Parents were made to be embarrassing. You absolutely knew it.

You had finally brought Sebastian over to meet your family and they were ecstatic to finally meet the man who made you happier than ever.

Dinner went over perfectly. Your father approved of him and you mother adored him. They talked amongst each other like they had known one another for years. You couldn’t help but smile proudly as you watched and listened.

After dessert you all headed to the living room. On the way over, Sebastian spotted your high school graduation picture on the wall. He stopped in his tracks and stared at it. He thought you looked cute with your cap and gown on.

The wind whips past Taehyung in icy gusts as he makes his way onto the bridge. He can feel the cold seep through his parka and into his bones. Even with his hood up, his hair still manages to fly in his face.

It’s a weekday in the middle of winter, so there aren’t many people around. All the residents are at work, all the tourists are at home. He notices a police officer walking up and down the pedestrian path, making sure everything is alright. It’s the same officer he sees every year. He’s come to recognize the officer. But he doubts the officer recognizes him. He probably sees hundreds of people every week.

Taehyung finds the familiar spot on the bridge that he has come to every year for the past 4 years. He knows that this spot is partially obscured by one of the support beams and is therefore a little less windy than other parts of the bridge. Sometimes he wonders why you chose this spot. It’s like you knew he would be coming here and you wanted to protect from the cold. Maybe it was just because you couldn’t make it any further.

Part one   Part two

Alright, here is Part 3. I can’t believe this. I feel so blessed to have you guys. I can not express how happy I am that you guys are enjoying this series. I love you guys!

Deans POV

We’ve been in the car for about ten minutes now. Not long, but long enough for a 2 year old to get tired. Eli was passed out in her car seat. I couldn’t help but keep looking back at her. She looks just like Y/N. Somehow she got my green eyes though. I never thought I would want kids. The hunting life is too dangerous for Y/N and I to be together let alone have kids. But this kid is growing on me, and I’ve only known her for a half hour. Have I mentioned how screwed I am? I sighed as I remembered what I was doing to myself. It’s going to be really hard to leave. But I need to.

“Are you feeling okay?” Y/n must have noticed my smile was gone, that and my sigh, I keep worrying her. I got to be more careful.

“Ya I’m great. I’m just excited to see everyone ya know. Feels like forever for some reason.” I kept glancing at her with a grin as I talked to her.

“Well it has been a couple of weeks. For mom and dad anyway. For Sam and Jess, it’s been…..God, I think it’s been about four months.” She returned her beautiful smile.

“Four months?” Why has it been so long?

“Ya, they were out here for Christmas, but that was it till now.” I want to ask her where they live, but I don’t want her re routing me to a mental hospital. I’m glad I knew my way around here. I wouldn’t want to ask her for directions to my own parents house, that would be horrible. I’ll just play casual and hope I get answers as I go.

“I’m going to call mom and let her know we’re running a little late.” Y/N reached into the diaper bag at her feet and pulled out her phone. She always hated purses and other girly type things. It’s nice to know that not everything is different. It’s still weird hearing her call mom and dad…..well mom and dad. That brought a slight smile to my face. She put the phone up to her ear, and almost immediately I heard someone on the other end.

“Hey mom.” She waited for a reply. “Ya everything’s fine. I just wanted to let you know were running a little late, but we’ll be there soon.” Oops, probably my fault. “No, actually, Eli was very cooperative this morning. It was you son who was dragging his feet.” She shot me a playful grin and a wink. I let out a low chuckle and turned back to the road. Mom must have said something funny cuz Y/N let out a low laugh a couple seconds later. Both of us still aware of the sleeping toddler in the back seat.

“No hes excited. Especially to see Sam, he just seemed a little out of it this morning.”

That an understatement Y/N. I thought as I rolled my eyes.

“Which by the way, what time does their plane get in? Do they need someone to pick them up?” Well, a plane, their out of state somewhere. Good to know. No wonder its been four months.

“Okay, sounds good. We’ll be there in about ten minutes or so and I’ll help you set up.” She nodded a couple times. She still has that beautiful smile I can’t get enough of. Shes so happy.

“Alright, love you too! bye.” And with that she hung up and put her phone back in the bag. She turned toward me. “So mom says that Sams plane will arrive around eleven, so they’ll be at mom and dads around noon. Just in time for food.”

“Do we need to get them from the airport?” For how much I want to see Sam, I hope she says no. I want to spend as much time with mom and dad as I possibly can.

“Nope, she said their renting a car.” Yes! Awesome. I’m getting more and more antsy the closer we get.

And as if on que, about two minutes before we pulled up to the house, Eli woke up. She rubbed her eyes and looked around.

“Grandma and Grandpas house?” I would say her voice is that of an angel, but their dicks. Her voice is just as beautiful as Y/N’s though.

‘Almost sweetie.” Y/N looked back at her.

“Is uncle Sam there?”

“Not yet. He’ll be there in a little bit though okay?”

“Okay.” Eli looked out the window just as we were pulling up to the house. “Yay! We’re here!!” she screamed.

“Yep were here!” They both seem so happy. I’m so glad this isn’t a dreadful visit. This seems too good to be true. I’m beginning to think that I’m dead.

Y/N and i opened our doors simultaneously. I took a quick scan at the house and then made my way to the trunk while Y/N got Eli out of her car seat. Right as Eli touched the ground she screamed.

“Grandma!!!” She took off up the yard to the front door. There she was, mom was bent down, arms open waiting for Eli to reach her with a huge smile. She immediately engulfed Eli in a hug and lifted her up. I wanted to take a picture.

Y/N pulled me from my staring. “Here babe, let me take those, you carry the drinks.” I grabbed the bags full of drinks and shut the trunk. We made our way up the yard, my heart pounding harder with every step.. Mom moves Eli to her hip so she can greet Y/N. She pulls her into a hug and kisses her cheek. Y/N then makes her way into the house.

“Dean!” God I miss that voice. “How are you sweetie?” I swear I stopped breathing.

“I’m good mom.” She pulled me in for a hug and a kiss on the cheek as well.

“Come on, lets get those in the kitchen before your arm starts to go numb.” Her and Eli giggle and we head inside. The place hasn’t seemed to change a bit since I was a kid. Maybe a few decor changes to keep up with the times but that’s about it.

We walked into the kitchen. Y/N was putting the food trays in the fridge. It was only 10:50, we still had about an hour before Sam and Jess got here. I joined Y/N and put the drinks in there as well, trying to squeeze it all in. We both stood up and shut the door. Mission accomplished.

I looked back a mom. Eli’s arms are around her neck and they’re staring at each other giving Eskimo kisses. Eli’s giggling. She’s definitely like her mom. Everything about her is mesmerizing. Y/N snakes her arms around my waist. I wrap my right arm around her shoulders so she can lay her head on my chest. I love this feeling. We steal a glance at each other smiling. Then she looks at mom.

“Where’s dad?” she asked stealing glances around the room.

“Oh, hes out back cleaning the grill and getting it ready.” Mom pulled away from Eli to answer.

Y/N looked back up at me giving me a quick peck on the lips and headed to the back yard. Eli was pushing at mom a little, letting her know that she wanted down. She took off to the back yard with Y/N. Mom looked back at me.

“Dragging your feet this morning huh?” She asked with a curious grin. I let out a light chuckle and looked at the floor.

“Ya, a little. Just had a weird dream, woke up and almost forgot where I was.”

“You swear your okay?” I looked back up at her.

‘Ya, I’m great.” I paused for a second just taking her in. “How about you?”

“I’m good. Your dad and I just went to the Kansas speedway a couple of days ago. I tried to get him to sign up for a quick class, to drive one of those cars but, he decided not to. I don’t know why.” She shook her head and kept smiling.

“Wow, I would have love to see that.” I chuckled.

“I know, I thought he would enjoy it. But I didn’t want to push him.” She looked to her left out the window to where dad was and smiled. I was just out of range, I couldn’t see him.

“Well we better get decorating. Sam will be here within the hour.” She walked over to the dining room table to grab the decorations. “Can you go grab Y/N for me and then see if your dad needs help grilling?”

“Ya sure.” I head to the back door. There he was. I saw him through the window. Just as I remembered him. My parents haven’t changed a bit. Y/N’s back was to me talking to him. Eli was running around the yard playing with her toys that she had here. As I walked up to them he glanced at me. I reached up to put my hands on Y/N’s shoulders right before she turned to see who dad was glancing at.

“Hey, mom needs your help with the decorations.” I looked down at her and smiled.

“Oh crap! That’s right. Can you keep an eye on Eli?”

“Who do you think I am? Her father?” I raised my eyebrows and chuckled.

“Ha Ha, very funny.” She smiled and then leaned up to kiss me, then headed inside. I turned slightly to watch her. I can’t get enough of that women. I turned back to dad and smiled.

“Hey dad.”

“Hey Dean. How is everything?”

“Good, really good.” We stood there staring at each other for a second. “Mom told me you guys went to the speedway.”

“Ha, ya. Didn’t know if we would like it, but we wanted to get out of the house and do something, ya know?” I stared at him for a second more. I can’t believe I’m standing here talking to my dad, about NASCAR of all things. Not demons, not vampires or werewolfs or ghouls. This is so weird.

“Ya. well did you at least have fun?”

“Ya, we did, you should check it out sometime.”

“Alright, I might just do that.” I gave him a grin. “You need help with the grilling?”

“Nah, I think I got it. Thanks though. If I need ya, I know where to find ya.”

“Alright, just let me know.” He gave me a reassuring grin.

“Daddy!!” Eli yelled. I looked over at her, she was squatting down in the grass, staring at something. “Come here daddy!” I looked back at dad, we both smiled and I headed over to her.

“What is it baby girl?”

“Look what I found.” She reached down into the grass as I squatted down next to her.

“What is it?” I smiled at how excited she was.

“A worm!” She pulled it up into view. It wiggled in between her fingers.

“Cool! I bet you can find a bunch of those back here.”

“Absolutely! But hey, maybe we can do that later. Uncle Sam will be here soon, and we’re going to eat. Don’t want you getting too dirty yet okay?”

“Okay. Will you help me later?”

“Sure! Hey maybe even Sam will help.” Her eyes widened. Her excitement just grew. I couldn’t help but laugh. This little girl is so adorable.

“Eli! What are you doing!?” Y/N yelled from the back door.

“Catching worms!” Y/N laughed.

‘Okay, well lets not do that right now! We don’t want you getting all dirty before uncle Sam gets here!”

“I know mommy! Daddy already told me!”

“Alright, good! Why don’t you come inside and try to go potty and wash your wands!”

“Okay!” She stood up and grabbed my hand. “Come on daddy, lets go wash our hands.”

“Okay. Lead the way princess.” I stood up and followed her into the house.

“So how is the potty training going?” Mom asked Y/N.

“It’s going real good. She’s only had two accidents since we started a couple weeks ago.”

“That’s great!” I am so not used to these normal conversations. Y/N turned as she heard us enter the house.

“Oh there you are. Okay lets go potty.” Y/N walked up to both of us and grabbed Eli’s hand. Gave me a smile and a quick kiss and then they were off.

“You have a smart girl there Dean. You and Sam took a little longer to get the whole bathroom thing down.” I looked over at mom. She was setting the table. The house was decked out with balloons and streamers. They did a good job. I don’t remember the last time I even celebrated a birthday let alone seeing all of this.

“Speaking of Sam, when do you think he’ll get here?” She looked up at the clock on the wall.

“Let’s see, 11:55, they should be here any minute.” She flashed me a smile. “Miss him huh?”

“Ya, it’s been awhile. How’s he been?”

“Well, he says he’s been getting a lot of cases. No denying he’s a lawyer now.” Wow, a lawyer. He did it. God Sammy, I’m sorry. I ruined everything.

“Grandma! Grandma!” Eli screamed running into the dining room. “I went potty on the potty!”

“That’s great sweetheart! I’ll have to get you something special since you’ve been doing such a good job.” Mom bent down and gave her a kiss. I looked over as Y/N walked into the room. She smiled at me and I smiled back. Just then there was a knock at the door.

Your POV

Slight snoring came from the back seat. Garth passed out about twenty minutes ago. I was staring between my phone and out the window. Why I still had hope that my phone would ring is beyond me. Again, I can feel Sams eyes on me every once and awhile. I’m trying not o look so defeated, but I just can’t. I’m mentally and physically exhausted. I keep staring out the window watching the trees fly by. Deans been missing for about seven hours now. We searched everywhere we could in the immediate town. We showed a lot of people his picture and asked if they have seen him or the Impala. We’ve come up with nothing. How could he just disappear?

Sams eyes again.

“Sam, can you please stop looking at me like that.” I may have said that a little too harshly.

“Like what?” He sounded just as tired as me.

“Like you feel sorry for me. Just stop. Please. I’m fine.” I got quieter as I went on.

“I don’t feel sorry for you Y/N. But there is one thing that you and Dean have in common, and that is, that you guys beat yourselves up about things that aren’t your fault.” I continued to stare out the window as Sam went on. “I know that’s what your doing. You need to stop. There is nothing that you could have done to stop this.” He was trying to be comforting but stern at the same time to try to make me listen. Still trying to be quiet because of Garth.

“No Sam. That’s where your wrong. There is plenty that I could have done to prevent this.” I raised my voice slightly. Thankfully Garth is knocked out.

“Like what Y/N!?”

“Like forcing you to go with him. Or I could have gone with him, or hell, the both of us should have gone! Or we should have called Garth a cab or something! But I should have listened to my gut instinct!”

“You did.”

“Well not soon enough! I should have done something right away rather than sit around and clean the bunker! I should have done anything other than try to push the feeling away! Cuz if I did that, he’s probably be at home right now! Instead of where ever the hell he is, and in whatever situation he might be in! So ya Sam. I am blaming myself! Because this is 100% my fault!” My voice started to crack.

“No it’s not! There is no way you could have known Y/N!”

“My gut did Sam! My gut did, and I tried to ignore it.” I looked back out my window. I couldn’t look at him. I was too mad and disappointed in myself. Sam sighed.

“Y/N. You and I both know that Dean is a fighter. We will find him. Alive. I promise.”

“Don’t promise something like that Sam.”

Garth started to stir in the back seat. We pulled up to the bunker and Sam parked the car. I jumped out of the car and slammed the door.Garth jumped.

“What did I miss?” His eyes followed me to the bunker door and then he looked to Sam.

“Nothing Garth. She’s just blaming herself.”

I stormed into the bunker. My mind running a million miles an hour. I’m not mad at Sam, or Garth for that matter. I’m mad at myself. I don’t know what to do. I can’t think straight. If this were any other case we’d be all over it. When family and friends get involved, it messes with you.

I pulled my phone out of my pocket and stared at it. I just want to hear his voice. I want to know he’s okay. Then it hits me.

“Oh my God Y/N. You’re such an idiot!” I quietly yelled to myself and ran to the library. I heard Sam and Garth came in as I sat down and opened the laptop. I hit a couple of buttons and stared at the screen. Tracking Phone. I felt like I was staring at that phrase forever.

“Come on, where are you?” My heart was pounding harder as I waited for it to answer me. Then my answer finally popped up, and my heart sank.

Part 4

Thanks clarkescurves and hypatheticallyspeaking for taking a look at this for me! This one is dedicated to griffin-and-blake for being amazing. Hope you guys enjoy!!

“Griffin! Get your ass over here!”

Clarke looked up from the ankle she was wrapping on Monroe, pushing forward as soon as Monroe promised her it was ok. Gunshots rang in the background, but Clarke was so focused on the scene in front of her that they barely registered. She fell to the ground next to Miller and the guy he had half dragged/half carried away from the gunfire, blood pulsing from his shoulder at a pace far too fast to make her anywhere near comfortable.

“What happened?” Clarke questioned, applying pressure as she waited for the words.

“A bullet shot straight through his shoulder.”

“Straight through? In front out back?” Miller nodded, his eyes staying locked on the guy’s shoulder. “His name?”

“Bellamy. Bellamy Blake.”
