Hello, I have a question! I hope it's not too stupid. Assuming Don G Silver and Don Giovanni are both skeleton monsters, what are their respective soul color? By the way, I love your art and all your Gs, they're so cool! You manage to make each one very recognizable despite them looking a lot like each other, it's incredible. Especially with both the Dons... I mean they're so hot... Hem. Anyway, take care and thank you for you answer, whatever it is! <3

wow it’s been a while since I got any mail! HAHa glad u like my works

Ummmm tbh in my version all monster hearts are white. :D… I’m not very creative lol but yeh both dons have white/silvery look (maybe gio is like darker shade of silver?)

Hello! I'm the anon whose ask you just answered about being thirteen and being so young. Just a follow-up question, if that's okay. I definitely agree with what you said, even though I don't like it, lol! So, I'm planning to share my story with my teacher. I respect and admire him a lot and I don't want him to think that I'm a bad writer. Should I share my story with him, even though it's not "adult-like"?

I definitely think you should share it with him!

Especially since teachers tend to be good at interacting with students who really care about things. Don’t worry about being “bad” at your age because the things I shared with English and creative writing teachers were “amazing” at the time, but now they’re just hilariously awful (because I grew up and learned more). The thing is, the teachers understood that they should talk to me at the level I was ready for. For someone my age at the time, the praise was true. Would you judge a 7 year-old’s essay at the same level as a college student’s? No. Teachers especially get it, or else nobody would ever get through school.

You’re too concerned with binary terms when writing is a skill spectrum and “good” and “bad” are all relative to age and (more importantly) experience level. You have to let yourself be bad before you can be good, and 3, 5, even 10 years is arguably not that long to be writing for. There’s a reason they separate a lot of contests by age or years-of-writing background, and you have to let yourself be bad before you can improve. I’d judge a 20 year-old who’s been writing stories for 10 years on a different level than a 40 year-old who just started.

You can only fairly judge yourself at a level that aligns with your background. It especially helps to actively pursue betterment through workshops, classes, and hard critiques. Writing stories isn’t easy, but it should at least be fun or why do it?

By the way, “adult-like” doesn’t necessarily mean “good”, it just refers to a different worldview and perspective that typically contributes to a better understanding of writing (because it’s about more than just coherently stringing words together). “Good” writing depends on how long someone has been writing for, what their educational background is, how serious they’ve been about improving, etc. Some factors influence some people more than others. (Some adults aren’t all that mature either.)

So, share your work with that teacher!! Trusted teachers are a good place to start for gaining confidence.

This is what we get for laughing at his constant hearteyes emojis, the guy is getting creative! We can't say anything, spies everywhere lol.

Honestly I just laugh at the whole charade. It’s extremely amusing. This particular comment? It’s like they’re doing a parody of their fake ship. Normally I don’t comment on the cat heart emojis (seriously tho dude?), but yeah, I’ve no doubt they are on our blogs.

Hey, whatever, yanno? They do what they gotta do to protect what they have, and I’m right here supporting them til they’re ready to be free.

Okay but consider: Carl and Ellie off of Up (YOU know that heart-wrenching beginning sequence), but Royai.

OKAY NONNY FIRST OFF?????????? OUCH?? I love it I’m imagining it and I’m……. dying.

Secondly, lol I was talking to someone about EtU yesterday and I realized that it was waiting patiently but I know that it’s Suffering so I was like, “I should actually expand my writing and my creative reach by writing more romance and fluff and step into hurt/comfort but not tread too far,” and then suddenly I get angst AUs in my inbox because you guys know me and my ways and sure enough I’m rubbing my grubby, bloody hands together and thinking about these AUs

Every time I come back to this AU, I get reminded of how pure these two are??

I adjusted Mika’s appearance slightly by adding more scales/fins on his body!! Yuu loves wearing his khaki shorts and fave matcha-green hoodie :-)

I took a break from my plant comic… to draw another plant comic

My creative process is definitely not as smooth as it looks here, but this is more or less how I got around to starting FP!

(Also the venus flytraps are definitely a reference to Little Shop of Horrors)

Try to unravel this mystery, January.

I did it for the pun

a lot of people have understandably been shitting on rick and morty lately bc of the obnoxious fans but I just saw someone say that the art is ‘as ugly and generic as any other unfunny adult cartoon’ and I thought that was like, pretty unfair and false…the artists of rick & morty are very talented and creative! they put a lot of genuine effort into the art! they’re also not the ones who stabbed someone over meme sauce lol

Unpopular opinion:

  • Neil actually has a really good taste in music
  • This shocks all the foxes later
  • he spent A LOT of time in the car and his mom and him weren’t that… talkative (unless they where planning or going over back stories) so instead of spending that time in silence they would play music
  • He memorized the top ten charts for eight years in a row because he needed something anything to do that had nothing to do with running or he would go crazy
  • Neil and Mary also spent a lot of time in small dive bars (fight me on this) cause they often didn’t have cameras and was full of drunks who kept their heads down, dont ask questions, and pay no mind to a random lady and a tough lookin kid sitting by themselves at a table in the corner
  • What these bars lacked in size they made up for with live entertainment
  • Mainly Local bands that would play covers of practically anything
  • This is where Neil learns a lot of classics and other popular songs
  • Neil kept a lot of secrets (duh) but most of them where shared with Mary… some he kept himself
  • Like that these where his favorite night’s while on the run, he always got excited when Mary stopped the car in front of a crappy looking bar and he would see someone dragging in a drum and some speakers in through the back
  • He (also securely) really wants to sing with one of the small little bands at least ones but he knew it was unrealistic
  • One band preformed Dog Days Are Over by Florence and the machine and the song stuck with Neil for years. he knows every word
  • Years down the road all the foxes make playlist for long bus rides or work outs and they are all surprised when Neil actually has one to share
  • And it’s really Good!
  • It’s got a bit of everything and they transition really well (never goes from a fast song to a slow song, or a soft song to a loud song, nothing jaring)
  • everyone is for once happy with the playlist they all have to listen too
  • Now Neil is the one shocked as the Foxes unanimously elect him to be in charge of music from now on

and when the lights start flashing like a photobooth
and the stars exploding
we’ll be fireproof

Charades feat. the Ipliers

…is fun. And wacky. And dangerous. Especially dangerous.

(I don’t even know where this came from, but I just thought that WIlford would be the only guy who would straight up insult Dark in the face lol. And so, why not? Here you go! Hope you all like it :D)
