i have so many feelings for this guy

I’M JUST…….Guys I can’t even explain how emotional I am over that Iman Meskini shoot

It means SO MUCH to me to see a fellow hijabi sister thriving and doing so well and saying on the cover of a magazine how she’s PROUD TO BE MUSLIM

because for so long so many of us Muslims in the west (especially hijabis) have been made to feel that we should somehow feel ashamed to be muslim or try to downplay it/downplay our so called ‘otherness’

and here SHE IS, unapologetically being her gorgeous self, displaying her religion with PRIDE, and with all of her identities as a Norwegian, Tunisian and a Muslim existing and coming together peacefully

I just…..love her and what she’s doing for us hijabis soooo much, how she’s such an inspiration and role model <3 <3 <3

Bless Iman truly, may Allah always keep her happy and smiling that lovely smile

oh god I have so many feelings about joyce byers being a lesbian and for so! long! in her life she tries to make it work with men, and she thinks: maybe i don’t love him because he’s abusive, because he drinks, because he doesn’t love our children. but then she meets nice guys. she dates nice guys, she sleeps with nice guys. and feels so profoundly broken because she just…can’t do it. can’t feel attraction for them, can’t feel love, can’t feel anything other than desperately grateful that they’re not like lonnie.

but then. then she starts spending more time with karen wheeler. karen with her perfect hair and perfect figure and perfect life (or so joyce thinks) and god. she really is perfect, isn’t she? with her laugh, hesitant like she doesn’t allow herself moments of freedom too often, and her smile and the way she loves her kids (as much as joyce loves her own). and it’s intoxicating being around her, in a way that’s got nothing to do with the jack and coke joyce is sipping or the glass of white wine sitting delicately in karen’s hand.

it’s like joyce’s skin is alight and like part of her heart that just didn’t know how to exist before is born - slowly, softly - in the moment between tracing karen’s smile with her eyes and leaning forward to brush her normally perfectly-coiffed hair off of the sharp of her alcohol-reddened cheek.

Quinn: Dominic, I am so sorry but it is you who I’m sending home this week. We’ve had so many good times together, and I’ve really enjoyed getting to know you, I just don’t feel that we’re a good match as life partners. You are an awesome guy and I have no doubt that Mrs right is out there right now waiting for you.

@madeyesims THANK YOU SO MUCH for entering Dominic into my Bachelorette Challenge, He has been so much fun to have in my game, and I am really sad to see him go. As with all the other eliminated contestants he’s been moved into another household to hopefully find love with someone else in my game..

i have such a soft spot in my heart for nathan prescott honestly

i know hes like the worst and he did so many bad things but i feel sooo bad for the poor guy. like i get so upset every time i have to listen to that voice mail. that’s literally so sad it really hits home with me everytime

YOU GUYS! I am getting ready to go to the gym and get my ass kicked, and I decided to quickly hop on here to see how “Interruption” is doing in its first 24 hours, THEN I SEE THIS SHIT! I can’t believe that I am close to 500. I can’t believe that I have so many people who actually give a shit about me, my writing, or my voice. I can’t believe that people are kind enough to give feedback, like, reblog, and just listen to me. I started writing as a way to just get ideas out and make myself feel okay. I am so glad I kept going thanks to the love and support from you guys. I can’t talk too much longer cause I’m on my way to the gym. But I’m sure I will make a long sappy post when I hit 500 or more. In summation: Thank you all so much. Every like or comment or reblog means so much more to me than you know. I love you guys! 😭😊❤️ <3 -DreaSaurusREX

And I’ll answer 4 questions from each!!

1. Do you collect anything?

I do! I collect really cool rocks (I know so exciting) and buttons. Omg I LOVE buttons, I started my collection when I was about 5 so I now have so many buttons. My buttons are great, guys. Believe me.

2. What’s your favorite painting, or a painting you really like?

Oh my favorite painting is definitely ‘Swans Reflecting Elephants’ by Salvador Dali. It’s such a fun and beautiful painting, I just love it. Please check it out.

3. How tidy is your room right now?

Well I mean it’s not terrible like I can still see the floor but there’s laundry everywhere and since my room is in the basement, there’s a bunch of spiders and webs in the corners of my room. But we’re all friends and the spiders pay rent so it’s cool. We party on Friday nights. It gets pretty wild.

4. What was the last song you listened to?

The last song I listened to was Kiss The Girl from The Little Mermaid because we were playing Disney music for my baby cousin. It may or may not have inspired a fic idea sooooooo stay tuned.

5. Best song lyric of all time in your opinion?

I would have to say ‘But girls love girls and boys And love is not a choice’ from Girls/Girls/Boys by P!ATD. I hope that’s not too cheesy but the song is really special to me because it helped me realize it’s totally cool to be bisexual. I don’t know I just really love it.

6. Favorite candy?

I swear my favorite candy is always changing but right now it’s a tie between Mint Aero bars (ay oh) and Sourpatch Watermelon Slices. (I love artificially flavored watermelon but I hate real watermelon.) Go figure.

7. Latest you’ve ever stayed up reading fanfic?

Probably around 2 or 3 am. But I’ve stayed up till 6 writing so who really knows at this point.

8. How fluffy do you think Simon Snow’s hair is?

I would like to think Simon’s hair is fluffier than a cotton candy sheep that also feels like a cloud. I don’t even care if that doesn’t make sense.

9. Celebrity crush?

Oh man. For awhile it was Felicia Day and Jensen Ackles (hey I was on a Supernatural kick) but then I saw Atomic Blonde (incredible movie btw) and now I’m hardcore crushing on Charlize Theron.

10. In case of a zombie apocalypse how many people would you risk your life for? (I think you made this question just for me XD)

Well my sisters come first, always, so that’s 2. And then my parents so 4. And then my best friend Maya. So 5 people. I mean that’s a lot in terms of people you die/almost die for but they’re very important to me.

11. What’s your favorite sport?

S o c c e r. I love soccer so damn much like don’t even touch me. I watch it occasionally but I have way more fun playing it. I’ve been playing since I was 3. It’s one of my passions.

12. Do you think the Carry On fandom should stop discussing food?

Noooooooo this is seriously so fun and hilarious like first it was the bagels and butter and now it’s cereal I DON’T WANT THE FUN TO END!!! (I’ll still fight you on the cheese thing, and don’t think I won’t.)

Here are my questions!!

1. What’s your favorite color (I know that’s really basic but I think someone’s favorite color says a lot about a person) and why?

2. Do you like rain? And if so, what’s your favorite thing to do in the rain/when it’s raining?

3. How do you feel about sunglasses?

4. Do you like to swim on a scale of: being in bodies of water larger than a bathtub is pointless to bro I’m a fucking fish?

5. Who’s your favorite Sesame Street/Muppet character and if you’ve never seen them (which is quite a shame) what’s your favorite children’s show?

6. What’s your favorite fanfiction in the whole world and if you can’t decide, what’s one you’ve read more than once?

7. What are your favorite things to put in a taco?

8. Are you good with babies/children?

9. Pillows or blankets?

10. Would you rather have a castle in the sky or underwater?

11. Which do you like better, pinwheels or propellor hats?

And I tag these fantabulous bros:

I made my post about feeling down less than an hour ago, and already you guys have made a difference. So many of you have been pouring love out to me and making me feel better. Despite how bad I have been feeling, you managed to make me smile. Thank you so much, I love you all ❤️

I also was looking through stuff on here and saw several @therealjacksepticeye quotes that I really needed to see. I was reminded that he believes in me. I was reminded that I will get through this. I was reminded that there’s someone out there who doesn’t know me, yet cares - as well as everyone in the community.

So thank you, all of you. Thank you, Jack, for being the amazing human that you are and for always cheering me up even on my worst days. And thank you to all my friends, who have always been there for me when I’ve been down. Thank you for reminding me that I’m not alone and I am cared about. I’d be lost without you guys, I don’t know what I would do without you all.

Thank you so much, I’m so grateful to have you. I love you ❤️❤️❤️

Operation Kuron

Alright, so this guy-

-isn’t Shiro.

For one thing, there’s just too many shady circumstances surrounding his escape from the Galra ship: it was too easy, the Galra scientist seemed to treat him escaping as a part of his evil plan, and we get no explanation as to how he got there in the first place. I really, sincerely don’t think that Black would have teleported him straight into the hands of the Galra– despite Keith’s theory, Shiro had freed Black by the end of the fight, so Zarkon wouldn’t have been able to force Black to send Shiro into captivity again. Also, no one else in the Galra empire seems to know that they have the Black Paladin in captivity. Lotor spends the whole season guessing at why Voltron is sucking so hard, and if the Galra really had Shiro, he would have known why immediately.

Another problem is this weirdo’s hair was too long at the beginning of his episode– much too long give the amount of time that passed between the fight with Zarkon and his waking up on the ship (which was likely like. two weeks at most). The timeline doesn’t match up. And where’s the Black Paladin suit Shiro had been wearing when he disappeared? This new guy is in the exact same outfit Shiro was in when he escaped the Galra for the first time.

There’s just something… off about this guy’s behavior. He looks like Shiro and talks like Shiro, but he doesn’t feel like Shiro.

So, Real Shiro’s probably off somewhere else (my money’s on somewhere close to the resistance / Matt). But, then, who the hell is Mr. Fashion Disaster?

A few smart people have managed to work out that “kuron” translates to “clone” in Japanese. So, what this is getting at is that it’s very likely that the Galra had a plan to make Shiro clones. Which definitely explains:

Was the plan to make an army? Was it to make a team of elite Shiro fighters (maybe… a bunch of Shiros to fly the Voltron lions……?)? I have no idea lmao. But what I’m thinking is that whatever the original plan was, it fell through, because Ulaz managed to get Real Shiro out before the cloning technique could be perfected. So, the Galra were left with a bunch of clones that were either too weak to survive or just wouldn’t wake up or were otherwise “unusable.”

But then, Subject Y0XT39 passes their tests.

So, they change the objective of the project (either to ‘infiltrate Voltron’ or something else equally as evil) and get to work on this clone. And then, they release him out into the world. That ‘escape’? Was a test to see if he thought and fought like the real Shiro. They wanted to make sure their experiment was successful.

The main question, then, is: how does Clone Shiro have all of Real Shiro’s recent memories, including the very recent fight against Zarkon?

Okay so I don’t know about you guys but I made so much fun of Shiro’s hair in the first season. Why did the Galra give him an undercut? Do their prisoners have to be pretty? Was Haggar like “I can’t look at this dude every day unless his hair is properly trimmed”? But… uh……

You shave people’s heads when you’re going to do brain surgery on them.

What caught Haggar’s attention when it came to Shiro wasn’t just his fighting prowess– it was his mind. His ability to strategize and bring others together and inspire loyalty. The clones have to have Shiro’s memories, his experience, to be effective.

So, Real Shiro’s brain transplant has been broadcasting Shiro’s memories to Clone Shiro. Clone Shiro has been asleep for a while until he’s ‘caught up’ on everything (which takes a while, hence the long hair), and wakes up on the Galra ship he was made in with all of Real Shiro’s memories, hence the “weird headache.” His brain was just packed with tons of information.

Meanwhile, the fight against Zarkon likely shorted out Real Shiro’s brain transplant, which means that the latest memory Clone Shiro has access to is that fight. This explains why Clone Shiro doesn’t have memories from whatever Real Shiro’s off doing right now (again, I figure he’s probably going to run into the resistance and/or Matt soon). Clone Shiro thinks he just… ended up on a Galra ship somehow after the fight with Zarkon and that he has to get back to his team. So, he does. The Black Lion saves him because he feels like Shiro and, as he’s dying, connects with her through Real Shiro’s memories. But, once they get to him, something’s slightly off about him. Black is able to recognize this and rejects him as a pilot.

Clone Shiro, for his part, doesn’t even seem to know he’s a clone. Because he hasn’t been fully “activated” yet.

Because the new Stage 3 of Operation Kuron is probably to get him close to Voltron before destroying it from the inside.

I cannot stop thinking about the last ~15 minutes of Big Little Lies, and how it was about communication between women and deliberately cutting men out.  For one thing, it is almost completely silent– sound only returns at the request of the female detective, who is also the one who picked up on the inconsistencies (or rather consistencies) of their stories.  For another thing, major reveals happen without any dialogue at all.  We see Bonnie piecing together the danger oozing from Perry, we see Jane’s horror at discovering her rapist, and then we see Celeste and Madeline put the whole thing together.  Even Renata–the woman most excluded from their group– picks up that something’s wrong.

All without a single word.

It’s silly, but it reminded me of being in sixth grade.  The boys in our class noticed that the girls had a tendency to look at each other when one of them said something dumb, and pretty soon any sort of sideways-look between girls got a loud round of Mr. S they’re talking with their eyebrows again! accusations.  The boys were annoyed (playfully annoyed, but annoyed nonetheless) that the girls had figured out a way to talk in class without actually talking.  We told them they could do it too, but they all stubbornly insisted that wasn’t possible.

Thinking back on that, it strikes me how much of female communication is nonverbal, largely because it has to be.  Women are socialized not to make a fuss, to be quiet, to not take up too much unnecessary space.  This pressure (along with the emphasis on the importance of women taking care of feelings and emotions) creates a quiet sub-language, a code that is not exactly hard to break unless you insist on seeing women as other.  It’s in the look women share when a man catcalls one of us on the street, when we shift to make space for a woman to sit down on the bus because there’s a guy standing just a little too close to her.  This isn’t some innate ability unique to ciswomen– and again, the code is not at all hard to crack unless you are convinced that women are inherently unknowable– but rather a form of communication female-identified people developed to protect each other.

I saw way too many reviewers say that they didn’t buy Bonnie knowing Perry was dangerous without having her book backstory to inform her (where she’s apparently a child of an abusive father), or arguing that Celeste and Madeline just knowing Perry was Jane’s rapist was a bridge too far, but to me, that was the most organic moment of the series.  Not because women have natural intuition about these things, but because nonverbal communication is a skill women have developed to protect themselves and each other from men like Perry and so having them communicate without ever speaking a word was incredibly powerful.  Without the audience ever once hearing them, these women instantly banded together to protect one of their own– and it was one of their own who noticed.  The male detective basically throws his hands up and writes them off as unknowable, but the female detective is the one who knows the code and thus she’s the one with questions.

Even the last scene was a silent, female-centric haven.  The bad guy is gone but the good guys aren’t there either, relegated to mere sidekicks in a story about female friendship and love.  The audience is left out of their circle too, unable to hear their conversations but able to see their compassion for one another.  They’re talking without words, but we still know what they’re saying.

Druid Shiro Theory Part 2: Shiro’s Arm

Following on from this post about how Shiro is probably a part-Altean Druid who can do magic and make wormholes, let’s talk about Shiro’s arm for a sec. Specifically: why did Haggar give him the arm, and what is it intended to do?

First up… let’s talk about Haggar. She was the one who gave Shiro his Galra arm. We know she loves combining magic and technology, as evidenced by all the robeasts. Perhaps the most dramatic example is the Komar Experiment:

It’s got that weird black smoke surrounded by the purple glow (obviously magic) and the purple lines running across the metal supports (the technology element). Here’s another, wider view of the whole rig:

And now here’s Shiro’s arm, the first time it activates:

Pretty similar, right? And a moment later, he gets that black smoke and purple glow around the hand, right before he overpowers it and then hacks up a bunch of Galra sentries.

{TBH I just wanted an excuse to include this screenshot}

Of course, the revelation that Shiro’s arm is Galra magi-tech is a surprise to precisely no one at this point, but here’s the thing: the Komar Experiment was powered by a bunch of druids. The black smoke and purple glow all came from them. What’s powering Shiro’s arm?

Now, imagine for a minute that you’re Haggar. You find out one of your captive test subjects is part-Altean and has the dormant ability to do magic. You want to turn him into a powerful magical weapon: a Druid completely under your control, trained to fight and do magic. Do you (a) sit in his cell and spend hours walking him through Sorcery 101 until he learns to control his powers, or (b) fit him with some kind of device - say, a prosthetic arm - that activates his magic for him, against his will if necessary.

Option (b) is really more Haggar’s style, right? And the Komar Experiment is proof that Haggar has zero chill and will happily rip the quintessence out of an entire planet if she wants to, because she’s the real Chaotic Evil of this show.

Now let’s take a look at this picture. This is Shiro’s hand right before he brings the arm under his control:

This looks like Shiro is about to do some druid magic. He looks like he’s about to fling some purple lightening or some of that weird black smoke - but he doesn’t. Instead, he overpowers the arm, brings it under his control, and uses it as a weapon.

So here’s an idea: what if Shiro’s arm is a mechanism that forcibly activates his Druid abilities? It would be powered by his own magic, if that were the case. And the reason why it looks like Shiro’s about to do druid magic is because… well… he is. But it’s being forced out of him, and it’s painful and harmful (like forcing the crystals out of the Balmera is painful and harmful). And now that Shiro is free of Haggar’s influence and control, he reins it in and reduces the magic to a level that doesn’t physically hurt him.

What if every time Shiro activates his Galra arm, he’s actually doing magic?

I mean… that arm LOOKS pretty magical. It has multiple functions that Shiro can apparently activate at will, and it gets that cool purple glow every time he uses it, and it leaves a trail of purple light when he wields it as a weapon.

Does that purple glow remind you of anything?

That’s Allura, right before she throws a bunch of magic back at Haggar and the Druids.

Shiro obviously isn’t consciously doing magic - but I think he might be subconsciously doing it. Just enough to make the arm do whatever he needs it to do. After he uses the arm in the Pilot, Pidge asks him: “Where did you learn to fight with that?” and Shiro says: “No idea.” He clearly knows how to use the arm, and we see him use it multiple times, but he doesn’t remember learning how to use it. His {procedural memory} is intact, but his {episodic memory} is damaged. He’s just working on instinct, intuitively channelling quintessence into the arm to power it up and make it work for him.

We’ve seen Shiro’s Galra arm do multiple cool things throughout the series, and whenever we see it, we just assume it’s the arm that’s doing it. But what if it’s not? What if it’s Shiro? The arm is just a tool - like a magic wand - that helps him activate his Druid powers, but all the functions we see are actually Shiro doing a bunch of low-level magic without fully realising what he’s doing or how he’s doing it. We’ve been crediting the arm, when we should have been crediting Shiro and his ability to manipulate quintessence.

Shiro is a Druid, and he’s been doing magic right in front of us this whole time.

u know whats great? that lance has honestly taught me that its okay to be a guy and care about beauty, that its not just a feminine thing and even if it was that there’s nothing wrong with that!

the only other times in movies or tv i’ve see a man wear a face mask or pamper himself is when someones using it for humor- haha look at that guy, he’s not manly at all! he must be gay! thats not something boys do!

lance enjoys pampering himself and feeling pretty and it’s not just used as joke, it’s a part of his nature and no one else points it out or scoffs at it

that just makes me really happy and honestly that precious boy has allowed me to accept certain parts of myself i didn’t at first

you can be a boy and have a beauty routine, you can take care of your skin, its a relief finally seeing that validated and i really appreciate the voltron writers for giving us this part of lance, because it’s so so important! i love him!

I’ve been thinking all week what I should say the last night of the last show… When I met Josh I- I- We don’t- We don’t tell many people this because we don’t want it to come off the wrong way, but I want you to learn something tonight- If you can, if you can. This is what I want you to know: You cannot put a ceiling to your dreams. You just can’t. When Josh and I met, we would say to each other, ‘Arenas… Arenas, man. We wanna play arenas.’ You have to understand maybe now looking around it’s like 'Yeah, sure.’ But at that moment, when Josh and I would say that to each other, we didn’t tell anyone else because we thought they would laugh at us. We would take these little songs, this little keyboard stand thing I’m playing now, that beat up piano show over there- That same exact beat up piano show. We would go around and we would just show people our songs. And you know we’d be playing in front of just a few people at a time, afterwards we would just say 'Greetings. We’re gonna do this.’ You cannot put a ceiling on your dreams, guys, and we are living proof. You also can’t do it alone. You cannot do it alone. Living proof of that, would you please give up for my very good friend, Josh Dun on the drums! And even in this room right now there’s so many people in here who could take a little chunk of this thing and own it and know that it wouldn’t be possible without them and that includes you guys right here. You guys have set the tone from what a Twenty One Pilots concert and show and movement feels like and looks like, so thank you so much for making that happen. I want you to know that what happens after this… There’s a lot of- lot of questions. You know, if I’m being transparent. I’m not really sure. But when I was- when I was putting on my persona for the very first- last time in the green room right before the show, I wondered: Is this the last time? But we’re not gonna quit. I want you to know that we’re not gonna quit. We’re gonna take the things we’ve learned, and if you would just give us a little room to grow with you guys, we wanna make music and we’re gonna be thinking of this room right here when we do. I promise you that. So way back when, when we were playing in front of just a few people at a time, Josh would go over to a- a rickety old circular bar table and he would back flip off of it in front of three people, and I though that was kind of weird. Same piano show over there, these same songs… We saw you guys in our heads the whole time we were doing it, man! And we always ended our set- We always ended our sets with this song here, and we would like to invite you in our little tradition of closing out this concert with this last song with us.

How to learn a new language FAST!

Hi guys! Recently people have been asking me how come I am fluent in so many languages. And although I find this compliment to be very flattering, I do feel the urge to share my best tips with you guys. So I speak around 6 languages, but I am completely fluent in English, Croatian and Italian which always seem to interest people the most. Learning a new language does take time, but hopefully with these tips, you will be able to do it a lot faster!

For instance, if you are from Spanish speaking area, you might want to start off by learning Portuguese or Italian since all those languages have a similar sound and sentence structure. This way learning process might go a bit faster.

For best results, try leaving out at least 10 minutes or so every day to do something in that language. It can be something as simple as listening a song, even listening someone speak. Just be consistent and I promise you, you will find yourself understanding the language algorithm in no time.

It literally doesn’t matter if you understand or have no idea what the heck are they talking about. When I first started learning Italian, I just spent hours watching one Italian movie after the other and God knows I didn’t understand a thing, but I begin to understand the way they formed the sentences and noticed the way they repeated same words but in different context. This is a very important tip because every language has that part that can not be translated, nor explained, only understood by Italian speakers. So just find youtubers, movies or podcasts in language you want to learn and take our dictionary with you and listen.

It’s not that hard, really. There are also app to help you (such as Duolingo). Pick a few words and think of a way to make a sentence out of that word. Then try turning that word in an adverb and then try using that in a sentence. For instance, if you were to learn English and your word of choice was ‘beautiful’ use it first as an adjective: “This apple is beautiful.” Then use it as an adverb: “She drew his portrait beautifully.” This way you will learn a few words that go together and be closer to understanding the language structure. Also, start simple. start off by learning the most common and the simplest everyday sentences.

It doesn’t matter if you’re bad or lacking words, just speak. It is important to use what you’ve learned and practice it. Find someone to speak with. Internet is a huge place and you will find someone to speak with you. Even better if you find a native speaker (who knows, maybe they come to your town as a tourist?) since they will probably be willing to correct your mistakes and you will learn something from them.

This goes with the previous one. If you don’t have anyone to speak with, then write. You will practice your vocabulary and challenge yourself to learn the words that are missing to form a good sentence.

Grammar will come, focus on vocabulary first. Grammar will come as you begin understanding the language itself. So it takes time, but listen to songs, watch movies and try reading books in that language.

Enjoy yourself. Learning a new language is such a noble thing to do. You will have your mind so much more open and you will be richer for another experience.

Also, if you need help with anything, I will be more than glad to help you. My askbox is always open.

Good luck.

Exploring Château Guillard

Hello everybody! Local french baguette here to help you with easter eggs found in the Château Guillard map on PTR!

[screencaps are not mine as my settings are as low as can be, if you wish to be credited, feel free to ask!]

What we know as a basis is that this Château belonged to her family, as stated in the last Dev video.

Maman and Papa are obviously fucking loaded. Or were. Seeing as the château is empty as can be, one can assume that they’re long gone…

First off is Widowmaker’s laptop. The message on the screen is the following:

Bonjour Madame Guillard,

Which translates to:

Hello Madame Guillard,

We confirm by this message that a limousine will await your arrival at the Nice - Côte d'Azur airport at 9:30 PM.
The drive between Nice and Monaco should take about thirty minutes.
You can, of course, change this booking at your convenience.
We remain entirely at your service if you have any other requests.

(please note the awkward wording is from me literally translating pompous french formalities)

From this we can guess a few things:

• This e-mail is from before the section of the Masquerade comic set in Monaco.
Widowmaker has returned to using her maiden name, Guillard.

Next up: Boarding pass!

I’m intrigued by the name Danielle. Possibly a cover-up name since using Amélie might be too obvious? Who knows.

Assuming this is her boarding pass, as it would add up to the statements about Masquerade above, it gives us an idea where in France the Château would be.
The closest airport is CDG, which is the code for the Paris - Charles de Gaulle airport. It leaves me to guess that the Château is located in the Parisian region rather than in Savoie, where Annecy is, as many in the French OW community had assumed… Another speculation was the Loire region, which is notable for it’s grandiose renaissance-era castles and whatnot.

I’m not sure what else I can offer for now! I was told there was a journal in the cellar but I don’t have a good enough screencap to make out and translate what could be written,  so if anybody else wants to provide one, I’d gladly help!
