Jonathan didn’t like this. Didn’t like that you were giving him the cold shoulder. And he didn’t like that he was the one who made you so mad. Not that he doesn’t deserve a bit of ignoring, though. In retrospect, he probably deserves a lot worse.
He sat down next to you on the bed, leaning forward and smiling a little to draw your attention. But when you turned your head away, Jon just sighed. “I’m sorry, okay? I feel awful about forgetting our breakfast date. And I should have let you know. But tonight, I told T’Pol I’d be busy.”
You still didn’t talk. Though, your head turned straight forward, so Jon can look at your profile.
“We’ll have dinner, just the two of us.” He pushed on, braving up to reach forward and hold your hand. “That’s a promise.”
And finally, you looked Jonathan with a light exhale, like the anger was finally dissipating. “Alright. Dinner it is.”
