i just want people to use that tag

pastasexual  asked:

Omg I just saw your tag that you use specific people for character references and I'd LOVE to know who you use for everybody. Absolutely lovely art, by the way! <3

Oh man a few people have asked this so I’ll put everything in one place. Okay, so I use multiple references for everyone, but I usually stick with one person so here we go:

Draco Malfoy - Lucky Blue Smith/Benjamin Jarvis

Harry Potter/James Potter - Toni Mahfud/Reece King

Sirius Black - Willy Cartier

Hermione Granger - Sza/Amandla Stenberg

Remus Lupin - Matt Hitt

Blaise Zabini - Adonis Bosso

Theo Nott - Kim Won Joong

Ginny Weasley - Luca Hollestelle

Pansy Parkinson - Vittoria Ceretti

Lilly Evans - Madelaine Petsch

Teddy Lupin - @kapitan5o

This is most everyone who I use as references.

razz-the-cat  asked:

Do you have more pic of yourself while cosplaying ink? (*・∀・*)V

No, because I don’t cosplay Ink. That’s @lyoth737. She’s my Inky, I’m cosplaying Error. Suits me better anyway. ;D

I have plenty of those though… most of them look terrible though because we’re bad at posing. I already submitted a post with my Error cosplay before in case you are interested. Aside from that, there are more photos of us if you just run though the #cosplay tag on my blog.

We actually wanted to post a compilation from all the conventions we visited last year since… well, last year, but it’s a chore to run through hundreds of pictures and pick the few good ones. Guess we should do that soon, we at least started to go through all the photos. But since people seem to be interested, we will try to prepare them soon. Inky is pushing me to do with together for quite a while now anyway. o3o

Sometimes when I’m looking through the Harry Hook tag I wonder if we’re talking about the same character. He’s not some sweetheart who’d give everything up because he loves someone. He’s a badly domesticated coyote Uma is using as an attack dog. He’s a fucked up kid, likely abused and emotionally neglected by his father, but this explains his behavior instead of excuses it.

I don’t even think he’s really in love with Uma so much as in love with how powerful she is. Look at him; he worships her. He gravitates around her, watching how people scatter and obey her without a thought, enthralled by the respect and terror she commands. She’s powerful, and he loves it.

He’s constantly looking for someone to attack, someone he can push around and show that he is better and stronger and more important than they are without actually lifting a hook to prove it. He gets a thrill out of it. Everyone he’s antagonized has been helpless against him. He never goes after someone who can fight back because he knows he’ll get his ass handed to him.

He went after Dizzy, as it’s clear he’s been doing for years, and he held out the papers (money, probably) Mal had given her for a good thirty seconds before he finally puts them in his pocket. He’s daring her to take them back. It’s a show of power, that he doesn’t even have to threaten her anymore to get what he wants. She holds no power in this situation, and that’s how he wants it.

He threw a fit, knocking everything off of the counter, when Mal took control of the situation away from him. His breath hitched when Mal grabbed his wrist. He’s not used to that. He’s not used to people actually doing something–fighting back, as it were–when he harasses them, and it likely hasn’t happened since Mal, Evie, Jay, and Carlos left the Isle. He needed to get control of the situation back, so what did he do? Swept everything off the counter to make a mess for Dizzy to clean up. He left immediately after, just to ensure he got the last word.

He only provoked Jay when he knew Evie would hold him back, when he held all the cards and they knew that only way they were going to get Ben back was by cooperating with him. That little jump back, that little laugh after Jay lunges at him was him showing that he was startled by Jay coming after him. He laughed only after Evie dragged Jay back to get control of the situation back and make it seem like he knew it was going to happen.

Watch Carlos in that scene; he’s terrified. He and Harry have a history, and judging by how he flinches when Harry barks at him, it’s not pleasant. Harry’s goal seems to be to terrorize and psyche out the Core Four. Barking at Carlos seems almost like an afterthought, like he realized, “Oh, I forgot one,” and just did what he had always done to freak out the deVil kid.

He went after Ben when the king was tied to the mast, invading his personal space, talking about how much he would like to hook him if only Uma would let him. There was nothing Ben could do to defend himself. The only reaction he had was to act like he didn’t care, and that seemed to frustrate Harry. He wanted a reaction out of him, something to show that his favorite, tried-and-true tactic could work on anyone, from Auradon or the Isle.

The first time we see Harry in a physical fight, he’s easily bested. I won’t get into the whole “hook thrown overboard” debacle, since that’s another post. Harry only gets the upper hand by surprising his foe, but once the surprise is gone, Jay physically overpowered him. Jay has a sword. Harry has a sword and his hook, and he needs to use both to his advantage to stand an even match against Jay.

I don’t think he’s physically very strong or much good at fighting; that’s why they have Gil. Uma is the leader, the brains, the one whose charisma allowed them to amass such a crew. Gil is the brute, the brawn, the sweet if naive teen who seems like he’s only kept around because he’s useful. Harry is the attack dog who uses psychological warfare to make people believe that they don’t stand a chance against him and by extension, Uma, by attacking them verbally and terrorizing them when they’re powerless.

Don’t get me wrong, I love Harry Hook. I think he’s a fantastic character with a lot of potential. It’s just that I think he’s being overly romanticized when it’s clear he’s a troubled teenager with control issues. Don’t mistake his devotion for love, don’t mistake his antagonizing of helpless people for sincere flirting. I agree, he’s pan as all get-out, but don’t romanticize his actions.

I think part of the problem is how accustomed we are to “bad boy” characters like Harry Hook being the love interest of YA romance. We expect a heart of gold, we expect him being in love to show that he’s not such a bad guy. But sometimes there is no hidden heart of gold, and love will never be a substitute for redemption.

TL;DR: Harry Hook is a troubled teen with a manipulative streak who gets a thrill out of intimidating and bullying helpless people. Love will not redeem him; the kid needs therapy to help him understand that his actions were wrong. He’s a bad person but a great character. By all means, write about him, make fanart, talk about how you enjoy his character, but don’t romanticize him.

anonymous asked:

What are your preferences for people using sims you've created as founders for legacies?

Just the same as other sims I’ve uploaded! You can do as you want with them just as long as you tag me if you’re posting them so I can see how they’re doing ^-^

anonymous asked:

It's so frustrating trying to find good fanfiction for the new Spider-Man, because it's SO modern, like set in 2017, so the vast majority of fanfiction I've found mention so and so being "queer" and Peter and co going to black lives matter marches and pride and just... ugh. Stop bringing politics into stuff that's supposed to be FUN. None of that is mentioned or even relevant in the movie. Obviously people can write whatever they want but it's just so CRINGE

I know that feeling.

People are absolutely free to write about what they want to write about, but yeah, I wish there were a commonly-used tag to avoid all the nonsense.

@markiplier

since trans day of visibility is coming up in a few days (march 31st), i figured i’d make a list of advice for cis people commenting on/reblogging people’s posts/selfies?

  • do definitley like and reblog and tag and comment on our posts!! its what TDOV is for! show your support for the community by showing us some love
  • dont post any selfies if ur cis. today is not about u
  • if ur gonna comment about how great someone looks, great!!
  • just make sure u use the right pronouns/descriptors. most people put their pronouns on their selfies, but if they dont its easy to check their bio to see if they have them!
  • also dont say stuff like “wow ur prettier than I am!!” bc that implies that u think cis ppl are more attractive as a default, so its insulting and patronising
  • if the post is one with pics from multiple stages throughout someones transition, pls dont say “its not fair u get to be hot in both genders!” because thats cissexist n transphobic and adheres to the “used to be a X” rhetoric and erases people with fluid genders and implies that cis ppl inherently deserve to be hotter/better
  • go thru the tdov tags!! spread some love to all of us (not just conventionally attractive and/or passing people)
  • its not only selfies either. lots of ppl post some really cool content so dont miss out on that either

thats all i can think of rn. feel free to add on if u want

EDIT: okay so lots of people have said things along the lines of “im going to post selfies and theres nothing you can do about it” or “i want to post selfies anyway” and like. cool. whatever. im all for celebrating urself with selfies. just,, dont make this day about you okay? like keep out of the tags and dont make it an ally thing. and to the people who want to post selfies just because its a trans ppl day and for no other reason: fuck u

hello, i’m erin.

i’m really poor, my family is financially unstable all the time because my parents have walking/moving disabilities and it’s hard for them to find proper jobs since they can barely move. lately we’ve been having major financial problems.

they both used to work until the thing i was afraid of happened; my diabetic mom’s health condition started getting worse and worse. she couldn’t handle the pressure and the bullying at work so she had to quit her job. however, her health is the main priority in this entire thing so i don’t blame her at all.

as for now, my father is the only source of income. his monthly salary is $150 and as you can see that’s far from enough to maintain three people. i’ve tried to get a job myself but no one wanted to hire me because i’m a minor.

for the past few months my mom’s illness has been progressing, we even got her a wheelchair since she couldn’t walk at all. she needs a damn expensive diabetic healthcare course right now. my father works day and night just to gain some money. also, i contributed with my savings even though it wasn’t much.

yesterday, she got into a diabetic coma. it’s a life-threatening diabetes complication that can lead to death if it’s left untreated. in the case of my mother, it is fatal. the treatment that can help is extremely expensive and i have no idea what me and my dad are supposed to do in this situation.

our efforts are not enough for my mom’s medical assurance. the amount of money we have by now can provide only around half a month (if not less) of medicines. my dad is working all the time he doesn’t even sleep at this point, it’s a miracle if he gets at least 2 hours of sleep a day. but unfortunately it’s never enough.

i feel pathetic and useless, the tears are streaming down my face as i’m typing this and the fact that i can’t help in any way is killing me. it’s an obvious fact that she is going to die if we don’t pay for the medical assurance. please help, i really don’t want to lose my mother she means the world to me.

only money can help us in this harsh situation so if you can donate i’ll be forever thankful.

if you can, do it through paypal. my paypal email is: erinrin.rin@mail.ru

any amount will be highly appreciated, i’m not asking for much, really. also reblog this please, it does matter and i hope i’ll find people who can help. i’ve seen people on here do wonderful things to help people in need just like me. i truly believe that you have the power to save my mother. i will try to post this on gofund me as well so hopefully more people will get to know about my terrible situation. i know i already posted about my mother’s condition around 1 year ago on my another account and i’m really sorry for sharing my situation again, but back then it wasn’t even half as bad as it is now. i need your help now more than ever so please be understanding. i truly hope that you kind people can help us. it’s totally okay if you don’t donate though, just keep my mom in your prayers please, it means a lot.

i’m desperate please help, i’m begging you, i don’t want to lose my mother.

thank you so much.

Very Important PSA

So, it hasn’t even been a week, and I’m already seeing “Black Panther’s race doesn’t matter, we’re all human” shit. And you know what? I ain’t here for that shit. Tell, MCU fandon:

Where was “We’re all human” when ya’ll were erasing Rhodey and calling him “Rodney?”

Where was “We’re all human” when ya’ll were blatantly mischaracterizing Nick Fury, making fun of his disability, and saying “He curses too much”?

Where was “We’re all human” when ya’ll convinced yourselves that Sam Wilson was actually a secret HYDRA agent? Where was “We’re all human” when ya’ll turned Sam Wilson into the Avengers’ personal house Negro?

Where was “We’re all human” when ya’ll turned Heimdall into “The human telescope”?

Where was “We’re all human” when ya’ll ignored Gabe Jones?

Where the fuck was “We’re all human” when ya’ll erased Mike Peterson’s son, Ace, and then said Mike would be used as a vehicle for Ward’s redemption?

Where the fuck was “We’re all human” when Trip died?

Where the fuck was “We’re all human” when ya’ll were demonizing Jason Wilkes for being Peggy Carter’s love interest?

Where was “We’re all human” when Ben Urich was murdered in a graphic, dehumanizing way on Daredevil?

Where was “We’re all human” when Will Simpson  Oscar Clemons was burned alive on Jessica Jones?

Where was “We’re all human” when Jessica weaponized her white womanhood and pushed Malcolm Ducasse into a crowded room full of white people and said “He lunged at me”?

Where was “We’re all human” when Malcolm was expected to do massive amounts of emotional labor for white people who treated him like shit? With no reciprocity?

Where was “We’re all human” when Luke Cage was being abused by Jessica?

Where was “We’re all human” when the MCU fandom decided to make Luke Cage their white fave’s bartender, and resident expert on superhuman sex?

Where was “We’re all human” when Tessa Thompson was casted as Valkyrie, and confirmed to be Thor’s new love interest, and the entire Thor fandom attacked the character saying “Why does she need a love interest? She’d be better off alone” Even though the “Strong Black Woman Who Don’t Need No Man” has roots in dehumanizing Black women.

Where was “We’re all human” when Zendaya was rumored to be playing Mary Jane?

Where was “We’re all human” when people were campaigning for a Miles Morales movie and the MCU Klandom rose up and said “Well, Peter’s just more iconic”?

Where was “We’re all human” when the MCU fandom was blantantly hating on Claire Temple? Where the fuck was “We’re all human” when the MCU klandom was dead set against Claire as a love interest for Matt?

Where was “We’re all human” when the MCU fandom was demonizing T’challa for trying to find out who killed his father?

Where was “We’re all human” Mordo came onto the scene, and ya’ll ignored him while ALSO swearing that you all LOVE “Complicated villainous/gray characters”?

But now that Black fans have Black Panther,  a character and a world that celebrates us,  suddenly its “We’re all human”? Suddenly it’s “AllHeroesMatter”? Suddenly its “You Black fans are the reason no one wants to use the Black characters”?

Ya’ll can miss me with that bullshit, cuz I ain’t havin’ it. Did ya’ll think we just forgot about all that bullshit? We’ve been dealing with your bullshit for years now, and we’ve got the receipts. So no. Black People are gonna have our moment. We’re gonna have our movie, and the rest of ya’ll can stay the fuck out of our tags.

hey fellow asians, let’s stop using cultural relativism and post colonial theory to justify antiblackness.

what you’re basically doing is using identity politics to weasel your way out of accountability.

our countries participated in the slave trade. that cannot be justified by cultural relativism.

white supremacy/colonialism spread its ideology to asian countries. that cannot be justified by post-colonialism. antiblackness exists in our countries, ourselves, our histories. own up to it.

whether it’s thinking that we can use the n word or other antiblack slurs because some of us have been targeted by misdirected antiblackness, or thinking that we have a claim to black culture because of racialization, or thinking racial relativism theory is an excuse for antiblackness (modern slavery, police brutality, etc)……. we need to stop. lmao. like. we blame black people for their hypervisibility without realizing that it’s white people who made us invisible. we blame affirmative action for the reason we get rejected by employers and universities when in fact we’re rejected because of racism and AA largely benefits white women. we think it’s okay to use the n word or that it’s fine for our people to profit from modern slavery because “uwu slavery is a western phenomenon” or “uwu we don’t have american racial dynamics”. that’s fucking bullshit and you know it’s fucking bullshit. slavery is not exclusive to the west. antiblackness is the foundation of white supremacy; thus it’s no wonder that all asians are antiblack. you can’t fucking simultaneously use post-colonialism/cultural relativism to excuse antiblackness and then at the same time use american racial politics to blame black people for hypervisibility. you’re being a disingenuous asshole when you do that.

we alienate black asians when we do these things too.

excusing police brutality just because the cop is asian is disgusting. justifying slavery just because the slaveowners are asian is disgusting. defending assault just because the assaulter is an asian immigrant is disgusting. ignorning the use of slurs and the theft of black culture just because the thief is asian is disgusting.

don’t ask for support, solidarity, or respect from black people if you don’t want to put in the work or eradicate antiblackness. frankly all of us need to work on this. we are all socialized to be antiblack. you are. i am. our parents are. our friends our. our communities within asia and across the diaspora are. we ALL need to work on it.

(don’t touch this post if you aren’t black and/or asian).

Please, call me Queer.

Tonight I was on the receiving end of something rather hurtful that we talk about on Tumblr a lot: erasure.

Someone in a group chat I was in decided the acronym should be LGBTIA+, and was offering pride icons to the group. I said “I’m not any of those, I’m the Q,” and was told how they personally find that word uncomfortable so they left it out and used a plus sign instead.

Let me repeat that: my identity, the thing I have called myself since 2008, made them “uncomfortable,” so they just straight up removed it from the acronym and represented me with a goddamn plus sign.

So I’m done.

Don’t call me lesbian .Don’t call me wlw. CALL ME QUEER, IT’S WHAT I AM. Straight people, this goes for you too. You have my personal, this-directly-affects-me permission to call me Queer. My personal, this-directly-affects-me request, in fact. If you aren’t sure, the correct usage is the same format as any other part of the acronym: “Nina is Queer,” “Nina is a Queer woman,” “are you Queer?” I don’t really care personally if you capitalize it in casual use, but in official use I’ve never seen it uncapitalized (probably to differentiate it from the “well, isn’t that queer” usage).

PLEASE DO NOT LET A FEW SALTY TERFS PARROTING Q-SLUR BULLSHIT DESTROY MY IDENTITY. Queer is hated among that subset because it isn’t just a personal identity–it is a warm and welcoming umbrella that includes aces, trans folks, and nonbinary people. Not sure what you want to call yourself? It’s okay, the Queer community is still here for you. They HATE that and they’re trying to tear it down.

A final note: if you tag this post as “q slur,” you’re going to find yourself blocked in very short order. MY IDENTITY IS NOT A SLUR AND I REFUSE TO SEE IT TREATED THAT WAY ANY LONGER.

Sorry if this was asked before, but do know what the other characters look like as cats? Have you drawn them?

I’ve drawn many! They’re in the cat au tag, but I compiled them all here as well

I like to draw Victor as a dog, because I love Borzoi’s, but sometimes I’ll draw him as a cat because people ask very nicely =u=

Minami is a pomeranian fluffball who wants to be just as fluffy as Yuri, Yurio is a bengal.

Chris is a Himalayan show cat, Seung-gil Lee is just a domestic shorthair who happens to have some interesting colouring.

JJ is a huge tabbycat who lives at the shelter Yuri used to live at, Phichit’s a Manx that lives in the same neighbourhood, and Otabek is a domestic shorthair with a shorter tail who lives at a motorcycle shop in the neighbourhood.

Phew! That’s a lot of cats! Thank you for everyone’s support through this :D

Tower of Dawn

So I think it’s time this fandom had a sit-down and talked some things out. Today’s topic: ableism. Before all of y’all start jumping on me and dismissing me and trying to say I have no right to talk about this, let me tell you a bit about myself.

I was born with spina bifida. For those of you that don’t know that is, it’s when a baby’s spinal chord and nerves don’t develop properly. I had my first surgery to help this condition when I was eight days old. The excess amount of scar tissue in my lower back had begun to wrap around my spinal chord, which for obvious reasons is dangerous. I had the same surgery when I was four years old, and that’s when my life changed forever. I’d been able to walk before using a leg brace, but due to a mistake by the surgeon, my left leg was left paralyzed. I was a normal (and I hate using the word normal here, normal is an absolutely useless construct of society, but for lack of a better word at the moment, bear with me) kid, mobile and able to move around as I pleased, and then I couldn’t. I’ve been using a wheelchair since then. I’m not telling you guys this because I want pity. I don’t. I’ve accepted it as part of my life, and I love myself just the way I am. This little explanation is here so you guys can understand exactly where I’m coming from when you read the rest of this post. So with all this in mind, here goes my not-so-little rant.

DISCLAIMER: I will be calling people out in this post and tagging them because I am done. 1000%, completely fucking done with this fandom. And if this causes a shitstorm, fuck it, because this needs to be said and this fandom needs to learn to stop being hypocritical pieces of crap.

I love these books. I love Sarah’s writing in general,  and I would read literally anything she wrote. These books, Aelin’s story, Feyre’s story, are so important to me. I don’t have words to describe how much they mean to me. I love talking about them and healthy and constructive conversations about them. And some of the jokes that have been made  by the fandom are some of favorites. I’ve made some of them myself. I’ll joke alongside all of you about wingspans and gold nightgowns for as long as you want.

I want to make something perfectly clear: this rant is in no way a reflection of my thoughts about her books. This post is exclusively about the fandom’s disgusting behavior.

So let’s start with this post that I saw earlier.

     Disability is not kinky.

For those of you that can’t understand that, let me repeat it.

     Disability is not kinky.

     DISABILITY. IS. NOT. KINKY.

This whole post is horrifyingly ableist. And before you guys start claiming that “I have disabled relatives, I can’t be ableist!” (@rowan-stole-my-heart, I’m looking at you. Remember that conversation last year? Nice to know you’re still disgusting), that’s like saying “I have African-American friends, therefore I can’t be racist!”, which is such an inherently flawed line of arguing that it would require a whole other post to address, so I’ll just say don’t try it. I can’t even begin to fathom the mental process all of these people went through to think that this was even remotely acceptable in any way, shape, or form, so let me break this down and explain to you why this isn’t.

This, my horrifyingly inconsiderate friends, is a form of fetishism. According to the Merriam-Webster dictionary, fetishism is the pathological displacement of erotic interest and satisfaction to a fetish. Now that you know what that is, let’s move on.

This whole fandom has been complaining about a lack of diversity in Sarah’s books since I joined the fandom. Diversity doesn’t just mean POC, which is exactly what this fandom conveniently forgets. Diversity includes POC, people with mental illness, people with physical disability, LGBT+ people, and so much more. And when Sarah finally adds someone who embodies a slice of that diversity, you all have the gall to reduce his situation to sex jokes. All I can say is how dare you. How dare you reduce someone’s life and reality to a kink, to something to be made fun of, to something that spices up your dash and makes it NSFW just because you wanted to make fun of a book cover you probably weren’t satisfied with. In doing so you are insulting the thousands upon thousands of people that are in the same situation. You’re reducing them – reducing me – to a fantasy that you can use and then dismiss the next moment, without regard for anyone’s feelings. Do you have any idea how difficult of a topic sex is for people with disabilities? We are laughed at for wanting sex. Our anxiety when it comes to that is ten times that of any able-bodied person, simply because we don’t fit into the box that society wants to shove everyone into. And you’re making it that much worse because you have the audacity to think the fact that someone can’t move their legs is funny.

It hurts. Reading that post hurt like hell. Because in your eyes – in society’s eyes – people like me aren’t human. We’re just something to ride, right? Yeah, I didn’t miss that little gem of a comment, @readinglikewildfire.

And because I know this is coming, no, Chaol isn’t just a character.

But you know what, I get it. It’s just sex, right? A small joke made, no harm done.

     Wrong.

You’re perpetuating yet another harmful concept cooked up by a disgustingly ableist society. Sorry, but your privilege and utter ignorance are showing. I will concede a bit and agree that we can treat fiction for what it is – something that isn’t real – up to a certain point. But you guys just crossed a line. For those of you saying that you feel guilty for laughing, you absolutely fucking should, because this shit isn’t funny.

The fact is if that post had been making fun of race or mental illness, then the fandom would have ripped these people to shreds and they would have been reported many, many times over. But it’s not, and instead I can count on my fingers the number of people that stood up to say this was wrong, because it’s just another wheelchair joke, right? Who cares? To those that did, I thank you from the bottom of my heart, especially @throne-of-omg-the-feels and @midnight-wonder. It’s nice to know there’s still some hope for humanity left. And to @nerdperson524, I agree with you. People do need a laugh, even those that live their lives stuck in chairs. But that post? It’s downright offensive.

So that’s it. I’m done blowing things out of proportion, as some of you will say. If you think I should have approached you privately and messaged you about this instead of publicly calling you out, then maybe, just maybe, you shouldn’t have PUBLICLY insulted mocked degraded an entire subset of the human population. And maybe that makes me a bad person. It certainly means I’m not being the bigger person. And I could honestly care less. I am tired. So sick and tired of constantly being the bigger person, of just staying quiet when I see things like this because what’s the use? The entire world is filled with this shit and it’s not like I can fight every time I see this kind of injustice. Nothing’s going to change, no matter what I do. But this? This is where I draw the line. Congratulations.

NATIONAL ABORIGINAL DAY

National Aboriginal Day is on June 21st. If it doesn’t coincide with another event (I remember a few years back that it did with BlackOut, but was worked around), I think we should celebrate. If you’re Aboriginal / Indigenous, upload your selfies, post art, talk about Aboriginal characters that you know and love, talk about books and films made by and for Indigenous people. We are still here but we are individually unique and have our own experiences and stories to tell.

Use #HappyAboriginalDay and spread the word.

EDIT: The date for BlackOut is June 6th. We’re in the clear!

SECOND EDIT:

This post has gained a lot of attention over the last couple of days! Thank you to everybody who has shared and reblogged it. I want to take a moment to address a question that keeps popping up: if you are indigenous/aboriginal, you can participate if you choose to! This is not limited just to Native American / First Nations people. If you are Ainu, Maori, Saami, native Hawaiian, etc, feel free to participate! It’s great opportunity for us to represent ourselves, our cultures, our lives, our heroes, and celebrate both our differences and similarities.

I can’t wait to see you all on June 21st! Keep boosting this post and don’t forget to use the #HappyAboriginalDay tag!

Friendly reminder that Klaus’ letter was preceded by “that is the beginning of another story”, which is meant to highlight key components in the letter, such as Klaus wanting to thank Caroline in person. This suggests that they do eventually meet up, and that their meeting is not a mere fleeting chapter in their lives.

This isn’t a nod to their friendship. They’ve never been just friends. This is a promise of a romantic future.

There is no doubt in my mind that if Caroline and Klaus were to ever reunite (and according to the finale they do) that Klaus would want something romantic from her. And if you believe otherwise, you’re kidding yourself.

However long it takes is a throwback to a romantic scene. A romantic scene that suggests a promise of a romantic future between the characters. This isn’t mere banter between friends. Because Caroline has never been just a friend to Klaus. It’s a promise of a romantic future.

“that is the beginning of another story”
“however long it takes”

Eventually this story will be realized. And it isn’t a story about friendship.
