i just really like this scene ok

“If we kiss, it’ll definitely hurt a lot.”

“…How was it?”

“Just as I expected. It was like a rough, dry wilderness. Also, it was really, really warm… Hey, it’s cold, so let’s do it one more-”

the way keith had his towel on his head made me think of the kiss scene in toradora so obviously i had to draw it

Hard to argue with that logic.  ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

(Thank you to the MANY lovely people that recommended this scene from Deathly Hallows!)

I have no excuse or much context for this but basically McCree and Fareeha are both Native American and they like to troll Morrison. Based on this scene from “Dance me Outside”.

Like I said, she had fond memories of being relaxed and comfortable in Nantucket, so that makes sense to me that she would just not want to hold onto that house and go to a place that she had fond memories for. I think the turn at the whaling museum is nuts, it’s kind of wonderful. She’s evolved yet again in that she’s suddenly really empathetic to the animals and the environment. I thought, “Yeah, OK, good. She’s growing.” I liked that part too. - Kelly Bishop

like…listen…everything is messy as hell and Lukas is in a really bad place and it’s all stressful as anything but…that scene with Philip and Lukas and Anne…where Lukas admits out loud to someone other than Philip, that he likes Philip and it’s hard for him…and Anne reassured him it was ok and kissed his cheek…I’d like to thank each and every deity for that scene because it cleansed my skin and watered my crops and added years to my life

Some stuff about Yuri On Ice EP#7...

OKOK OK i know that everyone is freaking about about this episode because i am too (trust me ive died like 200 times already) but !!!!

instead of the (maybe? probably???) kiss scene what really hit me was this !!!! line !!!!!

The original words were “離れずにそばにいてよ!” A more literal translation is perhaps “Just don’t leave me and stay by my side!”

WHICH… are the exact words to the title of the song Viktor was skating to in the beginning (yup yup the one Yuuri skated to as well). Like, exact words. In the English fandom the song is more commonly translated to “Stay By My Side” or “Stay Close To Me” I think?

IN ADDITION !!!! There are probably already a bunch of posts about this circling around but a while ago the OST tracklist leaked causing a huge explosion on Japanese Twitter:

SO…. You see track #24 iS A DUET VERSION OF THIS EXACT SONG which means it will probably be played in the last episode and thus there is a huge huge chance that we will see Viktor and Yuuri skate to this together i’m just dreaming a girl can dream right

im dead this is too much tHIS SHOW IS TOO MUCH

I’ve seen a couple discussions on the conversation between Mutsuki and Saiko, and I really want to give my take on it. I have no clue if someone already explained it all, but I honestly LOVE this scene so much that I’m ok with just ranting about it to vent my feeeeels

Saiko is pretty intuitive, and I love her for that. You generally see her in the background when it comes to character interactions, observing their actions and expressions. As a result she’s in a good position to see the little details other people miss. Multiple times we’ve seen her have a deeper understanding of the people around her than anyone else.

So when Saiko said that she smelled blood,

specifically human blood, she wasn’t referencing menstruation. She even pointed out that she already knew Mutsuki was a girl way before this and that him bringing it up was utterly pointless. If you look at Saiko’s expressions throughout their conversion, it shifts from wary and uncomfortable,

to first shocked, disturbed, and then tearful.

That would be a pretty strange reaction for someone who was just told something they were already aware of. It was the type of reaction someone had when something horrifying they never wanted to hear was just confirmed. Mutsuki lying straight to Saiko’s face probably didn’t help his case either.

That’s because Mutsuki didn’t misunderstand the situation, he knew exactly what Saiko could have been referencing, and it definitely had nothing to do with his sex. He was most likely panicked over the fact that she may have been catching on to the smell of human blood on his body (probably more than once, considering she thought it was important to finally bring it up to him).

To get out of the situation the best way he could, he basically interrupted her train of thought and instantly told her that he was a girl. He was almost in a rush to get it out, which was pretty unlike him. Mutsuki decided that using the female card as a distraction, which would also imply that any smell of blood would be due to menstruation, was a good strategy.

But considering Q and human blood smell differently (Saiko specifically taking the time to differentiate between the smell of just blood, and human blood), probably means Mutsuki knew his excuse was shaky, and that he’s now in a pretty bad situation.

Now the current situation as a whole is something along the lines of:

  • Saiko knows Mutsuki lied to her and that he’s doing some very disturbing things behind the Q’s and CCG’s backs.
  • Saiko is crushed and disappointing that Mutsuki lied to her and is actually trying to hide it, which she’s probably taking it as him trying to hide the hobby the best he can so he can continue hurting/killing other people.
  • Mutsuki probably knows his excuse for the smell of blood was very weak and that he’s not in a good situation with Saiko right now. He’s shaken up, considering his nervous tick was immediately present and very obvious once he ran from ended the conversation.

The fact that it’s implying that he’s doing exactly what we think he’s doing to other people in private, shouldn’t be surprising as Ishida has been foreshadowing it a ton this last Arc. If it’s true, then Mutsuki has officially stopped restraining the sadistic part of his personality, (whether it’s natural to him or not) and decided to upgraded from animals to humans.

Where are you keeping your collection of tongues this time, Mutsuki?

TL;DR Mutsuki is probably killing/eating humans, and was scared Saiko was catching on, and as a result tried to use the ‘I’m female’/’I menstruate sometimes’ card as an explanation for the occasional smell of human blood on his body.

And honestly I’m a bit nervous about their relationship at the moment…
Hopefully Saiko won’t do anything drastic about the situation, as Mutsuki’s unpredictable in the fact that we have no clue how far he’d be willing to go to keep his tendencies a secret. Doesn’t help that Ishida has shown us he’s willing to attempt murder hurt a close friend (Akira) if that’s what the situation asks of him.

…”The music was a blade, knifing through the dark. The melody sang and the Corsai arced back as one, as if repelled by the single, massive beam. They hissed like steam and broke apart, and fell away beneath the music…”

ahhh I’m so sorry! hahaha I should probably explain this drawing (* ̄∀ ̄) ok so I drew this at 2am. I just had this random and sudden urge to draw a cute solangelo scene, but when I got to the 3rd frame out of nowhere I just really really felt like drawing Leo, and this is the outcome…

I should really start getting to sleep earlier .-.

ok but that scene that leads to dizzee kissing thor is one of the great moments in television in 2016… like the way the scene immediately focuses on the concept of freedom and safe spaces where “free people run free”… and dizzee already being impressed and looking like he just figured out something about himself…. and then thor says ‘my turn’ and the music playing in the background changes and it’s enticing and it speaks of attraction… the “it’s okay, go on, kiss him” and dizzee looks surprised but also happy and then the song slows down and they start moving towards each other and dizzee looks completely mesmerized like he’s having an epiphany and you see thor smiling at him and then they ‘kiss’ and as they pull apart the song ‘set me free’ starts playing and the lyrics go “come set me free, you got the keys, come rescue me”, the beat picks up and we see dizzee dancing carefree and smiling… it’s so freaking beautiful and poetic!!

ok no but I really, really, love how Credence Barebones and Percival Graves were portrayed? Not particularly in the shipping way, but just how every scene in which they interacted were super INTENSE.

You could see how Graves manipulated Credence by offering him the affection and love that his mother never gives. Not just through words (like his promises of how Credence would be honoured and praised among the wizarding world), but also through physical affection (healing Credence’s hands, holding him close) and through gifts (the deathly hallows necklace). He definitely came off as the kind of man kids yell “STRANGER DANGER” about but that just further proves how effectively Graves was portrayed, because he IS a bad, bad man who emotionally manipulated a love-starved boy for his own means.

And don’t get me started about Credence. I LOVED Credence simply because of how human he was. Like whenever Graves offers him comfort, the way he never quite meets Grave’s eyes shows that either 1) Credence does not want to admit that he craves Grave’s affection or 2) he knows that Graves is manipulating him, or 3) both. But the fact that Credence kept coming back to meet Graves just shows the extent of his desperation for love. All of his pent-up anger and sadness that culminated in the Obscurus really hits you because of it sheer destructive power. Credence’s full range of emotions were shown best NOT through his words or expressions (he’s pretty stone-faced throughout), but through his silence and actions, which is absolutely human and raw and genuine.

I was pretty upset that Credence was killed without any chance to reform. But at the same time, I LOVED it. Because the lesson here is that society is unrelenting towards misunderstood and misguided people, and if Credence had lived happily and learned to find proper emotional support, the ending would be terribly cliché and unrealistic. Especially as Newt tries to tell him that he is not alone in his anger and loneliness, Newt offers another form of support in the form of equality and mutual understanding, rather than the one Graves offered of a highly-dependent power imbalance. But just as soon Credence is offered this new insight, he is killed by MACUSA. It’s tragic, heartbreaking, and all the more vivid because of it.

It also struck me that towards the end, Graves yelled that “he only listens to me” (or something along those lines) when chasing down Obscurus-Credence, all the while calling to him and telling him that they will be powerful together. I’m certainly glad Credence didn’t listen to him again. Graves naturally thinks that his hold over Credence is absolute. He isn’t really fazed when Credence rejects him for the first time, because he is so sure the Credence would always come back to him. Not particularly sure of what I’m getting at, but just wanted to point it out.

But in the end, Credence is dead and Graves/Grindelwald is simply arrested. There is not much justice for Credence, and while he certainly deserves much, much better, I’m glad the movie didn’t do it that way. So yeah, I love how the movie portrayed their relationship and how impactful it was. By no means was it a healthy relationship, nor was there redemption for either character. But it hit me in the heart real good, and I personally feel that it was wonderful storytelling.

Also: Why didn’t Grindelwald just use a spell to make Credence to do his bidding? An Imperius Curse would do the job faster and more efficiently. My guess is that 1) Credence is actually a powerful wizard in his own right, as seen by the strength of his Obscurus, and cannot be commanded, or 2) Grindelwald just wanted to play with his emotions, which is sad in the way that Grindelwald never needed Credence’s dependence even in the slightest.

If you’ve somehow read til this point, what do you think?

Edit: I haven’t actually read the screenplay, so some people have pointed out that Credence might actually be alive!

Ok, now I’m rewatching SBS Gayo Daejun in 2013 and there’s a part that all the artists sing a song. When x_o appears, KD is holding each other with their lives and ok, it’s cute omg. But what surprised was the fact that the other members looked at the scene and started to hold the other who were at their sides, like, do u really want to make things more natural or what? The act made things more weird than if they let it go, but that’s just me.

Spoilers for Sherlock 4x3

As a Sherlolly fan, of course I was totally on edge for that “I love you” that I never doubted was for Molly.  That scene nearly broke me, because of the hurt I saw in Molly and the honesty I saw in Sherlock. But what really did me in was the scene just afterwards where Sherlock lost his mind and destroyed that coffin. Can we talk about this for a moment?

Why that aggression? We’ve never seen a reaction like that from Sherlock. The anger could be from from the need to destroy the coffin made for Molly - that he could no longer deal with a coffin made for her death. I can almost buy that. He’s dealt with death before. Mary died and he was not ok after that. His friends have been threatened before and he’s been driven to do wild things to save them. But that aggression was new, so I think it was more.

He ran his hands over the plate that said I Love You before he went crazy. Being reminded of what was said and the emotion behind it  - both hers and his - could have pushed him over the edge. Knowing he got her to admit something that she didn’t want to admit could have pushed him.  I can almost buy that. He has known Molly is in love with him. Heck, even John got it after the Irene thought. John thinks with his penis and assumes any man would want hot sexy Irene before mousy Molly. But Sherlock knew right away it was Molly that loved him because he’s known for a long time that she loves him.  That’s how he gets her to do things for him. That’s how he’s always worked with her. Even his subconscious mind in TAB allowed Molly to scold him for it. So would having it voiced really push him over the edge? I don’t think so.

Having to actually verbalize that he loves Molly could have pushed him. He does care for her. He told her she was the one that counted. He tells her she matters most of all the people in his life. And while I do think he feels some romantic attachment to her, I don’t think he would have ever verbally said those words out loud had he not had to save her life. So I can almost buy that saying the word pushed him. But Sherlock says things all the time that he knows people want to hear to get them to say the things that HE wants to hear. He’d very much a master of it - like his sister. Think of what he said to John when John thought they would die on the subway. Think of what he said to Irene when he was figuring out the passcode. So would having to say that to Molly to get her to say it back really have pushed him? I don’t think so.

For me, what pushed Sherlock to the limit was the fact that he didn’t win. His sister is absolutely right. That conversation cost him Molly’s friendship. They can never go back to being just friends who never admitted those words, even if Sherlock tells her he did it just to save her life. Sherlock’s emotions had been played the way he plays other people’s emotions. And now everything is different. John knows how he feels.  Mycroft knows how he feels.  MOLLY knows how he feels. And they all know how deeply his emotions do run. He’s no longer the man who can just “delete” and move on.  Moreover, Molly’s emotions were played. Euros points out that he hurt Molly.  “Look what you did to her. Look what you did to yourself?” THAT’S what broke Sherlock.

In playing the game, Sherlock didn’t win. He lost. He lost his cover of not being emotional. He lost his secrets of not caring. He lost his ability to detach and delete. He lost the sociopath.

But in losing, I don’t think it’s Eurus that won. Nope.  I think Molly won.

Harry Potter rated by what happens to Ernie MacMilan
  • Philosophers Stone: he's sorted into hufflepuff but other than that he's not really mentioned 1/10
  • Chamber of secrets: Ernie leads a group of hufflepuffs against Harry because he thinks he's the heir of slytherin, he makes up a dance and sings "Potter you rotter" any time he sees Harry, catches Harry when Justin gets petrified and dramatically shouts "at the scene of he crime!!!" Overall he's just super extra, also when he realised it wasn't Harry he immediately is like 'yo that Malloy boy is suspicious amirite?' 10/10 good Ernie content
  • Prisoner of azkaban: ok I'm not gonna lie I lost my copy of askaban so I haven't read it as recently as the rest but I'm pretty sure Ernie is only mentioned in passing anyway so no big loss for me 1/10
  • Goblet of fire: not in this one so much, gets angry at Harry for taking away the hufflepuff glory and wears the "Potter stinks" badge, Harry sees him in herbology and gets upset when Ernie won't talk to him because 'he thought they were friends', I feel Ernie was under-utilised 4/10
  • Order Of The Phoenix: oh man this is the good stuff, he gets hufflepuff prefect and won't shut up about it, he walks up to Harry at the start of the year after Luna said she believed him and is all 'haha don't worry it's not just weirdos who believe you! I, Ernest Macmillan, do too!!' Like thank god he's back to being extra, he studies like 8 hours a day for his OWLS and brags about it, gets in a fight with Malloy because taking point off each other undermines the position of being prefect, trains in the DA and aces his DADA exam then immediately after school ends hexes malfoy on the train for taking house points from hufflepuff earlier in the year like damn he held that grudge and met him after school - wonderful Ernie content 11/10
  • Half Blood Prince: he's in Harry's potions class and DADA class, during apparition class he succeeds but ends up pirouetting in the great hall and dean Thomas laughs at him, can't take the exam because he's too young so he ends up in the potions class with Malloy and Harry in which he tried to create his own potion to one-up harry which doesn't work and he's left with like a purple sludge in his cauldron, could've used more Ernie imo but what's there is A* 8/10
  • Deathly Hallows: minimal Ernie but the part he is there is the greatest because he is the student to stand up and say "what if we want to stay and fight" when they're told to leave and honestly that's the greatest line of the battle of hogwarts, also his name isn't listed as any of the dead so we can assume he survived and is being extra to this day, anyway that one line saves this book 9/10 would rather the epilogue was about him

i can’t believe this like, lando and luke really don’t have that many scenes together in the OT but then those scenes are just so fucking intimate for no reason ??

literally the first time they meet luke is falling from the sky and lando catch him, what kind of first meeting

then there’s that scene in the falcon where lando just grip luke’s shoulder and luke nod back at him like they have a whole conversation with lando asking luke if he’s ok but also telling him at the same time you’re going to be ok and i’m here and luke is like “i’m ok” but also “thank you” ??? and then lando casually touches luke’s waist and his hand lingers ?? like it’s no big deal …like those two didn’t just fucking met !!! wtf

and then there’s that nod shared between them in rotj when lando is disguised as one of Jabba’s men and Luke is just about to be Extra™ and backflip, so much is shared through that nod, the weight of the time spent together creating this ridiculously complicated plan, a glimpse of the deep understanding they have of each other … truly unbelievable
