i like black people

Finn : a complexe, well-rounded, loveable black character

Hux : a white guy we saw 3 minutes in the movie, who said 3 lines, so
insignificant I didn’t even remember he was there after seeing the movie

You know what? I really wish people were as hyped about Sonequa Martin-Green being the first Black woman to lead in a Star Trek series as they are about the D*ctor Wh* casting. But then again, most feminists don’t care about non-White women so it’s to be expected that most of you guys don’t care about the fact that she’s making history too. And when you factor in Michelle Yeoh, you get it doubly so. Last time I checked, this is a pretty big deal for the sci-fi genre too.

What’s strange, to me, is people thinking that the D*ctor Wh* casting gives hope to all little girls when we know that’s not true. This issue is just so very layered and complex, but there is something particularly troubling about the fact that people think a White woman should be the symbol all little girls should look up to, regardless of their race. It’s so very arrogant to believe that little non-White girls will be represented by this woman that looks nothing like them. It’s very arrogant to think that little non-White girls should look up to the new Doctor as their new hero, especially knowing this casting is only a win for White women and White women only.

RARE PHOTOS OF YANA TOBOSO APPEARING IN PUBLIC (2017/09/16, Black Label Pop-up Store in Osaka, Japan)

According to YANA’s tweet, she was the person inside this giant Bitter Rabbit costume suit. Of course, she didn’t tell her fans about it in advance, so all these people who went to the the Black Label store thought it’s just a random staff wearing an animal suit, when in fact they were shaking hands and taking photos with Yana! xD

Yana’s tweet from 2017/09/16

Today, when I was shopping at LUCUA at about 3PM, I suddenly got swallowed by Bitter Rabbit who probably mistook me for his afternoon snack and ended up spending half a day in his stomach. After the persuasion by the staff (they were like “Haven’t I told you not to pick up and eat everything? Spit it out now!”), he eventually spitted me out in the evening though. - Toboso

When I was in Bitter Rabbit’s stomach, I could faintly hear the [visitors’] voices outside. Everyone seemed to have fun, and this made me really happy. Thank you, Bitter Rabbit! Everyone, please come visit Bitter Rabbit, too. However, this rabbit is full of curiosity, so please be careful not to get gnawed [and eaten] by him like me!  - Toboso

i rlly like the idea of them just chilling in the afterlife or smth

So I know like 90% of the fandom is against black paladin Keith and like for the most part, I’m kinda iffy about it myself. But hear me out. Black paladin Keith… whose right-hand man is Lance. Lance acts as an advisor of sorts, whom Keith trusts, no questions asked. If Shiro isn’t going to listen to Lance, Keith will. Keith already knows Lance is capable and takes the mission seriously (even though he seems to take little else seriously. That’s not to say he isn’t serious, just he copes differently). They have already experienced first hand that working together yields success. And already we can see that when it gets down the nitty gritty, they fall into a harmonious efficiency, despite the air of competitiveness between them. Keith is the drive and the passion and Lance, the patience and positivity. Together they make an unstoppable force. A good team, if you will.

Y’all do realise that the only reason Ciel acts the way he does he’s being raised by a literal demon. Like this child went through a horrific traumatic experience that left him with major trust issues and rather than get the love and support he needs he has a this avatar of evil itself encouraging and magnifying every destructive emotion because he finds it amusing.

Ciel’s not a terrible person - Sebastian is.

“You people, incapable of accepting the world as it is,” says the man to whom the world handed everything.

A Vietnamese man named Vincent once told me not to use the nickname Kiki because it’s too Black and therefore ghetto and ugly.

The name people have called me all my life is ugly because it’s associated with my culture and what I am… Black.

I have no clue how some of you can be so buddy buddy with people like this in the name of solidarity lol.. wild.

Guess who I drew!! Again!! Because I love her!!!!!
