“Thank you for…”

@markiplier, @therealjacksepticeye, and @crankgameplays.

Being in this community has brought a lot of joy, laughter, friends, and love into my life. I was inspired to redraw a picture I done way back in 2015 to show our thanks to Ethan, Mark, and Jack. They have given us so much and I felt like we needed to give something back. I posted awhile ago for community members to send a “Thank you for…” message, to see all the messages i almost cried. I am so thankful for everyone who participated an made this possible. This was my first community project and I am happy with how it all turned out and I hope everyone who participated or have seen the process are happy with how it turned out.

If the guys see this, I want to let them know something:

let's talk about the "I love you" scene....

(am I the only one that didn’t interpret the “I love you” scene as cannon sherlolly??? I interpreted it as yes, a very human moment- but that he was destroying the coffin because he recognized the gravity of what he had just done to Molly- he has always brushed off her advances and here he has to confront her and force her to say ‘I love you’ to a man that doesn’t feel the same…he knows how deeply he hurt her and he’s angry at Eurus for making him hurt his friends so deeply. Also when John realizes what Sherlock has to do he says “no” and when Sherlock says it…Mycroft turns away. They know it is cruel and heartbreaking for Molly and Sherlock cannot bear to inflict pain upon the people he loves. And yes I do believe he loves Molly, but platonically…there’s been no build up or prior context to suggest a relationship between the two. I thought it was clear that Sherlock was angry and upset for hurting Molly and destroyed the coffin as a result…not because he loved her¿ that doesn’t make sense¿ but idk that’s just me I guess)

You know, I think I’m done with BBC Sherlock. The quality of the show has been declining since season 2 ended. I originally fell in love with the show because it was so clever and unpredictable and it felt so fresh, but this season has really been nothing more than bad writing and plot holes all around.

Futhermore, I am so disappointed in how the female characters are treated as nothing more than plot devises. (Although I really should never have expected anything more from Moffat.) And as cherry to the top is the queerbaiting, which in this point just feels insulting towars us queer enjoyers of television.

And before anyone goes and says that at least Eurus and Moriarty are queer, I will just say this: if the only canon queer characters you have are murderers, then yes, we have a fucking problem.

(Or of course Irene Adler, of whose treatment in this show I could propably write a 30-page essay.)

My Top 10 Favorite Animated Opening Theme Songs

My buddies did a list of favorite original songs from animated shows. I haven’t because it would take a while. Until then, here’s something else. I did put a few rules for myself on this on. NO anime openings. NO English dub opening songs (sorry Pokemon). Lyrics or instrumental don’t matter, but the songs have to be so good I’d want to listen to them on my music player.

10. “Judo Flip” The Boondocks

I loved The Boondocks. I also loved the music in this show. It was mostly done by the artist Asheru. It was fresh, hip and soulful. This opening lets you know that you’re dealing with someone who has been enlightened by their struggles.

9. “The Chosen One” American Dragon Jake Long

Listening to Dante Basco freestyle is both great and hilarious. I like both versions, so they share this spot. Pop punk with a smidge of Chinese influences and you got yourself a cool theme song.

Ya’ heard?

8. “What’s New, Scooby-Doo?” What’s New, Scooby-Doo?

I love pop punk. I love pop punk! Simple Plan is a long time name and they made an upbeat, lively theme into the Scooby-Doo lineup. Think of it as a updated version of the original show.

7. “It’s Ladybug!” Miraculous: Tales of Ladybug & Cat Noir

Yeah, it’s kinda campy and silly but so is the show. The theme lets Ladybug and Cat Noir share the spotlight and paints the show in your mind perfectly

6. “We are the Crystal Gems” Steven Universe

I never get tired of hearing this song. All the actors sing beautifully. Optimism and harmony. What more can you ask for?

5. “In the Loud House” The Loud House

I love pop punk. I grew up with it, and I still like it today. This song is as energetic as the show itself. It fits and the theme of family is still there.

4. “A World Without Danger” Code Lyoko

The show is fine. The theme is uplifting to me. Filling me with hope and optimism. The idea of a bright future and that electronica sound is fantastic. I know it’s too corny for some, but sometimes I really need that optimism in my life.

3. “He’s Iron Man” Iron Man: Armored Adventures

I’m going to be honest I don’t really like this show that much. Major problem? It’s boring. Plain and simple. The premise isn’t super great either. Tony Stark as a teenager? Forget it. But the theme is a riffing good time. Rock with the little bits of electronica to throw in the tech influence and you’ll be cheering for everyone’s favorite jerk with a heart of gold. Just not the kid in the show.

2. “Spectacular!” The Spectacular Spider-Man

My favorite of all the Spider-Man cartoons, and that’s because I grew up loving the 1994 series. It’s not nostalgia. It’s my lifelong hero being perfected. The theme is catching and creative, not relying on previous themes. I jam out to this song, throwing my hands in the air saying “spectacular” over and over.

1. “Fight As One” Avengers: Earth’s Mightiest Heroes

You hear this theme and you know it’s ass kicking time. A rock tune that gets you pumped to save the world. When the world is in despair, you put your cape on and fight. Because if we can’t save the world, you can bet your ass we’ll avenge it.

Honorable Mention: Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Pick one. Any one.

Discourse Time

Hi, normally I opt out of stuff like this but now I gotta put my foot in this shit.

To preface everything I love Oswald and Ed. I love them both (Ed a bit more if I am being honest), but I can recognize when someone I love has fucked up. And let me tell you, Ed and Os have both fucked up.

Yes, technically Oswald has killed more people than Ed. But, they both killed out of jealously. But the real fuck up at them moment is mah Boi Edward. He is purposely messing with Oswald’s psyche to ruin his life. DID I MENTION THIS IS ON PURPOSE. Oswald killed Isabella thinking it would help Edward; not realizing it hurt him until after the fact. Oswald felt at least a little guilt. I know it has only been one episode so far but Edward is taking damn near orgasmic pleasure in hurting Oswald with no sign of guilt.

In short Ed and Os have both done bad. But Eddy boy is being super bad, so don’t put him on a pedestal.

27, 31, 40 an 51 please!

27. What do you hate more: Coming up with titles or writing summaries?
Both are awful, but summaries are the actual worst so, summaries!

31. What’s the nicest thing someone has ever said about your writing?
Oh god, I don’t really know… So many people have said so many kind things over the years, and I love each and every one of you who has done :3 Uhhhh, I think some of the most wonderful comments that I’ve taken to heart have been the ones who said things along the lines of ‘your writing genuinely rivalled Tolkien’s’ - I mean, that’s some high praise <3 But also after posting some Angbang thing, someone just wrote ‘BLESS YOU’ and the absolute lack of context in which I needed to be blessed just made me so happy :3

40. What do you struggle the most with in your writing?
Does ‘speed of updating my fics’ count? :P I guess within the writing process itself, it’s just not being repetitive with both vocabulary and action sequences.

51. Rant or Gush about one thing you love or hate in the world of fanfiction! Go!
MODERN AUs. AUs IN GENERAL. HOLY FUCK. I HATE THEM SO MUCH. I’M SO SORRY IF YOU LOVE THEM BUT I JUST CAN’T DO IT, OKAY? WHY WOULD YOU TAKE AN AMAZING FANTASY UNIVERSE AND THEN SET THE CHARACTERS IN THE BORING-ASS, MUNDANE SETTING OF A COFFEE SHOP? OR HIGH SCHOOL? OR FUCKING COLLEGE? YOU HAD THESE AMAZING CHARACTERS AND YOU DILUTED THEM INTO PALE IMAGES OF THEMSELVES AND THEIR CONTEXT AND THEIR PURPOSES WITHIN THE ORIGINAL WORK’S NARRATIVE AND JUST UGHHHHHHHHH. Not today, Satan. Not today. /end rant

Some people are scared that actually there's a wedding but it won't end up well, like what happened to Jo and Alaric. Not saying one of them will die, but you know, Julie seems to love some tragedy. But I prefer to believe that after they had to put the wedding on hold, it won't get any interruption later. I mean, they aren't getting married right now because of the deal with Cade.

LOL the only people saying this are the same people who’s speculations have been wrong about Steroline ending for good the past two seasons so I would pay them no mind. Julie even lowkey spoiled the wedding and it was in reference to Carolines arc so how could it not be her? Also the wedding has been mentioned in every single episode since the proposal, it’s probably one of the lost heavily loaded Chekhov’s guns this show has ever done. It’s happening.

Hello~ so I really love this account so much! I have recently been reading the light novels and I know I may sound biased but sometimes I dislike how the fandom (especially things I've seen) don't use the true characters personalities As to who they are. I mean yes Guren has done bad things, he should receive the consequences but he is so misunderstood. He loves everyone but hides it. He hides so much and lives with the burden. He's pretty much a tsundrere but that's why I love him! -

(Jeez me again sorry I must be annoying) But back to my point, he is made out to be a mean abusive person. Which Everyones view is entirely up to them but they miss huge things out about him. (Sorry if I make any of you mad) but a character that is so much different to me in the light novels is shinya. I mean he has every right to be what he is as he’s had a bad life. But it just seems his fandom self is just not canon? (Sorry if I don’t make sense! But I love this account and of course Guren)

Ah, thanks, I’m glad you enjoy this account. (And our boy Guren~). I don’t really delve into the fandom much haha. But I can imagine that everyone will make their own assumptions about the characters and such. Though we all know that I’ll agree on the Guren not being abusive part, just that he makes mistakes when trying to protect everybody. I think that’s a way him and Yuu are similar. (And from what I’ve seen in the fandom, they can get the same treatment in regards to this trait.) I’ve seen people get angry at Yuu for allowing his demon/seraph self to develop. But it’s not like that’s what he wants to happen, he just wants to protect his family. Like Guren who didn’t want to become a namanari or have hundreds of thousands of deaths on his hands, he just wanted to protect the people he cares about. Their intentions are pure, the circumstances just lead them down questionable paths. In regards to Shinya, all I’ve ever seen is #protectShinya types of posts haha.

A Series of Unfortunate Events is called “a/one disaster rarely comes alone” in Danish which is a idiom similar to “misery loves company”

what’s interesting though is that with the books and the movie it was written as “En ulykke kommer sjældent alene” while the Netflix series is written as “Én ulykke kommer sjældent alene”

now “en” can mean both “a” or “one” the distiction is not clearly made in Danish, but the meaning of using an acute is to put pressure on the word and call attention to the fact that we’re  talking about only one, single instance of something.

and I can’t really figure out why they’d use the acute for the Netflix series? it’s rarely used for the idiom as far as i know, and it seems unimportant to emphasise the meaning as one, single disaster ?? so i don’t really understand why they’ve done this

the acute over “en” has always been a bit of a curious thing tbh. using it here isn’t incorrect it just seems unnecessary. all it does is make me apply the pressure differently when reading it.

REMEMBER HOW VICTOR SAID THIS

I was so weirded out when Yuri and Victor both broke down crying and basically healed whatever hard feelings they had since that fight.

Y’ALL KNOW WHY THEY BROKE DOWN?

Victor said in the last episode that when Yuri gets gold, they’ll get married.

WHAT VICTOR IS SAYING HERE TO YURI IS BASICALLY,

“I CAN’T WAIT UNTIL I MARRY YOU. DO YOUR BEST.”

This is why Yuri stares at Victor, who has this loving gaze in his eyes.

AND THIS IS WHY YURI WAS SO HAPPY.

HE SAW WHAT VICTOR MEANT BEHIND THE WORDS.

ily: i love you

ilysm: i love you so much

ilysmichbilysmifligtaliomymmnbyammcrccahgmbcykmcfl: I like you so much, I can hardly breathe. I like you so much, I feel like I got thunder and lightning inside of me. You make me nervous but you also make me calm. Real calm. Calm almost how god must be calm, you know, Mylene? Calm from loving.
