This is all just gay propaganda and I don't wanna catch 'the gay'*

Uhm they’re part of the community btw sweaty uwu and we’re the reason no one likes the gays, because forming language to fit our needs is obviously bad, but not taking such language serious is really progressive

Hey. I need some advice. You can ignore this whenever you want but I just need to let this out of my head. I'm no longer satisfied in how I draw and what I draw. What should I do?

I don’t mind buddy, can’t ignore someone in need! So here you go :D
I’m no expert in art or whatsoever, but I’ll try my best.

I want you to look at a recent drawing you made, just previously. Or you could quickly draw up something and set it beside you. Look at it and ponder, “Why am I unsatisfied?” Because there might be a few main reasons why you’re feeling that way, and trust me; I’ve hit that block too.

You say, “how you draw”.

Maybe it’s the way you make your figures. You might be stepping on that line that you notice “what the…” with your drawings, and you’re just confused why everything doesn’t look right? Or something doesn’t feel right. Well then, that means something in your perception improved. That’s right, when you start seeing something, even a bit wrong from your drawing, there’s a big chance that you have improved. Now your job now is to check out tutorials or actually look at references.

That might be a bit boring and tedious, but art demands practice and time (like everything you want to do in this world), and sometimes something fresh is the thing you need! You need to refresh that love of art.

(It was something that I neglected doing in the past lol)

You also said, “what you draw”.

Is it the subject itself? Maybe what you need is something new to draw. If you keep on drawing faces and heads, maybe it’s time to try out bodies. If you keep trying to draw bodies, maybe it’s time to check out hands and feet. Different expressions, or maybe even a room full of people to challenge yourself. Or maybe you need to try something new altogether! How about try to, perhaps, draw rooms? Furniture, plants?

Sometimes we get frustrated of what we draw because it’s the same thing all the time when you’re drawing. Admittedly I get that too. That’s why I try to draw something new on my sketchbook.

Or rmaybe, you’d need a boost. Maybe that slump is because you think ‘I’m not improving enough.“ Well, here’s something I want you to do, if ever. Go and get a drawing/sketchbook you did like, in the distant past. A year ago or so. Look at it and remember what you were feeling. Or, maybe draw something you drew and see how you draw them now. Promise, all you need is a boost to remind yourself you’re all on your way.

Every new drawing that you make should have a bit of a challenge, or somewhere as you draw you’d feel like you’re getting too lenient; too easy. Sometimes when I draw my comics, you’d see I’d try out new things. New poses. Try to sneak in this hand- which I HATE drawing- but when I see that I get it right? Gosh, man. I just want to high-five the sky. I did a good job! That feeling would be present if you want to are satisfied.

I hope this helps!

I know my original content has been… less lately, since acowar. Even just before it came out, I was pretty burnt out on it all. So I just wanted to say sorry if any of you have noticed a change; I know I’m reblogging a lot more than I was before because I don’t have the energy/motivation to do my own things, and a lot of it is non-sjm stuff. And I think a lot of my stuff was driven by asks immediately after acowar, anyway, not necessarily things I wanted to post.

A lot of this has to do with acowar itself, and a lot of it has to do with the fandom. It’s just not as welcoming of a place as it was before. People feel like they can’t enjoy the book, they feel like they can’t criticize the book, and so what does that leave us with? Pretty much nothing to discuss. A bunch of posts based on gifs that get really old scrolling through. It’s a bit frustrating. Not to mention the negativity towards one another. It makes it difficult to get excited about coming up with new ideas and posts and such.

So anyway, I’m probably going to keep that trend up, tbh, of doing more reblogging and less original stuff, and more general book stuff for a while, rather than just acotar/tog. I do have a bunch of fics/prompts I’m working on, so I’ll still post those, slowly but surely. I’ll still post stuff if it comes to me, it just might be a lot less for a while.

maliciousunicorn  asked:

you know, i assume you were kidding when u suggested Six is a host in the tags of some post, but thats fucking groundbreaking and u should expand on it ASAP

Ok so I’m half kidding and half not but how effing wild would that be is Six were a host?
I can’t do any checks right now due to the site being down BUT consider:
1. Six just survived being drowned in lava. I can’t quite see how anyone but a pacted host could survive that.
2.Six’s weapon was summoned nearly the same way Ava’s was.
3. Six TOTALLY recognized Wrathia’s statue.
There is more but I’d need to reread the comic. Anyway so those are my main reasons for thinking that Strategos Six is a host. Now, why would a host be working for Titan, you ask? Because Six’s demon is Greed.
So, it would not surprise me at all if one of the demons betrayed the others. Greed would make the most sense. Say Greed wants power above all else. Siding with Wrathia would have been a smart move, until Titan took over. Then Greed was pretty much screwed unless they went along with Wrathia’s plan. When they met Six, it would be perfect opportunity to change sides. After all, Wrathia’s plan is more of a last-ditch effort to survive than an actual battle plan. So, Greed meets Six, an ambitious (and lets be honest a pretty small, non-threatening) young follower, and together they climb through the ranks to more powerful positions. A much better plan than to go along with rag-tag group of beaten aliens/children who’ve already had their asses kicked once (and that was when the aliens had their own army!).
So yeah, long story short, Six totally made a pact with Greed to gain power by climbing Titan’s ranks, and now that Wrathia stands a chance their pact is in jeopardy. Also Wrathia will be PISSED when she finds out that she was betrayed.

i really like lars but it feels like the show is trying to give him a redemption arc when he has no reason to need one??
he’s literally just a kid who’s kinda of a jerk and clearly has a lot of anxiety and self esteem problems
but now he’s staying behind on fucking homeworld to be someone ‘who deserves to live’??
lars bby you haven’t done anything that would make you not deserve it??

Sheriff Knows Best

Stiles/Derek, G, 2K words, Sheriff POV, Coffeeshop AU, matchmaker!Sheriff

(Credit for the title to @cobrilee!)

This is an expansion of the following idea, written by the lovely @artemis69:

the coffee!AU, where John goes to the same coffee shop every day, and there is this very grumpy, quiet barista that always makes him amazing coffee and keep the best pastries for him. And one day the Sheriff learns that Derek is the one to bake them all, so he decides: this will be my son in law, I need a reason to have this man in my family for at least forty to fifty years. Then he matchmakes with no subtility whatsoever, basically offering his only son on a silver plate, Stiles spluttering all the way (but he takes Derek’s number anyway because the guy is just amazingly cute)

John’s on his regular morning stroll when he stops in his tracks and takes in the brand-new coffee shop, complete with a banner advertising their opening day. The little corner space has been boarded up for over a year, and John had no idea it was opening today.

Any new businesses are a boon for Beacon Hills, especially family-run ones like this one is rumored to be, so John ducks inside. It’s warm and homey, and there’s a pair of young dark-haired people behind the counter, close enough in features that they’re probably siblings. The quiet bickering points that direction, too.

They stop, though, when they see the Sheriff—the uniform tends to have that effect—and he pastes on his public servant smile. “Hi there. I saw this place was open and wanted to come on in and introduce myself. Sheriff John Stilinski.”

“Oh, it’s so nice to meet you,” the woman says, holding out her hand for a shake. A nice strong grip—John likes this girl already. “I’m Laura Hale, and I own this place with my brother Derek, our resident grumpy barista-slash-baker.”

Derek rolls his eyes at Laura, but his smile to John is genuine, if small. “Hi, Sheriff. Nice to meet you.”

“Likewise, son,” he says, perusing the case full of tempting sugary treats. “You made these?”

He nods. “Can I get you anything?”

John hums. “A medium coffee, and…any one of these delicious-looking goodies. You pick. Just don’t tell my son,” he adds, and Derek looks up at him.

“Your son?”

“I have slightly elevated cholesterol,” he says, stressing the word. “Nothing to worry about, honestly. But he polices my diet. I don’t think he knows about this place yet, though, so this is great.”

Derek hums. His tongs hover over a muffin—lemon poppyseed, it looks like—before moving to another one. Raspberry-almond, according to the sign, and well, John isn’t picky. Derek drops it into a little bag and hands it over.

“Happy to help,” he says.

John thanks him and opens the bag. Laura’s still pouring his coffee, but it smells so damn good that he can’t resist.

“Wow,” he says, his mouth full. “This is delicious.”

Derek looks quietly proud, and Laura claps him on the shoulder as she reaches over to hand John his coffee. “On the house, today, Sheriff,” she says. “Thanks for stopping by.”

“I’ll be back tomorrow,” he promises.

“Thanks, Nina,” John says dryly, leaning back so she can put his plate in front of him.

“You’re welcome, Sheriff,” she says with a friendly smile, ignoring his stink eye.

Stiles just grins at both of them and digs into his French toast. He insists on having their weekly father-son breakfast at Paulie’s Diner because no matter what John orders, Nina will only bring him an egg-white omelet with a dry English muffin. Stiles must have some serious blackmail or be paying her off somehow, and John is, he has to admit, grudgingly impressed.

“Don’t look so bummed out, Pops,” Stiles says, around a mouthful of what’s surely syrup-drenched deliciousness. “At least I let you have turkey bacon.”

“It’s not the same,” he says grumpily, poking at it. “But at least I’m getting a steady stream of baked goods now.”

Stiles glares at him. “Are you serious? From where? I thought I had paid everyone off.”

He knew it. “I’m not telling you,” he says, a little displeased with how childish he sounds.

“Fine,” Stiles says, sniffing. “I’ll figure it out, you know I will.”

He will, John knows. Goddamn, he loves his kid, even if his life goal seems to be depriving John from any and all delicious food. “And speaking of, I met someone the other day,” he starts, and Stiles gasps theatrically, his hand coming up to cover his mouth.

“Is this you crapping all over my dream of having Melissa as my stepmom?”

John sighs at the reminder. Melissa is…well, she seems happy with that Argent guy. Whatever. He’s not bitter.

“Not for me, Jesus,” he says, shaking his head. “For you.”

“Oh my god,” Stiles says, slumping back in the booth. “Eye roll” is too mild, John thinks. It’s more of a whole head roll. “Seriously, Dad, I’m only 25. You don’t have to marry me off quite yet. You’ll get your grandchildren someday, I promise. Stop trying to set me up with people.”

“I’m just trying to be helpful!” John protests. “He seems nice.”

And makes really good treats, he adds in his head. That’ll be a good trait for a son-in-law.

“And who exactly is he?”

John pauses. “I met him at the aforementioned undisclosed location.”

Stiles snorts. “Find out if he actually likes dudes, then get back to me.”

“Okay,” he says seriously, and Stiles grimaces.

“No, Dad, don’t actually—”

Let’s Get Something Straight.

LET HUFFLEPUFFS HAVE A RESTING BITCH FACE. LET HUFFLEPUFFS BE FIREY AND PASSIONATE. LET HUFFLEPUFFS BE INCREDIBLY WITTY AND STUDIOUS. LET HUFFLEPUFFS GET INTO FIST FIGHTS.

LET HUFFLEPUFFS BE MORE THAN FICKLE, POLITE, PACIFIST, HAPPY-GO-LUCKY, BLITHE, AND APPROACHABLE. BEING A HUFFLEPUFF IS MORE THAN LOOKING INNOCENT AND SWEET.

I am a Hufflepuff with a horrible resting bitch face. I am a Hufflepuff who people see as unapproachable. I am a Hufflepuff with strong beliefs and passion.

The traits found in Hufflepuff are listed below:

  • Dedication
  • Hard Work
  • Fair play
  • Patience
  • Kindness
  • Tolerance
  • Unafraid of toil
  • Loyalty

Hufflepuffs are dedicated. They are dedicated to their studies, their friends, their families, their hobbies- Hufflepuffs show dedication to the things they love. They don’t dedicate themselves to be praised. it is a self sacrificing quality, much like the rest of the Hufflepuff House traits. Dedication goes hand-in-hand with hard work. It’s enduring when shit hits the fan, it’s getting out of bed when all you want to do is sleep, it’s not accepting handouts, it’s becoming successful through honest work. Hufflepuffs get the most out of working hard, not smart. This isn’t because they aren’t smart, it’s because they believe it benefits them more. Hardwork brings knowledge. They learn how to fight with integrity to get what they want. They most definitely aren’t ones to cheat. Given the choice between cheating and failure, they would choose failure.

Patience is a virtue. I don’t take this to mean that Hufflepuffs don’t mind waiting around if a friend is running late, it means that Hufflepuffs are more willing than most to put a cap on their temperament. Hufflepuffs don’t get bothered easy. Whether it’s from natural ability or a constantly running internal monologue keeping them from blowing a fuse, they manage to handle adversity with as much dignity and grace as they can muster. I think it’s hard to tell what a Hufflepuff is thinking because they keep their opinions to themselves unless asked to express it. Patience has nothing to do with passion. A Hufflepuff is a master at picking their battles. They know what’s worth losing their temper over.

Kindness: benevolent, intended for benefits rather than profit, loving, expressing goodwill. Who the fuck wants to be mean and rude all the time to everyone? Being kind does not mean being pushover. When did it become taboo to be kind? Why is being edgy all the sudden associated with being rude, pretentious, mean and cynical? Being kind is sincerely asking someone “how are you?” and being unafraid to receive an honest and drawn out response. Being kind is being a good listener, helping people for their benefit and not your own, it’s picking up trash in the movie theater so that the staff has less to clean. Being kind is leaving sweet, anonymous notes for people just to make their day a little bit better. Being kind is reveling in making someone smile or laugh. Being kind is smiling back when someone smiles at you. To be benevolent, to be nice, to be kind pushes away all self interest. It’s a selfless trait.

Tolerance is just nodding along with some gun slinging, homophobic, misogynistic jerk rambling about how Donald Trump will make America “great again”, even though you strongly disagree. Hufflepuffs, if you’ll notice, get along with virtually each house. They do not take it upon themselves to judge. Hufflepuffs are masters at accepting things that they cannot change; they cope well with diversity. If someone came up to a Hufflepuff and said that they were a supporter of pure-blood supremacy, the Hufflepuff would nod, say something (passive but sincere) along the lines of “that’s an interesting opinion,” then carry on with their day. Though they may not be at all happy about what was said, they do not take it upon themselves to get everyone to see the way that they see things. You can’t force people to listen. It’s not that Hufflepuffs don’t have opinions, they do, but, as the saying goes, “Opinions are like assholes, everybody has one.” They find that people respect your opinion and ask for it more when you present a judgement free environment for them.

This house is loyal. They’re a tolerant bunch, sure, but they will not tolerate bullies. It’s their sense of fraternity and loyalty that gives Hufflepuff something worth fighting for. It wouldn’t surprise me to see a Hufflepuff seventh year getting into a fist fight with a Ravenclaw seventh year because the Ravenclaw was making snarky remarks about a first year getting sorted into Hufflepuff. Hufflepuffs will argue, punch, kick, pull hair and scream if you somehow hurt someone they hold dear to them.  Don’t forget how fucking raw Badgers are. They’re one of the most fearless animals in the animal kingdom. This can maybe be seen as a flaw, however. In Goblet of Fire, the Hufflepuff House got so caught up in the competition between Cedric and Harry, good judgement was blurred by their unwavering loyalty. This brings me to believe that Hufflepuffs, if sufficiently provoked, can attack with the most underhanded and vicious insults ever. I don’t think it would be wise to bring a Hufflepuff to their breaking point in hopes of seeing this animosity. In most circumstances, however, loyalty is a virtue.

I am so sick of the stigma that Hufflepuffs are these soft little balls of dough that are just so lukewarm compared to the other houses. Need I remind y’all that Hufflepuffs fought at the Battle of Hogwarts without hesitation? They rose to the occasion, they weren’t indifferent about the situation at hand at all- they were selfless, they were fearless. They fought because they loved their school, their friends, their teachers, and because it was the right thing to do.

  • Kindness should not be mistaken for weakness.
  • Tolerance should not be mistaken for neutrality
  • Patience should not be mistaken for dispassion
  • Loyalty gives them reason to fight
  • Hardwork and dedication make them goal-oriented
  • Fair play does not mean there is a lack of initiative

A Hufflepuff is not a clone of the Pillsbury Dough Boy. Hufflepuffs can have strong opinions, be passionate, reckless, brave, and enterprising.

Because Helga Hufflepuff didn’t sort her students by a particular aptitude, Hufflepuff should be one of the most diverse houses in Hogwarts. So don’t generalize all Hufflepuffs to fit the “looks like a cinnamon roll and is a cinnamon roll” archetype. Hufflepuffs can be fierce as fuck.

i just realized in the new rick and morty episode at the end rick is saying 97 more years of adventures because in the speech he gave at the end of the pilot that came out three years ago he tells morty they’re gonna be having adventures for 100 years and that’s the kind of consistency i need in my life

It’s done!!! Sorry I didn’t post anything yesterday, my tablet and computer were both being stupid with the batteries dying but they’re working again. Yay!

THE BLUE SHIRT WAS CHOSEN (RIP 1999, 2017. Loved by many (no one on tumblr (besides me))(RIPx2). you got no votes you poor soul (shirt))

Anyway, this is a gift for @kiekyun because your art gives me so much life. I really love everything you draw, you really are a very wonderful artist and I hope to be as good as you some day! (I’m sorry about no background, I really suck at those) I don’t know if you’ll actually see this but if you do then please let me know what you think! :D

I ran into a post about how the fandom (myself included) tends to take Shiro a little too seriously as like. a paragon of rationality or the Responsible One when I mean, he was right in there with the laser gun noises with everyone else, so I’ve been committed to the idea of putting more levity into my Shiro meta.

First idea I had: imagine at some point Shiro’s arm gets seriously trashed and it needs to get detached so they can work on it properly, so Shiro is just going around the castle with a stump.

And he starts making arm jokes.

Lance is a groaner, and part of the reason why Lance is so good at catching puns is Hunk loves them so Hunk and Shiro rapidly just start volleying off each other at a terrifying rate.

At some point Allura steps in “Shiro, I think you’re killing Lance.”

“Oh, I don’t know about that, Princess. It’s all ‘armless fun.”

Cue Shiro laughing at his own joke while Allura is trying really, really hard to keep a straight face on because Shiro… that was awful.

The real downside (for me at least) to be extensively trained in analytical thinking (which is pretty much all a scientific education is) is that sometimes I can’t shut it off and it does at times make it hard to just like, enjoy things.

Like someone just wants to share a fun thing and my asshole brain is just like ‘here’s five reasons why that thing is probably not true/not as fun as you think it is’ and it’s like, calm the fuck down we don’t need that, just let people enjoy their shit geez.

For example I was genuinely taken out of an episode of a shitty police procedural I was watching the other day because they had a scientist say something about better controlling his evil ‘experiment’ and I was like ‘well that’s not actually a true control for you conditions and it should be obvious.’

Like shut up brain, no one cares. you’re watching shitty tv by yourself, stop.

“You’re just a teenager. You aren’t capable of love.” My mother said.

But what if I told you about the boy I met for the first time last year? How I’ve only met him once, but we talk everyday. How I get to indulge in conversation with him for endless amounts of time, and I could still never get tired of him. What if I told you, that his beautiful brown eyes and big dopey smile, were all I needed to see for the rest of my life? What if I told you, that all I want is to make him happy? For him to never stop smiling, because the world deserves to see such beauty. What if I told you, that he is my reason for being happy? What if I told you, that I could fill books with the feelings I have for him? Just from the way he looks at me, to the way he talks, to the way he throws a baseball. Would you still tell me then, that I am incapable of love?

A PSA: how to protect yourself from the WannaCry virus

You might have heard about it in the news: there is currently a global computer virus pandemic called WannaCry infecting Windows computers and encrypting all their contents so that they’re unusable. Most antivirus programs already have protections against it now, and the latest version of Windows has patched the exploit that it uses to spread, but just to be safe you should probably update Windows and disable the “Server Message Block” file-sharing protocol that it uses to spread.

Just search “Turn Windows features on or off” in the search bar and it should come up with a list of check boxes. Uncheck the box that says “SMB 1.0/CIFS File Sharing Support” and click OK. It should then ask you to restart your computer. Do that. Also, run Windows Update and make sure you’re upgraded to the latest version. Again, Microsoft has already patched the flaw, but you need to update to the latest version in order to fix it.

Do this for every Windows computer you own. This is a really, really nasty virus. Stay safe guys.

EDIT: I should probably stress that this should have no impact whatsoever on your computer’s functions. No one uses SMBv1 anymore, mostly because it’s extremely outdated and full of vulnerabilities like the one WannaCry exploits. Deactivating it just means there’s just one less vulnerability. SMBv2 and SMBv3 are pretty important, but there’s no reason why you shouldn’t just turn SMBv1 off and leave it that way forever.

UPDATE: A software engineer has figured out how to decrypt some computers affected by WannaCry. Luckily, the virus doesn’t scrub all the evidence of the encryption process, so in theory it’s possible for a program to put the encryption key back together from the evidence it leaves and unscramble the computer. You can find the decryption tool here, and a video on how to use it here (it starts with the command line already open; to open the command line just hit start and then search “cmd”). HOWEVER, it will only work if

1) the computer in question hasn’t been rebooted

and

2) some other process hasn’t overwritten the part of the memory that the virus used to generate the key

So if you or someone you know has been affected, DO NOT REBOOT THE COMPUTER, and DOWNLOAD AND RUN THE DECRYPTION PROGRAM AS SOON AS POSSIBLE. If the computer has been rebooted since its infection, the program will not work. If some other process has wiped out the evidence, the program will not work. It’s not a perfect fix, but it’s better than shelling out $300 worth of bitcoin to some malicious hacker group somewhere.

Humans are weird

So I just read a bunch of those Humans are weird posts, and I decided that our emotions and the way we react to them deserves some more credit.

We as a species can be pretty brutal and violent, with a near constant conflict at least somewhere in the world, which gave us a pretty bad reputation in the beginning.

But if there is one thing about humans that can overwhelm our more negative traits, it’s our compassion. We see someone suffering, and we can’t help but want to help.

So yeah, little kiddy aliens get warned to not make a human angry, for an angry human is a dangerous thing. But I’d like to think that they also get taught that if they ever need help really badly, go to a human.

Because for most of us, we don’t need a reason to help, we just do. Whether it’s money, supplies or just lending a helping hand, it’s the humans you can count on.

Also, I think it would be awesome if our violent traits are well-known, but our compassion is legendary.

How Kirishima May Be the Traitor (Traitor Theory)

I wrote a post a while back speculating Kirishima’s past. While doing so, I noticed that it’s possible for Kirishima to be the traitor. Some of this is rehashing what I said when I speculated Kirishima’s past. Although, everything I’ll talk about are reasons or support for why or how Kirishima may be the traitor.

I know this opinion is not going to be a popular one. Some people have dismissed the idea of Kirishima being the traitor, especially after Kirishima’s character development during the Internship Arc. However, after skimming through the manga and after reading the most recent chapters, I actually think Kirishima is the one who’s most likely to be the traitor. I’m not saying he is the traitor, but there are signs pointing to Kirishima possibly being the traitor.

Even if Kirishima is the traitor, he is still probably a good guy, and if he worked for the villains, he meant well. He has always had good values. The series has made that clear. Unfortunately, someone may have convinced him back when he was around middle school-aged that the villains are on the side of good and the heroes are harming society. I’ll explain more about it later as I show some evidence.

As I mentioned in a previous post, Kirishima really empathizes with a villain.

Kirishima feels like he understands what the villain is going through and is even willing to tell the villain his backstory AFTER that same villain shot his senpai and put Kirishima and other civilians in danger. A part of that has to do with Kirishima being a really nice guy and another part has to do with Kirishima understanding the need to become stronger. However, Kirishima’s empathy feels too strong for just that. I think he understands the villain because Kirishima was once part of the villains too.

First of all, Kirishima was different before entering U.A.

He makes an appearance in the chapter three according to Horikoshi.

Even though Kirishima is supposed to be in chapter three, if you go through chapter three, you won’t find anyone with Kirishima’s familiar spiky hair. Instead, you find a black-haired individual who has hair that looks like Kirishima’s hair when it’s down and a Quirk that’s very similar to Kirishima’s.

For some odd reason, it looks like Kirishima suddenly changes his appearance before entering U.A. This isn’t the only evidence of Kirishima being a different person from when he was in middle school. In middle school, he also bought the same keyholder as Tokoyami, hinting that in middle school, he had similar, darker interests to Tokoyami.

Kirishima may have changed from a darker appearance to the heroic persona we know now. It’s possible that if he was part of the villains before entering U.A., he had this dark appearance back in middle school and then changes himself to blend in with the U.A. hero students. He’d be less suspicious if he looks and acts more like a hero. It’d make being a spy for the villains easier. He may have based his appearance on Crimson Riot.

Kirishima also really makes strong attempts to befriend Bakugou even though Bakugou doesn’t have a heroic personality.

Kirishima wants to befriend Bakugou despite his more villainous personality, even back when other classmates don’t like Bakugou because of his mean personality. Kirishima is a friendly guy and likes Bakugou’s “manly” behavior, but Kirishima may also understand and relate to Bakugou’s personality. Kirishima may have been around villains and understands their personalities, so Kirishima understands Bakugou pretty well and even relates to him since he was a villain himself. Bakugou’s personality also may have made Bakugou a candidate to becoming a villain himself. Kirishima may have gotten close to Bakugou so that he can recruit Bakugou into the League of Villains. Kirishima may have recommended Bakugou to the villains, and this may be one of the reasons the villains captured Bakugou at training camp.

During the months Kirishima spends at U.A., he may start to realize heroes aren’t the bad guys and that he wants to be a hero himself. He even grows to care for his classmates. Even so, Kirishima would still be on the villains’ side until Bakugou gets captured.

When he hears the villains are after Bakugou, he’s devastated. His reaction to Bakugou’s capture is really important. Even though he may have wanted Bakugou to be part of the League of Villains, he may not have thought the villains would capture Bakugou by force. This would cause Kirishima to finally acknowledge the villains are not the good guys, and he feels immense guilt about Bakugou’s capture.

Kirishima feels so much guilt, that he wants to rescue Bakugou.

It’s kind of odd how Kirishima really blames himself for Bakugou getting capture even though he’s supposedly the least involved with the actual capture. He isn’t with Midoriya and Todoroki when Bakugou gets captured. This whole thing isn’t his responsibility, yet Kirishima feels REALLY guilty about Bakugou getting captured.

Kirishima may have told the villains the location of the training camp by using his cellphone as a tracking device.

He brings his cellphone to training camp. Once at camp, during the night time, he may have helped the villains raid the camp.

On the night the villains attack, he’s one of the few students not shown sleeping.

One of the boys’ beds is empty, hinting that a boy is out and possibly helping the villains.

Later, Kirishima is notably more tired than almost everyone if not more tired than everyone. (That may be because of the remedial lessons though.)

Keep in mind, Kirishima is one of the few students not shown to fighting villains during the training camp raid or getting hurt by them. He was trapped in the main lodge with the rest of the remedials.

It would have been difficult for him to help the villains because he can’t leave the lodge. In the panels above, he wants to leave to stop the villains from capturing Bakugou.

If Kirishima helps the villains invade the training camp, then it would probably be the last time Kirishima helps the villains. He may have officially turned on them when he decides to rescue Bakugou. He possibly even stole night vision goggles from the villains in order to do so.

Kirishima is evasive when it comes to the origin of those night vision goggles. They probably came from somewhere Kirishima isn’t proud of. He won’t even quickly tell Midoriya about where he got the night vision goggles from and seems pretty guilty after Bakugou gives him back money for it. Kirishima overall looks suspicious when it comes to the night vision goggles.

Now, who would have convinced a good guy like Kirishima to be part of the villains? It would be someone close to Kirishima. My guess is it’s a relative. It may possibly be the rock villain from the League of Villains.

And that villain looks similar to Kirishima during Red Riot Unbreakable.

Who is this villain who Kirishima may be close to? My guess is it’s someone who’s two years older than Kirishima, an older brother possibly.

Neijire says Togata got rough with someone and caused that person to quit being a hero. That person caused a lot of problems later. When Neijire says this, the manga shows Kirishima up close twice, hinting that the person who Togata got too rough with may be someone Kirishima knows. I’m guessing the kid who quit is a classmate or someone who’s around Togata’s age. That person may be the rock villain mentioned before. If that person became a villain because of Togata, then he possibly has a huge grudge against heroes and thinks they are harmful to society. If he’s close to Kirishima, he possibly helped turn Kirishima into a villain and encourage Kirishima to work with villains like him. If someone close to Kirishima was hurt by the heroes and tried convincing Kirishima to join the villains, Kirishima would be likely to join the villains to fight against the heroes who he thinks is harming society, especially if the person who was hurt by the heroes is his brother or some other close relative. Kirishima would have been in middle school if he joined the villains. That is such a young and impressionable age. He could have meant well and was trying to help make society a better place by joining the villains because those around him told him so. The villains possibly convinced him that the heroes were pushing the poor criminals down and holding society back. Kirishima, unlike Bakugou, is easy to inspire and vulnerable to misdirection. It would be easy for villains to convince him he’s doing the right thing.

It’s actually sad to think about. I can imagine a sweet and innocent middle school-aged Kirishima working for the villains because he thinks the villains are helping people and the heroes are the bad guys. Later, after being at U.A. for while, he discovers the heroes are actually the good guys and he wants to be a hero. He would have then realized, as the traitor, he put his classmates in danger multiple times and caused Bakugou to get captured. The guilt he would feel from that would be soul crushing.  Bakugou feels guilty about All Might losing his powers. Think about Kirishima would feel after all that.

This is my best attempt at making a traitor theory. It’s definitely possible that Kirishima isn’t the traitor. I don’t want him to be the traitor, but I don’t think it’s impossible like some people are making it seem.

Jeff Atkins deserved better

Jeff Atkins was the purest of the pure. He was the captain of the Claynah ship. He was the most genuine and kind(and “unique”) jock. He just wanted to get his grades up so he could play baseball again and he wanted to help Clay get the girl. He never got a memorial, everyone thought he was driving drunk and Clay hated him because he thought Jeff lied to him when he said he was sober. If Sheri just listened to Hannah and called 911, he would still be alive and helping Clay confess his feelings to Hannah and maybe Hannah would even be alive because all the happiness she needed, she would have found in Clay. and this may make me a horrible person but i wish it was Bryce who was in the accident and not Jeff.

so basically, JEFF ATKINS DESERVED SO MUCH FUCKING MORE!!!

I love that in the final five minutes of the show,  they managed to drop one more queer character in and had time to introduce her to her future lover with absolutely no reason that was necessary to the plot:

Dear show. Thank you for giving us extra historical gay, even when you didn’t need to, just because you knew it would make the  history nerds happy :)

Why you should NOT breed your pet reptile:

I know with the reptile breeding season starting, a lot of people get really interested in hatching out their own cute little baby reptiles! There are plenty of reasons to breed your reptiles, but I think a lot of prospective breeders don’t take the time to consider the possibilities for problems that arise from breeding. This is mainly for animals that have large pet populations - ball pythons, leopard geckos, bearded dragons, crested geckos, etc., but can apply to many other species as well. Here are a few reasons why you should reconsider breeding your pets.

1. Breeding takes a toll.
It’s important to be well versed on reptile body condition, general health, proper breeding weights, and ages before pairing up your reptiles. Pair them too early, and the potential for breeding related complications drastically increases. Egg binding, calcium crashes, death of the mother, failure to regain weight, poor calcification of the eggs, and hatchlings that fail to thrive can all be issues that pop up from breeding unhealthy or unfit animals. Are you prepared to deal with these issues, both emotionally and financially? Are your animals healthy enough to deal with the strain on their bodies?

2. Are your reptiles “breeder quality”?
A lot of people want to breed their reptiles to see the cute babies they produce! This is not necessarily a bad thing, but it’s important to keep in mind that if your animals aren’t prime examples of their morph (or if you don’t know the morph or genetic history of the animal) they shouldn’t be bred. One of the reasons is…

3. The market is flooded with “pet quality” and unhealthy animals looking for homes.
Do you really want to contribute to overproduced populations of animals seeking homes? If you aren’t able to sell your animals you have to be prepared to house however many you produce for the entirety of their lives. Is it ethical for you to be breeding pet quality animals?

4. Breeding is inherently expensive and you are unlikely to make a profit, even if you’re breeding top quality animals.
You’ve got to buy incubators, thermostats, hatchling racks, breeder quality animals, feeders for those animals, cleaning supplies, husbandry supplies, etc! That’s just scratching the surface of the things you need before you begin breeding!

5. Always keep in mind the reason you want to breed your reptiles. If your reason is “because I want to” with no real goal in mind, you probably aren’t ready to breed them.

((this post isn’t directed at anyone in particular, it’s just something I see happen every year when the breeding season begins!))
