i just really love his character okay

Okay, so my mom also watches Yuri on Ice and I just wanted to share something about her reaction to episode 9.

In general, she loves the anime - the skating, the animation, the characters, the humor, just everything. She says it’s her favorite and the best anime she’s ever seen (she watched like 20 other series upon my recommendation, including all the big sports anime). When I asked her for her thoughts on episode 7 she said she really liked it and she liked the way they handled Yuuri’s anxiety and his fight with Victor and all the other skaters. Then I asked her about the kiss (she didn’t initially notice that it was kiss and thought it was just a hug) and she said “Well, I think it was really nice how Victor ran to Yuuri and tackled him out of joy and everything but I’m not really into watching two guys kiss.” This saddened me a little, but I couldn’t really be mad at my mom and I ended up explaining why it’s a big event and in the end she understood and said that it was actually really cool of them to do that.

Now, when she watched episode 9 I didn’t have to pry to get her to speak. She called me on the phone (we live in different countries at the moment) when she finished the episode and just went “Okay, this was a really moving episode. I really loved Michele’s Free Skate and the part when Yurio went out and found Yuuri and gave him the Japanese-style pirozhki and tried to comfort him and and the last scene in the airport where Yuuri and Victor locked eyes the moment they saw each other and just desperately ran into each other’s arms, that was really sweet, and and then Yuuri asked him to be his coach until he retires and Victor said that he wants him to never retire and God, it was just so sweeeeet. They’re so sweet and beautiful.”

And I think that’s the proof that love wins. That a single scene can make my 58-year-old mom recognize a gay couple and call it “sweet and beautiful” and actually call me up just to fangirl and squeal (I shit you not when I say she squealed) about how she loved the scene and was moved by it.

Sometimes we don’t need explicit kiss scenes to prove that our ships are real and beautiful. Sometimes a really well-made scene of being reunited at the airport will be the thing that makes the real difference.

Okay but I really hope they flesh out Maggie and she becomes more than just Alex’s love interest? She’s not a guest star, she’s not even a recurring character. She’s a regular. White cracker Mon-El who could literally extinguish a blazing fire with his boring ass has his own little arc about finding out who he wants to be.

I want to see Maggie’s story, how did she get to NCPD, where’s her family? Any best friends? I want a story arc for her separate from Alex. Not only will it give us insight into her character for future shipping purposes, it will also make her seem more real, more relatable.

Give us the Maggie Sawyer we deserve.

Warnings: None, just kissing and angst. My usual MO.

A/N: Okay so I know this has primarily been a Percivan Graves content blog for a while now, but I couldn’t resist. And I had a lot of encouragement so thank you xD I hope this turned out alright…he’s a difficult character to capture but I really, really loved writing this! Let me know what you think!

I heard footsteps coming up the ramp and turned to look over my shoulder. I smiled as Cassian poked his head around the corner. I should’ve expected him to turn up at some point. He seemed to know me better than I knew myself. I’d gone to the ship in an attempt to be alone, to gather my thoughts before tomorrow. Sleep was evading me, the way it always did before a big battle. Only this time it was different. I had a feeling about this particular battle, though it was a feeling I didn’t want to dwell on for too long. Cassian was about the only person I wanted to see right now anyways.

“Shouldn’t you be resting, Captain?” I asked, going back to cleaning my gun.

Tosaki’s wedding

Haha okay so: 31.07. Day 7: rest?  | anything goes  | sun

I decided to take this day to draw Tosaki’s wedding (with his fiance, I think her name is Ai?) in a happy ending maybe…haha I don’t know it seemed like a funny idea in my mind XD and drawing all this crap was actually really fun. So this was clearly meant to be ridiculous so, what the hell? I just hope you enjoy and laugh with me at this shit I made.

Since Ajin is such a dense manga, and I really love the characters, sometimes I just feel like I want to see them doing stupid things together… (unfortunately I didn’t think it’d be right to include Sato and the others here xd except for Tanaka, cuz he’s just a cinnamon roll).

(Anyway I apologize for the bad quality of some drawings that are next ): when I’ve my computer fixed, I’ll make them well).

what she says: i love freeze your brain

what she means: If you look at Freeze Your Brain at face value, you could easily interperet it as simply about JD’s fixation on 7/11 and his issues oversharing. But it’s really more about a place that feels normal and familiar and safe in a frightening and new situation. It’s easy to overlook this, as a lot of the song is made to be comedic. Take the lines “When mom was alive/we lived halfway normal./Now it’s just me and my dad,/we’re less formal” for example. During the musical, it’s easy to focus more on Veronica freaking out than on JD’s words and their meaning. This is done intentionally, as if to show that JD hides how hurt he is about his mother’s death with other emotions, as many people do. Towards the end, it is shown that JD uses slushies to control a possible self-harm habit and self-destructive thoughts, and that’s when the gravity of the song hits you. Despite sounding light-hearted, Freeze Your Brain is about a teenager trying to hold onto the one place that makes him feel safe and happy no matter where he is. If you consider the possibility that his mother introduced him to 7/11, it’s also about trying to recapture childhood emotions, despite the fact that so many things have changed.

sooo I uhh wanted really wanted to draw @blasticheart ‘s character Kai cause I really love his design ahh (i was the one who asked btw haha) I just really wanted to say that you have been a huge inspiration to me for I think 2-3 years?? Also I saw so much improvement in your works during the years which really motivates me too, so keep the awesome work! ;0

okay i don’t want to be too sappy so imma just go now *runs off*

I really love that Mark explained Dark fully in his live stream. While I really enjoy how Jack’s Anti is a persona patch worked from different fan ideas, and there isn’t a clear answer to what he is exactly, hearing the process Mark went through, from taking the character seriously to making sure he got the voice right, was really interesting.

I think one of the things I love most about “Smarkle” is that no one really saw it coming. Before Isadora was introduced I’m sure a lot of us were kind of just like “okay, let’s see which friend he ends up with.” Most of which were leaning towards Riley because they seemed to interact more.

But then PLOT TWIST they introduce a brand new character, one who actually reciprocates romantic feelings for him, one who matches (and in my bias opinion exceeds) his intelligence, one who challenges him in the best way.

They bonded over more than just their love of knowledge, and it wasn’t superficial or surface level. It’s like they were made for each other.

I just don’t get why people don’t like them together.

satans-armchair replied to your post“I looove Chaol and I agree he gets a shit ton of hate for no reason!…”

I think it’s vital that there’s a character that needs to grow to accept. It shows that not everyone is born accepting and it gives Chaol the massive opportunity for character development. Even if he doesn’t fully accept Aelin, he loved her and she will always have a space in his heart whether he comes to terms with what she is. I kinda don’t want it to be just “Chaol understands Aelin is okay and accepts her” I want it more steady and slow and meaningful if you get me?

I don’t understand why he gets so much hate either :/ I didn’t really like him because DORIAN but he is such a cool character and I want to know more about where he’s from and his family and his relationship with everyone he’s such a good man to his guards

Okay, okay I agree, I do, I really do but like…okay this is a point I’ve been wanting to make for a while so bear with me (I’m not going to get involved in the discourse Lauren said, Lauren lied) but Chaol is not the only one who has to change and grow with regards to his feelings towards fae and magic?

Aelin reflects in ToG that it’s maybe for the best that her magic/magic in general is gone. Pretty much her entire arc in HoF revolves around HER not being able to accept that part of herself. That’s one of the biggest reasons she can’t shift/fully access her power - she’s afraid of it; which is natural after all the propaganda she’s been exposed to?

Dorian too is terrified of his power because of what he’s been told/taught/the society they live in. He spends a huge amount of time fighting it, trying to control it, terrified of it. It takes them both a long time to accept their magic and themselves and they both spend pretty much an entire book coming to terms with it?

Chaol has to figure out the same things too except he doesn’t have the benefit of actually possessing magic himself? He has no firsthand experience with it but he still spends all of HoF helping…both Aelin and Dorian deal with their magic? He helps Dorian in trying to find a way to free it/hide him better…and he ensures that Aelin can get to Wendelyn where she’ll be safe/won’t be executed if she’s caught because of what she is.

I also think…and idk I don’t know if anyone else reads it this way so maybe i’m way off the mark but I think people misunderstand Chaol’s reactions towards Aelin in QoS? It is not just because of her magic/her fae heritage (he accepts Dorian’s magic, he accepts Aedion, and he works well with Rowan too) the problem is not what she is/that she has these things…it’s what she does with them.

Like, okay, picture things from Chaol’s POV for a second? We as readers know exactly what happened in Wendelyn, we know Maeve is a piece of work and we know that Aelin didn’t actually hurt anyone. We see things from her POV, we are quite literally inside her head. Chaol is across the sea, all Chaol hears is that the queen of Terrasen decided to encircle an entire city with her fire magic…and that’s an entire city of her people, fae, people like her. He’s sitting in Adarlan at this point, suffering from PTSD after what’s happened to him, Dorian is enslaved and suffering and Chaol blames himself entirely for that and then he hears this. and he’s sitting in a kingdom that he knows full well what it’s done to Aelin and her kingdom and he justifiably gets a little bit worried that she might turn that power on his people, his kingdom, his king. (who…she spends…a very large portion of QoS………trying to kill.

I feel like we forget this/don’t discuss it…and actually I’d like it discussed a hell of a lot more in the books as well, Aelin was flat out ready to kill Dorian. She refused to listen to Chaol. She refused to try. She was just like nope, I know best, he’s got to die, I’ve got to kill him. And I understand exactly where she’s coming from with her experiences but the fact of the matter is she was wrong. The point here is that there’s a lot of things going on perspective wise. Chaol is correct given the information that he has; Aelin is correct given the information that she has and this is why they clash because they can’t see past this, they both have solid, logical reasons that they’re right and they don’t understand things from the other person’s POV and neither does the fandom. This generates Problems.

So I don’t actually think that Chaol clashing with Aelin in QoS has anything to do with prejudices towards magic users. At this point in the story the man is actively working as a leader of a literal rebellion inside the city. He has been working for weeks at this point repeatedly risking his life over and over again to help magic users. And he does this throughout the book. He doesn’t have a magician problem he has an Aelin problem…And it’s a reasonable one as far as I’m concerned. (I’m not saying Aelin is unreasonable but I’m saying that I understand both sides. And there is genuine merit to both sides. And fandom makes this look so much easier than it actually is)

Chaol is, essentially I think, a good man. And what’s most poignant and interesting for me is that he is an incredibly human character. I mean that in the sense of him being..well literally human when there are all these fae and magic users running around but I also mean in his reactions, in his humanity itself. Chaol has always been, I think, what should have been one of the strongest voices for a reader/every day person to relate to?

Chaol, for me, presents a really interesting kind of trope subversion actually? Because he’s presented to us as this big, capable guy, very disciplined, an excellent warrior, an elite guard with a position that carries a huge amount of responsibility despite being at a young age. He’s aloof, he’s very loyal, very duty orientated, very serious and sensible.

But he’s also incredibly moral (I think a lot of these characters are presented to us as emotionless and unfeeling robots who just kill and do as they’re told etc and Chaol undermines that trope and that kind of toxic masculinity incredibly well) And this doesn’t show itself only in him looking down on other characters but he holds himself to those standards as well. Until the end of ToG Chaol had never killed another person before. And the way that he reacts to that is actually…incredibly human? He’s in shock. He seems to display a lot of the symptoms of PTSD in CoM (he stops wearing his sword, he struggles with the idea of him taking a life- even though it was in self-defence, even though he would do it again, even though he knows it was right- it still breaks something in him. He has nightmares about this, he reacts to it in short and it’s an incredibly visceral, empathetic, human reaction which is not something we’re used to seeing from characters like Chaol.

He shows an incredibly strong incredibly human and incredibly down to earth reaction to violence. Like, I’m pretty sure if I stabbed someone and got covered in their blood and they died as a direct result of this I’d be pretty not okay with that.  And this is what I mean what I say that Chaol is a pretty good reader voice in these books? Because this is…realistically…how I and how I think most people would react to this sort of thing? He isn’t emotionless. He isn’t invincible. He struggles with these things and that’s human and it’s compelling and it’s interesting because we don’t get to see it.

Usually protagonists just sail through this stuff. They have no qualms, they have no morals, it’s all about ‘whatever you have to do to get the job done’, they kill and torture and hurt people and it has no effect on them whatsoever because they’re Tough and Strong and capable of dealing with all of this. But people, you, me, Chaol, aren’t made that way. Killing bothers us, violence bothers us, we’re emotional beings and this is in our nature and Chaol reflects that nature incredibly well?

He’s flawed, yes. He has a lot of prejudices that he has to work to unlearn but he’s more than that. He’s not just a lesson for ‘sometimes you think bad things and have you fix yourself’ he’s also a very compelling, very broken character in a lot of ways.

I can make a pretty reasonable case for Chaol’s position in the castle being the way in which he escaped from an abusive household (the way that his father talks to him and treats him and emotionally manipulates him is not normal. Nor is the way that he talks about his mother. And repeatedly Chaol not being with his father is referred to as him having ‘freedom’ and giving up that freedom for Aelin’s sake. But it’s freedom. People with happy, healthy relationships with their parents don’t tend to think of being on their own and without them as freedom in the stark terms that Chaol does)

And when you consider his story with that context..it makes a lot more sense. Chaol (a lot like Lucien’s position in ACOTAR at the Spring Court) doesn’t have anywhere else to go and he doesn’t have anything that isn’t this position. He’s dedicated his life to this because it was a place where he mattered, where he seemed to be treated well, where he was doing something that he wanted to do and that’s a huge thing to do if he’s leaving an abusive situation- the strength to step out and actually do something that is fully his choice, to claim his independence and know that if he fails, if this backfires, if he loses this, he’s screwed. He has to go back. And that’s a terrifying prospect for anyone in Chaol’s situation.

So he clings to this and it’s not just blind loyalty, not after a certain point. I think it was when he was younger but he crosses a line. And it’s not just loyalty to the king or a corrupt regime it’s loyalty to Dorian - the first person who likely treated him fairly and with genuine love and compassion. It’s loyalty to the only thing that he has, quite literally, something that he’s given up everything for, something that he very seriously risked his freedom to attain and losing it is…not an inviting idea.

So by the time you swing round to QoS Chaol has basically lost…Quite literally everything. His position, his honour, his king, his humanity. He’s thrust into this war, becomes a rebel leader, is trying to do what he can for people while shouldering massive amounts of survivor’s guilt and PTSD over the things that he’s been through. And he just..keeps going. And going and going and going in trying to do the right thing whatever that may be.

I think that has always been Chaol’s driving force. I think it’s taken the guise of various different things, duty, loyalty, respect etc but it’s always been about that, it’s always been about trying to do what’s right. And before that was being loyal, it was keeping his word, it was doing his job to the very best of his ability. But it slowly becomes other things. It becomes fighting what he once defended, it becomes questioning everything that ever gave him a shred of safety and stability. It becomes taking on a war and a responsibility that is so much larger than he ever thought he would or could deal with and carrying it anyway because it’s the right thing to do.

And that for me is Chaol and Chaol’s arc in a nutshell and I….Like that a lot. I like that we have someone who is presented to us as being so, damn human. Moral and breakable and flawed and scared and hurt by the things that he’s done and the things that he’s seen. But he embodies one of the things we so often see with deeply human characters - that perseverance, that will to survive, to go on, to just keep fighting, just keep living, just keep going because that’s what people do, that’s what Chaol does and it’s just…idk dude I like this character a lot idk what else to tell you.

Sort of a screencap redraw for this prompt because I really love this shot.

Prompt: Powerful

Okay, so why did I pick Toguro for powerful? Well, he may not be the most powerful character in the series in terms of like power ranking, but his character just feels the most powerful to me. He lorded over everyone around him, with his demeanor, his strength and of course his height. He was this incredibly oppressive force for such a long stretch of time. No matter what else was happening during the tournament good or bad, you were reminded that he was there. You never forgot about him. He made a very powerful impression.

karinokoharu  asked:

Umm, I just want to ask but... Do you still ship YuriYuu because OtuRi is the roll now? (( I'm hoping not xD because I see them as best friends

Okay um, I’m really sorry if I misinterpret your ask because I have never heard the phrase “[ship name] is the roll” before ^ ^;;;

I know that OtaYuri or whatever the ship is called is really popular now, and while I love Otabek as a character and am interested in seeing his friendship with Yurio grow, hopefully to the levels of Phichit + Yuuri and Chris + Victor, I personally do not really ship them romantically ^ ^;

YuriYuu is still one of my main ships, the ending of the series certainly did not discourage my love of it at all. In general I ship Everyone x Yuuri ^ ^;; (I totally would not be opposed to Otabek joining in on that, kinda want to draw a Yurio -> Yuuri <- Otabek tagteam…)

“… You know she did tell me about the weird shit she dreamed about but I thought that was just sleep deprivation.”

Awwwww <3

I love the pizza family, they’re amazing side characters.

And Jenny’s just the best.

Uh… yeah you might have to help him to his house Jenny

Finny is such… a kind and sweet character. He has been through so much. But the best part of him is definitely how  he is not weak on his resolution to conserve his happy life. He’ll kill for that if he has to, and that makes him so strong and, spite all we think of him at first glance, as morally grey as his peers.

And I really like Finny precisely for that, because he shows that everyone can be morally grey given a chance. Some people may argue that is not really morally dubious his actions when he is hired to protect the manor, and when the people he has killed intended to kill his master as well, but still… Not everyone can kill at such a young age without having an extreme determination and a lot of will.

This is actually, one of the reason why Ciel would never dare to get rid of him (or the rest of the servants). That kind of loyalty can’t be find everywhere. It’s a kind of loyalty that even Sebastian lacks. It is a pure loyalty that is capable of doing impure things to protect his happiness along his master.

I Don’t Like You (Cassian Andor x Reader)

AN:  Okay so I freaking love star wars if you didn’t already know and rogue one was amazing! I saw it twice and would happily go and see it 100 more times it was that good. I really like the character Cassian Andor so I did this :) Read part two and part three here

You and Cassian Andor had been enemies ever since you joined the rebellion when you were just fifteen years old. Cassian was only seventeen at the time. You both first met on your second day in the rebellion, when you accidentally walked into his reprogrammed Imperial droid K-2SO, making you fall over. Young Cassian appeared from behind his droid, with his tan skin and gorgeous curly hair catching you off guard, but not as much as his accent did. The first words he ever spoke to you however, were what started this ongoing feud between you both.

“Hey newbie! Watch where you’re going.” He spoke with evident annoyance, resting his hand on K-2SO’s shoulder. Your eyebrows furrowed in anger at this strangers rude tone, who did he think he was talking to you in such way?!

You always had a feisty attitude so you weren’t going to let this stranger get away with speaking to you like he did. Perhaps this was another reason why you both clashed like you did, you both were not one to back away from a fight. “I’m sorry that I didn’t see your droid, but you don’t have to be such an ass about it.” You huffed out in annoyance as you rose from the ground, brushing off the dirt on your pants. You could have sworn you saw the tiniest smirk appear on his face for a split second, but his rude expression quickly replaced it once again.

You were both glaring at each other with pure hatred and you only had literally just met. This guy had issues. Your staring contest was interrupted however, by the droid you bumped into only seconds before. “Please, ignore my friend Cassian here. It’s fine, accidents happen. In fact, there is a 70% chance that it could happen again.” You couldn’t help but smile at this droid. He was strange, yet you found him to be oddly kind. Now fully directing your attention to the droid and completely ignoring the stranger whom you now know to be called Cassian, you held your hand out to greet yourself.

“Nice to meet you, i’m Y/N.” The droid gratefully shook your hand, maybe a little too enthusiastically but that’s alright. “And i’m K-2SO. I must say welcome to the rebellion, I hope you’re fitting in well.” You couldn’t help but let your eyes wander over to Cassian, standing their like a child throwing a tantrum with his arms crossed and chin raised. You couldn’t help but roll your eyes at him.

“K2 we need to get going. We have work to do.” He stated giving you a quick glance and then walking off. “I’m sorry about him Y/N-” You interrupted his apologies, placing your hand on his shoulder. “It’s not your fault K2. I hope I get to see you again soon.” You genuinely smiled up at him, glad to have made your first friend on Yavin 4. “Well there is a 99.9% chance that will happen.” You chuckled at the droid, he must have a thing for statistics.

Five years later nothing much had changed over the years since you and Cassian first met. You both still hated each other even despite K2’s attempts at making you become friends. Everyone at the base knew of your disliking for one another and made sure to never pair you two together for a mission. Could you imagine how that would turn out?

You had just got back from a mission on Tatooine and were enjoying the feeling of laying in your own bed when your relaxing was interrupted by a voice coming over the intercom. “Y/N Y/L/N and Cassian Andor, report to Mon Mothma immediately.” You shot up from your bed, why did she want to see you and Cassian? It’s not like she would ever team you up for a mission, so what was going on?

You hurriedly pulled on your jacket and rushed to Mon Mothma’s office. On your arrival you could see Cassian standing next to her, tapping his foot in annoyance waiting for you. Typical Cassian. “I came as soon as I heard the announcement.” You entered the room, allowing the conversation to begin. “Not soon enough.” You heard him mumble, sending him a death glare. You almost forgot Mon Mothmas was there, her words startling you a bit. “Enough you two! Now i’m going to need full cooperation from you both on this. I don’t want any arguing or whining because this needs to be done. You both joined the rebellion for the same reason, to protect people against the empire so I expect you to do just that.”

You hadn’t seen her this serious in a while, neither of you attempting to interrupt her talking. “I need you both to work together, go on a mission together to Jedha. The rebellion needs our best on this job and you two are our best. I will brief you both further on the mission tomorrow morning. You leave for Jedha tomorrow night. You can leave now and may the force be with you.” Both of your jaws dropped, eyes wide and faces wearing shocked expressions. You had to give it to her though, when she needs to be Mon Mothma can be a badass. But back to the point, there is no way you could work with Cassian. Mon Mothma had made it clear that nothing will change her mind however, so you and Cassian both leaved the room, still shocked from this information.

You both just kind of stood there, not really knowing what to say to each other. You both hadn’t had a conversation in a long time and you’ve both never had a civil conversation ever. But you couldn’t help the thought that came to your mind after standing there for a few minutes. “Oh gosh K2’s gonna love this.” You groaned as you put your head in your hands. You heard Cassian sigh, leaning back against the wall. “This is gonna be the worst mission ever.” And for the first time in your life, you agreed with him on something.

Omg this is open! I love you guys💝💝💝 Im a trash for this blog. Can you make fluff headcanon for Doppio and his s/o? Like how he deal with stress and how his s/o help him with it. R-really? OwO Wow I never thought that people would like this blog as much as you all do I’m so happy! <3 I really hope that these are okay :3 apologies for the initial confusion though I got a little confused when I first read this ^^ @paulilovett

- Ghost

·         Look at this boy he just screams fluffy, one look at that cute freckled face and suddenly S/O’s all over him with cuddles, hugs and kisses, leaving him flustered and red in the face (which only warrants more smooches from S/O)

·         There are many days where Doppio enjoys nothing more than wasting a day away by his S/O’s side, but he likes it most when the two of them cuddle up together especially when he can snuggle up to them and rest his head against their chest – the gentle strum of their heartbeat seems to brush all of his problems off of his shoulders and just having them by his side makes him feel like the luckiest man alive

·         There are often times where he’s torn between spending time with his less important jobs and spending time with his S/O, he values his boss but he is helpless to his partners wishes and words so it’s really tough for him; however if his partner is understanding of just how important this work is he’ll appreciate it tremendously

·         Doppio would be sure to treat his S/O whenever he can, he’s grateful that they’re so supportive and often times hardly believes that he was lucky enough to have such a wonderful partner so he’ll treat them like royalty – if they want something then he’ll do his damn hardest to get it for them just to see them smile

·         Eskimo kisses are his absolute favorite, whenever he and S/O are together and he wants to be affectionate he isn’t so bold as to kiss them on the lips so out of the blue so he’ll do this instead; not only does it make his partner giggles but it also lets them know when he’s in an affectionate and loving mood (which to be honest is nearly every time he’s in his S/O’s presence)

Dealing with stress

·         Considering the fact that Doppio’s the closest anyone can get to Diavolo stress is going to be something he’s well acquainted with in his life – the boss may have promised to keep him protected but that doesn’t mean he doesn’t get panicked and paranoid at the thought of being confronted by any rival gang members

·         Once the thoughts start it’s very hard to get them to stop no matter what he does and even if he doesn’t say anything to his S/O it’s easy to see what’s wrong – his partner will catch him staring at something but clearly not paying attention to what he was staring at, his eyes wide and his breathing a little heavier than usual as his mind whirs with all sorts of things that could happen if he wasn’t careful

·         If S/O decides to call him out on it it’s almost alarming how shocked he gets when he realises what he’s been doing, he’ll practically tear himself away from whatever he was looking at as if he’s been burned and just stare at his partner vehemently denying anything’s wrong even though it’s in vain as his voice slowly fades to near silence; he might deny that anything’s up but all it takes is S/O taking him into their arms and it’s as if the dam bottling up his worries snaps in two

·         If S/O isn’t aware of his position as the boss’ closest underling then he’ll be sure to stop himself from giving too much away even though he just wants to let it all out, he’ll hold back and instead confide in them about all of the stress that he’s been dealing with, practically clutching to them and letting his head rest against their shoulder as his partner comforts him – needless to say once he’s calmed down his grasp will grow a little looser and the only things to come from his mouth are mumbles about how grateful to have such a wonderful S/O

·         On the other hand, if it’s S/O who’s under stress he’ll be a little unsure of what to do since dealing with stress isn’t something that he can do easily; the most he can think of which would help is getting them somewhere comfortable where it can just be the two of them and he’ll reassure them that they’re doing well and that he’ll always be there to help them if they ever need it (unless his S/O prefers solitude, in which case he’d keep his distance but wouldn’t be too far behind in case they did want his company)

Sharing bed

·         When Doppio and S/O first have to share a room together he’s surprisingly calm about it much to their surprise and that in itself brings up the question as to why, however that’s answered soon enough as the moment it comes for them to head to bed he’ll make a b-line to the door commenting that he’s going to get some more pillows and blankets so that his sleep on the floor won’t be too uncomfortable

·         It’s only when they offer to share the bed between them instead that Doppio actually reacts – shock flashes across his face along with a pretty visible blush as he tries to assure them that he’ll be fine sleeping on the floor and that he doesn’t want them to be uncomfortable, however if they insist then he’ll eventually just relent

·         When the two of them actually do share the bed he’ll be too nervous to even accidentally brush backs with them so he’ll stick as far to the edge of the bed as he possibly can, he’d almost run the risk of falling off of the bed but he wouldn’t dare to budge in fear of making S/O uncomfortable in any way; and it’s only until he hears their breathing slow signalling that they’ve fallen asleep that he gains enough courage to look in their direction

·         Taking in the sight of their sleeping face he’ll be almost entranced – all of their worries seemed to have washed away from their face and the softness of their features are more enhanced in the gentle throes of sleep – they looked so beautiful in his eyes and he can’t bring himself to look away

·         (Now that you’ve mentioned it I had to put this in here) Should the boss ‘call’ from certain places while they’re asleep S/O might wake up to find Doppio curled close up to them, his head pressed against their chest as if listening to their heartbeat and muttering to the boss about how much he loves them; regardless of whether S/O hears him or not he’ll go red once he realizes they’re awake, either pushing himself away with a flurry of apologies or waiting for them to start scolding him, however with a face as cute as his they’ll let him stay where he was (and maybe even wrap their arms around him to pull him a little closer)

The fact that Finn exists is just so so SO important to me you guys?!?!?

He’s not the Cool Stoic Black Male ™ lead? He’s terrified? He’s scared?? And he’s open about it?!?! And the narrative DOESN’T PUNISH HIM OR DECLARE HIM COWARDLY BECAUSE OF IT??

He’s a black male and he’s allowed to be human and experience the full spectrum of human emotion on a big screen in a FUCKING BLOCKBUSTER and that’s really fucking amazing to me.

How do you have so many ships and yet stay so positive about every one of them despite people fighting each other about these ships? (Ps your an inspiration!)

okay this ask made my morning, seriously its so cute thank u!! im glad my optimism affects others!

i stay positive because it’s really what i love to do with the characters!! especially with the cap2 squad, i see all the fun and positive aspects in their friendships and find it really natural to imagine a samsteve or stevenat romance, for example. if i only shipped one thing, i’d run out of steam and art ideas super fast! just like i enjoy steve’s star-crossed lovers angst with peggy and bucky, i adore his bond and trust with sam and nat ;o; and branching out of steve ships, i’m in a huge sambucky kick right now *o*

i know it’s hard to stay positive with the amount of ship wars, but what i do is surround myself with friends who don’t take part in them :p i also don’t go into the tags like, ever, and just stay in my own comfort bubble where i can create content that /i/ want to see. being mature about it is important, like for example i have so many friends that never see stevenat as romantic, and that’s totally cool with me! point is, don’t let people think you can’t multiship, the more the merrier i think!

seriously, as long as you love the characters and use the unfollow button generously YOURE GOOD <33

Thank you for being so eloquent when talking about your dislike for Itachi - I've always been bothered by the hero-worship his character gets from the fandom and your reasons for disliking them expressed it better than I ever could. ♥ The whole thing reminds me a lof of Snape in the last HP books. It makes me rage when peple go 'oh, he was in love with Lily, so his actions make sense' like - just ugh D: I wish authors would just let villains be villains

Snape…ugh, okay, yeah, the way people try to excuse his actions because of his feelings for Lily really pisses me off. I like him as a morally grey asshole who made all the wrong choices and tried to make it better but couldn’t quite manage it. He, at least, is a consistent, understandable character, no matter your opinion of him.
