Rage, pain, fear, sadness, needing to destroy this coffin, smashing it to pieces, screaming in agony because of how much he feels for this woman.

Molly loves Sherlock. We’ve known for a long time. And I truly feel that Molly being allowed to own those feelings, because they are hers, regardless of whether they are reciprocated or not, is far more powerful than sweeping them under the rug and pretending they never existed or that she got over them just fine. This is how she feels, and no she won’t tolerate poor treatment because of them, and no she won’t put up with him playing games, but yes - she will be there when he needs her, because that’s just who she is.

ktzen  asked:

hi! my cat does well known "affection" traits towards me (grooms me, purrs, slow blinks, etc.) but how do i know she actually loves me and isn't just manipulating me to turn on the sink for her?

Because a) cats are social animals that naturally live in colonies with others and form reciprocal affiliative bonds with other cats, and you are effectively the only colony she has and b) there’s a lot of debate about if cats are capable of deception to the degree of manipulation, but the general consensus is no.

Now, cats can learn that it’s effective to slow blink at you to get what she wants, but isn’t something inherent to your relationship or how she feels about you - that’s going to depend on how your actions reinforce her behaviors. If you stop turning the faucet on forever and ever, she’s still probably going to groom you.

Diabolik Lovers Rant

(Apologies to my non-DL followers! ^^”)

So, getting straight to the point, it seriously makes me mad when I see people crapping all over Yui for “not defending herself.” First of all, she certainly isn’t weak. While she may not be physically strong, her mental strength astounds me. She is so understanding and patient and strong willed. Even after going through countless forms of mental and physical abuse that would drive most others to suicide, she has been steadfast in her kindness.

“But if she’s so mentally strong, then why did she freeze up when the sakamakis first trapped her?”

Guys, she’s a normal girl who was just thrown into a terrifying and seemingly impossible supernatural situation and you expect her to not react the way she did?  It’s human nature. I’ve read all these fan fictions with a reader or a protagonist or an OC who’s over powered and bad-ass with that “I don’t give a fuck” attitude. Let’s remember that the sakamaki mansion alone has three to four vampires who wouldn’t hesitate to kill you if you disobeyed them directly. These fan fictions have instances where the reader (or OC) threatens someone, like Ayato for example, and puts on the whole “I’m a vampire hunter, I’ll never submit to you, you don’t own me etc.” In the fan fiction Ayato sees it as confidence and falls in love with the reader instantly. In cannon he’d probably snap your neck.

I don’t think enough people realize that most of us wouldn’t last a week in that mansion. It’s even stated that Yui probably would have been killed by them if they hadn’t been given orders not to do so. If someone as compassionate, understanding, patient, and emotionally strong as Yui would have been killed within a few weeks, do you really think any of us would last that long? I can guarantee you 98% of us wouldn’t survive either mansion. And if you’re reading this and thinking “Psssh well I’m totally in the 2% that would survive!” Then I can guarantee that you’d die. There’s so many people who always say “I’d survive them no problem because I can handle myself and  defend myself unlike Yui!” Well guess what? That’s the kind of people they love manipulating and breaking the most.

And going back to Yui, let’s take note that she does, in fact, know how to stand up for herself. She has no problem defining her self worth if the boys go too far once she becomes better aquatinted with them. If I recall there’s even a dark route in one of the games where Yui plans her escape and strategically kills each of the brothers.

Honestly, I feel the Yui presented in the anime didn’t do her character justice at all. In the games she’s just as compassionate, but she’s humorous and sassy and quirky at times. There’s even one part in the games where she escapes a bite from Ayato at school by telling him there’s a hot girl with huge boobs in the hallway and while he turns around to look she makes a break for it.

On another note, with the recent games and drama cds that have come out recently I feel like we also need to remember who these boys are. They’re all bloodthirsty Do-S vampires and it’s likely that every one of them has killed at some point. Some people forget that Shu and Subaru (among other characters) are sadists too. People see a few unrealistic fan fictions and some out of character headcannons where they’re absolute cinnamon rolls and they forget how cruel they are at first. Of course I understand that they can be kind and they grow to love you eventually. They have their caring moments (like trying to save you in Bloody Bouquet) but we have to remember that they’re not naturally like this. I can guarantee you that none of them would act like that if they had just met you. It takes a lot of warming up to them and a lot of failed attempts to break through their walls.

And not to sound rude, but if you shit all over things like sadism and masochism and you say that the darker aspects of DL make you uncomfortable then I’m sorry, but why are you here??? It’s a game that almost solely revolves around that, so if you don’t enjoy it then please don’t partake in the fandom and don’t shit on the people who do enjoy it. Do what makes you happy and comfortable. If something makes you unhappy and uncomfortable then why do it?

Ok, rant over~! I feel I need to address that no offense was meant to anyone reading this. If I did offend you somehow I apologize, as it wasn’t my intention at all. I just felt the need to talk about these things! ^^

Kara x Mon-el S02 E16 Rant

Okay so this is gonna be my first rant ever, so bear with me. I’m gonna try to lay may thoughts in a logical way and try not to diverge much from the main point.

First of all, I’m extremely disappointed in the episode. I honestly had high hopes for it for some reason and they were completely shattered by the time I got to the end of it.

So this masterpiece of an episode starts out with the introduction of Mon-el’s parents that have come to earth in search for their son aka the prince of Daxam and, because Kara doesn’t know that mon-el is the prince, wants to fight them off for him because they might be dangerous. Mon-el, instead of owning up to it and finally telling Kara the truth, he lets Kara go fight his parents while he hides away at the DEO to then (when Kara comes back) say that he will go himself talk to the “people” (his parents) and Kara questions him as to how can he be sure they won’t hurt him and he pretends to act heroic saying the typical line of “I don’t, but they want me.” Just like a true hero would say right? Wrong. Because he knows damn well his people won’t touch the prince of Daxam.

Next, we have Kara finally learning that he is the prince of Daxam (shocker) and meet his parents, and she looks upset but it wasn’t the reaction, that at least, I, was expecting at this revelation. She didn’t snap, but she did look extremely hurt.

They all go on to have supper together and Mon-el’s parents start defending slavery and condemning Kara and mon-el for having freed a bunch of slaves (back in another episode). A conversation, btw, in which mon-el doesn’t even say a word to defend what he and Kara did.

Then we get to hear mon-el’s real story as to how he escaped Daxam, and it’s worse than you can imagine. He was in bed with a girl when it all started, his guard came in the room and urged him to leave the girl behind, which of course he did. People pleaded for his help on the streets, and he didn’t help ANYONE, remember, these are HIS people and yet he couldn’t find it in his heart to try and help anyone but himself. His guard literally shot a man in front of him (I didn’t see him do much to actually stop the guard), and then he jumped on the pod and flew away from his ending planet leaving EVERYONE behind.

I’m sorry, but everything about this story is disgusting and Kara deserves so much better than that honestly I can’t.

Then we get this shitty scene where Alex gives “advice” to Kara and we see Kara telling Alex about what’s going on, that mon-el took part in all the bad things happening at Daxam, lied to her about such a crucial thing in order to sleep with her (he fucking admitted it) and used those bad things to his personal gain, and then instead of Alex wanting what’s best for her sister and trying to protect her like it would be consistent with her character, because let’s be real, Alex Danvers would never, ever, approve of mon-el and she surely wouldn’t be pushing Kara to his arms after something this serious happened. So we get this extremely OOC Alex that literally goes: “relationships have their ups and downs Kara!” literally calling this massive betrayal of Kara’s trust a simple “down” like he forgot their one week anniversary or some shit and basically urging her to forgive him.

Can you spell disappointment?

Then we get Kara and mon-el talking and he confesses that he doesn’t know whether or not he would have told her about him being the prince of Daxam, which I mean, of course he would have never told her if it weren’t for his parents coming to earth. Let’s be real. Also the line “I love being a hero because it means that I get to spend every single day by your side” literally just shows that he is NOT selfless like subtract shagging Kara from the equation and he suddenly doesn’t give a shit about helping anyone but himself. Then he starts to try and manipulate Kara into forgiving him by dropping an “I love you” and by pretty much saying that he hopes that Kara can still sees the good in him and it’s just like no. Just no. It isn’t Kara’s job to see the good in him. And, repeat after me: It is NOT Kara’s job to make mon-el a better man. It just isn’t.

The only good thing I will have to point out about this episode though, is how Kara was the most in-character she has been in ages. She said to mon-el: “I deserve better than to be lied to.” and ended everything. So yeah, she was really the only one in the entire show facing this situation as it had to be faced and understanding the actual magnitude of it all.

Before finishing this off I would just like to point out that that “comparison” between Winn’s girlfriend, Lyra, who was literally forced to steal that painting or her brother would fucking die, and the actions of the prince of Daxam who owned slaves and was so selfish he couldn’t bring himself to raise an arm at his people, and was doing all of this with a clean conscience literally not giving a royal fuck about who suffered and who didn’t as long as he had some fun, was fucking bullshit. Like no. Lyra’s lie and Mon-el’s lie were completely different and incomparable. So, nice try, but no.

The episode closed with Mon-el’s parents wanting him to go back to Daxam and Kara literally telling him to go, only mon-el decided to stay saying he hated who he used to be to his parent’s face (Yeah big deal, Kara breaks up with him and know he hates his past self, fetch me some tissues please, cause I might cry) So he was back at the DEO.

Now, if mon-el is staying, that means that his character must still serve the story’s purpose somehow and we all know how, so I’m pretty sure that in upcoming episodes all will be forgotten and Kara will end up forgiving mon-el and guess what? they will probably be back together, so I wouldn’t hold to much hope on their “breakup”.

But, there is another option. And that is pretty much that the writers are saving him to kill him off, sacrificing himself for Kara, “redeeming” himself from his past mistakes. This, of course, would leave Kara heartbroken and she would probably find solace in Lena Luthor. I’m well aware of how biased I am, but it does make sense. How can this show get away with having its main character ending up with someone who used to OWN SLAVES? I don’t even know anymore tbh.

I’m finally done. Also, I hope that next week’s episode is better than this rubbish. Feel free to argue whether you disagree or not, and send me what you think of this rant or of the episode itself.

Some Kings Cage Analysis

I can’t put this under a cut because mobile but
!!!!!!!!SPOILERS FOR KINGS CAGE!!!!!!!!!

Honestly I know we’re all hurt and shocked by Cal’s choice at the end of King’s Cage but I think it was a good move on Victoria’s part. As much as I love and adore Marecal, Cal’s entire arc in KC was pretty Mare-centric. All his scenes were mainly focused on him saving Mare or being with Mare. Him taking the crown reminds the reader that he exists beyond Mare. He has other dreams and desires. Other motives besides the girl he loves.

Truthfully I can’t blame Cal for taking the crown. It says it right there in the book, Cal has been raised for the crown since birth. He couldn’t possibly just throw away everything he is and the person he has been made to be in 6(?) months. It was also clearly shown throughout the novel that he still cares about the silvers, he grew up with them. He feels connected to them in one way or another regardless of his alliances. He really only stayed with the guard because of Mare. Had it not been for her he probably would have left.

To the reader, Cal’s choice seems like a very cruel thing to do. This is because we have only read the scene from Mare’s perspective and she is hurting badly in the epilogue which puts a very different lens on the scene than if it had been shown from Cal’s POV. This skews the readers perception of the choice and makes it very one-sided which is exactly what Victoria wanted to happen. We all felt Mare’s pain when Cal made that choice which creates sympathy for Mare and apathy for Cal which will carry on into RQ4 until things resolve themselves.

In the end I’m glad this was how it happened because it opens up so many possibilities for plot advancement. It’s not just Maven vs. The Rift anymore, it’s Maven vs. Cal (and of course, the Scarlet Guard). At some point in RQ4, Maven and Cal are gonna have to face off and that’s gonna be very interesting for both of their characters. We know from KC that Cal still loves Maven, he longs for the little brother he once knew which I think will make him very hesitant to actually try and kill him or bring him down. It’s gonna cloud his judgement which could end up being his downfall.

Maven will also be very interesting to watch during this showdown in RQ4. We saw in KC that he has conflicting emotions about his family, that he knows he loved them but he no longer can. Elara’s manipulation is going to continue to factor heavily into Maven’s motivations (interesting how she’s still pulling the strings so long after her death).

Not to mention this new marriage arrangement will give us even more insight into Evangeline. She’s such an interesting character and we know she can be deadly but this is a scenario she can’t very well fight her way out of. I’m curious to see what she does to try and get back to Elane and her family. I think there’s a distinct possibility of her and Mare working together to try and take the crown from Cal. Neither of them want it.

All in all, while it hurt us dearly, I’m glad that Cal took the crown and did what he did. This is gonna make for one hell of a story in RQ4. I’m excited.

magnus bane, high warlock of brooklyn:

-ragnor fell. ‘my little dear cabbage’
-took in raphael when he turned ‘how you’re like a son to me’
-became simon’s sponsor ‘…if I ever found someone in a similar situation, I’d try to make sure they didn’t have to go at it alone’
-is literally saphael’s dad ‘anyone for a martini’
-created a fire-breathin snake for camille, cause extra. ‘my baby’
-portaled to freakin india to loot from his ex, cause he can. ‘of course i recognise it, it’s mine’
-talks about camille being his rock, saving his suicidal depressed self ‘she saved me’
-but acknowledges she’s manipulative and choose his adopted downworlder family instead ‘enjoy idris’
-loves clary like his own daughter: saved her mum, her adopted dad!luke, gave her a memory of his, and great advice ‘biscuit, i’m sorry’
-talked about how his mum took her own life with a keris because she couldn’t accept her own child ‘i was nine years old when my mother realised what my cat eyes meant’
-casually keeping the downworld safe ‘he knows he’s banned from north america, indefinitely’
-senses and is worried that isabelle’s in trouble ‘isabelle, i don’t need magic to know when i’m being lied to’
-is maia’s best tipper ‘never trust a stingy warlock’

please, don’t let me stop you. do add on.

so to all y’all yapping bout how magnus doesn’t have his own storyline/ his own agency. maybe you’re the one defining him by his relationship with alec, cause the showrunners sure ain’t.

ok but that line where tara goes “even when i’m at my worst, you always make me feel special. how do you do that?” and willow’s response is “magic” always devastates me so much because i know that tara’s going to look back on that and wonder if she can trust any of her time with willow. because the girl tara loved was soft and sweet and trustworthy and made tara feel like she could trust again, and if tara was so profoundly wrong about willow now, was she wrong about willow always??

which is why it always cuts me up inside to see willow manipulate tara’s mind because tara’s been messed with before. glory. tara’s probably got memories of confusion and fear and feeling lost and alone and willow was her comfort then, and now she’s finding out that the one person she thought was the first to understand her and the person she let herself be herself with is the person who’s betrayed her the most completely

katchyalater  asked:

I've been thinking a lot about your excellent meta about manipulation and wondering if Raven is playing with those same tools as she figures out what it means for her to be a leader. All the "deciding who lives and dies is your specialty" and "your dad would be so proud" stuff feels like low blows to me/more manipulative than persuasive? Idk. I'd be interested in your take on leader!Raven so far in s4 :)

Thanks for the compliment! Glad you enjoyed my meta on Clarke and manipulation.

I’m glad you asked about Raven! Her being integrated into the Leaders Who Have to Make Hard Decisions Squad was delightfully refreshing to watch as it presented Raven with some character beats and challenges that were categorically different from what she’s faced before.

As far as your question in particular: the quotes you mention are decidedly low blows lol. But I would disagree with you as to their intent. Raven, imo, is one of the least manipulative characters on the show, at least in the interpersonal sense - i.e. she doesn’t often use her knowledge of others’ feelings/weaknesses to influence them even if she can, because she’s an extremely straightforward person. Even in 2x08 when Raven “manipulates” Murphy into coming to the dropship so she can use him as bait, the “manipulation” occurs offscreen, and so we can assume that Raven basically just said, “Murphy we need you at the dropship.” That’s less manipulative and more like just a straight up lie. And even that kind of dishonesty is rare from Raven - she prefers the slap-you-in-the-face form of honest persuasion.

But Raven’s preference for honesty and straightforwardness is, I think, wonderfully complicated by the fact that Raven is fairly intuitive and empathetic when it comes to other’s feelings. I think she understands a lot about her friend’s feelings and weakness - more than her character normally lets on. The best proof of this is, of course, 3x11. In what I think is the most accurate reading of that episode, ALIE is using Raven’s personal knowledge of all her friend’s triggers and insecurities and weaknesses to pick them off one by one. As we know, ALIE herself doesn’t really understand human emotion, or love. It’s not /ALIE/ who knows how to wheedle Jasper, break Bellamy’s self-loathing exterior, or send Clarke into a frenzy. It’s /Raven/. It’s ALIE using Raven’s knowledge to an end that Raven herself never would.

I think the lines you mention in your question are another reflection of Raven having a well-honed sense of what she can say to hurt her friends in a particular situation. But these barbs she throws at Clarke are not /manipulative/. Instead of using her knowledge of people to manipulate them, like Clarke does, Raven uses it to hurt them when she is frustrated with them and lashing out. In 402 and 403, Raven throws pointed barbs at both Bellamy /and/ Clarke, about their ledership and their past mistakes, but they aren’t integrated with some manipulative attempt to sway them to her side. No, her arguments in favor of her plan for survival are extremely straightforward and evidence-based. These barbs about Clarke’s dad, or “living with [Bellamy’s] mistakes” are a reflection of Raven’s frustration with Bellamy and Clarke when they make what she sees as stupid or short-sighted decisions. Essentially, she’s just saying it to hurt them, and maybe to make them think a little bit about what they’re done.

To specifically address the line “deciding who lives and dies is your specialty,” I actually think this line is PROOF that Raven is not being manipulative towards Bellamy or Clarke. Raven says this to Clarke in the midst of a conversation where she is trying to convince Clarke to make the list. If Raven were trying to ~manipulate Clarke into making the list, she would have been wayyy less blunt and more coy, maybe saying something like “you can’t guarantee Bellamy is on the list if you haven’t made it,” or “if you don’t make this list, more people could die than have to,” or idk, something that is more of a shaded truth or a lie. As it is, Raven quite literally sees choosing who lives and dies as Clarke’s /job/, and in this scene she’s just reminding her of it - no matter how jarring it is. Tbh, Raven’s straightforwardness is kind of refreshing.

Anyway, this was kind of all over the place, but this is all to say that I really enjoy where they’ve taken Raven in s4 so far. Her brand of leadership was a really new form, very different from how we’ve seen Clarke and Bellamy lead on the ground and a needed counterpoint to their united front. I also love that, even as Raven judged Clarke and Bellamy’s decisions in 402 and previously, she got a taste of the human cost of those kind of decisions in 403. I have never been more engaged by Raven’s arc than I was when they began developing her as leader, showing her make impossible decisions, etc., because I think it opens up completely new ground for her that I want to see continue. She seems to be a bit back into “solving science problem for plot” mode in Becca’s lab, but I think the new wrinkle of her choosing to sacrifice her health in the hopes of using her superbrain to save her people is a great wrinkle to add to the arc that gives Raven a lot of agency, importance, and room for growth and heroism. So all in all, I’m all for Raven stepping up to complete the bravenlarke triumvirate of leadership, tbh!

a collection of flashbacks from magnus’s past that i need in 2b for reasons:

- his childhood, most specifically his mother’s passing (though we already know there’s a big chance we’re getting that), or just his parents, what their family was like before it all fell apart

- the very first time he met ragnor and/or catarina and how they became friends

- speaking of that, a scene with magnus, ragnor and/or catarina, together, from as far back in time as possible, just a casual interaction to show how their dynamic used to be (and also a great opportunity to see magnus in period clothing)

- a scene between magnus and a completely new character who was part of a really important moment in his life, preferably another downworlder

- when he found raphael and took him in, how he helped the lost boy with his transition and taught him that he could still keep his faith

- as unusual as it may sound, i would love to see a scene between magnus and camille from when they were still together and ‘happy’ (as happy as one can be with her), because i think it would be really interesting to explore that dynamic, since it’s had such a big impact on his development and the only one we’ve seen so far between them has been this very obvious power imbalance, camille being ruthless and visibly manipulative, and magnus looking constantly uncomfortable, little and hurt. i want to see if that has always been the case, magnus knowing how bad camille was for him, but choosing to stay with her because, as she said herself, he is afraid of losing the people he loves and she is one of the few who would actually be able to stick around for centuries. also, what his closest friends thought about their relationship and if they were blunt in their dislike of camille and her behaviour, or if they chose to let magnus handle himself

just getting to actually see bits of magnus’s past and not just learn about it from casual comments or little stories told for the sake of plot convenience

Matt Hastings said “maybe one of my favorite romantic scenes i’ve ever had the privilege of shooting”. This is so disgusting. I can’t believe the show i used to like so much is turning into shit. Im so disappointed, sad and angry. How can this be romantic? There’s no love here, Isabelle made Raphael addicted to her. She forced him to bite her even if he said “i cant do it” SHE !!!! ABUSED AND MANIPULATED !!!! HIM !!!!! to be honest, it’s like to see Simon & Camille again. And i can’t believe there are people out there who thinks that they’re cute together??? I’m just glad that Magnus called out their toxic relationship

Some thoughts on LUCIFER (FOX)

I saw someone hating on Lucifer the other day, saying that he doesn’t deserve Chloe and that she can do better. On some level I agree, Chloe does deserve better, but these two deeply flawed people fell in love with each other. Literally no one is perfect.

This person I mentioned earlier was pissed because of the way Lucifer abandons Chloe at the end of S2E13, and saying that they hope that Chloe never forgives him. Personally I think that leaving was possibly the worst mistake Lucifer could have made but you have to think about it from his perspective. The guy is literally the devil, doesn’t believe he is even worthy of Chloe and is ridiculously happy when he believes that Chloe legitimately loves him. And then to have that all crash down because of his mum and his father and their mind games with each other. This is the second time he’s been betrayed by his family. It’s not that he really expected anything from the especially after the first time, but it’s about how he thought he could finally be happy with Chloe, only to have that ripped about by a cruel god and a mother than claims to love him; but manipulated him for her own gain.

He’s hurt and he’s angry and he’s a very flawed character. Of course he makes bad decisions. Who doesn’t?

Seriously, I think Chloe makes him a better person and I hope that she can forgive him. Yet I know she’s probably feeling hurt herself, she’s just recently divorced, just recently let herself really open up to Lucifer and she got burned. I won’t be surprised if she goes back to dismissing him and being curt with him like she did after he stood her up; if not more. If she does I think that some people will be pissed about that too. I think it would drive Lucifer further away until they can both sit down and have a proper chat. (Couple’s therapy from Linda perhaps?)

But Seriously, they’re just people. It’s not their job to be perfect. Especially Lucifer and the man child he is; he’s still figuring out humanity and emotions like love, sympathy, and kindness. If he were perfect, he wouldn’t have gotten himself evicted from heaven in the first place.

i just remembered i really, really hate clarke griffin. i hate the show version of her, i hate the fanon version of her, i hate everything she stands for (other than her sexuality- she is good bi rep), i hate how the narrative frames her, i hate how it’s always at the expense of poc, i hate how she can do no wrong, i hate her white saviourism, i hate how she can get away with anything and harming anyone and still be seen as Good by everyone/forgiven by her people while poc who actually try to protect their ppl at their own risk are always seen as bad, i hate how she’s the Other and Special and everyone falls in love with her instantly, i hate how she’s supposed to be tortured and sad when unlike the others shes never been through physical trauma or torture, i hate how she treats raven, i despise how she treats bellamy and manipulates him and i hate that yall romanticize the fuck out that and of his loyalty and servitude/white princess brown knight trope, i hate that she has no real friendships or bonds with the hundred because the writers can’t write her character properly and yet she’s the queen of the delinquents and they all look up to her as wise and the final boss, i hate that she’s one of the most privileged people on the ark and her subsequent biases and crap is never addressed and always presented as a good quality.

i hate clarke griffin.

Imagine early mornings and Christmas decorating with Chris.

A/N: Part 3, woot! Links for the mini series will be added soon, there are two chapters to this series. (Baby Fever - Part 1/Part 2) and (Drunk Minds, Sober Hearts - Masterlist) Enjoy. :D

Dodger woke you up at 4:28AM because Phoebe was wide awake and Chris was fast asleep. You didn’t want to leave the comfort and warmth of your bed but you were a parent for the week and being a parent meant sacrifices; so you heard from your mom. Dodger jumped onto the bed and nudged you with his head, forcing you awake and out of bed. You sighed loudly; you were exhausted though you slept in your own bed at an appropriate time, you could only imagine how Chris was feeling.

You pulled your sweater over your head and slid your feet into your fluffy reindeer slippers before staggering down the hall to where your husband and niece were; Chris was curled up on the floor and Phoebe was in her cot, blabbering to herself. She saw you and smiled, holding up her arms as a gesture for you to pick her up. You smiled and let out a soft sigh, stepping around Chris to scoop her out of the cot and into your arms.

“At least one of us slept well.” You chuckled softly, tucking her soft locks behind her small ear. “I know you love Uncle Chris but I’m going to need you to sleep by yourself tonight. Do you think you can do that for me?” She giggled and cupped your face in her tiny hands. “I’m afraid that if you don’t-” you glanced down at Chris and chuckled softly. “Uncle Chris might change his mind about becoming a daddy and we don’t want that, do we?”

Phoebe didn’t know the words to tell you she understood but you knew she did, she was a lot smarter than people thought her to be. Look at how she emotionally manipulated Chris into keeping her company, and he wasn’t her only victim; her dad and her two grandfathers were constant victims. The men in her life were easy to trick, the women- not so much.

“Oh God,” you heard Chris groaned as he rolled onto his back. He looked up at you, wincing though there wasn’t any light. “What time is it?” He mumbled; his voice was laced with sleep. “Am I in Hell?” He asked and you chuckled, watching him hold his back as he sat up. “Why does everything hurt?”

“You slept on the floor, why doesn’t everything hurt?” You teased him, fighting the urge to smile. “I’m going to put you down, okay?” You told Phoebe and returned her to her cot; she laid back down and played with her own feet. “C'mon Cap,” you reached down to help him to his feet. “Let’s put you to bed.”

“Ugh,” he groaned, “what time is it?”

“Last I saw, it was four twenty-eight AM.” You told him and his face scrunched up. “Welcome to parenthood, sweetheart.” You teased, soothingly rubbing his back. “It’s okay, I can watch her while you catch up on some well-deserved sleep.”

“I’ll be fine,” he declined, “just get me some coffee.”

“It really wasn’t a suggestion.” You steered him towards the bedroom, drawing a soft chuckle from his throat; he was definitely grateful he had a wife as wonderful as you. “I know I’m not a child whisperer like you but I think I can survive a few hours with her.”

“I think you can do better than survive a few hours with her,” he smiled and kissed your cheek. “I just need a couple hours, I’ll be down as soon-” he yawned, “as possible. If you need anything-” he yawned again and you chuckled, “just come get me. I can-” another yawn, “always help.” He told you and you nodded, watching him climb into bed and curl up under the covers.

He was out in seconds.

“What do you think?” You asked Phoebe, taking a step back from your mantel masterpiece.

You had cleared one of the shelves in the living room and created a Christmas feature that filled the whole room with the holiday spirit. It had the white Christmas feeling that you were so fond of and you couldn’t wait till the first fall of snow came over Boston. Christmas was one of your favorite holidays, people who knew you well knew you loved it a little too much. Each year you’d buy more decorations, in fact- majority of the boxes in the garage were marked ‘Christmas’. Things got to a point where Chris had to limit you to five new items each year, not that he could resist your puppy dog eyes when you found the sixth something that you just had to have.

“I think you started without me,” you heard Chris’ voice and turned around, smiling. He was wearing his black and white plaid shirt. “How the hell did you do all that while suffering from sleep deprivation?” He leaned over and kissed the top of Phoebe’s head. “It’s nice though, I’m glad you convinced me to let you buy that snowman.”

“Me too.” You hugged him from behind and he smiled, pouring himself a cup of coffee. “How’d you sleep?” You mumbled into his shoulder blade. “You look a little less tired.” You commented and he chuckled, turning around to face you when you released him from your grip. “But you could definitely use a few more hours,” you brushed his beard with your thumb.

“Is that a nice way of saying I look like hell?”

“You couldn’t look like hell if you wanted to,” you told him and pecked his smiling lips. “Do you want some breakfast?” You asked and he shook his head, wiping the drip from the side of his mug and licking it off his finger. “Are you sure? I can make you something.”

“Coffee’s good for now,” he nodded. “So tell me, my beautiful elf.” He raised his eyebrows with a playful smirk, making you laugh which drew a giggle from Phoebe. “What else is there to do to turn this normal everyday home into Santa’s Workshop?”

“We still haven’t put up the tree.” You reminded him and he dramatically gasped because it was unusual for you; you’d usually put it up at the start of December. “Okay, cut that out.” You fought the urge to start laughing when he did. “I’ve been busy with work and my husband doesn’t have the initiative to do things himself.”

“Excuse you,” he scoffed and chuckled simultaneously. “My initiative to do things has been ruined by you,” he said and you laughed because you knew exactly what he was talking about. “Do you remember the first Christmas we had together as a married couple? You were out of town for work and I thought I’d surprise you by decorating-”

“You don’t have to finish the story ‘cause we both know what happened and I don’t need a reminder of how bitchy I was,” you told him with a roll of your eyes.

“And you said I did it wrong and did it all again yourself,” he ignored you and finished the story anyway. You winced and he chuckled, grabbing your cheeks and squeezing your face. “But it’s alright, I knew you were a raging perfectionist before I married you.”

“And yet you still married me,” you teased him.

“What can I say?” He shrugged nonchalantly with a small smirk on his lips. “I’m a sucker for the crazies,” he winked with a click of his tongue. You laughed and playfully shoved him, causing him to lose his grip on your face. “Are we going to decorate this tree or what?” He asked, laughing. “Christmas is like- eight days away.”

“Trust me, I know.” You pointed at the countdown calendar on the fridge; Chris bit back his smile and shook his head. “Yes,” you nodded, rubbing your hands together. “Let’s get down to business. The tree’s in the backyard, I’m glad we got that sorted otherwise we would’ve been stuck with a stinky faux one.”

“For a person who hates bugs, I thought you wouldn’t mind a stinky faux one.”

“Not for the most wonderful time of the year,” you shook your head with a wide grin.

Phoebe clapped her hands together, giggling excitedly and drawing the attention of you and Chris. Chris put his mug down on the table and picked Phoebe up, bouncing her with a wide smile on his face. “Are you a Christmas nut like your aunt?” He chuckled when he saw you roll your eyes. “It’s okay if you are, just be cute with your crazy and you’ll have any guy fall at your feet. Look at your aunt, she’s insane and she got me didn’t she?”

“You’re lucky I don’t swear around children,” you told him and he laughed. “Just go get the tree, you jerk.” You tossed a plush Olaf ornament at him and he swiftly caught it, laughing even harder than before; Phoebe grabbed it from him as he lowered her back into her high chair.

“You know I love you,” he smiled.

“You’re lucky I love you,” you teased, pulling away before he could peck you on the cheek. He smiled one of his heart fluttering smiles and nodded in agreement; you melted on the inside and met his lips for a tender kiss. You were definitely lucky to be married to him, and eventually the mother of his children.

Super Stupid Weeb daydream

god stupidest daydream that just had me laughing like hell, cause it was a situation where adriens super weeb powers saved the day. A huuuge anime fan got akumaized because like, it was a pretty genuine reason she was so angry that people where making fun of her and telling her that attachments to fictional characters were meaningless and there were no lessons to be learned from cartoons or anime or any kind of animated materiel and she just wanted to show that they had depth and mattered to people cause sometimes cartoons and anime help people deal with stuff.

i digress

so, surprise surprise, she uses famous attacks from various animes and uses anime/cartoon characters as her lackeys. imagine the heroes surprise when they show up at the scene to a very strangely dressed akuma and then like out of nowhere she’s like “my friends will teach you a lesson” and freaking like Goku pops the fuck out of nowhere and adrien is like “what thE FUCK OH MY GOD” and has to dodge this super OP attack. and as hes running hes like “NO FUCKING WAY THIS IS HAPPENING RIGHT NOW”

he is simultaneously extremely entertained and scared as hell cause each character seems to be true to form, so like they are just as strong but also COMPLETELY in character. So as him and ladybug are running like hell he is trying to remember every anime he’s ever watched and figure a way out of it. he’s shouting shit like “thats saitama DONT LET HIM HIT YOU. THROW SOME FUCKING COUPONS AT HIM, THROW GOOD COUPONS TO DISTRACT HIM AND RUN” Their plan is mostly freaking run because crazy ass attacks are wrecking everything and if they get hit they are screwed. Luckily the akuma is mostly summoning good guys, since as a fan thats who she favors and they arent hurting civilians and in some cases actually save civilians from falling buildings and stuff. in one fantastic encounter LB and cat noir get separated and Cat gets backed into a corner when he hears “now I’ve got a fire in my belly!” and he goes freaking pale cause fuck he can NOT beat Natsu Dragneel in a straight fight he had a stick FML, but he loves Fairy Tail, he knows loads of shit about Fairytail and he can see Lucy trailing along behind him so he’s like “if they really are in character maybe i can fix this shit” and starts talking to them

“I’m not the bad guy!” he begs, “and i dont think that girl is either she doesnt want to do this shes being controlled by an enemy named Hawkmoth, he is manipulating her and her emotions thats how he hurts people! He waits until they are suffering and in pain them offers them a twisted messed up deal so he can use them like puppets! Thats WRONG and I know you agree with me!” he looks past Natsu to Lucy, “manipulating people is wrong, hurting people is wrong, and summoning people with real genuine emotions and using them to potentially hurt thousands of people in the crossfire of a gigantic battle no one wanted to have is WRONG”

he plays straight to their characters and they both look angry. Natsu looks at him and says “All those people, while they were running away. They were calling out to you right?”

he nods

“You’re their hero, and if an entire city like this trusts a kid like you then im thinking maybe you’re not the bad guy” Natsu grins, “so if you’re not the guy I should be hitting then who are we going for?”

and just like that Adrien starts making allies through the power of weeb knowledge and he gets to live out an absolute fan boy dream as he fights alongside all of his favorite freaking heroes to win the day and save the city
