Teru had been talking for entirely too long.

He didn’t notice until he stopped and sipped his coffee, which had cooled enough to not burn his tongue, and that always took 15 and sometimes 20 minutes. Teru realized it meant one thing: he’d been talking for an absolute minimum of 15 straight uninterrupted minutes. The embarrassment hit him one second later.

“Sorry, I am…certainly rambling at this point,” Teru interrupted himself mid-story, cupping his drink in his hands and offering an apologetic smile. He waved as if to dismiss himself. How long exactly had Mob been sitting in absolute silence, listening? “To cut a long story short, I did score the final shot right before the thunder started, so yes, our team won. And I did it without my powers.”

Mob peered out beneath a thick woolen hat. His hands in mismatched mittens were wrapped around a Styrofoam cup of hot chocolate.  He adjusted himself on the park bench and nodded once. “I’m glad. And I don’t think you were rambling. Shishou rambles much more. I’m used to that.”

Teru shrugged anyway. His scarf bunched up around his chin, and he pulled it down to take another sip of his black coffee. “I think it’s the location. I used this routine a lot with the girls I dated. Coffee-shop coffee, then a walk to this park, then sitting and chatting on this bench. I’d keep them entertained with a story of something…incredible I did. I only dated the type of girl who’d be impressed with a guy who just talks about himself for an hour…” Teru set his coffee down on the pavement. He folded his hands, leaned his elbows against his knees and stared forward. A harsh wind whipped past, snagging the ends of his scarf. It felt dull against the layers of jacket, mittens, hat, scarf…

“Are you enjoying your coffee, Hanazawa-kun?”

Teru snorted. He dropped his head lower before turning to Mob. “I just told you we’re done talking about me.” In the silence that followed, he added, “Yes, it’s good coffee. My favorite in Seasoning City. How’s your hot chocolate?”

Part1 Part2 Part3 Part4 Part 5 Part 7

Tu te fous de ma gueule! (You’re kidding me)” Lafayette said, widening his eyes.

“She’s my best friend, Lafayette. I know her.” You grew furious, tightening your hands. Laurens looked at your stance, and stood in front of you blocking your view. You tried looking around him, but he followed your movements. “Laurens, move. We have to make sure she doesn’t do anything to him.”

“You’re too angry right now. I think we should bring you back to the camp.” Laurens said, still standing there. You sighed in frustration, shaking your head. Your best friend was the witch. She’s the one that sent you here, that cursed your friends, Hamilton. But, why?

This is making less and less sense.

“Laurens, I need to confront her, I need to find out what’s going on.” You began walking to them, but you felt an arm grab your wrist. You turned back quickly, glaring. Mulligan held your arm, preventing you from going further. “Herc, let me go. Now.”

“No, I cannot do that. I cannot let you risk your life.” He said, looking at his friends. They all nodded, turning to you. “Like you said before, we have to watch and see. Do not make any more commotion than we already have.” He tilted his head, making your gaze look around. The men and women were looking at the four of you, questioning in your eyes. You frowned.

“But Herc, she’s my friend. I need to know.”

“Not now. Let’s go to the table and just watch.” You bit your lip, but nodded, letting them guide you back. You kept your eyes on her, watching her talk to Hamilton. He was giving her a polite smile, looking even more uneasy than before. You tapped your foot on the floor, glaring at her. She did not even glance at you, enjoying herself. Laurens placed his hand on your shoulder, smiling at you sadly.

You wanted to go over there and kill her yourself. But the three men around you would stop you before you could even stand. So you continued to stare, at least until their gazes turned to your table. Hamilton was the first to look, raising his eyebrow at your stare. You glanced down at your empty plate.

Mon amis, they are coming here.”

They walked toward us, Hamilton wearing a hesitant look on his face. Your best friend held her arm in his, her eyes only focused on you. You were about to get up, but Herc gave you a warning look, making you sit down.

“Lads, this is Miss Erin Greenwood. She requested that I showed her my friends.” He glanced over at you once, then looked back at his friends.

“Nice to meet you, Miss Greenwood.” Lafayette said, the first to stand. She held out her hand, and he froze. Usually, he would not hesitate to kiss a woman’s hand, but the situation called for a different tactic. He pretended to not see her outstretched hand at all, bowing to her once. Laurens and Mulligan greeted her, their calm demeanor confusing you. How could they just act this way towards the woman who erased their memories?

“And who is she?” She said innocently, looking at you. You glared at her, causing a nudge from Laurens. You were still sitting down, refusing to be polite to this woman.

“Ahh, this is Y/N Y/L/N. She is not from around here, but it seems like she cannot leave.” You frowned at his passive-aggressive behavior. Again, you had to remind yourself that this was not him.

Erin greeted you, curtsied once. You did nothing, staring at her. She smirked at your lack of common courtesy. “Hmm, Y/N. You are a very interesting woman.”

“That’s what everyone seems to say these days.” You replied.

“Would you like to talk? The men here seem like they have something to discuss.” You glanced at the four of them, and they all looked at you. Herc seemed the most worried, shaking his head at the suggestion. You gave him a sympathetic look, turning back to Erin.

“Sure.” You replied, and walked away with her. You could hear the four of them arguing as you walked away with Erin. It was quiet for a little, until you finally spoke up. “Why the hell did you do this? Why would you bring me back in time? What is going on and why shouldn’t I just punch you right now?” You hissed, following her to the refreshments table. She offered you a drink, buy you refused. You did not need more curses in your life.

“Y/N, I only did this because you did the same to me.”

“You keep on saying that, but I have no idea what you’re talking about.” She laughed, sitting at a table nearby, you sat across from her, waiting for her to say something, anything. Instead, she just sipped on her drink. “Come on now, Erin! Say something!”

“You cannot force me to say anything, Y/N. Remember the one who is in control here.” She said, an edge to her voice. “Besides, Hamilton seems to have taken a liking to me. It’s entertaining to see him hate the love of his life.” She giggled, placing her drink to the side.

What was she talking about?

“You see, Y/N, we have gone through this, multiple times. You and I like Alexander, there’s some sort of love square instead of a triangle, and he always picks you. Every. Single. Time.” She held on to her glass tightly, and you noticed cracks appearing.

“You’re not making any sense, what are you even saying?”

She shrugged, looking over at Hamilton. The boys were talking casually now, glancing at the two of you ever so often. You saw Mulligan looking at you, concern in his eyes. You smiled, not wanting him to worry.

“I don’t even know anymore. It’s tiresome that I am the only one who remembers everything. Why can’t you just wake up in another life, knowing that you are going to meet me soon enough? And that you’re going to take Alexander from me again.” She sighed, stirring her drink with her finger.

“Are you talking about reincarnation?” You asked, and she nodded.

“For fucks sake, Erin, just-“ She stopped stirring, looking up at you. There was an evil gleam in her eyes, so you decided to rephrase your words. “Erin, we were best friends. Can you just tell me what’s going on?”

“You see, you and I were friends in Athens,” you widened your eyes, “Yes, stop staring at me like that, it is in fact Ancient Greece. Can I continue?” You nodded.

“We were servants, maids of some man who I care not to talk about now. We grew to be friends, agreeing that we should escape from the job. It was not easy, you, see, we were to pleasure the man. He had a wife, of course, but sometimes he wanted to mix it up a little.” You saw the fear in Erin’s eyes, and you grew sympathetic towards her. “We ran out, one day, and stumbled across a group of men. I knew you were terrified, since it was my idea to run away in the first place. They noticed that we were dirty and barely had on any clothing, so they brought us to their home.”

“Long story short, they were the boys; Lafayette, Mulligan, Hamilton and Laurens. Although that wasn’t their names back then. I liked Alexander, and you knew, so you avoided him. He was a flirt, but he seemed to gravitate towards you, always talking about how amazing Y/N was. It was frustrating, and I appreciated how you ignored his advances. Mulligan liked you, though, and you never noticed, taking his flirts as just kindness. It was really sad seeing him like you and you not like him. Eventually, though, he asked for you to be his bride. You agreed.”

“Why would I agree to marrying someone I wasn’t in love with?”

“That’s how it was back then, Y/N. You were glad to be with a man of his stature. Hamilton was furious, but of course he didn’t tell his friend that.”

“It was horrible. Alexander ignored me the whole time, and if he did talk, he would ask about you. He crashed the wedding, by the way. Drama and more drama, and by the end, it was the two of you who were married. It’s funny, how things ended. I wanted to be with him, I deserved to be with him. I talked to a local priestess and she convinced me to learn magic. I thought I put on a curse to separate the two of you. I didn’t think this would happen, I didn’t know we would be stuck in this loop. I was being a stupid girl, in love with a man who would never love me. I still love him,” She said, now playing with her fingers, “All of us. The boys, me and you, we’ll be stuck in this loop forever, until you figure out how to break it.”

You were quiet, absorbing all the information. Alexander and you, you were supposed to be together, you were meant to be together. You looked at the table of friends, smiling at the laughing Hamilton. He looked towards you, and his smile dropped, he looked away. You looked back at Erin.

“Why did you make him hate me? You were never a bad friend to me. But you made him hate even looking at me. Why did you even send me here?” You were indeed hurt. She made this whole curse happen, and now, she made the one person who would make this bearable despise you. She was not as much of a villain that you made her out to be, but she still made this happen.

Erin sighed. “I did it because I hated just standing in the background the whole time. You don’t know how it feels to see the one you love, love someone else. I wanted you to see him hate you, Y/N. I needed to see you hate him too.”

“You do realize that I don’t love him, right?” You said, and she laughed, rolling her eyes.

“Right. You don’t, but you will. If you haven’t already been lying to yourself. I’ve seen this dozens of times, Y/N, trust me.”

She was frustrating. It hurt for Hamilton to hate you without any reason, but you only liked him. You took another look at him, noticing that your friends were gone. You stood up quickly, looking around frantically. Then you noticed something.

Everyone was gone. You looked back at Erin, and she smiled, putting her legs on a chair next to her.

“What are you doing-”

“I don’t need anyone overhearing our conversations. Especially those friends of yours,” She scoffed, “but then again, they were mine too, on multiple occasions.” She nodded her head to herself, pursing her lips.

“Why did you send me here?” You asked, and she laughed.

“Actually, you did that to yourself.”

“Remember when I told you about the musical?” You nodded, and she continued, “Well, you were researching about Alexander Hamilton, you clicked on some link. I have no idea how that sent you back here, but it did. And it sent me as well.”

“If we’re reincarnated, then what happened to us? Our selves in this time?”

“Well, your name was Margarita Schuyler van Rensselaer, the sister of Hamilton’s future wife. You died in this timeline early, and you weren’t supposed to, by the way. Since you died, I ended up dying as well. My name was, hmm, it doesn’t really matter. I’m not important.” You heard the tang of sadness in her voice. “This is probably why Alexander dies early as well.”

“He dies?” Your heart dropped. She raised her eyebrows.

“Wow, you really are an uncultured swine. You were much more interesting in London, by the way. Being a spy and all,” You raised your eyebrows, “Did you not listen to the soundtrack? Aaron Burr shot Hamilton? His friend turned enemy? Wow, you really don’t know.” You thought of Alexander being killed, and your felt your heart jump.

It’s funny, you did not love the man, and it’s already hurting because of him. You tried not to worry about it.

Emphasis on tried.

“How do I get the curse taken off Hamilton?” You asked her, and she smiled. You were thinking that this woman was more like infatuated with Hamilton instead of being in love with him. Talking about someone you love dying is not an easy subject, and no one would want the person they loved to be manipulated like this.

“I knew I was forgetting something! You must fall in love with him, or, the other way around. Either way, it does not really matter. It will work, you just have to make him like you. The curse will wear off each time you play one of his heartstrings, until it completely goes away. ” She glanced at the nonexistent watch on her wrist. “Oh, look at the time! Have fun, Y/N! I’ll see you on the other side!"

“Wait, Erin, how do I get back-”

She snapped her fingers, and you blinked.

The music was no longer playing, and the place was completely empty. Erin was gone, and you were sitting alone at the table. You felt a hand on your shoulder, and turned to see Lafayette standing there. He smiled down at you.

Mon ami, are you alright?“ You nodded. "We were looking for you, the witch that calls herself Erin and yourself were gone. It is, how you say, worrisome. Mulligan is outside, and Laurens is checking the room with water bowls.”

“The restroom, Lafayette?”

“Ahh, yes, mon ami. I apologize for my English.” He said, blushing. He took his arm off your shoulder, and you stood up. “Hamilton is looking as well, Y/N. He seemed very nervous.” You bit your lip.

Hamilton was nervous? Why was he nervous? Shouldn’t he hate you?

“Thanks for telling me.” He nodded, smiling at you once. The two of you decided to wait for them to come back to the room instead of chasing after them. Hamilton was the first to come in, and you saw relief in his eyes. That emotion quickly turned to annoyance, and he bothered you on his much chaos you caused. Laurens came after, a smile almost breaking his freckled cheeks. He touched you hand, squeezing it.

Mulligan came in last, desperation on his face. His eyes met yours, and he walked over to you quickly. You were surprised that he pulled you in his arms, hugging you tightly. You haven’t had the comfort of a hug in a while, so it was refreshing, you wrapping your arms around him. You heard someone clear their throat, and Mulligan let go, smiling down at you. “I’m glad you are safe.” He said, a small blush on his cheeks.

“Thank you. Thank you all for looking out for me. But I need to speak to Hamilton.” They all looked at Hamilton, and he had the most shocked look on his face. They waited for you to continue, and you looked at them expectantly. “Alone.” Lafayette and Laurens nodded, walking away. Mulligan stayed behind, refusing to move from his spot. “Herc…”

“Is this about the curse? Shouldn’t we all listen?” You rubbed your head. You were going to tell them, but you needed to speak to Alexander first. He was the one most involved in it.

“Yes, and I’ll tell you, but just give me a few minutes.”

“Go, Mulligan.” You replied sternly, and he was taken aback by your change of tone. He turned around and walked away, closing the door behind him. You turned to Hamilton, and his mouth was in a line, showing no emotions. He stood tall, his arms behind his back. His stance was very unwelcoming, but you could deal with it for now. You sat at a nearby table, gesturing for him to sit as well. He hesitated, but sat, saying nothing.

You began explaining the whole situation to him, and he was unpredictably calm, at least until you got to the part about how you needed to break the curse. He snickered, leaning back in the chair. “I do not even like you, how would I fall in love with you? The way of ridding of this curse makes no sense. There is no slither of hope.”

“I know, trust me, I know.” You did not want to argue with him, it was too exasperating. Instead, you touched his hand. He flinched, moving away quickly.

“Do not touch me.” He stated, and you nodded.

“Fine, Hamilton. I’m just stunned that you fear a woman’s touch.”

He sneered, and before he could reply with a snide remark, you stood up, opening the door for the three musketeers to come in. “You can come in now.” The three of them walked through the door, nervous.

You told them the predicament as well, and they all nodded. Hercules was the most distraught though, you could see it written on his face. Since your impromptu visit here, you noticed that he rarely showed how he felt. But the veins swelling on his hands and the tightening of his jaw showed you that he did not like this one bit. “So, you and Hamilton are meant to be together, no matter what may happen?” You nodded, and Hamilton laughed behind you.

“I know, it’s quite preposterous. Can you imagine Y/N and I together? That will be the day.” You rolled your eyes at him, and Mulligan could not help but notice the interaction between the two of you.

You and Hamilton did not realize it yet, but there was no more tension in the room. Hamilton still disliked Y/N, but not as much as before. He could stand next to you without frowning in distaste. And you were smiling. Mulligan saw the potential when the two of your first met, and he could still see it now. He hoped that you would come to like him instead, but you told him you could not. And now he knew why.

“Mulligan? Are you ready to go?” Laurens asked, touching his friend’s shoulder. Mulligan nodded, giving him a tight smile.

He knew that he would get the short end of the stick. It always seemed to end that way.

listen i discovered an entirely new BREED of Straight People when i started working in this bakery

one time i had a woman order one of our most popular cakes for her husband’s birthday party – only she requested that we not decorate it in such a “girly” way as usual

it is… a plain white cake… topped with strawberries and blackberries

and i can still hear the strain in my own voice as i answered, “well, ma’am, i’m not sure that there’s anything inherently feminine about berries….????”

another time a woman nervously asked me if it was “okay” to get a purple-frosted cake for a boy

i responded by puffing out my chest and saying “WELL I’M A BOY AND I LOVE PURPLE”

considering the fact that she had been misgendering me for the entire conversation this was an especially satisfying double-whammy of Fuck Your Heteronormative Standards

anyway i never knew that so many straight white cis women were terrified of their big strong men being emasculated by baked goods but here we are

Because You Loved Me

Prompt: i was just wondering for part of wish upon a star.  after everyone reunion at the mayors office what emma, killian, henry, snow, david and regina go to grannies for dinner as family.  also emma and killian decide to dance at grannies when a song comes on its because you loved me by celine dion.

She woke up as her father called her name, her head resting on Killian’s chest, and her hands laced in his.

It had worked! Both her parents were awake, and Emma felt like crying. For the first time in weeks, things were looking up again. Her parents were out of the curse, her fiancé had returned, and they had a way to defeat the Black Fairy.

She watched as David and Killian made up, and Snow talked to the people of the town, who were all equally ecstatic that their curse had been broken.

They weren’t out of the clear yet, but when were they ever? There was always some curse, some evil, and some darkness, and Emma had long since learned to live in the moment, as opposed to waiting for a moment of peace in the chaos.

“Alright, I think this calls for a proper meal!” Granny said, as she ushered everyone out of the Mayor’s office.

“Killian,” she said softly, finding her Love, as she laced her fingers through his. He smiled softly at her as the towns people walked down Main Street and into the diner.

“I’m glad you’re both up,” she said to her parents as David pulled her into a hug. “I was really worried.”

This is going to sound weird..but? I'm feeling really sad? Prom was today and I wasn't able to go because of my crippling anxiety and aspergers; but now I'm just seeing photos all over various social medias of my friends looking great and happy and I just really wished I had been there? I haven't been to school in almost a year now so it would have been weird to go and that's also why I don't feel like I'm allowed to be sad.. :/ I'm just incredibly lost, sorry for dumping this on you :(

hey anon!! speaking from experience, missing out on something definitely isn’t the end game. i know prom is like made out to be this big thing in someone’s life and if all your friends are there without you it can suck. but you don’t need to be dressed in a fancy suit or dress to have a good time. once, in the fear of “missing out”, i went to a party and i felt so sick the whole time. i didn’t want to talk to anyone and the people i knew were preoccupied with other people. it was terrifying and i ended up throwing up out of nervousness and left (oops in their toilet of course - not like just on the ground). if you know you can’t handle a social situation it’s fine to not go! there are other chances in life to do better things :-) and that time will come eventually you just might have to be a bit patient!

i have been hiding from the word "lesbian" for as long as i can remember. i remember writing "am i a lesbian?" in my diary in elementary school and ripping out the pages or scribbling it out and forcing myself never to think about it. knowing that the word existed didn't liberate me in any way, and in fact solidified everything that i was afraid of lol. embracing it has been a rewarding journey, but by no means an easy one

okay huge mood i distinctly remember learning what it meant (i was 10 and someone described it. as “like gay but the woman version”) and immediately becoming terrified that i could be one. i knew there were lesbians Out There and that wasn’t comforting to me at all, because i couldn’t handle the thought of being one. like did i feel broken because i couldn’t make my relationships with men work? yeah, but i also had like, an aura of self-loathing that permeated every single thing i did like it’s been a long journey to get to where i am today where being a lesbian is actually joyful and freeing

I miss you.

Betting on More Chapter 10 pt. 1

“Oh, God. What have I done?” I asked myself for the thirtieth morning in a row. It had been thirty agonizing days since I walked out on Niall. Walked out on the best thing that had ever happened to me, and I regretted every moment since. Niall left on tour a few days after my dramatic exit and hadn’t been back to London. Despite a few texts and a couple of calls in the first week, which I ignored, I hadn’t heard from him. It has been twenty-one days since he tried to contact me. For the first time I was angry that someone listened to something I told them to do. Why didn’t he fight for me? Why hadn’t he tried to win me back? But I knew the answer to all of this: I wouldn’t have listened. I was an asshole, and I didn’t deserve him.

His face bombarded my phone as I perused Tumblr and Twitter for updates of his tour. He looked happy and not at all the mess that I was, which hurt that much more. He was supposed to fall apart like me. Lie on his couch for days on end, not bothering to shower or eat, even when his publicist came by to tell him to get his shit together. “Kate, you can’t lie here forever. So you fucked up, again. Be an adult; go tell him you’re sorry. And for the love of Jesus, take a fucking shower. You smell like my dog’s asshole that last time she ate chocolate and got the runs.” Char was nothing if she wasn’t blunt, the trait of being a Scorpio.

i slept for three hours this afternoon and during that time i had a dream that at that moment i found absolutely terrifying where these guys i knew from elementary school were playing laser tag in a dark maze and suddenly this light up drawing a stick figure with the word “hey” written beneath it appeared on the wall. they ignored it until it started teleporting to different walls and eventually they came to the conclusion that touching it would do something bad to you so every time they saw it they panicked and my subconscious portrayed it as the most nightmarish scenario imaginable even though the “”monster”” was literally just a shitty stick figure

the second i heard about the shooting in vegas i started crying because i knew the boys were in vegas and was honestly terrified that they were hurt. my mom and i started looking to find out if they were okay or not and thank god they are, but let’s be honest they’re probably horrified.

if anybody who sees this lives in or around vegas, please please please be safe

“This Is Not The End” - Sammy Wilk Imagine (PART 2)

‘Mommy, it looks beautiful!’ My adorable three year old daugther said clapping her hands as I held her in my arms.

‘It looks beautiful because you helped me decorate it, Brooke!’ I said kissing her cheek. ‘Are you excited for Christmas morning?’ I asked her.

‘Yeah, I can’t wait to see what santa got me.’ She said and I chuckled. ‘Miss Johnson told us stories about Christmas today.’ She added.

‘Oh, really? That’s great!’ I said smiling. ‘Whoa, look at the time. It’s time for you to go to bed, missy.’ I said putting her down on her feet.

‘Alreday?’ She pouted.

‘The sooner you fall asleep, sooner will santa come.’ I winked at her and she screamed and hurried upstairs.

I chuckled at her cute actions and started cleaning the mess that we left after decorating our Christmas tree. I loved how excited she was to help me because I feel like she’s now old enough to understand some things, but then again, she’s growing up so fast and it makes me a little bit sad because of the certain things.

I bent down to pick up the last few pieces of Christmas tree decorations when someone rang the doorbell. ‘Oh, c’mon, really?’ My thoughts instantly went to mrs Gray. Her cat probably ran away, again, and now she needs me to go look for her for the fourth time this week. ‘Hello, mrs-’ I started saying expecting to see mrs Gray in front of my door, but instead of her, in front of my door was standing Sammy. Sammy Wilkinson.

My mouth fell open and my heart started racing. I gripped the door a bit tighter just so I can keep my balance and not pass out.

‘S-Sammy?’ I asked very quietly.

‘Hey, y/n.’ He said giving me a small smile.

So, Sammy is not just my ex boyfriend, he was my first real love, he was a person that helped me to get through all bad things that had happened to me, he was my shoulder to cry, he was my whole world, but he was also the one who crashed down my world. But I guess the most important thing is that he’s Brooklyn’s father. He’s the person that she often asks questions about now when she’s older.

‘What are you doing here?’ I asked the person who I haven’t seen in four years.

‘I-it’s Christmas eve. I-I wanted to spend it with you.’ He said making me laugh, but I abstained myself.

‘Sam, that is ridiculous. You do realize that we haven’t seen each other in four years, right?’

‘I know, but I..I just want to tell you that I’m sorry for everything that I’ve done and that I want you back, y/n.’

‘What? You can’t just show up on my door at 10;30 p.m. after four years and tell me that you want me back, Sam. That’s not how it goes.’ I said.

‘I know, I know, y/n, but I don’t know what to say except that not a day has gone by that I didn’t think of you. Everything reminds me of you, I see you everywhere in everything and I just can’t be without you anymore, I can’t be on my own. It’s been four years and-’

‘Mommy, what is taking you so long?’ Suddenly, Brooklyn appeared behind me. My heart wanted to jump out of my chest. I was so scared of what is going to come.

‘Baby, go to your room, okay? I’ll be there in 5 minutes to put you in bed.’ I said bending down to put her hair behind her ear.

‘Mommy, who’s this?’ She asked looking up at Sam whose eyes were wide open.

‘It’s..’ I didn’t know what to say to her. I couldn’t just say: hey, baby look, it’s your daddy! He finally showed up, after four years! ‘It’s just a-a passer-by..uh-’

‘What? Y/n, who is this?’ Sam asked.

‘Sam, it’s time for you to leave.’ I said quickly changing the subject.

‘No, I’m not leaving without an explanation. Is this your daughter?’ He asked.

‘Yes, this is my daughter, now leave.’ I said.

‘Are you married? Who is her father?’ He kept asking questions ignoring me.

‘I don’t have one.’ Brooklyn said quietly. Oh God..

‘What do you mean you don’t have one?’ Sam asked bending down to her, but she hid herself from him behind my leg. I picked her up in my arms and she buried her head in my neck peeking at him.

‘Sam, leave, please.’ I said pushing him back, but he didn’t want to listen  to me so he put his hand over mine.

‘No, y/n. I need to know who this is.’ He said. ‘How old is she?’ He asked.

‘Why do you want to know?’

‘Because she has the same eyes as me, y/n.’ He said. It didn’t take long for him to realize because it was pretty clear. Brooklyn looked a lot like Sam when he was a little kid. She had the same eyes and eyelashes as Sam, the same look in her eyes and also the same personality as him.

‘Mommy, I’m tired.’ Brooklyn said rubbing her eyes.

‘Let’s put you to bed, baby girl.’ I said turning around and carrying her upstairs to her room and leaving Sam standing there.

‘Why doesn’t that man want to leave?’ She asked when I put her down and covered her.

‘I don’t know..’ I sighed. ‘Don’t worry, baby, okay? You go to sleep so you can wake up early tomorrow and unwrap the presents that santa got you, okay?’ I said kissing her forehead.

‘Okay, goodnight, mommy.’

‘Night, Brooke.’ I said and turned off the lights in her room.

I went downstairs again and found Sam still standing in the hallway.

‘I’m not leaving until you tell me what’s going on.’ He said looking at me.

I sighed and made my way into the living room and he followed me.

‘Is she my daughter?’ He asked. but I refused to answer. ‘Y/n, answer me. I deserve an explanation!’ He said raising his voice a little bit.

‘Do you really? Do you really deserve an explanation after everything, Sam?’ I asked crossing my arms. ‘And don’t yell, you’ll scare her even more.’

‘I’m sorry..I’m so sorry.’ He said. ‘I’d do anything just to turn back time and erase that night from our lives. I’d do anything to get you back.’

‘I hope she was worth it.’ I said trying to hold back my tears remembering the night when I found Sam kissing that girl.

‘Baby, don’t say that. Losing you was the hardest thing I ever had to face. I’ve gone through hell after you left me.’

‘And what do you think how was I feeling? Do you think it was easy for me to raise a kid all by myself at just 20? Do you think it was easy for me to find strenght to move on and start a new life? It wasn’t, Sam!’

‘So, she is mine?’

Before I started to talk again I had to sit down because my legs were shaking. ‘I was going to tell you the night I found you with her. I actually had known for about two weeks that I was pregnant before I told you. I was both, excited and scared. Excited because I knew I wouldn’t want a baby with anyone else but you, but then again, I was terrified because I knew that we were both so young and I didn’t know how you’re gonna react.’ I said. ‘And then, when that happened, when I realized that I had to leave you, I was just scared. I was doubting myself. I wasn’t sure if I could do this on my own. I had no support. There was my mom who was more than angry at me telling me I told you so which was the last thing I needed to hear. I was devastated and it took me so long to stand back on my feet and rebuild everything that you crashed down. I had to get myself together not just because of myself but because of this little angel. I had to be strong for her because she needed me.’ I didn’t even notice that I was crying until the tears started to run down my cheeks. I looked at Sam who covered his eyes with his hands and was sniffling as the tears were sliding down his face now too.

‘I’m so sorry, y/n. If I knew earlier, I’d..oh God..’ He said through the tears. ‘I’d look up for you sooner. I’d be there for you. But the reason I waited for such a long time is because I wanted to give you some space and time. I knew that if I kept pushing, I would only make things worse. But trust me, you didn’t hate me as much as I hated myself at that time. I still do. I’ll never forgive to myself and I know you won’t either, but despite that, I won’t give up on you. Especially not now when I know that we have a daughter. I already told you that. I told you that that wasn’t the end of us.  So I’m begging you, I’m begging you, y/n.’ He said getting on his knees in front of me and taking my hands in his. ‘Give me one more chance. Give me one last chance to make everything right. Let me be there for you and our baby.’ He said. I could see in his eyes that he truly was sorry, but I didn’t know what to do. I was afraid to open my heart to him again.

‘Sam, I need some time to think about this. I can’t make decision about this just like that.’ I said hoping that he would understand.

‘Okay, I’ll give you as much time as you need, but please, please don’t take her away from me.’ He said. We both stood up and were about to head toward the door, but he quickly turned around and tightly wrapped his arms around my body. ‘I love you, y/n.’ He said in my hair.

I was holding tightly onto him and whispered ‘I love you too, Sammy.’

He took a step back and kissed my forehead before leaving.

I closed the door and just a few seconds later someone was knocking again. And as I assumed, it was Sammy.

‘Hey, I’m sorry, but I wanted to ask you if it’s okay if I come over tomorrow? I would really like to be with my family on Christmas morning and I wanna meet her as soon as possible.’

‘Of course.’ I said smiling.

Christmas Morning

‘Wow, mommy, look at this!’ Brooklyn said excitedly showing me her new toys that ‘santa’ got her. She and I continued unwrapping other presents when the doorbell rang. ‘Who’s that?’ Brooke said.

‘Someone special.’ I said winking at her and getting up from the floor. ‘Hey’ I said smiling as I opened the door.

‘Hey, merry Christmas.’ Sam said pulling me in for a hug.

‘Merry Christmas, Sammy.’ I said leaning my head against his chest and enjoying his scent as he placed a kiss on my temple.

God, I missed this.

‘Is she awake?’ He asked.

I nodded and said ‘Follow me.’

We entered the living room where Brooklyn was still looking at her presents. ‘Is santa here?’ She asked before she saw Sam, but when she did see him, she ran into my arms.

‘No, it’s not santa, it’s someone..someone more important than santa.’ I said looking at Sam. ‘Baby, what’s wrong?’ I asked her when she hid her face from Sam in my neck again. ‘I’m sorry, Sam, would you mind if I talk to her real quick?’

‘No, no, just go ahead.’

‘Why is he here again?’ She asked me quietly when just the two of us entered the kitchen and I put her on the kitchen counter.

‘He’s here actually because of you.’ I said moving her hair to the side.

‘Because of me?’

‘But why?’

‘He wants to meet you because..what if I told you that..’ I paused ‘that he’s your daddy.’ I whispered in her ear and her face lit up.

‘Really?’ She asked smiling.

‘Yes, baby.’ I said. ‘Do you wanna go meet him?’ I asked and she nodded. ‘Alright, let’s go.’

‘Hey.’ Sammy said when we came back.

‘Someone wants to meet you.’ I said looking at Brooke who outstretched her small arms for Sam to take her.

‘Hey, baby girl.’ Sam said happily. It was so beautiful to see them finally together. They finally met each other and the moment and feeling couldn’t be any better than it already is. ‘I got you something.’ He said taking out of his pocket a small box. He opened it and took out a beautiful gold bracelet. ‘This is for you’ He said to Brooke ‘And this is for your mommy.’ He said taking out another box from his pocket and handing it to me.

‘Just take it, please.’

‘It’s pretty, I like it.’ Brooklyn said holding it in her tiny hands and looking at it making both of us smile.

‘Thank you, Sam.’ I smiled and hugged him along with Brooklyn. ‘But I didn’t get anything to you..’

‘Baby girl, the two of you are the best gift I could ever get.’

hello friends. i hope u r all doing well.

this is a possible semi-hiatus announcement. i might be a bit on/off these next few weeks. or i might pump out a ton of replies. i’m not sure yet. ima see how i feel.

i know this isn’t really anyone’s business, but i live in las vegas. i have been to the mandalay bay many times. we heard the gunshots and we heard the sirens. if i had looked, the festival was easily within viewing distance. i was less than five minutes away from the festival when the shooting happened.

we weren’t put on lockdown. at the time, we thought there were multiple shooters. people at the festival were being brought to the thomas and mack center right by my dorm. none of us knew what was happening and we were all terrified.

i know two people who were shot and several of my friends knew some of the victims.

i’m okay and i’m extremely grateful for that. but a lot of people closely tied to me and this location aren’t. please keep all the people affected in your thoughts.

thank u, friends. <3

hi!! do you have any link to interview about those bullies in 90s and Jude's thought about that he is never gonna be an actor?

He was bullied in the 80s in school. It gets mentioned here but I’m not sure how legit the source is (and I kinda hope it isn’t at all because “He was hung out of a fifth-floor window by another pupil.” is the most disgusting thing ever).

He also mentions it during the TimesTalks from last year:

“They [the kids] were pretty terrifying when I knew them as a boy. […] That’s why I was terrified of them. I was this pretty, blonde kid called Jude, who wanted to be an actor, right? Full of enthusiasm about the theater and films and I usually got thumped by them.”

And he also talks about it in the QG from July 2002, I cannot link it to you because I own the physical copy but it says the following:

“[…] Law was harassed as a boy - called a poof for his nascent intrest in acting. “It wasn’t quite teasing,” he clarifies […] “It was more like violence. When I was 11 or 12, you didn’t have a lot of kids called Jude who went to theater.” - at least not at the scrappy state school he attended. Ironically, when Law transferred to a private school, he was promptly abused for being working-class.

“I kind of got out of school what I needed,” Law says. “I had some incredible life experiences along the way, met some ruffians, some terrible people, some inspirational people. I didn’t come out of it scarred particularly, or troubled. I came out of it stronger. I always love that scene in the beginning of Broadcast News, when the Albert Brook’s character [as a child] is getting beat up and he’s lying on the ground saying, ‘You’ll never make more than $19,000 a year! You’ll never leave South Boston, and I’m gonna see the whole damn world!’” Law laughs, recognizing himself utterly.

The following quote from an Esquire interview is related directly to the hacking of his phone and not the bullying he had to endure but I feel like his experience in both schools contributed to this way of thinking:

“I think I put people’s backs up a little bit,” he says. “I don’t know why that is, but I feel like I do. […] I really don’t know, though. It might also be — and I say this with absolute seriousness — it might also be my own paranoia.”

He didn’t say he didn’t think he could be an actor but he said that “The idea of being in films didn’t really seem realistic. Movies and movie stars seemed like something a long way away, not accessible.” (x)

Monsters under the bed used to be so terrifying. But at least I knew where they were. Now they hide behind human masks on the street. Their whispers matching the ones in my head. They use false hope and illusions of grandeur to make me believe lies and fall apart. At least when I was younger, the monsters were in the closet and under the bed. Now they’re in my head, controlling my neighbours, and mimicking my friends. Now I’m not quite sure what a monster really is, let alone where to find one.

The foreign taste of the earth’s clean air filled your lungs, a large and exquisite smile forming on your face. It felt weird, nice, but weird. Your unfamiliar sense of safety was destroyed when you looked around you, at the other people around you. Who ever had the idea to send 100 teenagers to the ground, most of which without knowledge of survival, was a blatant idiot. You were sure you’d be dead within the week.

Nighttime Reassurance (Hoshi x Reader Fluff Drabble)

You jerked up from your slumber, panting heavily yet thankfully. Sweat trickling down your forehead as you put your hand through your tangled hair. You shouldn’t have watched that horror movie. Hoshi, your boyfriend, did warn you not to pick that movie. He seemed to know you better than you knew yourself. I guess he also knew you were going to deny being terrified of scary things. You looked over at your boyfriend, happily asleep.

As you looked at him, you also noticed how dark it was in the room, how there could be a murderer in here or a ghost, just watching you. You could easily jump to conclusions like that after a movie. The fear trickling in your body more before you just quickly hugged your knees. This movement made Hoshi slowly wake up.

“Jagi?” He groaned tiredly as he raised his head, his beautiful eyes locking onto you. “What’s the matter?” You looked at him and automatically he started to smile. “You had a nightmare didn’t you? I knew you that you couldn’t handle scary movies.” With that he sat up slowly, you looked down at your feet mumbling something that he definitely couldn’t here. It was along the lines of: You were right.

Hoshi looked at you for a little longer before you felt a hand come around your waist. Though you had a cold sweat, you cuddled closely to him. Your heartbeat now calm once you were in his arms. “No one can get you now since you’re in my arms.” After he said that he tickled your sides making you gasp and giggle, trying to hold his hands. “Hoshi!” You squealed.

He stopped tickling you and started laughing softly himself, “You looked so serious, it didn’t suit you. Now, how about we go to sleep now. This time, me protecting you from all the bad dreams. And, next time watching a comedy or romance movie instead.”

You smiled, feeling better about sleeping. “Okay.” Hoshi then settled back into the blankets, you following his lead. Him wrapping his arms around your waist as you faced his chest. Your bodies fitting together perfectly like a puzzle piece. You closed your eyes, snuggling into his warmth and safe arms. Before you knew it, you were drifting into sleep. Hoshi then whispered softly, not to wake you.

“Goodnight, Jagi.”
