i just thought this scene was really pretty

Even though Harry is my favorite actor from the cast, I think his acting is a little over the top in the sneak peek from next episode. I mean I know Magnus is dramatic, but he is sort of coming across as a caricature of who Magnus actually is in that scene.

You know, it’s interesting you point this out because I personally don’t believe this is a misstep on Harry’s part; I think this is a deliberate choice in terms of how Magnus behaves with various people. The reason I say this is because I’ve noticed it’s been a very consistent trait Harry has given Magnus when he’s around those he doesn’t fully trust or know.

I think in S1 and throughout most of 2x01, we see him largely around Alec, someone he’s willing to be more genuine with (Clary, too). But watch him in 1x04 (with Elias where he twirls like 3x in the scene, but also when he’s flirting with Alec while Jace is watching – when he flips that table with his foot, please), 1x07 where Jace and Luke are both present (Jace’s presence is usually the main factor because Magnus isn’t especially fond of Jace), 1x12 during the Institute meeting and when they’re going to find Ragnor (again, Jace (and Hodge) are present). Even the way he approaches Jace and Clary in 1x12 after the kiss is over, there’s a swagger you don’t see when his focus had been Alec.

You’re right, it’s an exaggeration and it’s not representative of who Magnus actually is. But I think that’s the point: it’s a deliberate front he puts up, a way of deflecting people from seeing the real him. Magnus does not like to be seen as who he really is. He’s an extremely guarded individual, and the hair, the makeup, the clothes, the gestures, even his speech patterns – that’s all there to shield him. The real Magnus is a privilege reserved for the rare few who have managed to sneak their way into his heart. At the time of that scene, Simon isn’t one of those people.

The rings in episode 10

I’m probably really freaking late with this again, but I’m watching the episode a second time because so much happened in it, that I missed a lot.

I know the whole fandom is freaking out over the Viktuuri engagement, but I felt a bit bothered because this episode was chock-full of double entendres. I’m talking about anything that has to do with the rings. I know I’m sounding really salty right now, but I just need more Viktuuri. Actual, literal in your face Viktuuri.

So I’m currently at the scene where Yuuri buys the *cough*lucky charms*cough*. I paused at the bit where Yuuri opened up the receipt. And y’all are probably gonna facepalm really hard when you read this because everybody already knew and I’m just so fucking slow but please just leave me be I was so happy when I noticed this

lets look a little closer

“something-i-can’t-read gold wedding ring

WEDDING RING

I KNEW THOSE RINGS WERE EXPENSIVE BUT I THOUGHT THEY WERE JUST TWO RANDOM PRETTY RINGS

BUT NO THEY ARE AN ACTUAL PAIR OF WEDDING RINGS!!!

YUURI WTF YOU SMOOTH MOTHERFUCKER

I know this anime is just one huge metaphor for love and romance but still

THIS JUST MADE ME SO MUCH HAPPIER OKAY

This was weirdly enough my favorite scenes in the episode because I thought it was kinda beautiful and highlights one of the best aspects of Alola and I’m really glad the anime is emphasizing it as well.

That is, the focus on prayer and paying respects to nature and Pokemon and the world in general. And Ash being a fish out of water still at least tries to understand what it means even if he doesn’t fully understand, idk I just really like how they have him respecting the culture.

The rest of the episode was pretty good to and we get more of that focus on culture with Kiawe’s backstory on his Z Ring and how he received Charizard from his Grandfather and talking about how he wants to be a nurturing flame rather then one of destruction. It’s all seriously good stuff. The family was good (sister is cute who just wants to be a good farmhand), slapstick was good, Z move training with Rowlett was good, just a solid episode all around.

yo yo. just wanna get something out there, since i don't see anyone saying anything- i think iruma is kind of a dick for forcing herself on kiibo like that. he looks so... uncomfortable. idk why one would ship that. Thoughts? (love your blog ;D)

i dont really think that was meant to be taken as a serious scene..

of course he was uncomfortable, anyone would be uncomfortable in that situation. i dont think he had the heart to say it though. you give me a link to a video with the scene in it, ill translate it for you and give more context, but im pretty sure she was just flirting and teasing

#ndrv3 spoilers

Whoa wait what? They’re actually really keeping the lion? Wow, I thought for sure the status quo would reign supreme. Huh. I mean, I guess any family deserves a good pet and/or mascot. But the lion isn’t even in the show’s intro?????

So yeah, that episode was pretty freakin’ great. Middling beginning, but the middle was an absolute riot and the climax was just an amazing scene.

I rate episode 10, Steven’s Lion, a 9/10.

Until next time, you fine fellows.

My hero ❤️🤤❤️ sorry I know that ask seemed out of nowhere I just was going thru my likes an realized like over half of the rogue one gifsets I'd liked came from you and almost all of urs were the more original / scenes no one else had done. Super impressed so I thought I'd take a chance !! Pretty much the only thing I could offer u in return is some sort of ficlet but I'd be happy to write one for u! My fandom/personal blog is hermajestieship just so u know thank u again so much!!!

Thank you, I’m glad if I could hep! You’re welcome and you don’t have to offer me anything in return, I really like RebelCaptain so I enjoy doing gifsets about them. But if you’d like why not and your request is the next one!

One last really exciting thought before I go to bed. In the script (act two, scene nineteen), Moaning Myrtle has a line: “Not that your father is not pretty – but Cedric Diggory – you’d be amazed at how many girls I had to hear doing love incantations in this very bathroom…”
In the play that line is now “you’d be amazed at how many girls and boys I had to hear…”
I nearly cried with delight. Representation, even subtle representation, is so so important, and to finally hear about the existence of actual LGBT+ people within the very story of Harry Potter (even if they’re only in the background as part of one line) is just incredible. That line really delighted me.

Q.E.D. (707 x mc)

summary: this moment exists at the end of a broken loop.

(what do you mean ‘loop’?)

rating: all (707 name spoilers)

notes: the epilogue/final scene of recursion. it’s pretty fluffy and can be read on it’s own as a stand alone piece i think. but reading recursion might give one a better appreciation of it? otherwise it’s just a very random piece of floof as i can’t really think of a good way to really really link them. /shot

hope you guys like it! ;;

I wish we saw more of Teo, Haru, and the Duke after the invasion in Book 3. It makes sense that they weren't in the scene where Zuko tries to convince the Gaang to let him join the team since Zuko wasn't really a personal enemy of theirs. But I wish we could have seen them help train Aang for Sozin's Comet, or even see them get closer to the Gaang. They just kinda sat there haha xD

Yeah, that would have been nice. They were pretty useless. I did think it was funny that they just peeped out right after the battle was over in The Western Air Temple. And I thought it was cute that Zuko served them tea. But yeah, they were kind of just…there, and sometimes i forget that they even were in those episodes.

Maybe The Duke could have mentioned Jet, and since Zuko met him, that could have been sparked a conversation, since the GAang doesn’t know that Zuko met him. Haru training earthbending with Toph! Yes, please! And I always really liked Teo. Yeah, it would have been so cool if they could have done more, but there was no time, sadly.

“The first question I always get is, “Are these people ever gonna kiss?” And I’m like, “I don’t know if you remember, but my first season, we did kiss.” They’re like, “No, no, no. We mean, like, a real kiss.” And I’m like, “I think that was pretty real.”

Michael and I talked about all of those scenes right before we did them. We had a totally different way of looking at it. In our minds, we thought the characters weren’t faking anything. They just got carried away. Then all of the sudden after that, they saw each other in a different light. That’s how Michael and I wanted to play it: If something really happened during that, it was okay. Tony was willing to go there, and Ziva certainly didn’t mind. She doesn’t care about that stuff. We’ll leave it to anyone’s interpretation….I think that was the beginning of something, and at a certain point, it will have to be addressed.” – Cote (x)

Can I just ask. Why was molly angry aT Sherlock ??? Also her house is really pretty I've never imagined her in a place like that tbh maybe that's just me though. But again like she just had cake with Sherlock why is she angry. Maybe she isn't angry with him but then why is she in a bad mood. SO MUCH IS NOT EXPLAINED MY BRAIN IS GOING TO EXPLODE

Yeah that scene had so many open ends. Tbh I have never thought about molly’s place or anything. So not gonna comment on that. But she being pissed without any reason.. Who the fuck knows really. To me it didn’t look like she was angry at sherlock. So why show her in a bad mood if they are not even gonna explain?

My brain exploded on 15th January. There is nothing left at this point.

Penny’s name was actually mentioned this episode!! This is now the best episode of season 4 automatically.

Anyway, it’s good to see Ruby actually having lines and talking about her emotions. A lot of her this season has just been looking at the ground sadly, so I’m glad to see her actually expressing guilt, even if it is the generic protagonist “i’m sorry I involved you guys” kind.

Also note that she doesn’t say, “i’m sorry for coming” she says “I’m sorry for involving you guys”. Just thought that was significant.

While the animation for Ren’s backstory was pretty okay and tiny Ren was cute, I didn’t really feel anything during it? like we knew all this already. The only new info was thief! Nora, and Ren’s semblance which… idk how to feel about. Ren going from emotional breakdown to calm and focused was scene breaking for me and if his semblance is to hide his presence and that of others through touch then why hasn’t he been using it more often?

I think it’s more likely that his semblance is about calming or suppressing emotion through touch ‘cause that’s what the grimm are actually drawn to.

Once again, though, Oscar is the most interesting character for me (though the best character, plot and writing for the season still goes to Weiss). I think at this point he and Oz have already merged completely, but Oz is a voice in his head because he hasn’t accepted it yet. His leaving his family behind parallels nicely with Ruby having done the same thing, and I like his little meeting with hazel. I eagerly anticipate the moment where their souls merge completely and Oscar becomes a bad ass.

I think I’ve rambled enough here.

I miss you too buddy I just been watching Yuri on ice I need just the last two episodes. Plus I got to go to the bank today to withdraw my rent payment ugh.

I LOVE YOU!! I’ve thought about watching YoI but I’m really picky about anime and, like, particularity sports anime because I usually find them boring. But I heard the animation is really pretty and there is a lot of gay so I’m considering binging it one of these days!

I don’t know what else to say so here is something RD related that made me happy. I was looking through the promo clips and I saw this scene

And that’s totally the 7 minutes in heaven scene from the leak! And You know who is there?? Reggie!!

You know what he said in the leak 👀👀👀

I was so worried they were going to cut out my Glorious Reggie Lines but there he go. That means there is a chance we will hear that line.

This might seem pretty weird, but...

I really like that CLAMP doesn’t do kissing scenes much. I just think that it’s great that they don’t limit the ways of showing affection, or at least, they show that there are many ways to show romantic attraction; it doesn’t have to be sexual.

Touya & Yukito for example, I mean, they’re obviously together, but… I don’t know… their relationship is never sexualized (at least from what I’ve read). We just know they’re in love… Because they are. Done.

Episode 50 of GoPriPre–

REALLY SHOT A BUNCH OF FEELS BULLETS THROUGH ME. ;-;

But, yeah, I felt that I couldn’t just leave it without drawing something, so I decided to sketch the scene of all the girls at the end of the scene, when they’re all grown up the thought just makes me cry. But…yeah. Here it is.
