i listen to this at least once a day

"crazy detention stories"...go

They’re really not that crazy I don’t think but fine- but as I had detention at least once a week for 3 years you’re only getting the highlights here:

  • So again, I only ever got detentions because I was late to school basically every day. Every single day, the office wrote me a late slip with my name spelled horrendously wrong. Different spelling every day. The most famous butchering was writing my name as “Millie Hoagie”. On my very last day of high school, I was predictably late, and they spelled my name perfectly correctly.
  • So listen my ‘reputation’ in school was basically “quiet good girl who’s never done anything wrong, ever, in her life” and “teacher’s pet” and the like. And despite the fact I was there every time all the ‘Bad Kids™’ who were also always in detention were always incredibly surprised to see me??? Like they never got over it. Every time I walked into the damn room at least half the class would be like “MOLLY YOU DON’T BELONG HERE YOU’RE INNOCENT!!” 😂
  • Also despite the fact I was basically invisible in the school as a whole all the trouble makers knew me by name because, and I quote a kid from my 10th grade Spanish class who was trying to hook up with me at the time here, “Guys like me are afraid of you, Girl, we’re just plain out scared that we gonna corrupt you!” and I still don’t know what he actually meant by that???
  • Bu anyway, this apparent rep usually gave me an upper hand with the teachers monitoring the detentions. Because, you know, some were fine, some were bitchy, some were insane. But all of them were pissed about the fact they had to be there instead of heading home.
  • The rules of detention were literally just ‘stare at the wall and don’t talk’, depending on which teacher they might let the students do homework. But since I was apparently a great person and always had the class’ incredulous response to me being in the room, they usually let me get away with sleeping or reading a book lol.
  • Of course…no one said any of the other kids were inclined to following the rules lmao. These were like, all the class clowns™ shoved into one room. Things always got real funny real fast.
  • It would always start off with the coughing game. If you’ve ever stepped into a school you should know what that is.
  • It would then escalate to everyone in the room playing catch whenever the teacher looked away for a brief moment
  • Detention was always in the health classroom so someone always tried to steal a limb off the skeleton without being to obvious
  • Some teachers would let people talk ‘quietly’ so jokes were fucking abound
  • One time I was minding my own damn business and a kid slides me a note saying ‘in like five minutes ask to go to the bathroom but head downstairs to the English wing’ before he snuck out without the teacher noticing. I get down there and he’s at one end of the hallway and another boy is at the other end. Upon seeing me, these boys run full speed down the hall at each other, leap up in the air when they get to the direct center, high five with full force, both scream in pain, and then hit the floor, clutching their hands. I was cracking the fuck up and trying to convince them to go to the nurse but they wouldn’t listen. I asked the guy why the hell they did that. He told me ‘because we wanted a witness and no one will ever believe you’ 😂😂
  • One time my sorta-neighbor Mike comes in and the teacher asked why he had detention and apparently, the principal had asked him where to find his friend Jose, and Mike responded “he’s out picking cotton” and the principal flipped out at what he perceived to be a racist joke and gave him a month detention. But the thing was, Jose was in an agriculture class and he was literally outside picking cotton that they had planted there earlier. Jose found it fucking hilarious and refused to tell the principal to get his friend out of trouble.
  • As I haven’t been inside a school building for quite some time now I don’t know if turtling is still a thing but it was…quite an epidemic for my senior class.
  • It’s when you turn someone’s backpack inside out right? But it was a full blown war with these kids. Trust no one. Never leave the room. Never look away. Holy shit. One of the best moments of this occurred in detention, when a boy reached to get a book out of his backpack to find it was gone. After 15 minutes of searching the room, he found it, turtled, hidden in a filing cabinet in the front of the room. Everyone, including the teacher, was loosing their shit, because how did someone pull that off so quietly and invisibly without someone noticing??? No one fessed up. The class was in fear of the turtle ninja for the rest of the month, but they never struck again. No one ever discovered who it was.
  • Guys: It was me.
  • One time it was raining and the teacher was in a bad mood so he insisted all the windows stay open. He left for a bathroom break or something and this one poor kid, who was now completely soaked as he was stuck with a window seat, just said “fucking bye” and just…climbed out the damn window. Left his backpack and everything. Didn’t see him again for at least a month.
  • There was one guy who always sold ice cream out of his bag when the teachers weren’t looking. Where he was getting it from and how it stayed frozen is beyond me.
  • Oh my God sometimes all the indie singer kids would just come and sit on the floor outside the classroom and talk loudly to annoy us??? The hell were they trying to accomplish??? Your singing ain’t special and you won’t be famous, please let us die in peace.
  • One kid had detention because when we were running laps in gym class he jumped up to hit the arch of the ceiling and accidentally set off the fire alarm. The teacher that day insisted on continuously referring to him as ‘the delinquent’, as if no one else in the room had broken the rules or something
  • One time one of the gym teachers was in charge of it and long story short he started doing the jersey turnpike. True horror.
  • One time the teacher got a call and she had to go down to the office and the second she was gone this one kid’s friend runs in with a huge tray going “Y’ALL I STOLE THE LASAGNE CUPCAKES FROM THE FOOD AND NUTRITION CLASSROOM” and we dined like kings.
  • Everyone would sometimes just break out in song for no God damn reason
  • One time one of the guys in charge of the detention was A) Not someone anyone recognized as a teacher and B) Potentially Stanley Tucci. Like…I was about 80% certain that this guy was Stanley Tucci.
  • He refused to confirm or deny or even give a name
  • One time I was really absorbed in my book when all the sudden a letter flew onto my desk, an anonymous sender that just said “You have a soft, sexy voice.” Neither of which is true, I’m pretty sure, and I could not for the life of me figure out who sent it omfg
  • One time a teacher was freaking out because he went to a psychic over the weekend and was told there was a lot of activity around him so I looked him straight in the eyes and told him I’m a medium and I can see that the devil had marked his soul and he threw me out of the room and refused to take that class for detention ever again😂
  • It was a hot summers day. The ceiling fans were on their highest setting. A boy nudges me, with a small carton of ice cream in his hands under his desk. “What do you think would happen if I scooped out a huge chunk of this and threw it at the fan?” he whispered. “Jamil, no.” I pleaded, but it fell on deaf ears. Soon, the room was filled with confused screams.
  • Apparently all the other regulars™ had bought me candy grams around Christmas time so they were confused when I showed up to detention with no candy and apparently the student council member sent them all to the other Molly in the grade because she was the popular one and this lead to about 12 boys grumbling for two and a half hours like “The one damn time I attempt to be a gentleman” and “I know where she lives” and “Gonna gingerbread her fucking locker” I could not stop laughing
  • Oh God okay one time the teacher we had was literally. Off the charts.
  • Like there’s the chill teachers, and then the bitchy teachers. And then this lady. She literally reminded me of Stubel
  • So I didn’t even know who she was but I walk in and do my shy smile/quiet ‘hello’ thing and take out my book so she immediately zeros in on me as ‘the good kid’ as usual
  • But she literally seemed to think every other person in this class was a hardened criminal holy shit. She was all over the place barking orders and yelling. And of course, you’ve got a room full of class clowns, like they feed off teachers like this. So the madder she got the more ridiculous they got. I was literally almost in tears trying to force myself not to laugh because I didn’t want to risk her turning on me omfg
  • So she yelled and flailed about the room and they kept going with jokes and paper wasps and lying about their names and just doing literally every thing they could possibly do so this woman wouldn’t have the chance to rest
  • This escalated with every minute and came to a resounding end when the teacher decided the Australian Kid™ was chewing gum and picked up the trashcan and shoved his face in it, screaming at him to spit it out as he yelled back “YOU’RE ONLY DOING THIS BECAUSE IM AN IMMIGRANT
  • he was in charge of all the bullshit that day and it was hysterical but he wasn’t the one chewing gum loudly that was me
  • The vp came in to see what all the yelling was about to find a teacher shoving a boy’s head in the trash, one boy shirtless as another drew tattoos on him, the phone off the line with it’s cord wrapped around a kid’s neck, two boys dueling with skeleton arms, one kid with her leg out the window, a kid tying a skeleton foot to the ceiling fan, rubber bands and paper wasps flying from every angle, three people turtling backpacks, someone brandishing an epi-pen, sexual hangman being played on the chalkboard, someone eating ice cream and fanning himself with money, and me, crying into my book with my hand literally bleeding from all my efforts to not laugh at what I was witnessing
  • We never saw her in detention again😂
  • My one younger friend got a detention for being late and was really shaken up about it and I tried to tell her she’d be fine but then she got caught sliding me chocolate animal crackers during it, and subsequently got another detention because of this; somehow I was not viewed as an equally guilty party and didn’t get in trouble
  • This one guy came in complaining “You guys all told me to get a twitter and I get thrown in twitter jail my first day!” “That’s like a thousand tweets in one day, how the fuck did you mange that?” “Bitch I had a lot to say about McDonalds!”
  • One teacher came in and was like “I don’t feel like helping with homework but does anyone wanna learn how to hack a computer?”
  • Someone got caught pouring water out the window but when the teacher looked to see why she saw the youngest of the goats™ standing under the window with it’s mouth open waiting for more
  • One time the teacher wouldn’t let me go to the bathroom and after I asked for like the 5th time he said “It can’t be that important!” so I just pulled a pad out of my backpack and silently sat it on my desk while glaring at him and this 40 year old man looked like he was about to pass out and he finally let me go
  • I remember our final detention of senior year we were told that if we skip it we can’t graduate so everyone went into that room with a ridiculously nostalgic attitude and one guy finally stole the skull off the skeleton and we fucking tossed it around the entire time while singing and blatantly ignoring the teacher’s complaining lmao
  • I know there’s more but it’s 7am and this is long so all in all like…I do not miss high school but some memories are bearable lmao

Beginner Witchery

Disclaimer: Witchcraft is NOT a religion! It is a practice, or skill. Anyone of ANY religion can be a witch!

There are a few steps to becoming a witch, and the first is taking an interest, which you obviously have and its led you to my post. Many things lead people to magic! Maybe you’ve always felt a strong connection with Mother Earth and her lovely inhabitants, or maybe your friend is a witch and recently has been open about it with you. The second step is exploring the craft, Reading witchy books and blogs, and gathering information. The final steps are to start calling yourself a witch and start practicing witchcraft. Those steps are interchangeable, it doesn’t matter what comes first.

When it comes to learning more about witchcraft, a lot of baby witches ask me the million dollar question… “What do I study first?”

Theres no exact order you need to follow. I’d advise you to be respectful to magick, to the elements and to mother earth. Start being more aware of all she gives us, if you aren’t already.

Here are some things you can do/look into to get yourself started:

  1. Witchblr. DON’T UNDERESTIMATE WITCHBLR. There is so much information on witchblr, its really amazing.
  2. History of witchcraft. Studying the roots of the craft is so interesting to do! Its really cool to hear the origins of everything we do.
  3. Crystals. Crystals are my FAVORITE, my collection is always growing and i pick specific ones to carry based on what i need the day of.
  4. Divination Methods. There are several ways to divine, and its really nice to get some insight from your spirit guide/the universe. Studying the origins of these methods is also really interesting.
  5. Herbs. Herbs are awesome and you can use them for everything, be it magick or mundane. They are great for using in spell jars, teas, baths and etc.
  6. Dreams. Study what they mean, why they’re important and how you can benefit from listening in to the deeper messages they hold.
  7. Keep a dream journal! Start recording everything you can remember as soon as you wake up.
  8. Grounding. I think everyone should ground themselves at least once a day, it makes you feel so balanced.
  9. Celestial Bodies. Each planet has a different energy, and you can use these energies potentially.
  10. THE MOON. The moon has so much energy its so powerful and i love feeling it shine on my skin. Its phases have significant effects on us and on our spellwork.
  11. The elements. Each element brings a different energy, and when you cast circles you typically call on each element. its nice to know about these energies and find which ones you click with the most.
  12. Altar Tools.
  13. Deities. Study the different pantheons, see if one appeals to you. if not, its ok, not everyone works with them.
  14. Meditate. Get in tune with yourself. Thats the best thing you can do while on this spiritual journey.
  15. Sigils.
  16. Talismans.
  17. Different Alphabets
  18. Types of spells
  19. Types of magick
  20. Famous witches.

A few more tips from me:

  • Keep journals. yes. plural. one for dreams, one for your general day to day feelings and to record your growth spiritually, one for the crystals and herbs you collect (or one for each), one for your studies. You CANNOT record too much! Take notes on everything.
  • never do anything you don’t feel comfortable with.
  • Never rush ahead of yourself. Take your time with learning about the craft, you will thank yourself in the future.
  • Use what you have! You don’t need supplies to be a witch or have a successful spell. Its all mental and about your flow of energy. you just need YOU.
  • your craft is your own, do not feel pressured to be more like witches you admire, do whatever feels right to you.
  • unless you follow a specific tradition, there are no rules in witchcraft. There is a lot more freedom in witchcraft than you may realize.
  • DOn’t ever shame other witches. Best example: Some witches curse, some don’t.
  • i know i said this earlier, but be respectful. always remember to thank mother earth for everything she supplies us with.
  • Always say goodbye to any entities you call into your circle.
  • NEVER be scared of spirits. they are all around us, all the time, they only make themselves known sometimes. fear can feed them and help them grow in strength.
  • don’t worry about a title, you don’t need to scramble to find our what kind of witch you are. you will just know eventually based on what you do most in your practice, it will take some time.

MY ASKS ARE OPEN, IF YOU HAVE ANY QUESTIONS, ASK AND I WILL ANSWER WITHIN 2-4 DAYS. you can also send me a message.

Please add to this so any baby witches can see what you have to say and be informed!! You can also submit a post to my blog.

I will add to this post in the future, i hope it was helpful.

Blessed be!

Dear Evan Hansen, today is going to be a good day. And here’s why : because today- today, at least, you’re you. And… that’s enough.

The Get Down meme[2/10] scenes
↳ “Um… I wrote a speech. But who’s got time for all that, right? So, I’m gonna just riff this. The super cool Persian poet Rumi once wrote: “Where there’s ruin, there’s hope for a treasure.” Now, the other day, I was up on 183rd, and this rich lady called it “taki”, man. But I talked to my man Tracy from 168th and he said: “Listen for the voice of the ghetto. ‘Cause it crashes down on you when you least expect it.””

lassitudeian  asked:

I too am procrastinating!! I'd really like to see Dex and Nursey sharing Lardo's room, Dex becoming more comfortable with himself and Nursey, and realizing that the team has his back

hooray for procrastination! okay room sharing, lets bullet point this shit (also i kind of stuck to the prompt but the main focus is on room sharing and being comfortable with each other and less on everyone having each others’ backs, sorry it kind of ran away from me)

  • to start, dex gets the top bunk and nursey gets the bottom obvs bc honestly can you imagine nursey successfully climbing up to the top without falling off the ladder at least once a week?
  • music is a big point of contention for the first month
    • dex blasts dad rock whenever he’s coding and nursey listens to his indie shit so loudly that even when he’s using headphones dex can hear it from the top bunk
    • they reach a weird understanding one day when nursey puts a playlist on shuffle and they end up both singing along to the middle by jimmy eat world and they discover they both  are still in  went through a punk rock/pop phase (yes i have been reading @heyfightme‘s punk au)
    • from there on they reach a pretty easy agreement that when they’re both in the room and neither are studying, it’s tb punk from the 2005 era or anything they’ve recently discovered
    • (for the sake of avoiding arguments)
    • (also because both love watching the other get lost in the music as they scream the lyrics)
    • (please take a moment to imagine two 6′2″ hockey players yell the words to i don’t wanna be an asshole anymore by the menzingers to each other as they jump up and down in the middle of their bedroom at 4pm)
  • it takes a while to get a bathroom routine down bc nursey has A Lot of skincare products and he likes to bathe william, not all of us are neanderthals that enjoy feeling crusty

the rest is under the cut bc i got carried away

I Got You On My Mind [Part 5]

Jungkook Soulmate AU (Angst)

[Part One] | Previous Part | Part Five | Next Part

Summary: You and Jungkook plan another date after exchanging numbers. Since you’re under house arrest, Jungkook decides to spend the evening at your place. And things seem to go perfectly–until they don’t.

Word count: 2.1k words

After you hobbled home from the music building, your body was exhausted. But you were still thrumming with excitement, clutching your cell phone tightly in your hand. You had finally gotten Jungkook’s phone number, and he finally had yours.

With great difficulty, you managed to pry off your shoe and make it to your bedroom. After carefully setting your crutches aside, you fell back onto your bed. Holding your phone above your face, you couldn’t help the huge smile that spread across your lips.

You opened your contacts, pulling up Jungkook’s profile. He had snapped a silly selfie when he put his number into your phone, and you stared dazedly at your soulmate’s photograph, feeling more fond than you thought was appropriate.

Hesitantly, you composed a new text message. You began to type a quick greeting, but it seemed too formal, so you erased it. “Hey soulmate,” you tried, then immediately cringed. Backspacing quickly, you stared at the blank text. Maybe it would be best to wait for Jungkook to text first.

Letting your arm–and your phone–fall to the bed, you stared up at the plain ceiling and tried to remember Jungkook before the car accident. After racking your brain relentlessly, you were left with a headache and no answers.

That only made you more curious–what was your first encounter with Jungkook really like? He seemed to like you enough now, so surely it must’ve gone well.

With thoughts of Jungkook on your mind, you slowly drifted to sleep, the world around you fading to black.

You woke with a start, your eyes shooting open. Beside your ear, your phone was vibrating loudly. Exhaling shakily, you placed your hand over your racing heart. Eventually, you picked up your phone from beside you, checking the lock screen for notifications.

When you saw what had set off the alert, you nearly dropped your phone.

Jungkook had texted you. Excitedly, you unlocked your phone and opened your messaging app.

RECEIVED 1:43 PM
Hey Y/N 💩

You laughed at Jungkook’s poop emoji and quickly composed a response.

SENT 1:44 PM
Hey 🍪

RECEIVED 1:45 PM

SENT 1:45 PM
It’s u

SENT 1:45 PM
Kookie

You blushed, wondering if the nickname was a bit too much. Suddenly, your phone buzzed, but this time, it was a text from Jieun. Confused, you opened the new chat.

RECEIVED 1:47 PM
Are u talking to Jungkook? He’s sitting a row in front of me. He’s staring @ his phone and MAD blushing

Laughing, you felt your embarrassment fade away. You quickly replied to Jieun with an affirmative and closed the chat. Returning to your conversation with Jungkook, you saw that he had already responded.

RECEIVED 1:47 PM
…cute

RECEIVED 1:48 PM
So I was wondering if you wanted to hang out sometime. Haven’t seen you in while

SENT 1:49 PM
Like a date? Or are we aiming for platonic soulmates?

Another alert from Jieun appeared on your screen, and you cackled as you went to check her update on Jungkook.

Jieun wtf

You squirmed around on your bed, feeling happier than you had since you left the hospital. The smile on your face seemed permanent, and you grabbed your pillow and squealed into it. Still, it was kind of depressing that texting your two friends could make you so excited.

Grabbing your phone again, you checked to see if Jungkook had summoned enough courage to respond. He had.

JIEUN!!!! JUNGKOOK IS COMING OVER FOR A DATE TONIGHT!! PLS HELP ME CLEAN THE APARTMENT AND MYSELF

When Jieun had come home, she frantically shoved the mess in the living room into her own bedroom while you limped around the house, dusting things. It was the most you had ever cleaned since you had moved in together, which was saying a lot.

Then, she had helped you into the shower, making sure you stayed upright as you bathed yourself. Your friendship with Jieun was a true one–both of you had long graduated any feelings of embarrassment around each other.

By the time everything was said and done, it was almost time for Jungkook to arrive. Jieun helped you onto the couch, setting your crutches against the wall beside you.

“I’m going to go to Lisa’s place for awhile,” Jieun said as she flopped onto the couch beside you. “Just call me when you’re ready for me to come home.”

“You don’t have to leave, you know,” you frowned, turning to look at your friend. Jieun just rolled her eyes at you. “I’m serious! I don’t mind.”

“Yeah, but I’m sure Jungkook would,” Jieun snorted. “I’ll let you soulmates do your thing. Just…be careful, okay? Don’t jump headfirst into something you’re not ready for.”

“I’m not going to sleep with him,” you replied, a little incredulously. Jieun winced at that. “We’re just going to watch a movie and talk, I guess.”

“That’s not what I meant,” Jieun said, standing up. She walked over to the foyer and grabbed a jacket from the closet. “Don’t let yourself get swept away by the emotions of the moment.”

“Wow, you’re pretty insightful today,” you commented, trying to lighten the mood. “You should write this shit down.”

“Oh, fuck you,” Jieun laughed. She slipped into her coat. “I’m going to head out now. Call me later, okay?”

On cue, there was a knock at the door. Jieun shot you a serious look before she turned to open the door, but you couldn’t read it. Then, she swung the door open, revealing a slightly nervous Jungkook, still dressed in all black.

Jungkook glanced down at Jieun, who said something quietly to him. From where you were sitting, you couldn’t hear, but you just hoped Jieun wasn’t threatening him. Jungkook frowned and said something back, and then the two brushed passed each other.

Jieun left, shutting the door behind her quietly. When you turned your gaze back to Jungkook, he was smiling lopsidedly at you.

“Hey Y/N,” he said, holding up a plastic bag in his hand. “I brought some Chinese. Hope that’s okay.”

“If I had any doubts that we were soulmates before, I’m completely certain now,” you replied, eyeing the bag hungrily as the scent of Chinese food wafted around the apartment. “You know the way to a girl’s heart.”

“Didn’t think it would be that easy,” Jungkook laughed, stepping out of his shoes and making his way towards you. He set the food onto the coffee table in front of the couch and sat down beside you. “So, what’s the plan?”

“Eating,” you replied immediately, still staring at the takeout. Jungkook laughed again, and when you glanced at him, his eyes were crinkled into crescents. If your heart clenched at that, no one needed to know.

“There was a really good movie I watched recently,” Jungkook said, unpacking the food that he had brought. He popped open the lids, revealing black bean noodles, sweet and sour chicken, and broccoli and beef. You could feel your mouth watering.

“I’m down for anything,” you replied, picking up your laptop from the coffee table. You turned on the screen and opened up your browser. “What’s it called?”

“The Girl Who Leapt Through Time,” Jungkook replied, breaking apart a pair of chopsticks. “Classic.”

“Seriously?” you asked, turning to gawk at him. “Are you a closet weab? How come you never told me before?”

“It’s embarrassing,” Jungkook said, blushing slightly. “I mean…do I look like I watch anime?”

“That’s true,” you agreed, reaching to grab your own set of chopsticks. You split them easily, resisting the urge to rub them together because you had heard it was a rude gesture. “Still, who am I to judge?”

“So you’ve seen the movie already,” Jungkook surmised, popping a piece of beef into his mouth. “I have a billion other suggestions.”

“I haven’t watched Your Name yet,” you commented, fishing out a piece of broccoli. “I heard it was really good.”

“Yeah, I loved it!” Jungkook exclaimed through a mouthful of noodles. “I’ll watch it again, I don’t care.”

And so you pulled up the movie on your laptop, streaming it to the TV in front of you. You and Jungkook ate quickly as the movie played before you. Paying more attention to the food, you startled when Jungkook began quietly singing the opening song along with the movie.

Discreetly, you glanced at Jungkook as he sang. His voice was beautiful, to say the least. He sang effortlessly and melodiously, his clear voice floating around the room. Eventually, the opening ended, and he nonchalantly returned to eating.

“Your voice is beautiful,” you remarked softly, still awed by Jungkook’s performance. He turned to you, his cheeks full of food, and blushed slightly.

“Oh, thank you,” he managed, voice muffled by his full mouth. He chewed with some difficulty, and once he swallowed, he spoke again. “Well, I am a music major.”

“Still,” you sighed reverently. “Some people are just born with nice voices. Damn, I could listen to you sing all day.”

Jungkook’s cheeks darkened, and he coughed awkwardly and turned back to face the movie. “I wouldn’t mind singing for you again,” he said quietly after a few moments. “You know, if you want.”

“Yeah, I’d love that,” you replied honestly. You and Jungkook turned your attention back to the movie with small smiles.

After the movie ended, you and Jungkook just talked for a few hours. You reminisced about the old memories you shared together, and you learned a few new things about each other, too. Like Jungkook was a good artist, and you could play more instruments than he could.

Eventually, you and Jungkook both realized it was time for you to part. It was getting late, but neither of you wanted to say goodbye.

“I should really go now,” Jungkook said again, although he made no attempt to move. “Like, I really should.”

“No one’s stopping you,” you replied, quirking an eyebrow. Jungkook pouted at you–a habit of his you weren’t sure if you’d ever get used to, since it seemed so out of character.

“Rude,” Jungkook said, actually standing up this time. He extended his arms and helped you to your feet, reaching around you to pass you your crutches. “But I guess I do need to leave. Jieun’s waiting to come back, isn’t she?”

“Yeah,” you confirmed. “I’ll walk you to the door, since that’s as far as I’m allowed to go.”

You and Jungkook made your way to the foyer, and he began to put on his shoes. The sight evoked a strange sense of deja vu, but you shrugged it away.

“Tonight was really fun,” you said, and Jungkook smiled up at you from where he was kneeling. Once ha had finished tying his Timberlands, he stood back up.

“I thought so, too,” Jungkook agreed. “I wouldn’t mind doing something like this again.”

“Maybe we could actually go out somewhere if my house arrest is lifted,” you laughed.

“I’m fine anywhere, as long as I’m with you,” Jungkook said shyly. And it was so cheesy, but you couldn’t help but blush. When your eyes met Jungkook’s, his were serious. “Is it okay if I kiss you?”

“Y-yeah,” you stammered, shocked at Jungkook’s request.

His hands came up to gently cup your face, and he stared intently down at you. Slowly, he moved forward, and your eyes fluttered shut. His soft lips pressed gently against yours, where he lingered for a moment. Then, Jungkook pulled away. When you opened your eyes, Jungkook was grinning at you.

“I’ll see you later,” Jungkook said softly, turning towards the door.

“Bye,” you said, your voice nearing a whisper. But Jungkook heard, and turned back to smile at you one last time. Then, he turned the doorknob and slipped out of the apartment, closing the door shut firmly behind him. Again, you were struck by a strong feeling of deja vu.

Then you realized–it was because you had seen this all before.

Jungkook in your apartment, standing in the foyer, putting his shoes on. Jungkook looking at you, a very different expression on his face. Jungkook, your soulmate, turning away from you and slamming the door as he left, his cruel parting words echoing loudly in your mind.

You remembered.

And suddenly, for the first time in weeks, you heard the whispers of Jungkook’s thoughts in the back of your mind. Quieter than before, but present nonetheless. Focusing, you were able to make out your soulmate’s voice.

“Fuck. I really, really, really like her.”

Tears began to pool in your eyes. You weren’t sure what to believe.

PSA: IT IS UP TO YOU TO DECIDE IF YOU WOULD FORGIVE THE BOYS OR NOT!

JIN

Once Jin arrived home from a frustrating studio day full of being unable to correctly get a dance move down, his smile didn’t return like it typically did at the sight of you. You carried your usual grin, expecting to see your chipper boyfriend. Once he walked through the front door, you knew something was bothering him. Standing up to greet Jin, he turned to you and let out all of the emotions he held in during practice. He exploded in the moment, and it left you speechless, having never seen Jin so upset.

“I don’t want to talk to you! I want to go sleep; can’t you see that?! Will you just leave me alone!”

A few hours after the words escaped his lips, you were asleep on the couch with tear-stained cheeks. He hobbled out of your shared room wrapped in a blanket, sniffling as he regretted every word he had said. Once he saw you lying uncomfortably on your sofa, he sat down on the floor next to you and gently shook your arm. There he explained that he didn’t mean to be so harsh, and that he would make it up to you.

“I’m sorry jagiya; I went too far and you didn’t deserve that. Will you forgive me?”

YOONGI ( SUGA )

Yoongi would have spent thirteen hours staring at his computer screen, headphones on, and completely blocking the world out. You would have spent the entire day with some close friends, which happened to be of the opposite gender. Yoongi wouldn’t have known, even if you did tell him; he was too busy working. You would have been more considerate of his feelings, if he hadn’t ignored you the past few days. You understood that he worked hard and you loved him for that, but he wouldn’t even say thank you whenever you handed him food.

“Where have you been?! I was worried sick; you wouldn’t answer your phone! You could have told me where you had gone, or at least inform me that you were running around with Y/F/N!”

Once you explained that you had told him, and that he just wasn’t listening, his face fell. He realized that he hadn’t been paying you any attention, and that today was your only day off work until next week. He remembered you had said a few days ago that you had wanted to spend it with him, and he felt his stomach twisting from the feeling of guilt. You closed your mouth, not having anything else to say; you knew he had realized what he needed to know.

“Y/N, I’m so sorry. I didn’t think that the days were passing by as swiftly as they are.”

HOSEOK ( JHOPE )

— It had been a long day for the both of you. First, you had been told by your boss that your paycheck included less than usual, and Hoseok had realized a few songs he had thought he saved on the computer, didn’t. Secondly, your boss insulted you for messing up on a few graphs, and Hoseok was yelled at by Yoongi for being so clumsy. The third thing that had occurred was just affecting you: Hoseok had abruptly cancelled your dinner plans, with no explanation, when you were already done preparing. Overall, you and Hobi’s days were both an utter disaster.

“Y/N! Can’t you see that I can’t spend every living second with you?! Why can’t you just stop being so clingy!”

Hoseok didn’t mean the words he expressed, and he didn’t know how they would impact you. After everything that had happened, you found yourself silently sobbing in your shared room. Hobi was in the kitchen, trying to find something to eat although there was nothing, and that was the exact reason why you had a date planned. It didn’t take him long for the guilt to settle in, and soon your hiccuped sobs couldn’t be contained in the four walls. He felt his heart ache.

“Y/N, baby, I didn’t mean that. You know I’ve been stressed all day, and I know you have too. I’m sorry that I took my anger out on you.”

NAMJOON ( RAP MONSTER )

Due to you both having busy schedules, nights declared for being movie dates were special. You had only been able to see Namjoon late at night, being that one of you was always staying late to work. Sitting at your cluttered desk at work, you felt overwhelmed, and the one thing that could take your stress away was a movie night with Joon. Glancing at the clock on your computer, you realized it was time to head home. Meanwhile, Namjoon was sitting on the couch in your house, sleeping soundly. Once you startled him as you walked through the door, his cranky self was revealed.

“Baby! Can’t you walk in a little quieter?! I was sleeping and you know how hard that is to come by!”

You couldn’t help but smile at his messy hair and tired expression, although you could see how frustrated he was. Once he saw a grin forming on your face, his expression softened. You were the only person who could change his mood in seconds, and it was one of those moments. Namjoon chuckled lightly, realizing how messy his hair was, and how stupid he was acting.

“Sorry about that; will my cuddles make it up to you?”

JIMIN

You would be ecstatic to see Jimin after having had a great day at school. You passed you exams with the highest grades in your class, and your plans with friends had been cancelled. You wanted to tell Jimin everything, loving how he listened to every word that ever left your lips. It was what had made you fall for him in the beginning of your relationship, and still it was something you admired. You had prepared dinner for the two of you, believing he would be extremely grateful. Your mood would change drastically once the front door slammed closed.

“I’m going to shower; I can’t get the choreography right, and I don’t want to watch you in awe as you get it in seconds!”

You let out a sigh as you grabbed a serving of the dinner you had prepared for you and Jimin. Sitting down at the table, the running water created by the shower filled your ears. You didn’t want to bother Jimin, being that he clearly did not want to see you. You felt bad for the way he exclaimed about how he was unable to get a choreography, but you knew he wouldn’t stay mad and frustrated forever. Meanwhile, Jimin was lying his forehead against the shower wall, wondering if you disliked if for barging in and yelling at you about his problems.

“Baby? You don’t hate me, do you?”

TAEHYUNG ( V )

Tae would have been in one of his many mood swings, and Jimin would have texted you already, warning you about his attitude. You wouldn’t think too much about it, until Taehyung walked into the dorms where you stood with Jin preparing dinner for everyone. He had his arms crossed over his chest like a child, not even uncrossing them as he slid off his shoes. You glanced towards Jin, who was trying to back his laughter. Taehyung saw the two of you, and he immediately appeared as if he had smoke flying from his ears.

“Can you not hog my girlfriend/boyfriend, hyung! Y/N, can you not spend more time with me instead of Jin?! I would prefer you to see me – your boyfriend – instead of my best friend!”

Tae stormed into his room, and the rest of the boys walked over and sat down. They all appeared more exhausted than usual, and you knew that the cause was Taehyung. You didn’t take Tae’s words with a grain of salt, knowing that his mood swing would pass and he soon would realize that you did ask him if he wanted to spend the day together. Yoongi laid his head on the counter as he groaned, and you heard Tae’s bedroom door opening already.

“Y/N! I’m sorry; I just remembered you asked me about today and if I wanted to spend it with you. You then told me you were going to hang out with Jin and cook a few things for the boys and I. I’m sorry, baby.”

JEONGGUK

You had just woken up, and you were already wishing that Jungkook was there to help you stay warm in the cold atmosphere. You knew he was in the living room, hearing the loud noises being produced by one of his many video games. He couldn’t sleep last night, and instead of lying with you, he got up and went to go play. You didn’t mind, being that you were very tired and delirious. You did, however, mind that he was still playing games early in the morning. Once you opened the door to your room and expressed that to him, he turned to you with fury in his eyes.

“I’m sorry that you’re so clingy and you constantly need me by you! I couldn’t sleep, and I can’t help that! I’m still not tired, and I’ll sleep once I feel like I need to! You don’t have to constantly worry about me!”

You then retreated back into your room, continuing to get ready for your day of classes. Jungkook was only angry from the competition in the game, and you knew that. You tried to not think about his words too much, but still they bothered you. Jungkook, in the other room, had just won the round for the first time since he had began playing. He turned to the door, expecting to see you there to congratulate him, but instead he saw that it was closed. A frown formed on his face as he rushed into your room.

“I’m sorry jagi; I was frustrated. I didn’t mean to say what I did. I love you, and I love everything you do!”

Bucky stomps his way to the kitchen, grabbing a bottle of water from the refrigerator, he takes a sip, silently fuming.  He perches himself on a stool and leans down to rest his head on his crossed arms in front of him.  He wasn’t sure what this feeling was that had settled in his gut.  He thought he loved Jeanette, he was going to marry her, so of course he had to have some feelings for her.  But Y/n…it hits him all at once, the memories triggering moments and feelings he had never felt with anyone, not even Jeanette.

Everything about you made him happy.  From the way you spoke to him, to the way you made him laugh, even when you were mad at him, you still had a way of making him feel…something.  That something he now knew was love.  Why had he wasted so much time?  You had been right, men really were dumber than women.

He couldn’t remember anyone he was closer with except Steve.  Steve knew everything about him, the good, the bad, the ugly.   He literally had no secrets from Steve, they both knew each other too well.   You were the only person who came close to knowing him as well as Steve did.  Is that why he had never noticed?  Did he not want to lose you, like he had almost lost Steve?  Looking back over your entire relationship, he saw now what Jeanette and everyone else had seen.  How could he have been so blind?  He loved you, not Jeanette.

The sound of high heels on the tile floor of the kitchen has Bucky raising his head, Jeanette came to a stop beside him, placing her arm around his shoulders.  “Where have you been baby?  I wanted to go over some stuff for the wedding.”

‘Baby’ the name has Bucky grimacing, the whine of Jeanette’s voice suddenly unbearably annoying to him.  Jeanette sits on a stool opposite Bucky on the other side of the counter.  She looks at him with an expectant smile which Bucky does not return.  “Why didn’t you tell me you thought Y/n had feelings for me?”

Summary: Professor Killian Jones’ history lecture gets a surprise visitor. (NOT StudentxProfessor)

Everybody taking one of Professor Killian Jones’ lectures knew Mrs. Jones.  Or, if they didn’t know she was actually his wife, they knew the blonde woman who he called “Swan” and who occasionally snuck into the room and made their professor’s always excited grin grow even wider.

She first appeared in the middle of his Ancient, Medieval, and Renaissance Political Theory lecture about three lectures into the class.  About one-third of the female population was drooling over the handsome professor with the accent talking about the Spartan system of government when the blonde woman slid into the room and sat in the chair behind his desk as he lectured in front of the projector.

The students who first noticed her assumed she was an older student who was either playing a prank or trying to catch the eye of Professor Jones by doing something bold. However, when the man caught sight of her, he merely smiled and asked, “Well, Swan, since you seem so eager to learn, can you tell me who first imposed this code of laws on Sparta?”

She frowned thoughtfully and responded, “Lucretius?”

He chuckled. “Lycurgus, love.  But I can tell you’re listening.”  He leaned down and pressed a kiss to the top of her head before turning back to his class.  “Let’s go ahead and take our break now.  Five minutes and be back here.”

Fandom: The Chronicles of Narnia

Word count: 1982

Characters: Edmund x reader, Caspian, Peter, Lucy, Susan

Warnings: both Edmund and Caspian being slightly douchey

Summary: You and Edmund make Caspian jealous, which makes Edmund possessive.

This meeting was dragging on forever.

It had been a while since you’d lost interest in it. Now your attention was on the way the trees outside the window turned the light a pretty shade of green, and cast dappled shadows on the floor.

Edmund couldn’t look at you, or he knew he would burst out laughing. It wasn’t his fault. Peter was just taking this meeting so seriously, and there you were paying no attention whatsoever. Your little faraway smile was so pretty, too. Plus, thinking about you was so much more interesting than thinking about whatever Peter was droning on about.

Still, at least he was kind of paying attention to Peter. So when the High King asked you a question and you didn’t respond, Edmund managed to kick you under the table and alert you.

Princess of Themyscira: Part 3

AN: I re-wrote this twice. I love how it turned out though.

Words: 1564

Part One, Part Two

Your entire body aches, but you can’t find any anger for the feeling. It’s a good sort of pain, the kind that says your body has been worked and your muscles have been stretched. You might even go as far as to say it’s a good feeling.

There’s just one little problem, there’s a mound of bodies lying on top of you, and sand sticking to your skin. An early morning training session had very quickly turned into an all day hunting game with you as the prey. The sheer fact that you had managed to evade this particular group of Amazons for hours on end was impressive and you knew it.

Artemis, Io, Calyce, Hellene, and Euboea knew you better than almost anyone you’d ever met. The only exception would have had to have been your parents, and perhaps Alfred. This group of women had become your closest friends, they were your sisters; and the fact that they had done their very best to keep you distracted today meant the world to you.

Eventually, the hurt turned to actual pain and you were forced to crawl out of the dog pile. Once you were free, you stood and turned to face your friends. They were just as dirty and sweaty as you were, and you were all covered in sand.

But your heart is light and free, and that’s something to be said, especially on today of all days. “Well that was fun.”

Artemis grins at you, “This is just the start, little sister! We still have the entire night!” You glance back at the others, at Io, Calyce, Hellene, and Euboea. They’re all smiling, but you can see the sadness there, hidden under their smiles.

You take a deep breath and glance up at the sky, at the sunset, “Hard to believe it’s already been three years.”

Euboea crawls over to you and places a hand on your shoulder, “Once enough time passes you’ll begin to lose the years, Little One. Time will pass seamlessly.”

You smile at your mother’s old friend, and your new one. All of the women surrounding you had been friends with your mother. Had cared for her. Io had even loved her. You sometimes wondered if their devotion to you, their sisterhood, came out of obligation to your mother or out of caring for you.

In the past three years, you had truly become one of the Amazons. They had accepted you, cared for you, and trained you. You were rarely alone, and no matter where their dedication came from, you loved your sisters.

You decide to change the subject, “I’m officially sick of the beach.”

Artemis smirks, “You love the beach,

you just hate the sand.”

“Fair enough.” Without another word,

you run straight for the water. The water is clear and cool, and the moment you’re underneath, the rest of the world vanishes. You have several seconds of perfect silence before there are five splashes, and you’re brought back.

You push above the water and take

a deep gulp of air, before slicking your hair back from your face. You stare at your laughing sisters before diving back under and rinsing the rest of the sand away.

You listen to them talk back and forth to each other for a while, before swimming back to shore. The long walk home is filled with talk about the previous day’s spars, and the feast being prepared for dinner. You listened a bit absentmindedly, adding input where you could, and doing your best to not show just how deep your thoughts were going.

The six of you split up once you reach the city, so that you can bathe and change in time for the banquet that night. You make your way down the streets silently. You greet your fellow sisters, and watch as they interact. They laugh and talk, and seem so carefree that you can’t help but smile.

Your home sits in the middle of the city, guarded by your mother’s royal guard. You’re given smiles at your return, and more than one chuckles at your appearance. Your grandmother is waiting for you, the amusement clear on her face. “Welcome home, my little moon and stars, I see you had an adventurous day.”

You smile, “To say the least. I am in dire need of a bath.”

“One has been prepared for you, we will dine once you are finished.”

Without another word, you make your way to the bathing area. There are a few other women there, guards and the sort. Any initial embarrassment you had felt at the beginning of your stay had disappeared in the first month. After three years, it is simply the norm now. You listen to the chatter, while enjoying the warmth of the water.

It eases the aches and pains from the day, and you relish the sensation of the last of the sand being washed away. You’re the last one to leave, and on your way out, you catch of glimpse of yourself in the mirror.

You stare for a minute. Your body has become toned in the three years since you’d come to your new home. Muscle lines your arms and thighs, and your skin is littered with little scars from training mishaps, and such.

You realize that you look more like your mother now than you ever have before. You still favor your grandmothers in the looks department, but in your body shape and the way you carry yourself is all your mother. Then you narrow in on your eyes, and you smile, because you have your father’s eyes.

Turning away, you quickly dry yourself and dress in fresh clothes. The dress is light in the summer air, and smooth against your skin. Your grandmother and sisters are waiting for you in the dining hall. Most of Themyscira has turned out for the banquet. Your friends sit halfway down the table dressed in their best clothes. You take the seat to your grandmother’s right, and you wait.

Your grandmother stands, and the entire hall quiets. She gives you a small smile before she begins, “It has been three years since my daughter, our Diana left us for the last time. She left us in order to save Man’s World, a world she came to love. A world where she built a second home, and where she gave us my grand-daughter, your sister Y/N.”

There’s a pause as all eyes turn to you. You bow your head in acknowledgement, and she continues, “Though we have lost Diana, her spirit lives on in each of us, and she has left us with the wonderful blessing that is her daughter. In these three years, my grand-daughter has lived with us, trained with us, and become one of us. She is an Amazon, and Diana’s legacy. Tonight we eat and drink in the memory of our sister, my daughter, Diana, Princess of Themyscira.”

You raise your goblet in a toast before you take a sip. You listen to stories of your mother for the next several hours. You wait until the wine is gone and your sisters are lost in their memories before you slip away.

You slip into your room, and make your way to the locked trunk on the other side. You remove the key from around your neck and unlock it. Inside remains what few things you have of your past. Pictures, clothes, stuffed animals, home videos, the works. You slip out of the dress and put on your old workout clothes. You close and lock the trunk, before grabbing the bow and arrow in the corner of the room.

You slip out of the palace and through the deserted streets to the practice grounds. Finally alone, you allow yourself to remember. You remember your mother, your brothers, Alfred, your friends, and of course, your father. You can almost hear his voice as you move into your stance and shoot the first arrow.

You remember the family cookouts, playing at the station, cooking with Alfred, reading with your father, playing with your brothers, gardening with your mother. You remember Christmases and birthdays. You go through every memory you have, trying to remember every little detail.

Through the memories and the tears, you continue to shoot. Arrow after arrow, and they all hit dead center. When you’re out of arrows, and your breathing is staggered, you allow yourself to collapse. You sink to your knees, and you allow yourself to cry.

And when the tears disappear, you lie down on the ground and turn to the sky. You stare at the stars, and picture your parents looking down on you.

Your grandmother watches you from a distance. Her heart aches for you and the mother you’ve lost. It aches for the daughter she’s lost. Your friends come up behind her, but they don’t say anything.

“We’ve spent so many years reminiscing the Diana we knew that we have never given her the chance to tell us about the Diana she knew.”

Io’s voice is soft, “Would they really be so different, my Queen?”

“For Diana to leave us and fall in love with a man, I imagine they are two very different people. I, for one, am curious as to who she was when she was away from us. I think it is time we found out.”

You sat cross-legged on the sofa while Bucky was fixing himself up. He told your best friend he could see your spirit and ended up with a split lip.

“You’re not doing it right.”

“Really?” Bucky replied with a sigh and turned to you, a painful smirk on his face. “Wanna do it for me?”

“I would if I could… you know, hold things.”

He laughed silently and continued dabbing at the skin around his wound with a disinfectant-soaked cotton. You leaned closer to him and looked into the mirror.

“It won’t heal well if you don’t put it on your lip.”

He whined, still avoiding the wound. “But it hurts.”
