i just loved this part of the movie

need to rant plz don't mind me I'm not looking for discussion just ranting

I swear this series will never stop haunting and destroying me….

So the last mother fucking episode of Na***o (I censor it for my own sake) is Hin**a’s wedding…again…why..did she not get an entire MOVIE for her and her selfish love??? Now the last episode is dedicated to her god for saken wedding…
That’s not even the worst part… I did this mistake of scrolling the tag and immediately starting crying

Sakura.. the fictional character who got me through some of my hardest school days. She inspired me so much and it kills me to this day seeing what’s become of her and this series I once loved.

Every single time I think she can’t be hurt anymore, that there’s nothing more they can do to destroy her..
I’m proven wrong every time! They show her watching all the happy couples while she is completely alone…& the only “comfort” she gets is a letter from Sasuke with the word congratulations on it..meant for N & H….. that’s what she blushes and smiles at…that’s the final scene she receives in this series.
How can anyone human being who watched/read this series from the beginning be truly ok with this scene and just overall ending… it’s pure evil and beyond cruel… Sakura the main heroine in the series, who has overcome so much and basically been sad since the beginning…she didn’t get to have a happy ending (call it what u will guys that’s no happy ending and that’s coming from someone who loved Sasuskau at a time) it’s miserable and it hurts me.

To think Hin**a the side character who really never had much to offer to the series besides holding an immense love/obsession for Nar**o got an amazingly happy ending meanwhile Sakura the actual heroine whose character actually impacted the series in many fucking ways is left with the worst ending I’ve ever seen. I wouldn’t wish this ending on any character.
and we all know it doesn’t get better because she then has a child and is left to raise it alone while everyone else is a couple raising there children..it’s just like the creators truly despise Sakura and want to make her suffer in any way possible..& I know it’s just goddamn fiction and I’m insane for caring so much but it really does hurt me deeply. I loved this character so much she really was and sadly still is important to me so whenever I see how miserably she is treated and continues to be..it just hurts…

it hurts a lot and I wish I can wake up one day and not give a fuck…

okay end of rant..

How was BatB?

It was good. Certainly visually stunning, that’s for sure. I was surprised how well they pulled off the visuals.

Best part of the movie? Luke Evans. I don’t think that can even be debated. He shocked me with how good he was in this. He’s a much better singer than I thought he would be, and he was so funny yet menacing at the same time.

Emma was fine. She was still miscast, but fine. Her singing wasn’t great, but she sold her scenes well enough.

Of course I loved the musical numbers. Either Belle or Gaston was probably my favorite when it comes to the performances. They were just great.

I also liked how they explained away some of the common issues with the original, like why everyone forgets about the prince. All the added stuff was quite good, like everything with Maurice. Kevin Kline was great in the movie as well.

Overall, solid remake.

Rules: List 5 fandom facts about yourself and then tag 5 people.

@ta-dala and @celinamarniss tagged me.

1. X-Files was my first online fandom, and I rode that MSR train hard. I wrote fanfic and ran a shipper website for a few years that some people might even vaguely remember.

2. Star Wars seems to be the fandom I come back to again and again, probably because the universe keeps expanding! I didn’t get into the fandom part of it, though, until the Expanded Universe books, and even with that, it was years after I initially read them that I went online and found TheForce.net, fanfiction.com, etc. I had gone in looking for more on Han and Leia and came out in love with Mara Jade and Mara x Luke. Now Rogue One has completely destroyed both my brain and my non-fandom productivity, and I went into that movie kinda like, “Yeah, I hope this just doesn’t suck.” (Narrator: It did not suck.)

3. I’ve had a lot of fandoms, but these are the ones I’ve written fanfic for so far: Star Wars (EU and Rogue One), Harry Potter, That 70s Show, Bones, Wire in the Blood, Downton Abbey, Parks and Recreation, Battlestar Galactica, and Veronica Mars

4. I made real life friends with my earliest fandom friends from X-Files. I went to one friend’s wedding. I met and stayed with another of those friends when I went to Greece where they lived.

5. My rarest pair ship is probably Louise Belcher and Logan Bush from Bob’s Burgers, but like, when they’re older and meet up again because on the show they are children. Basically I read one really good fanfic for it and was totally sold on it.

The best parts of Grease (1978)
  • The fact that every single actor is clearly 20 years older than their character
  • The opening is animated for almost no reason
  • The one boy sitting in the girls’ section during “Summer Nights” just… daydreaming… staring off into space. I don’t think he even knows there’s a musical number going on
  • Patty calls herself a clod
  • If you pause the end of “Summer Nights” in the right place Sandy’s face is right in the middle of a pole
  • Sandy pukes when she sees blood??? what does she do during her period??
  • Danny’s face creepily showing up in the pool during “Hopelessly Devoted to You”
  • The people who work in the car shop just kinda staring awkwardly at the Greasers during “Greased Lightning” like they have no idea wtf they’re doing
  • The entirety of “Beauty School Dropout”
  • One of the boys spikes the punch and when questioned says he was washing his hands in it
  • THE FRIGGIN FBI WAS CALLED IN TO FIND OUT WHO WAS MOONING THE CAMERA LIKE HOW MUCH FREETIME DID THEY THINK THE FBI HAD IN THE 50s?
  • Rizzo trusts Marty to keep a secret like you’ve known this woman since Kindergarten did you seriously think she’d keep her mouth shut
  • siN WAGON
  • Danny sings about how Sandy rejected him as if she didn’t have valid reason
  • The car race that comes almost out of nowhere but at least it’s better than the musical which had literally no payoff for Greased Lightning at all
  • Sandy decides to become a Greaser kinda just because
  • Rizzo and Kenickie screwed around at the beginning of the school year but she didn’t realize she wasn’t pregnant until the last day like did she just assume baby bumps weren’t a thing?? Did she think gestation was nine years instead of nine months???? How the hell did this timeline work?? Did they have any sex ed in the 50s?
  • i got chILLS
  • THEY’RE MULTIPLYING
  • AND I’M LOOOOOOOSING CONTROL
  • They only start to wonder wtf they’re doing after graduation at the fair celebrating graduation
  • If you listen at the end of “We Go Together” you can hear the Chipmunks singing
  • THE FUCKING FLYING CAR WAS THAT EVER EXPLAINED
  • The fact that High School Musical was originally going to be a second-generation sequel to this

my fave parts in beauty and the beast:

  • gaston dragging agathe in front of the whole town and then just going like ‘no offense agathe’
  • when lefou asked gaston whether he seriously wanted to be part of belle’s family
  • “is that fair?” - “i don’t care”
  • when gaston told belle that she just had to find the right man and she was all like ‘it’s a small village i’ve met everyone’ like what kind of savage
  • “BE FREE!” iconic
  • lefou spelling gaston’s name
  • beast dragging belle for her taste in shakespeare
  • belle holding back tears when she’s in the library for the first time honestly same
  • lefou’s smile upon realizing that maurice was still alive
  • “there’s a beast running wild, there’s no question, but i fear the wrong monster’s released”
  • maestro cadenza going “ouch” when gaston ditches lefou
  • when chip apologized to maurice for moving and maurice was just like ‘it’s alright’ and then he fucking bolted
  • luke evans singing
  • EVERMORE
  • “too much?” - “…yep”
  • belle teaching that little girl how to read
  • “i didn’t think she would say yes!”
  • when everyone was changed back
the reason why you should watch/read Doukyuusei

i know i someone has probably done this already but i just want to truly display why I love “Doukyuusei” so much.

the movie and manga’s visual art is stunning, with a simplistic art-style and light lines with lighter colors. the gorgeous aesthetic is simply too attractive to pass.

the voice acting is simply breath-taking, the well known Hiroshi Kamiya (Levi of snk, Yato of noragami, and Choromatsu of osomatsu) plays Kusakabe Hikaru.

whereas, Kenji Norima (Chiba Mamoru of sailor moon crystal, Taihei Doma of himouto! umaru chan, and Natsuya Kirishima of free! starting days) plays Rihito Sajou

they play the parts of nervous and shy teenagers in high school beautifully, with all of the normal “hiccups and stutters” of a teenager confessing to a loved one.

however, the most important part of this movie is the message.

the movie’s portrayal of youth finding their sexuality is just so accurate to the real thing, something you do not often find in the shounen-ai community.

the “but we’re boys” comment is mentioned, but is not a revolving issue of the relationship between our two protagonists Kusakabe and Sajou. it is mentioned but quickly dismissed as they realize their feelings for one another.

the two boys suffer the same hardships that any person going through a relationship will suffer such as school and college, and not only that they move at a normal pace of a healthy relationship.

in contrast to the trope in bl stuff today, the couple does not have intimate interactions until they have been going out for a year and this is just deep kissing. this is realistic for a high-school couple of japan, thus displaying how NORMAL a same-sex relationship really is as many depictions of shounen-ai couples have had the couple have bedded one another within days of their “get-together.”

the movie not only depicts a warm and loving romance between two young-men and their innocent love for one another, it also pushes for the acceptance of same-sex couples, showing that they are not any different than the social norm.

same-sex couples have blushing confessions. same-sex couples have arguments. same-sex couples have confusion and thought.

just… this story and series is gorgeous and stunning and something i would absolutely recommend to anyone.

Pages from my Moleskine 2017 Bullet Journal: Finally got around to starting my bullet journal for the upcoming year and I have to say, this is probably by far my most favorite starting page that I’ve ever made. I’m still getting the hang of using brush pens but I’m extremely satisfied with how it looks in here.

For those trying to figure out how they want their journal to look or just want some inspo: here’s a few designing tips for you guys

  • Have a color scheme: For the most part I’m probably gonna stay along the lines of blue and rose gold (love me some rose gold always) but you can always go to websites and search for pretty color schemes to use
  • Tumblr is one of the hugest databases and has so many beautiful inspirational quotes and pictures. Take advantage of them!! Print them out, stick some tape, and smack it into your journal.
  • Put some memories in there: receipts, movie tickets, polaroids, little notes from friends, anything that will make you smile.
  • Washi tape. Enough said.

Finally, I’m probably going to start a bullet journal series for this upcoming year so that you guys can see how I set up my journal and what layout it has. I’ll be tagging them with #myplanner. I hope you enjoy!!

Ya know what’s sad?

That we were the generation that was fortunate enough to grow up with AMAZING shows with AMAZING characters that we could look up to.

 Okay, a tiny bit.

But we were provided with well thought-out scripts, with excellent stories that had great casting from kids that loved to act and were passionate about what they did.

Also, they didn’t just play their part, they became that character that still lives on in our hearts to this day from our childhood, and I’m thankful for that.

I want kids to grow up with shows and movies that can inspire them to create-to want to become those characters when they’re outside playing with their friends or writing a story that can come from that world.

For the kids to inspired and to be grateful for the hard work those people did to create a show that helped them get through school, or a hard time in their life.

Because maybe one day, one of those kids will make a story, and it will be because of those characters that they grew up with, that contributed to creating a new story to tell to a new generation of kids, yearning to hear, look and listen to what the world has to provide to them.

That’s just how amazing these shows can be.

For those who were asking. Lefou wasn’t treated as a joke through the movie. He was a good guy. He was quite clever, I think he had a crush on Gaston (had is a key word), who terrorised him constantly. throughout the end of the film, he says something along the lines of “I’m not on Gaston’s side.”
Also there was a part where one of the furnitures say “you were too good for him anyway”, If I remember it correctly. Although it was only briefly shown, he does get a male love interest, and it’s NOT Gaston. It’s not perfect representation, yes, I just think it’s nice that Disney actually showed us an uncensored gay couple (especially with one of them not being Conventionally Attractive © ) in a movie meant for children.

For me, acting is the primary thing. When I work on a part, one of the things I love to do is to put together a collage of things, stuff I see or stuff that inspires me, images, whatever. I try to look at it from that standpoint. Sometimes, being involved with fashion, it can give ideas to different things. It’s like a movie in itself. It’s just a different way to think about it.

Rosie, you deserve someone who loves you with every beat of his heart. Someone who will always be there for you, and who will love every part of you, especially your flaws. I know Katie needs her dad. I don’t want to intrude. So if this is all wrong, just ignore it and I promise. I’ll never broach the subject again. Greg’s not the man for you, Rosie. Twice I’ve let you slip through my fingers. Let’s stop being afraid and take the chance. I know now I can make you happy. Call me if you feel the same way.

                                                                                                 Love, Alex.

Anyone who has seen New Hope should remember the line about the fact that many people died to get those Death Star plans so that eventually Luke could to blow it up. So I expected to lose at least part of the Rogue One crew. But the movie did such a good job of giving each one of them their own time (obviously some had more than others… Jyn was the lead and integral to it all and Cassian was next) within the movie to shine and for you to love them. And because of that, it really hit me hard when each one of them eventually fell. They didn’t all just get their own moments to shine. Each one got their own death scene and got to face it head on knowing it was their choice and that what they were doing was worth it. It was sad, but it was powerful and moving too. I really did expect at least Jyn to make it out. But they went out heroes. Without them, the Rebellion would have died. They gave it the New Hope. May the Force be with them.

Les Amis and co. have regular movie nights where they watch musicals and sing along.

  • Sometimes they just all sing every line and sometimes they each take a character and sing their parts respectively.
  • Dancing
  • Group cuddling
  • Laughing and playful teasing

Rocky Horror Picture Show, Rent, Kinky Boots, Grease, Starkid plays, The Sound of Music, The Lion King, Frozen, Mulan, Beauty and the Beast, any Disney movie really, etc.

Some things in no particular order:

  • Enjolras singing I Just Can’t Wait To Be King never fails to amuse everyone. Grantaire sings Zazu’s part and Eponine is Nala.
  • They all sing Seasons of Love together and it is beautiful.
  • Grantaire does an amazing performance of Sweet Transvestite. When he gets to the part about a man with blond hair he winks at and/or drapes himself seductively over Enjolras.
  • Marius and Cosette singing A Whole New World is so sweet it’ll give you a toothache just listening to them.
  • Can You Feel the Love Tonight starring Courfeyrac and Combeferre as Timon and Pumba, and Enjolras and Grantaire as Simba and Nala.
  • Jehan and Montparnasse perform Different as Can Be (Parnasse as Voldemort and Jehan as Quirrell) while standing back to back and holding hands.
  • La Vie Boheme is always a fun one.
  • Grantaire singing The Sword of Damocles
  • Feuilly singing Be Our Guest
  • Eponine as Belle during Belle and Something There
  • The first time quiet little Jehan sang Be Prepared (with Joly, Bossuet, and Musichetta as the hyenas) they shocked everyone.
  • Any couple singing You’re The One That I Want
  • The whole group singing We Go Together
  • Bahorel singing Hot Patootie (Bless My Soul)
  • Marius and Cosette singing Dammit Janet
  • Enjolras as Shang during I’ll Make a Man Out of You + Eponine as Mulan
  • Everyone dancing to The Time Warp
  • Everyone singing My Favorite Things and Do-Re-Mi
  • Bahorel singing Greased Lightening as Danny with Feuilly, Courfeyrac, Combeferre, and Bossuet as the T-Birds.
  • The Triumvirate singing Hakuna Matata (Courf and Ferre as Timon & Pumba and Enj as Simba)

Just:

What about an AU where Kent and Jack stayed functional exes and best friends after the draft (maybe Jack was able to use actual language to say “I’m not in love with you, though I value you”???) but Kent is still supportive of his bro and he and Jack sometimes get up to hijinks with Shitty and Lardo and eventually Bitty

so Kent just drops by the Haus whenever he’s got a game nearby in Boston or Providence, and Bitty learns early on that if you wanna look cool in the SMH, you just gotta treat the NHL star like he’s part of the furniture.

Which sometimes includes sitting on him when he’s stretched out across the green couch and they wanna watch a movie.

The Only Exception (Part 1)

Summary: AU. Reader is given the task of running a popular love advice internet show when her coworker is fired. Her cynical attitude toward love makes her offer some harsh advice, and more than a few hearts are caught in the aftermath. Will hers be one of them?

Pairing: Bucky Barnes x reader

Word Count: 3,442

Warnings: language, fluff, wishful thinking, hot firemen, sarcasm, cynicism, bad jokes

A/N: Okay, so I saw a movie a long long time ago that was terrible, but it inspired the ‘bad’’ love advice and the firemen. I’ve been dying to have fireman!Bucky in one of my AUs.

And yes, the title comes from the Paramore song. I felt like it’s how reader feels throughout. Hope you guys like it. I had some writer’s block, and some house guests, so this is a little late being posted.

“What was the hardest part of your first heartbreak?” my little sister asked me one day. It was a sunny day, we were having a picnic. But suddenly, I felt as if the clouds had overtaken the sun.

“I think the hardest part was that we kind of morphed into the same person,” I said.

“What do you mean?” she asked.

“When you spend so much time together, you get so close. Soon enough, you can read each other’s minds, you can tell what they’re thinking just by a raise of their eyebrow.” I picked away at the grass we were sitting on, trying not to feel the depth of what I was saying. I couldn’t let myself get that low again. “Your favorite song becomes his favorite song. Then, his favorite bands become your favorite bands. You start loving the same movies. You pick up hiking together. And then when you break up, you still love all those things. It’s all still there.”

“But they’re not,” she said, almost in a whisper.

“But they’re not,” I repeated. “And it’s like you become a half of a person, left on your own to grow the other half back.”

yknow those parts in teen coming of age/feel good movies where a friend sneaks into another friends room and decorates the room with glow stars or clouds or something bc it means some deep stuff to them or when they’re in the bath together in clothes laughing talking or just sitting in the sand at the beach at night looking at the reflection of the moon in the ocean ?? i love those moments they’re so gentle and full of love i want my life to be like that
