Yeah, I said it, the thing that so many people in this fandom are not happy to admit. Joseph is not a bad person, not by a long shot. Hell, there are far more issues with Robert than there are with Joseph - the only real moral difference between the two is that Robert gets a happy ending, and Joseph does not. That is literally it.
“But Joseph cheated-” Yes, yes he did. Joseph cheated on Mary with Robert, and he cheats on Mary with the MC. However, there is clearly a lot more to the Joseph/Robert story than we know, so there’s nothing that we can glean from it other than speculation. Somehow, a lot of people like to speculate that Joseph is the bad person because…Robert said so? Why on Earth would we believe one person? Even Mary doesn’t say her husband is a bad man, and she has every right to do so as his wife. Robert is not reliable. Then, when Joseph cheats on Mary with the MC, the two of them are actively about to get a divorce.
That’s it. Those three things, the two instances of cheating and Robert saying that Joseph isn’t a good person is literally all we have to say that Joseph is a bad person. That is it. The cult ending is still not in the game, and literally everything else is entirely speculation. There is no other evidence saying Joseph is a bad person.
“He lost track of his kids-” At a park, in the morning, in a safe neighborhood. Yeah sure it’s a little squiffy, but if we’re going to get on Joseph’s case for that then we should also be yelling at Mary for not only losing track of Crish, but completely disregarding her husband’s concern for the toddler.
Joseph actively gets upset if you lie on his route, Joseph actively tries his best to make sure that his youth party goes well, that his children are happy. He encourages his children’s weird behaviors and appears to have a good understanding of his autistic son as well. He spends time to create a man cave for him and the MC to relax and joke in, he supports Damien and all the other dads despite their gender and sexual alignment. He actively tries to help Hugo with Ernest and doesn’t lose his temper at the clearly troubled kid. There is so much good to this man, and this fandom is reducing him to an abusive manipulator based on no evidence other than “Robert said so”. The devs themselves have said before that you can’t take everything in this game at face value, and Robert is friends with Mary. I go into this more on another one of my posts, but Robert only ever sees Mary upset, so he only ever hears that Joseph is at fault. Is it so hard to imagine that maybe Robert is over reacting because he’s being over defensive of his friend? Is it really?
And as for Mary - again, Mary never says her husband is a bad man and, honestly, she’s more at fault for the shitty place their marriage is in than Joseph. That might be a touchy subject for some, but I’m serious. Mary goes out drinking most nights, she flirts with almost every man she meets, staying out until God knows when having ‘fun’ with Robert. Neil and Robert may insist that she isn’t cheating, but uh, flirting is still cheating. It is still 100% cheating on your partner to go out and flirt endlessly with another person. It is not okay, and will never be okay. She also lowkey makes fun of his religion, is obviously super flippant about caring for her children (she let her kids watch an R rated movie, and didn’t seem to care one lick about Crish), and is incredibly passive aggressive. Hell, at some points in the game, she is just aggressive towards the MC and Robert has to tell her to back off.
Mary is not a bad person, nor is Robert, but that’s kind of my point. None of these people are bad people, but somehow this fandom has turned Mary and Robert into pure cinnamon rolls and Joseph into a literal demon because…I don’t know. I really don’t know. There’s even a comic going around that keeps getting reblogged with tags like “yeah, fuck Joseph!” “Joseph is so cruel to Mary” “I wish Robert and Mary would get together and leave Joseph”. These tags are incredibly upsetting because of how short minded these people are. The comic has Mary coming home late at night with Robert practically shouting a song at the top of their lungs. People somehow see this as harmless fun and Joseph is totally just ruining it by being a bad husband…But seriously?
First of all, walking around incredibly drunk and screaming songs in the middle of the night is public indecency and you could have the cops called on you for disturbing the peace. Would you be happy if your drunk neighbor woke you up at night? What if you had a baby, like Craig?
And, secondly…How on Earth is Joseph the bad one in the situation for ‘stopping their fun’? Humor me for just a second if you’re having trouble understanding me. For just one second, imagine Mary is a man. We’ll say his name is Marty. Marty has a wife named Josephine. Marty goes out most nights to get incredibly drunk with his female friend, Robin. Josephine knows and has seen how Marty gets when he’s drunk, she knows how Marty flirts with the girls at the bar, sitting next to them, wrapping his arm around them, getting them to buy him drinks with a wink and a smile. Josephine has to put the four kids to bed each night - the autistic one, the hyper ones, and the toddler. Josephine waits up for her husband to come home, nervous for her safety, and nervous that…What if tonight was the night she brought another woman home? Or, came back in the morning smelling of another woman’s perfume? Then, she hears the tell tale singing of Marty and Robin on the way home, followed shortly after by the Crish’s cry and a light across the street turning on…
Does any of that sound even remotely okay? Could you imagine if the situation where truly reversed like that, with a husband getting hopelessly drunk most nights, flirting with women, and coming home late? Do you still think that he is totally at fault for being angry that his wife came home drunk? Honestly, there is no difference between the people telling Joseph to go fuck himself for ruining his wife’s ‘fun’ and the men I’ve seen my father hang around with joking about how my own mother was his ‘ball and chain’ for the exact same reason. There is a good reason my mom and dad are not together anymore.
Mary is clearly an alcoholic. Even if she’s not an angry drunk, I’ve known plenty of people and read plenty of stories of children who were raised with drunk parents. You usually only hear about the father, so again if you’re having trouble understanding why Mary’s alcoholism is an issue then imagine she’s Marty. Imagine Marty as a father who is constantly drunk or with a drink in hand, a father who accidentally lets you watch movies that you know you shouldn’t watch, a father who just waves you away and ignores you, a father who disappears every night…Why is mommy the only one home at night? Why are they fighting? Is it your fault?
That got a little heavy, but at this point I just want this to stop. I am so tired of going into the Joseph tag and finding nothing but hate post after hate post after hate post. I am so tired of seeing posts blaming Joseph for Mary’s alcoholism and Robert’s…Issues when we all know damn well that can’t possibly be the reason. Robert was a terrible person in his past and he’s upset about it, and we really don’t know what’s going on with Mary. We don’t, sans speculation. End of story. There is no way we can reliably blame Joseph for everything, and it’s even getting to the point where the anti-Joseph posts are actually becoming abusive to Joseph using Mary AND Robert as the assailants.
tl;dr: Joseph is not a bad man, Mary and Robert are not flawless, the way Mary acts is seriously problematic, and some of stuff you guys are posting is actually kinda hurtful. Can we reel a back a little?
Request: anyway i would like to request bts/exo/got7 (whoever you want really; i love them all) reacting to another member not liking, not getting along m, or hating their s/o.
thank you for requesting this, i did this reaction with BTS but if you want me to do it with a different group, let me know! 💕
warning: some strong language
The two of you thought you were alone in the dorm, which was why you had turned the TV on at full volume, and laughed loudly at every single funny thing that happened in the comedic movie that you guys were watching.
Suddenly, the fun was interrupted when the door of Jin’s bedroom was thrown open. Both of you turned to look at Namjoon – who had just burst into the room – with startled expressions.
“It’s loud,” Namjoon cut Jin off, a frustrated expression on his face. “You’re loud. Some people are trying to work here.”
“Sorry, we didn’t realize anyone else was here,” you added awkwardly.
Namjoon glared at you. “How would you? You don’t even live here.”
He only told the truth, you tried to tell yourself to avoid feeling hurt by these words. It wasn’t as important what he said, but the way he said it. He looked really annoyed with you and his eyes told you that he’d rather you weren’t here.
“Namjoon,” Jin said, suddenly getting up from the bed. “Can I talk to you outside for a moment?”
“I have to get back to work,” Namjoon turned him down and began to close the door.
“It will only take a moment,” Jin repeated in a stern voice and Namjoon sighed deeply before walking into the hallway to wait for Jin.
“What’s the matter with you?” Jin accused Namjoon, once he closed the door. “Why do you always turn into such a dick whenever Y/n’s over?”
Namjoon debated what to say for a moment and then sighed. “I don’t like her, man.”
Jin hadn’t expected him to say that which is why it took him a moment to regain his balance.
“W-why?” Jin asked.
“I don’t know,” Namjoon shrugged his shoulders, looking down. “Maybe it makes no sense, but she’s just… I don’t know. You’re always with her. Literally, always. You’re late to rehearsals and you’re constantly stuck in your dream world. It’s like… It’s like we lost you.”
“I’m in love, Joon,” Jin said, sighing sadly. “I’m sorry for being late, but I’m not sorry for anything else.”
Namjoon just nodded and swallowed, suddenly feeling very uncomfortable.
“You haven’t lost me,” Jin continued then. “Maybe I’ve just been a little preoccupied with my relationship but I’m still here. I’m still the same person. And, honestly, it hurts me to see you dislike the girl that I’m in love with. Give her a chance, Joon. Please.”
“I’ll try,” Namjoon said. “I’m happy for you, Jin. I am, even if it doesn’t seem that way. Just… try to find a way to make your relationship and job work, okay? And apologize to Y/n for me.”
Jin nodded his head and the two boys watched each other for a moment before laughing uncomfortably and sharing a quick hug to let each other know that there were no hard feelings between them.
Yoongi was exiting his studio, on his way to his bedroom to prepare for your date, when he heard a voice outside of Jin’s room and stopped short.
“He’s not coming,” Jin was talking to someone on the phone. “Ever since he met Y/n, he hasn’t bothered to hang out with us. I’m not going to even ask him.”
Yoongi’s heart started to race when he heard your name slip from Jin’s lips. He listened more intently but he couldn’t hear what the other person on the phone was saying.
“No, I’m pretty sure she tells him not to go,” Jin said, then. “I mean, Yoongi was never a big fan of parties but if we asked him nicely, he would go. But then he started dating—”
Not wanting to hear him say your name again, Yoongi stepped into the room, surprising Jin and forcing him to drop his phone in panic.
“Knocking seems to be a thing that exists!” Jin exclaimed, clutching his chest and breathing deeply. “You scared the hell out of me.”
“What the fuck were you talking about?” Yoongi asked.
“W-what do you mean?” Yoongi saw Jin hang up the phone and put the phone in his back pocket without getting up from the bed.
“I heard you talk about Y/n, hyung,” Yoongi said. “It’s not cool.”
“Oh,” Jin said and then stayed quiet for a moment, trying to choose his next words. “I didn’t mean to offend you. It’s just that she’s sort of stealing you away from the rest of us, isn’t she?”
“She’s not stealing me away from anyone,” Yoongi replied angrily. “I’m the one who makes the choice to spend as much time with her as I can because, believe it or not, I love her. And I’ve never had anything like that before.”
“Look, I understand but—”
“No, Jin,” Yoongi stopped him, shaking his head. “If there’s a ‘but,’ then you don’t understand. And honestly, I can’t believe you would voluntarily talk shit about someone that means so much to me.”
“I’m not talking shit,” Jin defended himself. “And for the record, you haven’t even introduced her to us.”
“Well, maybe the reason why I haven’t introduced her to you is because you’re already behaving like a dick,” Yoongi said. “It’s already hard for her to be with me, she doesn’t need my friends hating her, too.”
Jin sighed, finally understanding that fighting with Yoongi about this was pointless. He was never going to win.
“I’m sorry,” Jin said, finally. “I’ll be nice. All of us will be. Bring her around sometime.”
Fighting the urge to yell a little more, Yoongi swallowed. “I’ll think about it.”
Hoseok was really excited when he told the rest of the members that you were coming to visit him since he was on tour and hasn’t seen you in a month now. All the other members cheered and congratulated him. All, except for Taehyung, who continued to sit on the couch at the other end of the room.
“Taehyung,” Hoseok called out. “Is something wrong?”
Taehyung raised his head from the phone in his hands and shrugged his shoulders.
“Okay, hold on,” Hoseok told the five guys around him and headed towards Taehyung, sitting down next to him once he reached him. “Seriously, what’s the matter?”
Taehyung took a deep breath and locked his phone before turning to look at Hoseok.
“Don’t take this the wrong way,” Taehyung started. “But I don’t think Y/n is the girl for you.”
Hoseok’s mouth had suddenly gone dry. “Sorry, what?”
“I know you like her and that’s great, hyung,” Taehyung said. “But, really, there’s so many fish in the sea. I could introduce you to—”
“Wait, Taehyung,” Hoseok placed a hand on Taehyung’s face, covering his mouth to prevent him from saying anything else. “What are you trying to tell me? That I shouldn’t be with Y/n?”
“Well…” Taehyung shrugged his shoulders. “She’s just so… weird. And she’s not your type at all.”
“I don’t have a type,” Hoseok said. “And if I did, I’m sure I’d just describe Y/n.”
“You say that now, but, seriously, hyung, she’s just a girl—”
“She’s not just a girl!” Hoseok jumped up from the couch, suddenly overwhelmed with emotion. “She’s the love of my life.”
Taehyung wasn’t expecting this. Not even Hoseok himself expected to say that.
Intense silence was the only thing left in the room as Hoseok tried to get himself together. Once he felt like he did, he turned to look at Taehyung with a soft expression.
“I love her,” he told him. “And I’m sorry if you can’t accept that. But I would love it if you at least tried. I’m really not looking for anyone else, Taehyung. I’m happy with her.”
“Maybe try to get to know Y/n better,” he addressed Taehyung one more time. “I’m sure you’d really like her if you tried.”
Namjoon always claimed that you brought out the best in him and all of the guys seemed to love you for it. They immediately accepted you as one of their own, and whenever the seven of them hung out together, they would invite you, too.
You were more than happy to hang out with them, of course. The only downside was Yoongi.
At first, you thought he looked annoyed all of the time, but then you found out that this was not the case. He was actually a really fun guy. And yet, whenever you were over at the dorm, Yoongi was always looking frustrated. You tried to start up a conversation with him, but he just cut you off shortly, basically letting you know that you shouldn’t even try.
You hated that. You saw how happy it made Namjoon to know that you got along with his friends and you didn’t want him to suddenly be upset because Yoongi seemed to have a problem with you. Which is why you decided to take matters into your own hands.
“Can I talk to you, Yoongi?” you asked him one night, when the eight of you were hanging out in the dorm.
“We’re talking,” Yoongi replied subtly enough, so no one else would notice his immediate change in demeanor.
“No, I mean, alone,” you said. “I just have something I want to tell you.”
Namjoon perked up at this. “Keeping secrets from me, baby?”
You saw Yoongi roll his eyes at the nickname and you frowned for a moment, but then turned to face your boyfriend with a soft smile.
“Of course not,” you told him, quickly kissing him on the cheek. “Actually, this is about you. But I’ll tell you later.”
You stood up from the couch, giving Yoongi an expecting look. He finally realized that he had no choice but to follow you or he’d end up causing a scene in front of the others and that was clearly not what he wanted. So, groaning loudly, he got up from the couch and followed you out of the room.
“Why do you hate me so much?” you asked Yoongi right away, as soon as he closed the door, separating you from the rest of the guys.
“What?” Yoongi blinked. “Where did you get that from?”
“Come on, it’s obvious. You always turn into a huge mess of anger and frustration around me,” you said. “And we’ve barely had any conversations. So, what is it? What have I done wrong?”
Yoongi sighed and looked back to make sure the door was still closed.
“It’s not you, Y/n,” Yoongi said. “It’s just… don’t get me wrong, but you’re always here.”
Now that was a punch in your face you weren’t expecting. “I’m not sure how I could get you wrong.”
“No, it’s not what I—” Yoongi shook his head, sighing again. “Okay, thing is, before you come over, Namjoon always gives us a long lecture – emphasis on long – about how we need to be on our best behavior once you’re around. And you’re always around! And all of a sudden, the rest of the guys just got used to you, and they can fool around and avoid Joon’s dirty looks but I can’t.”
You listened patiently, not daring to interrupt him.
“So, it’s not you that I hate,” Yoongi said. “I hate the fact that for some reason, I can’t be myself around you because Namjoon seems to think that you’ll leave him if you don’t like us.”
“That is bullshit,” you spoke finally. “First of all, I’d never leave Namjoon, I love him with all of my heart. Second of all, I’m sorry. I didn’t know. Please don’t feel obligated to hold yourself back from whatever you want to do when I’m around. You can be yourself around me.”
“So Namjoon can lock me out of the dorm later? No thanks.”
“He wouldn’t do that,” you said with some hesitation. “I’ll talk to him about this, okay? I really don’t want you to feel uncomfortable around me.”
Slowly, Yoongi nodded.
You nodded back. “I’m glad we talked about this.”
“Me too,” Yoongi agreed. “And I’m sorry I gave you the impression that I hated you.”
Jimin jumped around the back of the stage, telling everyone who listened that his girlfriend was in the audience tonight and he was ecstatic. This wasn’t the first time you would see him perform, but this was the first time you came to their actual concert.
However, thirty minutes until showtime, Jimin’s excitement died down.
“Oh God,” he said loudly. “What if I forget my moves? What if I get so distracted that I forget I’m even on stage? Or worse! What if I forget the lyrics?”
“Whoa,” Hoseok interrupted his self-doubt. “Where did that come from?”
“I don’t know,” Jimin admitted. “I just know that Y/n’s here and I want to perform really well, so she would be impressed. But I’m so nervous that I feel like I’ll screw up.”
“Come on, Jimin, you’re always nervous,” Hoseok said with an encouraging smile. “You’ll be great!”
“No, but I’m freaking out,” Jimin continued. “Seriously, what if—”
“Jimin, is this because Y/n’s here?” Hoseok said, suddenly serious. “Because you tend to lose the grip on yourself whenever she’s in the audience. So, maybe – and this is just a suggestion – you shouldn’t bring her to your shows.”
“Shouldn’t bring her to my—what?” Jimin stopped fidgeting and looked at Hoseok with confusion. “But I want her to see me perform.”
“Do you, really?” Hoseok asked. “Because it sounds to me like you just need validation. And you’re making it seem that if you screw up on stage, she’ll dump you. So, I’m just saying that maybe, if you feel this terrified of her seeing you do something wrong, she’s not the one for you.”
Jimin was completely taken aback by his words. “Are you serious, hyung? I just needed you to tell me that everything would be okay, not give me relationship advice.”
“How many times have I told you that everything was going to be okay?” Hoseok countered. “I’m losing patience here. So, I’m sorry, but I’m just telling the truth.”
Hoseok had turned around to walk away, but Jimin grabbed his arm, stopping him.
“Do you… not like Y/n, or something?” he asked carefully.
Hoseok bit his lip, looking for the right way to say this. “When she makes you this nervous – no. Not particularly.”
“But it’s not her that’s making me nervous,” Jimin said. “It’s me.”
“Yeah. And you’re nervous because of her. So, technically…”
Jimin just watched Hoseok for a minute.
“I don’t like this conversation,” Jimin said finally. “I don’t like hearing you say that you don’t like my girlfriend.”
“Okay,” Hoseok shrugged. “I’m going to go find the—”
“No, wait,” Jimin stopped him again. “If I promise to get a grip on myself whenever Y/n’s in the audience, do you promise to never ever use the words ‘hate’ and ‘Y/n’ in the same sentence again?”
“I don’t hate her, Jimin,” Hoseok said with a sigh. “I just don’t like that she turns you into a nervous wreck before every show.”
“It’s not her fault!” Jimin said a little louder than he intended to and a few make-up artists turned their heads to look at them. “It’s my fault I’m nervous. She’s not doing anything wrong. So, dislike me, if you have to. Not her.”
“No, hyung,” Jimin cut him off. “Y/n’s incredible. I love her. There’s no reason for anyone to hate her and I won’t accept it if people do that.”
Hoseok, understanding that this was a lost cause, and Jimin wasn’t even hearing him, just nodded. “Okay.”
“Okay,” Jimin repeated. “I’m going to go to freak out to Jungkook now.”
You always found Jungkook intimidating and you’ve told this to Taehyung multiple times. And every time, Taehyung would say that it’s nonsense and that it’s just your imagination because maybe Jungkook just wasn’t used to you yet.
But it’s been a year and Jungkook still left the room when you entered it. Every time he did that, you shot Taehyung a helpless look but he would just shrug his shoulders and smile, making you forget your worries momentarily.
Taehyung always did everything he could to make you feel welcome around the dorm, and the other guys seemed to like you, too. And yet Jungkook’s indifference still made the atmosphere glum for you.
“If this upsets you so much, I’ll talk to him,” Taehyung said one day after he noticed your face fall once Jungkook left the room again. “But really, you have no reason to feel uncomfortable here.”
You nodded but didn’t say anything. Taehyung placed a quick kiss on your temple and got up to find where Jungkook had gone to.
“Jungkook!” he called out in the hallway.
“Yeah?” a voice replied somewhere at the end of the hall and Taehyung headed over there to find Jungkook sitting on the counter in the kitchen.
“What are you doing here?” Taehyung asked him.
A little confused, Jungkook shrugged his shoulders. “Sitting.”
“Why’d you leave the living room?” Taehyung said. “We were about to watch a movie. Y/n said—”
An involuntary groan slipped past Jungkook’s lips and Taehyung stopped talking instantly.
“What… the hell was that?” Taehyung asked. “Do you not like Y/n?”
Jungkook stayed quiet but Taehyung wasn’t going to leave him alone.
“Do you seriously not like her?” he asked again. “Why? What’s wrong?”
“You never shut up about her,” Jungkook said so quietly that Taehyung almost didn’t hear him. “Whenever we do something, it’s always like Y/n this, Y/n that.”
Taehyung hadn’t realized that he talked about you that much. “Okay. So, tell me to stop talking about her.”
“I did,” Jungkook said, finally raising his eyes to meet Taehyung’s. “You stopped for, like, five minutes and started again. Do you realize that our team lost nearly every match on Overwatch because you—”
“Please don’t make this about Overwatch,” Taehyung stopped him. “I’m sorry if I annoyed you by talking about her all of the time. But you’re seriously upsetting her by leaving the room every time she comes over.”
“Am I not allowed to hang out elsewhere?” Jungkook said nonchalantly. “She’s not my girlfriend, she’s yours. I’m under no obligation to always be around whenever she is.”
This hurt Taehyung for some reason and he needed a moment to recover.
“You’re my best friend,” he told him, then. “And she’s my girlfriend. She gets along with the rest of the guys perfectly but you’re being difficult.”
“I’m not being anything,” Jungkook countered. “And I don’t remember there being a rule that best friends had to get along really well with the other girlfriends.”
“There’s no rule but it would make me happy.”
Jungkook groaned again, forcing Taehyung to sigh.
“Okay. Don’t be friends with Y/n,” he told Jungkook then. “But, please, at least don’t dramatically refuse to be in the same room with her. It’s not cool.”
“And… you would definitely like her if you got to know her,” Taehyung added with a playful smirk. “She’s really good at Overwatch.”
Jungkook squinted at Taehyung. “You’re just saying that to make me like her.”
“No,” Taehyung shook his head. “I’m saying that as a warning.”
“How is that a warning?”
“When you find out how good she is, you’ll want to date her, too,” Taehyung said. “But back off. She’s mine.”
The boys had a thirty-minute break before their next interview and they were planning to explore Tokyo for a little while before coming back. Jungkook, however, was holed up in his hotel room.
“I’m good,” Jungkook told Jimin who came to ask him to come with the rest of them. “I’m going to skype-chat with Y/n.”
“You skype-chatted her this morning,” Jimin said matter-of-factly. “Does she not have anything better to do but talk to you?”
“She’s free from school today,” Jungkook answered, not raising his head from his phone. “It happens rarely and I’m using this as an opportunity to talk to her.”
“Jungkook, you’re already texting her,” Jimin said, pointing at his phone. “And you can text her while you’re outside, too.”
“Yeah, but I want to see her. And it’s only possible on Skype.”
“But we want to see you, too!” Jimin said, raising his voice and making Jungkook finally look up at him. “Seriously, ever since you started dating her, we haven’t even heard anything from you. The only time we see you is during rehearsals and on stage when we’re performing.”
“And that proves that you see me for the majority of time every day,” Jungkook replied. “So, I don’t get the problem.”
“The problem is that she has you wrapped around her finger and you don’t even see it,” Jimin snapped. “You’re adjusting your schedule to fit hers. You’re taking extra flights to see her and then show up to rehearsals jetlagged and exhausted. It’s not good for your health. Does she care about that? No, it doesn’t look like she does, she just—”
“Stop right there, Jimin,” Jungkook said, locking his phone and putting it away to concentrate on this conversation. “I don’t remember you being part of my relationship. And I sure as hell don’t remember you talking to Y/n and asking her what she cared about.”
“Okay, no need to get all pissed off,” Jimin said, suddenly a little intimidated by Jungkook’s angry and protective tone. “I’m just stating the obvious. You’re obviously sacrificing a lot to be with her and she’s not doing much—”
“Have you thought that maybe the reason why she’s not doing much is because she can’t?” Jungkook was shouting now. “She can’t fly out to see me, because, unlike me, she doesn’t have enough money to fly around the world whenever she wants to. And she can’t hang out with me as often as she wants because she has exams almost every day. On top of that, she gets hate for simply being my girlfriend. So, I’m sorry if you don’t like the fact that I’m trying to make this relationship easier for her.”
Jimin stayed quiet for a moment. “I didn’t think about that.”
“Of course not,” Jungkook huffed, taking a deep breath to calm himself down. “I’m sorry for losing my temper. I just wish you understood how scared I am to lose her. This relationship is hard work, for Y/n especially, and it’s even harder when I’m away. But I would never even think about ending it. I love her too much.”
Jimin nodded, no longer having any other comments to add.
“Okay,” he said. “I see. I’m sorry I said those things. Tell Y/n I said hi.”
Okay...weird shit happejed to you throuout yojr life, but has anything happened on Halloween specifically (other than you selling your soul to a demon)
Alright, it’s time for the requested and promised Ouija Board Story™
Listen, before I start this I wanna put a REALLY STRONG trigger warning on it- I really, truly recommend you not read this if you’ve been affected by suicide or get very easily freaked out by thoughts of death and the afterlife. I am not fucking kidding around here, okay? Someone in my family killed themselves over the summer and I’ve been trying so hard to not think about this whole event, because it’s terrifying to imagine anyone I know in this situation. Really think about it before you keep reading, okay? While this is an interesting and cool story I’m posting for Halloween, I don’t wanna get anyone too freaked out. If you think this is gonna mess with you or sit with you, just keep scrolling.
This happened in 2015. My friend Zoe (@commando-rogers) decided to have some friends over for Halloween, because like, who doesn’t want plans on Halloween, right? Also there was Alexa (@starshiprangpr), Patricia (@trishaslats), Liz, and Ian (I don’t know if they have accounts if they do I’ll add them later). I’ve known these guys for years, so it was sure to be a fun night.
Now, like. I’m bored with life. I’m freshly 20 years old. It’s Halloween. I’m dressed like Mabel Pines. I’m ready to fucking party. And we did have, you know, regular, normal fun at first- ate junk food, joked around, stuff like that. Average hangout. But then, a few hours into the night…Zoe pulls out a fucking Ouija Board.
I’m immediately on the other side of the room, tbh. I’m very interested in paranormal stuff, and I was raised Catholic, and I’m also not a dumbass, so I know not to fuck around with Ouija Boards. You just don’t use them, ever! It’s never a good idea! Even if nothing talks to you through it, you’re still opening yourself up for something to happen. But I also knew this was five against one, so I didn’t stand much of a chance complaining. I conceded to watching whatever happens from a safe distance on the couch and not actually touching the board. Lord knows, I insisted, with my luck? Touching the board will get my ass possessed.
The girls seemed to somewhat agree with me on that- Ian was the only person who agreed to use the board with Zoe. Ian’s a very smart, logical guy, you know, like the token genius asshole friend that you love to death even if he gets a little condescending occasionally? Love the guy. But he was pretty sure it was all bs and nothing would happen, versus Zoe’s deep belief in the paranormal, so they made a bit of a weird pair working the board. I remember texting my friend Raychel about what was about to happen, and getting the response “YOU MOTHER FUCKING WHITE PEOPLE FIT ALL THE HORROR MOVIE ARCHTYPES GET YOUR BULLSHIT TOGETHER AND DONT DO THIS”. And I agreed with her, honestly, but I did actually have a strong curiosity to see if anything would happen. Zoe had told me all about her trying to use the board by herself before (bad!!! idea!!!)- she said she never got any words out of the board, but her camera or phone or whatever she was trying to film the session with would always malfunction or die unexpectedly. No one expected what happened though.
Now, before I really start, I wanna say- could this have all been an elaborate hoax by Ian or Zoe? Sure. Absolutely. Believe that if you want- but Zoe was so freaked out and even got all shook when we were going over details the other day, and Ian seemed really rocked, and honestly I can’t think of anything they’d get out of keeping up a ruse on it for two years now, especially when people they’re good friends with were literally crying during this mess, so…I really don’t think this was fake. Like, I want to believe it was fake. As I mentioned in the trigger warning, this has really stuck with me and been bugging me as of late, so if one of them suddenly fessed up that it was a prank? I would fucking jump for joy! But it doesn’t look like that’s the case (otherwise, they’re just, you know, dicks by this point). So, anyway, whether you believe it or not, just know that I am absolutely not lying about anything that happened in this story. I’m recounting everything truthfully.
Okay, so…Ouija Boards have rules, you know? You have to be polite, say hello and goodbye even if nothing speaks to you, you have to keep at least two fingers on the planchette and ‘charge’ the piece, I’m not going over all the guidelines right now. And also, when a living person is manipulating the planchette…Like, you can tell. You can feel it. Zoe and Ian charged the piece, we all said hello, and we waited in silence.
Zoe asked ‘Is there anybody here?’
Nothing happened for a long moment, but then…the planchette slowly started sliding towards ‘YES’.
Ian was trying to look like his eyes weren’t wide, and going ‘Zoe! Zoe are you moving it!’ but Zoe was already having a mild freak out, her voice higher then normal and repeating ‘Holy shit holy shit holy shit!’ (like I said…she’s a deep believer in the paranormal).
When it finally landed on yes, she took a deep breath and tried to seem a bit, I guess, politer. “Um, okay, hi, I’m Zoe? This is Ian and our other friends. What’s your name?”
Patricia made some joke about the name but got shushed.
“Are you…usually in my house?”
“Are you…here for someone?”
We’ve only been at this for a few minutes and there was already that feeling in the air- you know, the one that gets over described every time anyone recounts a paranormal experience? Just a heavy feeling in the air, a twisted feeling in your gut, the feeling that someone is right behind you. Tension was building even though nothing had really happened to warrant it yet.
“Who are you here for, Kevin?”
The planchette starts to slide towards the ‘I’. Cue to five girls yelling “IAN” in high pitched, worried (and some teasing) voices as the boy in question’s eyes are flying out of his head.
It spells out the rest of his name. Zoe asks, “Is there anything you want to say to Ian?”
Me, an asshole who needed to cut some tension before she got sick: “Hello from the other side~~~~~~”.
Pillows were thrown at me.
The board respelled ‘Hello’.
I will literally never forget the awkward forced smile on Ian’s face, or the raised eyebrows, or the way his confused voice cracked when he said, “…Hi, Kevin?”
“How do you know Ian?”
Ian looked at is, giving an insistent whisper of “I don’t know any dead Kevins!”
That had us all stumped for a few moments, before “Do you think maybe like, past lives?”
Zoe asked Kevin if that was right. The planchette flew to the ‘YES’.
“So Ian was your friend in his past life then? Who was he?”
“Evan! So how did Evan die?”
“Oh. Were you, like…with him?”
“How did you die then?”
Nothing happened for a few minutes, the piece didn’t move an inch. They recharged it and Zoe tried again. “Was that a rude question? Do you not want to talk about that?”
“I’m so sorry, we’re not trying to be rude.”
We started brainstorming for better questions (Zoe or Ian had to be the ones to formally ask, though).
“Where were you from?”
“And what year did Ian die?”
(I’m going to admit here that I can’t remember the exact year, it was definitely around the 1920′s or 30′s, though. We all thought it was a bit odd that the death year wasn’t exactly close to Ian’s birth year)
“What year did you die?”
He spelled out the same year.
“Oh? Um…how long after Evan did you die?”
A long pause, and then: …W…E…E…K.
“But you didn’t reincarnate like Ian?”
The board fell silent again. They recharged. “Sorry. Um…Why did you decide to find Ian in his current life?”
Before we could all start flat out cooing at that, it kept going, spelling out ‘…S…A…F…E.’
“Oh, so you’re his guardian angel?”
No response. “Okay…How did you know Ian was Evan?”
(cue everyone going ‘awwwww’) “You have the same eyes when you reincarnate?”
“So…what were you doing before Ian was born?”
It fell silent again.
“Kevin? We’re sorry?”
“What did you mean by ‘close’ to a guardian angel? Are you not an angel?”
“So…what are you, then?”
“Okay, sorry. Um…Is anyone else here with you?”
“Who’s here with you?”
WHEN I TELL YOU WE SCREAMED. No one was Goddamn prepared for an answer like that! We’re just a bunch of asshole teens! None of us actually wanna die! What the fuck!!!!
While we were all busy freaking out and trying to rationalize, Zoe managed to choke out a “Is…Death here for someone in this room?!”
“Is Death going to effect someone in this room?”
That got us to all calm down slightly, but….We were literally just told DEATH IS AMONG US. We were still freaking out, and were trying to figure out what Kevin meant by that. After a while though, something clicked.
“Kevin? Does Death just have to be with you in order for you to talk to us?”
THIS LITERAL GODDAMN GHOST GOT PISSED OFF AT US.
AND SAW THE OPPORTUNITY TO FUCKING TROLL A BUNCH OF SHITTY TEENS.
AND HE GODDAMN TOOK IT.
I HAVE NEVER RESPECTED A MAN MORE IN MY ENTIRE LIFE. I STILL CANNOT GET OVER THIS. Eternal hats off to you, Kevin, oh my God.
We all slowly recovered from that scare, a little more wary about pissing Kevin off but also…more curious, because there was a lot to ask and a lot he seemed to want to hide.
“Um…so is Heaven and all that real?”
A very, very long pause. Zoe and Ian almost went to recharge and try a new question, but then it slowly slide over to ‘YES’.
The pause seemed to make it clear it wasn’t something he really wanted to go into. But, “So…what’s Heaven like?”
A long pause. …D…R…E…A…M.
“…And…is hell real?”
The planchette immediately flew around the board, spelling: …N…I…G…H…T…M…A…R…E.
None of us really knew what to say about that.
We asked a few more questions, but Kevin still didn’t want to talk about himself that much. He liked talking about Evan, though (After this night, we had a running joke for a little bit about ‘cant believe we’re shipping Ian with a ghost’. There were some ‘implications’ I remember we all picked up on) But he still avoided questions pertaining to him. Zoe had a very worried look on her face around this point. She had been very curious about Kevin’s unwillingness to talk about certain topics, and things were slowly piecing together in her mind. She tried once more to get answers. “Kevin, I’m really sorry for asking, but I just- Um, I’m sorry, but did you kill yourself?”
There was a bright flash in the room.
That made everyone jump and look around- we had caught it in the window, but we couldn’t see anyone outside or around the house. Zoe’s parents and brother were upstairs. We couldn’t find anything that would have caused it. It was just a flash, but we were completely alone and with the timing of the question…Well, everyone was unsettled about it.
We eventually settled back down and recharged the board. “Kevin?…Did you?”
Slowly, it slid towards the ‘YES’.
“…Because Evan died?”
“And…that meant you couldn’t be reborn?”
It stayed still.
I had a very sick, sinking feeling in my stomach at this- I’d gone to Catholic school for 9 years, and I knew suicide is classified as a sin. In the more modern times the Church stopped being awful about it, always prayed for suicide victims and didn’t deny them burials anymore and always told the families the same spiel about being in God’s hands, but…It was still considered a mortal sin none the less. I told the group as much.
Zoe said in a small voice “Were you…in hell?”
A long pause. ‘YES’.
“Um…for how long?”
“That’s why you’re not a guardian angel then? Because you were in hell?”
“How did you…get out to find Ian?”
We’d all been on edge with the turn of the conversation, but that. Fuck. I nearly lost it at that. Zoe and the other’s asked who Lilith was, because she’s not common curriculum, but, well, short story answer- She was created before Eve, but she didn’t want to submit to Adam, so she was tortured to give birth to a dead child every day, but other accounts and stories of her do go on to say she became a lead torturer/essentially queen of hell. Fucking.
“Lilith let you out of hell?”
“Why? Like what for?”
“You don’t….You have no idea why they let you out?”
“So you found Ian and became his…Guardian demon? Is that a thing?”
“Does everyone have one?”
“Do I have an angel or a demon?”
Zoe, even though she’d been talking to a seemingly reasonable demon all night, looked a little worried about that. Back then we had a running joke in our friend group that Zoe was Satan, and well “Um, do I have a demon because of all the jokes I make?”
“Um??? I’m sorry? Fuck.”
We were all a little #shook but trying not to laugh at the look on her face at that. She went on to check with Kevin that having a demon instead of an angel didn’t actually mean anything bad, she wasn’t in like, undead trouble or anything, the only difference is the demons are usually working off a debt or something versus the angels not…But when Zoe and I were going over this the other day, she did suddenly realize that she hasn’t made a single Satan joke since this night and she’d ‘feel weird if one was made now’. Make of that what you will.
He said me and the other girls all had Angels (Shoutout to you, Sarah! I’m still kicking at 22!).
Patricia, however, wanted some proof that ‘Helena’ existed and was there for her. Which is reasonable. She asked if her angel wanted to tell her anything. There was a brief pause before the planchette spelled out: …E…R…I…K…I…S…G…O…O…D.
We were y e l l i n g. Listen, I know that’s clearly not going to be convincing evidence to a bunch of random people reading this, but basically Erik had been dating her best friend at the time and she was just…Very worried about the relationship. Very worried. For many reasons.‘Erik is good’ is exactly the thing she needed to hear from a guardian angel. (And, spoiler alert from two years in the future: he IS good!) But like. She teared up hearing that. It was nice.
We tried to stray into lighter topics than the whole hell thing, because, again, fuck- I remember thinking to myself at some point ‘this poor guy is after-living the plot to a really great book’- but none of us wanted to upset him again and none of us wanted to get anymore upset ourselves. Liz had already had a panic attack by this point (the hell talk obviously got to her), and she was actively trying not to sob as she asked if she could speak to any passed on family members. We were told pretty much everyone gets reborn and there was no one else around except for Kevin and the other guardians (and good ole’ Death, of course).
Ian’s got a big birthmark on his face, right? It’s adorable and we often made a lot of jokes about it (fondly), so at some point, while trying to stay on lighter topics, someone asked ‘Did Ian have that birthmark in his past life?‘
Now, I don’t know if you’ve ever heard about that theory that birthmarks have to do with how you died in a past life, but….shook. We all started trying to figure out if we had any meaningful birthmarks. Zoe got further freaked out because she has one on her wrist and one on her temple. What the fuck did she theoretically get up to in a past life?
That was the last really substantial thing he gave us, all the other questions tapered off so we could try to pretend we hadn’t learned we were talking to a demon who went to hell for no seemingly good reason and also no one would be able to talk to dead loved ones. After we finally came to a loss for questions, and people started having to leave- we just did the proper ‘goodbye’ and everything, followed all the rules, put the board away and split up. Liz was still drying her eyes when she left. Ian was mumbling to himself and swearing up and down he didn’t fake all that. Zoe was frantically researching the information we received and kept repeating that that was the craziest fucking thing that ever happened to her (and she actually did find some thread about guardian demons). We talked about it for a bit before I went home.
And, it’s like…Again, this could be nothing. But it doesn’t feel like nothing. It feels like a shifted view because…Even if it’s not real, it’s still an outlook on the afterlife that I had never considered before, and it’s…horrifying? This whole night I’ve just never been able to shake, I can’t get it out of my head, because if it is true? Fuck. If it’s true, fuck. The whole drive home I couldn’t help but think ‘ignorance is bliss’.
It just left me with so many questions, questions I literally don’t think you can get the answers to until it’s too late, and…I don’t know what to do about that.
Summary: You and Bucky are friends for a long time, but lately you start to develop romantic feelings for him. One day one of Tony’s parties everything changes but maybe not the way you wanted or expected.
You never felt so inadequate in your life, when you left the house for one of Tony’s parties . You felt beautiful in your black strapless dress and high heels. But as soon as you arrived atthe party, you felt your heart being shattered.
You see Bucky with a beautiful blonde in his arms , when he sees you he comesin your direction kissing your cheek and pulling you to a hug “Don’t you look beautiful?” He says staring into your eyes, you smile at him with your best fake smile“Well I tried, apparently not as hard as your date.” You say sounding bitter even if that is the last thing you wanted to be or sound like.
genre: smut (this is really dirty and self-indulgent im so sorry) ; domestic AU
summary: you’re best friends & roommates with changkyun; as close as two people could be without being married or related. but one night, you overhear something that changes your relationship with him forever. question is: is it for the better?
If he moves wayyyyyyyy too fast. He’ll be the type to send dick pics way too soon. He’ll be moving you guys to the bedroom before you feel like either of you know each other. Like as if he'd be happy having sex with ANYONE in that moment.
He won’t put forth any effort. The king of “netflix and chill.”
The king of snapchatting you photos of himself 24/7. You’ll be flattered by how much attention he gives you on social networks sites but then when you guys hang out in real life, his eyes are still glued to his phone, probably snapchatting some other girls. Sorry, hun. Delete his snapchat, kik, instagram, twitter, tumblr and Facebook account and find a better Gemini. They're out there, trust me.
He'll act like y'all are dating, but don't be fooled. When you want to take the relationship to the next step or want him to be accountable for his actions, he might emotionally manipulate you by whining about how his mom never loved him or how life is so rough for him. He's the king of playing the victim role. Tell him to grow up and get outta there.
He talks about himself. Even when you're talking, he still somehow is talking about himself. He'll be uninterested when you talk about your hobbies. He'll basically be a narcissist. It's hard not to fall for him because he's handsome and so damn cultured and interesting, but believe me, he's not worth it if he doesn't try to get to know you. You shouldn't have to force him to get to know you.
Tells you how you should look and behave And yet HE’S the hotmess. If you see his room is a mess or if he's not ambitious, RUN. The thing to notice here is that he'll act like you should be grateful for his "helpful" tips, but he'll get pissed if you tell him how he can get his shit together. He dosent want to get his shit together. He just wants to stay a nervous wreck. He probably has a drinking or drug problem.
He’ll be romantic at first and tell you all the right things. But if you see him a few weeks later talking to some girl and you get a feeling he’s flirting without disclosing he's in a relationship, HE IS. He’ll be fickle as fuck too. If he keeps rescheduling dates without a justifiable excuse, FUCKBOI ALERT.
He might pull the wounded-puppy card like a cancer man. He’ll try to seduce you but before you get under the sheets with this sneaky scorpion, ask him about his hobbies. Scorpios are artistic but a fuckboi-scorpio probably has poetry, drawings or music about his ex that he isn’t over and will somehow find it flattering to show it to you. Tell him his poetry is nice AND THEN GET THE FUCK OUTTA THERE.
His tinder says “looking for fun”. He’s aloof af. He may take you out with him to that one party or concert, but you have a feeling you’re not really WITH him. You’re just a piece of furniture that he’ll lean on every now and then. Oh and he probably won’t introduce you to his friends. You'll just be standing awkwardly.
If he tells you he doesn’t want kids until his late 40′s. You may think ‘well that's fine, I don't want to get married anytime soon- we can just date until then’ But what he’s really saying is he’ll just call you up as a booty call when he’s not too tired after work OR if none of his gaming friends are available. He may call you his girlfriend and act like a gentlemen. But if you two NEVER go on dates that don't involve getting groped at the movies or on his couch HE’S A FUCKBOI. Don't be hypnotized bc he has a car and a fancy job. His excuses for not seeing you might be something like,“I’m really stressed and busy with work… " but if he wanted to have you in his life, he would make the time.
He’ll be like a sag- aloof and carefree. Very charming. And awkward. He's that guy who seems mysterious because he'll be distant sometimes. He'll be the opposite of a Leo and get to know you but he has no plans of actual commitment, he's just curious and find you interesting. Sadly, a fuckboi aqua has a short attention span. He probally won’t follow through with plans like the other air signs.
He’ll whine about his previous broken relationships and read you his sad poetry like the cancer and pisces. Except HE won’t make the first move. He’ll probablly get drunk and hope you’ll be the one to make a move.
Not all guys are fuckbois. So I’m not saying every guy will be like this. These are just the red flags to look out for. BE WARNED AND GOD BLESS
Say it with me “I am better than a fuckboi”. Say it until you believe it.

Basically we got cheated out of some quality content right there wtf JKR
Do you take prompt? What about Stiles having a secret crush on Derek but when saw him, taking care Scott's son, he fell in love.
I’m not much of a kid fic person, so this took me a while, but I tried. Hopefully it’s kind of what you were angling for!
“Do you think I’m ready for fatherhood?” Stiles asks, trying to keep the panic out of his voice. He’s not freaking out about this. He’s not.
Boyd says flatly, “Stilinski, you’re twenty-one years old. You’re supposed to know how to use a condom by now.“
Stiles’ hand spasms and he accidentally squirts a huge glob of ketchup on his mound of curly fries. Fuck. He has the ideal ketchup-to-curly-fry ratio down to a science, and this is not it. “No, absolutely not what I meant. It’s just. Did you know Derek had a kid?”
Boyd meditatively takes a bite of his burger. “No. But the nice thing about Derek is that he doesn’t go in for personal talk.”
Stiles shoots him a weird look. Of course Boyd would think that was nice. Stiles, though, has been trying to break down Derek’s walls even just a little bit for months now—sitting with him in class, sharing his notes, studying with him in the library and getting late-night waffles together afterwards, little by little pulling Derek out of his shell. He’d thought he was getting somewhere, but obviously not, not if Derek failed to mention this kid even existed.
Which he does. Stiles knows, because he can see him right now, over by Prof. Martin’s pool. Apparently his name is Jamie.
Supercorp prompt: "Actually, I've never been trick-or-treating"
So I had been saving this prompt for a bit closer to halloween, so here it finally is! Also Kara and Lena aren’t yet officially a couple for this fic but are on their way lol
“Actually I’ve never been trick or treating.”
They were sitting on the couch in Lena’s office eating donuts again. Kara had been giving Lena an enthusiastic history of halloween in the Danvers household before she asked Lena what she did for halloween growing up.
“You’ve never been trick or treating?” Kara’s mouth hung open in disbelief as Lena shook her head breaking off another piece of donut.
“I mean I probably went as a baby with my mother before she died. But I don’t remember. And Lillian never had time for those sorts of things.” Lena shrugged as she put the piece of donut in her mouth.
“What about boarding school?”
“Oh we had costume parties.” Lena smiled deviously at the memory. “But we never went trick or treating.”
“We’ve got to change that.”
“What?” Lena coughed against the food in her mouth taking a moment before she stared at Kara. “I don’t think that’s really necessary…”
“Of course it is!” Kara was already shrugging into her coat. “Halloween is something every kid should experience.” Kara echoed Alex all those years ago when she had just got to earth. It turned out that Alex was right about how much she’d love halloween. A time when everyone was dressed up as something not of this world. Plus Alex had dressed her up as a ghost the first year and she floated around, they were so pleased with themselves that no body could figure out how they had done the effects.
“I am not a child.” Lena reminded Kara, bringing her back from her memory to where she stood in front of Lena in her coat, purse tucked under her arm. “Where are you going?”
“You’re not a child, but its not too late to still go. And we are going costume shopping.”
“Please.” Kara smiled, weakening all Lena’s fight as she held open the trench coat she had grabbed off Lena’s coat rack.
Alright… there’s gonna be a part 5. But, let’s do this! Part four of the ‘Confessions’ series!! Hope you guys like this one as much as you’ve liked the others. Let me know! It’s a touch happier … or is iiiiit?
Harry groaned as he awoke, the sunlight poured down on him and he felt a layer of sweat on his forehead from the light as well the body pressed into his. When he lifted his head, finding that it rested on the back of his couch instead of his pillow, he had a moment of confusion before he remembered. You being curled up in his arms, still fast asleep against his chest, also helped jog his memory.
It took him a moment to realize what had woken him but he quickly realized it was his phone buzzing in his pocket. He knew there was no way to pull it out and answer it without waking you so he let it continue until finally it stopped. Harry sighed, taking in a deep breath as he rest his head on top of yours, his cheek resting against your soft and sweet smelling hair.
He was just starting to drift off back into his nap when his phone began going off again. Apparently whoever was calling him really needed to have a chat. He opened his eyes and sighed, wondering how he could possibly do this. He didn’t want to wake you but it seemed whoever was ringing him wasn’t going to give up. He shifted a bit to the side until eventually he was able to slide out from under you, helping you lay back gently onto the couch, thankfully still fast asleep.
He didn’t even care about the phone call in that moment as he stared down at your slumbering and peaceful face. All he had seen the last while was pain and heartache but now it was all gone, just for a little bit at least. He couldn’t help as he leaned down and pressed a gentle kiss to the corner of your mouth, bringing a large and ringed hand up to brush a few hairs off of your face. The moment was then ruined by the phone once again going off. He knew he had no choice now but to take it.
When he left the living room, heading down the hall towards the kitchen, he pulled the phone out and felt his heart rate increase when he saw his mom’s name and face flashing across his screen. Why would she be calling him so many times? He hadn’t told her what was going on, he told his sister as he had gone to stay with her the night he had told you but she had sworn not to tell their mother.
“Mum?” He questioned, answering the phone finally, as he opens the back door in the kitchen and steps out onto the back porch. “Is everythin’ alrigh’?” He questions as he leans against the railing of the deck, running his fingers over the hard wood.
“You tell me, Harry.” Came her reply. No hello, no greeting, no asking how he was. Yeah, Harry knew in that moment that she had definitely found out.
“Did Gem tell you, then?” He mutters, hoping it was from his sister and not that the media had gotten wind of the situation. Even with both parties involved having signed an NDA, which he hated having to see your face as you had to agree not to talk about how he knocked up a girl, these things could still get out and he dreaded the moment that they did.
“She shouldn’ have had to, Harold, why haven’ you come to me abou’ all of this?” Harry sighed, hanging his head, unsure of how to answer. The truth was that he was afraid of his mothers disappointment. He felt he had made her so proud up until now and what a way to ruin that than with a situation like this. He had already broken the heart of one important girl in his life, he couldn’t handle doing it to another one just yet. “So it’s true then? You got a girl pregnant?”
“Yes, mum.” Harry mutters, running a hand through his hair before his fingers begin to play nervously with his bottom lip. “Well, I go soon to have a paternity tes’ done, bu’ as of now we are almos’ certain tha’ I am the fathe’,”
“And Y/N left you?” Harry hadn’t spoken to his sister since before he left for LA so of course she wouldn’t know that you had for some reason agreed to join him on this little adventure. “The one girl who could handle your lifestyle, put up with everything she’s had to, and you go and do this to her.” That was exactly what Harry hadn’t wanted said to him. He already knew all of this but to hear that disappointment, the disbelief, in his own mothers voice hurt almost as much as he imagined it would.
“She’s here in Los Angeles with me.” His mother was silent on the other end. “We broke up, yes, bu’ she knew…” He sighs. “I don’ deserve her to, bu’ she came to help me through this.” He hears his mothers answering sigh as she took this information in.
“Wha’ are you going to do, Harry?” Her voice was full of concern now. She had gotten out her reprimanding and now it was time to make sure her son was okay. No matter how upset with him she was, he was her son and she would support him through this.
“I don’ know, mum.” Harry had done so well at keeping the tears at bay but in that moment he broke again. The tears fell a few at a time down his stubble covered cheeks, his green eyes shining as he hung his head, resting it on his arm that was supporting his weight on the rail of the deck.
“Oh, Harry.” She sighed, picking up on the brokenness of her son on the other end of the phone.
“I can’ do this,” He turns and takes a few steps over to a deck chair, falling into it as he wipes at his wet cheeks and stares off across his green lawn before he closes his eyes, resting his head against he back of the chair. “Wha’ do I do, mum?” His voice was so quiet as he begged him mother to help him through this even though he knew that she couldn’t. No one could.
“We will take this one day at a time, love, okay?” She offers, her voice calm and reassuring. “I’ll fly out there as soon as I can.”
“No, mum, you don’t have to do tha’.” Though as soon as she had offered, Harry knew he needed her to. He needed that motherly hug, that parental guidance as he began to navigate his own way into potential parenthood.
“Too late, I’m lookin’ at flights now.” She argued and Harry knew it was a lost cause - not that he would fight hard for her not to come anyway. “You and Y/N need someone to help you through this.”
“Thank you.” Harry didn’t even have to say it as more than a whisper but Anne picked up on his gratitude fully anyway.
“How is she doing? Y/N?” As Harry thought back to you, fast asleep and peaceful inside, he had to bite at his lower lip to keep the tears from falling again but when he opened his mouth to speak nothing but a jumbled mess of words came out.
“She’s.. I.. i-i mean..” And then a small, quiet sob fell from his mouth and Anne sighed. “She’s never goin’ to forgive me, mum. I’ve lost her.” He squeezes the bridge of his nose between his fingers as he looks down at his feet, more tears leaking down his damp cheeks. He didn’t even try to wipe them away now. It would be pointless as his eyes were burning with fresh tears, surely not stopping any time soon.
“Harry, love, true love always finds a way.”
“Mum, this isn’t some romantic movie. This isn’t going to jus’ resolve itself and everyone is goin’ to be all happy in the end. I fucked up, cheated on the most importan’ person in my life, lied to her about i’ and only told her when I had to because I found ou’ I had gotten the girl I cheated with pregnant. Would you forgive Robin if he did tha’?” Anne was silent and Harry knew it was because she knew he was right. “No matter how much her and I love each other, this is i’. She won’ forgive me and I’m tryin’ to come to terms with tha’.” But with the tears still falling down his cheeks he knew he was no where near close, if he ever really would be.
Just then, Harry turns as the back door opens and out you step. You had woken moments before to find Harry gone but heard his voice outside and came to see where he had gone off to. You had heard what he’d just said and he watches you as you walk across the deck and comes to take a seat beside him.
“Your mum?” You ask, gesturing towards the phone. Harry gives a nod, simply watching you, trying to see if you were going to say anything more but you don’t so he looks away and sighs.
“I should probably go, bu’ le’ me know when you’ll be here and I’ll le’ you know about the paternity test.” He says to his mother who takes a deep breath on the other end of the line, still full of concern for her son but now that she had heard your voice on the other line knew he would talk no more about the situation.
“I will, Harry. I love you.” Harry couldn’t help but smile. Even so much as his mothers voice made him feel better, knowing that she still loved him after he fucked up like this helped a lot. He only wished he could hear those three words from the girl sitting beside him.
“Love you too, mum.”
“Give Y/N my love as well. Bye now, darling.” With that, his mother ends the call and Harry sighs as he puts the phone down on the seat behind him and looks over at you, finally wiping at his damp cheeks.
“Mum sends her love.” He mutters. You can’t help but smile, biting at your lower lip. “She’s comin’ out here. Gemma told her abou’ all of this and she said she wan’s to help up through this.”
“That is very sweet of her.” And not shocking at all. Anne had always been the best support system you and Harry had in your relationship. She would listen to you both, helped you through tough times and much to your benefit told Harry when he was being an idiot. “You hungry?” You eventually ask after it was silent between the two of you for a few moments.
“Always.” He answers, looking over at you as you smile a bit. He returns it, one corner of his mouth upturned in a genuine grin.
“Let’s go out to eat. Somewhere nice where we can just enjoy some good food, strong drinks and .. nice company.” You lean over, nudging him a bit with your shoulder.
“Sounds much bette’ than sittin’ here all nigh’ bein’ sad.” Harry responds and you agreed, which is why you had suggested it. There was only so much more silence you could take before it drove you more insane than you already felt.
“Hear anything about going to do the test?” You wonder later in the night after a nice meal at a restaurant the two of you had gone to many times on many dates in the past. It had exactly what you wanted, good food, good drinks and great privacy.
“He sen’ me an email while we were eatin’.” Harry responds, shrugging a bit as he drives back towards the house with you in the passenger seat beside him. “It’s tomorrow mornin’.”
“Why didn’t you tell me?” You questioned but thinking about it, you knew why. The two of you had been having such a lovely evening. He didn’t want to ruin it by talking about anymore of this baby stuff. The two of you had shared jokes, laughs, and stories. Even 4 years together you could always find stories to tell one another and Harry was happy to see that they could still do that. Maybe there was hope after all.
“Didn’ wanna bring it up.” He answered, focusing on the road before him. “You don’ have to go with me. It is gonna jus’ be quick, he said.”
“Are you sure? I don’t mind.” You would prefer not to, of course, but you had come to support Harry so you would go if he needed you to.
“I’ll be alrigh’.” He smiles over at you and reaches over, resting his large hand on your leg for a second. When he goes to pull away, you grab for his fingers, tangling yours with his. You just needed to feel his skin on yours, those long fingers between yours, their warmth, the coolness of his rings. He looks over at you, a small crease between his brows but he gives you a smile, mimicking the one you were giving him.
“What do you they even do for this test? I mean.. what kind of test is it?” You had been wondering that ever since the lawyer had brought it up in the meeting earlier this morning. How did they go about testing if Harry’s DNA matched this baby’s when it was still in that woman’s stomach?
“He sent me a bi’ of information on it bu’ it seems like they jus’ take my blood and her’s. The baby’s DNA is in her blood now and so they can see test it if it matches mine.” He explains. “It’s all very scientific.” You give a small laugh but were stunned by this information. You had no idea paternity could be tested like that. It was a bit fascinating, actually.
“So you don’t want me to come hold your hand while they stick you with a needle.” You jokingly ask, pinching the back of his hand a bit. He laughs and shakes his head. He then has to release your hand as he needs two hands to pull into the driveway, pulling into the garage.
“I think I’ll manage just fine.” You give him a grin before sliding from the vehicle and the two of you head inside. “Oh, my mum jus’ sent me her fligh’ details.” He tells you as the two of you go to collapse on the couch and he pulls out his phone. “She ge’s here tomorrow nigh’.”
“Oh, good. It will be nice to have her here.” You sigh then, pulling your legs up to your chest and bite at your lip.
“You alrigh’?” Harry questions, tossing his phone down beside him and leans back against the couch, looking over at you. You look over at him, resting your cheek against your knees.
“I just feel tired, no matter how much I sleep. I feel like I just got done running a marathon. I could sleep for like a year.” Just to add on to your words, a yawn manages to escape your lips. Harry gives a small laugh, taking in how adorable you were. He resisted the urge to wrap his arms around you and cuddle you.
“You can go take another nap. Don’ le’ me stop you.” He gestures towards the hallway but you smile and shake your head, uncurling your legs and you let out a sigh. The room fell silent then, neither of you saying anything, just staring at the wall in front of you both.
Your heart pounded in your chest as you thought about how close he was to you, and for some reason in that moment you felt the urge to kiss him. You missed the feel of his lips on yours, the way his body surrounded you, the feel of his touch - gentle and warm. It had been so hard to be so close to him the last few days, no matter how mad at him, or how hurt and heartbroken you were, there had always been that draw towards the man beside you and it was back in full force in that moment.
“Hey, Harry?” You end up saying, not looking over at him, continuing to keep your eyes fixed on the wall but you see out of the corner of your eye as he looks over at you.
“Yes, love?” He questions, curious at what you were about to say. He was picking up slightly on your anxiousness and wondered what it all of a sudden could be about when things had been fine just a second beforehand. But you didn’t know what to say. You couldn’t get any words out though. So, you decide to shut off your brain from thinking logically, you instead just gave in to the feelings coursing through you and ignored the way your head was screaming at you.
You instead listened to your heart in that moment, the part of your heart that adored the man beside you, that was completely in love with him and leaned over quickly, not giving yourself enough time to back out and pressed your lips to his.
He gasps a bit against your lips but quickly kisses you back, his fingers coming up to tangle in your hair. You rest a hand on his cheek, the other on his chest as you lean into his chest. He turns towards you a bit more, bringing his other hand up to your waist, pulling you a bit closer. The feel of his lips on yours, the pressure they left on you, the buzzing in your chest, you felt alive for the first time in weeks and for once weren’t thinking about the entire situation. In that moment the baby didn’t matter, the cheating didn’t matter. You loved this man, you didn’t forgive him, but both of you were so emotionally unstable right now, you needed this.
You soon pull away from him, both of you breathing deeply. Harry was feeling this pang in his chest, butterflies in his stomach, even. He was feeling the best he had in so long, he missed your touch, your kiss, so badly and here they were again, back on his. He didn’t know what that meant but as he pulled you back in for another kiss, he just didn’t care. This could be your last kiss ever and he would be okay with how perfect it was. Nothing ever gave him that happiness, that soaring feeling, that sense of completeness like your kiss.
“I love you.” You pull back and whisper, looking into those green eyes of his that you loved so much. You just had to say it, even if it was just for one last time.
“I love you, too, sweetheart.” Harry gave you a small smile. He knew this most likely didn’t mean the two of you were okay again, he knew you were far from that, but he wasn’t going to complain about your sudden affection towards him. He would take this over crying and arguing any day. You give him one last smile before pulling back completely.
“I’m going to go take a bath and then probably get in bed, maybe read a little and call it an early night.” You tell him, pushing your fingers through your hair.
“Want some company?” Harry offers, completely joking though would of course do it if you were up for it but you laugh and smack playfully at his chest. “Goodnight, love.” He reaches over, pressing a gentle kiss to your temple.
“Good luck tomorrow morning, don’t let them hurt you too much with that needle.” You say as you stand up, making your way across the room.
“I’ll try.” You both exchange grins before you leave the room. That night, later, as you lay awake all you kept thinking about was the feel of his lips on yours once more. And for the first time in weeks, none of all this mess mattered and you finally were able to fall asleep with a smile on your face.
You studied yourself in the bathroom mirror intently. You still looked the same.
Same (E/C) eyes, same (H/C) hair. But you weren’t the same, not after what had happened over the summer.
After that summer, nothing could ever be the same.
The girl in the mirror was you, but you had no idea who that was. On July 3rd of this year, your mother had told you a closely guarded secret about the circumstances surrounding your birth, the reason your mom had left riverdale, and who your father really was. She felt you finally needed to learn the truth.
You were a Blossom…well, sort of.
When Cheryl and Jason’s mother was pregnant with the twins, their Father, Clifford Blossom, had developed a wandering eye…and it had wandered straight to your mother. They had been together 2 months before your mother had found out she was pregnant.
So, your father had taken immediate action. He had paid your mother two hundred thousand to take you and herself far away and to keep her mouth shut. But when your Grandmother got sick, all bets were off.
So your Mother had sat you down and told you everything. Including that you were moving back to Riverdale within the week, a town you had both left behind you, and for good reason.
The next day, Jason Blossom had gone missing.
- - - Nearly 3 months later and here you were, getting ready for your first day of school at Riverdale High. It was terrifying having this huge secret weighing you down, especially when your newly discovered half sister went to your school.
You ruffled a shaky hand through your hair and walked out of the bathroom. The last thing you needed was added attention from being late on day one.
You left your house and stepped out into the warm September air.
You walked towards the school, the slight breeze making the residual summer heat a little more bearable.
When you got to the high school, it was swarming with teens. Each one in their own little world, greeting friends they haven’t seen in months with warm smiles and thankfully, ignoring you.
You wandered in to the school caught up in your thoughts and anxieties, before running smack into a blonde girl, her hair pulled back into a tight ponytail.
You lost your balance and went tumbling, taking the blonde girl with you. You hit the ground with a thud and she landed next to you right after. Face flushed red in embarrassment, you jumped up and started apologizing rapidly “Oh crap are you okay? I’m so sorry!“
The girl just waved a hand, dismissing your frantic apologies, “It’s fine, I’m alright. Don’t worry about it.“
Even with her reassurances, you still stuck out a hand to help her up, which she took and got up on her feet. You knew you had to be somewhere, but you still felt kinda awful.
"Hey, are you new?” the girl was looking at you with curiosity.
You shrugged, “Yeah I guess I am. My names (Y/N) (L/N)”
The blondes face instantly lit up in recognition, “I’m Betty Cooper, your peer mentor!” Betty gave you a warm smile, which you hesitantly returned “Guess it’s a good thing I ran into you then, huh?” you laughed nervously.
Betty nodded at you with a smile. “I guess it is. Anyways, now that I have you, just follow me. I’m also mentoring another new student named Veronica Lodge.”
You knew that name, everyone did. Her father had been in the news for months, but you decided to keep your mouth shut. It wasn’t any of your business who Veronica’s father was or what he had done. You hoped the sentiment would be a two way street.
You caught up to a raven haired girl at the office. Her and Betty exchanged pleasantries. You didn’t really listen to the small talk but you figured this was Veronica.
Betty and Veronica started walking. You quickly caught up and walked alongside them.
"Soooo…I usually start off my tours with a little history and context” Betty began, “Riverdale High first opened its doors in 1941 and–”
Veronica cut Betty off mid sentence. “And hasn’t been redecorated since, apparently. Honestly, I feel like I’m wandering through the lost epilogue of our town.” you smiled at Veronica’s comment. The school seriously did have a ‘vintage’ sort of air.
Veronica was talking again, “So whats the social scene here like? Any nightclubs?”
Before Betty could answer, a new guy with brown hair and a green sweater came up beside you, before moving in front, walking backwards to be face to face with the 3 of you. “A strip club called the Ho Zone, and a tragic gay bar called Innuendo.” Your lips quirked up at the edges at the ridiculous club names. Green sweater continued his list of social activities.
“Friday nights, football games. And then tailgate parties at the mal-mart parking lot. Saturday night is movie night, regardless of whats playing at the Bijou. And you better get there early because we don’t have reserved seating in Riverdale. And Sunday nights? Thank GOD for HBO.”
Betty smiled as the boy wrapped a friendly arm around her shoulder, “Veronica lodge, (Y/N) (L/N), Kevin Keller. Veronica and (Y/N) are new here, Kevin is–” Betty started to introduce the three of you but was once again cut off by Veronica, “Gay. Thank god. Let’s be best friends.” She stuck a hand out for him to shake.
You gave him a smile and a polite “Hello” but Kevin’s attention was on Veronica. Kevin took her hand and gave it a quick shake, before leaning in conspiratorially.
“Is it true what they say about your dad?” he said in a semi hushed tone. Betty shot him a warning glare and you inhaled a sharp breath. But Veronica just took it in stride, a noticeably more guarded expression on her face.
“That he’s the devil incarnate?…I stand by my father.“
She crossed her arms and gave Betty a pointed look, "Does everyone here know?” Betty and Kevin were silent, refusing to meet her gaze. “Judging by the looks you’ve been getting? I think so.” You blurted out before you could stop yourself.
Veronica gave an annoyed tight lipped smile, “Wonderful. Ten minutes in and I’m already the blue jasmine of riverdale high.”
Veronica stormed off and Betty gave Kevin another pointed look. Kevin shrugged and shook his head. "What?” Kevin asked, but instead of answering, Betty just followed Veronica. You followed Betty, Kevin close behind.
By the time you had caught up to Betty, she and Veronica were already back to chatting about Riverdale Highs social calendar. So you just fell into step beside them.
“So there’s everything Kevin already told you and- oh, of course, there’s the back to school semi-formal dance this weekend–” Betty was yet again cut off by Veronica who grabbed her arm and stopped Betty mid stride with a little gasp of excitement. “There’s the hottie you were with last night. The red-headed Ansel Elgort.”
You leaned over to Kevin “If the boys all look like that, I’m going to love Riverdale.” You joked, Kevin responded with an amused snort.
Before you could continue your jokes about the attractive Riverdale male populace, Veronica was talking again. “Is he your boyfriend?” You were pretty sure the question was aimed at Betty but Kevin answered too,
“No we’re just friends” was Betty’s answer and "No, he’s straight.” was Kevins. The three of you looked at Kevin, smiling in amusement at the mix up.
Veronica had an intrigued smile on her face as she watched Archie, “In that case, mind putting in a word? I’ve tried every flavour of boy but orange.”
By the look on Betty’s face you immediately knew that was a touchy subject.
“Actually, to clarify, Betty and Archie aren’t dating, but they are endgame.” Kevin informed Veronica, causing her to immediately switch gears and give Betty a matter-of-fact look. “You should ask him to the semi-formal then.”
“She should, but I heard it might be getting cancelled, because of what happened to Jason. They’re going to tell us at the assembly."
Your breath caught at Jason’s name, a bit of paranoia gripping at you. Did he know? There was no way he knew, nobody did. "Who’s Jason?” you rushed out in a slightly too high tone. You figured asking who he was would let you play dumb about the Blossom family as a whole. Veronica added on, “and what happened to him?"
Betty and Kevin shared an awkward silent look, their mouths open like they were looking for the right words.
Betty was quiet as Kevin explained the July 4th incident, You knew already. You had googled the Blossoms two days after your mother had told you the truth of who you were. Just in time for you to learn of the fatal accident that took the life of an older brother you would never meet.
After Kevin was finished explaining, everyone was quiet as you walked to the gym to attend the assembly. A heavy silence hung over the four of you. When you reached the gym you stopped dead.
Cheryl Blossom would be in this room. As Kevin reached to pull open the doors you managed to speak. "It’s awful what happened to Jason. I hope Cheryl is going to be okay…” three pairs of eyes were immediately on you, “None of us mentioned Cheryl (y/n), how do you know who she is?” Kevin asked, his and Bettys expressions were confused and Veronicas was suspicious.
You swore internally. “I heard one of the students talking about her earlier, I just put two and two together at the name Blossom.” You lied with ease. You had always been quick at thinking on your feet…even if you hated lying.
Betty and Kevin nodded accepting your answer, but Veronicas suspicious gaze lingered on you. You were going to have to be a lot more careful around Veronica Lodge.
Your group filed into the crowded gym. Pretty much all the seats were taken except 3 near the left bottom corner and a few singles scattered around. The four of you eyed each other awkwardly. “You guys go ahead, I’ll be fine by myself.” You smiled at them. Betty looked relieved, and then a little guilty, “Are you sure (y/n)?” You nodded “Totally sure.”
Kevin grinned. “Catch up with us after, I’ll continue to be your designated Riverdale guide.” “See you after.” you replied, before wandering off to find a seat.
You ended up sitting next to a guy with black hair and an odd grey beanie up in the back corner. He made no acknowledgement of you when you sat down, typing away at his laptop. He was definitely interesting, you could tell that. But before you could say anything, a girl with striking red hair had begun talking.
What she said next was lost to you, all you could hear was blood rushing through your head and your pulse pounding. That was Cheryl. It was so surreal, her being 40 feet away from you, with no idea who you were. You were strangers to each other, but still siblings. Still family. But she would never know. No one could ever know. You registered her asking for a moment of silence to reflect on how Jason had touched each of the students lives, as you tried to push away the onslaught of new and powerful emotions.
The boy next to you was watching you intently, silently observing your odd reaction to Cheryls speech. The way you were gripping the seat so hard your knuckles were turning white. When you looked back and him he diverted his gaze and went back to typing.
You managed to get a grip on yourself and calm down, the earlier aura of panic, switching to bored and collected with practiced ease. You bottled stuff up, always had. That was something that hadn’t changed.
Cheryl was speaking again and you immediately turned your focus to her. “Thank you for that moment of silence. Many of you were lucky enough to have known my brother personally. Each and every one of you meant the world to Jason.” Cheryls voice was calm and collected, which you thought was impressive for someone who had just lost her twin.”
But maybe Cheryl Blossom was just like that. You had no frame of reference. “I loved my brother. He was, and always will be, my soulmate. So I speak with the confidence only a twin could have, Jason wouldn’t want us to spend the year mourning.”
The boy next to you fidgeted as Cheryl talked. You bounced your leg and tried to remain stone faced beside him. You glanced at him to see he was already looking at you. You figured it was just because you were the new girl. But his eyes seemed like he was seeing something more, trying to figure you out instead of just looking.
“Jason would want us to move on with our lives. Which is why I’ve asked the school board not to cancel the back to school semi-formal. but rather to let us use it as a way to heal collectively.–”
People all around you were cheering enthusiastically at the news about the semi-formal. Cheryl had a smile on her face that seemed genuinely warm and sincere.
“–and celebrate my brothers too, too short life on this mortal coil. Thank you all.” Cheryl walked off the small makeshift stage and exited the room.
You grabbed your bag and left through the side door as soon as the assembly was over. You had a spare block and decided to just get some air. You needed the distraction, the break. You sat down under a giant tree with, just enough shade to block you from the lingering summer heat. You grabbed your sketchbook and a pencil from your bag and flipped to a blank page.
You had no idea what you were drawing, you just let the pencil flick across the paper, creating lines. Pretty soon there was a familiar face staring back at you.
Oaper Cheryl looked like she was scared and upset, angled away like she was running from something. You had no idea why you had drawn it.
You immediately ripped it out of your book and crumpled it up, setting it beside you to be thrown away later. You had just started scribbling a quick sketch of a little bird that was flitting around on the ground in front of you when an unfamiliar voice startled you out of your bubble.
“So you’re an artist?”
You whipped your head around, looking at the boy from the assembly leaning against the tree.
You brought the sketchbook close to your chest defensively, “I’m drawing, so I guess I must be.” You eyed him apprehensively. “Who are you exactly?”
He shifted his laptop bag on his shoulder. “Jughead Jones. The Third. I sat next to you at the assembly.”
You raised an eyebrow in curiousity, “Jughead Jones the third. That’s…unique.”
He nodded once, looking at you expectantly.
“My names (Y/N) (L/N)–” you paused, a hint of a mischievous smile on your lips. “the first.”
Jugheads lips quirked up for a split second, before switching back to the calculating look he wore at the assembly.
“So (Y/N), you had a pretty strong reaction to cheryls speech. Did you know Jason?”
You instantly went on the defense. Your arms crossed against your chest and your expression became guarded. “No. I didn’t know anything about him before today.” you lied.
Jughead looked like he didn’t quite believe you, his eyes searching your face for signs of deception, and his expression was hard to read. You can almost see a little press cap and vintage camera. He reminded you of a reporter and that put you more on guard. “I just lost my best friend who was part of a pair of twins. I guess it just hit home.”
Jughead still looked a bit suspicious, but seemed to accept your lie for now. He opened his mouth to say something, but was cut off by Betty calling your name.
“Well, that’s my cue to leave.” Jughead remarked dryly before turning and heading in the other direction.
Betty walked over to you and greeted you with a smile. “Hey (Y/N), we didn’t see you after the assembly.”
“Yeah, sorry I just needed some air."
Betty nodded, her ponytail swishing behind her. "Well, do you want to join us for lunch?”
You smiled, one of the few genuine smiles of that day, “I’d actually love that.” You packed up your stuff and reached for the balled up sketch from earlier, but it was gone. You hadn’t thought the wind was enough to move it today, but you figured you had misjudged. Not that it really mattered, people didn’t exactly inspect trash. You grabbed your bag and stood up to follow the two teens.
Betty and Kevin made a Beeline for the Red-headed boy from earlier, who was sitting alone at one of the picnic tables scattered around the courtyard. When the three of you sat down he looked up and greeted Betty and Kevin with warm smiles. His eyes were filled with confusion when his gaze landed on you.
Betty quickly introduced you, “(Y/N) meet Archie Andrews.” Archie gave you a nod of acknowledgment “Hey”
You gave him a small smile and short wave in greeting.
Archie turned his attention to Betty and pulled out a laptop. He started talking but you weren’t listening.
Jughead was staring at you from across the outdoor seating area. You ended up staring right back. His eyes were locked with yours, both of you daring the other to look away. After about a minute Betty’s voice snapped you out of your weirdly intense staring contest.
“(y/n) are you okay? You’re kinda spacing out.”
You blinked a few times to clear your head. “Yeah sorry. Just daydreaming, I guess” You glanced back over to where Jughead had been but he was gone.
Betty nodded and looked at Archie, “Alright, now that (Y/N) is paying attention, you HAVE to play your song for us.”
Archie looked a tiny bit apprehensive but you didn’t think that has anything to do with you. It was the same feeling you get when people ask to see your drawings. Archie sighed in resignation and hit play, a soft melody pouring through his laptops speakers. it was actually really good, something you hadn’t been expecting.
The song had only been on for about 30 seconds when Veronica walked up to the table,
“Can I join?” Veronica asked with a polite smile. Archie closed his laptop, and Betty smiled at her “yeah.”
Veronica moved to sit down with the rest of you, “What are we doing?” Veronica asked.
A proud grin broke out onto Bettys face. “Listening to one of Archies songs.” She leaned closer to Archie.
“I thought we were gonna have to pretend to like it, but its actually really good.” You grinned at Kevins comment. You actually had been dreading the possibility of pretending to like Archies song, you honestly didn’t have the energy.
“Yeah I actually really really liked it.” You smiled at Archie. You had really liked his song, and hoped one day you guys could actually hear the rest.
Veronica looked kind of confused as she shifted in her seat, “Wait, that was you singing something you wrote?”
Archie looked away “It’s rough.” Betty, who was starting to sound like Archies personal cheerleader, contradicted him. “No, it’s great.” she said, that huge grin still on her face
You glanced away. Jeez, Betty had it bad for this guy.
“It’s incredible, actually. The little snippet I heard. Is that your thing? Music? Are you doing something with that?” Veronica asked Archie while Betty watched her with a weird expression.
Archie nodded and took a sip of his drink, “Yeah, that’s the plan.” He immediately changed the subject. “So, how’s your guys first day going? good?” this seemed to be directed at you and veronica. You didn’t really have an answer so you just let her answer as you shrugged.
“Not to be a complete narcissist, but I thought people would be more–” Kevin cut her off, “Obsessed with you? Any other year you’d be trending number one for sure. This year though, its all about Cheryl trying to win the best supporting psycho Oscar for her role as Riverdale Highs bereaved red widow."
You bristled at this, "She just lost her twin brother, Kevin. I think you’d be a little messed up too, especially in an accident like that.” Your tone was cold and a switch from the tables previous friendly banter.
An awkward silence fell over the table. Everyone looked a little uncomfortable at your comment and gave you curious looks. After a few moments Archie grabbed his bag “I should go. Meeting with Grundy, then football tryouts.”
Veronica smiled “You play football too? What don’t you do?” she quipped as Archie walked away from the group.
As soon as he was out of earshot you wiggled your eyebrows at Betty, “That right there is a damn good pick Betty.” She ducked her head in embarrassment. Kevin looked at Veronica and you, “Before you guys ask, no she has not invited-”
Betty suddenly looked kind of panicked and shot the three of you warning stares, “No, not yet. anddon’ttalk about Archie.” then she quickly went back to nonchalantly eating her food as Cheryl Blossom herself approached your table.
Cheryl walked up to the table and put her hands on her waist, a sickeningly sweet smile on her face. The shock and panic from earlier had worn off for you, now Cheryl’s presence was just a fact.
“Veronica Lodge. I’d heard whisperings– I’m Cheryl Blossom.” Cheryl had that off-putting smile on her face the whole time she spoke. “May I sit? Betty, would you mind?”
Without waiting for a response, she sat down as Betty frowned a bit and slid down to the seat directly across from you and Kevin. You shot Betty a sympathetic look as Cheryl turned her attention to the rest of you. You noted that she hadn’t bothered to introduce herself to you, even though you were new as well. “So, what are you four hens gossiping about? Archies efron-esque emergence from the chrysalis of puberty?” Cheryl had a conspiratorial smile and Betty shook her head as a warning for you and Veronica.
“Extracurriculars. Weatherbee wants me and (y/n) to sign up for a few.” Veronica switched the focus off Archie. At the mention of your name Cheryl finally acknowledged you, looking you up and down with a judgmental stare. You shifted uncomfortably under her gaze. Cheryl seemed to deem you not totally offensive and flashed that fake smile at you as a way of acknowledging your existence. “Cheer leading! You must. I am senior captain of the river vixens.” Cheryl moved her hair to her other shoulder and watched Veronicas reaction intently. “Is cheer leading still a thing?” Kevin said before Veronica could answer. You stifled a laugh at the statement and the almost genuine look of confusion on his face.
Cheryl fixed him with a cold stare, annoyance lacing her tone. “Is being the gay best friend still a thing?” She then turned back to Veronica and switched back to cheer leading.“Some people say its retro. I say its eternal and iconic.” She wore a proud smirk.
“At Spence, I sat at the top of the elites pyramid. I’m in.” Veronica said, then looked at you and Betty. “Betty, (y/n) you’re trying out too.” You just nodded, you had no intention of trying out for cheer leading but weren’t going to say anything in front of Cheryl.
Cheryl looked at you and Betty, once again with that judgy stare, “Of course! Anyone’s welcome to try out.” Cheryl looked down at Bettys plate of food with disdain, “But Betty’s already got so much on her plate right now…And being a vixen is kind of a full-time thing, but open to all!”
You clenched your fists at your sides, your temper getting the better of you. Any sympathy you may have felt for Cheryl was rapidly fading.
Cheryl got up from the table and addressed you and Veronica, “Follow me on Twitter and I’ll do the same. my handles @CherylBombshell” and with a smile she turned and walked away.
Veronica smiled in relief as soon as Cheryl was gone. “Okay go ahead and hate on cheer leading but if Hipster prince Harry–” Betty interrupted veronica, “Oh, I’d love to be a cheerleader. It would look good on my college applications. But, last year when I tried out Cheryl said I was too fat.”
“Too season 5 Betty Draper. It was a great line.” Kevin the looked guilty and amended with “But not all all true.”
Immediately your already flaring temper got the best of you, “Seriously? Is that what that plate crack was about? that was so rude and uncalled for.” Kevin hummed in agreement and Betty nodded sheepishly.
“I agree with (y/n), that was a total bitch move. But you’re a total smoke show now, I mean it. As hot and as smart as you are…you should be the Queen Bae of this Drab hive…look, if you want to be a River Vixen, I’ll help you prep. I have moves. You too (y/n), we can all tryout together.”
You vigorously shook your head, “Thanks for the offer, but cheer leading isn’t my scene. I’m going to have to pass. I’ll totally come and provide Moral support though.” Veronica looked a tiny bit disappointed but nodded in acceptance, “Alright (y/n) is out, how about you Betty?”
Betty looked deep in thought for a few seconds before smiling broadly at Veronica, “Okay, you know what? Show me your moves.” You grinned at Betty, “I bet it doesn’t hurt that Archie will get to see you at the game, in your cheerleader uniform.” Betty flushed a deep red and Kevin and veronica both laughed light heartedly. The rest of lunch period was passed in good natured teasing and friendly banter.
On the day of the semi-formal you were a lot more adjusted to riverdale, Cheryl was just the schools resident mean girl and Jason was just some boy who had passed away over the summer essentially they were strangers to you. It didn’t matter that they shared a common parent anymore, It was a secret that would be kept, and hopefully completely ignored.
You were walking home from the nearby 7-11 when your phone chimed with an unread text notification. You unlocked your phone and a text from Betty filled your screen.
’(y/n) do you need a ride? we’re going to the dance at 7’ You grinned at your phone.
‘we? meaning you and Archie? ;)’ a few minutes passed with no response before Betty finally answered,
‘We meaning Veronica, Archie and me.’ You frowned at the message, Betty had apparently lost her nerve.
’damn :( but no, I don’t need a ride I live like 2 blocks from the school.’ You waited for a response but Betty never answered, You figured she had been caught up in some pre-dance prep or something, and continued on your walk home.
You arrived at your house a few seconds later and unlocked the door. An empty silence greeted you, your mom was away on a business trip. Your mother worked as a freelance consultant for big corporations and had to travel alot because of it, so you were usually alone in the house.
Growing up you had a housekeeper that would take care of you, but she had died a few years ago. And by that point you were old enough to take care of yourself, so most of the time it was just you. When your mother was home she would generally be with your grandmother at the retirement home, your grandma had developed dementia and wasn’t usually lucid as of late. But you weren’t close to her so it was harder on your mother than on you.
You shook the depressing thoughts from your head and wandered into the kitchen and put your bag down. It was around three and you still needed to do some homework before getting ready for the dance. You grabbed the books from your bag and plugged in your headphones, starting on your latest English assignment.
Four hours later you were all dolled up and headed to the school, your heels clicked on the pavement as you walked, your hair was down and jostled lightly in the cool breeze.
You walked up to the schools front doors and could already hear music pouring from the gym. You walked in to see Betty standing alone. “Hey, wheres Veronica and Archie? aren’t they your companions for the evening?” Betty smiled a little sadly and opened her mouth to respond but was cut off by Kevin.
“Betty, (Y/n), You will not BELIEVE who just propositioned me in the bathroom. Give you a hint, his name may be moose…But I’d describe a certain appendage of his as as horse-like.” You choked on a laugh at the description and put a hand over your mouth, “Oh man I knew one of the football players had to be gay, the small town gods demand it."
Betty was just speechless her mouth open in shock.
Veronica showed up a few seconds later, "Hey (y/n) when did you get here?” You shrugged, “A minute or so ago.”
She nodded in acknowledgement and turned to Kevin. “I need a dance partner.” Veronica Grabbed Kevins hand with a grin and led him out to the dance floor. They passed Reggie and Moose on their way while the two boys were filling a flask with punch.
Kevin gave Moose an awestruck look as they passed and Moose quickly averted his gaze, which made you start laughing all over again. Your laughter caused Betty to start giggling too. But your laughter was cut short when Cheryls voice came through the loud speakers.
“Good evening, friends. are you all having a good time?” The crowd around you clapped and cheered.
“As honorary chairperson and de facto Queen of tonights semi-formal…it is my great pleasure to introduce this evenings main entertainment. To know them is to be obsessed with them. Though they usually perform their own material– tonight they’re making an exception…And debuting a cover of the song my parents claim they were listening to the night Jason and I were conceived, this ones for you, JJ.”
You raised an eyebrow at the song choice, it was a little odd to pick something like that. But before you could comment Archie came up to you and Betty.“Sorry about that…oh hey (y/n)”
“I give you Josie and the pussycats!” Cheryl finished right after Archie spoke. More cheering erupted around you at the mention of the bands name. Music filled the gym as a slow song was played by the girls on the stage.
Archie turned to Betty, “Wanna dance?” Betty broke out into a wide grin and happily accepted, leaving you standing alone at the edge of the room.
You watched with a happy grin on your face as Betty and Archie Danced, smiles on their faces. But your smile was quickly turned into a frown as Bettys face grew serious and she removed her arms from around Archies neck. You couldn’t hear what they were saying but you knew it couldn’t be good as Archie looked away from her uncomfortably.
Betty looked upset as the song came to an end and her and Archie stood stiffly beside each other.
You caught up to Kevin and Veronica by the snack table. “did you guys see Archie and Betty? That really didn’t look good.” Kevin and Veronica nodded and shared your worried look but before you three could discuss further one of Cheryls friends came up, and invited Veronica and you to an after party at Cheryls
You were sitting on a couch next to Betty kind of uncomfortable and lost in your own thoughts as you stared intently at a picture of Clifford Blossom, yours and Cheryls father. It was surreal thinking about it, thinking about him, being in this house.
But Cheryls voice interrupted your thoughts. “It’s game time at chez Blossom, kiddies. We’re going old school tonight Seven minutes in heaven. Who wants to tryst in the closet of love first? My vote is ‘A’ for Archie. Anyone care to second it?”
“Wait, actually–” Archie started to protest but Reggie cut him off. “YES! Andrews. yes.”
Cheryls smile was the sickeningly sweet one as she gestured for everyone to come closer. “All right, gather round kids. Lets see whos riding the ginger stallion tonight.” She flicked her wrist expertly and the bottle began spinning, Betty and Veronica leaned in intently and you looked on gripped with fear for your friends, you knew Cheryl was up to something and it wasn’t going to be good.
The bottle came to a halt, pointing right between Betty and Veronica. You swore under your breath. “Oooh no way!” Reggie laughed, oblivious to the deeper problems at play.
Betty and Veronica shared an awkward look and Cheryl smirked triumphantly. “Its clearing pointing to…the new girl. this should be fun.”
Veronica shifted uncomfortably in her seat, “Um, Im not doing this.”
“Thats up to you, but if you don’t…house rules decree the hostess gets to take your turn.” Cheryls tone was antagonistic, she knew exactly what she was doing to those three.
Instead of answering Veronica just looked defeated and Betty looked at Archie looking like she was about to cry. They walked into the closet and shut the door, You put a hand on Betty’s shoulder and she just stared at the wall, her green eyes glistening.
10 minutes later they were still in the closet.
“Betty its okay, I’m sure Archie and Veronica would never do anything to hurt you.” You tried to reassure her. Betty was silent and still.
Cheryl watched her with a predatory gaze, her tone was mocking and cruel “(y/n) is right Betty, I’m surenothing is happening between them.” She smirked as a tear escaped Bettys eye and she ran from the room.
You glared at Cheryl. “Seriously?” your voice was sharp with anger, and you wanted to wipe that stupid triumphant smile off her face, but Betty was more important.
You ran out the front door into the cool night air, but Betty was nowhere in sight. “Betty?”
No response. You groaned in frustration and started searching for the blonde.
Nearly half an hour later you were out of options and everything in this town was closed, except a diner called pop tates, with a resigned huff you decided to check here too as a last ditch effort.
You walked in the building and were instantly hit with the overwhelming smell of food cooking and something sweet. But food wasn’t why you were here. You walked up to the counter and were greeted by an older man with kind eyes and a warm smile. “Welcome to pop tates. you new in town?”
You nodded and your gaze darted around searching for Betty. “Yeah I am listen, have you seen Betty Cooper?”
The man chuckled, “No, not tonight. but you are the second person to come in looking for her.” He gestured towards Archie who was sitting in a booth talking to Jughead. You stormed over to him.
“Archie Andrews I am going to kill you. Do you know how much you hurt Betty going into that closet? You could’ve refused! It’s not like Cheryl had a gun to your head! Or at the very least you could have have come out after the 7 minutes! You knew Betty liked you! You knew and I’m guessing those extra minutes in there weren’t filled with an innocent chat.”
Archie opened his mouth to respond but you cut him off.
“Betty doesn’t deserve this crap. And with Veronica!
way to rub salt in the–”
Archie cut your angry rant off.
“I know I messed up okay?” he looked defeated and heartbroken. “I’m going to go talk to her. I’m going to go fix this.”
“You better Andrews.” you crossed your arms and fixed him with a protective glare, but let him pass.
Jughead was staring at you with a peculiar expression on his face you couldn’t tell what was going on in his head, you didn’t care, not at the moment.
“What?” your tone wasn’t accusing or angry, just tired.
He stared at you like he was seeing you for the first time.
“How long have you known Betty?”
You looked away and sighed, “I don’t know…a week?”
He nodded once and turned his focus back to his computer. You sat down in the seat across from him without asking and fixed him with a cryptic stare.
Jughead broke the silence, “Why?”
His question surprised you, and you just blinked.
“Why defend a girl you’ve only known for a week?” He pressed.
You sighed and looked down at your lap, your gaze refusing to meet Jugheads.
“I don’t know. people like Betty, she’s so kind and welcoming…Are so rare She accepted me and Veronica immediately. Even though Archie and Veronica had that spark, and she’s so head over heels for him…She still welcomed her welcomed us both treated us like friends. Then Veronica and Archie did what they did and hurt her so badly.”
“This town already has enough hurting people.”
Jughead searched your face for a lie, or the hidden meaning behind your words. His Blue-green eyes met yours and you just stared right back, your face was neutral but there was a hint of sadness and Heaviness in your gaze.
You could tell he wanted you to explain further, and again you were reminded of a reporter. Digging at things that maybe should be left alone. And maybe you wanted to tell him…but you couldn’t.
You couldn’t tell anyone.
So, before Jughead had time to ask anything else, you stood up from the booth.
“I’ll see you around Jughead.”
And you left the diner, you walked home, and you went to bed.
but for the town of Riverdale, the night was far from over.
The honour of your presence is requested at a Dinner Party
this Friday at seven-thirty in the evening at Hill
will be Lady Dazzle.
You rang the doorbell once and waited. A few days ago, you had received
an invitation to a dinner party. So there you were, clad in a designer dress
that showed off your best assets.
You looked at your reflection in the glass doors and quickly checked to
see if there was lipstick on your teeth. The door opened at that moment and you
shyly straightened yourself up as the butler gave you a half-amused,
“Do you know who I am?” you asked.
“Only that you are to be known as Lady Dazzle.” He took a
step back, allowing you room to walk past him.
You can find my alternative reaction to this where they react to YOU being jealous here ♡
Jin invited you to a party - but this wasn’t just any party. All the biggest celebrities were going to be there, and Jin didn’t want to go without you by his side. Jin didn’t like partying, but he knew if you would be there, his nerves would be at ease. You agreed to going, feeling nervous yet excited. You wanted to look good as you was going to be surrounded by famous people, who were probably going to be wearing nothing but designer clothes. You picked out the best outfit you owned, although it was a little bit revealing. However, when you slipped your clothes on, you had never felt more confident in your life. Jin’s jaw dropped when he saw you, looking beautiful as ever.
When you both entered the party, your looks had caught the attention of many. Jin went to get you both a drink, until a man approached you. Obviously, he was a celebrity, but you wasn’t familiar with who he was.
He tried hitting on you, telling you how good you looked, and how he’d love to get to know you better. You told him you had a boyfriend, but he still didn’t seem to get that you was not interested.
Luckily, Jin came rushing back, handing you your drink and slipping one of his arms around your waist, pulling you into his side.
“I would move along if I were you. She’s already taken.”
The man apologised then left. You could see the anger in Jin’s eyes, but his stern stare soon softened as he looked at you. “I’m sorry for leaving you on your own.. As soon as I saw that man talking to you, I couldn’t help but just feel jealous and I don’t know why.”
But you was glad for his jealously and how protective he was of you so he could save you in situations like that.
Yoongi was very overprotective, but that was only because he couldn’t stand the thought of loosing you. He thought that you could do so much better, and have a boyfriend that would be able to give you all the time in the world. Yoongi loved you, and if he saw you talking to another man, he would want to drag you away from them as soon as possible.
You told Yoongi you was going to get lunch with a friend. Not thinking much of it, he just nodded as you told him. He was fine with you going out and doing your own thing.
However, he didn’t expect to see pictures on your social media of you and your friend (who just so happened to be a male) taking numerous photos together, all of which your friend had his arms wrapped around you. Yoongi felt hurt, almost even betrayed.
He called you up, and you answered.
“I thought you said you was going out with a friend.” He said angrily though the phone.
“I am out with a friend, Yoongi.”
“Oh, really? I didn’t know friends wrap their arms around each other in every single photo they take, and act as if they are dating in public.” He spat. You rolled your eyes as he said this.
“What the hell, Yoongi? Why are you so jealous because of this? We are friends, and that’s all. You really think so low of me that I would cheat?” You asked, hurt.
“I don’t know anymore.” He replied bitterly before hanging up.
Later on through the day, he realised he messed up. He let his jealousy get the best of him, and there was no way he could loose you. He texted you, apologising:
“I’m sorry, (Y/n). I’m an idiot.. I do trust you that you won’t cheat, but I just get crazy jealous. I’m just really scared of loosing you.. please, come back home. I already miss you so much.”
Namjoon felt extremely jealous when you was hanging around with Jungkook more than him. You and Jungkook did almost everything together. Namjoon found Jungkook to be a childish influence on you, and he had even told you this, but you didn’t seem to care. Namjoon was like a big kid too, and if anything, Jungkook was slightly more mature.
Namjoon completely lost it, though, when Jungkook joked that he had a crush on you. You was there when Jungkook told him, leaving you in fits of giggles, but Namjoon was not happy with what Jungkook said.
“Jungkook, I swear to fucking God, if you end up liking (Y/n), I’m going to make your life a living hell, understand? She’s fucking mine and not yours, so leave off.”
Hoseok understood you had friends that were boys, and he didn’t have a problem with them unless you talked to them all the time. But it really annoyed him when you had told him you wasn’t going to be back home till late tonight as you was going to be around some your friends house (and this friend was especially touchy around you.) He waited until you got home to talk to you about how he felt.
But, it wasn’t really a “talk”, and it more so turned into an argument as you both ended up yelling at each other.
Soon enough, you both calmed down, and ended the night cuddling each other in bed, wrapped in each others embrace, as you both apologised to one another.
“I’m so unbelievably sorry for shouting at you. I didn’t mean anything I said that had hurt you, okay?”
Taehyung couldn’t understand it. He couldn’t understand why Hoseok had asked only you if you wanted to watch a movie at his place. Hoseok could of invited any other one of his friends but no - he wanted to invite you. Taehyung couldn’t get the image out of his head where the both of you and Hoseok would start making out on Hoseok’s couch. Deep down he knew you wouldn’t do such a thing, but that didn’t stop him from letting himself get jealous. He texted you, but you didn’t reply, and this only seemed to fuel his anger even more.
He decided to call you instead, and you picked up instantly. He didn’t give you time to talk, and immediately told you to leave Hoseok’s.
“You’re leaving Hoseok’s right now and I don’t care what you have to say.”
Not wanting to anger Taehyung anymore, you thought it would be best to just leave and return home to your boyfriend. You was frustrated with Taehyung and even Hoseok was.
Once you returned, Taehyung felt extremely guilty and apologised over and over again, telling you how stupid and childish he was behaving.
You had bumped into your ex whilst you was out with Jimin. You was going to pretend that you didn’t realise it was your ex, but your ex didn’t seem to want to pretend he didn’t see you.
“(Y/N)! Long time no see, hey? How are you?”
You fake smiled, going along with the conversation.
Even though Jimin knew you felt uncomfortable, he still couldn’t help but feel slightly jealous of how comfortable the man seemed to be around you.
Jimin was confused, so you decided to introduce Jimin to him.
“Uh, Jimin, this is my.. um, ex boyfriend.”
Jimin looked completely shocked. Jimin could already see by the way your ex looked at you that he still had feelings for you. Your ex kept looking at you from head to toe, looking at you the exact way Jimin always did. This made Jimin angry.
“And is this your friend?” Your ex asked you. As you was about to say something, Jimin cut you off.
“No, I’m her boyfriend.” Jimin took hold of your hand. “And I suggest you walk away right now, because neither of us are interested in what you have to say.”
Jungkook didn’t even have a good enough reason to be as jealous as he was. He saw you talking with some guy, only for a few minutes, and it made him furious. He even went as far to accuse you of cheating, but you told him he was overreacting completely, and that you had happened to bump into an old childhood friend. How he even got the idea of you possibly cheating confused you.
You ended up arguing over a silly interaction you had made with somebody. Jungkook realised he blowing things way out of proportion, hating himself for taking something like this so far.
He apologised like mad, and you both ended the day with make up sex.
can you write something about eddie getting into a toxic relationship and richie finding out about it and pretty much wanting to kick the other guys ass for upsetting eddie + the losers club convincing eddie he deserves better & someone who will appreciate and love him for who he is (aka richie)

John Maxwell was a buff, handsome football player.
Quarterback of the team. Did pretty well in school. Had parents with some

Richie couldn’t stand the prick. Not only because he was a
bit of an asshole in general, but because he was dating Eddie. Richie’s soft

Richie wasn’t alone in hating John; none of the losers liked
him. He just gave them a bad feeling. He wouldn’t take Eddie out, and wouldn’t
let Eddie come to his house or hang out with him in public for fear of anyone
seeing them together. The only time they saw each other after school was when
John snuck into Eddie’s room in the middle of the night, when he was sure no

several of the other losers, but Eddie wouldn’t listen to them. “I like John,”
he’d say defensively. “I’ve never had a boyfriend before; I could not have
another one after this. Just let me be happy.”
But he wasn’t happy. They could tell. Whenever they caught
Eddie looking at John, laughing with his friends on the team, talking to girls
who flirted with him, ignoring Eddie and his loser friends, they all saw the
rejected and lonely look in his eye.

“baby, please tell me you’re ready!” Yoongi yelled from the bottom of the stairs.
“Yoongi! I’m not going anymore!” You yell back. A few seconds later you hear Yoongi running up the stairs.
“babbyyy sweetie :) what do you mean you’re not going anymore? I’m already dressed.” says Yoongi sarcastically.
you’ve been getting ready for hours now, but you still don’t feel comfortable in what you have on. You’ve honestly gained a little weight recently, you wanna be so prefect for yoongi you don’t wanna admit that this is the reason you don’t wanna attend his family party.
“I don’t like the dress anymore.” You simply shrug your shoulders sitting back on the bed taking off your heels.
“What? You literally begged me to buy it Y/N.” confusion strikes his face. You just shrug again. Yoongi sighs and sits down on the bed next to you.
“What’s wrong Y/N, you just were just so excited like an hour ago.”
“Yoongi nothing, I just don’t wanna go anymore” You speak looking down.
Yoongi got up and stood in front of you. He grabbed your chin to left your head up.
“Real reason please.” Yoongi said with a soft expression.
“Yoongi I don’t feel comfortable that’s all.”
“You don’t feel comfortable around me? My family? What’s wrong? Speak to me babe.” He says almost at a whisper.
“The dress. Myself. I just haven’t been feeling it lately. I’ve gained weight.” This makes Yoongi smile for some odd reason.
“Y/N look in the mirror! You look unbelievable right now. Babe the way this dress is hugging your curves honestly makes me wanna rip it off of you. Do you think that a little weight gain isn’t gonna make me wanna fuck you senselessly every other day?” You shrug once again.
“Well, it doesn’t. I love your body; always did. Now can we leave because if I keep staring at you we’ll be in this bed all night. I’m so excited for this after party in our bed later.” Yoongi winks and bites his lips.
It’s finally you and Jin’s date night, you guys go to your favorite restaurant. You’re so excited, these last couple months caused you to gain some weight. You have been stressed with school, family, and friends.
Finally arriving at your favorite restaurant you guys get seated, talk about life and after a while, your food arrives. You being to eat and eat and… eat. But suddenly you stop. Obviously making Jin confused.
“Hey, why’d you stop?” Jin asks.
“I can’t eat like this anymore, I need to go to the gym.” you say getting upset.
Jin laughs “Stop being silly and eat so we can make the movie,”
“Jin I’m serious, I've gained so much weight can’t you tell?”
“Babe, I don’t even care about all that. I love you for you, and always will. You don’t have to impress me or anyone else. Y/N I fell in love with your personality You’re a beautiful person … but I want you to be happy so if you want to go to the gym I’ll go with you. I’ll even make us more food, but healthier choices that you pick. Deal?
After Jin said all this it made you happy, this was the reason you fell in love with Jin. He always said the right things. “Deal :)”
“Namjoon am I getting bigger?” you ask as you stare in the mirror.
“Well I mean your ass definitely got fatter,” He says walking up behind you, grabbing you forcefully.
“Are you serious that’s not even funny, I need to lose some weight.” you say sounding upset.
“No baby, you know I like my women thick. I admire your body every day how can you not love it as much as I do?”
“I don’t know babe, you know I’m a perfectionist!” looking at him with your puppy dogs eyes.
“Well, sorry bae. I love it. Now stop looking all sad! Want me to make you happy?” Namjoon winks.
You thought to yourself, and it sure as hell didn’t sound bad. After all, he was a master with your bra.
Jimin is literally the sweetest guy ever. He wouldn’t want you to be sad about something that he saw as beauty. When you told him that you wanted to lose weight, he was ready for being by your side 100%. Although he couldn’t actually see that you even gained a pound. Jimin loved that way you looked, to him, you were a snack! He saw a full course meal every time he looked at you. But he was never the type to tell you what to do so, whatever your decision was he was all here for it.
“Y/N I lust over your body on a daily, but if you wanna work out.. fine, come over here and let me work you out.” Tae says while biting his lip and pushing you onto the bed.
“Baby noooooooooo I love everything about you! Don’t change. You’ve always been perfect.”
“You’re my hope babe, I want to see you happy. So change for you not because every one wants you to! A little weight gain never hurt anybody!”
this is literally all over the place, buuuuutt hope you enjoy. ~ Rae ♥
