i just love this show and this cast so much

okay so I just feel the need to say why Brooklyn nine nine is the best show so strap yourselves in it’s gon be long

* first off, hella diverse cast
* and no “token” characters there just for the sake of diversity, each character has very different personalities from each other and represent the actual population
* despite totally different personalities they are all really good friends and care about each other so much- each character’s relationship is different and I find that beautiful
* wE HAVE A BLACK GAY MAN IN THE HIGHEST POSITION OF POWER IN THE PRECINCT?? that’s so cool
* amy santiago is never played off as “just Jake’s love interest/girlfriend” she has all her own plots and stories and is amazing and strong and the best
* healthy communication in amy and jakes relationship !!! making sure it doesn’t stop them from doing their job to the best of both their abilities !!!
* Terry is a very macho “man’s” man but isn’t afraid to show his feelings and it’s real nice to see them show how being emotional doesn’t make you a weak man
* the solidarity between the girls because we gotta stick together
* “I met god” “what does she look like?” “Ethnically ambiguous”
* constantly calling out the world for all it’s shit (homophobia, racism, gun laws, corruptness of the police, sexism, I cOULD GO ON)
* and now the reason I decided to make this now: THEY JUST MADE A WHOLE EPISODE ABOUT HOW BULLSHIT RACIAL PROFILING IS
* a show about cops still managed to find a way to talk about it bc they know it’s an important issue and did it in such an incredible way
* showed two sides of dealing with the situation, holts plan and terrys, and neither were ideal, both would have backlash for Terry more than the dickhead who stopped him tbh
* and showing Jake doing hella suspicious shit and not getting stopped
* oNCE AGAIN CALLING OUT THE WORLD FOR ITS SHIT
* (but this time with a whole ep not just mentions bless)
* also Jake and amy having to explain it all to Terry’s kids was v upsetting to see how scared they were at first that this would happen just because they were born as they were
* AND mentions of transphobia and telling the twins it’s okay if they don’t identify as female, what other show would

this ain’t even everything it was just getting v long

BASICALLY no show is as woke as brooklyn nine nine, it’s hella funny too with great plots and ships too if that’s what you look for and everyone should watch and @ fox if you don’t renew I will fight it is better than all other shows

When you’re so obsessed with something like a book or TV show and you love and ship the characters and you love the cast and you know so much about them. Then that feeling when you realise you’re slipping away from the fandom, when you loose interest even though you don’t want to, that feeling after a few months or years looking back in the fandom and missing it because the cast/characters were like your friends and the fandom was amazing and everything about it was great and just wow, you miss it so much.

Hyper Projection Engeki Haikyuu - Winners and Losers

Several former cast mates went to go see the press viewing on opening day!  Visitors included Arai Shou (Aone), Kimura Atsushi (Futakuchi), Hirono Ryouta (Sakunami), Hashimoto Zen’itsu (Kamasaki), and Gotou Takeru (Yaku)!

All of them were impressed by the new show and wish the current cast the best of luck!

SHUT THE HELL UP

ISHII MIKAKO IS THE SWEETEST, CUTEST PERSON EVER

So, for some context, this is the very last performance of Petite Etrangere. As people who have experience in theatre can attest, the last showing is usually pretty emotional because the cast is sad that their experience is over. Sailor Pluto’s actress, Mikako Ishii, was given the opportunity to speak about her feelings during the curtain call and gave this amazing speech.

First of all, she said “They let me play Sailor Pluto,” not “I’m playing Sailor Pluto.” It’s obvious that she sees her role as a great honor and is very grateful for it. I also love how, because Sailor Moon is now over 20 years old, there are actually people who loved Sailor Moon in their childhoods now being given the opportunity to be a part of it.

Mikako is literally crying throughout her entire speech (both with joy and sorrow), which shows just how much she and the rest of the cast love and care about Sailor Moon, and every person who came to watch them shared that love with them. It’s no wonder that they can feel the love all around them! And then OMG CHIBIUSA AND PLUTO. Even out of character, they still show so much love for each other.

I just love everything about this so much. Sailor Moon will always live on!

For people who want more genre anime with LGBT+ characters like Yuri!!! On Ice

Samurai Flamenco. Please.

It’s got an adorably dorky, enthusiastic, and justice-loving main character named Masayoshi Hazama. He’s a gorgeous model, but he dreams of being a superhero. And he does it! Kinda.

He meets cynical cop Hidenori Gotoh, who chastises him for being a vigilante, but the two grow closer and closer. (And closer, and closer…)

There’s also an important side character, Mari Maya, who is an idol. She is bisexual, and is in a relationship with Moe Morita, who is a lesbian. (There’s a third member of their group, Mizuki Misawa, who I believe to be coded asexual, though anybody can headcanon otherwise.)

(this happens multiple times!!!!)

The show is incredibly silly in nature (up until a certain point), and both pays homage to and parodies the conventions of the superhero genre. From the western vigilante, to the Japanese sentai, it’s got it all. (Even magical girls!)

However, it also deals with toxic relationships, conflicting ideas of justice, and mental illness. It takes all of these ideas very seriously, and treats all of its characters with respect.

So anyways, if you love Yuri!!! On Ice, and want to watch more genre anime with respectfully treated LGBT+ characters and canon relationships, I HIGHLY recommend Samurai Flamenco. It’s a wild ride, but Samurai Flamenco is an incredible show that deals with justice, morality, relationships, mental illness, and love, and puts all of these issues in the limelight. The romance between Masayoshi and Gotoh isn’t even the main focus of the plot, but is still developed incredibly naturally as they become closer and closer.

So go watch Samurai Flamenco!

EDIT: It has been brought to my attention that some people are indignant about me using the phrase “coded asexual”. One person explained to me that this is because it seems like I am trying to erase a character’s sexuality, and that they cannot ONLY be asexual. So let me explain. I have watched Samurai Flamenco 5 times, each time with an even more analytical mindset. (Because I just love it so much). The character in question here is Mizuki Misawa, and yes, I believe she is coded to be asexual. There is a very large cast of characters, and almost all of them are shown at some point or another seeking romance and sex. This heavily includes the other two members of the idol group, Mari Maya and Moe Morita. However, Samurai Flamenco deliberately shows Mizuki refusing and showing no interest in those same pursuits. The show purposefully showed her as uncomfortable in sexual situations, and she frequently refuses the poly advances Mari and Moe make. Since this is very deliberate, I am still firmly behind my phrasing, because she is implied to have no interest in sex and no sexual attraction. So, because I’ve watched SamFlam so many times, each time has only cemented that feeling in me. Any other part of her identity is up to headcanon, as that is the only aspect really shown about her.
HARLOTS & why y’all should please give it a go

Y’all, I am LOVIN this show so far. I’ve just binged what’s on Hulu at this point (episodes 1 – 3) and OHHH, it’s got so much fun and so many feels!!! If you like female-driven narratives, the 18th century, delightful costumes, a great cast (many of whom you might recognize from other shows), and opulent splendor mixed in with gritty squalor, you might just find that you love it, too. Let me share with you but a few of the delights it has in store:

First and foremost, it’s about, and from the perspective of, women.

Almost the entire main cast is female, and the entire show is just about WOMEN – of all ages and stripes – and their struggle to find/maintain/balance their independence, security, and happiness. And yes, the main conflict involves women pitted against one other, but there’s also so much of women SUPPORTING one another and CARING about one another and LAUGHING and MOURNING and just being HUMANS. Eating, drinking, dancing, sweating, farting, hugging, crying, bitching, whining, hurting, comforting, teasing, yearning, complicated humans.

It’s also created, written, and directed by women, and I do think that’s informed how it handles the characters & narrative. Not gonna lie; when I first heard about this show, all I could think of was how gross this premise could be in the wrong hands (male or female). I worried that it would be trashy and exploitative and superficial. But it’s not. Even sensitive material – implied/mentioned sexual assault – is handled deftly and compassionately, focusing always on the victim’s trauma/well-being rather than on any “shock value” attached to the (off-screen) act itself. The sex workers may be objectified and demonized by some other characters, but they are never treated that way by the narrative itself.

And the harlots are all so interesting! Even the background ones have distinct personalities (and a surprising amount of sexual tension with the local moralizer’s daughter). The Wells ladies – mama and daughters, pictured above – are my particular faves.

Other favorite characters include Will North, gentle brothel dad and the only good man in London…

Nancy Birch, who dresses like a highwayman, wields a sick-ass whip, and pushes me a little closer to 6 on the Kinsey scale every time I see her jawline…

And Thomas Haxby, The Saltiest Man On Earth.

“I don’t think you’re a dog at all, Mr. Haxby,” one character summarizes aptly: I think you’re a bitch.”

He’s such a scheming little viper and I LOVE IT.

Naturally, given the subject matter, there’s a good amount of female nudity. But if your tastes run to more masculine delights, don’t worry – the boys know how to put on a show, too!

Even the title sequence has wormed its way into my heart, by virtue of appealing to my appreciation for three of life’s greatest gifts: bold typography, old-timey engravings, and butts.

Not to mention that – as you can probably tell from these caps – Harlots avoids the overly dark and muted palette that too many period dramas feel is necessary in order to telegraph to the audience that we are looking back through The Sepia Mists of Time. Costumes and sets alike are colorful and fun. Garish, sometimes, in that late-18th-century way – but if, like me, you have a certain fondness for men wearing powder and rouge, that’s not a bad thing at all!

So if a grimy-yet-gorgeous show about ladies trying to carve out their fair share in life sounds like your cup of tea, give it a try. I’m excited to see where the rest of the season leads.

Warnings: Language I guess

Plot: In an interview the cast of Riverdale is asked what feature of their co-stars is the best.

You were part of the adorable Riverdale cast and you were so happy for that. Everybody loved you and you loved them. Even if you had a crush on KJ, that nobody knew of, except maybe Camila and Lili, you were really good friends and you teased and made each other laugh all the time.

You were about to do an interview about the show and you were putting make-up on. Not much though just the basic. You did take care of your lips though making them pop out and look even more big than they already are.

Everybody was interviewed in pairs, so most of the cast was done except you and Madeleine.

“So ladiess….” said the interviewer. “We are going to play a game. You are going to tell me what is the best feature of each cast member. Let’s start with KJ.”

“Body.” you said maybe too quickly. “Wow! That was fast. It’s not like he doesn’t have other amazing features, like his voice, his laugh, or his adorable personality. It’s just that his body…. I mean come one….You have seen him shirtless!”

Everybody laughed and so did you trying to hide your embarrassment. Why the fuck did I say his body? And why the fuck did I continue talking?

“I have to agree with (Y/N)” said Madeleine.

“What about Cole?”

“Humor” you both said in unison

“Lili.”

“Her dorkiness.”  said Madeleine.

“Her daddyness.” you said.

“Hahaha ehmm…Camila.”

“Oh her dance moves.” you said.

“Her eyebrows.”

“(Y/N)”

“HAIR” said Madeleine.

“Oh thank you!!! Do I answer that too? Or is it too narcissistic?”

“You do.”

“Hmmm I have to say lips. I love my lips.”

“So does KJ it seems.”

“Wait… What?” you asked confused.

“When I asked him about your best feature he said immediatly your lips.”

“Of cource he did.” said Madeleine. “He is kind of a pervert.”

“Okay…” you said and laughed awkwardly. “I told you I do have some great lips.”

“So… Madeleine.”

“HER HAIRRRR. I MEAN LOOK AT THEM THEY ARE PERFECTION”

When you got home you immediatly opened your laptop and watched KJ’s and Cole’s interview.

“Let’s start with (Y/N)”

“Her lips.” said KJ.

“Whoahhh whoahhh dudee!” said Cole with a smirk.

“Is there something you wanna tell us KJ?” said the interviwer raising an eyebrow.

“No no nooo.” said KJ blushing “I mean she has really nice lips. Well  she also has an aodrable laugh, mesmerising smile, great humor and she is gorgeous and-”

“I am gonna stop him before he says she has a great butt. Her laugh is the best one though. I mean you laugh with her laugh and she doesn’t even mind she just keeps laughing.”

“Yeah ehmm definately her lips. I know it sounds weird.”

“Bro you make it sound weird.”

You were laughing and you were shocked. The thought that he might like you back crossed your mind but your thoughts were interupted by the doorbell so you got up to open the door.

“ Keneti James Fitzgerald Apa what are you doing here?” you teased with a “mesmerising” smile.

“So my body, huh? I should have seen it coming. I mean every time I take of my shirt you are like “Well hellooo there”. Plus you are always biting your lips when I am shirtless.” he said with a smile.

You didn’t have time to be embarrassed or blush. You just teased him back.

“You mean my nice lips that can turn into a mesmerising smile? And an adorable laugh?”

“Yeah do you mind me tasting them?” he said coming closer.

“I don’t see why I might mind.” So he did taste them.

“Definately your best feature.”

NOW YOU NEED TO TELL US EVERYTHING ABOUT THE MUSICALL

Oh my gosh it was amazing?? Like I loved it soooooOO much. I’m trying to refrain from screaming but !!! The acting was great, the cast was so talented, and it was overall an amazing show. I’m just gonna list some things I LOVED

-Chris’s first line was “look I didn’t want to be a half blood” (my friend and I were screaming when he came on stage)

-Good kid live sounded so great. He climbed the set and scaffolding and I almost cried. I probably will cry.

-Mr. D was hilarious! George Salazar is such a talented actor

“Tartarus” “-Like the fish sauce?!”

My favorite easter egg was in one song when they were going through some of the quest moments their clue to leave the lotus casino was when a girl with a floppy hat and a braid came out and said “my brother and I just arrived here yesterday, may 1st…1939!”

Carrie Compere’s voice is so beautiful. She killed it. Sally, Silena, Charon, she was amazing.

-Sally in general! She kissed Percy’s forehead, sprayed febreeze whereever Gabe went, and was so caring and sweet

-Annabeth’s solo song was amazing and really in character! Grover’s was about Thalia and how he could have saved her (again, tears)

-The little percabeth moments sprinkled in! “You drool in your sleep”, “seaweed brain” “wise girl” they held hands for a couple seconds, and idk if it was just me but at one point they looked close enough to kiss

-we can’t have a scorpion on stage?? Why don’t we just fuckin stab Percy in the back

-CHIRON WAS JUST A GUY WITH A FRINGE TAIL WHO GALLOPPED EVERYWHERE IT WAS THE FUNNIEST THING

-Like everyone except Chris McCarrel and Kristin Stokes played multiple rolls and they were all so great at what they did

-At the end of the show I (and a bunch of others) got to meet some of the cast members! They signed things, took photos, and were so so nice (my current lockscreen is my photos with chris mccarrel, george salazar, and kristin stokes lmao)

I could say so much more but it’s like almost 1am and I’m delirious.

TLDR: The Lightning Thief was an incredibly amazing play with great talented actors and it was definitely worth it! I loved it so so much

HONESTLY I LOVE THIS CAST SO MUCH.I LOVE HOW THEY APPRECIATE WHAT WE DO AND THEY PRAISE US FOR IT FOR BEING SO DEDICATED AND I JUST LOVE THEM FOR ACTUALLY SHOWING US HOW MUCH THEY CARE ABOUT US AND THIS SHOW. THIS HONESTLY MADE ME SO HAPPY 😌😌

Do you ever think about Zoe Murphy and just start bawling

Requiem is obviously heartrending–she’s clearly deeply, deeply resentful of Connor, not only for terrorizing her, for hurting her, but also I really think for creating sort of a black hole in her family–everything was about Connor and everything about Connor was broken and destructive and terrible–but If I Could Tell Her makes me cry just as hard. Laura Dreyfuss’ performance is astounding tbh, and hammers home how much Zoe wanted a relationship with her brother despite everything: “he always seemed so far away/It’s like I don’t know anything.” It just breaks my heart how hard Zoe is trying to make sense of the Connor she sees in Evan’s letters and how incongruent that person is with the Connor she remembers, and also y'all, Zoe loved her brother!!!! She hated him but she loved him too!!!! Zoe Murphy is so kind and good-hearted and so lonely and I love her she deserves the world ok I’m just saying. I have too many feelings about these sad kids!!

tumblepumpkins  asked:

I just finished watching the preview of the first episode of the new MST3K, and I enjoyed seeing you in it! I gotta say, I'm totally down with this reboot. I think they did it the right way.

I’ve been a fan of MST3K since I first saw it in 1992 or 1993. It is a major influence on my comic sensibilities as a writer and performer. I’ve watched it for at least a thousand hours over the years.

I say all of this to give context to this: I’ve seen a little bit more of the show than the episode that I’m in, and it’s perfect. The new cast is flawless, the writing is brilliant, and it embraces and lives up to the soul of the shows we loved so much when we were younger. Jonah is just magnificent, and Felicia and Patton are hilarious, pitch-perfect.

I can’t wait for the rest of the season to be released, because you’re going to love it.

a thank you/love letter.

Six years ago, we stumbled into a little town in Maine called Storybrooke. We fought dragons, traveled through realms, defeated curses, found happy endings, and most importantly, we fell in love with possibly the most screwed up family tree in the history of the world.

Like for most of the fandom today, it’s been a really, really long week. We went from celebrating a wonderful wedding to feeling like the world had been abruptly yanked out from underneath our feet the next morning. This week has felt like it’s been leading up to a funeral and I’ve never been more heartbroken or devastated. And I know, for many fans, this finale is the end.

I’ve been in plenty of fandoms and loved just as many shows as before OUAT came into my life and there will be probably more to come after. What I can’t imagine is anything else having so much of my heart as this show does. I’ve been incredibly lucky to have met many of the cast and long after this, I’ll always respect, support, and love them in their future endeavors as they deserve and I hope you all will too.

The people I’ve met, the experiences I’ve had, and the journey I’ve been on has made this show mean more to me than I’ve ever known before. To a lot of people outside of the fandom life, it’s just a show, it’s just a character, it’s just a movie, whatever. Never let anyone tell you that something as simple as a show can’t inspire the very best in people; or even worse, that they aren’t real. These characters were real, their relationships were real, their stories were real and they changed every single one of our lives.

Thank you to this spectacular cast of Ginnifer, Josh, Jennifer, Colin, Jared, Lana, Rebecca, Emilie, and Robert for everything they’ve given us. Thank you to the enormous supporting cast of actors and behind the scenes crew from Vancouver to LA.

And finally, thanks to you, our followers. We have had lots, lots of ups and downs in this fandom throughout the years, but one thing we’ve all agreed with and never wavered on is our love for this show. Storybrooke Mirror has been here since day one and we will continue to be long after it’s over. Whether or not you’ll be with us in Season 7, please do what makes you happy. And never forget the most important thing that OUAT taught us: there is always hope.

DEGRASSI SEASON THREE IS ACTUALLY ONE OF THE BEST SEASONS OF A SHOW I HAVE EVER WATCHED ! So intense yet lighthearted and just so real - its beginning to give Skins, Skam, etc. a run for their money again. Everything in just ten episodes proves what wonders being picked up by Netflix has done for the show. Pointers ….

☆ THE PLATONIC FRIENDSHIPS

 - Lola and the Gamer Club was so unexpected but so great

- Lola and Yael’s friendship was so amazing and one of the best female friendships to be portrayed on Degrassi IMO. Similar to that between Gamer Club and Lola, they’re such an unlikely pairing but Yael’s support towards Lola and her abortion during episode eight killed me, it was so beautiful

- Grace and Jonah are also one of my favourite friendships on the show bar the fact that I am receiving vibes that replicate season two Grace and Zig. Pleassssse just let there a be a bloody platonic friendship between a guy and a girl, Degrassi, plssss I beg

☆  PLOTS

- I just really love how every character was depicted as so flawed and problematic yet loving and full of worth this season, it was so wonderful to see and it kind of gives hope watching. I’ve more confidence in myself and others after watching ?

- The writing was A***** this season. I cannot find a way to criticise it really. Also, A**** writing. Eric, Olivia and Ana all need some kind of recognition after their time on the show following their exits next season - such incredible actors//actresses

- The refugee plot was so so amazing and I really hope that the information we learn about Rasha and Saad’s backgrounds gives some insight to or a change of heart in anyone watching who has a negative outlook on the refugee crisis. Also, I love how Rasha is a refugee from Syria, muslim and gay, it was just incredible

- I almost cried watching Zoe come out after watching her so clearly struggle in the past few seasons and it broke me when she moved in with Grace after being kicked out by her homophobic a*s of a mom. Zoe’s come such a long way - like, can we just see her happy now, or ? Also, can I just say that Zasha are one of my otps ? Coool (other two are Hael and Fronah.)

- Goldi’s plot !!!!!!! Her character development is ace and I just love how imperfect she can be but how she learns so much. Also, as somebody who cannot stand religion, I couldn’t help but admire and respect how dedicated she CHOOSES to be to her faith. Also, when she supported Rasha coming out YASSSSS

- MAYAAAA MY BBY MAYA ! Her plot struck too many chords and it all made so much sense. In reality, Maya has been a ticking time-bomb for such a long time; she had to boil over at some point. Every tiny aspect of every one of her seasons was so important and poignant. It was kind of nice for her to have a happy ending for once. Also, they better not revert back to her old look next season - HECK NO, KEEP THAT CURLING TONG AWAY !

- We finally got an insight into Esme’s background ! Esme is one of those characters who’s problematic behaviour is sometimes too regular for me to understand or accept but after those final scenes in episode ten, wow ! Esme is going to NEED to have a more prominent role in season four - Chelsea really stole that episode as such a capable actress.

- Lola’s abortion storyline was flawless, it couldn’t have been done any better. It really was the best depiction of abortion in both literature and TV/film that I have come across or heard of. Everything from discovering that she had been taking the pill the wrong way to Yael telling her that she was coming to the appointment. The procedure scene was so so vital and important plus the interaction with the doctor was brilliantly written. I also thought that it was so important that Lola was the pregnant girl in that storyline after being fobbed off as the ‘bimbo’ for song long. Manny Santos-development vibes, yass !

- Episode five was probably my favourite episode this season. It ticked every box with both comedy and addressing the pressures and expectations of sexual behaviour and thoughts on both men and women. I had me both in stitches and in awe like IS THIS EVEN REAL

- I enjoyed Lola and Miles’s platonic relationship so I was a little disappointed when they ‘hooked up’, especially since both are so often depicted as promiscuous and without a conscience. Oh, well. But besides that, I did love how supportive they were towards one another.

- Grace is making me so upset, ohmygosh, episode seven. No words. I was so glad that she changed her mind.

- Well, we can finally understand why Baaz acts like such a d*ck - he is insecure ! That scene where he is basically admitting to being jealous of Hunter was beautifully done and even more so when Hunter let him win the eh, ‘measuring’ contest.

- THE PERIOD STORYLINE OHMYGOSH NO WORDS I JUST LOVE THIS DAMN SHOW

- I haven’t really thought much about the Tristan in a coma storyline yet. I’m not sure how I feel about it uh

☆  RANDOM NOTES

- Did everyone glow up this season or what ?!?!?!?!?!! Especially Hunter and Maya - DAMN ! In the early seasons of Next Generation, the then-cast apparently used to wear their own clothes in scenes rather than outfits from a wardrobe especially curated for their characters. It seems as if the current cast and crew are heading back this way (only have to look at Reiya and Hunter’s hair, plus Lola and Maya’s hair and outfits.) which I looove - realistic looks and all that.

- MAYA IS TALKING ABOUT CAM OHMYGOSH KATIE IS BACK OHMYGOSH INTERACTION BETWEEN MAYA AND MILES OHMYGOSH THIS IS TBT ON ACID

 - Saad’s camera ? Where can I get it ? Pls ? Someone ?

- “You know what they say …. Big feet …” This show, I can’t handle it ohmygosh, bless the Gamer Club YES

- Yael and Hunter are the cutest, I love them both as friends and a romantic pairing and I really love how the show are portraying their difficulties in finding a balance ! Also, we really saw a softer side to both of them and they’re just ahhhhh

- TWIN TIME ! TWIN TIME ! TWIN TIME ! We need more twin time and Hollingsworth sibling scenes in general

- Am I the only one who was delighted that there was no sign of the Hollingsworth parents this season ?

- FRONAH ARE TOO GOOD, THAT IS MY ONLY METHOD OF UNDERSTANDING WHY OR HOW THE DEGRASSI WRITERS COULD TRY SPLIT THEM

- Hunter’s hair and Jonah’s hair and guyliner ayyyyyy

- YAEL IS SUCH AN AMAZING CHARACTER ! I love how they included the ‘girl on girl hate’ ‘I’m not like other girls’ kind of thing and how she realised how in the wrong she was. Also, she has no chill ! The measuring scenes, omfg

- JONAH APPRECIATION ! How could anybody hate this smol bean ?

- Is Winston still only here for comedy, or ? Come on, lads !

- Degrassi incorporating such healthy discussions on attitudes towards sex, death, etc. is just the best. BRINGING IT BACK TO THE OLD SEASONS, AYY !

- will the writers give Frankie a break omfg this girl needs decent development !!! Character development !!! Where u at

- Zoe’s mom just needs to stahp.

okay i should probably stahp now

#watchfuturama meme [8/10 scenes]: Greatest Opera of All Time Sucks

“Your lyrics lack subtlety! You can’t just your characters announce how they feel! That makes me feel angry!”

Richonne “Say Yes” Review by Lauren Avila

WARNING: THE FOLLOWING POST CONTAINS SPOILERS TO TWD’S 7.12 “SAY YES”….. AND IT’S ALSO YVETTE NICOLE BROWN’S NOTEBOOK LONG!

I’m the queen of the world! Woo-hoo! I feel like I’m flying at the front of the most magnificent ship on television. Rick and Michonne Grimes are honestly one of the strongest, healthiest, and inspiring couples I’ve ever seen in any media form. I know it sounds cliche, and they are anything but cliche, but they complete each other. It’s remarkable really because independently they are already capable warriors who don’t NEED anyone but that’s essentially what makes this pair so amazing. Rick and Michonne on their own are survivors, but together they are an unstoppable force. This episode really was a beautiful tribute to each character but a undeniable display of their impressive teamwork. I loved this episode so much I can hardly express why. It was the little things that made me the happiest. I truly appreciate the hardwork that goes into The Walking Dead. The whole cast, crew, writers, and producers are in a caliber quite different from any other tv show out there. It’s such a gift to be able to pick up on new things each time you see an episode. As some fans might have noticed. There was a lot more to the episode than just what was at the surface, as often there is in any episode. Okay, so let’s dive in. There were parts of the episode that I was swooning over as a fangirl but other parts that I found I was completely fascinated by as a regular viewer. I found there was a lot of symbolism and signs going on especially regarding callbacks to other episodes and possible foreshadowing to the future. Let’s first discuss all the callbacks. As a whole, I feel like this episode sort of embodied their journey so far, individually and together. If you look enough into it (as a fangirl), you might even say this was like going down an AISLE of memory lane. ;)

Why I fell in love with Riverdale's cast

Usually when I watch tv shows, I get easily attached to the characters. But when I discover the actors in real life, watch their interviews and stuff, I’m not gonna say I’m disappointed, but I’m kinda sad they aren’t like I imagined them you know? Sometimes I don’t like their personalities, or my otps in the show don’t even get along that well in real life and stuff like that. Usually I fall in love with fictional characters, not the actors behind them. But with Riverdale it’s just so different. The moment I began watching the first episode I just knew I was gonna be obsessed with it. I knew I was gonna love the cast. And then when I watched interviews, they were so much better than my expectations. I loved the actors even more. Every interview shows how genuine they are, how they get along so well and care for each other. They’re all so funny, humble, pure and loving. You can really see the chemistry between them. They actually show that they enjoy working together everyday. I don’t know how to explain it but it felt like I knew them for a very long time. They seem like a family, and they made me feel like I was part of it for some reason. Also the thing that surprised me is that each actor is perfect for his character. I know that it’s supposed to be like that since there’s a casting process and they’re basically looking for the actor who would fit the character well, but it’s insane how they make it feel like they’re actually these characters when they play them and how they don’t seem so different from them in real life (especially since the characters are 75 years old and well-known, so it’s not that easy). There’s a part of Betty in Lili, a part of Veronica in Camila…
I don’t know if you guys feel this way too, maybe it sounds weird and not very clear, but that’s how I feel. And to make a person feel all of this just in a few interviews (because the show just began so we don’t know that much about them after all), is pretty special.
To conclude all of these messy thoughts, I think I’m just gonna say that I’m so grateful for this lovely cast. They’re already gaining so much audience, fans, recognition…and I couldn’t be happier because they truly deserve it.

People should know those two are very lovable.. and I hope Shiyoon doesn’t try too hard to please the viewers, He simply needs to be who he is and that’s enough.

yehet, negative maknae and positive maknae united.
