i just wanted to doodle my clothes how did this happen

accidentally?

Based on this prompt I said I’d fill a few days ago:

boss: “know why I called you in here?”
me: “because I accidentally sent you a dick pic”
boss: “accidentally?”

yup.

(on ao3)

“You need to stop pining after people you haven’t even spoken to,” Lydia says one day, probably because Derek—er, Mr. Hale, their boss—has just stepped through the front door of the cafe where they’re having lunch, and Stiles has trailed off mid-word to watch him walk up to the counter. In Stiles’ defense, he’s never seen Mr. Hale outside of the office before, let alone Mr. Hale wearing a leather jacket over his dress shirt. God, and Stiles thought the tailored suits were bad enough…

Anyway.

“Uh, I have too spoken to him,” Stiles says indignantly, tearing his eyes away from Derek’s broad back across the room. “One day I was coming out of the break room and I almost walked right into him and he said, ‘Excuse me,’ so then I said, ‘Oops,’ and he smiled at me. Kind of. A little bit. I mean, I interpreted it as a smile. There was some prolonged eye contact.”

Lydia abruptly stops stirring her fat-free latte to stare at him—one of those Oh god, it’s worse than I thought kind of looks. “That’s it?”

Something There

Overview: Four years have passed since the war and you and Draco are now soon to be married. But as his insecurities catch up to him, he begins to wonder why someone like you would ever want to be with a former Death Eater like him. For who could ever learn to love a beast?

Word Count: About 1,400.

Warning(s): Some fluffy fluff.

Note: Draco x Reader Beauty and the Beast retelling loosely based off of “Something There” (see below).

Draco watched as you twirled around the kitchen of the Malfoy Manor, a sterling silver spoon in hand. In a cozy robe and pajamas, he thought you were quite a sight. His favorite sight in the world, nevertheless.

“One more week,” you sang. “That’s seven more days until we’re married.” After placing your dishes in the sink, you sat down at the dining table next to Draco. “Can you imagine?”

“Seeing as we already live together,” said he, gesturing to the vast interior of the manor, “I quite easily can.”

You nudged him with your elbow. “It’s still not the same. Soon, we’ll be Mr. and Mrs. Draco Malfoy.” You paused. “Has a nice ring to it, don’t you think?”

Although he replied with a nod, Draco couldn’t help but frown at the sound of his last name. What was once a word he flaunted about and held to the highest esteem had turned into a scarlet letter after the Second Wizarding War.

He furrowed his eyebrows, dragging his spoon along the rim of his bowl. Soon, you would bear the name Malfoy. Malfoy. A name tarnished and sent to Azkaban and back as nothing more than a patch on his parents’ clothing.

And the more he thought about it, the more Draco realized that wasn’t a burden he wanted to share with you.
__________

A day passed and Draco still had an unsettling feeling in his stomach. It wasn’t uncommon for him to wear long-sleeved shirts, but now he could hardly bare glancing at his Dark Mark.

Is this what being a Malfoy meant?

“Draco,” you said, climbing into the bed as you stared at his back, “what’s the matter?”

He tucked his hand under a pillow. “Nothing, love. Just tired, is all.”

“I don’t believe you.” He felt the mattress shift ever so slightly as you drew nearer to him. “Before all else, Draco, I am your friend. Before being your fiancée, your girlfriend, your anything– I’m still just your best friend.” You peered over at him, his eyes focused on the wall. “So why on earth would you expect me to believe that lie?”

Sighing, Draco turned on his other side to face you, propping himself up on his arm. He noticed the way you scrunched your nose in concern, a wrinkle appearing between your eyebrows.

“Please, tell me what’s wrong, babe,” you pleaded. Your face softened as you examined his tired eyes, bringing your hand to brush against the cold skin of his face. “Is it the wedding? Are we going into this too soon?”

“No, of course not. It’s not–” He took a deep breath, unsure of what he wanted to say. Draco captured your hand in his, pulling it near his chest. He stroked the calloused pad of his thumb against your knuckles absentmindedly. “If I had to describe you in one word, it would be perfection.”

You quirked an eyebrow, unsure of how to react. “I’m no where near perfect, but– Don’t try to change the subject.”

He let out an indignant chuckle. “I wasn’t finished. I only meant…Just look at yourself and then look at me.”

“I see a witch and a wizard.”

“Funny,” said Draco with a straight face. “But really look. Because when I look at you, I see a compassionate, intelligent woman who fights for what’s right.” His eyes darted to his clothed forearm, the black mark almost visible through his white night shirt. “When I look at myself, I see is a monster. A beast. A coward, at best.”

You stayed silent, Draco’s hand still in yours. “I think your perception is tainted,” you said, withdrawing your hand from his to gently push back at his sleeve. He caught sight of a sliver of his Dark Mark, causing him to wince. Draco saw you reaching for a black marker next to your journal on the nightstand.

You uncapped it, taking hold of his hand.

“What are you–”

You silenced him with a brief kiss on the lips. You sat up and moved his arm onto your lap. “When I see you, Draco, I see someone who shouldn’t be defined by their mistakes.”

What about the RFA and Unknown and V finding out that MC has a career in the arts (author, artist, actor or something like that?) @saeranlover

Lol it’s been like 5,000 years since I’ve done a request, here you go bbies

Yoosung:

  • It was always a lingering thought in Yoosung’s mind
  • The thought always came randomly, but sometimes he swore that he  recognized your voice
  • Like the one time you yelled “Come at me!” at a friend who was teasing you and he just froze for a second to think about why it sounded familiar
  • It wasn’t until one day he was testing out a LOLOL character he’s never played before and she screamed out a line of dialogue before her attack
  • And suddenly he heard your voice behind him perfectly recreate the line
  • He turned around to see you cheekily grinning from your place on the bed
  • But it was wiped off your face soon enough because baby boi just pounced you into a big hug
  • “MC WHY DIDN’T YOU TELL ME YOU VOICED A CHARACTER IN LOLOL I WOULD’VE PLAYED AS HER MORE OFTEN IF I KNEW.”
  • You giggled as he rapidly asked you other things you voice acted in and gawked when he recognized the other characters you’ve voiced in games and cartoons
  • He’ll shyly ask you to reenact his favorite lines or scenes and his inner fanboy will show
  • Yoosung’s never really been into the behind the scenes stuff but he already somewhat was a fan of yours before so he’s basically dating his favorite VA
  • Silly lil’ peanut is gonna ask for your autograph on his merch of the characters you’ve voiced

Jaehee:

  • She found out during one of your nights in
  • You were in the kitchen preparing the snacks while Jaehee sorted through the set of musicals the two of you had rented for tonight (you finally convinced her that watching ‘Promiscuous Jalapeno’ for the 8th time in a row was a little much)
  • Once that was all said and done, you cuddled up to Jaehee while the movie started as she fed you popcorn
  • Oh crap, you recognized this movie
  • You actually got the part of the main dancer in this film (it was your typical dance batte film)
  • You somewhat never wanted her to find out  that you were an actor/dancer in fear of always being compared to Zen
  • Once your character was introduced, Jaehee’s eyes squinted a little at the screen before gasping and shaking your shoulders
  • “MC, MC, IS THAT YOU?”
  • “U-uhm nooooo…?”
  • “Wait, why would you keep this secret from me?”
  • After explaining your reasoning as to why, she just pulled you into a tight hug
  • “I’d never compare you anyone else, I love you just the way you are, famous or not!”
  • After watching the movie, she put aside the time to scour the internet for every performance you’ve been in and is about to be the proud owner of all your merch
  • jaehee please no that was our grocery money

Zen:

  • “lolol zen have you seen mc’s latest cover?”
  • “Cover? What’re you talking about?”
  • “the one on her youtube channel???”
  • “…”
  • “you do know what she does for a living, right??”
  • After Seven endlessly mocked Zen for not knowing what his own girlfriend did for a living, Seven graciously provided the link to your Youtube channel
  • Zen then proceeded to spend the next 3 hours of his life going through
  • your entire channel
  • He knew that you liked to sing and sounded like an angel but this
  • This is something extraordinary
  • You actually made a living doing this and he never even knew!
  •  He finally made his way up to your latest cover (which was uploaded about a week ago), and HO L Y  C R A P
  • It was the song he’s practiced at home for months on end for a musical he recently just starred in!
  • When you get home that night, you’re bombarded with compliments and questions (mostly compliments)
  • You explained that you never recorded around him because you were afraid that he might’ve thought you were going to use him for popularity
  • “Babe, I know you would never do that NOW WILL YOU PLEASE DUET WITH ME–”
  • Guess who has the best mashup cover of ‘Butterfly’ now

Jumin:

  • Coming home a few hours early was indeed a rare occurrence for Jumin
  • Usually when he came home, you were instantly there to greet him with a hug and kiss
  • He called your name, but there was no response, just a faint typing sound
  • After hanging his coat on the coat hanger, he began walking towards the noise, his hands already working on loosening his tie
  • “Ah, here you are, my love,” he said upon entering the officeroom
  • “Jumin, you’re home early,” you smiled, letting your husband wrap his arms around your shoulders and resting his chin atop your head
  • “The office had to close early for some renovations,” Jumin explained, “but I’m more interested in what you’re working on.”
  • “I’m working on my next book!”
  • The surprised look on his face made you remember that you never brought it up to him before, but now is as good as time as any to explain
  • Jumin seemed genuinely intrigued as he listened to your explanation on your book series, which was apparently very popular
  • When you finished, he asked if you could lend him the first addition, as he did enjoy reading in his spare time
  • And soon enough, he was hooked
  • He’d have long talks with you over dinner on how he wasn’t expecting a plot twist or how well you wrote your characters
  • Or about how you should hurry and finish the next book because you left him on a cliffhanger

707:

  • He’s known since the background check that you had a job in digital art but he tucked that away in the back of his head because there were too many other things happening at the time (eg the hacker, your sudden appearance, his emotions and job…)
  • It isn’t until one day where he’s been able to work for a few hours straight without you lecturing him about how he should take a break
  • So he got up from his chair, slapped his right leg a few times to wake it up, and ventured outside his office to find you
  • To no surprise, you were huddled inside in the bedroom, but this time with your drawing tablet in hand
  • “Hey Saeyoung,” you tiredly muttered, eyes still glued to the laptop screen
  • His eyes trailed to where you were looking and a look of mock hurt morphed on his face, “MC, how dare you draw a picture of another man!”
  • You stifled a laugh at your boyfriend’s dramatic tone, “Zen just asked me to draw some things for his website so I’m–”
  • You should me drawing me instead! Here, I’ll even pose for you!”
  • You regret even looking behind you, because Saeyoung was already stripping down to his boxers, need I remind you the pair with cat faces on them
  • “DRAW ME LIKE ONE OF YOUR FRENCH GIRLS.”
  • “SAEYOUNG PUT YOUR CLOTHES BACK ON AND GET TO BACK TO WORK!”

V:

  • Usually you were making some sort of noise in the house, but today you were oddly quiet
  • “MC? Where are you?”
  • “I’m in the living room,” you hollered back as he started making his way over, “Be careful not to bump my arm though.”
  • “What’re you doing?” he asked, taking a seat on the floor next to you
  • You explained that you liked paint and used it as a way to make some extra pocket money
  • V was very happy and excited to hear that you had an artistic career just like him
  • You were always delighted to describe the paintings to him, and you always did it with such passion
  • After awhile, he started to miss photography and he so badly wanted to see your work for himself
  • So he decided to get the eye surgery
  • Once he did, he was shocked at how much he can see your heart poured onto the canvas
  • You often went out into nature together and sit there together for hours to photograph/paint and enjoy one another’s company
  • You also loved painting some of V’s older photographs and he loved it and every single one is framed in the house
  • #artsycouple
  • The day you painted a picture of the sun and gave it to him, he cried

Unknown:

  • The first time Saeran ever walked into your room, his eyes immediately darted to the big, colorful collection of sticky note pads on your desk
  • He picked one up, noting that every one had a slightly different drawing than the others, “What’re these for?”
  • “Oh, I’m an animator! I like to use these sticky notes when I’m bored.”
  • He never got to watch cartoons as a child so this was all new to him
  • Watching you peacefully work is very, very soothing to him, to just watch the lines fill with color so smoothly
  • You even let him have some of your already drawn-on sticky note pads and he likes to flip through them when he’s nervous or needs to calm down when something’s bothering him
  • His favorite is the one you made for him where it goes “I love you, Saeran!” with a cute little doodle of a cartoony-looking you kissing his cheek on it
  • As mentioned before, he never got to watch cartoons or movies as a kid and he’s willing to watch the ones you’ve worked on
  • It always amazes him that you made what was on the screen and he loves it (he’s never said it out loud but it shows on his face)
  • He really enjoys the ones that are story-based rather than the nonsense slapstick ones (which is what Saeyoung enjoys, much to his dismay)
  • Seeing the childlike innocence in his eyes is heartwarming and you wouldn’t trade it for the world

gin, this new comic looks A LOT different from your superman au and adulthood au, in a good way! you seem to be trying out something new, did anything inspire it???

LKASDJFLASDFKSDF OKAY I’m sorry in advance I’m going to write a Bible on this I love these kind of questions THANK YOU SO MUCH ANON lkasdjflkasdf (ノ≧∀≦)ノ

I always find very thrilling to think of the visual aspects of a new project, the style, the characterization, the atmospheres, THE SYMBOLOGY BEHIND THE COLOR it makes me vibrate in excitement..!! I think it’s rather clear I didn’t get to fully enjoy comics until I started drawing The price of a soul because I started it without any kind of expectation. Superman au is exciting, too, but in an overwhelming way: it goes from the idea I had to everything I have to draw for it, (scenery, action scenes, robots, darker atmospheres, backgrounds) whereas TPOAS is just: oH MY GOD WHAT’S NEXT OH THEY ARE PLAYING A GAME OKAY MAN WHAT TIME OF THE DAY IS IT WHAT CLOTHES ARE THEY WEARING GOSH I NEED TO DRAW THE MOST GORGEOUS ALLEN IN THE SURFACE OF EARTH LOOK AT HOW HE LOOKS AT TAMASHI OH BABY YOU’VE GOT EVERYONE WRAPPED AROUND YOUR FINGER I’M NOT CRYING WHILE DOODLING THIS PAGE ABSOLUTELY NOT WHAT IF I TRY ORANGES FOR THE BACKGROUND MONOCHROME BACKGROUND I’M

So, as you can see, there’s a huge difference in my own attitude HAHAHA But also what started as a simple, very simple project (i’m going to draw comic because I had an idea and I liked it) turned into something way bigger; this year at university I have been asked to develop a whole project every two weeks for almost every subject, so I tried to focus everything on something I could at least enjoy/find useful (see Tamashi). And? And the kid just grew on me so much I can’t believe it? The price of a soul has currently two branches of work: the comic, which is the project I want to focus on once uni is over (and finish, i’m so resolute to finish it it’s scary, I’m not sure I have ever felt this way towards anything creation-wise) and a different story which will incorporate a webpage and interactive options, which is still about Tamashi and Kanda and Allen, but the background is built on a different world than the one in D.Gray-man. I’m fascinated about all the options I have to tell Tamashi’s story, to create different sides of Tamashi’s story, to experiment, to grow. I can tell from the superman au to The price of a soul there’s like a huge step. Maybe not so much in drawing quality, I feel like I have been drawing in the very same way for two years now, but in the way I understand conceptualism, build character, moments through work on atmosphere… It’s still very immature, though? I can go through the pages of tpoas and see I messed up in here and in there, and I should have explained this one moment better, etc, but man I don’t care at all (´∇ノ`*)ノ

Currently I’m working on finishing the comic, developing a visual novel for Tamashi, creating a webpage around it and it crossed my mind multiple times to draw a The art of Tamashi book in which I get to explain deeply all the work behind it, along with collaborations of other artists on this project!! TAMASHI TOOK OVER MY LIFE AND I DIDN’T EVEN REALIZE WHEN IT HAPPENED

(The featured art belongs to Pixie, Angie and Izzy respectively)

Man I don’t really know what to say, only that my hands shake and I feel like crying regarding this project

pairing: jimin x reader

a/n: this was supposed to be a warm up!! i don’t know what happened!!

You’d be a goddamn liar if you said you didn’t know Park Jimin. Everybody knows Park Jimin, and if they don’t, everybody knows of Park Jimin.

Park Jimin walks around campus like he owns the entire university, hands casually thrown into the pockets of his expensive black pants, sunglasses balancing on top of his intentionally disheveled black hair, silver earrings and studs and rods decorating his earlobes, leather jacket not worn, but strewn over his shoulders, complementing that delicate silver chain around his neck perfectly. Or perhaps, he isn’t wearing a fully black ensemble that likely costs more than your tuition. Maybe he’s a bit more laid back, with an outrageously vibrant sweater, the Gucci logo stamped all over it, blue jeans, ripped at the knee like he had worn right through them. He’s got circular frames surrounding his eyes even though he doesn’t need glasses, a beanie or beret sitting happily on his head if he didn’t have time to put his usual amount of product in his hair, Rolex watch peeking out from the oversized sleeves of his sweater. Park Jimin knows how to wear everything and anything with confidence, flair, so he is hardly difficult to miss.

Imagine Yondu getting back at you for playing a mean prank on him (smut)

(WOAH LONG ASS SMUT 😏VERY NSFW Sorry guys I just need to get this one out of my system…I just love him so much that inspiration hit me so hard it all came out…Idk if this is a mess or not but most likely it is XD Hope you guys can somehow appreciate it :) Gif not mine/found it on google/credit to the original owner.)

You screwed up. Big time. But at least it was worth it.

~~~~
You were having a blast laughing with your friends among the Guardians at the bar when suddenly it all came to a stop the instant Yondu found his way to you.
He didn’t say anything, simply grabbing you over back to the ship, away from the others. You tried to stop him, laughing in his face about it and wanting to reveal the truth but he wouldn’t have any of it.
In the end, he had you thrown into his room and pushed you to sit on the bed. As he stood back, his gaze told you to sit up straight or else, at least you that’s what you thought.
Strangely, it was quiet. You could hear the sound of your breathing and his filling the room slightly.
The tension was too obvious yet at the same time, you wondered as to why he’d stay this silent. He did went through the trouble to make a scene and pull you away mid drink and laughter, in front of Peter his “son” and the others around.
So why was he wasn’t freaking out like he should be by now. Your eyes stared vaguely to the ground, trying your best to make light of the situation.
Dryness was suddenly being felt at your throat and instinctively you tried to clear it. To Yondu, he thought you were about to talk back at him first, and instantly he put his finger to your lips.
~~~~

He wasn’t going to let you have your way just as you had been for the last few years you’ve been together since he found you. He couldn’t afford to have another “Peter Quill” situation and let the other crew members think he had that much of a soft spot for Terrans, especially for the young ones.

He had to tighten his rules with you and now the opportunity was perfect. You screwed up and worse, you worried him. You made him look and sound like a weak old man, screaming and flipping out at his subordinates with slightly watery eyes.

All that show, after finding a neatly tucked piece of paper by his control console that wrote “I’m sorry…” and the audacity you had to add a little doodle of a sad face. Thousands of things ran through his mind when he saw that, you being taken, you selling yourself, and worse, you growing tired of him and walking out of his life.

“You…” That’s all he muttered. His eyes stared at you in anger and you knew you were in trouble. He stood back and taking a piece of paper out, he read it and only seemed to get angrier.

“Are you out of your goddamn mind, girl!” He spat at you, throwing the note over and his thick accent ringing through the room.

Pointing it at, he exclaimed, “You care to explain this?! What the hell were you thinking?!”

You sighed. You should’ve known you took this one too far. Looking at it subtly, you turned your gaze back towards his boots and let out a faint and nervous chuckle.

He knew it was coming, your nervous and cute explanation that would surely change the situation but not today. He wasn’t going to let that happen.

“Well…You see that was actually just a pra-”

“A prank!? You think that’s funny!? Playing with my damn feelings and making me look like an idiot in front of everyone for you?!”

You yelped as he suddenly made a move to grab a hold of you. His grip was rather tight and from his growl, you knew you weren’t going to be let off easy.

You were at lost for words. He just admitted probably the most embarrassing thing he could ever admit to you and to the others as well, you thought. You couldn’t say anything, his gaze was burning and making you sit still.

Shying away slightly from him, you ended up lowering your gaze and tensing within his tight grip.

Why did you had to be the way you were, he thought. He wanted to yell at you more but at this point he wanted to comfort you, and that turned him on.

Seeing you so still and wide eyed, his breathing ended up mixing with yours, somehow calming himself down from all of it. Thinking about it, he realized he had you in the palm of his hands now, whatever he wanted from you, he knew he would get it.

How about a scenario where one of Coran's experiments go wrong and it ends up turning the paladin's s/o into a child? How do they react/ what would they do?

Hooooo boy, I hope Coran is prepared for the lecture of his lifetime. Paladins are Not Happy.

Also I dunno how old you are imagining them?? You’re saying child, but I raise you “toddler”, like 2-3. Just imagine them each holding a little bab ok I live for this shit.

Coran asking you for help with oddities around the castle wasn’t unusual. The poor man was constantly overworked, trying to keep the old machine working as well as it had back when it’d been originally created, and discovering things about the new planets the team visits. So, as someone who had plenty of free time while the Paladins ran about, you’d gladly offered up your services.

It had been routine so far. Coran was just testing out a few of the samples that Pidge had collected from the last planet the team had passed by, idly poking around the lab tables while you assisted him with anything he could need. It was rather quiet, and your job as sample sorter/secretary was growing a bit tedious and your mind drifted.

Not like you could really take that many notes when Coran would simply mumble things in Altean, scribble something down in his own notebook, and continue with his work. Eventually you began to doodle, lulled by the gentle scratch of your pen across the digital notepad, idly tilting the vial nearest you this way and that in its stand.

An odd noise caught your attention, just beside you. The vial you’d been messing with had begun to shift into an odd, ominous purple from the original light orange it had been, hissing softly like trapped air was trying to escape.

“Er, Coran?” you began, when the vial exploded.

Everything went white. Agony bloomed out from the center of your chest, down to your toes and to the ends of your hair. It surged through you, like an all encompassing flame. Once the white faded, it was blessed darkness.

Coran found you, once he recovered from being thrown backwards, passed out on the ground. Sort of, anyway. It was more like a tiny, two year old version of yourself, wrapped in a bundle of your clothes, tiny chest slowly rising and falling. It was an effort to keep himself from shouting in shock when he saw you lying there, and he’d taken a moment to steady his racing heart.

How… how did that explosion..

Shaking it off, Coran knelt beside you. Slowly, and ever so carefully, he scooped up your frail body into his arms, tucking you close to his side. His hand worried along your neck, rubbing against the tense muscles there, marveling at how small you were. But worrying about how this happened would have to come a little later. For now, his priorities were: clothes, food, and telling the Paladins.

Warnings: some mild cursing, it’s also pretty long

The first night you ever met him was unforgettable; mostly because you could’ve died that night. Your boss had begged you to help close that night even though you had told him you had made plans for homework and studying that night. The diner had been hit with a sudden rush of people and none of the closing chores had been completed so he needed an extra closer. It was exhausting but you thought you could use some extra money; college wasn’t going to pay for itself. It was never too early to start thinking about it; even if you were only a sophomore.

After he’d locked the doors and thanked you for your hard work, and you turned to start walking home by yourself. “Y/N!” One of your coworkers chased you down and you looked over your shoulder to the middle-aged woman who had acted like your mother within your group of coworkers. “Lemme walk with you! It’s not safe for you to be walking around this late by yourself.” She walked by your side for most of the walk back.

When you parted ways, you were anxious to get back home. Being outside at this hour in New York wasn’t a good idea in the first place. You were turning a corner and when you looked up from your feet you noticed a menacing silhouette that seemed to be coming in and out of existence because of the flickering street light. You turned back the way you came but was met by a man with a hood over his head.

“Hello, sweetheart. Whatcha got on ya?” He grabbed your arm and you struggled to break free.

“Don’t hurt her, she’s a pretty thing.” The silhouette from before now showed his face in the pale light of the streetlamp above.

“P-Please, I don’t have anything, I swear.” You reached for your wallet and tossed it to the ground.  The man behind you picked it up and rummaged through to try and find anything of use.

“She’s got nothin’.” The man’s grip around your arm tightened and you let out a yelp of pain. “We’ll just have to take something else…” He snickered and you felt your heart beat even faster than it already was before. This is it, this is how I die… Your mind was racing and you could barely comprehend what was happening.

You missed what happened next, because suddenly you were free from the hooded man’s grip and they were plastered to the wall by some white net. When you had calmed down, you realized they were… Webs. That could only mean… Sure enough, a lanky blue and red figure stumbled a landing in the light in front of you.

“Um, are you okay?” He messed around with trying to pose himself by leaning against the lamp post and crossing his arms and just standing up straight. You would’ve laughed at the thought of Spider-Man being this awkward, but you were too thankful for his help that you didn’t care.

You practically tackled him as you embraced him. “Thank you so much. I thought I was going to die, oh my God!” You started sobbing and you could feel him tense up.

“That’s what I’m here for!” His voice sounded so young, like he was your age. You couldn’t believe your ears. He didn’t know what to do so he just stood there rigidly. “Oh gosh, please don’t cry. It’s okay now.” He gave you an awkward but reassuring pat on your back and you pulled away to wipe away the tears.

“I believe this is yours?” He held up your wallet. You accepted it and ran your hands through your hair, thinking about how you’d just missed a disaster by a second. “Would you like me to, um, take you home?”

“You mean like…” You looked up towards the tops of the buildings around you. Flying through the air like that terrified you at first, but you just wanted to get home to your bedroom. “Sure.”

“Okay, um,” Spider-Man knelt down with his back towards you and you wrapped your arms around his neck. “Hold on.” He shot a web up to the top of a building and you felt the wind against your face as you were launched up into the air. “Where to?” You gave him the street name and building number and he made course to your apartment.

You held on for dear life and kept your eyes closed most of the way home. After a couple web swings you got used to the idea of being in the air like this and opened your eyes. You almost regretted it because of how high off the ground you were, but the way the city looked from this perspective was beautiful. The lights, the street lamps that dotted the sidewalks… it seemed more peaceful from up there.

“Is this it?” You opened your eyes and saw Spider-Man sticking to the wall of your apartment building.

“Yeah,” You guided him to the fire escape that led to your bedroom window and slid from his back once you were back on solid ground. He turned to jump from his perch on the fire escape, but you grabbed his wrist. “Spider-Man? Thank you again.”

His flustered reaction was incredibly noticeable, even with that mask on, and he gave a little chuckle. “No problem, you have a nice night, ma’am.” And then he was gone; just like that. You climbed through your window and jumped into bed without changing your clothes. Falling asleep was hard because you kept thinking about how you just met Spider-Man.

You met Spider-Man?!”

That next morning you retold the story to your friends, and tried to convince them you did in fact meet the web-slinger. “You’re shitting me right now, Y/N.”

“I’m serious! These guys were trying to rob me and…” You stopped and shivered at the thought of what they would’ve done to you. “Anyways, he swooped in, stuck these guys to the wall, and saved me!”

Everyone asked you questions as if you knew him personally. It was just one night that he saved you, and they expected you to be best buds by now. Of course your friend, Ned, asked you a million questions in between periods at your locker–he was a big Spider-Man fan. Even his friend Peter, who you’d never really talked to, asked you: “What was he like?”

“Um,” you tilted your head while trying to think of how to describe him, “he was a lot more awkward than I thought he would be.”

“Oh.”

“But it was adorable in its own way.” You shrugged, and noticed Peter smirked slightly. “Well, boys, I have to go to the band room and help Mrs. Mayfield for my teacher’s aid period. It was nice meeting you, Peter.” You added and hurried down the hall.

Even while you were helping your band director you were distracted by your thoughts about meeting Spider-Man. You kept spacing off and she had to try and keep you grounded in reality. The memory of flying through the air, with the wind blowing your hair, was just so amazing. Little did you know that wasn’t the last time you’d see the Webbed Warrior of Queens. It was only the beginning.

A couple days later when you’d gotten home from school you were met with a surprise on your window. You tossed your stuff onto your bed and hurried over to see a handwritten note plastered to the glass with familiar webbing.

Meet me on the roof at 11?
–SM

There was a little spider doodled next to his signature and you didn’t know whether to be scared or excited. Why was Spider-Man asking you to meet him? It was a strange request indeed, but… what could go wrong?

The hours counting down to 11 seemed to take years; you told your parents you were going to bed and had to stare at the ceiling while waiting for the sounds of them settling down in their own room. When you thought they were asleep, you waited a little longer, and climbed out your window to the fire escape. You tried your best to keep from making so much noise, but the metal on the stairs were so rickety not even Spider-Man himself could sneak up them.

When you got to the top, you peeked your head over the edge of the roof and saw the web slinger pacing around and mumbling to himself. It looked like he was rehearsing something. When you revealed yourself he nearly jumped off the roof in shock, but composed himself. “Um, hi. I’m P-Spider-Man.” He rocked back and forth on his feet. “I mean, you knew that. What’s your name?”

You smiled and put your hands in the pockets of your sweater. “I’m Y/N. Why did you want to meet me up here?”

“Oh, right,” he scratched his head, “I was wondering if you’d like to go see some sights with me…” When you didn’t answer right away, he held up his hands defensively. “I mean, you don’t have to unless you want to.” Was Spider-Man asking to hang out with you? Why would someone like him want to be around you? You couldn’t stop a bus with your bare hands, you couldn’t fly or turn invisible; you were as normal as they came. But hanging out with Spider-Man would make for great stories in the future, plus: you were curious about him.

“I’d love to!” You beamed and he tilted his head confused.

“You do?” You tried not to laugh at how adorably awkward he was. “You do! Right…” He let you climb on his back and you wrapped your arms around his neck and legs around his torso to ensure you wouldn’t fall. “Hold on–I mean, I won’t let you fall, but,”

“Let’s go, Spider-Boy.” You interrupted and he nodded. Once again you were swinging through Queens but this time there were still some cars down below and people on the streets. It was much busier and felt a little safer than the first time you were at this height. “Where are we going first, Spider-Boy?” You rested your chin on his shoulder.

“It’s Spider-Man, And we’re going to make our way to Central Park, hopefully.” He muttered the last part and continued to shoot webs.

“Well you sound like a boy, Spider-Man, and I don’t believe you’re a day older than 16.” There was no response. “So I’m right?” Another long silence on his part.

“Maybe…” You laughed.

“I guess it’s too much to ask what school you go to.”

“Bingo.”

The ride to Central Park was a long one, but you eventually made it. It was practically empty, and the paths were lit up by the cute little street lamps. Even though you’d lived in New York for so long, you’d never really been to Central Park that often. It was more of a treat for you than it was a normal park. It looked so different at night, and you felt a whimsical presence of being out at night like this.

Spider-Man set you down on the grass and then told you to wait for a second. “I’ll be right back, promise.” He leapt off into the darkness and you could hear a bunch of webs being shot. After a couple minutes he returned and guided you to where he’d created a giant spider web spanning between multiple trees.

“Am I supposed to be impressed by this or…?”

“That’s not it, I’ll help you up.” Before you could say anything, he grabbed you and tossed you into the air like you were a rag doll. You screamed, of course, but when you landed you bounced a little, like on a trampoline. When you opened your eyes you saw that you were sitting on the giant web he’d strung up. “Sorry, I didn’t mean to scare you.” He landed next to you and sat with his legs crisscross style.

“That wasn’t cool. You scared the shit out of me.” You pursed your lips and folded your arms around your chest.

“Well, just look up.” He pointed and laid down with his hands behind his head. Still bitter about being thrown in the air, you sighed with a roll of your eyes and tilted your head upwards. The stars twinkled in the clear night sky and your frustration immediately melted away.

The two of you laid next to each other while staring at the sky for quite a bit of time. You had a ton of questions that you wanted to ask him; mostly little things about him. “So, you created the fluid you use for your webs?”

“Yeah.”

“You must be a smart kid, Spider-Boy.” You teased.

He looked away from you embarrassed. “I guess I am.”

“Okay, but who’s going to clean up all this web?”

“It dissolves after two hours. Speaking of which, what time is it?”

You pulled out your phone. “Nearly… 2 am?! I have a math test tomorrow!” You tried to get up but forgot you weren’t on solid ground and fell over. “You gotta take me home, Spider-Boy.”

On the way back he apologized countless times and you could tell his was booking it as much as he could for your place. He dropped you off at your window and said a hasty goodbye before disappearing into the skyline. You changed into your pajamas and curled up into your bed, hoping you’d be able to catch enough z’s.

The next time you found a note on your window, he took you to Chinatown, but it was still pretty busy so you got to see all the different signs and people on the streets. He took you lots of place over the next couple trips, each visit getting closer and closer to one another so that you saw him almost every other night.

Up to this point you’d decided not to tell anyone about your adventures with Spider-Man, but you couldn’t keep his most recent visit a secret. You were excited to share it with Ned and Peter because he’d taken you to Stark Tower; where the Avengers used to work from.

That was the first night he’d really taken you high up like that. It was terrifying, to say the least. He’d actually webbed your torso to his as he climbed up the building. “I’ve never been up this high before.” His voice shook ever so slightly as he looked down towards the concrete jungle below.

“I’d never thought that Spider-Boy would be afraid of heights.” You teased with a toothy grin.

“I’m not afraid of heights! I’ve never climbed a building this tall before, that’s all…”

The height was very apparent because the wind at this level was more torrential compared to the ground level. With your hands around his neck, you dug your face into his shoulder to keep your hair from getting all in your face. You were also very scared being this high, but you didn’t want him knowing that.

It seemed like a millennia before you reached the top where there was a flat platform that looked like a landing pad. Once you were on solid ground again, Spider-Man cut you free from the webbing and tossed it in the wind. The city below looked so small now.

“It’s beautiful…” you held up your hands over your mouth trying not to freak out over the sight. You heard him mutter something incoherent and turned to him. “You say something?”

“Nothing!” The lenses on his mask widened and you turned your attention back to the scene in front of you.

“You know, it seems like there’s no security here right now. I was sure we’d be caught by now.”

“Well, I asked Mr. Stark about taking you here, so he probably let someone know…” He shrugged and joined you.

“So,” you sat down and dangled your feet over the edge, “you still haven’t told me how old you are.”

“Would you believe me if I told you I was 18?” He turned to you with hope in his masked eyes.

“Absolutely not,” you laughed and nudged him, “so, what is it? How old are you, Spider-Boy?” At this point he’d accepted your nickname for him, and didn’t argue with you about it anymore.

“I’m 15.” Now you weren’t expecting him to be your age, which made him probably one of the youngest superheroes ever. Another question had been eating away at your mind for awhile, but you were too afraid to ask. It’s now or never, I guess…

“Well, does 15 year-old Spider-Boy have a girlfriend?”

“Do you have a boyfriend?” You felt your stomach do a flip when he turned his gaze to yours.

“You can’t answer a question with a question, mister!” You scrunched up your face and wagged a finger. He didn’t say anything at first, but sighed.

“No, I don’t have a girlfriend.” Good. “Th–There is a girl I’ve had a crush on for awhile now, though.” He kicked his feet and looked away from you.

“What’s she like?”

“Well, she’s beautiful, and hilarious, and kind, and strong. Very brave for climbing up this building with me.” With every word his hand had slid closer to your own, and soon they were almost touching.

“Well I have a crush on a boy, but I don’t know his name, or what he looks like, or what school he goes to. But I do know that he’s sweet, and horribly awkward.” Your hand drifted over his and you leaned a little closer to him. He mirrored and when your noses touched you laughed. “It’s kinda hard to kiss you when your mask is covering your face.”

“Oh, right.” he pulled the mask up to reveal his chin and mouth. You leaned in again and pressed your lips on his…

You kissed Spider-Man?” Ned nearly announced it to the whole cafeteria, but luckily you were sitting in their empty side of the room. “Okay, now I know you’re lying.”

“I wouldn’t make something up like that, Ned! He’s been taking me around at night for the past month or so and last night we went up to Stark Tower. I just didn’t want to tell anybody because they’d react like you just did.” You rolled your eyes and stared off at the wall to avoid looking at them.

“Okay, say you have been hanging out with Spider-Man, what’s he like?”

“He’s super smart; would you believe that he came up with the fluid for his web shooters? He told me that one night, even let me play with them. He’s a total nerd, and he’s kind of awkward, but it’s okay because he’s one of the sweetest people I’ve met.” You gushed and felt your face go red once you realized what you were saying.

“I believe you, Y/N.” Peter chipped in sheepishly. “I mean, I’m sure Spider-Man’s just a normal guy like us. I mean, if you look past his super strength and stuff.” He scratched the back of his head and you stared at him for a moment. Something about the way he always did that when he got nervous along with his voice sounded so familiar.

“Yeah… Also,” you turned back to Ned in a low whisper, “he’s not even a man. He’s only 15, like you and me.”

“Whatever, Y/N. I’m still skeptical, but I’ll give you the benefit of the doubt.”

You finished your food before the two boys and gave curt goodbyes before taking huge strides to throw your food away on the opposite end of the dining hall. “I’ll give you the benefit of the doubt; I’ll show you, Ned…” You mocked under your breath and stormed out of the cafeteria.

Little did you know, Ned and Peter were having a frantic conversation once you left. “Dude, you kissed Y/N?! You have to tell her!”

“I-I can’t; she’ll stop liking me. She doesn’t like Peter Parker, she likes Spider-Man.”

“If you don’t tell her, I will.”

“No!” He sighed. “Fine, I’ll tell her…”

When you got home that evening you rushed to your room hoping to find a note on your window. You weren’t disappointed, because sure enough there was a piece of paper stuck to the glass with webs.

Roof at 11?
-SM

You waited impatiently throughout the night; almost spilling your juice all over the dining room table at dinner, completely blanking out on your homework, it was a mess. You were so anxious to see him because you wanted to prove to Ned you actually knew Spider-Man.

When 11 pm came, you nearly bolted out your window and up the fire escape. Sure enough, Spider-Man was pacing around the roof like he usually was. He was also talking to himself again. “I can’t do that, Karen!” He said a little too loudly and noticed you were standing on the other side of the roof. “Oh, hi, Y/N!”

“Who’s Karen?” You tilted your head.

“She’s an AI in my suit. I talk to her a lot…” He scratched the back of his head.

“That… explains a lot.” You smiled and strolled closer to him. “Where are we going tonight?”

“Um, actually, I had something to tell you first.” You stopped dead in your tracks. “Well, I’m not who you think I am–No that sounds stupid, um…” He sighed and slid the mask off. You didn’t believe what you saw.

“Peter…?” The confusion was then taken over by anger. “Is this some joke? Did Ned put you up to this?” You clenched your fists and turned around to start looking for Ned’s hiding spot. “Ned! This isn’t funny you better come out here or I’ll–”

“It’s not a joke, Y/N, trust me.” He shot a web to your wrist to stop you and you finally calmed down. “I know: Peter Parker as Spider-Man, right? Don’t blame you for thinking it’s a joke.” He avoided your gaze.

“It’s not like that, Peter. I just thought Ned was playing a joke on me after what I told you guys earlier…” The hurt in his eyes was killing you. “You’re not a joke, Peter. I just wasn’t expecting Spider-Boy to be someone that I knew, that’s all.”

He looked up and was met with your reassuring smile. “Um, I’d understand if you don’t want to go out tonight… Now that you know Spider-Man’s Peter Parker and all…”

“Peter,” you took some steps closer to him, “Spider-Man and Peter Parker are the same smart, adorable, and sweet person I’ve grown to like.” Now you were just as close as you were the night before when you kissed him. It was different tonight, though. Something about finally knowing who you’d been crushing on for awhile made it seem more exciting and thrilling. You leaned in and kissed his forehead. “Where to, Spider-Boy?” Peter was too flustered to reply and you chuckled.

“Right,” he threw his mask back on, “I was thinking star gazing again.”

“Lead the way, Peter.” You climbed onto his back and couldn’t stop smiling the whole way to the park.

Prompt: Betty and Jughead fall asleep in the blue & gold office while working their butts off trying to finish some articles. Betty's mom freaks out when she doesn't come home and thinks that Betty and Jughead were doing more than just napping together. She then locks Betty in her room and Jughead sneaks her out and they go on the adventure of your choice.

Sure thing! I hope you like it.

The Adventure

“Juggie, I’ve just got to finish this paragraph.” Betty promised.

Jughead yawned again and nodded.
“You can head home, Jug, I know you didn’t get much sleep last night.”

Jughead shook his head this time and looked squarely at Betty. “No way, I’m going to walk you home.” Jughead smirked. “That’s what people like us do.”

“Okay, I’m almost done.” Betty smiled, clicking away on the computer keys.

Jughead yawned again and strolled over to the tiny couch in the corner of the office. Why there was a tiny couch in this room - or the lounge downstairs - he didn’t know. But at this moment, it was deeply appreciated.

Jughead propped his hands behind his head and stretched his legs out before him, resting them on a table.

He closed his eyes for just a second, listening to Betty’s beating of keys across the room.

He was comfortable but too warm, he decided. He shrugged out of his coat, then his flannel, leaving him in a tshirt and jeans.

He rested his head back against the top of the couch as Betty shuffled over to him.

“Ready, Jug?”

“Betty,” He started, cracking one eye open to look at her. “You wouldn’t believe how comfortable this old couch is.”

Betty smiled. “Oh yeah?”

Jughead reached out for her hand. “Sit with me.”

Betty did, cozying up to Jughead’s side. He wrapped an arm around her shoulder, pulling her closely.

Jughead let out a deep breath, content.

Betty nuzzeled her head into Jughead’s chest and closed her eyes. He was right - this was comfortable.

Betty’s eyes opened as Jughead rearranged his hold on her - it was dark outside. Really, really dark. It was dark in here. Betty jumped up, looking for her phone. Shit, where was it? She was dead.

“Jughead, wake up! We fell asleep!” The panic was rising in her.

Betty could feel her usually taut ponytail slumping to one side of her head, pieces of hair falling over her face.

Jughead’s shirt was half way up his stomach, looking worse for wear. He was still asleep, a half smile crossing his face.

“Jughead!” Betty whispered again, shaking his shoulder.

His eyes cracked open this time, and the smile widened on his face. “‘Morning, Gorgeous.”

Betty couldn’t help but smile back. “It’s not morning,  Juggie, we fell asleep at school. My  mom is going to kill me when-”

They heard clicking down the school hall.

“Shit,” Betty whispered, throwing Jughead’s flannel at him. Where was her phone!?

The clicking of the shoes got louder and as Betty reached her desk - finally, there was her phone - The Blue and Gold office door flew open, Alice Cooper standing in the doorway.

“Elizabeth, do you have any idea what time it is?!” Alice roared into the room, looking prestine as always.

“No,” Betty said lamely.
“It’s after midnight. What were you-?” Alice zeroed in on Betty’s unruly hair, then scanned the room.

Jughead was fighting to get his flannel on.

“What the hell were the two of you doing in here?”

Betty looked over to Jughead trying to get his clothes on, the hat that had slumped to the back of his head. His tshirt was still slightly wrinkled and sat just above his bellybutton. She smoothed her hair down, knowing she looked guilty doing it.

“Nothing,” Betty said, head high. She knew what happened - and what didn’t. “We were just working on the paper, Mom.”

“I won’t have you acting like Polly did, Elizabeth.”

“We were working on the paper.” Betty said again.

Alice grabbed for Betty’s arm, steering her towards the door.

Jughead shrugged on his coat, following behind the Cooper women. He knew better than to say anything, but he still wanted to keep an eye on them.

It was a silent car ride back to the Coopers - Jughead squeezed Betty’s hand as she got in the car, but kept walking. He wasn’t crazy enough to ask Alice for a ride.

Alice had yelled at Betty for five minutes when they got home - she already had one pregnant daughter, she didn’t need to - despite Betty’s protests that she had the wrong idea of what had happened at school.

Alice had ended up locking Betty in her room, saying she would unlock the door in the morning.

“What if I have to pee?!” Betty called, rolling her eyes. Her mother was so dramatic.

Betty changed out of what she had worn to school and into leggings and a large sweater.

She sat down at the edge of her bed, head in her hands. If only Alice hadn’t walked in when she had - Betty barely had time to reflect on how much she had enjoyed her time with Jughead. The best sleep of her life, packed into just a few hours.

She smiled, and suddenly there was a quiet tap on her window.

Betty looked over at her window, a bigger smile spreading across her face as she saw Jughead. She slid open the window.

“You on house arrest?” Jughead smiled.

“She locked me in here!” Betty hissed.

“I guess she forgot you have two windows.”

Betty smiled and rolled her eyes.

“You up for an adventure?”

“What kind of adventure?”

“Do you trust me?” Jughead murmured.

“Of course I do.” Betty smiled. “Hold on.” She went to her bed, fluffing up her blankets and arranging the pillow just so, just in case. She knew her mother wouldn’t check on her - she would never expect her to climb out the window.

Betty walked back to the window, looking out to see Jughead already at the bottom, holding the ladder for her.

She quickly made her way to the bottom, taking Jughead’s hand as she stepped on the grass. “Where to?”

“I’ll show you.” Jughead smiled at Betty in the dark. They strolled down the sidewalks, passed Archie’s house, around a corner, until they came to a stop.

Betty recognized this house - it was Jughead’s old house.

“What are we doing here?” Betty whispered.

Jughead kept walking into the back yard, pulling Betty along with him. They stopped in front of an old treehouse.

“The treehouse!” Betty said excitedly. “I forgot about this thing!” Betty started climbing up the old wooden boards.

She ducked her head inside, Jughead following her quickly.

It looked exactly how she remembered it. There were drawings marked into the wood with crayon, a trunk full of comic books, a notebook full of doodles and ‘secret code’. There was a skipping rope, as well as a pack of gum and a tennis ball in the corner.

“The people that bought your house never checked in here?” Betty murmured as she sat in front of the comic book trunk.

“They’re elderly, they didn’t have any children. I heard that they were thinking of knocking it down, but it hasn’t happened yet.”

Betty passed Jughead a comic book.

“I tried sleeping in here, once, after my dad started drinking again. It was pretty risky though - if anyone saw me, they’d call the cops and I’d be right back with him. Plus, it’s pretty uncomfortable.”

Betty looked at Jughead sadly. She had just recently learned about Jughead’s situation. She reached out and squeezed his hand.

They spent the next hour flipping through comic books, trying to decyfer the code in their notebook.

Jughead intertwined his fingers with Betty’s. “Ready for the next stop?” Jughead asked.

“There’s more?” Betty said excitedly.

The climbed out of the treehouse carefully, tiptoeing through the back yard, away from the house.

The night wasn’t too cold - there were stars shining above them, noises coming from different parts of the city around them.

They walked quickly, both of them excited. They gripped each other’s hands.

Eventually, they found the closed Drive-In.

Betty turned her head to look at Jughead, but he just smiled.

She followed him to the projection office.

He slipped a key out of his pocket, unlocking the door.

“They haven’t torn it down yet, obviously, and I just wanted you to see inside. I love it here.”

Betty followed him inside, looking around as she did so. “Jug, there’s so much stuff in here. Are you sure you don’t want any of it?”

She looked around, seperating her hand from his. She looked at the shelves, fingering the different rolls of film.

She looked at the different titles, noticing some of Jughead’s favorites.

Jughead was sitting on the small bed that fit into the room, playing with the pillow.

“Can you put one on?” Betty murmured.

“I can’t project it outside, in case someone sees. But I can play one for just us.” Jughead smiled, walking to the machine.

Jughead looked through the different titles, picking one and putting it on. The projector was loud.

“What’s this?” Betty asked, nodding her head to the movie.

“The Killing from 1956. It’s a Stanley Kubrick. It’s one of my favorite lesser-knowns.” Jughead murmured as the movie started.

Betty sat next to Jughead on the small bed, realizing why the Drive-In had meant so much to him. Not only did he love his job, it was his home.

Betty traced little patterns over Jughead’s skin absent-mindedly, both of them enjoying the movie.

Jughead leaned back, and Betty leaned back with him. She rested her head on his shoulder, enjoying the movie but enjoying his company more.

More than halfway through the movie, Jughead turned his head the best he could, trying to see Betty’s beautiful face.

“Betty?” He murmured.

She leaned forward, away from his chest, to look at him. “What?”

He grazed his lips slowly against hers before locking her lips between his. He had wanted to do that since they woke up at school.

They stayed like that, gently kissing in the dark, the light from the movie alighting their faces.

The movie reached the end of the roll, bringing Jughead back to reality.

“Okay,” He said, taking a deep breath. “One more surprise.”

Betty smiled and took his hand to get up off the makeshift bed.

“Jughead?” Betty said, stopping him before he had the chance to open the door. “Are you sure you don’t want any of these old movies?”

Jughead shook his head. How would be play them, anyway?

Betty nodded, grazing the shelf that held the film cannisters. It was dusty. She found the one she was looking for and slipped it in her sweater pocket.

“Ready?” Jughead smiled.

Betty nodded and took his hand, leaving the booth behind them.

She was surprised at how light the sky looked above them. Sure, they’d been out for hours. But Betty expected darkness - they left the house in darkness, after all.

They strolled through the grass, the dampness from the dew touching their ankles.

She knew better than to ask Jughead where they were going - he was a sucker for surprises. He wouldn’t ruin them.

They didn’t go far, just passed the Drive-In, there was a park that was hardly ever used.

They walked between the dense trees, spotting a play-structure for children, rows of swings and a teeter-totter.

Betty walked directly to the swings, sitting down in one. She expected Jughead to sit beside her, but he didn’t. He walked behind her, gently pushing on her back so that she would swing back and forth.

A smile spread across her face. She hadn’t been pushed on the swings since she was a toddler.

“Hey, what movie did you swipe from back there?” He laughed.

“A Rebel Without A Cause.” Betty admitted. “I feel like it’s our movie.” She blushed. “I wanted it, even if I don’t have anything to play it on. It’s ours.” She said.

Jughead was terrified - he hadn’t planned this night, it wasn’t elaborate. He had thought of it at the last minute, walking home by himself, thinking of the best sleep of his life that he had just awoken from.

Why not show all the places he loved most to the girl he loved most?

And then, he realized, that he had just come clean to himself. He loved Betty. He loved Betty?

He loved Betty and he was going to tell her.

He looked upwards towards the sky, then stopped pushing against her back. She swung gently a few times around him before coming to a stop.

“It’s almost time,” He said, a shy smile on his face. He walked around the front of her, extending a hand so she could jump down.

“Time for what?” She smiled.

They walked over to the grass, keeping each other’s hand in their grasp.

Jughead pulled her down onto the dew-soaked grass, then layed down. Betty did the same.

The sky changed from the dark, intense blue to a lighter blue, stars disappearing.

Eventually they saw whisps of clouds appear, dotting the sky. There were purples and pinks decorating the sky above them.

Jughead turned his head to look at Betty - she was smiling, in awe.

“I’ve never watched a sunrise before,” Betty murmured.

“Betty, I love you.” He rushed out. There. There was no taking it back, no pretending it didn’t happen.

She was the first person beside his father, sister or mom that he had said that too.

Betty rolled onto her elbows, propped up to look at him.

“You love me?” She whispered.

Jughead nodded slightly. “I love you.” He whispered back.

“I love you, Jughead.” She smiled. “This was the best night of my life.” She murmured, dipping her head lower to kiss him.

Jughead kissed her back, tears pricking his eyes. The girl he loved, loved him too. He blinked them away, breaking the kiss.

“You’re missing the sunrise.” He murmured.

“You’re better than the sunrise.” She smiled, kissing him once more.

They stayed like that until the sky was light. They stood up, clothing wet, hand in hand.

“We better get you home before your mom realizes. I don’t want her to castrate me.” Jughead said lightly.

Betty shook her head. “Me neither. I wouldn’t let her touch you, though. Nobody touches the person I love.” She smiled, bumping her hip against him.

“That’s my girl.” He laughed.

Title: Pain of Parting
Character: Jonathan Byers
A/n: I loved jonathan so much during the first season, his character was really interesting so I decided to write somethin’ for him. I guess we could call this angst so there’s your warning if that’s not your jam.

“Do you have to go?” Jonathan asked as he sat cross-legged on your bed, chin in his hands as he watched you move clothes from your closet to a large suitcases that laid open at the foot of your mattress.

“You know I have to,” You told him as you met his gaze with a smile. “My family always insists that we go up to the lakehouse every odd summer. We haven’t been up there in over three years. So yes, I do.”

Jonathan got quiet, his hands were busy pulling at loose peices of string that had been caught on one of your blankets.

You looked up from your folding and noticed the sad expression on his face. You’d known him for a handful of years, and you knew he wasn’t very much of a people person. Apart from you, he didn’t have many close friends.

You set aside your clothes and sat down beside him. “You shouldn’t be sad, I’m only going to be gone until August,” You told him, reaching up and running your hands through his hair. “You can phone me whenever you’d like, and I’ll write to you. Two months and I’ll be right back

Jonathan moved his head to your shoulder, his eyes closing whenever you continued to play with his hair. “Really?”

You looked down at him. “Have I ever let you down before?”

•~•

Jonathan stopped over by your house the day you were supposed to leave, he wanted a chance to say goodbye.

You were already out in the drive away, helping your dad figure out a way to put all the suitcases into the trunk of the car.

“Here, I’m gonna get a few more things from the house. Maybe your mother will be better at this.” Your dad said, giving you a small tap on the nose before jogging inside.

You brushed off your hands on your overalls before you looked over and saw Jonathan awkwardly standing to the side with his hands in his pockets.

“Jonathan!” You called, waving him over. “Come to say bye?”

Jonathan nodded, shifting his weight back and forth as he tried to think of what to say. “I already said it, but I’m gonna miss you.”

You smiled at him. “Don’t be like that, when I come back you talk my ear off about all the stuff you did and we’ll still have all of August to hang out.”

Jonathan met your gaze and he reached out to pull you into a hug.

You laughed and returned his embrace, pulling away as you gave him a big kiss on the cheek. “I’ll see you soon.” You told him, taking a step back towards your car.

“Y-Yeah, I’ll see you.” He told you with a wave.

You waved back before turning on your heel.

You walked about five paces before Jonathan called you back.

You went to turn around but Jonathan was already there, and before you could even process anything he bent down and gave you a quick kiss.

“Bye.” Jonathan said once he pulled away and quickly made a run for it down the street while you watched him with wide eyes.

•~•

“Jonathan!” Joyce called as she entered the house, her hands busy shuffling through the mail she collected. “You have something from (Y/n)!”

Jonathan came quickly out of his room, only coming to a halt whenever he was in front of his mother. “Yes?”

Joyce looked up at her son and smiled, she handed him a letter and a cardboard box. “These are for you.”

Jonathan took them and a bright smile showed up on his face as he looked down at them. “Thanks.”

He hurried back into his room, setting the box aside on his nightstand before he tore apart the envelope.

You wrote about how nice the lakehouse was, how pretty the scenery was and about all the little adventures you and your family had so far on your trip.

Jonathan noticed you had drawn small doodles of rabbits and frogs all over the paper, they were even painted with the set of watercolors he had given you on your birthday.

He saved up for them for months, and it showed by how proud he was when he gave it to you and saw that you loved it.

“I sent along a box as well,” Jonathan read as he looked over and grabbed it, taking a minute to tear off the tape, he looked inside to find a small collection of things.

“The pencils are for Will, he had given me some of his drawings to keep and I thought he might like these. The earrings are for your mum, and be sure to tell her that I insist she accept them, she deserves it.

I’ve got you a gift as well, but I plan to give it to you in person.

Lots of love,”

•~•

Everyday after that, Jonathan had made it a habit to ask his mother if there was a letter from you.

“Anything from (Y/n)?”

“Did (Y/n) send a letter today?”

You would send at least one every week, but he still felt the need to ask just in case.

Until one day he noticed about two weeks had passed without word from you. Joyce would come home and gently let him know there was nothing, but reasoned the post was just being slow or you were busy with your family.

And at first Jonathan understood, he thought it was a reasonable explanation, so he stopped worrying about it.

Jonathan was driving home from picking a few things up from the grocery store for his mom, but he drove by your house and noticed that your family car was parked in the driveway.

You would have called to let him know you were coming home early, you probably would’ve gone to his house yourself if wasn’t late.

His curiosity was peaked, and he parked his car across the street before ringing your doorbell.

“Hello?” Your sister answered the door, and Jonathan was slightly taken back by her appearance.

Her eyes were puffy and red, she looked like she’d been crying for hours.

“Oh Jonathan, it’s you.” She said as she sniffed, wiping at her eyes with her shirt sleeve.

“Yeah uh, is (Y/n) here?” He asked, slightly alarmed by how distressed she looked.

If possible, her face got even more somber. “I guess it’s best to just tell you, but…” She broke off into a small series of sobs before continuing. “We were up at the lakehouse, and her and dad went out on the boat. No one knows what’s happened to them but they’ve been missing for a couple days.”

It took Jonathan a few moments to register what she was saying, and he was surprised by his lack of reaction.

“Of course, we don’t want to assume the worst, but no one can find them and it’s been days.” She said with a vacant laugh before shaking her head. “Wait here for a moment.”

Jonathan watched her disappear into the house, trying to understand why his mind was going blank at a time when he should feel sad or angry even.

But he didn’t.

“She mentioned that this was for you,” Your sister said once she returned. “She seemed pretty proud of it.” There was that sad laugh again as she held a wrapped package out to him.

“I’m so sorry,” Jonathan said, taking it from her.

Your sister nodded, her hand was now covering her mouth as tears piled up at the edges of her eyes. “She was very fond of you, talked about you a great deal.”

Jonathan looked up at her. “I’m sorry.”

He couldn’t think of anything else to say.

•~•

Jonathan drove home in silence.

He didn’t even turn the radio on.

When he stepped through his front door he was met with more silence, Joyce must have been working late again.

Jonathan closed his door whenever he went inside, his eyes remaining fixated on your present to him.

He didn’t want to open it.

You told him you wanted to give it to him in person.

You told him you were going to come back.

Why didn’t you come back?

Jonathan’s hands were tearing away at the wrapping before he registered what he was doing. He then pulled out a leather sketchbook, he could vaguely remember times whenever you’d come over to his house and you’d be doodling around in it, refusing to show him the end results.

He undid the leather straps that kept it closed, and flipped through the first couple of pages.

He wasn’t surprised to find several pencil sketches of various animals, rabits and little mice in particular. Some of them were life-like while others were dressed in little jackets and hats, having tea parties by a river.

Jonathan moved to sit on the edge of his bed, despite the whirl of emotions going through his head, he found himself smiling.

To his surprise, the next pages were filled with portraits. Some were of him, others were of Will or even Joyce, they were all smiling in each of them.

He spent the next couple of minutes going through the rest of it, and he found himself growing disappointed whenever he was reaching the end.

On the very last page, there was a small handwritten note instead.

“I’ve been working on this one for awhile, but I thought you’d like to have it once it was finished.

I know you’re not a fan of pictures of yourself, but I hope you won’t mind a few sketches.

All my love xx
(Y/n)”

You always had nice handwriting, it was always in cursive.

Suddenly, a wet spot appeared onto the page, Jonathan didn’t even realize it until it started smudging your signiture.

Another one showed up on the corner of the page, and he brought his hand up to realize tears were falling freely from his eyes.

A few tears slowly turned into sobs, then he was laying on the side of his bed, holding your sketchbook tightly against his chest while he cried.

Why didn’t you come back?

(PENNYWISE X FEMALE READER)

Okay! So, I am traveling right now, so I will have a bit of time to write, so I thought, why not try this out? @filthygum gave me some ideas, so here we go!! (Thank you so much!!!)

I don’t blame my mind.

Chapter 1

You were always a quiet, loner girl, and didn’t really have a lot of confidence, so you never really questioned the fact of having no friends, it was fine for you. The time came for you to move, and, you ended up in a small town called ‘Derry’ and started to go to school in the morning, working at noon and passing out at night, soyou could pay for your little apartment close to a street called Neibolt.

The things that you were famous about at school were: you were a talented, but freaky artist, always doodling monsters in your book, in a way that would send shivers down anyone’s spine. And: you were the 'loner girl that no one messes with.’

Because of your aggressive reputation, that you gained when standing up for a boy from your class, that was being bullied by 'The Bowers’ because of his weight. Basically what happened was that you and Henry got into a really bad fight, you got really hurt, but he was way more hurt than you, so technically you won.

Because of that, no one talked to you, scared that they would get punched in the face or sacrificed for demons. But you didn’t care, it was still better than your old school, you just couldn’t forget how disgusting the boys were, and how they would flirt with you and try to touch you, because of fear, you became violent andkept spacing out, never really talking to anyone, unless it was necessary.

No one knew about that fear, and you hoped that it would stay that way. During lunch, no one would go and ask if they could sit with you and no one tried to steal your money, so it wasn’t the worst scenario.

One day, that you didn’t really have to work, you were walking home after class, when you heard some familiar voices whispering and laughing, you looked back, it was the Bowers, you tried to walk faster, when you felt one of them grab your arm, they dragged you into their car and held you still, pushing you out of it on theground and standing around you.

You jumped as fast as you could, getting up and looking around, to try and understand where they brought you to, it was close to a river of some sort. The guy that was standing behind you grabbed you by the hair while Henry held your chin tightly, staring into your eyes, in a menacing way:

“My, my,could it be that our strong, satanist girl is scared?! That’s new…”

You squirmed around, scratching his arm, and said:

“Leave me alone!! I didn’t do anything to you!”

“Oh, you did, freak, trying to defend that tub of lard that you don’t even know, made the whole school think that I’m a pussy. I’m gonna show themwho I really am.”

He laughed in a dark, almost psychotic way.

He grabbed you by the shirt and pushed you into the river, the water was cold, and you felt him and another boy holding your head down. Panic took over you, and you started moving, pulling their feet and squirming your legs until they let go of you.

Once your face met with air, you took a deep, noisy breath, gasping and gagging while staring at them, when they got inside the car. Henry got up and said:

“What a shame, Y/N, you are actually a very pretty girl, but I wouldn’t even try to fuck a weird ass bitch like you.”

He smirked and got into the car. You hissed and screamed asloudly as you could:

“AS IF I WOULD WANT TO FUCK AN ASSHOLE WITH A NEEDLE DICK LIKE YOU, BOWERS!!”

They left, while Henry made a sour face at you, pointing his finger at your face. After they got out of there, you got up and looked around, still a bit dizzy, shaking in terror and because of the ice cold waterthat was covering your body from head to toe, you noticed that you were close to the sewers and that there were a lot of plants around.

You climbed up a small hill and sat over the concrete tunnel, the entrance for the sewers, so you could catch your breath and calm down a bit. You were filled with fear, but slowly relaxing, feelingsafe because you were on your own once again.

You heard something from the tunnel, and quickly crossed your legs, so they wouldn’t be hanging. It slowly started to sound like a familiar song, that you couldn’t really tell where you heard it. A music box playing a slow, almost creepy, circus song.

You started humming along once you recognized the song, and it stayed like that for almost fifteen minutes straight, once the music stopped, you felt a bit curious, but it was getting late, so you decided to just go home.

Crossing the small forest over the hill, you got to the kissing bridge, so you already knew where you were. Your hair was soaking and your clothes were still a bit wet, so you just dragged yourself across the city until you got to Neibolt.

Getting inside your small room, you grabbed some clothes, took a really hot bath and went over to the desk, grabbing your sketchbook, some pencils and erasers.

You started smiling toyourself and humming the music from the music box, so you just decided that you would try to draw a Jack-in-the-box toy, with a sort of creepy, but cute clown coming out of it.

Something that amused you was how you could concentrate in some small things like drawing or writing, but never in work or studies.

You stayed there for almost two hours, until you finished the drawing, it looked just like what you imagined that was happening down there, the water was perfectly shaded, leaving some light on front of the toy, as if it was close to the entrance of the tunnel, while the clown was dangling over, but almost straight, on the right sideof the box.

You never really colored your drawings, but you pictured the little puppet wearing a red, black and white vest, with dark blue hair and red lips, showing a disturbing smile, with crooked, sharp teeth, it’s eyes were soulless, looking straight at you.

Suddenly, you heard a small 'tap’ on the window, it was starting to rain. You pushed your chair towards your window, staring blankly out of it, smiling softly. It was the perfect night for you, quietly by yourself, after a hot bath, in a stormy, windy weather.

However, you couldn’t stop thinking about what Henry saidand did, so you just sat there, questioning yourself: 'Why do I try to protect people that I don’t know and I don’t protect myself?’ 'Is this why no one gets near me?’ 'Are they scared of me?’ 'I guess that if I show that I am insecure, people will think that I’m weak.’ 'Am I really just some weird freak?’

All of these questions enrolled your mind, so you just decided that you wouldn’t care, everyone got bullied anyway, so you weren’t a special case at all. The other people around would get called fat, useless, slut, faggot, trashmouth and things like that, so, by your point of view, being a freak wasn’t all that bad.

Some time passed after you forgot about the bad thoughts and you were still looking at the rain, totally relaxed, as you noticed a light sound coming from the window, as you got up, you noticed that it was the music box once again. You felt your body tensing up and chills covering your skin, but you just breathe it in and thought to yourself: 'It’s just a stupid toy, it can’t hurt me.’ And opened the window slowly.

The toy was sitting right at your window, just standing there, you looked around and a little far was a figure, wearing white and red, you blinked a few times and it got even closer. You just froze when you saw a tall, slim figure of a clown standing on your backyard, looking at you, while the music started to play slower and slower until it stopped and a small clown popped out of it, you couldn’t even breath when you saw that it was just like the one you drew.

You were completely terrified, not able to think straight, you just ran into your house and tried to hide from that thing. He crawled in by your window and slowly walked around, almost like he was feeling your scent.

You couldn’t even move when you were laying on the ground, looking up at a almost seven feet tall clown, looking down at you and mocking you, shaking his arms and legs and laughing.
He was drooling, eyes looking yellow and somehow in different directions.

For some reasons, your fear slowly got drained by your curiosity, and you started looking at all the details. The position of every single hair, his makeup and the color mix used, the folds on his clothing, along with the bells. Your mind got so used to the monsters that you created that, in a situation where you would be risking your life, you wouldn’t even realize. Creatures did not scare you anymore, humans did.

You decided to get up, slowly while backing off, you didn’t mean to look all fierce or anything like that, you were just so amazed by him that you couldn’t help yourself. So you just let out the question:

“W-who are you?”

You said, with your enthusiastic but shaky voice. He was still much taller than you and just tilted his head, looking down at you, as if he didn’t understand what you said. Do you just tried to repeat, slower this time:

“Um… I’m Y/N! Who are you?”

He grinned in a curious way and bowed down, as if he was performing, and answered with a creaky voice, while looking at you:

“Well, Y/N, I am Pennywise, the dancing clown!”

He let out a freaky laugh and stood up. You were completely relaxed now, just curious, still looking at every little thing you could, so at this point he just looked a bit bored, but curious. He decided to look into your fears, but you had nothing specific, you were only scared of certain people, from your old town.

Mean while, your mind took note of everything that was happening and that he was doing. Your eyes followed his every move, and he noticed that. To play around a bit, he waved and giggled. Because of your 'trance’ you looked at his arm waving, as if you were hypnotized, as soon as you noticed that you shook your head quickly and tried to make eye contact with him:

“*Laugh* Well, Y/N, I will see you around. Just passed by to give a gift for moving to Derry~ I hope you like it.”

You looked out the window and before you could even open your mouth, he was gone. You grabbed the music box and closed it, pushing the clown into it, as you were slowly absorbing what happened. You just thought that you could do that tomorrow, you never payed attention to school anyways.

Meanwhile, Pennywise was heading back to the sewers, making himself invisible for humans. He just couldn’t understand, any other person would be terrorized and he would have had a feast, but why were you so natural? Why did that look so normal for you? At that point, he was already questioning if you were even human. So he just decided that he would take some of his time to watch you, he had to find out what scared you, and now that was stuck on his head, no one would change his mind.

Essays in Existentialism: Once

Prompt : Clarke and Lexa have a one night stand… and then another… and another. Until they just leaves clothes at each other’s place.

“This was fun,” Clarke nodded, pulling her shirt down and searching for her pants. The room was almost lit from the streetlight outside, though it was clouded and muted in the rain. Her shirt was still damp from the sprinting across the street in the storm, but she didn’t have an alternative.

“Yeah,” Lexa nodded, still propped in the bed watching it happen. She hovered her hand over the lighter as she lit the end of a cigarette she didn’t particularly want, but needed as a shield against having nothing to do with her hands. “Did I earn your number at least?” She watched the blonde chuckle and find her pants as she tossed the lighter onto the side table. Clarke began to pull them on as Lexa sat up in the bed, still naked and tingling. Though spotless, she found an old cup to flick ashes into.

“Was I wearing my jacket?”

“No.”

Queen Ambassador (Chapter 1)

Your name was Sophia, and you had no idea how you ended up in this mess.

You came from a small town in New Jersey, near the shore but not near enough to be surrounded by homes that were reserved only for summer vacations. You considered yourself average, as far as people go, so the fact that you’d just been ‘abducted’ by aliens was more than shocking to you. Sure, you knew Earth had established connections with other lifeforms, it had been all over the news when NASA made contact with some aliens who had been traveling around in search for allies in some intergalactic war they were facing, but you never thought that you’d suddenly be swept up from your home to act as ambassador for the human race. You were barely qualified, as far as you were concerned.

That’s not what they thought, though. Most of the world’s governments had been negotiating peace with these foreign beings for quite some time, but in order for Earth to be seen as a proper ally to their new friends, a human was meant to come with them. Many had offered themselves up, but the alien’s leader refused. They demanded they pick out someone themselves, only this way could they make sure the ambassador was fit for the job they needed them to do.

You’d been in school when the aliens came. Under orders of the government, your school orchestrated an assembly for all of those turning who were or were turning 18 within the next 6 months. The aliens wanted someone young and willing to learn, but not so young that they’d be immature. They’d also mentioned they were looking for someone with strength, for the job of being an ambassador was not easy. The idea of space travel was more than enough to keep you interested in their investigations, but you weren’t sure if you wanted to leave Earth. You were almost out of high school, you’d been accepted into a college already, and you were looking forward to building your own future. The fear of not being able to live a normal, happy life was the only thing holding you back from outright saying you were interested in the position…but then again, you didn’t think you’d be picked in the first place, do you didn’t worry much.

That was, until the actual assembly. You sat in your chair, trying to keep your cool as your principle introduced the leader of the aliens you’d heard so much about. You couldn’t hold back the gasp that went through you when you actually saw him, though.

He was huge, and barely humanoid. He resembled something like a centaur, if a centaur’s lower half was made of a 6 legged insect. His skin was a darkish green color, with silver-grey eyes and dark black hair to match. You could also knew he bore insect-like wings on his back thanks to the internet, but they were currently hidden under some very intricate clothes he wore. Much of his attire was made up of darker green and blue colors, accented by silver jewelry and a simple crown-like band to match on his forehead. Not only was he stunning, but he was very, very intimidating.

“….Friends, my name is Orotorco, 9th leader of the planet you call ‘Spade 8H2’.” His voice, while deep and booming, was obviously not used to using English. He had problems pronouncing his own planet name, and was having even more trouble trying to seem welcoming. You sensed he wasn’t trying to be threatening, and something in you relaxed. If he was making a genuine effort to be kind, you doubt he could be that bad of a person.

“As your principle just said, me and my kin are on a hunt for a representative for your kind. Only when one is found, can our alliance be made strong. We have worked in tandem with your kind to find someone suitable, and we have concluded that someone from this area would best for the job.” He explained, “My daughter, the next ruler of my planet will decide who comes with us, for she will be the one you will have to work with every step of the way.”

Your eyes drifted to the side of the stage as another alien stepped into view. Much like her father, she was large and spider-like, but she was bluer in color and sported some short, pointed horns from her forehead. She wore blue and purple clothing with white accents, much more simple than her father’s attire. You were far away from the stage, so you couldn’t see it clearly, but you’re sure you saw silver rings around her neck, establishing her role as royalty.

She came to the microphone, her voice just as uncertain as her father’s when it came to speaking English. “My name is Uros, next leader-to-be. I will be assessing potential representatives based off of poise, strength, grace, and talent. I hope you don’t mind me asking questions throughout this process.”

You won’t lie, her voice was like honey to you. While it was clear she was nervous, you felt something warm blossom in your stomach as she gazed over the crowd. It was clear you weren’t the only one, however, many seemed more at ease after she showed up.

After a few more words of encouragement and explanation, your principle dismissed you back to your classes. Uros would be drifting between classes, observing how students worked and questioning those who she thought would fit. It was almost the end of the school-day when she entered your math class. You held your breath as she made her way over to your desk, starring curiously at your paper. You felt embarrassed, to say the least, since your worksheet was barely finished. Instead, it was filled with doodles, making your paper seem messy.

“What are these?” She asked, her voice filled with an innocent curiosity.

“They’re…um, doodles. I’m bored, so I decided to draw instead.” You replied. You were sure you were beet red, too afraid to look her in the eye.

She hummed contemplatively. “Are you allowed to doodle on your papers?”

“Well…not exactly. It’s not encouraged.”

“I see…” Uros seemed to be deep in thought. “Come with me for a second.”

Your head shot up. “Huh?”

“I want to ask you some more questions, but I don’t want to stall your class. Won’t you follow me?” She elaborated, looking slightly worried.

“…Sure, that’s ok, I think.” You followed her out of the classroom, where somebody else waited. You could only assume they were a bodyguard, since they were covered in dark grey-black robes and holding something resembling a spear. Once the door was closed, she began asking more questions.

“What’s your name, human?”

“Sophia.”

“Did you chose that yourself?”

“No, my parents did.”

“Oh, how odd.” She seemed to lean closer, checking out your facial features. “Usually around the age of 3, my kind picks their own names. We’re born nameless.”

You could only nod as a cool hand tilted your head to the side, then traced your jaw. You did your best not to seem uncomfortable, but Uros seemed to notice anyway.

“You’re very stiff. Are you ok?”

Your tongue felt thick, her eyes filled with concern. “Y-yeah, sorry. Not used to this kind of thing.”

“I guess not.” She replied, “Tell me, how much do you like your life here on Earth?”

“It’s…ok. I have a family that cares and good enough grades to get me a good job. I don’t really have a lot of friends, but other people like me enough to talk to me. I’m not unhappy with it.”

“It sounds peaceful here.”

“Compared to other places, yeah. It can be boring, though.”

That seemed to startle her, for some reason. “Boring?”

You shrugged, “Yeah. I like it here, it’s nice and I’m never in danger, but there’s nothing to do. We have the beach and sometimes new people pass through, but it’s not like anything really cool is going on. Unless you count the fact that you guys decided to show up.”

Uros seemed perplexed by this, unsure what to say. The final bell rang out in the halls, releasing students from their classes. You were about to turn around when she called out your name.

“Sophia”

“Hm?”

“When you get home, pack what you need to travel on a long journey. I’m picking you to be the human representative.”

“Wait, What??”

You didn’t get the time to ask any questions, though. Before you knew it, she was gone, and you were being pushed to the front of the school by the oncoming stamped of students, rushing to get home.

Telling your parents was difficult. You were an only child, and your parents were very scared of losing you. It got even worse when a government agent swung by to give you a list of things to pack, as well as some other items you couldn’t normally buy without some sort of clearance. These items included a gun, a handbook about intergalactic politics (for dummies!), a small list of emergency numbers that would get you in contact with NASA over long distances, and a phone that was specifically made for your position. A regular phone wouldn’t function once off the Earth, so this one was built just with high-tech modifications so it would last. Despite this, it looked practically normal, a lot like an IPhone, in fact.

It wasn’t long after that Uros and Orotorco came to pick you up. Orotorco seemed genuinely sorry for your parents, trying to comfort them by assuring them you’d be well taken care of. You watched numbly as some bodyguards carried out your luggage, all of them in a unifying black uniform. You only snapped out of your dazed state when you felt that familiar cool hand on your back, Uros looking at you with worry.

“This won’t be forever…right? I can come back to visit?”

She nodded, “Yes, you’re not our prisoner or anything. You’re free to return here when your duties don’t keep you from doing so.”

When it was finally time to go, you gave your parents a final parting goodbye and followed Uros onto a small ship of sorts. You felt tears well up as you looked out the window during takeoff, your mother curled into your father’s chest with grief.

You simply could not believe this was happening.

Orotorco’s booming voice caught your attention, seeming to sense your sadness.

“Sophia, is it?” He asked, “I promise we will do everything we can to make you feel at home here. You’re our only hope.”

“Why, though?” You asked back, “Why not someone else, like an actual diplomat.”

Orotorco just sighed. “It’s complicated, you see. It has to do a lot with physical makeup, as well as personality and upbringing. We couldn’t pick anyone. It seems out of all of the people Uros surveyed, you were the only one who met the standards we need in a representative.”

Your mind took this all in slowly. Was it really that specific?

“….Ok, so what do I have to do, exactly?”

“Right! I completely forgot to tell you about that, didn’t I? Me and my kin only chose one ally per generation, so this is a very sought out position by many other species of alien.” He explained, seeming a bit more cheerful. “You will speak on behalf of your planet when working with us, and when the time is right, you will help bring the next generation of my kin into the world.”

You paused for a minute. “Wait, back up. What does that last part mean? ‘Bring the next generation of kin into the world’?”

Orotorco seemed confused, “Ambassadors usually bear children for royalty on my planet. Is it not the same on Earth?”

“No, not at all!” You said, alarm clear in your voice. “Where did that come from?”

“A government agent you spoke to was supposed to brief you on this…I’m afraid there may have been a miscommunication.”

Your head spun as you thought about it. You didn’t want kids! Who was even going to be the father? How was this going to work? They were bug-like and huge in comparison to you…

“Who….Who is my partner.”

Uros spoke up in her usual honey-like voice, seeming a bit embarrassed herself.

“Me.”

It was too much. Without as much as a second thought, you fell over, your world going dark in a matter of seconds as both Uros and Orotorco called out to you. The last thing you remember is cool hands supporting your body, begging you to stay awake.

Darren Criss & Brother Chuck Talk New, 'Unapologetically Fun' Alt-Pop Project, Computer Games

Darren Criss was always destined to make a career out of music. He studied the violin from age 5 well into his teenage years, picking up other instruments along the way, while also pursuing a love for musical theater. But he credits his own musical endeavors to the environment in which he grew up – particularly his older brother, Chuck, who brought other musical interests to the table especially when they were in high school.

“Music has always been the backbone of our relationship and our household,” Darren tells Billboard. “We both had a voracious appetite for music, but I think high school is when we started playing together and being to communicate on a level that changed everything. I think the kind of music we played is probably loud garage rock, because we were just playing in the basement.”

Once they graduated, though, the Criss brothers decided to take their own paths. Darren independently released a solo EP, Human, in July 2010, just months before debuting in his breakthrough role as dreamy choir head Blaine Anderson on Fox’s hit musical dramedy Glee, while Chuck found a home in New York City and became a founding member of indie-rock fivesome Freelance Whales.

With Glee seeing its end in 2015 and Freelance Whales’ most recent album hailing from 2012, both Criss brothers were itching to do something new musically – so they thought, why not relive the days of the brotherly collaborations? And come March 8, 2017, behold, the Criss alt-pop project Computer Games.

Was there a colored page of kirishima with black hair? I can't remember, but if there wasn't confirmation; what if his hair is a wildly different color and since manga is black n white no one can tell lmao

Might be, but even if it weren’t striktly black it still has to be some dark and dull color, or else he didn’t have any reason to call himself plain, right? No actual need to dye it either, really!

Anon said: Denki once jokingly said he just needs to stick a fork in a powersocket to pull an all nighter but now everyone wants to know if that can happen

I’m sure with everyone you mean the squad which as we all know is made of irresponsible idiots and enablers to every and all stupid/reckless ideas - I’m 100% convinced they all told Kaminari to “prove it, then” and Kaminari was definitely ready with fork in hand 0.2 seconds later and if it weren’t that they decided to be idiots in the common room and Iida happened across them just as he was about to stick the fork in the plug they would have already short-circuited the whole dorms building lmao
