I don’t even know how to thank everyone T_T After such an emotional few days, you all have showed me such unending support, understanding, and love. I can’t even begin to express how grateful I am to have been blessed with beautiful followers such as yourselves. I had been thinking about dropping a little something for you all (not Masquerade III since I didn’t get to write more) and then I spotted my followers count, and WOW!!
THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU <3
So as a thank you and also, as an apology for taking awhile with writing the Masquerade III finale, here are some snippets of my upcoming future works that I’ll be writing after Masquerade III. Keep reading below!
Halfway to my goal for metro-con! You guys are so amazing! Thank you for believing in me and commissioning me! I want to meet and hug Robbie Daymond, Max Mittleman, and Ray Chase! They will all be there :)) If I get to go, I’ll be sure to share my experiences with you all! (Photos, video, etc.) I’m drawing each of them special pieces of art that I want to give them in person and you guys are helping make it happen. Words can’t express how amazing you all are. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you!!!! ❤
(I really wanted to include the “call her mother” scenario somewhere, so because of page count restrictions and needing to keep it all flowing nicely I blended it into this scene. I hope it worked out all right.💦)

Summary: Kuroko wasn’t sure when Kagami had become synonymous with home,
but at that moment, all he knew was that he always wanted dinner with this man.
Rating: G for good try Kuroko
Word Count: 1300+
A/N: This is my first fic for the Weekend At Home event!! It doesn’t follow any of the prompts, but I figured there’s nothing more domestic than cooking at home, so yeah~ Anyhow! I hope you all have been enjoying the works for the event so far, and I’m gonna try to get another fic posted tonight!! <3
The sizzling of the pan on the stove filled the kitchen,
along with steaming heat and popping grease. Mushrooms were gently sliced by a
careful hand, the tapping of the knife on the cutting board monotonous,
rhythmic. Nigou watched from his place on the floor, patient for scraps.
Kuroko paused in his cooking to smile down at him, wiping
his hands on the apron he borrowed from Kagami to scratch behind fuzzy ears.
In all honesty, Kuroko wasn’t really one for cooking. He
wasn’t particularly bad at it, but he also wasn’t particularly good at it. If
he had a recipe in front of him, then he could make simple dishes and decent
desserts. He just didn’t enjoy mixing ingredients, or stirring things in pots
and pans, or watching the gentle rise of a cake.
But sometimes he wanted to cook. It’s just that he
didn’t get much of an opportunity to cook. Not with Kagami living in the same
I think a lot about how much I lucked out with my job. My job is awesome - right up my alley and educational and fascinating and always moving and giving me so many new opportunities to learn - and my coworkers are awesome - kind and funny and enjoyable people who work hard and are always ready to help out - and my mentors are awesome - informative and sharp and excellent salt-of-the-earth types -and basically I love all aspects of it and have no complaints and only excitement for what each tomorrow holds. Except sometimes I don’t put my ass to bed on time and then I bitch about waking up at 5 to work out then head to work. But OTHER THAN THAT a+ I hope you all can find a job similarly awesome if not equally so because no other jobs as awesome as this exist sry
Hello! I'm very new to the Hellenistic scene and I was hoping you could give me some insight as to how it all works. I grew up very aware and informed of all the Greek mythology but my issue involves the actual logistics of worship. For example do you generally work with one/a few gods explicitly or do you work with all the gods but focus on a primary god that you resonate with? Also is any of the original mythology incorporated or is it just centered on the gods. Any help at all is appreciated.
The first thing you need to know is that the myths have little to do with the actual methods of worship, and the way that the ancient Greeks viewed the Theoi. So while the myths give you a good understanding of who all the Theoi are and can help to introduce you to elements of cultic practice (some myths explained specific holy symbols and local holy days), they are just the beginning.
The next thing to know is that the Theoi are meant to be worshiped together. Hellenic polytheism, and especially any reconstructionist form of Hellenism is centered around worshiping and honoring all of the Theoi. Now, not everyone does that, and it can also be a daunting concept at first.
Hellenism is really built around honoring the Theoi, and there are concepts within Hellenism that help us to understand how to do that. The Pillars of Hellenismos are a key part of Hellenism, in my opinion. My page on Building Your Worship has a bunch of posts about getting started in Hellenism, and I’m happy to answer any questions you have
okay so i LOVE mulan okay. as far as i’m concerned it’s a Perfect Movie and doesn’t need any fixing. but i was thinking today and -
- what if mulan didn’t go to war to save her father?
say her father is dead, okay, killed by the previous war. so she’s raised by her mother and grandmother, women who’s complacency and softness has been worn away by necessity. she needs to marry well, for her family’s sake, because her mother has refused the hand of every man who offered. but mulan is even more rough around the edges than before, is educated not only in books (her mother said men wouldn’t find smarts attractive and grandmother pointed out that men aren’t always around and off to school mulan went) but in the sword too, taught to her by her classmate, ping.
mulan is considered in the lower end of the upper class, coming from a family of military men and scholars and successful merchants. ping is near the top, the son or nephew of an advisor to the emperor. his family is very rich and very important, and the reason they become friends is because mulan manages to notice something about him that he’s been hiding from everyone else - he’s going blind.
not totally blind, enough to get around, but blind enough that reading is difficult and swordplay is even worse, although once he has it down he has it. ping is no fool, he’s not weak or bumbling. his eyes just don’t work. so mulan notices and confronts him about it. she promises to keep it a secret, and hey, she’ll even help him with his assignments by reading the books out loud and helping him study. but in return he must teach her the sword, must teach her about military and tactics. he agrees.
ping and mulan become very good friends and there’s some raised eyebrows about it but they are TOO far away in class for it to be inappropriate, so they make tutting sounds and disapproving faces and let it go.
then the draft happens. ping can’t go to war, he won’t survive it. not with his eyesight like it is. so mulan offers him a deal - she’ll go to war for him, in his place. in return, if she survives, he must marry her. if she dies he must take care of her family.
ping can’t make this kind of family decision on his own, so he goes to his mother and tells her everything, about the eyesight and how he’ll die if he goes and mulan’s offer. his mother says he must keep it a secret from his father, but agrees - if mulan fights in her son’s place and survives, a wedding will be arranged. either way, mulan’s family will be taken care of. ping will be sent to live with some cousins in the meanwhile.
“you’re not in love with me, are you?” ping asks, helping mulan saddle her horse in the middle of the night. she scoffs and rolls her eyes, “not even a little. but marrying you will make my family happy, and besides, you’re my best friend,” she says, smiling, “better you than some grabby old man.” he smiles and hugs her and says, “i’m not in love with you either. but don’t die out there. we have a wedding to plan.”
so mulan goes to the camp, pretending to be ping, and she’s a little bit less lost but things still go as they go. she’s educated and trained, so it’s not hard for her to pass as ping. shang is keeping a special eye on her, thinking that she’s the son of an advisor, one of his father’s friends. and he sees how easily she excels, how quick thinking and smart she is, and starts giving her more and more responsibilities. by the time they’re called out, shang considers ping ie mulan to be his right hand man, and possibly his best friend.
he’s also a little bit in love with ping, and he’s long known he’s attracted to both genders, so he watches ping laugh and smile and the crease between his eyes when he frowns and does his best to let his feelings chase away the best soldier he has. every time shang looks at ping his heart clenches and he things to himself: i wish i could have you, i wish this was a time and a place where one man could have another, i wish you were a girl, is wish i was a girl - i wish we could be together. he’s literally a step away from doodling ‘li ping’ with little hearts over his battle plans.
so the battles happen. shang and ping lead their men together, respected and loved. they each get promoted, and promoted, and promoted. it’s been years, and it comes to a point where they’re both generals in their own right. they trust each other, care for each other. and are both secretly in love with the other.
mulan is so conflicted. because she wants this war to end and to go home and settle back into life and become ping’s wife, so she can have an easy life spent studying and learning with her family taken care of. that’s what she’d wanted. but now what she wants is shang, her best friend, her brother in arms, her fellow general. she wishes to be everything to him, aches to be the woman on his arm and in his bed, but knows it’s the one thing she can never be.
then that final battle happens. mulan’s quick thinking saves them all and ends the war - but she’s injured.
shang finds out the ping has been a girl all along. he demands explanations - so she tells him everything, that she traded places with ping to save him, to become his wife.
and the lies should sting the sharpest, but they don’t. she’s still the same person, after all. it’s that she’s promised to another man, for one second he’d thought he might have her, but no. so he agrees not to reveal her but he’s furious and furious at himself for being furious and they’re not the same now, broken and splintered and neither of them know what to do.
the war is over. they leave. mulan returns home, and thanks to her ping is now known as a respected general. she’s done her part and survived, and now she gets her reward - ping’s hand in marriage.
but she sees ping for the first time and flings herself into his arms and starts crying. she tells him everything, because he’s still her friend, her very best friend besides shang, the man whom she lied to and betrayed and loves. and ping listens and takes her by the shoulders and says - i’ll uphold our bargain, if that’s what you want. you can be my pampered wife, you’ve more than earned it. but if you want to go to shang, i won’t blame you. you deserve your happiness.
and mulan goes back and forth, but ultimately she decides she has to try. if shang rejects her she’ll return and marry ping and uphold her family honor. but if shang wants her - he’s not as high up as ping, but he’s high up enough to satisfy her family, and also she would love him and want him if he was no more than a farming peasant so it doesn’t matter much anyway.
she rides to the capitol. she finally meets ping’s father, running into him while looking for shang. “ah mulan,” says this man who was never supposed to know of her until she became his daughter-in-law, “i didn’t expect to see you here. how fortuitous. walk with me.” she does, wary, and that’s how she discovers - he and the emperor had discovered her deception a year in, but at that point she’d already proven herself too skilled and valuable to lose. he tells her that he will uphold his son and wife’s deal and gladly welcome her to his household - but that she’s earned her rank as general, and that he and the emperor have no problem with letting her keep it.
she says thank you, shocked and joyful, but that she has to talk to someone first. “ah, yes, young general li,” he says, eyes twinkling, “i do believe he’s around here somewhere.”
she has no idea how he seems to know everything, but she finally tracks down shang who’s ecstatic to see her and hates himself for it. she confesses - says she loves him, that she’s engaged to ping but willing and able to break this engagement for shang. who is dumbfounded and elated and says yes, of course, finally and forever.
and mulan accepts her rank and marries shang, and they become the literal power battle couple of the general li mulan and general li shang. ping becomes a scholar and marries a very nice young woman who loves reading and is happy to read aloud to her husband with his failing eyes.
Hi, 7goodangel. I am here to ask you about PaperJam as a shy, smol and innocent being (mainly thegreatrouge made him be). There has been some conflicts regarding his trait. Some said his canonical personality is a jerk, like what you wrote in his bio / info and some said that is severely wrong and being shy, (which made him shipped with Fresh), is his canonical personality. What are your thoughts about this? I mean, it is your character and people are taking control of it. Don't you disagree?
Well… I have talked to people and seen public
conversations and this has happened several times to me over months. I guess
I’ve gotten a little numb to it now… or maybe it’s due to school that I
haven’t given it the attention that it deserves. Probably due to school.
I just can’t update constantly like others - even though
some others in school were and are able to update constantly. I can’t keep
going around and holding up my bio of PJ and police people. It’s exhausting to
me… it really takes up the small bit of free time I have.
I think after I get a solid job that I’ll be able to go
around better… but anyway - back to your question.
While I love seeing interpretations and do not want people
to be limited by something and have their imaginations go forth… it’s proving
that a huge con comes with that mentality - which you have pointed out. A lot
of people swear that PJ is the cute, innocent interpretation that really, did
get PJ popular in the first place. While I did have him as a jerk from the
beginning - I kinda kept that info to my RP blog - so you could say it is my
fault this is all happening and I do think that. I could of done something to
make it not as bad as it is now…
It’s just like the NSFW stuff… people just assume the
first thing and run with it. And it really does make me feel like I really am
not needed for my own character at points.
It’s a struggle - I don’t want to have people stop
interpreting PJ within AUs… but I also don’t want people to just see him as
an innocent child to ship with Fresh.
And I’m still trying to find the best solution to it.
But… I feel like the damage is already done. It’s too late
for me to talk to all of these people going around swearing on their life that
PJ is canoncally like Rouge’s interpretation/AUs. It feels like an hopeless
battle to me.
And I guess I needed someone to ask me this question so then
I can fully say my thoughts on this.
So in short, while I love creativity and don’t want to snuff
it out (considering some people would probably think I’m doing that already
with saying “No Sin”), I still don’t like it. It irritates me, irks me,
frustrates me, and I feel like even as the person who thought of PJ in the
first place, my voice isn’t enough. Communities seem like they don’t care about
artists unless they reach a ‘certain goal of popularity’ or seem like they
have a more professional style of art. I know I do not reach either of those
People misspell my username all the time - I actually
claimed ‘7goodangle’ on tumblr for that reason.
People still say “I’m too lazy to find who made PJ”
when they clearly mentioned they looked at the bio on the wiki.
People still go around arguing others on the canon ship of
OmniPJ and swearing that FreshPaper is the true canon ship, when all people are
pointing out is that they need to keep the canon ship in mind when going around
Even just basic personality traits… and these things are
happening on sites that I do not nor want an account for.
I still want others to have fun - to be happy; but I don’t
know… I guess I’m cutting out my own happiness to get everyone else happy? I
want to eventually write a version of PJ within his own universe and story…
and he is more like the version I created within the UT verse. Not exact - but
close. Though who knows… I might shove PJ to the side and replace his role
with another character. I’m still weighing options.
Cause PJ was the first character I ever put this much time
and thought into… my first character that was balanced, well rounded…
And what happens?
You said it Anon.
They took it - changed it (initially as an AU but now people
think it’s canon) - and I can’t do much about it. Due to school and not much
free-time… due to how many don’t know the true creator… and just back
talking anyone who is just mentioning it to people who swear by it.
As an artist and a character designer…
It makes me not want to show designs, characters, and
stories ever again online.
Considering if this is how I was treated on the first one…
why even take a chance at a second one? If it has brought me so much stress,
frustration, and time… why even try it again?
I said I was only going to do fanart so if anyone stole it,
it didn’t really matter.
I think I should have stuck with that thought process.
In conclusion, there are some major things to take away
here. First – that yes, I do not like how it has skewed this far to the point
of arguing over a fandom version with the canon. Canon is canon and I get the
different AUs – this is too far. Way too far. I am emotionally drained from
this – from this whole mess that I have been defending throughout majority of
PJ’s lifespan. I will state this – Paper Jam is my character. He is my original
character that I created more than a year ago. And the UT AU fandom took my
character and warped him to something he is not and all of his original meaning
is lost. I do not like to hurt others or make other sad – but I must put my
foot fully down. This miscommunication needs to stop. I am tired of repeating
things over and over and I have past my breaking point time and time again. I
just want people to see PJ how he really is… and I wish that people could be
focusing more on the reality of him instead of the alternate that they all
claim as truth.
Final words: I still like Undertale – I still like creating
characters and having fun – but the Undertale AU fandom is ridiculous now. The Amino
UT community is insanity in an app, and there is a lot of stuff that has made
many artists and creators to their breaking point and leaving the fandom
entirely. Everyone in this fandom needs to take ten steps back and look at what
they are doing. Go back to the game. Play it again – watch your favorite let’s
player’s videos of it again.
And just… food for thought… please don’t jump the gun on someone else’s OC’s
personality and actions.

The Veil is what separates our physical realm from the spirit world. By opening it, we’re able to communicate more freely with spirits. Essentially, you’ll be making a door and opening it in order to reach the spirit realm.
Disclaimer: I’m not an expert at this, please don’t take my word as the final say. I just started practicing this technique and was taught by a close friend. Always be safe when you practice because if you’re not careful, you can get into some shit. I’m writing this post by popular demand.
STEP 1:BE SAFE. The picture above is a little preview of the layout I used in my own dorm room. It’s hard to see, but I first drew a chalk circle and sprinkled black salt all along the edges of said circle. I also put four crystals at each end to mark it. Why do I have so much shit everywhere?? Because I don’t want anything to come through the door I created and cause problems. This circle keeps unwanted spirits out. (Granted, you don’t have to use as many things as I did. I find that a physical circle is just easier to visualize.) You can also use candles or anything else that works for you!
STEP 2: MARK THE DOOR. I used sun and moon candle holders with electric candles in them (since I live in a dorm and can’t use real candles). I set them apart from each other, like I was making, well, a door. Then I used some Super-Moon water to draw a line between the two candle holders to amplify my energy. Finally, I also sprinkled a line of black salt to stop unwanted and harmful spirits from coming through the door.
STEP 3: RELAX. Get into the state of mind you need to be in to do witchy stuff. Meditation, grounding, singing–whatever you need to do to access your energy.
STEP 4: STRETCH YOUR ENERGY. Whenever you feel ready, slowly pool energy into you palms. Then push it through the marked entrance where your door is going to be, imagining it as a thread, string, or cord connecting to the spirit realm. This might be difficult, especially if the veil isn’t exactly thin where you’re at. You may feel your energy bounce back, or that you’re hitting a wall. If you do, don’t worry! You can always pull back, gather your energy, and try again.
STEP 5: CREATE A BRIDGE. You’ll know the moment when your energy connects to the spirit realm. It feels different for every person–for me, it’s almost like this tug in my gut and the feeling of a thread connecting my hands and body to something else. Once you feel that, it’s really up to you on how you want to create the bridge! For me, what works best is when I imagine myself walking across the thread of my energy towards the spirit realm. As I walk, my energy begins to create the bridge. There might be another door on the other side once you cross the bridge (it’s really up to how you visualize). If there is, open it.
STEP 6: OPEN THE DOOR. Once you’ve made the bridge, feel and hold on to that connection. Then, imagine a door leading to the bridge through the physical boundaries you created earlier. This door can look however you like–whatever’s easiest for you to imagine! Then, use your energy to pry open the door. After that…
Congrats! You’ve successfully opened a door to the spirit realm! You should be able to feel the difference in energies. It’s kind of hard to explain how it feels–almost like this vast, empty expanse and the chattering of lots of different spirits floating around.
When you’re done…
CLOSE THE DOOR. If you invited any spirits in to chat, say goodbye to the spirit(s) that you communicated with and ask them to leave. Make sure they leave before you close the door. If they refuse to, you might have to force them via your own energy (obviously, this is in the worst of situations. Try not to be rude if possible!). We’ve had to do this before and it’s not the most pleasant thing (haha).
To close the door, pull your energy out from the spirit realm. Imagine that bridge you created crumbling, until you can no longer feel that connection. Once you’re out, close the door, seal it up, and do anything else that feels necessary in order to break the opening. For me, I usually make a breaking motion with my hands to signify the cut-off connection. You can chant or say an incantation if you like as well. This is important, because you definitely don’t want to leave a door open for spirit to come through willy nilly!
PLEASE BE CAREFUL!! If you’re not cautious, some bad spirits might be able to get through and that’s never fun. If possible, try this first with someone else (preferably someone who knows more of what they’re doing). If you can’t, make sure you have multiple backups, wards, and other witchy things to keep bad spirits at bay.
If you want to invite a spirit to chat, it’s probably a good idea to have an offering around, just to be polite. Tarot cards, pendulums, etc. are pretty awesome tools to use if you’re not great at telepathic communication!
Take everything spirits say with a grain of salt. They can lie just like people.
I hope this was helpful to those that asked! If anyone wants to add anything, feel free to. I’m by no means an expert, so if someone wants to add their expertise advise please do! If something doesn’t feel right, go with your gut–never do something you’re not comfortable with.
