anyways post #102340 on why i think something is gonna happen to lance in s4
his angst has been hyped up for 3 seasons, and hasn’t really even been resolved yet. He talked to keith about it but it’s very clear he wanted to hear more. keith cheered him up but he wanted to be told he was needed to the team no matter what, he was seeking validation.
it’s very convienient that lance this season has been getting lots of development. his character basically did a whole 180 degree flip in terms of maturity. when he was talking to keith he was so quick to set himself on the sidelines. and when keith said “everything would work itself out” i got a bit worried. because the only possible way for things to work out is if someone goes MIA. sure in a perfect world they get back “real” shiro and allura goes back to piloting the caslte of lions but thats not very realistic.
lances va also stated that lance would “die” this season and s4 is technically the remaining episodes of s3. my bets are on lance sacrificing himself for the team or for someone inparticular. maybe it’s to get the real shiro back (if the clone theory is true), or for keith. overall he’s been hyped as this character who will put his life on the line for ppl he cares about and this whole season he has been very confused about his spot on the team. lances angst is a very consistent thing this seasons and it will very likely carry on into the remaining episodes of s3
lance sees himself as disposable. he feels like becuse allura can fly blue he isn’t really needed so he will be the first to put his life on the line for someone else and it will probably get hairy which also leads into the whole keith possible wearing lances jacket in a future season. this season they made keith very dependant on lance in a way. they bonded so much and for something to happen to lance after all lance had helped him with it would hurt keith a lot, they have been setting up something bad for lance and they have also been setting it up so that keith will not take it well at all.
idk just to me it makes a lot of sense they have been hyping lances angst so much and something bad is bound to happen lance feels like he isn’t needed anymore so he would feel like compared to the other paladins he is less valuable and can be disposed of
Rating Of Every Raichu Sprite From Main Series Pokemon Games
Detailed for what limited pallets the gameboy had back than, slightly minamalist and simplistic in design as all gen 1 Pokemon are. I respect this elder regardless for his original design. 9/10
A PERFECT BOY!! Look at that expression full of excitement! I wish we could have seen more of this quality Raichu in this game. 10/10
Designers, c’mon now. This isn’t fair. You can’t just make me choose between TWO sprites to rate!! But if I have to choose, than I prefer 1st sprite. He’s fat, powerful and that expression on his face just screams of smugness. The second Raichu, however, seems to have more mischievous expression rather than aggression. Both receive a 7/10.
Not as fat, but I do like his “PUT EM UP, SCRUB” pose. 9/10
He’s finally relaxed, he’s no longer in constant attack mode! I’m so proud of him of his comfort around others! 11/10
I am concerned for his sudden shift in weight gain, but as long as he feels comfortable with his weight however, than so do I. Now there’s just more of this big boy to hug. 9/10
What a joyful expression! An improvement to the previous 2nd gen sprites. I trust him. 10/10.
Another quality sprite! This one takes inspiration from the mid animation frame from 4th gen, I see! I appreciate the reference. Also, look at the those LEGS! 9/10
Not much detail, and I miss his expressions and pose. He’s happy with his transcendence to 3D but I miss the little details. :( 5/10
NOW THAT’S MORE LIKE IT!! The happiest boy I’ve ever seen. Unratable, to put a number on his perfection would be a crime. He’s not quite as chubby however, but he must be light enough to fit on his tail. Still enjoys a Malasada every now and than. Finally gets his time in spotlight with his new found psychic powers away from the popularity of Pikachu. He’s even got his own Z-move! Good job, little buddy on your rise to stardom!
I think sometimes you can learn a lot about a person from their clothing choices, and I’ve always sorta wanted to make some fashion sets ^ ^ So I’m making one for the OC kids, starting with the eldest as usual, Yasha! (He’s probably pre-teen-ish around here, maybe, idk)
Yasha still more or less thinks of himself as a boy (when he can be bothered to think about it at all) but loves flowers, pastels, and anything soft and gentle (in harsh contrast to his blunt as a bludgeon personality). And most importantly, he kinda just really hates wearing pants and underwear, when he can get away with full nudity… He takes the young!Victor flower fairy aesthetic to the next level. He can be very picky about what he wears, and usually prefers expensive but relatively unknown specialty brands. His parents, especially Victor, are more than happy to indulge his tastes.
IF YOU ARE NEW TO THIS AU: It’s a Yuri!!! on Ice AU, Yuuri-centric with end-game polyamory in an ABO
setting, Yuuri gets married to four mates (Victor, Yurio, Phichit, Minami)
and they have OC kids.
Hey, I might get hate for this and this message might not be for everyone, but I wanted to say -
It’s okay to be going through a kind of grief right now if you were very invested in Nick’s content. Some people might be experiencing just straightforward anger, and that’s fine, that makes sense.
But I suspect some of you, like me, are struggling with your emotions. Betrayal is complex. Maybe you wish things could go back to the way they were. Maybe you’re guilty because you didn’t realize - guilty because you did - guilty because you’re not as angry as you think you should be. You want him to get fired, but you don’t. You miss his content but don’t know if you’ll ever be able to watch it again. You wonder if this is really a big deal, wonder how much your social climate is influencing that view. You want to make jokes about it and yet you hate when other people make jokes about it. You feel bad for him and feel guilty for feeling bad for him.
Maybe you experience one or two or all of these at some point. This is NORMAL.
And I want to be clear about something here: some of these emotions can easily turn into victim blaming, but use this as a learning opportunity. Victim blaming, generally, doesn’t come from HATING WOMEN on a personal level. It comes from fear, and guilt, and betrayal. It is EASY to fall into, and it can come from a place of sincere emotions, so be careful about what you’re saying out there in the heat of the moment.
I just - not ever emotion you experience in a situation like this is going to be Morally Pure And Good. And some of them should probably be worked through privately. But I want everyone to know that feeling those emotions is FINE. It’s part of the process and resenting yourself will only make it harder. You will learn and grow from this.
If you’re struggling with your reactions to this, it’s ok to step back. It’s okay if your emotions don’t immediately fall in line with your beliefs. So long as you’re thinking critically about what you put out there, don’t let anyone make you feel guilty about your emotions.
So at the end of every volume of NANA, Ai Yazawa has a brief paragraph about the manga or just some introspection about her life. They give great insight into the series and I think only a few are found on the scans of NANA online, so I thought I’d share them all!
The creator, Ai Yazawa, told us, “I created this story so that it could be enjoyed as a stand-alone and, at the same time, have a complete ending that could be connected to an ongoing series. I hope you’ll look forward to the future of the two Nanas!”
A note from Ai Yazawa: “I had thought that if the two Nanas met each other, they would probably be constantly fighting, but they seem oddly friendly. What’s up with that?! It’s one of me (not so) seven wonders (ha-ha).”
Since childhood, the artists I’ve looked up to haven’t been writers and illustrators, but mostly musicians. Music provides me the most emotional effect and excitement. If there was no music, I don’t think my creative juices would boil. Music is that important to my life.

I realized one day that there are hit songs with the same names as the main female characters, NANA, JUNKO, and SACHIKO (the kanji for JUNKO is different, though). It’s not that big a deal, but I sometimes just hum the melodies longingly.

In the initial drafts, Nana’s band was a rockabilly band like the Stray Cats. But due to various circumstances, I didn’t keep it that way. But if they were rockabilly, Ren, Nobu and Shin would have had pompadours. And Yasu too?

When I was a child, I used to take piano lessons. Even after I stopped taking lessons, I bought sheet music I liked and continued playing. I’ve had my hands full for several years now, but one of these days I’d like to learn how to play jazz piano, which I’ve wanted to do for years now.

I had an opportunity to interview a group of professional musicians. I showered them with questions, but they answered willingly, and it was very helpful. I was having problems balancing the fictional world of manga-like simplicity and gorgeousness with a sense of reality. But I realized again that what’s important is the humanity of the characters.

When I was in high school, there was a cool girl in my class who was a lone wolf. I was really into a foreign New Romantic-type band then, and when she asked me one day, “Do you want to go to their concert together?” I was overwhelmed. My heart fluttered more than when I was with my boyfriend (☺). Have you had a Hachiko experience like that? - Ai Yazawa
