Savior Ink

Every artist has their signature and hers, it’s cover-ups. Sometimes it’s to mask a now unwanted tat but her favorite is to cover a scar, or as she likes to explain to her clients, honor it. She gets a rush at taking something unwanted and turning into something to cherish.“

(Modern AU / Rated T / 3200 words / AO3

The heels of her boots are loud against the poured concrete floor of the hallway, the last quiet spot before reaching the constant swarm beyond the double swinging doors. Ten years in and she still quickens her pace to enter the one place she’s ever felt it in her heart to call home. The buzzing hits her like a lover’s embrace, melting the tension from her shoulders brought on by a restless night’s sleep.

Ruby’s client’s tongue is trapped between her red tipped fingers, slightly swollen from the shiny new  barbell piercing she’s securing with a sultry wink. Emma can practically feel the pheromones pulsing around the pair as the beautiful asian owner of said tongue blushes furiously as Ruby’s thumb brushes against her bottom lip. It doesn’t take a genius to know that Ruby will be offering to show this new client how to really make use of that piercing, with hands and tongue on demonstration devoid of any clothes.

Emma catches Belle’s eye from behind the counter and they share a knowing smile, both of them used to Ruby’s sexual adventures thanks to her love for giving the entire shop a very detailed play by play.

“Hey Ems, there’s coffee on your station.”

Ah, salvation. Belle is seriously the best, keeping this pack of lady tattoo artists organized and as drama free as possible, considering they’ve all gotten on the same damn cycle.

“What would I do without you?”

Belle just waves her off and goes back to adding to the schedule of appointments on the computer. There’s already three people waiting on the sunken leather couch in the front corner and Emma starts the process of getting her station set up for the day. Other than the appointment with Anton later on tonight to finally finish the intricate beanstalk tattoo on his back, she’s free for the rest of the day for walk-ins.

“I call dibs on stubbled and broody in the armchair, darling. He’s just this side of smarmy and I need the eye candy to help me wake up.”

“Whatever.”

Emma doesn’t even look up from her prep as Crue slinks by on wispy limbs towards her prey. Here’s hoping the guy wants a dog tattoo, cause that’s just about the only thing that woman is good at.

“I sort of know where he is now. Next season will be next season, he might go through a big change, I don’t know. He’s dear to me. I’ve lived with him for so long. I think I’ve come into a place of feeling quite emotional about him, actually, knowing that I’m not going to get to go back to him after next year,” Harington said in a statement.

He added: “I’m really trying to just take stock of having lived this sort of dual life with this character, and being through so much with this character. It’s been a strange journey, but I’ll always be fond of it.”

The seventh season of the popular fantasy drama series Game of Thrones will premiere on July 16. It will be back in India on Star World, Star World HD and Star World Premiere HD. The final season is likely to air in 2018.

Harington added that he has “just finished season seven, and I am already counting down the days until I get the season eight scripts”.

“Everyone’s been wondering how it’s going to end, and what’s going to happen right from the get-go, and theorising about it. It’s really exciting to me not knowing, genuinely having no idea where it’s going to end, what they’ve got in their heads, and being the first to find out,” he said.

“You know, Buck. When my Ma and Pa first met, their eyes changed instantly.” Steve shrugged as he murmured his words.

“I know that, Steve. It’s kind of hard to forget when you mention it every single time I’m with Nancy.” Bucky sassed as he leaned back to his seat in the booth. It was the same diner where he and Nancy first met. It became their agreed on place to meet. The first time they saw each other, it was a sight. They both had one brown and one [Y/E/C]; it was a perfect match.

“You’ve been together for more than a week, Buck. And your eyes hasn’t change a single shade.” Steve tried to knock some sense into Bucky’s head. He has been trying to for a while now. He was there when Nancy and Bucky met.

“I’m aware. But my folks, it took 2 days, Steve. Two whole days.” Bucky, unlike his friends, still held on to the slither of hope that Steve was just being impatient.

“It’s been 10 days, Bucky. I don’t think she’s the one,” Steve lowly murmured. Bucky opened his mouth to answer but whatever he was supposed to say faded away. He took a deep breath. He knew, deep down, that Steve had a point. “You think I haven’t been counting?“

“You’re going to be drafted in a few days.“

“Are you really going to let her think you’re soulmates and make her wait for you until you come back to tell her the truth?” That sentence made his chest tighten.

“No.” Bucky knew exactly what he had to do, no matter how hard it was, he had to do it. It was unfair to Nancy and he knew that. All he wanted was to meet his soulmate before he gets shipped to England. That was his only wish and that was enough to blind him on obvious facts. That Nancy [Y/L/N] isn’t his soulmate. He had to set things straight, even if he had to hurt the woman who has done nothing but want to meet her soulmate but met someone like him instead.

“Oh, you should meet him, [Y/N]!“

Nancy twirled around in her dress as she removed the curlers in her hair. There were clear happiness in her eyes and [Y/N] couldn’t help but smile at her sister. Nancy was such a hopeless romantic, the state of the war not affecting her carefree personality one bit. [Y/N] sat on the bed and grinned at her little sister. Nancy sat beside [Y/N] then placed her head on her older sister’s shoulder. “He’s amazing! He’s funny! He so gentlemanly and very suitable for the war! He has a rank too!“

I truly hated how fast Barry avoided dealing with HR’s death immediately after it happened just to check if the byline has changed. HR made the ultimate sacrifice and later on Iris and Barry are seen laughing, Iris even sings that horrible song off key. What a shitty finale. The show is finished. WestAllen and petty drama has ruined anything it built.

Genre: Romance film, Comedy

My Opinion: So I recently just finished watching this show and the only reason I watched it is because on Instagram I saw a mini clip that seemed to catch my attention. However this show was very different. I like the whole concept of it, of course it had romance included but it was a whole roller coaster ride with the couple in the show. You would be on the edge of your seat waiting whether the two will be together or not. BUT I recommend you all to watch this show! You won’t regret it!

Summary: Ko Hye Rim is a famous fortune-teller. She is known as “Madame Antoine” and insists that she is spiritually connected to Marie Antoinette, but that part is a lie. She can see through people and read their minds using “cold reading” as a technique (a set of techniques used by mentalists, psychics, fortune-tellers, mediums and illusionists to imply that the reader knows much more about the person than the reader actually does). She dreams of having love in a romantic film. Hye Rim then takes part in a psychological test project conducted by psychotherapist Choi Soo Hyun . His goal is to prove that true love does not exist. Coincidentally, the name for his psychological treatment center is Madame Antoine.

My Opinion: So the main reason why I decided to watch this show was due to Jaebum and Jinyoung’s appearance in the show however, I didn’t really like it. I mean I am not going to lie when I watched the show there were some scenes that did capture my attention but then eventually it got boring and I just watched it just to see what happened at the end. I mean the dance was eh, the acting could of been way better cause there were times that made you absolutely cringe but this is my opinion. I mean this isn’t a show I’m telling you all you have to watch. I truthfully think it was eh alright I guess.  But if you guys check it out, let me know what you guys think.

My Opinion: So I’m not going to lie, it took me a long time to watch this show. I started watching this series around December 2016 and it is now June 2017. Can you tell that I lost interest? I mean in the beginning it was interesting. It was different, so at first I was watching episode after episode but it’s just I just felt like the plot was going nowhere. Plus the chemistry in this show was terrible. They could of showed more interest to one another a lot more… Ah well it’s not fully bad.. But I wouldn’t really recommend anyone to watch it. But if you decide to take it upon yours hands and watch it, let me know what you guys think.

“hyung, what happened?!”

yoongi looks up from his seat, sniffling

“t-taehyung, why???”

“why what?” taehyung’s starting to think of the ugliest reasons which could’ve hurt his yoongi-hyung

“hyung, who hurt you? do I need to go kill”

and another sob broke out from yoongi, alarming taehyung even more because what the hell’s going on?

“no, please, don’t.. I’m, I’m fine as long as you’re fine and alive and not dead

not dead?”

“I just watched the latest episode, tae… why hansung? he’s innocent!”

“but hyung, you do know they needed to do that because of our schedule, right?”

“but why can’t you guys just finish it until episode 20?!”

“hyung, calm down! it’s just a drama?” the situation’s pretty ironic because it’s his drama they’re talking about, yoongi seemed to calm down for a moment which relieved taehyung

“t-tae, please tell me that won’t happen”

“hyung, of course it won’t! who uses poison and a sword nowadays?”

“still! it hurts to watch it. I mean, I can’t imagine what I will do if you’re… dying”

and it finally dawned on him. yoongi’s scared since he just saw a scene wherein he’s dying, and it was a concrete image for him despite it being just an acting job.

taehyung smiles softly, pulling yoongi into a hug

“I will not go anywhere, hyung. wherever you are, I’ll always be right there with you”

“right, because we never walk alone?”

“yeah~ did you like the reference?”

“I guess so”

I think queerbaiting is discussed in relation to SPN because it is all subtextual. A lot of people still watch the show through their heteronormative goggles, because that is normal for them and they DO NOT SEE the destiel. I feel like it's canon at this point, but others do not see it and it is not discussed in the show. Is Dean bi??? The General Audience doesn't think so. We've made a lot of progress this season, but destiel is still subtext. I hope that changes by the end of the season. 1

2 I don’t mean to rain on your positivity parade, because the subtext is STAGGERING, but clearly they need to push it a bit further. Any hetero couple would have gotten together and broken up and had misunderstandings and separations that couldn’t be explained away by anything else in the narrative (which we are getting FINALLY this season) for the 8 YEARS Dean and Cas have known each other now. Like we can have TEXTUAL acknowledgement without them BEING together. Even if it’s from a third party.

I know what you’re saying but….

X Files is a prime example because it wasn’t a ROMANTIC show, it was a SUPERNATURAL show, it wasn’t ABOUT the romance so it just kind of… was there in the background for YEARS AND YEARS. I think it basically went canon at Endgame? Then broke up to make the movie and new series? Like - yeah cos their arcs were not finished, it added tension and drama, so yeah of course!

I am not a writer for the show, I have no more information than you do or anyone does, I just look at what is given to me and this is how I read it. I have always also stated that I don’t think its 100% for sure because there are reasons (mainly production at this point because narratively there are pretty much no reasons not to go there) why they may decide not to.

I’m sorry that people are upset by it but I still stand by the fact that you can’t have a long drawn out will they won’t they love story by having it go there half way through.

I don’t WANT them to get together only to break up - also that is not the point of this kind of relationship or their own individual character arcs!

Their character arcs mean that they individually have to figure a lot of shit out before they can fully be happy with who they are and only THEN will they be able to function as a couple.

Pushing them together before they’ve reached their own individual endgame would therefore NOT WORK because they wouldn’t be their endgame, better selves.

The Destiel story is only a PART of their own individual endgames and they have to work at the rest of it in order to have a functioning relationship (which is what the whole show is about, it’s a character based show bathed in supernatural themes, the emotional story of Sam and Dean Winchester and now Castiel, Angel of the Lord and even all the others: Crowley, Rowena, Mary, Lucifer… all EMOTIONAL STORYLINES).

In a way @amwritingmeta is right when she says that Destiel is their reward for the resolution of their true character arcs, I kind of see it a sum of parts but the theory is still the same, Destiel is only a part of the story and it can’t be pushed forwards into a part of the narrative where it isn’t ready for it yet or it will just crash and burn.

Dean can’t be in a relationship with a ‘guy’ until he accepts himself as bisexual / gay / Cassexual (whatever they want to do with it, my head canon is bi, but lets see!), until he thinks he deserves to be loved, until he puts his own happiness above or on the same level as Sam’s and tells anyone who has a problem with this or any other side of his personality that he has been repressing for decades to SWIVEL.

Cas can’t be in a relationship with a human until he accepts himself as not really an Angel anymore, not immortal, not Dean’s protector, guardian Angel, babysitter, that he also deserves to be loved, deserves happiness, isnt a failure etc.

Without all this personal growth it would just be forced and be doomed.

Also - the third party thing. I hope that when the series ends and people rewatch they will realise what they previously might have missed. All the bi!Dean subtext, all the Sam bitchfaces, Sam looks between Cas and Dean, the Destiel subtext, Metatron, freaking AMARA…. it all points to endgame Destiel for me and hopefully it will end up being a sum of parts when it is canon.

I don’t want that and I don’t think anyone does. Sometimes love has to be patient :)

If you’re looking for a wholesome angsty gay love story that is about teens figuring shit out with some suspense and drama thrown in there, watch Eyewitness. No joke, I think it’s the best gay romance I’ve ever seen, because it’s gay romance about teens brought up to something that is written like a straight romance, which means it’s fucking normalized. I love it, I just finished watching the finale, and I have to say, it makes you really giddy, but it doesn’t leave anything incomplete.

Utterly, unfathomably stunning. 💙

Well. I dunno what I was so worried about. I finally finished the finale and it was everything I could have dreamed of and more. The intensity of it was off the scale. My heart was leaping and jumping and thudding the entire time.

From Papa Bear J'onn, to astounding special effects and stunts, the most gorgeous scenes between Kal and Kara, epic battle, plenty of romance, brilliant witty humour to balance the drama, Sanvers, Lena Luthors brilliance, and Cat Grant literally making me cry all over again just by talking.

There were giddy happy moments and special sentimental moments for Karamel… before they tore my heart out (but left me a small very clear token of hope for whats to come). There was The Danvers Sisters making me sob. There were lines that had me giggling. Honestly there was just such depth of emotions throughout - even from Lillian Luthor, who made a stunning impression in such a short time.

This was probably my all time favourite Supergirl episode. I laughed. I cried. I fist pumped with glee and hollered…. I shouted with excitement and had my heart broken crushed and stomped on. The amount of work and effort that clearly went into this piece was heart stopping.

And oh my Rao… Melissa Benoist… as our main character, our Supergirl. Your performance was utterly, unfathomably stunning. I will never be able to thank the cast and crew enough for putting something so meaningful to me together like this.

#fightwithlove #fightwithhonour #fightwithhope Never the less, she persisted.

Just friends ~ Part three

You didn’t sleep at all that night, the thoughts of Seung hyun chasing you down the beach and the way the moonlight hit his face just right kept you awake.

It’s not like you hadn’t noticed how handsome he was, like the sun in the sky it was plain to see, you had just never allowed yourself to think of him in a romantic way before because you knew you weren’t his type. Seung hyun had an acquired taste in life and his choice in women was one of them, everything he wanted in his companion was everything you weren’t, the complete opposite in fact.

But there was something about last night, the way he held you in the water and carried you back to the beach, the way he placed his jacket on you when you were cold and carried your shoes for you, the way he looked at you when you stood at your door. There was something in his eyes and in the way he was behaving, his body stiff, reminiscent of the first time you had met him.

Exit Rave: Tomorrow with You

Here we are again after…I don’t know how it’s been since I last did a full drama review. I’m sorry I haven’t been very active with original content lately. While I have been busy with activities that take away from my drama time considerably, I also have dropped a large number of dramas that didn’t hold my attention so far this year (Voice, Missing 9, Hwarang) or have finished certain dramas that I just didn’t have anything so say about, or were already so widely discussed that I didn’t feel I had anything to add (Goblin, Age of Youth, among others).

But finally, I finished a quality drama in 2017 that was worth writing about.

And it’s one that nobody else was really talking about. Which isn’t to say it was all quiet on the Western fandom front, but there was considerably less buzz than I expected considering the cast, the premise and even the station are usually fandom catnip.

Tomorrow with You is a romantic drama about Yoo So Joon (Lee Je Hoon) a bright young man who, after an unforeseen tragedy in his life, is suddenly granted the ability to travel to the future using the subway. He uses this ability to become filthy rich and in the process becomes detached from his life and from ordinary people. However, he finds that his fate is inextricably linked with that of Song Ma Rin (Shin Min Ah), a fallen child star trying to overcome her public image and embark on a respectable career as a photographer. Dark clouds are on the horizon for the both of them if So Joon doesn’t do something to change the future. Selfishly, in an attempt to save he own life, he marries Ma Rin without love, but in the process of tampering with fate genuinely falls for his wife.

Lee Je Hoon was a hot commodity, coming off of Signal, and Shin Min Ah is Shin Min Ah (I don’t know, I have a bias toward her. I think she’s a queen.) On paper, this immediately felt like it had all the necessary elements for a fan favorite. However, that did not turn out to be the case.

Genre: Fluff

Summary; You’re a famous foreign celebrity and a good friend of the owner of JYPE. Jinyoung has always had a crush on you, and upon meeting you in person, he finally realises what it’s like to be a fanboy who meets the love of his life in person.

(Y/C) = Your country

Being in the limelight came with many perks as it did downfalls – but you were always the type of person to count your blessings first. And one of the many pros of being a celebrity was the fact you got to visit so many countries around the world, and right now you were on your way to Seoul for a well deserved vacation and to meet with your good friend, JYP – owner of JYP Entertainment.

You had first met JYP back when you began acting – he was in (Y/C) at the time attending the same convention as you.  Your manager introduced you both - and the rest was history. You were thankful for the invaluable advice he gave you, and always telling you that if you ever decided to visit Seoul to drop by the JYPE building to say hello; and that’s exactly what you had planned on doing. You were of course a huge fan of JYP, listening to and searching up new music by the talented artists that he produced – GOT7, Twice, Wonder Girls and Day6 just to name but a few.

Proposal for the next Zelda game that will give everyone what they want: (pls steal my ideas nintendo they’ll make u a lot of money i promise i wont sue) Link, Zelda, and Ganondorf all grow up together as friends, right. All Ganondorf’s life he’s constantly told that he’ll be Hyrule’s downfall and is always working hard to prove the naysayers wrong along with Link and Zelda’s help. Just when you think Ganondorf is going to be the big bad like everyone says BAM Vaati appears to threaten the kingdom once again. Vaati recognizes all of them but has a specific beef with Ganondorf for using him in the past for his own plans yadda yadda. Maybe the G-man questions his own faith in himself at some point for added drama that maybe he really is a bad guy bc he does some questionable things, but Link and Zelda assure him that these things arent all black and white. They all team up together to defeat Vaati, Ganondorf dealing the finishing blow and everyone who spoke against him eats their words. Everyone in this life time lives happily ever after and we finally get a Ganondorf with depth that isnt just a one note villain. Hell for all I care he /can/ become a villain still and the tragedy of his and the other two’s destiny is insanely apparent since now they have to stop someone who used to be their friend. What I’m saying is Calamity Ganon was boring af.

But yeah that’s the game.

Only One - Part 6

This weekend at the end of April, it was an usual busy day for Matsui Jurina. Dance practice, vocal, theater performance, photoshoots, and those other activities that made her want to scream out of tiredness.

But, no matter how tiring or depressing her schedules were, Jurina was always being professional and always do her best for her fans and team mates’ sakes. Beside that, Jurina was a senior and an experienced idol , even adored by her own group’s producer; Akimoto-sensei. These… were a piece of cake for her.
