I finished the spicy cologne few days back and the story is still very much with me. I really enjoyed the fic and the characterization of both Harry and Louis. I loved everything about their relationship. I loved the fact that it doesn't have any -

- Explicit sexual scene and it is mostly around the respect n love for each other. I promise a tear actually rolled down my eyes when i read the epilogue. The ending literally gave me hope that good things come your way.

ohhhhhh my gosh, this looks so good!

small things in gotg2 that i utterly loved (huge spoilers)
  • “No! It’s too adorable to kill!”
  • The Sovereign being a send-up of aspects of gamer culture
  • Gamora telling Mantis she’s not ugly (and clearly meaning it)
  • “I DON’T KNOW WHAT CHEERS IS.”
  • That ridiculous thing Ayesha was walking on so her feet didn’t have the indignity of touching the ground
  • “I will help them by killing Thanos”
  • Actually everything involving Nebula, tbh
  • (She has agency and empathy and a sister now)
  • “That’s a desk.”
  • The bizarre almost-beauty of the arrow massacre sequence
  • The Chain (the song that plays as Peter regains control of his ‘heart’) sounding like it could almost be Meredith condemning her ex-lover from beyond the grave “damn your love, damn your lies" as her son avenges her
  • Drax holding Mantis up as the ground starts eating him, desperate to give her a chance to live
  • absolutely everyone getting both Cool Scenes and Heartwarming Scenes
  • “What’s so wrong with that?”
  • the bit where Groot gives Yondu a sad little wave, and Yondu waves back
  • Peter closing his eyes and accepting his fate as the planet explodes around him
  • Gamora tending to the unconscious Mantis
  • Yondu holding Peter’s face as he dies and staring at him so he can be the last thing he sees
  • lots of big, important themes: slavery, child abuse, eugenics, parenthood, all dealt with well, albeit sometimes subtly
  • god it’s a good film

  • I was SO HAPPY to see so much interactions between Sun and Wolfgang happened in this season – I loved this pair since Christmas special when they had this whole “if you need help” “I’m fine. If you need some air” “I’m good” then * both smirk * scene
  • There are so many things Sun and Wolfgang share in common
  • Both are the quiet ones in the cluster; they are badasses; and THEY DESERVE PEACE & HAPPINESS – and LOVE!
  • They might be strong on the outside, but they have soft heart inside; and that sometimes make these two people blame themselves for what they’ve done
  • Their mothers loved them; their fathers…one was abusive and the other was ignorant; and their other family members (like Steiner and Joong Ki) just couldn’t leave them in peace
  • One thing they don’t share in common, other than their fighting style, is that when Sun needs help, she asks for help. Whereas Wolfgang would NEVER, EVER ask for help – even when he’s being captured and tortured by Whispers
  • I really hope that in the end, both Sun and Wolfgang find their own peace (except rest-in-peace bullshit, I won’t allow it)

2x02 Who Am I?

– I like that when they’re visiting each other, neither of them says ‘hi’ or ‘what’s up?’ Instead they just simply have a short eye contact and that’s it. The zoo scene sums up Sun and Wolfgang’s relationship. And we love this quiet-yet-we-know-each-other-by-just-looking-at-one’s-eyes. PERFECTION

– Not just from this scene, but most conversations between Sun and Wolfgang are short, very straightforward & concise…and that’s what makes their dynamic so real and sincere because we know both characters share a deep connection through their unspoken pain

2x03 Obligate Mutualisms

@thelovelylights

– OK, I love Sun just the way she is. But I absolutely love her when she embodies Wolfang. Two words; and her level of being badass just exploded there. Hats off to Doona’s perfect portrayal of Wolfgang/Max

2x07 I Have No Room In My Heart For Hate

@princessamericachavez

– In graveyard scene, everyone from the cluster talks to her from their heart…from their experience. What differentiates Wolfgang from rest of them is he’s the only one who says ‘the world would be better without’ people like Joong Ki and Wolfgang’s father. Revenge is a double-edged sword. It’s bittersweet. And Wolfgang has already had a taste of revenge..several times. However, I don’t think sweetness of revenge or his skepticism about justice are entire reasons why he says it. I think it’s because deep down he knows Sun is stronger than she thinks; strong enough to not only make Joong Ki pay for her father’s death but also take in the bitterness of revenge

2x07 I Have No Room In My Heart For Hate & 2x09 What Family Actually Means

@litoshernandos

@superdamnvers

– This is not an interaction between them, but I really wanted to go over this little parallel scenes. Another thing I love about Sun and Wolfgang is they don’t use their strengths to bully someone or to just show off. They use them to protect their loved ones when they are treated like shit by shitty people not nicely

2x11 You Want A War?

@nestarearland

– I know I didn’t include “I would” in Gala scene. Doesn’t mean I don’t like it; it’s just kinda goes along with what I’ve written in graveyard scene. I didn’t want to be redundant. But yeah, I liked that scene too: Wolfgang in gangsta mode walking by Sun’s side while others are trying to stop her XD

– But back to the point, I personally like this scene more simply because I love when Wolfgang shows his gentle and caring side of him towards his cluster. Like when he cared for Will [x]. Also, we don’t really get to see Sun being afraid a lot (I mean of course, she’s a warrior), so it was kinda good to see her being weak and vulnerable for a moment but then quickly regaining her calmness after her cluster reassures she’s going to be fine. It shows how much Sun trusts her cluster; and how much her cluster cares for her (PLATONIC LOVE RIGHT HERE PEOPLE!)

I would say most interactions between Wolfgang and Sun happened during ‘sharing’ – resulting great action sequences, which also proves (again) that these two are not talkers; they’re fighters. Maybe that’s why they make an awesome pair!

Olivia Puckett as Zoe Murphy

Here, I’m gonna analyze and describe Olivia Puckett’s performance as Zoe Murphy, and the ways in which it differed from Laura Dreyfuss’s. Enjoy!

First of all, Olivia Puckett is a blessing to us all. I love her so much (have you seen her Instagram stories?!) you all have no idea. She was so sweet, so good.

I’ll start from the beginning. Instantly, right as she entered during “Anybody Have a Map” her differences with Laura Dreyfuss were evident. She slouched in her chair, her foot giggling under the table. Also, with Connor, her dialogue was lighter, in a way. She delivered the “He’s definitely high” line almost jokingly, like she was just this younger sister poking fun at her brother. It wasn’t disapproving and harsh the way Laura’s delivery felt.

Even while they were exchanging “Fuck you’s!” they seemed more like siblings messing around than two extremely damaged teenagers taking out their anger on each other. It honestly felt like a normal sibling relationship. She wasn’t even yelling, and neither was Mike Faist. It wasn’t mean or anything. It was. Good.

Even when she marched off the stage, proclaiming that she’d leave without Connor if he doesn’t spead up, I felt as though she wouldn’t leave without him. Like that was yet another joke. No big deal. Like she’d wait in the driveway for him to come, and maybe give him a bit of a hard time about it all later, but that they’d laugh about it next week or something.

Then, she met Evan. She rushed over to him in the middle of WTAW, and he instantly recoiled, his shoulders turning inwards, his eyes on the ground, his hands twitching. She seemed genuinely concerned. Her voice was low, and she seemed to purposefully stay away from him, almost fearful of scaring him, while simultaneously wanting to be closer.

When she called Connor “a psychopath,” it sounded like she was angry with Connor for pushing Evan, who obviously didn’t deserve anything, but wasn’t disgusted or hateful. She didn’t sound like she hated Connor. Or even really disliked him. Just has a stereotypical teenage sibling relationship that’s a bit edgy.

When she walked away– “Okay…Jose…” –she turned around and looked back at Evan before leaving, almost fondly. It almost gave me the impression that this crush was requited, and perhaps had been for some time. That Evan’s love for Zoe wasn’t one-sided, that Zoe didn’t grow into liking Evan throughout the musical, but actually, in fact, liked him before it even began.

She entered, again, before “For Forever” and I could see a physical change that occurred in her during the 10 minutes or so she was off-stage. I could almost see her lose Connor, in that entrance. As she noticed Evan’s presence, she didn’t ask “Why is he here” like “Why is this weird kid in our house” but more like “Why is Evan, who I talked to in the hallway a few days ago, here?

Throughout the dinner before “For Forever,” she did this leg jiggle again. Which was. So fascinating. She had these particular ticks, ones which almost mirrored Evan’s. They seemed like two pieces of the same pie, in their own peculiar way. Simply, if Olivia Puckett announces one day that Zoe Murphy has a minor anxiety disorder, I would believe her in a heartbeat.

When she retorted about good times with Connor, saying that “There were no good times!” she didn’t sound like a possibly abused sibling. She sounded almost angry with herself, as though she was wondering why she didn’t notice something was wrong with Connor, as though she wished she’d tried harder. She didn’t sound like someone who was wronged and was furious, she sounded like someone who was remembering her entire childhood and trying to pinpoint where everything went wrong.

Laura’s Zoe seemed like a young person who suddenly lost control over seemingly everything in her life, someone who was almost drowning. Olivia’s Zoe seemed like a young person who had just temporarily misplaced control, someone who was floating just above the water’s surface.

During “Requiem,” Olivia cried, actually cried, which is something Laura definitely did not do.

The whole “You were not the monster that I knew” thing was much less believable. But the “You’ve given me my brother back. Thank you.” thing at the end of “You Will Be Found” was so. much. more. believable.

I really felt for Olivia’s Zoe. “Requiem” was when I started crying fully during this performance, rather than during “You Will Be Found” (which normally what gets me). I felt her loss so deeply and profoundly, like she was taking the whole audience on this journey with her.

She truly seemed to mourn Connor, to have loved her brother. She seemed so devastated during “If I Could Tell Her” that she never got to tell Connor what she thought.

It was just a different kind of loss.

As well, her relationship with Evan was so vastly different. She seemed to be more interested in him specifically and less interested in his connection with her brother. At the end of “You Will Be Found” when she kissed Evan the second time, she kept a hand on his when he pulled away. When he kissed her back, she wrapped her arms around him and like hug-kissed him. In the boot, with Laura Dreyfuss, Evan leaned Zoe into her back on the bed.

The opposite happened here, with Zoe really taking control of their kissing, pushing Evan into the bed.

Also, during “Only Us” she put a hand on either side of Evan’s face and held him so softly when she sang “We can’t compete with all that” rather than motioning with one hand (see: Laura and Ben’s performance of “Only Us” on Seth Meyers). There was a part where she sat on Evan’s bed and Evan kneeled before her, and she held both of his hands between hers.

They held hands whenever they were together after that, honestly. During “Only Us,” Zoe normally kisses Evan once, at the very end of the song. Here, Olivia kissed Ben three (3) times. Twice while singing and once at the end of the song.

I cannot over-exaggerate the softness in her eyes when she looked at him. In all honestly, y’all, I felt myself really loving their relationship, which isn’t something I did beforehand.

With Laura’s Zoe, I never would recommend Zoe and Evan being together for their own health. With Olivia’s Zoe, if they had met under different circumstances, if Evan hadn’t lied, I firmly believe that they could’ve had a healthy and happy relationship.

And the kegger skit!!! OMG!! She did the same dorky voice that Evan did with “til your mom gets home” when she said “in three hours!!” and they laughed. They laughed a lot.

It was so interesting to see almost Ben’s reactions as an actor to what Olivia was giving him. This was only the second time they’d ever done the show together in those characters, and it must’ve been so unusual to what he had been doing for the past hundred or so performances.

Zoe was so sweet? And? So strong? And never once mean to Evan? With Olivia, the whole “you don’t have to keep saying sorry….I was a little impressed, you ruined it” thing wasn’t as weird? It didn’t feel uncomfortable. It felt like: Zoe liked soft Evan, who apologizes all the time, she just wanted him to be comfortable enough around her to not feel like he had to apologize, rather than wanting him to change.

She felt like a young girl, who had suffered an immense loss, who was coping as best as she possibly could. She wasn’t some semi-popular girl who Evan liked purely because he thought she was hot (neither, of course, is Laura’s Zoe, or any form of Zoe, in fact). She was a multi-dimensional person who existed in her own right outside of anyone else. There was no room to see her as anyone else.

When she found out about Evan’s lie, it was almost more devastating.

I would have believed her if she had said she loved Evan.

Laura’s Zoe was angry and possibly depressed. She was desperate to grab a hold onto anything in her life, her life which was quickly spiraling out of control before her eyes. There, Evan seemed like the perfect person to grab onto, someone that was malleable and almost willing to be controlled.

Olivia’s Zoe felt in-control, like she knew what she was doing and knew where she would be in ten years, she just wasn’t there quite yet.

She obviously loved Connor and was mourning his death, but there didn’t seem to be as much guilt involved.

In her final scene, where she met Evan at the orchard, she, like Evan, seemed to have also gone through a metamorphosis. She seemed to have grown so much, and she held her head higher, too, just like Evan. To me, Zoe is a lead character, sharing the female lead title with Heidi Hansen, rather than a supporting character.

I love Laura Dreyfuss with my entire heart and soul, and her Zoe was a very particular character as well. It’s hard to pinpoint the exact differences between her Zoe and Olivia’s Zoe, because they are both truly incredible. Both woman are powerhouses of whom I will forever be in awe. Both portrayals make Zoe a fascinating, dynamic, complex, female character, one that is much, much more than a love interest or plot point. She, in some aspects, feels like the beating heart of the show. It’s hard to put my connection with her into words.

Again, like I said with Michael Lee Brown’s Jared vs. Will Roland’s Jared, neither performance was better. Both are heart-wrenching and powerful and conveyed a message to the audience, reached out and grabbed our hearts in their hands. Both are incredible. Just very, very different.

Essentially, Olivia Puckett’s performance was incredible. Unbelievable actually. Any desire to not want to see the understudies is pointless and wrong, let me tell you. This entire cast and entire crew are the most talented people I’ve ever seen.

fics are my absolute favorite type of fanwork, and i’ve been meaning to compile a list of my favorite macdennis fics for a while now. i recently hit 1000 followers here (which is absolutely wild, thank you so, so much ♥ ), so i figured this was as good a time as any to do this. here are some of my favorite macdennis fics, in no particular order. if you read any of these, this is an open invitation to come cry with me over how freakin good these are:

The Inevitable by runningwafers (explicit, 11k words) | Mac is in a lot of denial. This is a story about what happens when he finally snaps. [This one is an absolute treasure. Everyone is written impeccably in-character and there are parts that genuinely made me laugh out loud. The ending is near and dear to my heart.]

each the other’s world entire by quixoti (explicit, 13k words) | Mac and Dennis survive each other. Mac and Dennis will always survive each other. [This one follows Mac and Dennis from high school onwards, and it’s heart-achingly good. The references to direct scenes from the show are so spot on.]

we sinners bend by infinitevariety (explicit, 64k words) | Mac and Dennis have been sleeping on Dee’s floor for months. Something’s got to give. [A long one but a damn good one. Also, it’s a classic, so go read it now.]

Mac and Dennis Conduct an Experiment by pavonine (explicit, 36k words) | Dennis convinces Mac that the only surefire way to prove his straightness is to sexually experiment with another man. Of course that man happens to be Dennis. Of course Mac buys into this as a reasonable plan of action. Of course it backfires on them both. [Another classic. There’s so much to love about this one, but I’m especially fond of the dialogue.]

you’re the one i wanna watch this ship go down with by lagaudiere (mature, 4k words) | Not dying on a Christian cruise ship sometimes means having to face hard truths about yourself. Mac’s never been very good at that. [Good cavity-inducing fluff, complete with a great dancing scene.]

thick thighs make a dick rise by reflektions (explicit, 6k words) | In which Dennis does drag for the first time and Mac’s dick has an existential crisis. [DENNIS DOES DRAG. I don’t need to say anything more.]

the spell that you’ve created by peskyfeelings (mature, 7k words) | Mac is in bed but he can’t find sleep, because Dennis Reynolds lit a match and it’s still burning him up. [Internally tortured Mac and manipulative Dennis strike again, but this is a fresh and well-written take on it.]

the day you move (i’m probably gonna explode) by sinnabar (explicit, 7k words) | He could maybe get addicted to this, if he let himself. Or: five times Mac and Dennis toed the line between friends and lovers, and one time they crossed it for good. [A good old 5+1.]

remember the things that make you feel by blackmountainbones (explicit, 9k words) | AU: Dennis Reynolds is a heroin addicted prostitute and Mac is one of his johns. [AKA the AU that tore my goddamn heart into a million pieces. This one will ruin your life, but you should read it anyway.]

Mac’s Day Out by adrianicsea (gen, 1k words) |  With $14 to his name after paying arbitration fees, Mac celebrates his first full day out of the closet. [This one’s not macdennis, but it’s short and sweet. I wanted to include an s12 fic on this list, and this one’s my favorite.]

Okay I don’t know if I’m the only one but! It looked to be like they wanted to fix whole season 3 in one episode and… I loved it?

  • Clarke thanked both Bellamy and Raven in this episode, it’s like all we have been talking about whole season 3.
  • Clarke saw Kabby being close and you could see she was happy they’re happy.
  • Bellamy is still pissed about Gina, they didn’t forget it which means a lot &he hates Echo so much I’m living.
  • Bellarke were all the time co-leaders, Clarke didn’t make decisions alone, was looking to Bellamy to answers too all the time.
  • The scene between Kane and Bellamy - Kane knows Bellamy is blaming himself after everything.
  • Bonus: while everyone is calling Clarke wanheda, Bellamy calls her princess.

A Richonne Ranking: 40 Moments
[33] Days – Say Yes, 7x12

This exchange is a sweet, quiet moment that shouldn’t be forgotten in the midst of this episode’s many generous gifts. It builds on an idea that is central to the Richonne narrative: days. “One more day”, “A day and a half more”, “A couple more days”, “A few more days.” It’s a major Richonne buzzword that we see repeated with almost the same frequency as their catchphrase du jour, “We’re the ones who live.” Notable examples are in the kitchen scene in Claimed as Michonne talks Rick into having a day off, Michonne’s monologue in What Happened and What’s Going On, and multiple times in Say Yes as Rick pushes to prolong the honeymoon.

Much like “We’re the ones who live”, it’s the promise of hope – a future. It’s effectively an emotional doggy treat, and Michonne has her man well trained. You can see the transformation in his body language; look at the difference in his facial expression in the first and last gifs in this set. Just when he’s all stressed over Jadis’ demands, the ever-soothing voice of Michonne is there to remind him that he gets a little longer in his peaceful limbo. That’s enough. For now, that’s enough.

  • Andy: The whole of [Say Yes], really, is them both trying to hold on to this magic moment they’re sharing. “Not now. Let’s not allow the spell to be broken. I want to stay in this perfect state with you as long as I possibly can.” The interesting thing with Michonne is she’s the one who brought him back. This is an exploration of who Rick is and what she can do for him and he for her.

have you heard the rumours about my rapping?
i have, actually!
come at me with a beat.
okay, yeah.

what if yousef refuses to go to elias’ house and that just drives him mad and confronts him and that’s when yousef confesses his feelings and the messages and just everything and elias tries to calm him down bc even if it’s his little sister they’re talking about, yousef is his best friend and he’ll be there for him no matter what. and honestly he is the best brother too bc he goes and sits sana down and convinces her to open up to him and just listens and listens and listens to everything she says and after she’s done he just hugs her and tells her that he’ll always be there for her, always.

I love this scene for a number of reasons.

1) they look so peaceful while they are sleeping

2) Zoro chose to place his swords on the only available couch which “forced” them both to sleep on the floor.

3) Sanji is actually laying on Zoro’s shoulder

4) Zoro isn’t bothered by this?? I mean he is always quick to wake up when people so much as stand in front of him yet he stays asleep while Sanji has his head on his shoulder.

5) Zoro had to fall asleep first and Sanji chose to lay on him?? Or at least close enough to him that he would end up with his head on Zoro’s shoulder.

dedicated to @miabicicletta & @nyah86. I admire you both so very much. This is my way of thanking you for the Sherlolly delights you always provide us with :D

Please, if you like it, take the time to like and/or comment on the Youtube Page of the video. You would make my day. This is what my little editor’s heart feeds on. Give it love. It gives love back :D

But back to the matter at hand.

I’m a wreck. TFP killed me with feels. I AM NOW DEADED.

The video is simplistic. This is THE SCENE (subtly shortened) and interspersed with significant moments to explain how it would always come to this. I am not very clear, am I? Ugh. This is why I edit. It’s easier than writing.

Basically, I tried to illustrate that, yes, obviously, Molly always has been the outrageously overlooked pressure point that would ultimately turn Sherlock into an agonising mess. I kind of knew there would be something of that nature coming our way but, DAMN. I didn’t think the writers would be so in sync with my thoughts on the matter. Why am I even surprised? They wrote the whole thing after all. Come on, Mathilde.

The sound is decent but I would advise headphones and HD to maximise the experience. I hope you will enjoy it.

Took me ages to finish it, but actually didn’t take any time at all. I knew where I wanted to go but Premiere turned out to be EXTREMELY uncooperative. Every time I would add something on the timeline or make a change, it would take one or two minutes to load so I could have a look. ===> #nightmare. This is the last time I’m using 1080p files. Good quality, yes. But GOD at what cost. If anyone has any advice on the matter, please, feel free to get in touch. I’m presumably not doing it right :D

UPDATE: Thanks to @theleftpill, the problem is officially resolved. Thank you so very very much. You saved my sanity.

Hurray for Craig Armstrong. One of my favourite film score composers. I’ve used two of his creations. One from Moulin Rouge! and the other from The Great Gatsby. Both beautiful. Moulin Rouge! is my favourite film, as a matter of fact. An actual slap in the face when I was twelve. And I cry at the end. Every time. Not kidding.

Music:

Death Scene - Moulin Rouge!
Gatsby’s Death and Portico - The Great Gatsby

Oh, dear. The music from the two death scenes of each movie. I am a cheerful person aren’t I?

Disclaimers: I don’t own the songs or the clips used in this video. This is purely a work of fiction, no profit gained.
